The Winged Kobold makes its save at 17 @Ryonara.

We move on to Ashkar Brannor @The Harbinger of Ferocity.

I have now at last returned so on to the associated business. As such, for these flying kobolds, how many feet are they off the ground? Are they within melee range of Brannor's blade if he were to approach them or are they high enough that unless the weapon has reach, it will not strike, @Hekazu?

The combination of the cave floor falling into a downward slope and their ten feet flight height puts them soundly out of reach of any non reach weapons, and even with such one might have to jump into the air to actually connect a strike. Funnily enough, that leap might remain an option for non reach weapons still, if one takes into account the fall into the mushroom bedding. But no, they are not in greatsword reach through conventional means of attack.

Then as we are on to ranged weapons, can Brannor loose an arrow from his bow at the bottom rightmost kobold from his hidden position, @Hekazu? Or will he need step out and break his hidden position to do this? The goal is to try and retain that advantage and hopefully tag one of them with an actual hit.

Making a ranged attack reveals a hidden character, exceptions to this provided by the Skulker feat. But you are able to make said attack from your hidden position, granting advantage on the attack if taken as I am able to draw a line of fire from a corner of his square to the winged kobold's.

That I am aware of, I just needed to be sure that the attack would be what reveals; moving would have made this not so possible. That said, I will deal with it shortly enough.

It is a grazing hit @The Harbinger of Ferocity, barely causing real harm to the creature. But harm it does. The attack lands, though the creature does not seem much worse off of it.

Next up is Torus. I will be writing that post sometime this evening/night. I suppose the use of Thunderwave would put much too big a damper on the stealth plan to be a viable option.

I will take a weak hit over a spectacular miss, @Hekazu, no less is it that I cannot imagine kobolds to be too sturdy now. Hopefully it is softened enough that someone particularly devoted to doing the ranged option as it were, would be able to see it off.

@Hekazu

Could Orchid attack the center flying kobold 6 spaces to the right of Orchid if he jumps for it? I'm assuming he should be able to even if Torus is taking up the spot as long as Orchid doesn't end his movement the same spot as Torus.

Other combatants are difficult terrain. But it is feasible to assume that you might take the "free" diagonals to avoid going through occupied spaces, so said leap would be possible. If you do, remember that you will be taking 1d6 bludgeoning damage from the fall and landing prone, unless you have a way to mitigate that damage to zero @Lucius Cypher.

I don't have any ways of mitigating the damage, but if Orchid passes an acrobatics check could he at least land on his feet?

There is no mention of such option in the official rules and I'm not feeling like writing a separate homebrew rule for this, so I shall be going on with RAW on this matter.

Well shit. Guess I'll just have to do the boring thing and throw a javelin.

Target is slain, @Lucius Cypher.

It is now Kyra's turn @Norschtalen. With enemies outside of the fog and in view dealt with, it is still possible to aim for the latest known location of either high flying enemy, in which case your hiding advantage is spent to not gain disadvantage from the target being out of sight. It is also possible to remain in hiding, of course. If you do, please provide the advantaged attack rolls and the damage roll beforehand.

The Winged Kobold makes its save at 15, I am afraid @Ryonara.

Next up would be Ashkar Brannor @The Harbinger of Ferocity.

Ugh, I should have just tried and stab the kobold. I can't wait until I get my magical secrets so I can get Eldritch Blast and do some actual damage.

I have a friend who has very similar luck with cantrips as you are having right now. Dice just don't seem to like mocking people. It'll even out in due time, I'm sure.

The bright side of DC cantrips is that they completely ignore things like AC or advantage/disadvantage, so against hard-to-hit enemies it's just a matter of targeting their weakest save. I actually have a warlock concept who have a damage cantrip for each save just so I could avoid dealing with dodging abilities. But yeah, until I'm higher level you don't even need much of a bonus to beat a 13 or even 14 DC.

When Brannor steps out of the fog, are the kobolds fighting Torus and Orchid grounded now or still flying but within melee range, @Hekazu? I am assuming at least the one fighting Orchid is, as it was using a dagger; the other I am guessing not given the stone.
