Stands are, in essence, the equivalent of psychic powers in the world of Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure, entities which “stand by” their user, either literally or otherwise, in humanoid and non-humanoid forms, or even bound to physical objects. Not everyone can develop a Stand, as most lack the strength of will to control one, and each Stand user can only possess a single Stand, but they are rather potent: only Stand users can see Stands, only Stands can harm Stands, and each typically possesses physical abilities beyond what the user themselves bears, not to mention powers unique to the user, ranging from those as simple as transformation into string or manipulation of the elements, to the more complex abilities such as enhancing one’s own abilities in some way, to more abstract control over the world and its constants, and occasionally interacting with the fabric of space-time or even fate itself.
However, not everything is peaches and cream. Most Stands, with few exceptions, need to be directly controlled or given orders by their user in some way or another, can only be in one place at a time, and any damage a Stand takes directly correlates to damage taken by the user and vice versa. In other words, a user’s death or unconsciousness will result in their Stand dissipating, whilst a Stand’s destruction will kill the user accordingly. Equally, plenty of Stands may or may not appear to perfectly follow some of these rules, though most will adhere to them unless their power somehow affects their interaction with the world.

Name: The character’s name, typically derived from one or more famous singers, bands, or other sources of significance. As a rule, I don’t intend to allow players to derive their character from significant bloodlines in canon; if you’re that desperate to show off a Joestar or Zeppeli or what have you, PM me so that I can discuss it with you.

Gender: The character’s birth sex. Sexuality and self-perceived gender are separate matters; discuss these in their personality.

Age: The character’s age. Simple enough.

Stand: The name of the character’s Stand, if they have one. Be aware that you don’t need to give your character a Stand at all, though they will be aware of the existence of the supernatural either way, and will have the potential to develop a Stand later on nonetheless - write down “N/A” if this is the case. Despite the disadvantages against them, it is entirely possible for a perfectly normal human to defeat most Stand users with the right mix of technical skill and planning ahead.

Appearance: Describe the character’s physical appearance, including their height and build and their clothing, which should of course be suitably fabulous. Note that despite the game being set in the United States of America, there is no requirement that your characters be American by nationality; Stand powers don’t discriminate by race, after all.

Personality: Describe the character’s personality, including any quirks they exhibit and philosophies they live by. Again, here’s the place to discuss the character’s sexuality and gender, as well as any other aspects of their persona they may or may not consider important, such as likes and dislikes, religion, political stance, mental illnesses and psychological conditions, hopes and fears, and even prejudices - assuming any given topic is pertinent, of course.

Skills: Mundane physical and mental skills your character possesses, like knitting, jogging, boxing, speed-reading, cooking, or observation. This section also covers supernatural powers they possess that are not Stands, which don’t specifically have to be derived from what is known to be canonical; to wit, whilst I won’t deny anything like vampirism, the Spin, or the Ripple “just because”, do discuss these and any other supernatural abilities with me if you want to include them.

History: Write down the character’s backstory here, including significant past events. A minimum of two or three decently-sized paragraphs would be appreciated; otherwise, feel free to be as brief or as detailed with it as you like.

Other: Anything else that may optionally be worth noting about the character, including what their name references.

Stand Name: The Stand’s name, typically derived from a famous band, album, or song, which frequently also has a significant relation to the user’s personality and/or history through the name or lyrics happening to describe them, rather than as a direct part of their life experiences; feel free to encase the name in 「hook brackets」 or not at your leisure.

