Personality: Being a pompous prick to women, having the feeling of entitlement due to his riches, sacrificing humans by any means in exchange for replicating magical energy in his workshop, disappointed that his servant is incapable of summoning a dragon under his irrational whim and calls her a 'vixen' in result of caster's retaliation towards him causing him his untimely death, this was not the vile man in this alternate universe.
On the contrary, Atrum in this timeline is a decent human being, well almost to say the least..he still as an ego that won't quit, self-proclaiming himself a genius or a "scientific prodigy" when successfully manufacturing a discovery. An alchemist who strays away from human sacrifice and instead devote his studies to the field of a meteorologist, using natural resources and human engineer to advance his magecraft.
Abilities: He is capable of weather-manipulation magecraft such as firing bolts of lightning during combat and performing much lengthier rituals in order to cause more large-scale weather changes. However, it is noted that his methods for performing such feats are not particularly efficient.
He has mystic codes to help him out to compensate for what he is lacking in mage craft:
Fire mittens and The Rod of Thunder: A mitten and a piece of stick that Atrum use to project his magecraft, mainly producing firebolts and lightning. With the snap of his fingers, these mystic codes generates and fires the designated element he requires in such circumstances.
Shades of collective memory: A mystic code in a form of an advanced state of the art shades that protects his eyes and has the ability to collect data from various resources, it can analyze the person, any object, or its surroundings down to his basic component and stores it in his database for 'research purposes'.
Cape of Protection: An insulation device that protects its user from sudden electrocution, the harsh breeze of a winter's embrace or the scorching heat of the Sahara, Perfect for conducting and tempering with the volatile elements such fire and lightning in his experiments and as well as in form of combat.
Brief Backstory: Atrum's family being newly established in the Mage's Association caused him to seek out prestige by winning the Holy Grail War. Like Bazett Fraga McRemitz, he was one of the magi backed by the power of the Association. Being new to the game, he has to compensate on what he is lacking in the form of the latest tech and the innovation of science.
Name: Gudrun(Kreimhild), the Shinning One; Queen of Hunland Faction: Red Class: Caster Attribute: Earth Alignment: Neutral Good
Personality:
A woman who experienced a terrible life full of tragedy, death, and near constant betrayal. Under any other class, her personality would certainly be much more dark and somber. However as Caster, it is the Gudrun who found peace during her several year tenure in Daneland. During that period, she distracted herself by creating a grand tapestry describing the past, present, and future of the Volsungs. In other words, she focused on her magecraft and found fulfillment within it. Caster truly gives herself over to the advancement of magecraft, finding comfort in a beneficial distraction. However, if she were a scientist instead of a magus, the moniker 'mad scientist' would be more than apt.
Regardless, the mental and emotional damage from her life is still manifested within her personality. Despite outward appearances, she still has a very alien mindset. Called "pure" by Brynhildr, this assessment isn't wrong at all. Internally she can very easily become envious or jealous. Her outward personality is vastly different from her feelings and true self bubbling under the surface- which is full of pain, despair, and malice. If these feelings reach a certain point, the result would be terrible- her story is that of a dark avenger, after all.
Caster is still a shield maiden who fights on the "frontline". In spite of the class container, she is still the Gudrun who will go on to oppose "even Attila" in open combat. Perhaps given her (relative)lack of burdens, the reasons for this will be more positive. Caster admires Heroes, seeing both her family and Sigurd within them. Without any hesitation, Gudrun takes up arms for what she sees as 'Justice', and what is 'right'. However, don't be fooled-

Territory Creation: D Ability to create a territory advantageous to oneself as a magus. Because of her lifestyle the rank is excessively low. In Casters case the territory she creates is almost exclusively for item manufacturing. However in conjunction with the Noble Phantasm, it is possible to create a space favorable to 'Dragons'.
Item Creation: A+ Ability to create tools having magic power. As one of the main uses of this, there is the creation of Mystic Codes. Caster has numerous anecdotes of tool creation, gaining it at the highest rank. Among even Casters, she could be considered a special sort of genius. A witch who crafted tapestries foretelling the end of the Burgandians, armaments invulnerable to weapons, and various other powerful trinkets. Casters true talent lies within potions and various other tinctures. It could be said that her love potion(memory potion) guaranteed the various tragedies that took place within the later Volsunga saga.
Personal Skills
Seidr: B The ancient system of the shamans and seers of Northen Europe, the Volva. In comparison to Runes, this thaumaturgy descends from the Great Mother Freya, making use of chants(Galdr). The owner of this Skill is given a plus modifier towards checks related to divination(precognition).
Primordial Rune: B Possession of runes - the magic crest of Northern Europe. Caster has the capacity to use the 18 primal Runes discovered by Odin. By making proper use of this ability, powerful and varied effects are mastered. Her husband was granted the original runes by "that" woman, and Gudrun made use of them to warn the Niflungs of Atli's trap.
Crystallized Wisdom: A+ The wisdom gained from consuming the heart of a Dragon crystallized as glasses. Originally, a magical equipment that shouldn't exist in mythology. Even if another individual uses it, due to the enormous amount of information, a severe headache would occur. It is a skill that is most suited for the Caster class in particular. Gudrun foresaw the rise and fall of the "King of Warriors" Sigurd- that natural aptitude as a Prophetess has manifested within this skill.
