Gaea is the name of the planet in which our role play takes place. On this planet there are a multitude of fictitious races and creatures, but the main dominant races are the Humans, the Giants, and the Fairies. In Gaea, there are multiple religions whether they be legally established churches or temples or hidden cults. The major religion, mostly practiced by humankind is the belief in the White God. This zealous belief created the Church of the White, a church and a self-righteous order that attempts to maintain peace and order throughout the lands. Warriors of The White, or otherwise known as Holy Knights roam the lands, visiting every village, town, and city, spreading the White God’s influence so as to bring more to the light. The Holy Knights insert themselves in the geopolitics between warring states, hoping to find peaceful resolution, and if not, enforce the White God’s judgment. These powerful warriors, wielding legendary weapons blessed by the White God are the self-proclaimed judges of Gaea. They believe their decisions are backed by the White God and often times they are, whether the White God commands that they reduce a kingdom deemed wicked in his eyes to ruin or to take no sides at all.
The Holy Knights’ jurisdiction reaches all lands but one. They were able to achieve peace with the Giants after years of war. Many Giants have been converted to the White God, and although rarely seen among humans, they are free to roam their lands without discrimination. They fairies, however, remain elusive to the church. Many Holy Knights sail the sea, searching the oceans for the hidden Fairy Island. Cloaked with magic, the island frequently appears for a moment before it vanishes into the blue. The island is such a potent reservoir for magical energy that it is said the fairies don't ever age. They could live for eternity on their island and will never by natural means. It is why most fairies are xenophobic and refuse to ever leave. Why leave and risk death when you can live forever?
The fairies are very protective of their home. Every now and then, a shipwreck victim or visitor manages to wash or come ashore the island. The magical alarms are triggered and alert every fairy on the island of the intrusion. If the victim thought he or she was saved, they were mistaken. Imprisoned and left to rot in their dungeons or face swift execution, the fae judge how they judge and need no White God or Holy Knight to do it for them. Lo’ anyone who come ashore Fairy Island for if they are not fae, they will pay (as the rhyme goes).
Our story begins with the current situation in the human kingdom of Caroline.
The Church of the White has deemed the Caroline Kingdom a sanctuary and have taken up residence in the castle. There were rumors of the kingdom housing rebels. It began as a story about the people being upset with the kingdom for cowardly summoning aid from the church rather than use its own armies. The rumor has thus fabricated into a claim that worshippers of the Black God have appeared among the people and that the worshippers threaten to rebel against the Church. The people angry for having not seen their king and queen since the Church’s occupation show resistance to the Church only bringing false-truth to the false-claim.
The Great Holy Knight Hector Mineaus has turned the castle into a secure base for the Holy Knights. News posters are covered in slanderous claims of Hector deeming himself king by his own mandate and having conquered Caroline in the name of the Church and White God, but Hector denies these claims. Those discovered speaking such lies have been publically executed for all to witness and fear. While the king and queen are safely in his possession, the princess is not.
Hector has ordered squads of Holy Knights to search the land for the fleeing princess and bring her back alive and unharmed. The princess runs and hides, searching for the seven warriors who once opposed the White God, believing that they are strong enough to set her parents and kingdom free from Hector and the church.
This is a Legend of Zelda game based on the Breath of the Wild story line. However, you do not have to have played Breath of the Wild in order to participate in this RPG. This story is an alternate universe story, and most of what you need to know is mentioned in this interest check. Whatever isn't mentioned can easily be referenced on most wikia sites.
The Legend of Zelda game, Breath of the Wild, takes place in a mildly advanced future of Hyrule, involving magic and machines. A great evil known as Calamity Ganon terrorized Hyrule for ten millennia, causing the advanced civilization to devolve into a medieval state. He was defeated by Princess Zelda’s champion Link and sealed away, but prophecy of his return alerted the Hyrulians and they thus began excavating their ancestors’ mecha technology. They uncovered four divine beasts and chose four champions to pilot them. When Ganon broke his seal and returned to Hyrule, he took over the machines, possessing them with his dark power known as “The Blight.” He killed the champions and gravely wounded Zelda’s hero Link. In order to save Link’s life, Zelda preserved his body in a special chamber where he would sleep for 100 years. Zelda went to challenge Ganon alone, using the power granted to her by the goddess Hylia, and no one has seen her since.
To this day, Hyrule Castle is surrounded by a black and red tornado. The machines that once fought Ganon’s minions, large, spider-like machines known as Guardians have been blighted and guard Hyrule Castle from any armies that attempt to take it back. In this original story, the question is asked: What if Link never woke up? This is where our story begins.
Hyrule still exists in a dilapidated state. Ruins of towns and temples scatter the fields and fill the forests, attracting the greedy eyes of treasure hunters. Deadly Guardians roam the land, destroying towns and vaporizing innocent travelers who stumble within its eyesight. Bokoblins, and other vicious servants of Ganon harass travelers and towns, continuing to spread Ganon’s calamity. The people of Hyrule have learned to endure their hardship and while they hope to be freed from their aberration, most have lost hope and live day-to-day as much as they can. Their continued prayers to the four goddesses: Nayru, Din, Farore, and Hylia; were eventually heard. Without realizing it, four babes were born with the blood of the goddesses, and their destiny, to liberate Hyrule from Ganon.
Basically, this is going to be a small group game with three other writers besides the GM. You are playing a child of one of the four Golden Goddesses: Farore, Goddess of Courage; Nayru, Goddess of Wisdom; Din, Goddess of Power; and Hylia, The Benevolent Demiurge. What these kids all have in common is that they do not remember their past. They have always been orphans, and they have always seemed different from the other beings of Hyrule. They each possess the mark of their respective goddess. There is a destiny that draws these kids together and leads them to ultimately join together and defeat Calamity Ganon.
I am going to be recruiting dedicated writers who are interested in creating stories in our Legend of Zelda alternate universe (AU). I will only be picking the best concept (and yes, this is subjective). If I pick a character over another character, it does not mean you are a bad writer or that your concept wasn’t good enough. As the GM, I am just picking the best concept that fits well in the game. So multiple writers are welcome to apply. Only three will be chosen unless I get more than three really good concepts. If I get more than three, then I do not mind expanding the game a little. We'll figure something out don't worry. It's the story and quality that counts!
All I ask is please be respectful, be willing to interact with others, and definitely bring your imagination to this game. This game is going to need writers rather than role players. Writers are capable of carrying a story without much GM intervention. They use NPCs, and they can create the entire world around them. The role player is expecting the GM to guide them in the right direction. Therefore, they are not always capable of operating independently. If you are more of a role player than a writer, then do not apply to this game. As the GM, I cannot force you to interact with others and bring fun and interesting drama to this game. Therefore, for this small group, I need everyone to be a writer and be capable of story-weaving and adding depth to their characters.
If you are still interested in this story, then continue reading onward.
These races are playable, but this game does not require every character to play a different race. All characters can be Hylians for all I care. There is no obligation so please do not force yourself to play something you have no interest in playing because you think it adds variety to the game. Play only what interests you.
Hylians: They are the race believed to be blessed by the gods. They are adept with magic, potion-making, and technology. Even though, technology now a days in the game has been reduced to ruins. They resemble Elves and function like humans in appearance and personality.
Sheikah: They are an ancient and considered extinct race of humans who (in Breath of the Wild) live in secret. Sheikah are known for their stark-white hair and live in a Feudal Japan-style society. They are responsible for protecting and serving the goddesses and the Hylian Royal Family. They were the secret soldiers who went to great lengths to ensure they succeeded in their mission. Their symbol is a Single Eye with a Tear drop. Supposedly, there is a hidden village in the mountains where all the Sheikah reside called “Kakariko Village.”
Goron: The Gorons are a humanoid folk who hail from the mountains, most well-known Death Mountain, and live off the nutritious rocks found around. Physically, they started off as bare before learning to wear loincloths and sporting intricate tattoos. Some Gorons even have hair and beards. They have the unique ability to roll themselves into giant balls and slide down mountain sides. They can climb onto the backs of each other and propel themselves to higher elevations. Gorons are rarely seen. They have always been portrayed as helpful and friendly, and very stuck in their ways to the point of distrust. But once a Goron’s trust is won, they trust for life! Gorons have displayed advanced technological skills (like Dwarves) due to their mines and a deep spirituality that rivals the Hylians.
Zora: Zoras have their own monarchy and history. They are pretty civilized and think very highly of themselves. They are the “fish people.” These aquatic humanoids don’t have much mystery to them and they are charged with overseeing Hyrule’s waterways. They have a close relationship with the Hylian Royal Family bested only by the Sheikah. Unlike the other races, the Zoras have their own patron deity named Lord Jabu-Jabu.
Rito: The Rito are the “bird people.” They are humanoid birds who live high in the mountains and cliffs of Hyrule. Interestingly, the Rito were once Zoras. Some Zora colonists who grew tired of the sea and desired to be close to the sky, left into the mountains to create a civilization that overtime evolved into birds. The Rito, like the Zora, have a patron diety named Lord Valoo. Valoo only speaks the ancient Hylian tongue, and therefore, only few can understand him. Valoo is the god that grants Rito who come of age the ability to fly with one of his scales. Rito are rarely seen in regions at lower elevations preferring their high roosts close to the sky.
Gerudo: The Gerudo are the most unique human race in all the land. They are a tribe consisting of only women and every 100 years a male is born. As soon as the male is born, he is instantly declared their king. Ganondorf, the human-form of Ganon, was this male reborn as a Gerudo after his sealing by princess Zelda. As Ganondorf, he attempted to ally with the Hyrule Royal Family in order to one day take Princess Zelda as his bride. He attempted to overthrow the king, but his plot was thwarted long ago by the champion Link (so the stories say). Since this incident, the Gerudo have had a very bad relationship with other races. They are believed to be thieves and aren’t at all trusted. They are considered lawless and uncivil.
