The light from Hany's Ribbon would take another 4 or 5 years to reach MASGC headquarters, but the Ribbon is actually moving much faster than light itself, and increasing speed - tearing through space and decimating comets, asteroids and everything else in its path as it continues on its course towards MASGC Headquarters and Iceolia.

It is now 4 lightyears away and closing.

Fanny didn't respond at all when Ernest told her that her ship had disappeared from sensors. Maybe she didn't care, or maybe her mind was occupied on other things.

"Always nice to be noticed." She remarked as she read the terminals readout.

Once it was done she accessed Ernest's navigational sensors. They weren't exactly what she was used to. Oddly enough, as she then started pressing at the controls, Ernest's navigational systems were improved to scan further through space, while the necessary adjustments were made to detect Hany's Ribbon.

"Well, that's strange...." She said, playing ignorant, as if she had nothing to do with it. A few seconds later, after tapping out a few more adjustment and dispersing a scanning field, confirmation of a matching instance was displayed on the terminal.

"Wow, that was easy! Found Hany's Ribbon!" She declared with a cheeky smile; "That bitch just appeared in the next galaxy over." She then attempted to send the coordinated to Ernest's helm controls. "We can head over whenever you're ready! Probably take a little while to get there, depending on how fast you are.... And how's that beer coming?"

Pirila took a step backwards as the stranger - Dino he called himself - somehow managed to enter the building and started blabbering about Captains and Flagships and Primitives. She had no idea what the guy was talking about though, they weren't near a sea in the slightest!

Before she could respond though, another person stepped forward to respond in some weird accent - Pirila had difficulty understanding most of it - and asking about job offers and teleporters.

Sighing, Pirila shook her head. "To answer your question, Mister Dino, my name's Pirila, and I have no idea what you're talking about. This... other person whom's name I don't know seems to know more though so I suggest talking to him instead."

After checking the door once more to see if it was still closed, Pirila turned her attention back to the newcomers. "I'll let you three converse for a while, I've got someone to check up on. So if you'll excuse me I'll be going." She said, before heading out of the room and up the stairs.

Cuna glances over at the person approaching from the shadows disapprovingly, then smiles as Pirila takes her leave. Good. He didn’t particularly want her to hear what he had to say to Dino. Speaking of which... he turns back to Dino and angrily begins.

“Ah yes, I see how it is, you’re a fucking prick who believes himself to unfailingly be morally, mentally, and most likely in all damn ways to be higher than us due to the sheer reason that you were fucking lucky enough to be born in somewhere less ‘primitive’, as you say” Primitive here is accompanied by a mocking tone and air quotes. “Which, by the way, is completely false. Anybody from any fucking time period could just be here, I would know, came here through my own damn method. But enough of that, your...introduction really gives me the feel that you’re fucking assured of your own self-importance, although I really can’t think of anyone stupid enough to give you a position of leadership. As for names... fuck you.”

He turns away, beginning to walk off, before stopping. “Oh, and another thing... you’re not Gods fucking gift to women, or for that matter anybody. God doesn’t give a shit about fate, we were all made to die in the end.” Despite his lack of belief in Hokum’s godliness, he did conceptually know the power of god. And fucking hated it. Omnipotent assholes...

Mili nodded and waved as Pirila left the room, before drifting off to sleep in her bed.

......

"I'll let you three converse for a while, I've got someone to check up on. So if you'll excuse me I'll be going." She said, before heading out of the room and up the stairs.

Mili… asleep in her bed. So innocent. So young. So precious… so pure…. Ahhh, yes, the sweetest ingredients. Who could resist a recipe such as this? Not Dnias… of course.

Silent as a phantom, he looms at the child’s bed. Through the depth of his hood, his crimson glare is fixed upon the supple contours of her face. His nostrils flare with each inhalation. His mouth waters with anticipation. The sound of her pulse moves like enchanting music through his being; an intoxicating rhythm of jungle drums luring the bloodthirsting spirits to feast.

It is time

He stoops low, pressing two fingers gently to her throat, softly uttering the arcane words in her delicate ear….

The scanners have picked up a fast moving object and as according to their data, the undefined object's trajectory was within the way of their current location. Unknowingly, they can't tell a clue whether it was an asteroid, a spacecraft or anything in their way due to their lack of advanced detection system. The MASGC headquarters in their defense are now embracing for an impending collision if they're somehow unlucky to get hit by one. By the top of it, there's nothing for MASGC operators can do to stop the imminent impact towards either their space HQ or the planet Iceolia, and left a hope not to cause a terrible stain early on.

Pirila sighed as she climbed up the stairs. Today was already shaping up to be an exhausting but slightly interesting day. Three complete weirdos showed up, each weirder than the last. First that guy who kept talking about Portals in Space and wouldn't stop swearing, then that guy who kept talking about Ships who somehow managed to enter through a closed door, and then that guy with the weird accent who wanted a job from the weird captain guy.

Still, they'd probably leave after the storm anyway. She'd seen her fair share of weird people in her life, like that girl with the weird eye. Of course, Mili had a weird eye too, but even Mili's eye looked slightly normal as opposed to the girl's.

But that didn't matter anymore, the girl had left as suddenly as she'd arrived, as will the three strangers. The only person that mattered was Mili.