Andvaranaut Cursed Yield of Andvari Rank: C Type: Anti-Army Appearance: A flawless golden ring with such luster that it truly embodies the concept of wealth itself.
The cursed Rheingold contained within the form of a ring- in other words, the physical embodiment of the unending wealth of Fafnir's horde. It was a ring coveted by the Gods, Giants, and Dwarves until mortal heroes found it in their hands. Its true capacity is to create or amplify 'wealth' without limit. Andvaranaut was Sigurd's bridal gift to Gudrun, alongside the heart(wisdom) of Fafnir. Simply put, it is Gudruns wedding ring- to her, it has meaning beyond just its material value.
Within the context of a Holy Grail War, it is used to produce volumes of treasure(resources) useful for Item Creation. With this function in mind, it can even be used to gain access to precious metals unavailable to the modern world. Because it has authority over "wealth" itself, even something like modern money can be gained or amplified. Not only that, it is an excellent storage tool for 'treasure' as well.
With true name invocation, the event of distracting Atli's massive court with gold is replicated. Cursed treasure streams forth from above, drowning Gudrun's target(s) under endless 'wealth'. It can be manipulated to focus on a large area, or directed toward just a single target. The Noble Phantasm's rank is the damage value inflicted by this rain of gold. Per legend, the true intent of such an attack isn't necessarily damage, but 'pinning' the opponent.
The owner always has LCK at rank-down. Not only that, but LCK cannot be raised under any circumstance. One cannot forget that it is Gold that was cursed by the Gods, Dwarves, and Giants who desired it.
However. . .
From the lunatic perspective of Gudrun, even those terrible curses are a 'resource' to be exploited for Item Creation.
AuĂ°un Gram Heaven's Ruinous Dusk Rank: A+ Type: Anti-Fortress Appearance: A hybrid between a norse styled sword and a magical stave.
The greatest demonic sword, "Gram". The weapon of the great Norse Knight who was said to be the equal of a certain British King.
A weapon borrowed from her husband, and perhaps used by Gudrun to kill King Atli in the climax of Volsunga. It has been modified to be more suitable for a "Caster". Typically she stores it within Andvaranaut until it's needed. While it is still functional as a melee weapon, she typically uses it in conjunction with her magecraft as a amplification device for curses.
When its true name is invoked, the full power of Gram will be demonstrated. Using her wedding ring as a power source, Caster uses Gram's capacity as the Demonic Sword of Ruin to amplify its curses. Suspending Gram within magic circles as the central component of something like an Ether Cannon, Grams attribute of "Ruin" is pushed to the limit. A great curse taking the form of flares from the sun are released on the target, bringing calamity and ruin on whatever is reached. These can be released in a multitude of 'flares' or a singular massive one. It is a strike that burns away the world, leaving nothing but accursed land abandoned by the Gods.
Embodying a dolorous stroke which brings a great cycle to its close- the beginning and end of the Volsunga saga is demonstrated through the combined power of Andvaranaut and Gram. This is a conceptualization enforcing the end of the Hero-Race of Niflungs, as well as Atli himself. In other words, the strike that smote both Atli and his Hunnic Empire.
Gudrun's compatibility with the "Sword of the Sun" is high, which is no oddity given her epithet as "The Shinning One". Even still, it is an unwieldy attack and not normally useful in a personal duel. It is best used against enemy Noble Phantasms or static opponents under normal circumstances.
As an aside, within the Ring Cycle, the story of the Burgandians and Sigurd runs parallel to the Twilight of the Gods and the beginning of Ragnarok. As the cycle and story of the Niflungs ends, so too does the story(authority) of the Gods.
Folded Grimhild into Gudrun per Fragments. Tried to synchronize some of Gudrun and Kriemhildes elements.
Personality: It can be said that, in some ways, Assassin is somewhat contradictory. She appears pure and innocent, desiring simply to feel the love of a Mother. And yet she is a remorseless killer who does not hesitate to strike. She appears naive and childish, but is quick-thinking and remarkably intelligent. Regardless, it is immediately obvious on her summoning that Assassin attaches herself to her Master, especially if they are female, like glue. She desires to be praised, to be treated with affection by her Master. Indeed, female Masters are referred to exclusively as Mother by the young girl. When she is treated kindly, her behavior will reflect this treatment and she will happily return kindness both to her Master and to others. Cruel treatment will slowly damage her psyche. Beyond these traits, Assassin is almost desperate when it comes to food, and while she is incredibly affectionate towards her Master she will be nervous and uncertain about being touched to begin with. Additionally, while she can show cheerful behavior, she is prone to depressive moments, as well as a shyer side. Loud or overly crowded situations will leave her likely to attempt to conceal herself behind her Master. Still, while one side of her appears to be an innocent girl, the other side of her is hardly hidden. Assassin has absolutely no hesitation when it comes to the matter of killing, and will even ask her Master if it is acceptable to kill any given target she chooses. She is, after all, a serial killer right out of legend.