Human: Humans are, well, Humans. It is unknown if they are the base race for all the other humanoids in Hyrule, but they are easily identified by their ear shape. Unlike Hylians, they do not have pointed ears. Humans are the main race that dominate the land and possess no supernatural perks.
The races mentioned above are the only playable races, but they are not the only races in the game. Because there are multiple other races in the Zelda universe, I did not list them. However, they can be referenced as NPCs as long as it makes sense for them to be in a location.
Fated to Meet
During this chapter, we will discuss how our characters will meet. Our characters, I'm sure will come from various backgrounds, but they can meet in various ways. One could be a traveler. Another could work at an Inn that another character stops at. I will be creating events that bring our characters closer to the next chapter and revealing the overall game story. In Chapter One, our characters will be teenagers. In the next chapter, which will be 10 years later, they will be much older. Some characters may have changed in appearance to show their maturation.
Nayru: Nayru is one of the three Golden Goddesses who created the realm of Hyrule along with parallel realms such as the Sacred Realm. She is the source of the fundamental laws that govern the realm. Her essence, as well as the essence of her two sisters, Farore and Din, is the source of the Golden Power within the omnipotent sacred relic, the Triforce. Her crest is the Mark of Nayru. Nayru is the Goddess of Wisdom and is revered for establishing the physical and meta-physical laws of Hyrulean existence as well as the designer of space-time itself. She is commonly associated with the element of water and is worshipped as the Goddess of the Seas and other great bodies of water such as lake Hylia. Because she is the creater of law, she is also worshipped as the Goddess of Time. Symbols and talismans associated with Nayru are often colored blue. Of all the Hyrulean realm, her essence is best personified by the Zoras (however, the player who wishes to play a child of Nayru does not have to be a Zora). As for musical instruments, she is associated with string instruments. Nayru characteristics are high intelligence and a natural affinity for magic.
Din: Din is one of the three omnipotent Golden Goddesses who created the Land of Hyrule. Din’s essence as well as the essence of her sisters, Nayru and Farore, is the source of the Golden Power within the sacred relic known in legend as the Triforce. Her crest is the Mark of Din. Din is the Goddess of Power and is associated with themes that exemplify power. Her elements are often fire and earth. Mountains and volcanoes are her creation and her talismans are often themed with the color red. Of the races of Hyrule, Din’s essence is most exemplified by the Goron race (however, the player who wishes to play a child of Din does not have to be a Goron). Characteristics of Din are physical strength, competitiveness, toughness, and arrogance. Musical instruments associated with Din are percussion.
Farore: Farore is one of the three Golden Goddesses who created the realm of Hyrule. She is the source of all life that exists in realm. Farore’s essence as well as the essence of her two sisters, Din and Nayru, is the source of the Golden Power within the omnipotent sacred relic, the Triforce. Her crest is the Mark of Farore. Characteristics of Farore are courage and magic. Farore is the creator of all life that exists within the Hyrulean realm. She is associated with regions that flourish with it such as the Lost Woods and Faron Woods. She is also worshipped as the Goddess of the Winds, and thus her essence is represented by the wind. Her symbols and talismans are associated with the color green. Farore is closely associated with forest-dweller races such as the Kokiri and the Deku. She is commonly associated with wind instruments such as the ocarina or the flute.
Hylia: Hylia is the goddess who supposedly was the first incarnation of Zelda that started the Hyrule royal line, and the divine blood they were believed to have. With the death of each Zelda, she is reincarnated time and time again in human form. She is depicted in statues and ancient text to resemble an angel. When the Golden Goddesses supposedly departed the world, they entrusted the protection of the world and the Triforce to Hylia. The color that represents this goddess is White. Unlike the other three children, a children of Hylia is the goddess in human form. The character playing the human form of Hylia, however, does not have to be female. They can be either male or female at their choice. Characteristics of Hylia are calm, caring, empathic, protective and having a good singing voice.
Character Name: You do not have to give a last name. Link did not have a last name and your characters being orphans, I do not expect them to have a last name. So just first name only please. Nickname: This can be filled out prior or later as characters give them a nickname in the game. Age: For Chapter One, they can be as young as 10 y/o and at most 14 y/o. Gender: Male or Female. Race: What race? Height: Even if you play a Zora or Goron, none will be 6’0. Weight: Remember their age. Give an approximation. Hair Color: You can get anime with it and add unusual colors. Eye Color: You can get anime with it and add unusual colors. Visual Description: No real-life photos. If you use anime, do not use famous anime characters. They will not be accepted. Try for digital art. In the end, you are not required to have an image. But you better have a damn good written description explaining what your characters looks like. Written Description: This explains what your character looks like that is not depicted in the picture. I rather writers not describe the picture in this section. Your character should be your creation. In this section, I’m looking for an overall summary: hair, clothes, stature, any markings or tattoos, weapons, and musical instruments. Jewelry or pets (travel companions). Goddess: Din, Farore, Nayru, or Hylia. Which goddess is your character a child of? Primary Weapon: This is the weapon your character prefers to wield, such as long sword, claymore, axe, spear, etc. Off-hand: Only fill this out if your character uses a shield or buckler of some sort. If not, mark “N/A.” Projectile: Only fill this out if you plan for your character to use a bow: long bow, short bow, or crossbow. Throwing knives and other throwable devices can go here as well such as the slingshot and boomerang. Magic Power: Each child has one magical ability that represents their goddess. Try to pick a power that gives you some wiggle room. Like if you’re a child of din and simply say Fire. You can do a lot of things with that. If you say “Fireball.” Then that’s all your character can do is make fireballs. Again, try to give yourself some creative room. Occupation: What do they do now? What is their job? Current Story: Similar to occupation, explain how they started off as an orphan and how they got to where they are now. If we go from Chapter One to Chapter Two, then everything that happens in Chapter One will fall into the story for Chapter Two. So your character will have a living history. Sounds fun, huh?
1. Do not come to this game to argue. If you read over this recruitment thread, and saw something that you didn't like, then move on. 2. Whatever the GM says goes. I try to be fair to the best of my ability. However, I do not try to please the world nor do I care to. If we discuss an issue and we can't seem to come to an agreement, then it is best that the issue is dropped. 3. If someone chose the goddess you wanted. The best concept is going to be placed in the game, so still submit your CS. You never know if your CS will be chosen over another person's. 4. Images. Be mindful of the size of your images. If it is too big for the screen, then put a hider around it or make it a url. 5. Read my Game. I did not write this for my health. I wrote this mostly for you than for me. The number one way to get on my shit list is to show me that you didn't read my game. The best way you do this is by frequently asking me questions that are answered in the damn OP. If I suspect you're not thoroughly reading this OP, then I'm going to stop caring and you're not going to be allowed in this game. Why would I allow a person whose hand I would have to hold throughout the game because they don't want to read a freakin' text role play game on a text role play site? 6. GM questions. If you ask a question, mention me. If you're talking to me, mention me. If you want my attention mention me because that is what that button is for. If it looks like I ignored you, 99.9% of the time it is because you didn't mention me and I lost your comment or question in the OOC flood. Mention me. Mention me. Mention me. I have to repeat this because people don't do it. 7. Edits, Changes, Finish your CS. If you finish your CS, and you do not resubmit the CS, then I'm not going to know that you finished it. I will not be checking YOUR CS to make sure you finished it. So if you want to be in this game, as soon as you finish your CS, or make any changes the GM may have asked you to make to your CS, you either let the GM know or you resubmit it. If you do not do these two things, I miss your CS, and the game starts without you. It is your fault. Not mine. Be proactive. 8. Be open and friendly. I am very big on character interaction. It is often overlooked in games. Please collaborate with other writers in this game. This game will become way more interesting if you do. 9. Romance. I like romance. Some of us do. But if you plan on walking the borderline of the Guild rules, then take it into PMs or a 1x1. 10. Have fun. There is only so much I can do as a GM. I cannot make you have fun. I cannot make you enjoy the character that you created. I cannot make you seek out writers to collaborate with. All I do is guide the game and make sure everything goes forward and not backwards. You have to do the rest. So please make the most of this game.
Phase One: Interested Players
To be filled out as players mention interest.
Phase Two: Character Sheets submitted for Review.
To be filled out as CSes are submitted.
Phase Three: Approved Character Concepts.
To be filled out as CSes are approved. CSes submitted and competing for the same deity will take a little longer to consider. Only because usually depending on how many people are submitting a sheet, I'll be waiting only 7 days for their CS. If it's not submitted within that time frame, then the first concept may or may not win. Again, it's subjective. If your concept doesn't fit the bill, I will tell you right away so you don't have to bother competing. Only concepts that would have been approved will be considered for the competition.
Name: Celeste Age: 20 Gender: Female Race: Unknown Appearance: Celeste was named after the color of her vibrant teal-like hair. The markings on her face is not makeup. It is her natural look, making her resemble a clown in appearance, which has made her the butt of all jokes since she started school. No matter what she does, she cannot make the markings go away, and she stopped trying to. She’s accepted that once the foundation has rubbed off, she is who she is—whatever that is. Her eyes are a tense aqua, standing out against a dark background (the dark circles of her eyes). Her nose is a pinkish-red and her lips a solid-cotton candy blue. The left side of her body from her neck down to her hip is tattooed with Japanese-style clouds. She got the tattoos to compliment the freak she has accepted herself to be. Celeste stands at 5’7” and weighs 135 lbs. She has an athletic physique and her electric-blue hair extends down to her shoulder blades.