Opening the door to Mili's room to check on her, Pirila is horrified as she sees a complete stranger looming over the girl's bed, hand at her throat. Panicking, she picks up the nearest item: a large wooden dice she found once, about the size of those wooden cubes with letters on them.

"HEY!" She shouts, hoping to draw the person's attention as she throws the dice at the assailant's head. "LEAVE HER ALONE!"

As Mili sleeps through it all, Pirila looks around for another item to use as a weapon.

"Pleased to meet you Pirila!" Dino replied in a hearty tone, hands still on his hips, then watches as she makes her way out of sight up stairs. "I'll be right down here with these primitives if you need a special something!"

@Zyngard@Doc Doctor

"Speak of the devil!" Dino says, taking his attention to Donny, "A real life Neanderthal playing dress up real peoples clothes. How delightful!"

Dino then listens to Donny, nodding his head in a condescending way as he speaking his piece. When Donny is done, Dino is about to answer his question, but is interrupted by a pudgy yet tall man, who is appears to be very upset, maybe angered about his inability to wrap his undeveloped mind around the philosophical matters he begins ranting about.

"Fuck You, you say? Interesting name you have there." Dino chuckles when Fuck You starts to walk away, and turns to Donny, stating; "And he thinks I'm the vain one. Heh!"

Ignoring the rest of Fuck You's ranting effort to philosophize about God, of all things, Dino takes the moment to answer Donny's earlier question:

"I'm not entirely sure what you said there, young man. Something about a job and a warm meal." Dino seems chuffed by the prospect, but adds; "I can't offer you a job, I do apologize. But you see, after cramming as many of our people into our fleet of space ships during the pending destruction of our planet, we don't really have any room to spare - But I tell you what! If you stick around, I'll take you on up to my Flagship in any case, might even let you sit in the captains chair! How does that sound?" He gives Donny a chummy slap on shoulder. "And yes, of course, a warm meal in the Foodhall would be fine by me! You never know, if one of my crew dies, maybe you can take their place! Now, what is your name, young to middle aged man?"

Do to a horrible misunderstanding, I had to rewrite this post, mostly the part consearning Rodia.
@Hokum
As Ernest
"How odd that my sensors would randomly improve while you used them" Ernest said, knowing full well that it was Fanny May's doing, but pretending not to in an attempt to avoid unnecessary argument.

"We might as well get going" Continued Ernest. "I'll start up the main engine... Oh, I found some beer, too, surprisingly enough. Copious amounts, in fact. Not sure how good it will be, though."

While Ernest is talking and getting the ship's hyperdrive engine (or whatever makes it go so dang fast) Some repair pods make it to the storage bay to repair the sensors.

The Terminal reads:
50 INSTANCES OF "BEER" FOUND IN FOOD STORAGE. ASSIGNING REPAIR POD TO DELIVER 1 INSTANCE OF BEER TO USER "FANNY MAY".
INITIATING MAIN ENGINE. TARGET: NEAR INSTANCE "HANY'S RIBBON"

REPAIR PODS HAVE STARTED DIOGNOSTISTICS ON STORAGE BAY SENSORS.... 50% DONE.

As that is going on a repair pod walks through one of the doors. It is small, spherical robot about the size of a basketball, with a few robotic arms and sensors protruding out of it. It is somewhat awkwardly holding a can of beer in one of its arms, and makes its way over to Fanny May.

As Ramrod and Rodia
Lars has found himself unable to contact the Quatis. He goes to Ramrod's office to make his report.

Ramrod is working on some boring paperwork when Lars comes in. He says "Mr Ramrod! I'm sorry, I'm unable to make contact with the Quatis!"

Ramrod looks concerned. "Mraoh mraoh?" (You have any idea why?)

Lars responds "I'm not sure, but I think it has something to do with Quote had an awful misunderstanding with Hokum-"

"MRAOH!" (Stop!) Ramrod interrupts, "Mraoh Mraoh MRAOH, mraoh!" (We're supposed to be acting IN-CHARACTER, Lars!)

"Oh... right. Sorry, Ramrod"

Suddenly, Rorod Bursts in. (R-Core are fond of bursting into offices, it seems)

"Ramrod! I have some bad news." Said the frantic robot. "Apparently, a huge shipment of metal was in the middle of the solar system that got blown up by Hany's Ribbon, and we've lost contact with them. We suspect the ship was destroyed in the blast"

"Mraoh Mraoh...." (That's going to cause some problems) Mraoh'd Ramrod. "Mraoh mraoh mraoh-mraoh-mraoh?" (Don't we need that metal for a new batch of R-Core that are being made this month?)

"Yes! Production has already started!" Said Rorod.

"Mraoh... Mraoh Mraoh, Mraoh!" (well, could be worse. We COULD have to deal with Hany's Ribbon!"

"...That's ridiculous. Why the heck would it be here?" Said Rorod.

-Donny immediately straightened up and clicked his heels together, saluting sharply to Dino, every bit the eager young recruit. It'd not be difficult to tell he was doing his best to keep from grinning with joy in order to look professional before the captain, an endearing display. There was no real joy in his soul at the moment. Only a black, smoldering contentment, charcoal embers of witching-hour anticipation.-

"Ayuh sir! Rookie Cadet Junior Buzz Lightyear, sir!"

