Misc. Markings:At the base of the back of her neck is a birthmark, the symbol of the Goddess Crest that represents Hylia. This is the marking of her “divine parent” as it were.
Misc. Clothing: Beyond what she is seen wearing in the pic, she dons a large, thick traveler’s cloak that hides her face and appearance, as well as protects her from other forms of weather and insulates her from the cold. An item acquired via trade or some other means, however so it was given to her by her mother as part of a parting gift for her journey.
Further, the Gerudo set of clothing she wears, including the sapphire earrings, protect her from heat using the ice magic contained in such gems. Meanwhile, the ruby circlet she wears grants some minor fire resistance.
Scars: - A winding, serpentine-like scar was now twisting up her right arm like a spiral. Further, she has an amount of smaller scars on her back from the same incident as the other larger scar.
Goddess: Hylia
Primary Weapon: Moonlight Scimitar (carried on right hip)
Off-hand: (none)
Projectile: Light Bow (A magic bow that conjures it's own arrows of light when the bowstring is drawn. A fragment of Hylia's power taken form, that is innately effective against darkness and evil forces like monsters. It was shed from Zelah as she took in dark magic, likely shaped into this by her inner goddess she cannot yet access to help her bear her new burden/ability moving into the future.
It is a physical item she keeps on her back for quick access.)
Magic Power:
As Hylia reborn, it would be easy to think her one "gift", that magical ability to set her apart, would be something like a holy armament, or access to one of Hylia's sealing abilities. Yet in true fashion to Hylia herself, this ability came to be a result of self-sacrifice.
In this case, Zelah was granted the power to summon monsters. This came as the result of absorbing all of that dark magic from her adoptive brother and other dark magic tomes nearby. This act, just to save Gerudus from darkness, caused Hylia's power to react to her plea. But the cost was high, as she bears this power as both a mark of her goodness...and the sign of the dangers of darkness.
On occasion the dark magic flares up inside her near large sources of dark/evil power, hurting but being a sort of “evil/dark energy detector” of sorts in this manner as a side effect.
At this stage, she can summon 2 red bokoblins to fight for her, assist her, and do tasks for her until they are dismissed. They are ultimately loyal to her without question, much like how the Calamity’s monsters are loyal to it, but the strain in summoning them means she does not like “spamming” this power. Albeit, it's uses are especially versatile, and as she learns to use this power better she can summon more numbers of and even stronger monsters. Though she has a VERY LONG way to go to actually master this at all.
Occupation: Wanderer
Current Story:
Eleven years ago, a Gerudo patrol was out in the dark of the cold desert night, searching for a fleeing Yiga agent who had tried to get into Gerudo Town that day. It was in the midst of this that, golden hair standing out among the dark sand, a young Hylian vai was found instead, collapsed upon an ancient stone among some ruins. Her feet were burnt by hot sand and worn from walking, and her meager clothes all but tattered and shredded by the unforgiving desert winds. Initially thought to be dead, when inspected it turned out she was unconscious, barely clinging to life. No adult Hylians were nearby, no signs of monsters that might have driven such a young child to flee...and barring leaving a young one to die in the desert this Hylian vai was carried back to Gerudo Town to receive care.
A week later, she woke up in the local inn of Gerudo town, not having any name, not remembering any family or parents. An orphan with a blank slate of a past, and no passing traders that braved the trip to trade with the Gerudo (unlike those who would think them a bunch of bandits and thieves) seemed to have heard about any Hylian families or refugees coming this direction with a young girl in their midst. It was at this time the child’s issue was brought to the Gerudo Cheiftain, the very woman who 2 years ago had just given birth to the Gerudo’s first male in 100 years. Though known to be strong and powerful, swift in judgement and mighty in mind, and raising the tribe’s first king in a long time, the Cheiftain herself took pity upon the child’s plight, and unsure if she could survive being taken back across the desert by traders did a surprising thing.
She adopted the child. Albeit, this was in part motivation to try to more encourage Hylian traders to come, and to show that the Gerudo were not their enemies. The girl was named in honor of both the former princess, a friend to the old Gerudo Champion, and in honor of one of the great heroes of the Gerudo’s past (Nabooru). With this, “Zelah” began a new life....or rather, the only one she’d be able to remember or know.