Stand Parameters: The Stand’s stat layout, with C representing roughly human ability in that area. There are no ranks beyond A or E, respectively the strongest and weakest a parameter can get, and I won’t be allowing ranks of None or Infinite. Other than this, a reasonably balanced layout would be preferable; explanations for the Stand’s parameter layout are optional, though I reserve the right to ask for an explanation if I feel it is appropriate or necessary.
Power: A-E. A.K.A. Destructive Power. Represents a Stand’s potential to deal damage and cause destruction, either through their direct strength or their ability. Note that a low-Power Stand is not necessarily ineffective in a battle, merely unlikely to cause large amounts of physical harm to a target or to the user’s surroundings on its own.
Speed: A-E. Represents how fast a Stand can move and react, and occasionally how quickly their ability takes effect. A low-Speed Stand may not literally have less speed that the average human, but will nonetheless have difficulty in acting quickly somehow, such as changing its physical momentum or accounting for a change in situation.
Range: A-E. Represents a combination of the range of a Stand’s manifestation area, ability influence, and spatial mobility. Typically, but not always, inversely proportional to Power - generally speaking, a low-Range Stand might only act within as little as a couple of meters of the user before losing power exponentially, whilst a high-Range Stand might be able to function hundreds or even thousands of meters away from the user without any loss in effectiveness at all.
Staying: A-E. A.K.A. Durability. Represents a combination of a Stand’s physical durability, susceptibility to damage and attacks, and its drain on the user’s stamina if relevant. For reference, most Stands that lack a body or are bound to the user or another object will have an A rank in Staying, representing the strength of their binding to the appropriate canvas.
Precision: A-E. Represents a Stand’s physical accuracy and focus, as well as how effective their abilities are against specific targets rather than groups. A low-Precision Stand may or may not be good at targeting crowds, but will likely lack the ability to strike a particular point or utilise its ability on the same target repeatedly nonetheless, and it will have trouble with agility too if its Speed or Range are also low.
Learning: A-E. A.K.A. Developmental Potential. Represents a Stand’s ability to improve its current parameters and abilities, as well as its potential to develop new abilities with practice. Generally speaking, this has some connection to the user’s own mentality to a greater extent than other parameters: low-Learning Stands have either discovered most or all of their potential via the user’s own experience and training, or simply couldn’t make much or any extra progress to begin with, often but not always as a result of how the user’s psyche functions.

Stand Description: Describe the Stand’s appearance and personality (if any) here, including any physical quirks it might have, and how much independence and self awareness it has. Most Stands lack their own personality, being adept representations of the user’s psyche already, but some situations can lead a Stand to be more of an individual than usual; if you’re unsure, feel free to ask me about it.

Power Description: Describe the ability of the Stand as completely as possible, including an example of how its power may function against its intended targets and its weaknesses. Bear in mind that whilst exceptionally powerful abilities will be vetoed outright, most battles in JJBA are decided based on who is the more creative fighter, and thus I am more likely to allow powers with many creative uses. You may also name the ability itself if you so choose, with or without 「hook brackets」 encasing it.

Appearance: Leonard is a fitness freak and it shows. His 6’4” frame is heavily built with muscle and tone. He resembles a box or a barrel in his proportions, well rounded and solid. He is a caucasian American with blue eyes and dark brown hair, which is shaved on the sides and styled into a fohawk combed over to the right. His left arm is covered in a sleeve tattoo of psychadelic colors from the wrist up past his shoulder and onto his neck. Leonard tends to favor jeans and sneakers with a striped tank top and stylized running jacket, which conceals his pistol. Lastly, Leonard has pierced his left ear with a stud.
Personality: Calm but moody, professional yet selfish, a free spirit burdened with rules and a regimented behavior. Leonard is a man who thinks of himself before others, but then that’s to be expected of a paid mercenary. Or as he likes to call his profession, an “aggressive artist.” His feelings and moods change on a whim, almost as if by the direction of the wind or the phase of the moon, yet he knows to always remain professional when dealing with business and companions. When it comes to stand combat, he is both tactical and aggressive, a great planner and strategist due to the non-offensive nature of his stand’s power, and yet quick to take aim with his trusty sidearm thanks to how long it takes for his stand to kick in. He will take any opportunity that he sees, so long as the reward outweighs the risk in his mind. He is certainly not above taking advantage of his stand for more mundane aspects of life, and if there is something to gain from abusing his power with a normal citizen then he won’t hesitate to do so. This selfish nature is sometimes difficult to pinpoint, as he speaks with flowery, eloquent sentence structure that can confuse the less educated and come off as exceedingly polite when he is in fact being nothing of the sort. He is also a big patriot of his country.
Skills:

• Fit - Leonard is a very physically fit and athletic man, able to lift with the best of them and take a hit like a man. He’s also got stamina for days, able to keep running at top speed without losing breath for several minutes.
• Shooting - Despite his imposing frame and great strength, Leonard doesn’t have a lot of skill in physical combat. Rather he’s great at marksmanship, trained and experienced with most small arms.
• Educated - Just because he’s built like a brute doesn’t mean he is one. Leonard is no genius, but he’s not dumb either. He’s had a strong education and has a master’s degree in literary arts.
• Artful - In accordance with the above, Leonard is a pretty darn good artist, whether it’s with a paint brush or a pen or a stone chisel. He’s great with his hands and able to expediently make great art, but his calligraphy strokes are unquestionably his best.