-Look at the little sidekick pet trying to be official. Bright eyed and bushy-tailed, arms stiff at his sides, Donny briefly considered which position aboard the flagship he'd most enjoy. This was as good as a formal job offer by all means.-

Magnus looked at the planet, astonished. "I-" he paused "I can't thank you enough." He said with unmatched enthusiasm. He hasn't owned a ship since it was destroyed by, let's say, unfortunate consequences on his end. "Well, I guess this is where I get off and I say goodbye. Maybe we'll see each other around sometime. And given the chance, I could "return" the favor." He said suggestively while packing his things. "Again, thanks for everything. You don't know how grateful I am." he said while waiting for her to go towards the planet.

The gentle rush of Mili’s blood pulsed rhythmically against his fingertips. His fingers a siphon. Her jugular a pump. His whispered words of stimulation; flattering, coaxing, enticing her sweet life force to join with his. It rushed up his arms, gorging his body, filling his senses, granting him strength, draining her own. Soon they’ll be one –

Now she enters!

"You deplorable hag – No!" These telepathic words scream through Pirila's mind, though not in the voice of a man, rather the voice of Mili. Simultaneously, Dnias straightens his posture, turning and deflecting the dice with a powerful swipe of one arm. The wooden cube, now engulfed in flames, returns toward Pirila’s head at twice the velocity.

With his fingertips no longer in communion with Mili, the child will no doubt awaken; perhaps stirred by the breaking of his contact that kept her asleep, or perhaps by the searing heat of his fingerprints burnt into the delicate skin of her neck. On any accord, the process has been interrupted. He was not able to complete the feast at his leisure. But she will, now, always be branded with his mark… his beacon… until he returns to complete his feast.

The Vector Pathol, an organism, which resembles a starfish wrapped about his left wrist, illuminates. The sage light it generates encloses his person. The atmosphere surrounding him shutters. The air appears to crack like shattering glass, yet for but a moment before Dnias is gone.

Pirila swiftly ducks to avoid the wooden cube thrown back at her head. She had not expected the attacker to be able to react this quickly. The telepathic shout did little to faze her though, as she'd already heard similar things before.

As she stands up again to throw something else, Pirila notices that the assailant has vanished in a bright light.

Then, Mili's crying brings Pirila's attention to her. Dropping what she was holding, she rushes over to calm down Mili. Giving her a hug, she holds the girl close until the crying dies down a bit. Mili was clearly upset. Did the attacker do something to her mind as well?

It doesn't take long however for Pirila to spot the burns on her neck. She had no idea what caused it, but it was the likely source of Mili's pain. Dragging a small box out from underneath Mili's bed and opening it up, Pirila takes out a bandage and bandages the wound while trying to calm down the girl further.

Eventually, Mili's crying turns into sniffling as Pirila manages to calm her down. "Are you alright?" She asks, and Mili shakes her head.

"what happened?" Mili manages to ask as she cautiously touches the bandage on the burns, only for Pirila to bat her hand away.

"Don't touch that, let it heal." Pirila says, sighing. "I think we need to replace the bandages again."

"...did something attack again?" Mili asks as she slowly sits up, cautiously reaching up to touch the bandages around her eye.

"Something like that." Pirila says. She wasn't going to share the details with Mili, best not to worry her. Nothing had attacked her in her sleep before, only others. Sighing, she pulls a smaller box out from underneath Mili's bed and sets it down next to Mili.

"you're going to replace them now? what about the people downstairs?" Mili asks as Pirila opens the box and pulls out a bunch of bandages. These had been blessed by a passing mage a while ago, and Pirila had taken the opportunity to store a bunch for later use.

"Yeah. They might get nightmares but that's not a big deal if it means no more attacks, right?" Pirila responds as she removes the bandages from Mili's head, unveiling the pitch-black eye that had hidden beneath it. Pirila shudders as a chill goes down her spine - a feeling everyone else in the building gets to feel as well as they too get cursed with terrible nightmares for a week by the temporarily-uncovered eye - before starting to reapply the bandages.

"Don't you think we should've had it removed when she offered to remove it?" Mili says as she tries to stop herself from trembling as Pirila reapplied the bandages. She was scared of the blessed bandages even though she knew they wouldn't harm her, and the pain coming from her neck wasn't helping her in the slightest.

Pirila groans as Mili mentions removing her eye. A while ago a girl had showed up offering to safely remove Mili's eye, but Pirila passed on the offer because it was suspicious. How did the girl know Mili's eye was causing trouble, and why was she so willing to take an item that could summon terrible creatures?

"We're not letting someone take your eye, Mili. If we're having it removed, we're letting it get removed by someone who will destroy it, not someone who will take it with them for dubious purposes." Pirila says, to which Mili responds simply by sighing.

Soon, Pirila finishes applying the bandages. Smiling faintly, she pats the younger girl on the head. "There, that should help!" She says as she pulls Mili out of her bed. "Let's go eat something, we'll see about doing something about that burn afterwards, can't really do anything right now."

Malcolm wanted to open his right door for her, but was too slow as Fanny quickly sat on his driver's seat.

