So Cycle 4 took a lot longer than I first thought, plus with Exams, Work and life being a general bitch, I couldn't help push things faster. I don't mind slowing the pace down for those who struggle to get online or to post, so long as everyone is happy with it. So I wouldn't mind hearing your views on that.
Cycle 5 takes us to the prelude to the Guild attack, and Bar a few posts, I think alot of us went ahead and drafted out cycle 5 posts, so I am hoping to speed this one up. I am hoping that we can get this cycle finished by August 3rd. This cycle is alot more freefrom like cycle 4, so if you have any issues coming up with Idea,s please just let me know. Don't go quiet and post anything. If people are going to start post dodging, i am going to have to start enforcing post timers. (I really cant be evil)

Personality: Benjamin is accustomed to working alone - Not everyone in the Guild is accepting of his ruthlessness which at times borders on excessive, nor does everyone view his work as righteous. Ergo he tends to be seen as a cruel individual who acts mercilessly to uphold Guild law although nobody can call his conviction into question, and how he is able to keep up with his tasks as a leader yet be away so often is a mystery to many. The only person he truly cares about is his sister, although they aren't on speaking term he would likely kill for her.
History/Bio: Born and raised in Chile till he was eleven. Once Benjamin's powers began to emerge he was taught the magic of his family though his single mother alongside his year-younger sister Emilia. Most importantly they were taught about the Guild and how the organisation protected people like their family, the duo were awestruck over the idea of such a powerful group and what it stood for. Thanks to the earning of their mother the duo were brought up in a relatively safe environment, not having to turn to criminals or the underworld to protect themselves the family grew up relatively innocent for the first ten years. Then the mother's employees commanded her over to work indefinitely overseas in the US. The family moved and grew accustomed to their new home and life - The children learned English and Benjamin's mother continued to train them in magic throughout the years as she juggled her personal life and the increasing strain of her work.
Benjamin was sixteen when his mother died. A botched burglary and a woman in the wrong place at the wrong time. It wasn't a targeted attack by a rogue magi, his mother died like any other mortal, though Benjamin didn't care about that fact. He couldn't believe that the Guild hadn't protected his mother. Logic be damned. To him it didn't matter if they couldn't, if they couldn't protect her then they weren't doing their damn job. They weren't following their own rules and laws. That was the only possibility in Ben's eyes and he was going to make sure that from now on they would. He'd make sure of it even if he had to deliver judgement himself. Ben and his sister were recruited and moved into the Guild headquarters.
While Emilia dealt with her loss with friendships Benjamin used his pain as a foci, he studied books from cover to end - memorising any and all laws that he could. Although the attack on the Guild by the Dark Shadow occurred a few years ago there was still an amount of somber and stress, as such Ben struggled to find a proper teacher. That was no matter to him, if he couldn't find anyone to train him then he would do what he could. For the first year within the guild he conditioned himself, training his body's strength and endurance in an attempt to compensate for his lack of martial training. The year after he finally received a teacher and began to train in the art of fighting.
By eighteen he became a member of the Guild and as such was sent on missions from higher-ups. At this point his ruthlessness was revealed, few missions ended in failure although Ben's limited extent of training meant that during the first few months he often returned bleeding or injured in some other way which caused some to speculate if he was ready for his position. If it wasn't for his animalistic endurance that they saw then perhaps they would have pulled him off of missions. The higher-ups never truly punished Ben for his sprees of violence. Even if Ben never left hotels smeared with blood or alleyways littered with corpses He often returned with one or two broken bodies - the corpses of those who refused to surrender to Ben and his one chance policy. Ben's notoriety spread, his own sister began to avoid him and although torn he knew he couldn't stop, nobody else was willing to uphold the laws. As the months went by Ben became much more efficient, returning with severe injuries less frequently than when he started. After two more years - at twenty - he must have impressed someone pretty high on the ladder with his effectiveness. He was promoted to Captain although he took this as an opportunity to choose his own hits, or "hunts" as he calls them. Even if he now has responsibilities he refuses to leave the field, much like how he refuses teammates to work alongside in his own missions, even though fieldwork can keep Ben away from the Guild office for weeks if not months. In all this time Ben still prefers missions involving the apprehension of magi or criminals, if he can stop them then he could be protecting others from such people. It's okay though. He only kills criminals, they're bound to break the law at some point....

