the child of Shirila would have attacked even with the creature showing its open palms until it noticed the bracelet on its wrist and calmed down. The beast relaxed a bit and simply huffed in annoyance at the hobgoblin before a voice started to speak through the hobgoblins mind. Just great. I can't believe I am being helped by such a weak goblin. They don't even taste good anyway. Even a follower of the mother should at least be able to help though" the voice said and it sounded much like a burly old man with enough scars to call himself a veteran of battle. It soon became clear that the bracelet was acting like a conduit for the young hobgoblin allowing him to speak to the child of Shirila.

@Guy0fV4lor

The wolves chased after him ready to rip him to shreds and spread the meat around. They didn't realize they were running into a trap until it was too late. The wolves quickly fell for the traps either become impaled and dying on the stakes or being wounded enough that all they could do was whimper as they started to bleed out. The Alpha, however, was smarter than that and jumped over the traps before trying to attack the goblin and when the goblin attacked the wolf was able to dodge it and was instead growling loudly at him. IT was clear that this wolf was smart and was the alpha for a clear reason. It knew how to fight and to use its superior speed against a single adversary. If the goblin was going to win they needed to be even more clever then the wolf.

@Haeo

The goblin traveled through the forest and was able to keep a keen eye for everything around him making sure to follow the trail left behind by his soon to be prey. It didn't take long after he went down the shadowed path that he found a horned rabbit eating berries from a branch nearby. There wasn't much space for the goblin to hunt the rabbit however since the narrowed path was harder to traverse without letting the rabbit know. The goblin would need to be very quiet if it wanted to stay hidden and simply get close enough to administer its poison.

Hogoblin Zats

While Zats was happy to help Gina with her shrine he couldn't help but wonder if she realized he still wasn't as serious about serving Shirila as she was, and what it could mean for their relation if she ever found out. His worries quickly dissipated when they were done and she cuddled up to him. In response he placed his arm around her shoulder.

Way too soon for his tastes though she rolled away and after looking at him with a bright red face ran off, clearly needing to sort something out. Admittedly her doing this annoyed him somewhat but he had no doubts some of his actions had the same effect on her.

Rather than immediately chase after her he decided to let her some of the alone time she needed again, and used the opportunity to watch the mother rabbit and her young until he got hungry. Since he wasn't in the mood to eat rabbit he set off on his own, heading to the West at first but slowly going more and more North without realizing it. All the wile he looked for any trace of non-rabbit prey.

Skrik was fortunate. His method of searching paid off. But, it wasn’t ideal. He held very still and observed the situation and his prey. The path was heavily shadowed which gave him an advantage by making him harder to see. However, it was very narrow and that meant he only had one path he could follow without certainly alerting his prey. Then again, he could smell the horned rabbit. The wind was not strong but it was from the rabbit’s direction which meant that the rabbit couldn’t smell him.

Everything would come down to stealth and speed. But, Skrik didn’t like relying on that when he had yet to see how fast this beast could move. He could tell it’s primary method of motion was a forward jump and knew that its horn was its strongest obvious weapon. However, he also spotted claws on its feet. They weren’t as dangerous as the horn but they were a factor. The horned rabbit was clearly able to scamper and evade with sudden changes in direction and it was small enough to dodge right through the bushes that lined this trail.

He would only have one chance to get this right. He looked at himself again in his mind. He had reach and he knew he could be quiet. He had his poisoned knife. But, landing a knife strike would be difficult without alerting the rabbit. He had to guarantee the poison would get into the rabbit. That would give him a real chance to kill it efficiently.

He also had sharp teeth and sharp nails, almost claws now that he could compare the two structures.

He didn’t dare poison his teeth, that wouldn’t be… helpful. But, he should be able to apply poison on his nails. He silently moved his free hand back to where his store of numbing bark was and slipped his fingers inside, pressing them into the pulpy material until he could feel them become slick with the numbing oil. With his free hand poisoned and his knife ready, Skrik took an extra moment to observe the distance between him and the rabbit. He noted every twig and leaf on the path, anything that could make noise, and slowed his breathing to make it quieter.