"It likely is a bad idea to drive after drinking that much beer. Do you not wish to rest? Or perhaps pack anything, as we are going on an adventure? Or- well, I could always take over if needed."

Malcolm's interior was still pristine, with some leather wear here and there. The air inside is a bit stale, given how little it has been vented over the course of the years. The rev meter indicates that Malcolm's engine is idling softly, while other gauges show that the engine is in a bit less than optimal condition. The radio is set to a radio station unknown to Fanny, but the volume is turned off. Fanny seemed eager to go for a ride, but her gearstick caressing seems to go unnoticed by Malcolm.

"Well, miss Fanny, the great Enzo Ferrari once said that the Jaguar E-Type is the most beautiful car ever made, but that comment may not say a lot since you may not have heard of Ferrari", he says proudly.

"Despite that, I do not have to... fight off female Carthropods. That is something I will leave to movie cars."

Then Fanny went silent for a moment, meanwhile. Malcolm could not see inside his interior since he does not have eyes on the inside, but the silence only took a moment. It was not really suspicious- and Malcolm was busy explaining why female Carthropods do not fight for a piece of his 'ass'.

"You see, we are quite good at keeping our feelings under control. It would be quite unfortunate for humanity if cars suddenly started to-"

Then, the garage door opened. Malcolm could not see it, but he could certainly hear it rumbling.

"Ah, good. I am not sure what... 'tech hunters' are, but their absence seems to be something good. We shall leave, then, altough I would like to to know where we shall go. It is always a good idea to plan out your trip."

Damien- New York?

CRASH!

Immediately after stepping through the portal, Damien found himself in a bundle on the floor. Damien rubbed the back of his head before he saw the girl who hand ended up above him, who didn't seem that phased about anything at all. Even with her explanation, she didn't even seem that scared. As she ran away, Damien stumbled to his feet and rubbed his head.

"The fuck?" He mumbled before the five goons made their presence known. Looks like they didn't seem to want to talk about things. Damien's first step was to identify all the threats and rank them, if you could even consider these jokers as threats. The blades could be a problem if these guys weren't as human as they seemed, as did the guy with the gun. The pipe and fisticuffs guy were definitely at the bottom of the list.

When he saw the gun raised, two huge crimson fists made of brimstone formed around Damien's fists. Yuki and Onna were summoned. "Ooooh, bad guys to beat up?" Onna giggled excitedly. Yuki decided to pipe up too. "Tsk. Who did that girl think she was? She better have a good reason to drag us into this." She hissed. Damien bought his right hand up when the leader fired.

As the shots rang out, there were a few moments of silence. A smirk crept onto Damien's lips as he opened his clasped hand, releasing the bullets that he had caught with Yuki as they clattered onto the pavement. "Funny... I was just thinking to myself the same thing." He growled. With that, Damien sprinted forward, winding up with a devastating right cross. With his speed, there was no way that their leader was escaping. The first gangster was sent tumbling back out onto the street he came from as he slumped into a crumpled mess.

One of the knife wielders lunged forward, cursing aloud in fury. "You bastard!" He screamed. Damien merely leant down low, bending his knees and diving his torso left before bringing his fist into a powerful stomach punch. The gut-wrenching force had lifted the thug off of his feet as he dropped immediately, clutching his belly in pain. Damien was immediately replied with a fist across the jaw from the big guy.

Damien did recoil a little but stared back at the man with a wide grin on his face and a fire burning in his eyes. "You're gonna regret that." He spat viciously as he answered back with a knee to the stomach. It was enough to double the big guy over, and a swift punch to the back of the head from Yuki did the rest.

With three thugsters quickly dispatched, the two best dealt with easily, the remaining two immediately began to back off. Damien took a couple of steps forward and raised his arms out. "Come on!" He taunted. The cowards dropped their weapons and ran. Damien chuckled and relaxed his stance, extending his fingers out and dispelling Yuki and Onna's forms. With those dealt with, Damien followed that girl's instructions and walked towards the cafe, intrigued as to what she had to say,

Fanny takes the beer from the repair pod and gives it a pat on the head to say thanks. She cracks open the beer and chugs down half the content while Ernest slips into hyperdrive for the Jump to the coordinates near Hany’s Ribbon. She belches quite loud as they arrive at the coordinates.

Apparently happy to see Hany’s Ribbon on the monitor screen of the terminal, Fanny quickly taps into Ernest’s communications system – most likely against Ernest’s permission – and sends a hyper-speed transmission to MASGC’s Operation sector in their Headquarters.

Her message MASGC is as follows:

“For whoever might be listening – This is Fanny May of the starship Ernest. As you’ve probably already noticed by now, there is a massive spatial anomaly heading in direction of your planet and orbiting station. This anomaly is called Hany’s Ribbon and will destroy everything it makes contact with. There is no known force or substance in the universe that can stop it or slow it down. Just so you know, Ernest is not responsible for Hany’s Ribbon, so please don’t place blame. This transmission is not a warning, it’s more of an FYI to let you know that you’re pretty much screwed and there is nothing you can do about it.”