History: Born and raised as an only child in a small town in the state of Alabama, Leonard never forgot his roots. A fine bit more educated than most of his peers, he struggled through social life until he was able to leave the small minded small town and attend university for his artistic passion. He had big plans for life, but little did he know how life had its own big plans for him. Leonard exposed himself to every form of art that he could, indulging in modern media, classical technique, and drifting between styles on a whim. His informed style led to an early graduation, so as reward his parents had paid for a trip to several countries around the world, where he could integrate into the cultures and learn first hand about the various histories and styles he was emulating in his own works. He was eager, and ectatic for the opportunity, bringing with him many of his own pieces which he would sell during the journey to make up for the remainder of the cost…

Only no pieces were sold. Leonard had been banking on being able to supplement the trip with his own income, but he failed to sell a single piece even when he dropped his prices to a net loss. Saddened, disparaged, and now out of money in a foreign country, Leonard missed his flight to the next leg on his journey all because he couldn’t afford a taxi. It wasn’t fair. He gave everything he had, devoted his soul to understanding and portraying these cultures, to gain worldly wisdom, and they failed to appreciate it, not even for a few measly pennies. Leonard almost fell into despair then and there, but then was approached by a strange man with white hair, who offered him a nice payday, assuming Leonard could do something for him. Desperate, Leonard entertained the offer and listened to the man. All he had to do was replace the water bottle of a nearby man with one white-hair was providing. This sounded sketchy as all hell, so Leonard asked bluntly, “Are you asking me to poison him?” The response he got was answer enough. “What are you willing to do to thrive?” Leonard thought long and hard about it. The situation was difficult, and there seemed to be no way out. His family certainly didn’t have the money to support him back; it was all spent on his dream vacation. Burying his conscience, Leonard agreed.

The white haired man made good on his promise, and went another step forward. After paying Leonard, he offered Leonard “real power.” In exchange for Leonard’s services in the future, he could test Leonard with new strength that would mean he would never fall on hard times again. This time Leonard didn’t hesitate and agreed on the spot. The two left the airport for a more private surrounding in the wilderness, where the man revealed a strange arrowhead with a bug patterned onto it. The man cut into Leonard’s hand with the arrowhead, and after several moments declared that since he wasn’t dead, Leonard was worthy. That was the day he was given his stand, Free Bird, and the day the white haired man trained him in the basics of stand use and combat. For the next five years Leonard took on any job his mentor sent his way, while developing his own career as an independent mercenary. He would charge based on “commissions,” how many works of art he had to make during a job, and took on any task so long as the price was right. Killings weren’t off the table, not after he already damned himself with the poisoned man in the airport, and any target usually found an unmarked letter in their mailbox with only a strange symbol inside, before dying of mysterious circumstances. Of course he’d take on protection jobs, transportation, and anything else anybody would be willing to hire him for. Now the Speedwagon Foundation had called in Leonard Skinner for the strange phenomena in Washington DC, and the abundance of costumed maniacs running amok. Well, the price was certainly right.