Celeste has been picked on for majority of her life because of her face. Overtime, she grew a tough skin, but became distrusting of others—even those who might actually care about her. She has always had to fight her battles alone. People claiming to be her friends turned on her to remain apart of the cool crowd. Boys who she thought were supposed to respect a lady, instead wanted to bully and fight her. The females were worse. She went through a few periods in her life where she fooled everyone by wearing foundation. Boys flocked to her then, wanting to date the exotic girl. It only made her female peers jealous to the point that one day they threw water in her face just to see the makeup melt off. “The clown was still a clown.” Celeste since then, after an emotional and healing period, stopped trying to fool others and herself. She no longer hid her face and has since worn it proudly.
Unfortunately, even with her own personal acceptance, once she graduated high school, it was difficult to find a job. Employers thought she was a punk or a freak. They even thought she was crazy and had tattooed her own face. How could she explain it? She eventually found a job working for a traveling circus and has loved it ever since.
The teal-haired girl has an intolerance for bullying. While she mostly minds her own business, if a person is out-numbered or the strong are picking on the weak, she will step in to protect them if she deems the victim not at fault. She is brave. No matter the size or how menacing the foe appears, Celeste is unwavering having grown up dealing with frightening bullies. Most see her face and underestimate her (what a joke!), and they pay for it. She is a very calm and confident fighter. She studies her opponent to find their weaknesses and exploit them. She mostly fights to incapacitate an enemy unless they demonstrate to her that they deserve an ass-beating.
It takes a while for Celeste to trust a person. They can, however, earn her trust quickly under certain circumstances. She doesn’t like to be belittled, and she’s over chivalry. She never had it growing up. It’ll take a while for her to learn to trust others to have her back, but when she does, her friends will see her open up. As though a rain cloud had lifted, Celeste is all smiles and has a sense of humor. She'll often crack corny puns just to make people cringe so she can laugh at them.
Strength: 6 Ki: 4 Endurance: 5 Speed: 5
The Acrobat: Celeste is very acrobatic. Flipping, backhand springs, springing off opponents, and using the environment to reach places most average humans can’t is what she excels in. She can control her body rotations in mid-air, which allows her to safe fall from great heights. As a circus performer, her acrobatics only get better. She often experiments, always trying to perform new tricks. As an acrobat, she is advanced in calisthenics able to hold her own weight with one finger if she must and effortlessly lift herself or throw herself to reach ledges.
The Contortionist: She is extremely flexible. She can perform a split without suffering consequences and contort her body into shapes that would make most people cringe. She has a superhumanly high kinesthetic sense, knowing where her limbs are at all times and being adept at multi-tasking. Her hand-an-eye coordination is exceptional. She can dislocate her limbs and relocate her limbs, fit into cramped and tiny spaces, and make it difficult for most enemies to put her in a submission because she can noodle her way out of it.
Techniques
•The Hypnotist (Offensive): Enemies who make eye-contact with Celeste can become mesmerized without realizing it. When her technique is in effect, her cyan hair raises and oscillates like the serpentine tendrils of Medusa. Only an opponent with a strong will can break free of her hypnosis, but those who can’t are at the mercy of her suggestions. She will command them to do whatever she pleases and only she can wake them up.
•The Magician - Now You See Me; Now You Don't (Defensive): Celeste can use her ki to make an exact copy of herself. The doppelganger will leave her enemies confused, whilst they try to locate the real deal. Frequently, her doppelganger will stick her tongue out or make a childish and taunting face. One who is experienced fighting her would recognize this to be the doppel—an illusion.
•The Clown - Party Poppers (Offensive): You can’t have a party without poppers. Celeste can litter a battlefield with floating pink orbs of ki. The orbs are highly explosive and can explode on contact or when she detonates them herself. Surprise! She can even secretly plant an orb on an enemy without them knowing. Heh, they find out eventually by discovery or when they blow up. It’s more amusing when they find them. You should see their face!
•The Juggler (Offensive): No matter the size, the weight, or the amount; Celeste demonstrates her ability to juggle her enemies. Whether it be with her hands or on her knees or feet as though they’re a soccer ball. She can keep them flip-flopping for as long as she desires. Unless they know how to fly or rotate out of it of course. It’s one of her impressive circus acts. If she’s kicking or kneeing the enemy, then each knee/kick is a powerful strike.
Ultimate Technique
•Clowning Around (Defensive): The ultimate works as a mighty counter in two ways. The first way is if she is against a powerful ki-based attack. Celeste will absorb the attack, convert it to pink with her own ki, and double its power using her own ki and return it. This opportunity allows her to conserve her ki since she is doubling the power sent against her. The second way is if she is avoiding a physical attack. She will evade the attack at the last second, in which case, her ki dramatically skyrockets. Her counter attack could potentially cripple her opponent and send them flying. As she improves this technique, she’ll be able to evade in order to increase the power of her counter by storing potential energy until its kinetic release. Thus, she looks like she’s clowning around for dodging so much.
Transformation None
One night, a star fell and landed in a corn field. The corn began to burn, and an alarmed farm family raced to save them. After extinguishing the flames, they heard through the black smokescreen a baby crying. In a smoking crater, they found a child with bright-blue hair lying beneath the rubble of what could have been a strange pod. Flabbergasted and scared for the child’s life, the farm couple dug the child out and discovered the baby girl’s odd face. Her adopted mother tried to wipe the markings away, believing them to be makeup, but she only succeeded in upsetting the child. Her adopted father declared she was an alien and didn’t know what to do with her. Always desiring a child of her own, her mother decided to keep her, and they swore to tell no one about her origins. She was named Celeste and she grew up a happy girl. She played about the farm expending her youthful energy, playing with the animals, and hiding in the cornfield from the pet border collie, Samuel. It was when her parents decided that she was old enough to go to public school that Celeste’s joyful life dimmed. She didn’t understand why she had to wear makeup. Her face wasn’t a problem before. It wasn’t until the teacher discovered that she was wearing makeup (thinking it was silly) and rubbed it off that her classmates laughed at her. Celeste was traumatized by the ridicule. One moment they were nice to her, and the next they were mean calling her a “clown.” Her teachers were upset with her parents, thinking they were responsible for tattooing Celeste’s face. Her parents suffered many complaints from social services until social services took her from them.
Celeste had to live in an orphanage and attend school with her fellow orphans. Each time she had the opportunity to be adopted, she was passed over because of her face. She was eventually referred to foster care, which led her to grow accustomed to not having a permanent home. No matter where she went, she was always the clown. She fell into a period of depression where she hated going to school and would often hide from her foster parents so they couldn’t send her. It was halfway through middle school when her hormones were at their wildest that Celeste grew tired of crying, self-hating, and always hiding from the glares the cool kids gave her. She surprised everyone when she fought back, and though they continued to ridicule her, no one dared to lay a hand on her. It was when she fought her first bully that she realized she had an uncanny strength. She was stronger than most kids twice her size and weight. She also out-performed her classmates in Physical Education, which was unusual even to her gym teachers.
Celeste stopped trusting people well into her high school years. She never went to homecoming or prom. She didn’t participate in sports or clubs. One day, she learned she had a secret crush from a young man who was often bullied. She pushed aside his friendship for she only desired to finish school and never have to go to school again; and she never did after she graduated. Celeste entered the work sector and was denied multiple jobs for her look. Her calling one day arrived when the circus came to her city. After seeing the performances conducted by freaks like her, she presented herself to the ring leader, Mr. Callahan. Mr. Callahan adored her face but wasn’t convinced that she had any other talents. Celeste demonstrated her energy, performing acrobatic stunts unlike anything Mr. Callahan had seen. She was hired and Celeste never returned to her foster home. The girl had run away to join the circus—her new family—and never looked back at the normal world ever again.
Ironically, Celeste was a clown in the circus. She made people laugh and ooo! and aaah! with her tricks and acrobatic performances. The crowd loved her and not for trying to appear as someone she wasn’t. The crowd loved her for her. Celeste adored the positive attention and rooted herself in the fame.
Other
Celeste gushes over cute creatures: puppies, kitties, bunnies, etc. Animals never saw her as a freak. She likes a good ol' carnival hot dog with chili, or onions, or chili, onions, and cheese! Or even relish! An amusement park is her favorite place. There is so much to do! The bigger the roller coaster, the more excited she gets. She enjoys the games and playing in the fun houses. It resembled a spotted, red baby shark and he considered cooking the creature at first until it shocked him by giggling when he picked it up. The fish was sentient, and seeing it stare at him with its big black eyes discouraged him from eating him. Over the years, the fish’s fins grew longer until what appeared to be fingers and toes appeared at the end of them. The fish was soon swimming upright and paddling about the tank he kept him in. Bugut eventually learned that what he had wasn’t a fish but a Zora. The merchant became scared. He had found someone’s missing child! Afraid to face the wrath of Zora’s Domain, Bugut never ventured by the realm and kept Koja in the dark about his origins. He had the fish boy believe that he was the only one of his kind, and as they traveled Hyrule, Koja started to believe him. He remained Bugut’s number one attraction. People in every town paid money to see the mysterious red fish boy, and when Bugut learned that he could play guitar, they made even more money. Come see the guitar-playing Fish Boy!
Bugut was able to afford a fancy wagon and two fine mares to pull it along. It made for a quick trip through the Bokoblin-littered country and through the red nights of the Blood Moon. After passing through the treacherous Dueling Peaks, Bugut and Koja have come to Dueling Peaks Stable to rest and make a few rupees. Little did Koja know that his fish bowl was about to get much bigger.