For many years Zelah lived within her family, and her adoptive brother, Gerudus, and her became very close. Though not bound by blood, and thought he was destined to become a king, they became as close as any blood siblings could hope to. They would talk of their worries each night upon the rooftop of their home...watching the stars and sometimes singing to keep each other awake. They trained in combat together at times, whether it was the bow or the blade. They even took to magic training together at times to help Gerudus hone his skills, at least when Gerudus was not being pulled into a cramped room with his magic teacher. They played a few pranks at a very young age upon palace guards, albeit Zelah was at times the more balancing and proactive sibling over the years, and in the eyes of their mother were equally loved as her beloved children.
And yet, the Gerudo’s dark past left openings for...the darkness of the past to seep in. As Zelah and Gerudus grew older, Zelah found her brother spending less time on the roof with her than they had been. He became more solemn, and sullen, until finally the girl’s curiosity and worry over her brother hit a high. She had to see what was going on with him, what was happening even. Thus one night, she followed him to his open bedroom on the top floor of the palace.
It was here she saw him opening some very old books, tomes that seemed to emanate a...darkness from them as the words on their pages glistened with a soft glow. In short, it was a book of dark magic, a relic of the Gerudo’s past that had been kept as a warning in modern times. A thing kept after by the Chieftain for safekeeping, to avoid it falling into the hands of the Yiga or others. Gerudus...was reading these tomes, it seemed.
Stepping into her brother’s room openly, Zelah confronted him about the matter. This power, it was like what the Calamity in their world could do, it was not what Gerudus was! Though to Gerudus, by mastering this he could combat the Calamity when it came for their people one day! The two began to argue, more and more heatedly even, with the book of dark magic falling to the ground with a thump as it was discarded briefly on the floor. Yet as the two siblings argued about the use of such magic, dark power began to build within Gerudus, beginning to fall out of his supposed “control”. Then progressed into a wave of dark magic shaking the palace as Gerudus let out a cry of agony as this power he had begun learning in secret began to let off spark and waves, and jolts of power that cut into his room like lightning bolts.
In the spur of the moment, Zelah acted. Not out of just trying to stop a disaster, but out of love for her brother. She gripped his body to stop his flailing, arcs of power hurting her in the process. Though only 10 years old, she found herself closing her eyes, praying, hoping, reaching out to whatever goddess or deity could be there to find a way to save her brother. Her last thought at the time, a sentence burned into her memory forever, was simply “I will take on this magic, this burden from him! I’ll do it, anything, to save my brother and people!”. After this, Zelah would pass out.
Waking up the next morning, she found herself in her mother’s bed, attendants and her mother present in the room. As she opened her eyes they rushed to her, her mother the Cheiftan calling out to Gerudus, who was in another room. As Zelah began to get her bearings, she asked them what had happened....and if her brother was ok. The male Gerudo youth bit his lip, remaining quiet as the room fell into a stupor of eerie silence. Noting Zelah’s confusion, her mother after a moment of hesitation spoke up, voice as strong as ever but as gentle as it could be put.
“Your brother is fine, Zelah...you have saved our peoples’ future king as well, from a dark path his ancestors took once upon a time. It is a lesson he shall remember, but...a burden you must live with.
Last night, when I and the guards came into the room, you glowed with a brilliant light. The uncontrolled dark magic coming from Gerudus, it was flowing into you. Even...the magic in that dark tome, and the others the Cheiftan’s family has guarded for many generations was flowing into you as you shone like the sun in the darkness of the night.
Once this stopped, I had you brought here and inspected. And...as it were, you seem to contain all the dark magic, even after we checked the ancient books again. Though Gerudus’ teacher noted that you seem to contain its opposite as well. A kind of...holy light, something which would balance out this magic.
We too found a shining bow near where you had been, upon returning to examine the room again. My dear daughter...i know not what sign these tidings speak of, but....to see you and your brother alive warms my heart...”
In her moment of desperation, bleeding and wanting to save a loved one no matter what she had to bear, Zelah had unintentionally and unconsciously tapped into her latent power as Hylia’s child and latest reincarnation. This event had not granted her full access to Hylia’s powers by any means, not by a longshot even, but had only arisen in answer to her most pressing moment and time of greatest need so far in her life. Yet it left her with that burden of bearing dark magic, and a holy magic bow.
Whilst the smaller injuries would heal just fine, though, a winding, serpentine-like scar was now twisting up her right arm. A mark the flares of dark magic had cut into her. So she was, as it were, permanently with this dark magic etched into her being despite it being balanced out by the holy light she possessed.
For the next three years, Zelah would be forced into training with Gerudus’ teacher for private “special sessions” on controlling the dark magic within her.
However, in these three years she became...curious. About her origins, her power, where she had come from even. She talked about it all with Gerudus, who seemed to have returned to normal for the most part after the dark magic had been removed from his body. Though riddled with guilt over what he felt he did to his adopted sister, he too felt curious about her true past and her origins.