Location of Birthmark: Inner forearm Magical Abilities: Regokinesis - Aram is adept at manipulating vectors, meaning he can change the direction, momentum, and magnitude of movement via force of will. This ability has powerful applications, but in turn the range is short, and he can only control so many vectors at one time(the most so far he's managed is four). It's also taxing to hold prolonged vectors, depending on the opposition. -Effects Aram has explored well so far: ○ Changing directions of movement ○ Accelerating/Decelerating speeds of movement -Effects Aram is attempting to train: ○ Manipulation at a distance of more than six feet ○ Maintaining momentum ○ Prolonged manipulation
Naturally, it is much easier for him to manipulate vectors that are close to him- and as such, he can produce an effect from his palms similar to an extremely repulsive field, which violently deflects entities that move against it. He is capable of manipulating vectors within about six feet with ease, but after that distance, his capabilities heavily drop off naturally. He is attempting to remedy this with training.

Aram's mannerisms are definitely unique. For one- he's confident to a fault. And for two, well...he's 'extravagant'. He speaks in a dialect reminiscent of 1950's American Mafia. Weird, right? There's surely some reason for this, but not many people know of it. Even in times of complete seriousness- his odd persona doesn't let up.
History/Bio: Aram comes from a long family line of Dark Shadow followers. One ambitious generation after the rest- all sour at what had been done to their kind in the past. In truth, his line had been on humanity's side in the Guild vs. Corpus opposition. But after the Mages had been purged without impunity, without consideration for individual ideals, they turned against the Non-magi. It didn't get them far. But the Secrues were never a large family to begin with. And now that their numbers are wearing thin, Aram is taking initiative to leave a legacy. He has to leave his mark on this world somehow.

The history part is just a little something I thought up that I think could stir the pot of trust a little if anyone in the guild found out that most(all) of his family was siding for 'the darkside'. Most if not all of this stuff is flexible, so very happy to clarify on anything if needed. ^^

Magical Abilities: Allison can create/shape/manipulate sound and sound waves in varying techniques, such as; mimicing, intensifying, hushing, distorting, warping, strengthening, echoing, speeding up, and slowing down.
Place of Birth: Manhattan, New York Currently Residing: Manhattan, New York Personality: Through some harsh experiences in her life, Allison has grown to become bitter and closed off. Although deep down she is still a sweet, kind hearted person, there are very few people who know that side of her. To everyone else she is a cynical, sarcastic, quick tempered bitch, who has a very low tolerance for stupid people, and an affinity for sour watermelon flavored lollipops. History/Bio: Allison was very much an outcast amongst the children of the Guild's different families. Mostly due to the fact that her family were seen as weak and expendable. The Grey family weren't known for producing strong mages, and they held no influence inside or outside of the Guild's ranks. So despite having the potential to be a strong mage -which was rare in her family- she was often ridiculed and shunned because of the name she carried. The only people who treated her with any kindness were Salem and Aliira. While she was with them she was safe from the harrassent of the other children, which allowed her to grow into a sweet, fun loving child. This all changed when she turned thirteen and went through her innitiation into the Guild. Although she passed the tests with flying colors, and amazed them all with her power, she knew she would never be treated with the same respect that any of the other innitiates had. That was also around the time Salem and Aliira began to drift away from her. Salem had to prepare to become a future leader, and wherever she went, Aliira followed. On top of that, her mother had fallen ill. As time passed her mother's health deteriorated, until she eventually passed. Allison didn't have anyone she could rely on to help her get through it, and as she was still dealing with trying to prove herself as an equal to her peers, the stress became too much and sent her flying off the rails. She became quite the nuiseance, causing all sorts of trouble and damaging her family name even more. Eventually Salem was given the task of reigning her in, since they had history together as friends, it was assumed she would be the best one for the task. Although deep down Allison held some resentment for the other female for abandoning her, she also understood that Salem had a lot of responsibility being a De Silva, and still considered her a friend, so for her sake she did as she was told. She refocussed herself and put her energy into her training. Though it wasn't easy, she found that if she worked hard she could repair the damage she had done to her family'ss already poor reputation, and became determined to make something of herself and to change her family name from a joke to something that could be respected. The next few years of her life were difficult but rewarding, by the time she turned eighteen she was well on her way to being promoted to Captain, which wasn't something to be expected from someone of her age or family status. Of course the progress she made came under threat of being tarnished when Dark Shadow attacked the Guild. A lot of people were killed on both sides, including some of Allison's family. She continued to surprise her fellow members, however, when instead of slipping back to her trouble making ways again, she became even more determined. Driven by the ridicule -and her new found hatred for the one by the name of Aloysius Leighton- Allison went on to become Captain, and then a few years later; rose again to the rank of Lieutenant. Her new role served to gain her a lot of respect from the other members, as well as reunite her with old friends; Salem and Aliira once again. Though her life experiences had twisted her to become cynical and untrusting, and she could never go back to the sweet, fun loving child she once was, she did find happiness in her role, and was able to let go of a lot of the bitterness she held towards those who had once ridiculed her.