Fanny pauses a moment to smile at the repair pod beside her, then finishes her transmission to the MASGC:

“The only way to save yourselves is to escape the path of Hany’s Ribbon. At its current increasing speed, Hany will be making contact with your planet and headquarters within a day. Do you have enough space vehicles to accommodate your people and get yourselves out of harm’s way before Hany’s Ribbn arrives?”

While awaiting a response from MASGC, Fanny slurps back another swallow of beer and asks Ernest; “Erny, baby, have you ever heard of a little game called Cat and Mouse?” She looks down at the repair pod, and asks: “You got a name there, sweetie?”

@Oh no my soup

Fanny smiles warmly, her body is pebbled with Goosebumps, but the colossal lifeform remains in stationary orbit as she steps up to Magnus, runs her fingertips gently down his cheek.

“I’m already missing you….” She says, a tear beading down her own cheek, “Take care out there.” She leans in close, her breath smells of strawberries and beer. “If you ever need me, just say the devils name in vain and I’ll come as quick as I can.” She turns her eyes to the trash dump of a planet that awaits him, and concludes; “One day we can procreate, but for now just go. Go! ...It’s all ready for you.” With that, she closes the void between them and places her lips on his –

In that instant, Magnus is gone; he feels like his body is being tantalized by a thousand feathers while his organs turn to warm milk and then, ending a moment of pitch black, he find himself standing on a heap of old scrap metal, overlooking a clouded landscape of trash, discarded machinery and all manner of abandoned space craft.

If Magnus was to look up at this moment, through the parting of polluted cloud mass, he would witness Fanny - or whatever that massive life forms true name was - take off into the galaxy like a shooting star.

@Scorpionius

“Tech hunters are lowlifes that abduct technological machines so they can rip em apart and sell their parts. You don’t wanna meet any of them. As for where we’re going, well, you’re just gonna have to trust me on this, Malcolm!”

Without a moments delay, Fanny slams Malcolm into reverse and punches the gas. Exiting the garage, she throws the wheel, sending the car into a spin. Before finishing the spin in a cloud of dust, she shifts into first gear and punches the gas again, tearing down the dirt drive towards the closed gate, but instead of slowing down, she’s up to second gear and closing fast before yelling out the words –

“Open Sesame!”

At her command, the chains on the gate bust open as the doors swing wide, and Malcolm’s front end narrowly misses making contact with the gates steel frame. Squealing out onto the road, Fanny yells her enjoyment while gearing up and approaching the intersection ahead –

“You like surprises right, Malcolm?” Her voice was extatic while hooking a sharp left at the intersection and causing the other traffic to screech to stop. “Cuz there’s I little place I know and I swear you’re gonna love it!”

They continue burning down the city street at 150kmph. All the while, Fanny had a feeling Malcolm could have stopped her by taking control of his own functions, and maybe she was even anticipating he would. After all, Malcolm didn’t really seem like the type car that enjoyed surprises, and although Fanny could handle any vehicle with exemplary precision and control, he might not go much on the rough handling she was putting him through.

The city they were driving though appeared to be similar to most major cities on Earth, with the exception of being slightly more advanced. Aside the road vehicles, there was a network of highways above the city, filled with hovercraft and other flying vehicles.

@GingerBoi123

When Damien arrives in the Café, Fanny gives a geeky, awkward wave to alert him of their table by the window. When he comes and sits down, she doesn’t get out of her seat, she just stares at him until the waitress arrives to take their order.

“Order whatever you want.” Fanny tells him. “It’s on me for your help back there.”

Fanny orders a full strength beer and nothing more, then waits quietly for Damien to place his order.

Once the waitress walks away to get their orders, Fanny props her glasses up on her nose in a Clark Kent style, glances out the window at the cars passing by on the street, looks to the attendant serving behind the counter with a shifty turn of her eyes, then leans forward in her seat, resting her weight on the table to stare Damien in the eyes while speaking in a suspicious but somehow amused tone:

“I thought I knew everyone, but apparently you come from somewhere a little different than most. To be honest with you, there is only one place in all of creation that I never really visit much. Too hot and too much screaming for my taste. I mean, you do seem vaguely familiar to me, but I just can’t quite pick where I know you from. So refresh my memory, yeah?” She pincers her lips tight to think for a moment. “Who are you again…? But more to the point, why the hell are you doing in this realm, flames get too much for you?”

@Doc Doctor

“Buzz Lightyear Junior, your daddy must be proud!” Dino Gavon sounding somehow impressed, though a flicker of bizarre concern could be seen in his eyes. There was something inexplicably off about this individual, though Dino couldn’t quite pick what it was. In any case, Dino didn’t really know where to take this conversation, but he had an idea, one that could possibly remove responsibility from himself while he took a few minutes to investigate the Station Hall further.

“I have a great idea!” Dino told him, while picking up his fancy gas mask from the floor and handing it to Buzz. “Put this on that big unsightly noggin of yours, and I’ll send you outside to meet with a few of my bridge officers. I’m sure hot lieutenant Shard would be happy to meet a savage like yourself!”

Once Donny puts the mask on, Dino taps out a few controls on his nifty little wrist gadget. A second later Donny is enveloped by downward traveling rings of cyan light before disappearing from inside the Station Hall. Outside, Donny reappears in the company of the three bridge officers who are startled by his unannounced arrival.