At the end the three years, though, this culminated in Zelah declaring to her mother that she had to make her way out into the world. To explore the world beyond the sands she had grown up with, and the family/people she had come to love with all her heart....she had to find out who she was. And then, once she had done this, she would return home again. This was her promise.
Thus Zelah has set out into the Gerudo Desert, prepared and as ready as she could be for her journey at just the age of 13. Though knowing the red string of fate, it might not be too long before she begins to run into that shared destiny that awaits...
Music Instrument: She sings, her voice being the instrument in this case. This rather than carrying a physical instrument like Hylia's first mortal incarnation did.
Songs: "Ballad of the Goddess" - After singing this short but ancient song, power of the goddess is called down from the heavens. This "power of the goddess" takes the form of a beam of blueish light, similar to the color of tue bright blue sky bit with a glimmering divine light within it.
It has a 15 meter diameter, and strikes with high power capable of making a distinct crater in even solid rock.
However, it can only be used ONCE a day. As in, once every 24 hours. Further, it's target destination cannot be changed once the song is sung.
Talents:
First Aid - Between her own training in combat, and training with and her brother, Zelah desired to learn this art and gained a solid enough proficiency in it to function in the field reliably and well. A lot of practical experience at home does not make her a master though.
Archery - Through formal combat training on general for weapons as a Gerudo Cheiftan's daughter, Zelah learned she is most talented at archery. Though good with a blade as well, in archery her talents truly stand tallest.

He has a smooth, crimson porpoise-like skin with baby blubber making him heavier than he appears. His gills are beneath his arms and his teeth are sharp like a sharks. He has webbed feet and naturally, he has extendable and retractable forarm fins that are like blades. They are only six-inches long, but one day they’ll grow longer. In captivity, he only wears some aquatic shorts. Goddess: Nayru

Water Manipulation: Koja can manipulate water molecules in the air or natural bodies of water in his vicinity. He can use this water to bowl over enemies, drown enemies, and create distractions. He can condense the water molecules until its hard enough to hit like a baseball. He can also provide water to drink and use as others need. He will primarily use the water at times to make an orb around himself to keep himself hydrated and healthy.
Occupation: Exotic Pet owned by the merchant Bugut.
Current Story:
One day, a traveling merchant named Bugut came across a mysterious pearl-like orb in the water. He thought that it was a rare jewel until he felt its bouncy and gel-like texture. He guessed the orb to be a rare egg and he kept the egg in water until it hatched. Emerging from the egg was the most interesting fish Bugut had ever seen. It resembled a spotted, red baby shark and he considered cooking the creature at first until it shocked him by giggling when he picked it up. The fish was sentient, and seeing it stare at him with its big black eyes discouraged him from eating him. Over the years, the fish’s fins grew longer until what appeared to be fingers and toes appeared at the end of them. The fish was soon swimming upright and paddling about the tank he kept him in. Bugut eventually learned that what he had wasn’t a fish but a Zora. The merchant became scared. He had found someone’s missing child! Afraid to face the wrath of Zora’s Domain, Bugut never ventured by the realm and kept Koja in the dark about his origins. He had the fish boy believe that he was the only one of his kind, and as they traveled Hyrule, Koja started to believe him. He remained Bugut’s number one attraction. People in every town paid money to see the mysterious red fish boy, and when Bugut learned that he could play guitar, they made even more money. Come see the guitar-playing Fish Boy!
Bugut was able to afford a fancy wagon and two fine mares to pull it along. It made for a quick trip through the Bokoblin-littered country and through the red nights of the Blood Moon. After passing through the treacherous Dueling Peaks, Bugut and Koja have come to Dueling Peaks Stable to rest and make a few rupees. Little did Koja know that his fish bowl was about to get much bigger.
Music Instrument:
Guitar: Traveling Hyrule with Bugut allowed Koja to hear some wonderful music. He supposedly learned to play guitar after watching a minstrel play. When Bugut learned this, he bought Koja a guitar and now he's not only an expensive pet but an attraction. Bugut just discovered a new way to make rupees!
Song(s):
Rain Song: A happy tune that summons the rains.
Talents:
Faster Learner: For having grown up in a fish bowl, Koja has learned a lot about the world. The Hylian language being one thing. He is more intelligent than what people expect.
Fisherman: He is probably the best fisherman in the group. When you can swim like a dolphin, fishing is easy!