Stand Description: Free Bird is a long range automatic stand that has no form of its own, instead inhabiting and working through the user’s body, and his symbol drawings.
Power Description: Free Bird has the ability to create fully self-sustaining and evolving illusions through symbols drawn by the user. These symbols can be Japanese kanji, Nordic runes, or anything else. The user draws a symbol, empowering it with his stand. Once the symbol has been complete, it expends its power on the first living thing to see it (it does not need to be human nor do they need to understand what the symbol means, or even be aware that they have seen it, but they do need to see the entire thing). The victim is then subjected to an illusion created by the meaning of the symbol (ex: the symbol for “fire” forces them to see a fire), with a single symbol creating a very basic image, or multiple symbols being used together to create more complex imagery (ex: combining “fire” and “sky” could lead to raining fire or meteors). The illusion starts out benign, only affecting the vision and hearing senses, but over time the illusion evolves in a number of ways. It begins to affect all senses, able to be smelled, touched, and cause real pain. It will even develop its own sentience, learning how to further evolve and change itself to better attack the target. Once the illusion has been allowed to evolve for ten minutes, it solidifies into reality, becoming very real and thus even being able to directly affect things other than the original target. These illusions are entirely self-directing and require zero thought or effort on the part of the user to maintain. Due to their automatic nature and self-directed evolution, they may turn on the user or otherwise abandon the original target. They will dissipate if the user willingly dismisses them (either by erasing or striking out the symbols that created the illusion), if the target is killed, or if the user is knocked out.

Name: Hogan.

Age: 37

Stand: Smash Mouth

Appearance: Hogan is a 493.4cm long Australian saltwater crocodile. He has rows of large armored scutes across his back and down the length of the tail. His massive frame weighs a hefty 897.8kgs he has two sets of legs, each leg ending in gnarly looking claws. Then comes Hogan's huge maw, it's filled to the brim with bone crushing teeth, some of which are so large they have risk poking small holes into Hogan's upper lip. This monster maw segues into a pair of sickly yellow eyes, having the iconic silted pupil. The scales all over Hogan's body are a pale whiteish yellow, with the exception of occasional dark grey spot on his flanks.



Personality: Hogan is a rather sassy crocodile, not taking anybodies crap. He'll more than happily give you a proper smack if he hears any mumbling about him. He man not be able to speak, but that doesn't mean he doesn't know what you're saying. Aside from being a little pissy Hogan is actually pretty chill, content to just lay around and eat food, not being the type of crocodile to move much when he doesn't need to, and will often require some added incentive to get his scaly butt moving. Hogan is a loyal animal, despite what his sass would lead you to believe, he will lay down everything to protect those he cares about.

Skills: Hogan being a Saltwater crocodile has access to abilities that some other stand users don't. Primarily having a bite force of around 3700 psi or 16'000 newtons. Hogan can move his ass quite quickly when he needs to, being able to run around 25kph, but he would tire after a good 30-60 meters of sprinting. He makes up for his slow movement on the ground with high speed in the water at 15kph, which is close to twice as fast as Olympic swimmers. Hogan's tough armor also allows him to take slashes and stabs for short blades with much more effectively than humans, even without the use of his stand.

History: Hogan wasn't always the massive super croc in fact he used to be a rather small one, the runt of the family. And being a runt of a crocodile is as bad as it sounds, he struggled in almost every task a crocodile was supposed to be good at. He wasn't able to catch much prey, not only because of his weak frame, but because other crocodiles would beat him away from his meals, making life that much harder. And his situation wasn't improving, he'd gotten to the point where every meal was a blessing, and good health seemed like a distant dream.

But just when it seemed like his luck couldn't get any worse, he found himself bleeding out on the ground, stomach opened up by some kind of arrow. Hogan wasn't sure if his death would be a blessing or a curse, but he felt it was closer to the former. But suddenly the slow cold embrace that was death just. Stopped. He was suddenly feeling much better. He had no idea what was going on, but this close run in with death made him realize just how much he enjoyed living.

Unbeknownst to Hogan, he'd stumbled into some Stand Arrow, that was how he was able to obtain his incredible healing powers, thought he didn't understand he was a super crocodile yet, he quickly started to notice how different life was over the next few months. Hogan had managed to pick himself back up, his new healing powers letting him compete with other crocs, even though both parties left the fights unscathed. He was managing to put on some weight, although he was still a good deal smaller than he should be.

And it seemed that trappers had also noticed how small Hogan was, making him out as an easy target. Even with his healing powers, Hogan was unable to put up a fight against the humans and their weapons, being quickly knocked out with tranquilizers. When Hogan had finally woken up, he found himself in some strange building, he kept hearing the word "zoo" thrown around, having no idea what it meant at the time.

it seemed that again Hogan's life had take a turn, a turn to that of an easy life. These weird looking pink things were literally throwing food at him, and Hogan loved it. He quickly packed on the pounds during his many years in captive life, eager to make up for lost time, but this lifestyle had started to make Hogan get lazy. Earning the reputation of "The Laziest lizard." This reputation didn't annoy Hogan all that much, not until people started waving food at him and yelling at him to move.