Lieutenant Shard screams, fearing that something terrible had happened to Dino Gavon, while science officer Madot raises his Quantum riffle to Donny’s head, and communications officer Cas opens up a channel to Dino Gavon inside the Hall.

“Admiral Gavon!” Cas yells into his wrist gadget, “Are you okay? An alien primitive has appeared in our company with your mask on, sir. He is very large and somewhat intimidating. Should we shoot him and take him back aboard the vessel for scientific study?”

“Don’t shoot him just yet,” Dino replies. His voice was broadcast so loud from Cas’s wrist gadget that everyone outside, including Donny, could hear him above the sound of the storm. “Quite frankly, Cas, he was giving me the heebie-jeebies, so I figured I’d palm him off to you. Keep the freak occupied, would you? His name is Buzz, by the way, Buzz Lightyear. If he gives you any trouble, then shoot him – but by NO circumstances will you let him aboard the Flagship! He was actually asking me for a job and a warm meal, can you believe that??”

“Understood, sir! Cas out, sir!”

Lieutenant Shard stopped screaming when she heard Dino’s on the com. Now, with the com link severed, she steps up close to Donny and smiles, though her smile can’t be seen behind her mask.

“Hai there, Buzz! I’m Lieutenant Shard!”

Science officer Madot keeps his rifle pointed at Donny’s head.

@Zyngard

Ten or so feet from Cuna is one of the hobo types resting against the wall of the Station Hall. He is obviously a junky of the lowest ranks with syringe track marks up his forearm, festering scabs in the crease of his elbow. He has dark sunken eyes, pallid skin, purple lips and body odor that could be clearly smelt from that distance. This man also caught Cuna’s attention with a shaky raise of one hand as he motions for Cuna to come closer.

“brotha….” He says, in a broken voice only just audible enough for Cuna to hear; “Gib meh a lil somfin, just a lil fix te hel meh sleep. Won ya do dat fo meh, brotha?”

@Dartbored Fairy

“Well isn’t that just the pip?”

The words were spoken by a young lady with shoulder length brown hair, green eyes, and dressed in a white lab coat, standing in the far corner of the room. She had a bottle of beer in one hand and a tube of ointment in the other. After catching Pirila and Mili’s attention, she raises the tube of unlabelled ointment between her finger and thumb while taking a quick swallow of her beverage.

“Here’s a little something that might help that nasty burn you have there on your neck, young lady.” She says, providing Mili a little wink. “And don’t you worry about that big bad man who attacked you in your sleep. He’s gone for now. But you’re wrong….” She says to Pirila, pausing to take a drink of her beverage, “That man was a monster alright, but he wasn’t a product of Mili’s eye. No mam.”

The young lady tosses the tube of ointment for Pirila to catch. She then looks around the room in what appears to be an impassive way before returning her attention to the two girls.

“Pardon my manners, ladies. Isn’t it just rude to enter someone’s private establishment without so much as an introduction? Shame on me….” She smiles candidly, and adds; “Names Fanny May. I guess you could say I’m a… freelance doctor type.” She then looks at the bandage on Mili’s neck. “Put some of that ointment on her burn. It might not get rid of that mark, but it will relieve the pain of the burn. As for that eye of yours, well, I’m sure glad I’m not prone to nightmares, Mili.”

Fanny has a small laugh and takes another sip of her beer.

-Donny took the mask and put it on. He figured it wasn't bulletproof, not when such an advanced race had interstellar flight, teleportation, and very likely energy weapons rather than kinetic ones. From behind the gas mask, Donny's eyes dully regarded the pattern and positioning Dino's finger took as it operated the teleportation device. At least he may be able to reach the proper interface to choose a point to teleport to. For Donny to have been born with an eidetic memory, whomever the bigwig in charge of making men was, he certainly had a bad sense of humor. As the light encircled him, he could feel the little black strings of fate tugging at his heart. He was still hungry, but a true professional can work on an empty stomach and a promise of good things to come. He slipped his hands into his pockets, put on a slouch, and smirked.

Two men and a female. One aims a gun. Donny is calm, he knows of this breed.

The one called Shard moved closer, and introduces herself.

To him there are only two species. Those that give you a chance and those that don't.

Donny introduces himself as well, because a reply is a natural thing and it humanizes the one you're pointing a weapon at, the conscience drags at the trigger finger.

Anyone who needs more than one chance is not deserving of another, and those who give a chance have their own taken away.

"Hello theyah missus Shard. I feel I oughtah tell yah thah truth. Admiral Gavin sahprised me with his frenetic demeanah, and Ah lied 'bout mah name to be careful. Do allow me tah intrahduce mahself for real. I am Marty. Marty McFly. And you sah, may I ask yah name?"

Donny gently half turned towards the man who wasn't aiming a gun at his head, looking inquisitive. Abruptly a muffled bark sounded out from Donny's overcoat. A small, smoking hole had been made in the side of the coat facing Madot, and Madot himself was liable to have a similar hole between his eyes, at an angle that'd carry the spiraling, fragmented shrapnel of the R.I.P bullet into his skull cavity, effectively shredding his brain and destroying his central nervous system before he could pull the trigger. Such a thing would drop him like a puppet with its strings cut. Donny's pockets had holes in them for a wider range of concealed motion, and he had turned from the one pointing the gun so they wouldn't see the blink-and-you'll-miss-it bend of his elbow until it was too late, his silenced Glock going off from within his coat, flattened across his torso with the bullet proof vest guarding his skin against the hot gas and carbon emitted by the chamber.