Personal Skills:
Murderer of the Misty Night: A. Assassin possesses the capacity to strike opponents while they are unguarded. This becomes uncontested as long as it is night.
Mental Pollution: C. Due to the horrible conditions of her life, Assassin's psyche is fractured, rendering it difficult to effect her mind via magecraft. If Assassin is treated with cruelty, this skill will increase in rank, but her mind will become completely shattered. However, positive treatment will cause this skill to become inert.
Information Erasure: B. A undiscovered killer in life, this trait manifests as a skill that causes all traces of Assassin to be wiped away at the conclusion of an engagement. Even memories of her presence are lost, and images captured on recordings vanish. However, physical signs of the encounter still remain.
Surgical Procedure: E. An inexplicable capability demonstrated by the surgical precision with which Assassin's victims were dissected, Assassin is capable of performing surgery in order to heal herself and others. In spite of the unreliable appearance of the procedure and its aftermath, even severed limbs can be repaired to proper functionality.
Noble Phantasm(s):
Name: Maria the Ripper: The Holy Mother of Dismemberment
Rank: D~B
Type: Anti-Unit
Appearance: The four oddly-shaped knives utilized by Assassin.
Effects: A curse fueled by the rage of the hundreds of thousands of angry phantoms inhabiting Assassin's body, resulting in a conditional instant kill upon her target. Physical defense is completely impossible, but conceptual defenses or a resistance to curses may allow survival. Upon the invocation of this Noble Phantasm, a check is performed to confirm three conditions. First, if it is night. Then, if it is foggy. Finally, if the target is female. If all three of these conditions are met, the four knives utilized by Assassin materialize inside the target's body before carving their way back out, pulling out the target's internal organs with them. Through this manner, any victim of Assassin's Noble Phantasm is unquestionably transformed into an eviscerated corpse. However, this requires a fulfillment of all three conditions and no resistance to curses. In spite of this, even if these conditions are not met, the curse still inflicts internal damage as the knives appear inside the victim and cut away at their internal organs. It will simply fail to to actually kill them, instead leaving them with violent, but nonlethal, internal injury. However, if none of the conditions are met, the curse will fail to activate.
Name: The Mist: Darkened Misty Metropolis
Rank: C
Type: Bounded Field
Appearance: A mist that pours from an antique candlelit lantern.
Effects: The embodiment of the choking mist that filled the streets of London during Assassin's lifetime, The Mist is a bounded field that inflicts a poisonous effect upon all who become trapped within it. In spite of this, Assassin is capable of designating targets within The Mist to remain unaffected. Simply opening the lantern and touching the candle inside causes this Noble Phantasm to activate. Those who do not receive this protection are afflicted differently depending on their nature. A mundane human will choke on The Mist, weaken, and die in a relatively short period of time as the caustic fog burns their throat and eyes and renders it impossible for them to breath. A magus will resist the effects for somewhat longer, but they will eventually perish as well from taking a continuous assault on their body if they do not swiftly take countermeasures. Servants, however, will not take any damage from The Mist and instead will receive a rank down in agility. By utilizing The Mist, Assassin can fulfill one condition of Maria the Ripper, as well as disable targets in order to selectively kill them. Even against enemy Servants, The Mist allows her to gain an advantage in the form of surprise and her own unaffected Agility parameter.
Personality: Though trying to maintain a cool, collected air--something that, admittedly, Astra has no trouble with when working--she's not so good at that in social settings, being quite easily irritated and hard to get along with. It's really not a good idea to ask about her family.
Skills: Capable of functioning in modern society, even if she lacks any interest in modern technology, and skilled in actual fighting despite being a magus--mostly with knives, though she isn't inept at fighting completely unarmed.
Abilities: Coming from a comparatively recent lineage of magi, her family really started to find its feet during the light eighteenth century and, not steeped in the centuries of mystery of other magical families, took a particular interest in this new-fangled electricity thing that was all the rage at the time, mostly for its applications in "hmm, can we use this to create life?" and bio-electricity, but its mechanical uses were of course considered in the process. Not that their wayward scion cares for any of this, save for having a magical circuit with more varied uses for the substance than is immediately apparent. Mostly she focuses on the more direct applications: electric shocks, creating magnetic fields to shoot knives at people (or smaller items if she's out of sharp pointy things), and interacting with mundane technology only in the "okay, stop working now" sense. Though she can control people via direct nerve signals. More general magecraft talents such as reinforcement are also part of Astra's repertoire, and she's gotten a lot of practice at dealing with bounded fields. Still, by the standards of magi, she's pretty third-rate.
Brief Backstory: Astra deliberately keeps her family background under wraps, seeming quite ashamed of it--whatever happened to them happened when she was pretty young, before she was fully taught, and she ended up taking what talents she had and applying them as a mage killer for the Association. Still, it's clear she was raised as the child of a magus; she might hang around in the modern world a lot and play with electricity, but she doesn't get beyond "barely functional" at using tech. Her motivation to be in the war is greed, pure and simple. The Tohsaka needed Masters in a hurry, after all.