Character Synopsis ▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔ September 2, 1921 - Mainburg, Germany
Victor Bartholomäus Killinger was born to Gerhard and Emilia. His parents owned a farm and made what money they could off the land and their animals. Gerhard was a World War I veteran who often told horror stories about the war to Victor amidst his drunk reminiscing. Something had happened to Gerhard for when he returned from battle, he was never the same man. Victor knew him to always be angry and unhappy. He drank so much that Victor once thought he had drowned himself and died. Because Gerhard spent most of his days drinking instead of helping with the farm, the family started to struggle. Gerhard blamed their struggle on Emilia, declaring that she did nothing while he was gone risking his life for the family. He would hit her in front of Victor and Victor would run to hold his mother and guard her from his father’s blows. It only made Victor a target next. Was this what the war had done? Could he have had a happy and simple life if it had never happened? Victor didn’t blame his father for he knew it hadn’t been his choice to go. He blamed the war and the people who felt it necessary to start one.
World War II
Prior to the start of the Second World War, Hitler began drafting young boys for his Hitlerjugend, his child army. Gerhard had been drafted again and had become an officer for his prior merits in World War I. He had forced his son to join, and out of fear of winding up like Gerhard, Victor had wanted to flee. Gerhard warned him that if he did run, then he would be declared a traitor and killed. Out of fear, Victor joined Hitlerjugend and wouldn't see his mother until years later.
Victor was selected to be a child officer for the Nazis praised him for having the traits of a true Aryan. Victor learned that majority of the child officers were blonde-haired and blue-eyed like him, and at fourteen-years-old, he was in command of one hundred boys who weren’t blonde and blue-eyed. One of the child officers was eventually rewarded a special jacket with the symbols of SS and directed to the front lines to fight. It was considered an honor, but Victor secretly feared it. One of the child officers noticed his decline in performance and called him out on his cowardice in front of an entire platoon. The child officer continued to ridicule him and even felt bold enough to punch him in the gut. While on the ground in the snow and mud and being laughed at by his soldiers, Victor’s mind raced over the current situation. Why was this happening? Why was he here? Why did he need to hit him? Why did they think it was funny? I want to go home. I don’t want any of this. I want to escape. There was no escape and that realization triggered something within him. It tickled him. It made him feel good. It made him laugh to the rest of the boys' confusion. Victor rose to his feet, called the other child officer a quackende Ente, and the two fought. Victor beat the kid until an adult officer was summoned to pull him off. The child officer was hospitalized and out of the war, and Victor was whipped before his jacket was returned. It hadn’t been his old jacket, but a SS jacket. The older officers were fond of his aggression and they had sent him to the front lines.
Humans liked violence. It was the only sense Victor could make of it. When France surrendered in 1940, he was 19 and serving in Paris. While in Paris, he dated a French woman who had hated him at first, believing him to be a Jew-killer. Victor hadn’t been like the other officers, which she eventually learned, and it was while dating her that he learned his French girlfriend was secretly a French-American spy by the name of Sofia Bisset. She recruited him to spy for the Americans in return of granting him U.S. citizenship once the war was over. Victor spied for the Americans and married Sofia in secret. Four years later, during the Liberation of Paris, was when Victor was forced to defect. The Nazis learned about a mole and were out to find him. Victor joined the Americans and served with them as a linguist. Sofia continued to spy until her life was taken in sudden crossfire between American and Nazi soldiers. Victor gave into the violence then and fought with the Americans on the front lines. He was given the names Vicious Vic and the German Devil by the Americans for the way he would leave the Nazis corpses in unrecognizable shape. Again, like the Nazis, they loved him for it.
The United States
The end of World War II highlighted the damage and carnage in its aftermath. Victor’s aggression had calmed to allow him to see the death and recall his own killings. The war had stopped, but he knew that wouldn’t be the last one. As promised, Victor became an American citizen and before he moved to the United States, he returned to Mainburg, Germany to check on his mother. Emilia was still alive but Victor learned that his father had perished in the war (his desired end). Victor convinced Emilia to go with him to America and together they lived in New York. To start his new life, he changed his name to Marcus Bartholomew Reid and pursued a career in the medical field. He attended New York University, earning a Bachelors of Science in Neural Science, and then acquiring his M.D. and Master’s of Arts in Bioethics from New York University Langone.
Victor remained a doctor since then through several more wars. His mother perished in 1976, pointing out something to him that he hadn't taken the time to realize before. He was always so young. It would be seen as unusual if he continued to remain in New York, so Victor changed states to Illinois, and then later to California. His relationships were loose and short-lived. It was hard for Victor to truly love again for fear that his partners would discover his abnormality.
By the time he moved to Santa Celia, California, his name had changed for the third time. Marcus Bartholomew Reid, Nathaniel Marcus Saint-John, to finally Johnathan Graham Steinberg. Santa Celia was the most unusual city he had ever lived in, and strangely, he had felt more at home in such a paranormal place than anywhere else he had ever lived. As usual, there was always much violence, and as usual, as Dr. Steinberg, the best general and neural surgeon at the St. Peregrine’s General Hospital, he would be there to clean it up.
Appearance Details ▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔
Victor is a man of average height with the build of someone who regularly works out. When he isn’t wearing his white lab coat, he can be found wearing turtleneck sweaters, scarves, long winter coats (seasonal), nice jeans, and leather shoes. Despite having resided in the United States for years, he still prefers a typical European fashion. His hair is always buzzed short. It rarely grows and when it tries to it is uneven. If he did allow his hair to grow, it would be gray and white, having lost pigmentation over the years due to the stress his powers put on his psychology. His skin is a tapestry of violence. He always keeps it covered up beneath long-sleeved shirts and other long-sleeved material and pants. No matter the weather, Victor has never been seen wearing shorts. His body is scarred all over. His face even has a few scars: one cutting in a slant across his right brow and another slanting across his scalp from his hairline to his crown. It puts an unnatural part in the buzzed follicles of his hair. Back in the day, he had the characteristics of what Nazi Germans would have praised to be true Aryan—blonde hair and bright-blue eyes.
The doctor doesn't appear his age, but not many know his true age. He appears to be in his 30s. Normally, he wears a mild and stoic expression, but as a healthcare provider he has learned to smile and grin to bring a sense of hope and comfort to his patients.
Personality ▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔
He was born into a world of violence, and he never understood why. If God exists, then why allow him to be born before the apocalypse, or why allow him to be born to a man who did nothing but hurt him and his mother? Things happen for a reason, and they don’t always make sense; but over the years, one behavior has always been the same among humans. Violence. Humans are violent creatures. They are always at conflict with each other and yet they naturally gravitate toward each other. Perhaps to inevitably cause harm to the other person whether physically or mentally—or even spiritually if you believe in such a thing. Violence has always had a love-hate relationship with Victor. Secretly, he loves violence. He likes to harm others. His mind rewards him for it. He also likes being harmed. Whether the giver or receiver or even watcher, there’s a reward he experiences.
It is frightening. For decades, Victor had to learn to deal with these feelings and hide them from those who wouldn’t understand. He tried to study himself—conduct private psychological research to prove or disprove whether or not he was a born psychopath. He eventually learned that he wasn’t insane and that despite how unusual his emotions were, he was normal. It was normal for him for he had always been that way. Even still, despite being a doctor, he regularly sees a psychologist if only just to talk about his problems.
Victor has always felt like the outsider looking in, seeing the world in a manner that others couldn’t for they were following their genetic scripts. They might have been following their pre-destined fates for all he knew. The patients he received sometimes confused him. The harm they faced was sometimes self-inflicted intentionally and unintentionally and when unintentional, the patient always knew what they did was foolish and yet did it anyway. If he didn’t force himself to smile or speak with zest, then he would describe himself to be pretty empty. His tone and expression are often described to be very mild and indifferent by his psychologist.
Humans are born with conflict in their DNA. They will always find a reason to fight, destroy, and murder one another. Victor decided that rather giving into violence, he would use his violent energies for good. Surgery was violent, but a mild form. It still gave him his rush, but he could use it to save lives. And if ever a human or any creature—because the world is unnatural—if ever a man, beast or thing wished to unleash their violent tendencies on him or anyone he cared for, then he will always be the most violent. He will be their nemesis.
Abilities & Skills ▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔
//Abiliites:
Conflict Energy | Victor has the ability to absorb conflict energy. It happens naturally outside his control. No matter whether he is being violent, another is committing violence, or violence is happening around him, his body takes it in. This violent energy numbs his body to pain, giving him a high pain tolerance. It puts him on a high that greatly amplifies his senses and enhances his physical and mental capabilities to superhuman levels. The more violence, the more chaos, the more people involved, the stronger he gets. Against a single powerful foe, the more violent that foe is, the stronger Victor becomes in conjunction. This energy has nourished Victor’s body in a unique way that eating, drinking, and sleeping doesn’t. The conflict energy feeds his cells, granting him rapid regeneration when engaged in violence, and it has granted his very being longevity.
Limitation(s) | The violence is addicting in high doses. Victor can lose himself, especially in traumatic situations. Unlike a berserker, Victor is completely conscious and aware of his surroundings. He just loves it, and he doesn’t care how much harm he is inflicting on the person who earned it. The conflict energy doesn’t allow him to do anything beyond what a human is capable of. He can’t suddenly fly, shoot energy beams, or transform into an entirely new creature. His natural human capabilities are elevated to superhuman levels only through violence. Fearing losing himself to his dark passion, Victor found a job which suits his goals. As a surgeon, he is inflicting a soft level of violence on his patients, which increases his focus and precision, making him the renowned doctor he is known as today. This gives him his regular dose of violence at safe levels.