It looked like they needed to operate their devices to communicate. This would impede aiming, though their rifles weren't even at the ready. They'd have to choose between fighting or alerting Dino, but Donny supposed he should do his best to allow them neither. He didn't want that woman to scream as well, but some things are tough to remedy. He did not pause for thought after he shot at the man. Donny already knew what he was going to do.

Pirila couldn't believe what she was seeing as this... Fanny person started blabbering on about things that, truthfully, didn't make a lot of sense. She apparently knew a lot of things - she'd probably had been spying for a while and was trying to win her trust by spouting random nonsense.

Catching the tube of 'ointment' that Fanny threw at her, Pirila moved Mili to stand behind her. She didn't trust this woman, not one bit. Putting the ointment down on a nearby table, Pirila stepped forward to confront the intruder, making sure to keep Mili behind her.

"Look. I don't know how you got here, and I don't particularly care either. I don't take kindly to intruders, 'doctor' or not." Pirila said, rather irritated at the woman's sudden appearance. "Since you apparently understand the meaning of the word privacy, I'm going to kindly ask you to respect ours before we unkindly remove you from the premises."

A short distance away from the Phantom Point Station, further down the railway, stands a long silent train. Known before the apocalypse as the "Continental Comet", this former express train has not moved in ages. It stands silent and immobile, a relic of an age long past.

But that doesn't mean it's abandoned. For someone has turned it into their home. Nobody knows where she originally came from, but everyone nearby knows not to get close to the person who lives here, not after the first bandits that tried to raid the train were found dead, their mouths and noses sealed with their own skin. Most people knew from that moment on that it was probably better to not get close to the train, and the deaths of whoever has tried since are reason enough for raiders and bandits to avoid the place.

It is here where Hida lives, secluded from other people. A reclusive... person, Hida has turned the train into her own home, with the observation carriage (with it's glass dome) serving as her bedroom.

She wasn't the first person to live here, but because the previous inhabitants... vanished, Hida was the only one who lived here. And after killing a few intruders she also made sure that she'd be the only person who would dare even get close to her home.

Still, she set up shop in the train for a reason. After all, it was close to something that was rather... important to her.

She also wasn't the kind of person to remain at home at all times, she'd quite often go out and do things.

Today was no different.

-@Hokum & @Doc Doctor-

Hida coughed as the storm blew more ash into her face. She didn't have the same kind of immunity Pirila and Mili benefited from, but she was still immune to death by Ash. Still, being in an Ashstorm isn't a pleasant experience for her.

Having taken on the appearance of a black-haired girl in her late teens, Hida was on her way to the Phantom Point Station. Even though the storm was dying down and slowly making room for rain, the station was still one of the better places to be, especially when the weather wasn't great.

However, upon arrival at the station, she was met with an unusual sight. Outside the door were a group of people wearing masks. Though they were all wearing the same masks, one person looked different to the rest. Not only that, he appeared to have a gun pointed at his head. Was there a fight going to happen? This was interesting.

Climbing down from the rubble she was standing on, Hida makes her way to the group. She is about to raise her hand in greeting when the man wearing an overcoat seemingly shoots the man with the rifle, judging by the sound of a muffled gunshot.

Sighing, she takes a few cautious steps to the side as she watches the fight unfold.

@Hokum (And @CmdrAlfieq? I dunno if I need to mention you, so I will just to be safe)
As Ernest
"Impressive. You seem to have a complete understanding of my operating system." Ernest said to to Fanny May. "And no, I have not heard of this game 'Cat and Mouse', as I know neither of what those are. Do I need to?"

After he says that, the repair pod in a much quieter and more distorted voice (do to have smaller, lower-quality speakers): "Yes and no. You see, miss May, this Repair Pod is, for all intents and purposes, part of Ernest. Kinda like blood cells in humans.... they don't all have individual names, but they are basically part of that human. If that metaphor makes sense." As far as Ernest knows, Fanny May is a human.

Afterwards, that repair pod walks back through the door in came from.

The terminal reads:
1 INSTANCE(S) OF BEER SUCCESSFULLY DELIVERED TO USER "FANNY MAY".
TELEPORT SUCCESSFUL. LOCATION: UNKNOWN.
WARNING! ERNEST IS DANGEROUSLY CLOSE TO THREATENING INSTANCE "HANYS RIBBON".

SUCCESSFULLY TRANSMITTED FANNY MAY'S MESSAGE TO UNKNOWN INSTANCE "MASGC".

STORAGE ROOM DIAGNOSTICS SUCCESSFUL. NO PROBLEMS DETECTED.

I'd beg to differ Ernest thought to himself.

@Hokum (I should have something for you to decide this time... maybe?)
As Ramrod & Rodia (mostly Rodia TBH)
Ramrod and and Lars get to work studying the nearby area, seeing if there is any way to get a lot of metal quickly. They'll need around 1 to 3 tons of assorted metals, mostly steel (iron will do since they would be able to turn it into steel), copper, and aluminum. They'll also need significant amounts of other metals, most notably gold.

