It's out...

Out of curiosity, who is all your favourite main villain/hero combo? I mean you get iconic ones like Joker and Batman, Flash and his Reverse, Captain America and Redskull. Obviously all these heroes have other villains they face (I really struggled to think of a main one for spidey), but I'm talking about the Villains you think of when you hear a heroes name.

For example with me it has to be Reverse Flash. I love how he hates Barry for 'betraying' him, and does all this shit to make Barrys life hell but at the end of the day, that's all he can do. He can never kill Barry because then he'd cease to have his own origin and be a paradox in itself. I just love the dynamic that creates between them, and with how much about Barrys personal life and masked life he knows. Joker I thinks cool, but I love how RF is a psychopath but isn't completely crazy.

I would have to go with Spidey and Green Goblin. I always think of Green Goblin when it comes to Spide-Man.

Hobgoblin and Moon Knight seems to be one of my go-to's even though Moonie has a lot more prominent villains.

Flash and the Rogues for me.

Get outta here with that Reverse-Flash time travel murdering bullshit! Give me six scrappy criminals with crazy weapons.

Nightwing and Blockbuster, for sure.

Likewise, Daredevil and Kingpin.

Spidey and Ock for me. Nothing like two super geniuses that hate each other and have weirdo super powers.

Speaking of Spidey, post should be up shortly. Just formatting now.

Well it helps that you guys aren’t asking for the cream of the crop Spidey villains haha

this is why I always claim a bunch of C-listers. they're just as good as the top villains, but no one cares that you're taking them :P

Success. Seems like the space crew is cool with the Shi'ar direction I'm taking. So after work I'll start working on a post.

Daredevil and Bullseye. Depending on who's writing, the Kingpin can certainly be a physical threat, but the entire concept of the character is that he's a threat because of his vast resources which can be a sort of gordian knot in terms of undermining. However, Bullseye is certainly a physical threat as well, but he lacks the pretentiousness that The Kingpin carries with him. The Kingpin can be strong-armed and manipulated, but Bullseye cannot. He doesn't have anything to protect and that makes him extraordinarily dangerous.

Superman and Brainiac. Lex Luthor basically has a lot of the same things going on as Kingpin, the whole bit about vast resources and struggling against my shoelaces, but Brainiac is similarily vast while being much more threatening in just about every scenario. Brainiac represents the very darkness of the utopian home world that Superman lost. At the same time, Brainiac is also a layered and intricate entity with ambition on a scale that Superman usually doesn't bother with.

I actually liked Superior Spider-Man more than I liked the regular Amazing Spider-Man.