Then he moved, as smoothly and as silently as he could, until he was close enough to catch the horned rabbit in mid-hop. He knew that it would probably move the instant after he did so he planned his strike to control its decisions. He lashed forward with his knife, aiming for the rabbit’s right-rear leg. However, he would simultaneously lunge forward with his left arm to grasp the rabbit’s body, just below the neck, with his poisoned nails as it hopped to the left, into an available open space from which it could even more easily escape. His nails were sharp enough to pierce its skin and he planned to poison it even as he pinned it for a killing blow from his knife to the area just below the head.

Nyma

Day 5: Morning

Nymna listened to the pale goblin's response, she nodded a few times in affirmation as the large Hobgoblin explained things and tossed her the bracelet. She took it and put it on as she listened, at first looking mildly shocked as her vision changed into the sort of things Luz was seeing. Was this maybe a tool for perception of the soul? That was the first thought that came to her mind as she considered who this gift was from, and what the goddess presided over. It seemed logical enough a guess, anywho, until or unless hard answers were garnered at some point if the goddess desired to answer such questions. Whatever the case, Nyma continued to listen, once in a while adjusting the spider corpse being carried on her back.

So having dedicated her kill to the goddess with this guy around....fufufu, the strength from each kill would only be even greater for her and the others! A most welcome thing, and she felt in a better mood with that in mind. A small wry smile again came to her face as she continued to listen to Gird and Luz's rules for hunting and such things, the idea of hunting with fellow worshippers being appealing to her, though she was also surprisingly glad Barth wanted to come along regardless of not wanting to partake in Duvelna worship. He'd been compliant, yes, but beyond that he'd been helpful, testing of the situation with the spider and overall useful to the aim of killing their opponent. Plus she felt a small soft side for the happy doofus who seemed to love risks, whom she'd been working with so far, though she dared not tell him that.

Still, she could use a similar stance as the spider (as she had in this fight) for future hunting experiences, as a measure to attack or defend in good measure. Even pounce better onto prey if needed, for that matter.

She also payed some attention to what the other Hobgoblin said as well, before giving a light but subtle chuckle.

"Yeah, i'm Nyma, and honestly i'm glad the goddess heard my prayer to her and sent you two this direction. Honestly, on seeing Gird here walk up, and not instantly go for our throats, i had some suspicions about the matter of if you two were enemies or not, or perhaps i took a gamble like Barth here," she said to Luz in honesty but also her usual blunt manner, somewhat amused by Luz's own somewhat obvious attempt to get Gird's attention on a personal note. Not hard to potentially see the bit of feelings at least that one of those two hobgoblins maybe had anyways.

But she then looked to Gird, before speaking once more with some added gusto then before.

"I can agree to those rules without issues. I'd be glad to join the hunt for more spiders, and we can see how useful the venom is as well later. Maybe see if that could be used against bigger game in time. Ah....but yeah, i'm ready to go right now, but Barth needs his spear back, or at least something to use while we are out killing spiders anyways."

If nothing else maybe Barth could find a decent branch and do something like put web on the end to stick it to enemies. Or something to compensate if his spear was somehow truly lost for the time being.

As she continued on running away from the boy, she has found herself yet again in a familiar setting. Like before she found the stone church and its undead warriors, she was lost in the forest. She quickly checked to see if the ancient sword that she gotten from the very first skeleton she defeated was still there. Only to sigh once she sees that it was long gone but, luckily the wooden club was still on her sides.

But, aside from the wooden stick and her blessed strength which was given to her by the goddess. She was completely unarmed and unprotected as her shield was now in bits and pieces scattered throughout the stone flooring. She stops for a good minute or so in order to examine her current location. Noticing that aside from the river near her, the forest had a somewhat different vibe to it than before, like it was telling her to go as far away as fast as she can possibly go.

She steeled herself, taking a deep breath after which she takes a look at her surroundings. Seeing if there was anything different, before following the river further north once more. Collecting the rocks and sticks near the river and stopping to cut some of the plants growing on the edges of the flowing body of water.

After getting all that she needed. She crouches down putting all of the materials she gathered at this point down. Using her basic knowledge of Amateur carpenter she goes to work on making a simple axe. She picks up the stones examining it then after a few minutes decided to use the larger and longer of the pile. Using the rejects to bash and trim it on to size. Chipping away at it creating a sharp edge like the blade of an axe.