His regeneration doesn't allow him to instantly restore lost limbs once a conflict has ended. If by the end of a conflict, his arm hasn't regenerated, then it won't regenerate until the next exposure opportune exposure to conflict energy.
Weakness(es) | Victor is a man who struggles with hiding his sadomasochism. His secret love for violence. It has often led him to question whether he was truly a good person or not. This self-questioning makes him susceptible to manipulation not only by paranormal means but by regular means. He constantly seeks counsel from a psychologist so that he can be reminded that he’s a good person. He saves lives every day so that he can feel like a good person and not the demon he is keeping at bay. If he was to describe what he feels, he would describe the feeling to be a demon (it’s not a demon or an entity of any sort). It’s hot. It’s numbing. It horrifies him and yet it exhilarates him. It overwhelms him and makes him feel like he’s on the highest point of the planet. But violence has taken so much from him. As much as he tries to stay away from it, like a predator, it always seems to find him.
While in a violent state, as accelerated as his body’s processes are, there is a stress being placed on his brain. It has led to his hair falling out, losing pigment, and him losing a piece of himself gradually overtime. His emotions become milder and milder. It is getting to the point where he doesn’t even feel present at times. Victor doesn’t know what will happen to him as he continues to exist. He finds himself becoming insensitive, and it isn’t a good quality a doctor should have. He struggles to continuously act in a sympathetic and caring manner, but he finds it harder and harder to care at times. Is it bad that other doctors often ask him to deliver bad news to families because he's so good at it?
Outside the violence, Victor is as normal as any other person. The injuries that are healed by his regenerative processes leave behind scars often ugly to look at. He keeps them covered up for he doesn't wish to draw attention to himself.
//Skills:
Nerve Recognition | Victor not only knows the nerves on a person’s body that allow them to move properly, but also the locomotive capabilities in the brain. Couple that with being a surgeon makes him a deadly combatant. Enemies can find themselves damaged beyond natural repair.
Master Surgeon | Victor can patch up and even re-attach a person’s limbs with nerve function intact. An interesting plot would be if someone ever asked him to transplant inhuman parts into a human being. He just might do it out of curiosity.
Drug Knowledge | He is familiar with most drugs and anesthetics. An investigator could ask for his educated opinion and there’s a high chance they’ll get an answer on the first go.
Pathology | While not a pathologist, Victor has worked with hundreds of patients with various diseases and illnesses. An investigator may be able to pick his brain.
Accuracy | His hand and eye coordination is above-average even without conflict energy. The brain is a sensitive place to operate in. With a weapon, this deadly accuracy can frighten most enemies.
Supporting Cast ▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔
Anne Fitzgerald | Nurse and “FB.” Anne loves John, and she doesn’t keep it a secret from him. She hopes to one day win his affection, but knows that he is struggling with something. They tend to spend more time in the hospital together than outside. She doesn’t know about his other lover.
Kevin Schneider | Anesthesiologist and “FB.” Kevin has gravitated toward John not only because he’s handsome and has an odd “seasoned” presence to him, but because he’s also German-American and his family’s heritage is German. Kinship! He likes practicing his German with John and desires to one day become an actual couple with him. Damn Anne! She’s probably the reason why John won’t go out with him!
Dr. Noland Brown | Psychologist. He sees that John is struggling almost as though he’s on the verge of imploding or becoming the thing he fears. He makes sure to keep himself available to John whether on the phone or in person and when he’s not available, he tries to find another psychologist to counsel him in his place. Unfortunately, that doesn’t always workout.

Platform City is the majestic capital of the video game universe known as Arcade. It is here where the prestigious leaders of the seven major kingdoms gather and discuss matters of The Balance. The Balance is what keeps the realms from crossing over, but it has been disturbed come late. A virus has breached The System. It is an agent so contagious; so corrupting that The Seven have come to address it as the Mugen Virus; the M-Virus; the Infinite Virus. While heroes cringe at the prospect of the virus warping the entire system, the villains grasp it lecherously. They see it as a higher evolutionary. Finally, vengeance. Taking the kingdoms of Arcade is only a matter of keeping the heroes oblivious to how the virus works and how it can be stopped. The Seven realize that they would need to summon Arcade's mightiest heroes -- old and new. If nothing is done to quarantine and delete the virus, then the realms would converge; realities would warp; and stories would be undone.
Note: These are not the only kingdoms in which players can choose characters to play from. This is just a small list of the top gaming companies, and those selected to represent the seven major kingdoms in this game.
Platform City is a crossover dimension, and the capital of the video game universe. In Tetris Castle, the rulers of the seven largest kingdoms: Nintendo, Konami, Capcom, Bethesda, Ubisoft, Square Enix, and Blizzard; come together in a summit once a year to discuss the stability of the video game world. Unfortunately, due to an emergency, a meeting was called sooner than intended. An unknown video game virus has infiltrated the universe and has led to the corruption of several worlds. The seven rulers of the seven major kingdoms have summoned the greatest warriors to venture out to these corrupted kingdoms and purge them of the enemy virus dubbed the Mugen Virus.
Players will choose one hero from any video game franchise with the exception of certain Japanese video games. If the anime, film, literature did not originate as a video game, then players are not allowed to choose characters from such games. Other prohibited franchises are Marvel, DC, and Disney (to include Star Wars and Kingdom Hearts (due to the Disney characters being in the game)).
After players have managed to complete an entire mission with their one character, those players who have remained dedicated and who are still a part of the game will be allowed to unlock a second character option. For now, I am only permitting one character to be selected to control the character traffic and to permit players to have a better chance of acquiring their first choice.
Players are not permitted to play villains. Villains already have a place in this game.If a player goes inactive, then his or her character will be relieved and tossed back into the dibs pool. The story that that character left behind will no longer be significant for the new player that adopts that character will have free reign to play that character as though the character were anew. Reset!
Players are not permitted to bend the gender of the hero character UNLESS the gender was interchangeable in the game. For example, a player can play Link and another can play Linkle. Although they are similar in appearance, they are different characters. A second example is Commander Shepard. In Mass Effect, the player could make Commander Shepard either a male or a female, but there will be only one Commander Shepard. By now, I am sure that you understand.
Physical Damage: This attribute determines physical damage. (P)Defense: This attribute determines physical resistance to physical damage and critical damage as well as tenacity to certain physical afflictions such as: poison, disease, and drugs that affect the character’s mental (drug afflictions on the brain) or physical state. (M)(E)Defense: This attribute determines magical/energy resistance to magic/energy damage and critical damage as well as tenacity to certain magical/supernatural afflictions such as: curses, illusions, psychokinetic attacks, and any magical/supernatural effect that can alter the character’s psychology or spiritual status. Magic/Energy: This attribute determines magical/energy damage. Dexterity: This attribute determines speed, accuracy, and evasion. Critical Damage: For every point placed into Physical/Magic/Energy Damage and Dexterity, the percent of critical damage rises. Every 5 points in Dexterity and PM/E-Damage will grant a 5% chance increase. Remember, five points in both categories not just one or the other.
Every character who joins this game will be given 5 stat points to distribute throughout the 5 attribute categories. All sheets start with 1/1/1/1/1 so you will add five points to that. All characters start at Level One, and as they earn experience, they have the ability to level up. Each time a character levels, the player will earn 5 stat points to arrange how they like. It does not matter who you choose to role play, with these stats, your character's strength and weaknesses will be determined by where you allocate the points. Lara Croft can be just as powerful as Asura if that character's stats are better. It does not matter who you choose to role play.
The character code that I give you to help you fill out your CS is a guide. Just follow what it says. I promise you that it is easy. Be also sure to refer to the profile sample if you need a visual.
Experience
Experience is awarded in two ways: 1) In game Only During Missions when bosses—main or minor—are defeated along with minions, and 2) by player word count. I reward literacy. The players and the GM will keep track of the experience points achieved. Every experience bar starts at 10 experience for level 1. As players level up, the experience bar will increase by 10. So for example, the experience bar of a level 2 character is 20. This means that a character must earn 20 points worth of experience in order to advance to level 3. The GM has the right to deny a character experience points. If a writer posts a post with no purpose and is believed to have contributed nothing, then a GM will deny that writer experience. This system is supposed to be rewarding. If you try to abuse it or manipulate it, you will be denied experience and then you will be asked to leave the game.
100 words = 1 experience point 200 words = 2 experience points 300+ words = 3 experience points
The experience reward may increase as characters grow in level.
You can keep track of your acquired experience by posting the points at the end of your post (or bottom of your post), or by writing it to your character’s character profile (which the GM encourages you to do both). Players can receive experience points regardless of where the character is in the game with this system.
Character Name: (The name of your video game character.)
Title: (If you are playing a classic and highly renowned character, then the title of “Legend” will be bestowed upon them. The Legend title only means that your character to NPCs and other characters is highly reputable like a hero of legend. The video games that earn legend must be older than 2002.)
Kingdom: (If your character does not hail from the seven major kingdoms, then state the game company they come from.)
Visual Description: (Image)
Written Description: (Your character does not have to look like their video game depiction. You could make them taller, shorter, have different clothes, scars, tattoos, hair dye, etc. However, if your character does not normally wear armor, then you cannot have them wear it. Armor or special armors can be earned in game. For those animal characters, you can make them humanoid or anthropomorphic. Get creative.)
Personality: (Just a basic run-down. You don't have to write a psych analysis.)