It was late on a Monday, and the last of the visitors were clearing out. But there was one boy hell bent on getting Hogan moving, and when staff slipped away for a moment, he started throwing rocks at him. Hogan obviously not enjoying this decided to leap up and take the kids hand off. But as the kid ran away screaming that his hand had been taken off, it. Well it grew back, so nobody believed his story, well everyone except the Speedwagon Foundation. It was quickly found out that Hogan was the source of the kid regrowing his limb, and that's when Hogan was approached by the SWF. Who promptly offered him a job.

Other: His name is a reference to the actor Paul Hogan, who played the role of 'Mike Dundee'. In the 1986 film, 'Crocodile Dundee'. Also Jonathan Joestar is best JoJo.

Stand Name: 「Smash Mouth」

Stand Description: Smash Mouth looks exactly how you'd think. It's the insides of Hogan's mouth.

Power Description: Smash Mouth's power if more of an enhancement to Hogan himself, it's core functionality is to imbues his mouth, more precisely, his saliva, with healing capabilities. Hogan's saliva can heal most wounds, bestowing enhanced regeneration on any organic creature (including himself) that it touches. This healing effect lasts for three minutes and fifty six seconds exactly. Hogan has used these healing powers to ascend past the limits of normal crocodiles, by constantly ripping then healing/strengthening his limbs, namely his tail, legs and jaw. But this power also presents Hogan with a problem, he finds it extremely hard to actually kill a prey item and thus can't catch his own food well.

Other: The stand's name comes from the band, Smash Mouth.

Appearance: Mieke can easily be described as “doll-like,” having pale skin, delicate facial features, and small stature. Her hair, naturally platinum blonde but currently dyed pastel purple, is long and wavy with straight bangs that end just above her eyes. She loves sweaters, and will wear them whenever the weather permits it. She wears a lot of clothes with soft colors and cute styles.

Personality: Mieke is the kind of person who doesn’t take to conflict very well. If someone yells at her, or near her, or if people are arguing or getting angry around her, she’s likely to cry. In fact, a lot of things can make her cry. She’s overly sensitive, easily frightened, and bad at standing up for herself.

This doesn’t necessarily mean she’s a coward, though. A whole life of extreme emotion has left her adept at continuing on despite what she’s feeling. If she starts crying, she can deal with it, if she gets scared, she can work through it, and as long as there’s a possibility of succeeding, she won’t give up. She’ll always try to find a peaceful solution to any conflict, and it’s hard for her to say no to anyone who needs her help. She may be fragile, but she’s definitely reliable.

It’s a real challenge to get her really angry, and barely anyone has ever succeeded, but when it happens, well… it’s really something.

Skills:
Strength - While she’s no bodybuilder, Mieke is much stronger than she looks. She’s been carrying heavy planters and bags of mulch for years, so she’s worked up plenty of muscle.

Plant Stuff - Whether it’s arranging bouquets or planting a garden, Mieke definitely has a green thumb. You kind of have to when you work in a flower shop.

Video Games - You wouldn’t think so when you look at her, but Mieke is a whiz at video games, rhythm and fighting games especially. As a kid, she held plenty of high scores at her local arcade.

History: Mieke spent most of her life in a small seaside town in Massachusetts. She lived with her single mother in an apartment above a flower shop called “Smell the Roses.” Her mother had very weak health, and the flower business only barely paid for her medical expenses. Between going to school, helping run the shop, and her shy personality, Mieke didn’t excel socially. In school, she was the kid who kept to herself, rarely sharing more than a few words with anyone. She had a reputation for getting upset very easily, which kids used to tease her about early on, but once they grew up, most everyone just left her alone. If someone did take interest in her, she would be friendly to them at school, but if they asked to make plans, she would always answer with, “Sorry, I’m busy.”

When she wasn’t in school, she would be working at the flower shop, running errands, helping customers, or doing the heavy lifting that her mother couldn’t. She thrived in that environment, as it was only ever busy around certain holidays. Once she graduated high school, she started working at the shop full time instead of attending college, which they wouldn’t be able to afford. Things were alright for a while.