After the laborious job was done she turns her attention to the wooden leg she was using before. She knew from experience that the rectangular shape of it was far from ideal and actually hurt whenever she gotten a successful hit with it creating a lot of bruises and a wounds on her palms.

With added gusto seeing the progress that she made quickly made use of the remaining rocks to crave something more comfortable and easier to use. After getting a somewhat desirable feel to it she starts craving something into the grip, engraving a small leaf into it. Though the weapon itself was crude at best it could easily beat the last three weapons she had in the past. Now it was now the most important part of the work which was attaching it to the handle. She quickly grabs the last of the stones and the sticks with her. And like using a chisel craved out the finishing touches before making a hole on the opposite side of where the sharp point was where she was going to drive in crude wooden nails she made with one of the sticks she had and ramming it into the wood and the hole before using the reef that she gotten from the river to tie it all together.

Though it was far from what she wanted, she was still impress with how it turned out. Swinging it around noticing the better handling that she lacked in the past. Happy about her new weapon she lays it into the ground and claps her hands together. “Thank you Shirila for the guidance and the wisdom that you have given to me. I hope that I figure out what’s happened with me emotionally. And I wish to dedicate this axe to you, may it give me power to overcome my foes and bring you glory in return. “ She ends as she separates her hand from it.

While Gina was out exploring Nene was busy on the shrine seeing it as an suitable place to make her den, while she failed to noticed her master and the other goblin left the shrine long ago. It quickly chosen the mounds around the center as her home digging inside and making a home for her near the rabbit with its young.

After it was comfortable enough she decided to rest for a while awaiting her masters call.

Summary
 • She got lost.
 • She made her way up north.
 • While she continues on, she collected stones, sticks and plants from the surrounding river.
 • She made an axe using the wooden handle as an grip and a large rounded rock as her blade.
 • She dedicated the finished axe to Shirila.

Hobgoblin Gird
A New Brother and Sister >>>>> A sticky situation /// Day 5 // Morning

Still, the hobgoblin smiled at them. This goblins answer to his rules was enough to go on from here, and he was glad to have found this Nyma so early in the day. Luz’s question however made him look back toward her for a moment then step back away from them, so he was sure that they could talk to both of them. He knew his strategy was worthwhile, but he knew it wasn’t worth that much if he never explained it to others. The lack of communication between them could begin to fray nerves in the future if he was not careful.

For a moment he was quiet while he pondered his next words. “I am quite aware of my standing within this group and to the goddess. Which I'm sure you are as well. But, I am planning ahead” he paused for a moment while he glanced around. Best not to be surprised by ambush predators. “Eventually we will gain many more followers and leave a trail of blood and bodies in our wake. However, I will be unable to control them all and will need others to command and lead those others who join. So how am I going to be able to know if any of you are up for the task when I’ve never seen you lead?”

His eyes moved between the two of them. His voice was calm and a little monotone but his gaze was rather intense, he remembered his dream from the night before and could feel something pushing him forward. Something that he could feel in his chest and head that was continually pushing him to be great. A feeling resembling a chill that ran down his spine and a hunger to be better, to make them better. “We will prove to the goddess that we are worth her time one step at a time, and right now that means hunting and killing spiders.”

The pale Variant then turned and walked past the two goblins and toward the spear. At first the webs were easy to walk through but then became tougher and tougher. Like walking through knee-deep mud and muck Gird found that there were many more strong tendrils of web strewn through the lighter webbing. From this he could readily gather that the smaller blanket of sticky webs made it difficult to move through in mass while the longer strands were used more for tripping and sensing vibrations which he was making a lot of as he reached the spear.

Something about this place made him feel like he was being watched. And with the trail he had left behind him, as well as all the vibrations that scattered amongst the webs deeper into the forest. He wouldn’t be surprised if more of these spiders came thinking something big got caught in their silken snares. Pulling the spear free of the webs he looked out into the dark web covered forest and towards what he could only think would have been this spiders home as if expecting something to come rushing out toward him. The hobgoblin would only hesitate like this for a moment or two before joining back up with the others and continuing along the trail.

