haha, Naa my boat pulled into fremantle so I went up to Perth and what not. My accent is 100% american...but a mix as well...I have west coast, southern and new england all rolled into one weird accent that people always try to figure out where I'm from. People from the north say I sound like i'm from the south, or west coast, and vice versa for the other regions haha.

One time, when I was speaking French, someone thought I was Russian, because of my accent. :3

What do you guys think? Is a mercenary whose only motivation is money and keeping his comrades alive too shallow of a character?

not at all! everyone has a driving force or motivation. If you look at like my character, for all of his skills and bassasery, he has no real motivation. Nothing really drives him so (once we start) he is going to be more lost with out orders to tell him what needs to be done. So even if he is motivated by money it doesn't mean he is a shallow character. In some regards he would have more depth then mine. but it would work well, since we are all sort of mercenaries at this point and we need money and have to get it some how.

He’s a ginger and likes to grow a massive red beard in honor of his scottish heritage. Medium build but more focused on muscle building than endurance, so he’s a bit thicker and broader than average.

Personality:
He is a firm believer in family and kinship and is great at making fast friends. It doesn’t matter how long you’ve served with him, you’re family and he will treat you as such. Loud and obnoxious at times, but always knows how to lighten the mood with his jokes. He’s also a very simple man. He doesn’t care about the American dream, having children, or owning a home. He loves the fast, exciting life of the battlefield and he would rather die in a foxhole than get too old to fight anymore. This could be contributed to his Scottish heritage as well, this man loves to fight. He would sooner throw a punch than say excuse me and then hug you right after.

Personal History:
Military is his life. Always has been. He’s inherited the desire to fight from his father, who got it from his father, and so on. Every male in his family served in the military and loved every second of it. As soon as he turned 18, Carson packed his bags, ran to the nearest recruiter and joined right up. He was quickly recognized as being a highly skilled soldier, but he wasn’t leadership material. He prefered to keep things simple, “Just show me where to shoot!”. After his eight years of service, Carson and his closest friends decided they were tired of the structured life the the U.S. Military and decided to go the mercenary route. Over the course of time, he proved that his skill surpassed theirs, but the price was seeing them all die, one by one. He was never the same after that. He still had his goofy, joking outside, but underneath, there were hints of rage that would show themselves in brief moments of utter brutality in the battlefield. The way he sees it, this mission to the Pacific was just another chance to let some rage out.

Particular Skills or Talents:
Excellent engineer skills from his time in the US Military. Can repair most types of machinery and weaponry. Knows a decent amount about explosives. Proficient with small arms, particularly in the case of holding a position.

*pulls out Cheytech Intervention sniper rifle. Pulls back the bolt loading a round into the chamber. Looking down the scope spots GrowingDark's head into it....then moves aiming at his x-box...moves again finding his computer. After a few moments of switching between the two, Takes in a deep breath and then squeezes shooting the x-box, after the round case ejects I pull back the bolt to chamber another around as the rifle seamlessly moves to the computer, another deep breath and another round hitting the computer now. Stands up waving from my spot across the street then disappears into the night.*

Might be a tad extreme, but definitely not lacking awe factor