Game: (Just by stating what game (or series)/your character comes from, you have summed up that character’s background. Because we can easily look it up)
Current Story: (All right; so I understand that some characters may have died in their stories. In this section, you can write how they managed to live again, survive, or if they never died, what have they been doing all this time?)
Weapon(s): (What you will put here is the weapon or weapons your character has initially. Like, level 1, start of their respective game. Any other weapons will be acquired in game or as a level up.)
Stat.
Level One
You have 5 stat points to distribute how you like. (P)Damage 1 (This attribute governs how much damage your character outputs. When you have 5 pts in this attribute as well as Dexterity, then your character will earn 5% critical damage for every five points placed in those attributes. This does not stack with magic/energy damage.) (P)Defense 1 (This attribute determines physical resistance to physical damage and critical damage as well as tenacity to certain physical afflictions such as: poison, disease, and drugs that affect the character’s mental (as far as drug afflictions on the brain) or physical state.) (M)(E)Damage 1 (This attribute governs the amount of magic or energy your character outputs. Energy is defined as chi, ki, or energy produced by advanced technology or a pseudoscience-explained mutation. When you have 5 pts in this attribute and dexterity, you will earn 5% critical damage for every 5 pts in those attributes. This does not stack with physical damage.) (M)(E)Defense 1 (This attribute determines magical/energy resistance to magic/energy damage and critical damage as well as tenacity to certain magical/supernatural afflictions such as: curses, illusions, psychokinetic attacks, and any magical/supernatural effect that can alter the character’s mental or spiritual state.) Dexterity 1 (This attribute determines speed/reaction time, accuracy, and evasion. If another character or an enemy’s dexterity is higher, then you will find it difficult to evade their strikes. They will also be faster than you. So basically, the more points you have in dexterity, the better chance you’ll have to survive.) 0% (This is critical damage. Everyone starts at 0%.) XP ////////// (0/10) (This is your starting experience bar. It will increase by 10 pts every time you level. For example, lv 2 it is 20. Lv 3 it is 30, etc.)

General Abilities
Slot One. (Every character starts at level one and so will have one ability slot until they ascend to level two and so on. Abilities are powers your character displays that they do not innately have. These would be powers that they would get later in their game or would have to buy from their in-game merchant. All general abilities are abilities from that character's specific game. They should have one purpose. A healing ability should heal. If you have a fireball that is meant to be lobbed at a foe, then that is all it should do. You cannot have three different abilities in one ability.
When your character levels up, you have the option to acquire a weapon rather than an ability. Or acquire an ability and not a weapon. Every character is different and comes from different worlds so tailor him or her how you see fit.)
Special Abilities
Slot One. (Special abilities are abilities your character can acquire from completing missions in other worlds outside their own. If a character is conducting a mission in a universe outside the game universe they're originally from, then as he or she levels up, he or she can acquire a Special Weapon or Special Ability from that game's universe. Remember, these abilities can only be acquired on a mission in a game universe different from the universe your character is from. Your character also has to have leveled up in order to acquire this ability. You must also choose to spend your level up on either a General Ability/Weapon or a Special Ability/Weapon. You cannot spend a level up on both.)
Items (There will be three open slots in every character’s item bag. These slots are for items that characters can acquire in game. For now, the slots are empty. I want there to be a logical explanation for where and how a character acquired a Hi-Potion or an Extra Man. The GM will award characters items/Special Items at the end of missions and events that character can hold onto. They may even acquire an increase in inventory space as a reward.) Slot One. Slot Two. Slot Three.
Strengths
(These are natural abilities innate to your character. A character might have inhuman strength making him or her stronger than an average human. A character might be a beast and have heightened senses. They may be a dragon and can fly. Write out 4 strengths. If you need more, then PM the GM to discuss it.
Strength is a subjective category. Therefore, strength is not measured in the attributes. Instead, damage output is all that really matters. If you have a character with demigod strength, but you didn't invest points in (p)damage, then regardless what you have written here, they will do pitiful damage. I don't care if your character lobbed the titanic at another character, that ocean liner is going to hit that character like a rubber ducky. Please be logical. If you got a character that is a physical powerhouse, then invest in it. Also be mindful that although you may be playing a character who was stronger and faster than God in his or her universe, in the "crossover universe" you will be interacting with characters who were bad asses in their universe too. In the crossover-verse, all characters are on equal ground until you manage to level them through your hard, creative, fun work.)
Weaknesses
(No video game character is perfect. They may have shown weaknesses in games such as pitfalls, slippery slopes, can’t swim, can’t fly, can't jump over a damn 1 foot fence, etc. You should list those weaknesses here.)
Achievements
(Throughout your Project Crossover experience, your character or the group can be awarded “Achievements.” They don’t do anything special but act as a trophy and give you a memory to look back on. You never know when you’ll do something achievement-worthy but when you are awarded one, collect it and place it here.)
Note: Yes, this is a legit character in the game.
Title: Legend
Kingdom: Nintendo
Written Description: Mario is a 5’9” 175 lbs Italian-inspired man with dark-brown hair and blue eyes. One of his eye-catching allures is his masculinity. Interesting enough is his prized mustache that he refuses to ever shave. He wears dark-blue suspenders that are smudged in grease and sometimes mold from working the pipes or the plumbing when he’s making “house calls.” He has been known to wear other casual clothes besides his trademark uniform with a fondness for the colors red and blue. Mario's demeanor radiates security for he can be quite threatening to those who would dare bring harm to anyone he cares about or himself.
Personality: Mario is rather optimistic. He has to be when working such a shitty job. He is a master plumber and Mr. Fix-It. He is also a veteran of the tunnels around the Mushroom Kingdom having killed many creatures and undead clogging up the pipes. Mario will try to be a gentleman, but if anyone throws that back in his face, then he can just as easily be an a-hole. He doesn’t mind helping someone in need, in his numerous cases, housewives when the man is gone damsels in distress.
In the Mushroom Kingdom, Mario is very reputable despite his secret stash of red mushrooms, fire flowers, et al, and his womanizing. He is the go-to-guy for everyone’s problems, and therefore, is a busy man who is rarely found in his office. If he’s not in his office, then he can be found working somewhere about the kingdom.
The plumber is a fearless and tough man. You do not want to pick a fight with this guy. He has come a long way with his physique. Years of being criticised for being plump in the past have drove him to take his health and image more seriously. He still has a big appetite when it comes to good food, but maintaining his heroic figure for the ladies has become his sole motivation to stay in shape.
Game: Donkey Kong (1981 - as Jumpman), Mario Franchise and Smash Bros.
Current Story: Mario has been elusive recently. He has been missing from the Mushroom Kingdom for some time and with the news of the Mugen virus springing up, his friends have become worried. The hero has never overlooked a crisis, and so with the summoning of heroes, his people are hoping that the legend will emerge.
Weapon(s):Power Hammer - not to be confused with the Super Hammer that grants him invincibility for a brief amount of time, the hammer is Mario’s basic weapon. Whatever he can't destroy with his fists and jumps, he’ll resort to Old Faithful. The hammer is almost as big as he is and just as heavy. Mario wields it with ease and anyone with above human strength could do the same. With the basic hammer, Mario can destroy brittle and natural obstacles.
Lv 1Power Jump - One iconic ability that Mario is mostly known for is his jumping skill. With Power Jump, he can leap great heights and perform aerial acrobatics to reach places most humans can’t. He can launch himself into the air with enough force to smash through bricks and to stomp down on the heads of susceptible enemies.
Special Abilities
Slot One.
Items
Slot One. Slot Two. Slot Three.
Strengths
Superhuman Strength - Mario is stronger than the average human. He can wield his Power Hammer with ease and he has shown numerous feats of strength such as restraining a Chain Chomp, tossing the evil Bowser, lifting King Bob-omb, uprooting a fortress and kicking it away, and stunning a Mega Goomba. He has kicked down great walls and knocked opponents into oblivion in Smash Bros.
Melee - Not exactly known for his combat skills, but Mario has shown that he can do more than lob fireballs and stomp enemies in the arena. He is a fearsome fighter that can hold his own.
Athlete - Mario has participated in several sport competitions: golf, tennis, racing, baseball, and more. He is quite the all-around athlete.
Extremely Versatile - From the Mushroom Kingdom to space, Mario has cameoed in several games and seems to fit in without difficulty. He can adapt to any situation and any setting, making him a “jack-of-all-trades.” There isn't a role too big for him to fill. He has even been a doctor for crying out loud!
Weaknesses
Naturally, Mario is incapable of flight. He is susceptible to pitfalls, but interesting enough not free falls depending on the game. He has difficulty traversing lava and slippery/icy terrain without help. When using his fabled mushrooms, flowers, leaves, feather, etc. The effect of his powers immediately fade when he sustains damage. He’s not the brightest bulb in the box, but he isn't a dummy either. He is the type to just charge in and improvise along the way. As previously mentioned, damsels in distress are a weakness, especially if they’re hot.
The way combat will work in this game is the villains will be run by either the GM or a trusted player.
Players will write their characters making what is called an attempt. You will attempt to strike the enemy, but you will not confirm it happening. You can say what could possibly be the result if your character was to succeed with the attack, but you cannot say that the attack succeeded. The GMs will determine what amount of damage your character outputs based on his or her stats, technique, and how much is received based on the secret stats and level of the enemy. Yes, if a character had an ability like "Scan" from Final Fantasy, the stats and level of the enemy would be revealed. But back to the explanation.
Here is an example of a correct combat post:
Joyce curled her fingers into a large fist and swung at Billie's jaw.