Hobgoblin Luz

@ReusableSword@Crusader Lord@Wildman13@Jangel13

Luz went wide eye as she knew he had somewhat of a point, the reason Luz objected in the first place cause she didn't want to take orders from those who are weaker than her nor did she have a reason to trust the two other goblins as of yet. But she realizes that if the two were going to be worthy followers then they were going to have to lay down the ground now rather then later. "I...see your point." Luz said shallowing her pride in looking away from him. "However, through i still find it hard to trust the leadership of stranglers; i will obey the rules of your system whenever reasonable." Luz told him calmly.

As the group prepared to leave Luz then took a minute to grab a rock and begin to clean off rust on of the edges of the blade. Once she was done she would discard the rock after cleaning off just one side edge of the blade for she didn't want to keep the group waiting, plus for reason unknown to her Luz felt she could complete the hunt using one edge of the blade for now.

Goblin Barth

Day Five: Morning

@Crusader Lord@Jangel13@demonspade64@ReusableSword

Barth let the three worshippers of Duvelna talk among themselves for the time, it was good that they were bonding with one another. From the outside it was clear to him that the three would likely end up traveling together for quite some time. He could also see that eventually their paths, his and theirs, would diverge. This fact didn’t bother him in the slightest, he was curious to see how well he would survive when on his own. For now though he was more than happy to have such strong companions, Nyma more than the others as they had already been traveling together and she had proven to be quite clever as well as generous as his currently absent spear clearly indicated.

He returned his attention to Gird when the pale hobgoblin began pushing his way through the webbings that blocked the path to Barth’s spear. He would have to make sure to thank the apostate when they had a chance. However after personally experiencing the methods used by the spiders he believed that they soon would be entering another battle as Gird was causing more than subtle vibrations to travel along the webs. Once more he sent out a silent thanks to whatever deity had been watching over their prior fight for allowing him and Nyma to emerge unscathed.

Just as he had moments ago, Barth once more searched the area for a suitable tree to climb. Without his spear he was a liability on the ground. Unfortunately the choices were more limited, given that Gird had walked through a heavily webbed section most of the trees were covered as well. That is when Barth was struck with another one of his brilliant ideas. Silk formed upon his fingertips, but rather than launch it he let it spread until his fingers were entirely coated. He then lifted one foot and held his fingers close to it and pushed out more silk to cover it as well before repeating the process with the other foot. His hope was that by using his own silk he would be able to climb the web covered tree without struggling the entire way up.

The tree he picked had a branch near the location that Gird would end up coming back towards as he had reclaimed Barth’s spear. It would once more give him a height advantage and a location to ambush from in the event that more spiders were called. He also had the advantage of a weapon that could be used in close range, the alpha rabbit horn which he would remove from his waist and grasp in one hand after getting settled on the branch, after leaping down onto a spider. Due to the fact that more vibrations had been caused this time he believed there was a good chance that they wouldn’t outnumber their foes as extremely as they had previously and he was glad to have a weapon again. This all of course would only happen provided that his original plan with his silk worked.

The moments until the bracelet were very tense ones for Arch, his steps slowly got shorter an shorter, and by the time he finally heard a voice in his mind, he had already stopped. He took a deep breath in, thinking to himself, "Well, at least... I'm not appetizing..." But he did have someone to help, he looking at the child of Shirila for a few more moments before resuming his steps towards them. With some more ease in his mind, after being recognized as a follower of Shirila, he walked closer to the creature.

"She... She sent me over to you, so that I could offer help. But," He paused as he moved closer, his eyes moving from the head of the Child of Shirila to the wound it had, "I would need some time to, make enough to help with your wound." At least, that was the best he could do for now. He could try cleaning the wound, and applying something to stop the bleeding. Or at least, it would be something to try. Unles Shirila had other ways to deal with this situation, but the hobgoblin was too focused in attempting to think of a way to help the creature to think of asking.

Hobgoblin Ren
Fighting the Alpha /// Late Mourning // Day 5

@Jangel13

Not only did the Alpha avoid Ren's traps, but his [Defensive Strike] as well. The Hobgoblin smiled; this Wolf was an Alpha for a reason.