The first thing they check are the nearby planets and asteroids, to see if they can establish a mining operation. But their primary goal is to see if they can find someone to trade with, since that will probably result in getting metal faster.

Meanwhile, Rorod rushes over to the factory and bursts into the office of the head R-Core there. Rorod like bursting into offices.

Before Rorod can say anything, the Factory Head yells "Mr Rorod! It is good that you are here. Ramrod already told me about what happened with the metal shipment! It's awful!"

Rorod responds: "Yes, we need to slow down the production as fast as possible! I mean... slow it down as much as possible... as SOON as.... you know what I mean."

Factory Head: "Yes, I've already gotten started making a new schedule to try to delay the process, but some of the new cores have already started, but not finished. And even though they don't have personality chips yet, a few have started to activate. It's really not good for an unfinished R-Core to be activated..."

Rorod: "That may be bad, but an unfinished R-Core can survive a few days without their chips before they start taking irreversible damage. And their armor isn't as important either, they can go a week before they start taking damage from that. But anyway, first things first, we need to make sure no NEW cores get started until the metal shipment comes in..."

Rorod and the Factory Head start working on the new schedule.

Magnus
Thoroughly shook, Magnus looks up and sees Fanny leaving. He is both confused, aroused, and scared at the same time, but he doesn't have any time to think about it. The planet was dark and dismal and the air was so polluted he had to but his collar up to his mouth so he could breath. He looked around quickly and spotted out of the corner of his eye a Pineapple Ulysses 500. Magnus ran over to the ship and inspected it. The door was hanging open and the window had a hairline crack on it. He climbed in and closed the door. The inside was pitch black. Magnus looked to find some sort of generator or fuse box. Right next to him was a box shaped contraption bolted to the wall. He tried to open it, but the handle was somehow broken. He needed a light source somehow in order to figure out what was going on, so he reached into his chest and pulled out a match, lit it, and held it so he could see. It was faint, but he could see a small key under the box. He picked it up, and opened the box. Inside were, as expected, a bunch of fuses. Next to each was a label saying some sort of area. He flicked the one that said terminal room. The lights inside the room next to him turned on. He turned the match upside down, walked over to the terminal, and sat down.
"If my years working as a librarian taught me anything, it was how to fly a spaceship." Magnus started taking off when he noticed a marker labeled fuel was almost empty. If he needed to go anywhere, it was some sort of gas station. He activated the GPS module and started heading towards the nearest gas station. He's never heard of the place before, but he was going to it anyways.

Gillian Reed sits in her office, trying to call her son, Grayson. Suddenly, head designer Okin Blyatt, a man of considerable age and height, and looks as though a giant egg with huge lips and eyes were resting upon a nest of beard. He storms up to her desk and reveals a set of papers.
"Mrs. Reed?" He asks in a hefty voice. "The department finished the construction on the new Solon model. Do you want to see what they done?" he says nervously.
"No, Okin. Just go down to Henrietta for Quality Control. I'm very busy right now." She replies. Okin storms of the room again and closes the door behind him. She looks at her phone, still with no response. She decided to give up and places her phone calmly on her desk. She gets out of her chair and stands by the large windows behind her desk. She folds her hands behind her back and sighs as she looks into space.

The operators at the Space Headquarters of Command Section A transmitted to the commander for a briefing about an Unknown Encounters and Hany's Ribbon

Commander of HQ: "What is the meaning of this predicament and daring intrusion from this anomaly?!"

Operator: "With a few evidences from our detecting equipment and with a sudden apparent from someone that we haven't known, we can press into our conclusion that we're currently under threatened by somebody with a first-handed, impending planetary attack that we're unable to identified."

Commander of HQ: "Well great! The first sign of hostility in just after a few weeks of operations! What's next? Space wizards prophecy of Wololonism came to announce that we're already screwed? If they did, then they're absolutely right!"

Operator: "Errr.. It would've been a best to make our first move to negotiate or something commander? We don't have much of an option besides few other things."

Commander: "Gssszzz... Fine.. Tell that space alien to explain that if itself was right about being vaporized by the Harrison flying thingy when we do stay put, then said space alien must come forth and aid the whole planetary relocation and resource sustainable efforts if we want to move out efficiently. We can't just simply pack ourselves up and leave like that! That is a highly dishonorable act for letting the person at the hotseat, eating popcorn while we just magically disappeared because that person at the hotseat said merely words that the threats are coming without giving a damn if we get to live or not! If that alien was really telling the truth, then he must come to my space headquarters in person, not standing there and watching us disintegrate!"

Operator: "Whatever you said sir. I'll proceed the message now."

At the communication to Fanny:
"This is the operator of the Command Section A of the MASGC Space Headquarters.. The commander is not amused by your sudden presence, and he's wishes you to come in his Space Headquarters for further questioning about ones anomaly called Hany's Ribbon. Failure to looking forward with the commander in person will be branded you as a cowardice insolent by our vision. You'll have less than a day to accomplish this as because what you said, the destruction of the planet Iceolia will be imminent."