When people started contracting an unknown illness, Mieke was terrified. Her mother already wasn’t healthy, if she caught that disease, she’d almost definitely die. As it turns out, she didn’t catch it. However, Mieke did. For days on end, she was bedridden with a terrible fever, slipping in and out of consciousness. Her mother closed up the shop to take care of her.

When the sickness was at its worst, Mieke saw a vision of a winged figure standing over her. She was sure that it had to be the angel of death coming to take her away. To her surprise though, she started to recover. In no time, she was well enough to go back to work.

Her mind was stuck on the vision she had, though. If she focused on it, she could almost see it physically there with her, but it never lasted long.

She wasn’t sure what to do when she received a letter calling her to Washington D.C. On one hand, she thought it must have had something to do with the winged thing, and she really wanted to know more about it. On the other hand, she didn’t exactly have many skills that could be useful. Especially since the letter mentioned saving the world. There was no way she could do that. Her place was at home, helping her mother and taking care of plants.

However, she changed her mind when she read the word “compensated.”

Seeing an opportunity to ease her mother’s financial strain, she called a cousin to take her place at the store, and booked a flight to Washington.

Stand Description: Cry Baby appears as a tall lanky humanoid figure with pink skin and large feathery wings. She has yellow hair in a short bob with straight bangs that almost cover her entire face. She wears frilly white and yellow clothing. Her voice sounds like a chirping bird.

Stand Abilities: When Cry Baby cries, her tears float in the air and harden into sharp crystals. The crystals will hang in the air until they’re touched, which causes them to burst into shards capable of causing minor damage to objects or people. Cry Baby can also use her wings to shoot the crystals as projectiles. Cry Baby can only cry when Mieke cries.

Name: Arthur St. Anger

Gender: Male

Age: 46

Stand: Space Oddity

Appearance: Standing at 6'7” and weighing almost 300 pounds, Arthur is, though a little more portly than muscular nowadays, an imposing figure. His thick, short, burnt orange hair, while somewhat receded up top, is most splendid in his enormous walrus mustache, though his body hair is more than substantial. Laugh lines surround his dark brown eyes. Though partial to ordinary suits, when not on official business he tends to ditch the jacket and go for dark purple slacks with matching suspenders over a mustard-yellow Hawaiian shirt covered in different small animals. Black shoes and a black watch complete his average look

Personality: A pleasant man, strong-willed and confident, amicable to strangers and an unfailing ally to friends—Arthur St. Anger is someone hard to dismiss or ignore, especially given his general showiness and over-the-top, almost hammy behavior. Arthur is, however, more than a big goof. While his smiling heart is by no means a mere facade, he does harbor a less visible side; he is pragmatic, wanting to be in control at all times, and sports very few compunctions about doing what he feels is necessary, though his overriding principles are good. For instance, he believes murder is wrong, but if someone were to attack him or his family, he would have no qualms about shooting such an individual first and asking questions later. As such, it can be said that he is both intelligent and instinctual, a man unafraid to stand up and fight for what he believes in, but more than content to be a lovable spectacle most of the time

Skills: Though one might look at Arthur and see either a brute or an oaf, he is neither of these things. While it's true that he possesses a massive amount of physical strength which his lingering mastery of grappling can put to great use, his heart and mind may be his greatest weapons; he is empathetic, considerate, and clever quick to understand things about others, including what they are feeling, making him able to win other people over. In short, he is charismatic to and likable for most people, though of course he can also be more than a little intimidating, particularly when he employs a certain pragmatic cunning without hesitation

History: Born in Oshawa, Canada, Arthur suffered a troubled childhood. The commonplace absence of his mother, an indulgent woman who fancied herself part of a society significantly higher than her household's wealth would imply, meant that his overworked father couldn't spare much time for his son. Ostracized at school for his size, Arthur got into his fair share of fights, more than often losing them due to his slow speed and then taking all the blame. Things looked dark for him until he found an idol, shining in the dark—ChallengeMania, the show based around the Northern Championship Wrestling organization. Awed by the pillars of masculinity who battled in events of incredible strength and tenacity, telling sagas of heroic faces and devious heels, Arthur devoted himself to the idea of becoming a wrestler.