Stepping back, Ren felt his feet touch dry, flaky dirt. This was quite....... convenient. His hand shooting down, he swiftly flung a handful of the dry dirt into the wolf's eyes. Ten was going to end this here and now, this Wolf sure as hell wasn't going to get second chance. With the wolf (hopefully) blinded, he lunged forward, taking a large horizontal swing at his quarry.

Oleg, Day 5: First Light

The Goblin known as Oleg woke with a startle. How long had he been asleep? He felt like he had slept enough to almost make up for a lifetime... almost. He remembered the last memories he had were of what he believed to be his peers and siblings... but now in the cave... it was largely empty except for the Old Goblin. He figured that everyone had left the cave and set off to hunt and find food. He figured he should do the same as his stomach rumbled. How long had he been sleeping? It was almost like he hadn't eaten in days. Regardless, Oleg picked himself up and went to greet the Old Goblin "Hail Elder." on his way out of the cave. He figured he should look around for a weapon of some sort and then try to catch an animal. Or if he failed.... then heavens forbid.... fruits and vegetables. Bleh. Maybe if he was lucky, he would bump into his siblings and they could help each other. Regardless, off he went into the great unknown.

The goblins got ready to continue their hunt as they moved forward. Oddly enough Goblin Barth idea to use his own silk as tension worked allowing him to climb over the silk and if he watched closely he would notice that this technique didn't produce the same vibrations that traveled throughout the webs like when Nymph used her spear to hit the webs. If anything it seemed that using this method made the webs act like a rope ladder rather then a snare. The vibrations didn't travel and would be invaluable to learn.

Soon the entire group was moving forward once more in search of spiders to hunt. The deeper they went into spider territory the more webs they encountered and not only did they find spider webs they would soon start to notice baby giant spiders crawling through the webs and avoiding their movements for obvious reasons. If they were foolish enough to actually grab one they would be poisoned and call in the mother. As they traveled they soon saw another spider, however, this one was a bit larger than the other spider and had a larger thorax than the previous one showing that it was most likely the female of the species and like before it was surrounded by webs. Although this one had baby spiders crawling around as if exploring or patrolling for any vibrations...

@Wildman13

She traveled north the foreboding air telling her to leave but unfortunately fell on deaf ears. The goblin created an adequate ax for herself. Once she stopped crafting the Ax she would soon notice in the river that there were little beads inside the water. If she looked closely though she wouldn't be able to tell, were fish eggs. If she was smart, however, she wouldn't get to close either with her hand or her face...

@Duthguy

The goblin set out in search of new prey to find. No doubt the taste of rabbits would grow stale after too long. As the goblin kept searching he would soon find the odd buzzing of an insect. In the distance, he would see a giant beetle. It's armor tougher than anything he ever faced before. Its armor was a dark brown like a normal beetle and had a soft underbelly much like a crocodile. However, while its armor was tough enough that it could destroy rocks its eyes were tiny and on its sides making its sight nearly pointless as it hunted by scent...

@Darked13

I doubt your weak attempts at medicine would help goblin the child said before he heard the voice of Shirila in his mind. "Little one there is a way to craft a medicine to heal him fully but my child simply cannot move. Please head south there is a plant there that when added with clots the bleeding and aids in the healing process dramatically. You know it by its purple and white coloration" she informed him knowing that if he wanted to help he needed to be fast.

The Alpha wolf was about to strike when he felt the dirt hit its eyes making it ground and whine as it tried to get away. It was blinded however and couldn't run away quick enough. By the time it was able to see a large slash appeared at its side making it yelp. It stood on wobbly legs but it stayed standing and kept growling at the goblin for what seemed like ages. However, in reality, it was only 2 minutes. It wanted to fight towards the very end but in the end blood loss took over and it collapsed marking its kill.

Goblin Ren learned pack leader: With the blood of an alpha on the goblins hands, he has proven he could fight in a pack. Now if a pack of wolves appears without an alpha he can assert his dominance and take over. However, this has a high chance of failing as well, can be upgraded until all wolves fall under the goblins control

Soon the goblin saw images and memories from the alpha and how it became the alpha through rigorous fights and territorial disputes but most importantly how it got a pack to follow him.

