Finally a post I can be somewhat happy with. Needless to say things are heating up folks!

@Lord Zee - Since Anu'Varr is starting to try and approach the spire this is a good time to note some of the more extreme changes one can undergo via exposure to the aura.

As she approaches her divine essence will be suffused with the divine essence of fear. This will in effect weaken her connection to her own domain while her Divine Cord absorbs the domain emitted from the power of the twin strands. If she comes close enough to the beams or spends long enough near the spire her Divine Cord will lose her domain in it's entirety as it'll be overwritten by the domain of the aura. She will be changed from a goddess of Devilry to a goddess of Fear, losing all connection and influence over the former and gaining dominion over the latter. While all her creations will remain she will lose all connection to them since the power they were created with will no longer be hers to command.

The gods however aren't wholly aware of this yet. It's just a note of caution for those interested in having their deity brave the spire.

@A Lowly Wretch I feel I'm missing something here. I was under the impression God's could take multiple domains? You even have it as a rule, unless I am misreading something.

All beings imbued with Divine Cords are, amongst many things, granted everlasting life. Such beings can be killed but so long as their Divine Cords are safe their physical form will regrow around them. This period of regrowth takes a long time however and leaves the destroyed being vulnerable. Divine Cords cannot be destroyed but they can be fused with existing Divine Cords. In order for Cords to be fused the owner of the Divine Cords must have their physical form destroyed before someone else who is intact can fuse it with their own. Once fused the owner of the combined Divine Cords will possess both their own domain and the domains of those who's cords have been taken and fused to their own. Once a Divine Cord has been fused to someone else's the former owner will no longer regrow as they will have become part of the new owner of their Divine Cords.

Unless this only applies to killing other Gods? Still, I feel like this information is somewhat critical to know before going into it.

@Lord Zee - It is entirely possible to accrue additional domains through additional Divine Cords both found and stolen from fellow gods. This, however, is not a cord. Not specifically.

More shall be made clear in future developments of this scenario. I've simply issued a warning OOC-wise for those to avoid an unintentional change to their gods for fairness's sake.

I do have my reasons for only revealing as much as is required to learn before it's revealed IC.

Hyperion's scouts are going to find her. Or if anything, Hyperion himself could sense her presence nearby and command her to step down? What do you think?

I hope I did fine with this post. Hyperion doesn't want to fight, but if he must, he shall not be holding back.

@Lmpkio - A mistake or two to note is that the spire is several miles away from North Crown and Oao was speaking barely louder than a whisper when she addressed the droves of wild animals driven into her region. She had dissolved the larger form and had created a much smaller one just opposite of Hyperion across the crater which is hiding while it watches the spire's progress. While it may have been feasible for him to see her far off before she dissolved that body I highly doubt he'd of heard her.

I didn't find room at that moment within my post to properly put you in, so I simply got rid of it altogether.

However, I was simply thinking that I could add Anu into the picture in the first act with the two Angels. After their thing with Nawsaru they hear some intense laughter and see Anu laughing and looking all creepy. They report it to Hyperion just before Oao unleashes more of her aura.

I don't know what else to put regarding Anu because of Hyperion's involvement with Oao to simply put it. What do you think?

@Lmpkio Eh don't worry about it right now. I'm thinking of something to get Anu's attention away from the spire, probably another wave of Fear really hammering into her again, which will stop her from loosing Devilry. When I'm done with that, I will probably move her away from the area, but still have her there to figure out what's going on, if you want the two Angels to see her.

@Lord Zee - Ragnagedon may soon arrive at the Spire. To put it simply, he'll aim to destroy it. Maybe that would give Anu a wake up call? But I can only write that when Dirka finishes her business with the fire god.