It is very important to always specify where exactly your attack is intended. The GM rewards description. If you write vague, then the GM will finish your response for you and cause the attack to hit where you probably didn't intend. So it is very important to pay attention. This battle strategy makes combat challenging, fun, and rewarding. When you get good at it, you'll probably be able to gloat about your skills to pay close attention to detail.
Here is an example of a vague combat post:
Joyce curled her fingers into a large fist and swung at Billie.
Notice how Joyce didn't state where she was swinging. Billie at this point can easily dodge her attempt because loophole-granted, he can say Joyce swung wherever.
Here is an example of a bad combat post where the writer completed the action without GM judgment:
Joyce curled her fingers into a large fist, swung at Billie's jaw and broke it. While he fell over clutching his face, she stood over him with a cocky smirk and said, "Suck it!"
I hope you now understand what is the right thing to do in a combat scenario and what is the wrong thing to do. If you ever decide to have your character spar another player's character, then by writing only attempts, you show each other courtesy. If players want to challenge a move, then they can call the GM forth to judge the disputed action. Understand that whatever the GM decides is final. Do your best to try and discuss it in PM and let the GM be the last resort.
Squads were added to the game to make it fun and competitive in good sport as well as to provide a way for the game to constantly take in new players. Alpha Squad is the initial entry squad for all new players. Alpha Squad will go on missions more suited for their level; and after those missions, depending on how the heroes perform, they can be assigned to the veteran squads.
Some writers may start their characters off as rookies to dabble in the pleasure of full-on character development and progress. This is absolutely fine. The option to leave the rookie level to ascend will always be open to you.
Delta Squad
Delta is where the elite heroes go. “Elite” is not determined by whether a character is a legendary or not or by how bad-ass they were in their game. It is determined by the hero’s performance. Initially, heroes may make it to this team because they performed well during the first mission, but the assignment is not permanent. Heroes can always be dropped to the next lowest squad if they become complacent or if other heroes surpass them. The Delta team go on missions at the highest difficulty. While being a part of this honored team is gloat-worthy, the mortality rate is higher. As a GM, my role is not to kill-off heroes but to make the mission as fiction-realistically difficult to match the level and squad your character is assigned. The rewards for completed missions are worth it, including the reward of your character having survived. Delta members will be placed into mentoring positions to help train the other squad members into potentially succeeding them. You never know what will happen in combat, and there must always be a hero ready to replace a fallen champion.
That’s the idea of Delta Squad any way. It sounds intense because that is the feeling that you're supposed to get. It is Delta!
Now if writers who manage to have their heroes make it to Delta want to make an initiation rite of passage for any new heroes who join in the future, by all means. Play around with the story to your heart’s content. As I said before, your playground. This goes for all of the squads.
Charlie Squad
This is probably one of the most competitive squads. Members of Charlie are right beneath Delta and have the potential to ascend any moment. By no means does being a member of Charlie, Bravo, or Alpha mean that the hero is inferior to Delta. While some immature Delta members may make them feel that way, everyone can be replaced. Charlie has the pleasure of being able to study the Delta members and tailor their leadership style as they deem appropriate so that when they become Delta, they won't make the same mistakes they have witnessed.
Charlie will at times be tasked alongside Delta as a support unit. When this opportunity arises, members of Charlie have the option of impressing and getting to know their future teammates. Charlies’s performance during a Delta-level operation may have some heroes qualify for Delta Squad.
Bravo Squad
Bravo Squad is for characters who aren’t interested in direct combat, although, some characters may be assigned as support personnel to other squads. This is the support squad whether it be medical or cybernetic. Bravo supports all the other squads up-close and at a distance. If heroes need to be extracted from a perilous situation, dropped off for silent infiltration, or if heroes need a system hack that is the duty of Bravo!
Alpha Squad
This is the squad for characters who have a lot to learn or who are joining the game for the first time. This is the initial entry squad. Heroes apart of this squad will have a chance to advance to other squads after completing an Alpha-level mission. Missions in Alpha tend to have a low to medium difficulty. This squad is to get those players adjusted to the game or to act as a plot point for those writers who want to develop their characters at a pace under their control.
1. Do not come to this game to argue. If you read over this recruitment thread, and saw something that you didn't like, then move on. 2. Do not abuse the system. This game is meant to be fun and to allow players freedom to play their favorite characters to their interpretation. We're all adults here (most of us) so please be mature and act like one. Do not try to cut the corners on the system laid out here. 3. Whatever the GM says goes. I try to be fair to the best of my ability. However, I do not try to please the world nor do I care to. If we discuss an issue and we can't seem to come to an agreement, then it is best that the issue is dropped. 4. If someone chose the character you wanted, then compromise. If the player does not want to give him or her up, I'm sorry. Be creative and find someone else or move on. 5. If you need help with the stat system, the GM will help you. Do not overthink it. I promise you that it isn't that difficult and once you get the hang of it, you'll think, "No sweat!" 6. Images. Be mindful of the size of your images. If it is too big for the screen, then put a hider around it or make it a url. 7. 8. 9. Be open and friendly. I am very big on character interaction. It is often overlooked in games. Please collaborate with other writers in this game. This game will become way more interesting if you do. 10. Romance. I like romance. Some of us do. But if you plan on walking the borderline of the Guild rules, then take it into PMs. 11. Have fun. There is only so much I can do as a GM. I cannot make you have fun. I cannot make you enjoy the character that you created. I cannot make you seek out writers to collaborate with. All I do is guide the game and make sure everything goes forward and not backwards. You have to do the rest. So please make the most of this game.
April 22, 2017 – Odinsphere The Council has gathered all the video game heroes from across The System to battle the epidemic caused by the Mugen Virus. Their first ever mission was to travel to Odinsphere to help a general whose land was in peril. Unfortunately, the group learned that the general was hoping to use them to help him secure the Ring Titrel that would give him the power to control The Cauldron and bring Erion’s (the world) end. The group managed to foil General Brigan’s plans and defeat Odin at the expense of the legendary hero Mario. The war in Odinsphere is not over, but to return would require the group to grow much stronger. The group returns to Platform City to rest and recover from tragedy as well as to welcome new additions to the cause.
December 17, 2017 - Smash Arena 2017 - Sparx's Request
The Smash Arena run by Steve Fox and Moneybags had an annual tournament that a few of the Project Heroes secretly got involved in. Unable to resist the urge to Smash, our heroes fought, battling multiple heroes from other game universes. While the 1x1 tournament was won by The Guardian, James Varrock, the tag team matches were interrupted by an unexpected intruder. The intruder was Gnasty Gnorc who had arrived with a small army to secure the dragonfly known as Sparx. It was revealed that Moneybags was the one who had captured Sparx and sold information to Gnasty Gnorc. Aided by the half-genie Shantae, Sparx was freed and able to escape before he could be recaptured. He told the heroes to meet him at the Save Point once they have managed to deal with Gnasty and his minions. Gnasty Gnorc revealed that he was infected and began firing infected lesions upon his minions and bystanders hoping to infect the already vaccinated heroes. The heroes managed to avoid getting infected and brought swift justice to Gnasty. That wasn’t all, the audience members needed to be evacuated. Due to the possibility of one of them being infected after the spread, Guile ordered the security forces, the Green Army Men led by The Colonel to kill any of the civilians who attempted to escape quarantine. The egg stealer unsuccessful at stealing the dragonfly or the phoenix down, attempted to flee during the chaos until he was confronted by Shantae and James. The egg stealer revealed that it was also infected becoming a monster known as the Body Snatcher and attempted to snag innocents to shove into its demonic sack. The innocents that emerged were critically infected and about to transform into more beasts to add to the minions Naija was already battling. The heroes were overwhelmed with trying to save the innocents and dealing with the current threat. Guile appeared to stop the Body Snatcher once and for all and currently awaits explanation.
I know you noticed that there is a lot to read. I have put all of that information in hiders intentionally because besides the opening post, your attention needs to be here. The Free Section is going to be the multiverse location for Alpha Academy. Alpha Academy is where new players to the Project Crossover game universe will go. While you are in the Alpha Academy, you will be learning how to use the game mechanics in a role played tutorship. Veterans from the PXO main game will at times crossover to Alpha Academy and watch your character’s training.
Your goal in Alpha Academy is to learn the basic system and complete a mission with your assigned team. Depending on how well you complete the mission, you will have the opportunity to move over into the main game, which is located in Casual Roleplay. These characters listed below are not only the characters of veteran players, these characters are taken and are to be treated in-game as high-class officers. The writers of these players have been writing in PXO for 1-2 years and so deserve the in-game respect. One day, you too will have the chance to become a veteran of PXO, and you may be asked to return here to mentor the future. Not all characters from the main game are mentioned here because they are currently still on Alpha status and are completing their final mission that will have their ranks change. Thus, those listed below are the current non-Alpha officers.
Again, your character may see these officers show up. As the current players on mission finish, you may see an update in this list. For now, let’s continue.
The Drill Instructor (DI) for the Alpha Academy is going to be The Prince from Prince of Persia. He is one of the Seven Council members in the game. Originally, it was going to be Guile from Street Fighter, another council member. However, currently, he is injured in the main game and will not be able to make it. To help start you all off on choosing a character, I have listed all the characters who are taken in the main game below:
Taken Characters: Mario, Mr. President (Saints Row IV), Cloud Strife, Taric (League of Legends), Captain Piper (Steamworld Heist), Fox McCloud, Banjo & Kazooie, Naija (Aquaria), Slayer (Guilty Gear), Frisk Dreemurr (Undertale), Six (Little Nightmares), Cuphead, Heavy (Team Fortress 2), Bently (Sly Cooper), and Akira Kurusu (Persona 5).