@Heyitsjiwon

"Oleg, bout time you woke up. I thought you would have been a stillborn by now" he said somewhat surprised that the young one finally got up and started to hunt on his own.

The goblin was clever in his use of his poisons and soon enough he poisoned his own fingernail while clever made his entire hands feel like weights no doubt slowing his movement slightly. When the goblin got back he stalked his prey and got in close. The rabbit noticed his first movement and tried to run away from the knife but it didn't think the goblin had claws. As such the nails coated with the poison quickly took effect and the rabbit grew still. The rabbit was unable to move through with his neck bleeding it would bleed out in only a few moments showing the goblin the first kill.

Goblin Shrik learned Slash: The goblin has learned how to use his sharper nails to create a slashing attack making it effective in rending flesh. Has no effect on armor; can be upgraded

Oleg, Day 5

"What can I say, Pops. I needed my beauty sleep." Oleg replied with a cheeky grin on his face as he tried to get on the elder goblin's good side. He then looked outside and said "Any wisdom you could share with me before I start exploring a bit?" as he stretched to get his body ready to move and shake off the sleep. If there was no good or useful advice, then Oleg would just set off to find a weapon of some sort. Maybe a thick piece of wood to use as a club. Or get a decent sized jagged rock and use another bigger rock to sharpen it. Then tie it to a stick to make a rough stone axe... alternatively he could sharpen the rock to a point and make a rudimentary spear. Then it was off hunting for him, and hopefully he could find something he could handle.

She saw the fish eggs for the first time they were small but, what made her pique her interest was how big the cluster was. She stood for a while thinking of how big a creature it would need in order to produce such cluster but, knowing that she was mostly lost and she seeing the time it was going to be night and she didn’t have enough energy to effectively fight. She grabbed what little materials she had in order to build an logo or a marker that she was there.

It took a few minutes in order to make something making an circle with two lines in the middle. It was basic and mostly made out of scraps. After she was done she takes another look at the lake trying to see if the cluster was still there or if the mother of it was finally there.

Seeing that there was no difference she makes her trek back to the shrine, in hopes of getting someplace safe and secure before night fall.

Summary

 • She made an small symbol as an reminder that she was there.
 • She looks at the river
 • She makes her way back to the shrine

Hogoblin Zats

The giant beetle didn't look like a tasty prey, but Zats wasn't picky and besides maybe someone could use it's armor for something. That alone was enough incentive for him to engage it in combat. After watching it for a while, from what he hoped was a safe distance, he spotted several weaknesses, namely the placement of it's eyes, it's underbelly and the wings. However since he didn't know how good the insect's other senses were he didn't feel confident just walking up to it.

As quietly as he could Zats backtracked a little and moved in a large circle to end up behind the beetle. With that done he snuck closer while hiding partially behind his shield. If he got close enough unnoticed he would try to stab in the unarmored underbelly with his spear, using both creaturologist, his skill as a Pole arm combat beginner and Gravekeepers spirit to not only aim for a weak spot but also do maximum damage.

Goblin Skrik

Skrik was able to do it. He felt a surge of satisfaction as he felt the horned rabbit weaken under the influence of the poison. That feeling soon quieted to something like relief as he watched the numbed creature peacefully fall unconscious and then perish as it bled out. It looked… peaceful. He tried not to dwell on exactly why he was relieved. Instead, he began to take the body apart as soon as he was certain it was dead.

He found the wound in its neck to be a good starting point and began to cut shallowly from there, cutting around the neck with his knife and then cutting from the front of the throat down the belly to the point between the leg joints. Then he cut crossways from there down the large part of each leg before cutting around the ankle. With this done he did a similar crossway cut at the foreleg joint line and the wrists. After this he was able to pull the skin completely off. With it all in one piece it could be made into any number of things. He set it aside as he began to use the clean nails of his right hand to sever connective tissue and pull out sections of meat, eating them one at a time while memorizing their position and size. From this, he could understand the movements of the horned rabbit even more thoroughly. Once he had mostly finished his meal, he removed the horn and examined it closely while he chewed the marrow out of one of the rabbit’s smaller bones. It had a hard outer surface but it looked like it had a small amount of marrow as well. That gave him an idea. But, first he had to find a place to work safely. His hunt had taken time. There was still time in the day, but not much, and his left hand was only just starting to regain its feeling. He would need a better way to deliver the poison, ideally one that didn’t poison him too. He took all of the parts of the rabbit that remained, mostly the horn and bones and organs, and wrapped them in the hide. He would go looking for either another rabbit, ideally trying the same method only without the poison on his hand, or for a place with quiet water.