Character Name: Aja Nickname: Little Sister Age: 10 Gender: Female Race: Human Height: 4ft Weight: 63Lbs Hair Color: Pale Blonde Eye Color: Storm Grey
Written Description: A tiny thing, Aja seems unsuited for the mountains where the Goron live. She has a small frame, pale skin that never seems to tan and pale blonde hair that she refuses to cut or brush, leaving her to look like a wild animal when one first sees her pericing grey eyes staring at them from behind her mess of hair. She wears a sort of close fitting jumsuit made of thin cloth of varying shades of brown. This cloth is split into two peices, a lower half that begins thick, a soft deep brown cloth that hugs her from the waist to the knees, followed by leg wraps that are tightly woven and leave her feet untouched and free. The upper half is much the same as the lower, a set of thicker darker cloth that could be mistaken for thin leather hugs her upper half, extending all the way down to her waist and up to a collar that obscures her mouth and nose. This is followed by a set of lighter thinner cloth that is wrapped around her arms and hands like bandages, leaving her fingertips exposed.
Goddess: Din Primary Weapon: Iron Knuckles / A set of pure iron knuckledusters forged for her by a Goron Blacksmith, it's surprisingly intricate, with her and her close 'family' having their names engraved onto them. Off-hand: N/A Projectile: Slingshot Magic Power:Din the Earthshaper - Ever since she could remember, Aja has been able to mold the earth to her will. From sudden jutting chunks of rock to attack her enemies, or gently shaping stone like clay only for it to suddenly harden again. This acts as another limb, requiring little to no extra thought or effort on her part for her to acheive. However there is a limit. Aja can only manipulate earth within 7 feet of her, the type of earth does not matter but the amount she tries to move does. Currently she is only able to effectively use up to her own weight in stone during combat, and is able to forcefully move nearly twice that amount, albeit at a slower rate and with much more effort. She is also able to manipulate raw metals, but this takes nearly twice the effort and as a result is useless in combat, she mainly uses this skill to add raw metal ore to her creations. If she were to focus, Aja can sense a difference in stone she cannot see, and given time she can physically locate gaps in the earth or ores.
Occupation: Merchant - She makes and sells dolls, figurines and trinkets made of stone and raw metal ore. These dolls are surprisingly well made, and if she puts effort into them, she can make a surprisingly recognisable copy of a person.
Current Story: Left with a small group of Goron Merchants when she was barely 1, Aja does not know who her birth parents were, though if she were to find them she would likely crush their bones to dust. As far as she is concerned, Big Brother and Pops ( her own names for the two Goron who had been caring for her for nearly nine years now ) are her only family. Her ability and skill with the earth easily made the the two Goron happy, and she got along easily. Though they traveled quite a bit, they often stopped in the mountainus region where the Goron hail from, allowing her to get to know her entire 'family'. After years of practicing her magic, Aja decided it was high time she began her own merchant's journey. With gifts from her 'family' in the shape of Iron Knuckles and a pouch of coins, Aja set off at the young age of 10 to explore the world, and secretly? To see if she could find those who left her behind.
Instrument:Bones - A set of two rib bones cut to only 4 inches each and hollowed out in such a way that they produce clear notes akin to an exotic xylophone when struck together. They are often played with one hand, and can produce a surprising range of notes.
Song:Heat of Din - A song that reminds one of home, wherever it may be, of companionship, with whoever you may care for. Heat of Din causes Aja o begin generating heat in a 3 foot radius. Changing the tempo changes the amount of heat generated, from a gentle warmth to a campfire-like heat.
Talents
Trinket crafting- From necklaces and rings to toys and statuettes, Aja has hones her craftsmanship with her magic to a fine level. The things she makes often sell quite well, and wealthier patrons sometimes pay more for special requests, be they specific stones or metals, or a specific subject.
Avid Fighter - Though lacking in formal training, Aja's constant squabbles with her larger and tougher 'siblings' has given her a knack for physical combat, hence her preference of knuckle dusters.
Written Description: Cidro is very short, even for his age. This is probably due to malnutrition, but who can really say? He has messy hair that shares the same white colouring with the rest of his people and has green eyes, one of which is covered by a scar from an old fight. His clothes are fairly simple, consisting of a white tunic, brown pants and a pale cloak. He also wields a staff that, at least at the moment, seems a bit too big for his tiny frame. The staff itself is rather odd looking, appearing mostly black except for a number of orange, circular patterns that seem to glow.
Goddess: Farore
Primary Weapon: A large staff, black with a number of orange, glowing circular patterns scattered along it.He has also seen blue blades appear out of either end while being wielded by Malo, but he has no idea how to make it do that.