Before long, he felt that he found a place where he belonged. Gaining friend after friend from his classes, he trained his physique along with his skills. The tenets of wrestling seeped into his normal life, turning his aspirations toward excellence in order to rise above all that would put him down. His redoubled his effort in school, and things turned for the better. He was determined to do it all wearing a smile, only wavering in the depressing period during which his parents divorced. After graduating high school, he split his focus between a warehouse job and wrestling, working at both until he could enter both a local wrestling league and attend Trent University Durham. Though things were difficult, he never ceased in his struggle. During his time at school, working on a degree in business, he became acquainted with a certain Bree Selvick, and natural chemistry between the two bloomed into a good relationship. Years later, in his crowning moment, Arthur stood in the spotlight with the local champion's belt around his waist and his fiancee cheering him on.

After that, the years trudged by. Arthur's burning spirit cooled, though he continued to wrestle alongside his labor as a marketer. This did not change much after he and his wife moved to the capitol of Ottawa, though it wasn't too long after that when Bree gave birth to twins, a boy and a girl that she and her husband named Seth and Aster. After a while, however, things settled down, and gradually Arthur began to grow dissatisfied. He felt as though he'd fallen into a rut, and yearned for something different, or perhaps something forgotten: the glory of his earlier days. He used some of his leverage in the industry to look into various venues of wrestling, visiting different places across Canada and the United States in search of thrilling novelty. It was in this manner that he stumbled onto something utterly abnormal.

To this day Arthur can scarcely recall what happened in a remote part of St. Louis, but he can remember glimpses of a hidden MMA ring, a frigid cell, a kaleidoscopic light in his mind, a headless figure of shadows and steel far too large to be human, and a tattooed man standing before a great clockwork insect. As far as he knows, it might have just been a nightmare, but he cannot question its repercussions. Since that hazy day he has never been alone, accompanied by a silvery seer that nobody else can see, coming and going at his beck and call to accomplish incredible things. Just as he wished, his life did get more interesting; every so often, whether as Arthur the businessman or Saint Anger the wrestler, he happened upon someone else harboring a hidden side not unlike his own, commanding powers as variable as they were strange. Some encounters ended in anticlimax, truce, or even friendship, but many ended in violence, forcing Arthur to take measures to protect himself and his family. Drifting away from the wrestling world, he worked to strengthen his own abilities and expertise. As a result, his experience and knowledge grew over the years, and as of late the former wrestler from Canada has become something of an establishment in the enigmatic world of Stands. His desire to rediscover the secret society in St. Louis that started him on this new path remains strong, but his number-one priority never did change: to protect and care for his family.

Stand Description: A bipedal, close-range, wearable, power-type Stand, Space Oddity takes the form of an oversized humanoid of ornate, celestial metal. Its size is such that despite its thinner frame its hands are about the same size as its user's. As such, it often only manifests from the torso up, rising from the ground behind or near its user. Rather than a head, it has a number of angular metal struts jutting out from its collar somewhat like the ramparts of a tower; its true head, a miniature maelstrom of purple energy with a golden, diamond-shaped locus in the middle, only appears when the Stand uses its power

Power Description: Space Oddity's ability, which is anything but simple, revolves around compound words. Most explicitly, it is able to split apart anything truly describable with a compound word into the two things that compose that compound word; this power also works in reverse, able to fuse two things together into something else so long as those two things' words make a compound word when put together.

This is accomplished by projecting a purplish wave from the Stand's hands, which travels quickly and upon contacting a suitable candidate for fusion or de-fusion becomes an aura around it, a suitable candidate being something that is already a compound word or is within a few feet of something else with which it can become a compound word. Once a candidate is surrounded with the aura, it begins to vibrate and give off a shimmering effect, and Space Oddity either gestures with its hands to pull the thing apart, or to bring two candidates closer together until the candidate/s either split or merge in a surge of cosmic energy. The result or results of the Stand's ability can be concrete, but often time the word describing it can be multiple things, so Space Oddity uses context clues o precedence, including its surroundings, to choose what is done. Faithful representation is balanced out with what makes the most sense with reality as well as consistency, often picking what the most people would first think of when the word in question is spoken to them.