Then he stopped. There was something that still needed to be done. He wasn’t even fully aware of why he felt the need to do it but he knelt down, pulled the horned rabbit’s skull out of his hide bag and looked into its empty eye sockets. Then he nodded and used his claw-like nails to dig a small hole at the base of the berry bush. He placed the skull into this hole and buried it.

“Let your strength feed others. Never go hungry. Thank you.” Skrik whispered.

Without saying anything else Skrik headed into the forest, following narrow paths that twisted and wove through the woods, and seeking either more rabbit or water. Yet, even as he searched, his mind was active. There had been several types of berries growing in the place where he found the horned rabbit. It had only been eating one. He took mental notes on the other berries as sources of alternative poisons and kept his eyes and ears open for anything unusual, especially for signs of nightfall and any trees with limbs close enough to the ground for easy climbing.

Dᴀʏ 5

While the voice of the child of Shirila spok disheartening words, his resolve to help was strengthened as he heard Shirila's voice. She even explained what he needed to find and where to try to find it. All he needed to do was get it fast...

And being fast was what Arch knew how to do best. Quickly, Arch spoke to the creature, "They might usually not help, but Shirila is guiding me. I am sure I'll be of help in the end. I be back quickly." With that he turned around, picking up the skull and the stick before bolting off to the south, even draining some energy from the skull to increase his speed as he headed southwards. His eyes scanning the surroundings for the said purpe and white plant.

Hobgoblin Gird
A sticky situation >>>> 8 Legged Freaks /// Day 5 // Morning

Gird could feel the vibrations and watched them disappear into the forest but nothing came back. Perhaps they were listening but were not interested. Handing the spear back to the other goblin and moving back towards the other two he smiled. “Alright let’s go see what else we can find hidden amongst the webs. I’ll take point and push forward through these webs” the hobgoblin took a moment to look between the two females. “You two speak up if you see anything, but I’m going to be the bait for this next encounter. Try not to let me die.” A bit of a sinker before pushing forward through the webs.

Gird would try his best to navigate through the webs and did notice that Barth was having little trouble getting through this area. The webbing he had wrapped around his hands, feet, and legs seemed to make him almost glide across the sticky substance. After a little while of walking Gird found himself copying the young goblins tactics but only to make his walk a little easier. But still found his extra weight still forced his foot falls through the weaker webs.

Before too long, the forest began to change again. This time growing darker and more menacing with thicker webs and the ever subtle movements of baby spiders in the webs near them. Even with being babies they were still almost as big as his hand. The bright coloring on these flared his instincts making him steer clear of them and not to draw too close. Besides, he still wanted to keep some element of surprise. Which he found hard to do, with the small group of four.

The small trail soon gave way to a larger opening, the other side of the opening held a denser patch of webs that funneled down to a small hole near the bottom. Inside this home of webs was a large spider surrounded by many smaller baby spiders. This spider seemed a bit different from the other and was definitely bigger. Obviously a female, perhaps the other spider was a male. He would have to wait on his thoughts for now as he stopped walking and motioned toward it for the others to see.

“Let me know when you’re ready” Gird whispered. The pale hobgoblin took his time while the others set up to mentally map out and note the way the larger strands of web were laid out from the spider’s home. A highway of strands all transmitting information through vibration, all someone had to do was make a call and summon the beast to them. Being as careful as he could, Gird stepped off the path and into the open being careful not to stray too far from the others, so they could still help. Gird would then find a strand that led directly to the spider and wait for the others. Once they were ready, Gird would then begin to pluck the strand in a way that one might think something on the other end was struggling.