Reserve a character with the GM, work on a CS, and we’ll start the academy with an in-game orientation. What will help your progression from Alpha Academy to the main game is being able to post over 300 words. The word count experience bonus has been decreased for Alpha Academy, however, when you move over to the main game, the requirements will be raised. The minimum requirement is being able to post 300 words. If you are not capable of doing this, then you will remain in Alpha Academy on Alpha status until you have improved. This academy is not only a fun in-game extension of a multiversal game concept. It is an actual academy for literary development and improvement. Remember, 300 words.
If you are interested, then please apply below and @mention me. This interest check will be the OP for the OOC. So treat it like the OOC. Take your time reading all of this and remember, you WILL have help if you ask for it.
This is your character’s First Name and Last Name. You can also include a Nickname here. Example: Joseph “Joe” Bomer.

The warrior without his gear stands tall and rather thick with his jutting muscles. His complexion is tanned and hair black with sickle-like sideburns. His personality tends to match his appearance: brutish, but he is kinder than his façade puts on. Intimidating, the warrior looks like quite the foe, which often inspires people who don't know him to leave him alone. There is, however, a charm that exists about the warrior. The impression he gives off of a big, dominating male tends to attract many a female, in which Lena is forced to keep back with a fist.
In his gear, no one familiar with Saiyans would have ever guessed him to be one. His tail is always comfortably wrapped about his hips and his short, bladed hair hidden beneath his headdress. It is the exchange of blows or the discovery of his tail that reveals his Saiyan blood.
Equipment/Clothing: Upon his head is a headdress crafted from the fur and bones of the White Devil. It is what gives him his stark mane that acts as his "White Lion" trademark. Upon his broad shoulders sits a mantle of brown fur and steel. A brown cape obscures the bulk of his power, trapping his body heat within a cloak of warmth. Beneath the shroud is a fur-lined, black vest and black trousers. Upon his knees are steel kneeguards and about his forearms are black steel and leather bracers. The teeth of the White Devil were fashioned into a necklace that rests against his collar. The boots at his feet complete his arctic ensemble, estimating the weight of his equipment to be 145 lbs.
White Devil Crown: Designed by Grisha from the dense bones of the monster yeti known by the villagers of Kosetsu as The White Devil, the headdress alone weighs 45 lbs. It is more than just a crown. It is his identity and memento of his birth into his frozen home.
______P E R S O N A L I T Y_______
Since waking from his coma, Grisha is rather free-spirited and unbound. The warrior goes where ever he pleases, when he pleases, and sometimes he won't return for days, which makes Lena worried sick. The Saiyan has learned to speak coherent sentences from Lena, but with him being so aloof, his speaking ability is still mediocre, neither entirely primitive nor advanced.
The warrior's desire to train overcame his desire to learn the etiquette Lena tries to educate him with. Grisha is simply downright barbaric from his bad manners, to his ability to smell on the level of a bloodhound, and to his appetite. The guardian often returns from being away when summoned by the Lion Horn. It is a horn carved from bone, which is blown in emergencies. It is wise for a visitor in Kosetsu village to not start trouble. If the horn is ever blown on him or her, they will face the fury of the lion. An enemy of Kosetsu village is an enemy of Grisha's "'nough said."
The Saiyan can't resist a challenge. He loves being able to throw some punches with a sparring partner or most of all, one that can give him a good fight. One of his biggest stereotypes is that the warrior is unintelligent because of the way he speaks. On the contrary, if challenged, his opponent will find that he is quite clever if not reckless.
Due to his mental deficiency, Grisha sometimes has irrational bouts of emotion in the form of rage or frustration triggered by something indefinite. No one knows what triggers these attacks, but its been assumed from witnessing certain situations that its when his brain is trying to remember or recall something to mind that just isn't there or accessible.
Overall, the warrior is a handful, and when around people, he needs constant supervision. The warrior isn't afraid to say it like it is, and is unaccustomed to the advanced technology that exists outside his home region.
______H I S T O R Y_______
A General
The Saiyan's existence goes back to the time of the Saiyan-Tuffle war. Grisha, at the time known as Oniyon, was apart of King Vegeta's Saiyan Elite and took part in the destruction of the Tuffle race. He served King Vegeta like a dog until Frieza's treachery started wiping out one Saiyan after another. When King Vegeta chose to storm Frieza's ship, petrified by the power he sensed fluctuating from the vessel, Oniyon stayed behind and abandoned his king and homeland. Shame rested heavily on his shoulders during his shuttle ride across the cosmos. His conscience berated him with logic and how the Saiyans should have retaliated until they were strong enough to rival Frieza and his lackeys. His honor was crushed and whilst in his depression, his pod approached a planet unlike he had ever seen before. His pod broke the atmosphere to plunge haphazardly into a snowy scape. It crashed into the base of a mountain and at the foot of a frozen lake. The chilling waters and temperature penetrated the capsule, and in his terror, the ice had taken him.
Coma
The mysterious meteor that had crashed in the mountains attracted the people of the nearby village Kosetsu. Subordinates of the village chief were sent to investigate the impact site and when they returned, they brought with them on a sled a mysterious orb. With ice picks and mallets, they broke the ice about the pod and forced open its hatch to find frozen within a man donning a uniform unfamiliar to them--and they hadn't seen much living in the mountains their entire lives. The people were unsure if their find was man or alien, but it was dubbed that the creature, whatever he was, was dead. The village chief ordered the body to be thawed in the hot spring and given a proper burial. As commanded, the body was thawed, and the still waters became disturbed by oxygen bubbles. To the people's awe, the alien had survived but was in a deep coma.
The White Lion
There was a wicked creature that occasionally attacked the village. Twelve feet with horns like a devil, the yeti would terrorize Kosetsu village, devouring their herds, children, and those vulnerable enough to be caught. The White Devil came unpredictably once a month and would consume twenty villagers before its appetite was satiated. As the people scattered in fright from the devil's presence, the alien was unguarded and became vulnerable. The alien's caretaker Lena tried to deter the devil from reaching him, but held tightly by her father, she was unable to do so.
The White Devil found him and hefted him above his jaws. Dangling the naked Saiyan above rows of blade-like teeth, the Saiyan harshly woke and unleashed an enraged scream. The decibels of his scream shook the yeti down to his cells until he exploded, having been ripped apart by the assault. Bathed in blood and screaming irrationally, the villagers thought they were observing a lion, bellowing his dominance over a kill as his tail thrashed about.
I Am Grisha
The alien responded to questions although slowly. His gaze was distant, and the villagers believed that his brain may have been damaged by the cold. When asked his name, the Saiyan responded ineptly with, "Gr...sh..." Lena thus named him Grisha and with her weaning, he became a respected and cherished guardian of the village.

Cold Resistance: Grisha has trained himself to mentally and physically endure the coldest temperatures of his snowy homeland. The villagers often marvel the warrior when they see him walking in nothing but shorts in the snow and ice, while they burrow beneath layers of wool and fur.
High Resilience: Grisha has trained his body in the highest altitudes where oxygen is thinnest, and the cold ones would claim to be of the ninth circle. One of Grisha's goals is to reach the top of Mount Tengoku whose summit supposedly touches the heavens. Every day Grisha braves the hike, but even with his current training, he is still unable to endure the chill without his clothes becoming weighted down with ice and risking a frostbitten digit or limb. The warrior scales as high as he can endure and trains at that level.

Basic Techniques
Shatter (Offensive): Grisha stomps the ground upon his opponent’s charging approach, causing the ground to shatter and upheaval, throwing his opponent’s balance and opening up their defense for attack.
Faint (Defensive): The bigger you are, the slower you are right? Wrong! With Grisha’s muscles inflated with ki, he can move in short, instant bursts, leaving an afterimage of himself to fool the enemy.
Steel Thyself (Defensive): Grisha will execute a stance and concentrate on hardening his body with ki, raising his defense against physical and ki attacks.
Muscle Counter (Offensive): Grisha will contract his muscles the moment an opponent’s fist or feet makes contact. The sudden bulge of his contracted muscle sends a shock through his opponent’s limbs. An average human would risk breaking their bones.
Trademark Technique
War Cry (Offensive): Grisha’s enraged scream. The decibels are so strong that the villagers of Kousetsu say that was how Grisha killed the White Devil. His scream vibrated the White Devil’s body until the yeti exploded. Best scenario, a sturdier opponent will find themselves temporarily deaf and disoriented.
Ultimate Technique
Special Delivery (Offensive):Due to Grisha’s brain damage, normally he is unable to project ki. However, plot dependent, there are times where Grisha will have episodes where he will recall an attack General Oniyon used to know. Special Delivery is that attack. A red square of violent ki will swell between his hands. Grisha will then project the red ki in a rectangular, prismatic beam. The beam is as solid as a pillar and can pierce through an enemy like a lance. Once the pillar of ki touches down on the earth. Like a stick of dynamite, it explodes bathing the vicinity in red as a dome rises and dissipates.

Lena (NPC): She is Grisha’s adoptive family. She tends to take care of Grisha like a mother does her child, except she’s the younger one. Despite being a teenager, she knows how to put her foot down when Grisha gets out of hand. Her father Tobias claims that she gets that quality from her mother (R.I.P.). Lena secretly likes Grisha, and she will become jealous of any other guy or girl who tries to flirt with him.
Tobias (NPC): He is Lena’s father and Grisha’s well…they don’t exactly see eye-to-eye. Tobias sees Grisha as a wild animal Lena brought into the house and won’t release back into the wilderness. They always butt heads, and even so, they still somewhat respect each other. Grisha will still protect Tobias if only because he’s Lena’s father.