Occupation: At the moment? Wander the country side and try not to starve to death.
Current Story: Cidro's story is actually fairly simple considering his current circumstances. He never knew his parents, nor has he ever been to Kahariko. Instead, he was raised by one of the many merchants that wandered Hyrule, an elderly man named Malo. The merchant rarely talked about his life before adopting Cid, except one where he admitted Malo wasn't actually his real name, instead having taken it from a legendary merchant of ancient Hyrule. The young boy eventually learnt to just stop asking, and although he never truly managed to force down his curiosity, he simply decided that, rather than force the issue, he should just try to impress the man enough that he decided to tell him on his own.
Throughout the years, Malo taught Cid all about surviving on the move, outside the settlements dotting Hyrule. This included not only basic things like hunting, cooking, and finding or creating makeshift shelters, but also self defense. This was generally limited to polearms and small, thrown weapons such as knives, as those were all Malo himself had any real talent in. Of course, while the old man might have had a fairly imposing physique for his age, he wasn't exactly on the level of a real warrior. He was a merchant! Therefore, even though he eventually began to get the hang of fighting, there was only so much the lessons could give.
Still, by the time he was nine years old, Cid had actually managed to become fairly decent with the weapons. In addition to this, he had discovered a weird ability he seemed to have where, if he really concentrated, he could make small gusts of wind by swinging his arms. It was only really enough to sway the grass, or if he used it right, make him move a little faster, but combined with his weapon training, it meant that he was around the level where he could take on a bokoblin or two and come out with only a few scratches. However, he would soon learn that bokoblins weren't the enemies he had to be on the look out for.
Only a few days before his tenth birthday, Cidro had his first encounter with the masked men.
He and Malo had set up camp for the night by a small lakeside forest, and he had wandered to the waters edge to fish for dinner. It was only the glint of reflected sunlight shining from the top of a nearby tree that gave it away, the boy quickly shifting his leg out of the way of the arrow that otherwise would have gone straight through his leg. After that, everything seemed to blur together. He remembered somehow managing to raise the wooden fishing pole up just in time to bat away the sickle shaped blade, only for a second swing to cut his makeshift weapon in two. However, it seemed from the way his masked assailant was acting that he wasn't trying to kill Cid so much as just incapacitate him. This theory was strengthened by the way the warrior knocked the boy to the ground and quickly began to tie his hands and feet behind his back.
He was terrified, sure that he was about to suffer a terrible fate, his captor was sent flying into the water, replaced by a familiar bushy mane of white hair. However, where usually Malo might come off as tired, or even kind of lazy, it was clear that the man who stood before him now was ready, and quite possibly able, to take on an army all on his own.
This man wasn't just a merchant. He was a warrior.
Before Cid could free himself from his not-quite-finished bindings, an additional pair of masked warriors appeared from the tree tops, and he watched in awe as Malo expertly fought and weaved his way between all three of them. For a moment, he swore he saw a flash of blue appear at one end of the old man's staff, sending one of the attackers slumped against a tree, bleeding from the chest. However, it seemed like the other two were beginning to figure out Malo's movements, adjusting their own to fight him more effectively. After what seemed like an eternity, the boy finally managed to wriggle free of his bindings, and rather than run like any sensible person would, he grabbed a long stick and rushed back towards the fight, worried that the man who had raised him his entire life might be hurt if the battle lasted any longer.
He only had time to notice the concerned expression on Malo's face before he felt a heavy kick collide with his chest, throwing him face first into a tree and plunging the world into darkness.
When he awoke, it was nearing the dawn of the next day, and his face was covered in blood. The masked men were gone. Malo was too. All that was left was the old man's staff, which he had claimed for so long to simply be an overdecorated walking stick. Tired, hurt, and worried, Cid decided that all he could do was wait at the camp, bandage up his injured face, and see if Malo made it back soon. But then a day passed. Then the next one did too. After a week had passed with no sign of Malo, Cid gave up, and after gathering what he could carry in his pack, he returned to the nomadic lifestyle he had known for so long, only now short one family member.
For the next three years, Cidro threw himself into training with more fervor than he even knew he had. He didn't know why the masked men had attacked him, but he doubted it was just for no reason. This meant that they might come back for him again, and when that happened, he needed to be ready for them. By the time he was thirteen, he was capable of taking on several red bokoblins at once, and had even made it through fights with a couple of silver ones without being too badly injured... Of course, this was largely due to him forcing himself to improve his ability to manipulate the wind, to the point where he could leap from tree to tree with ease and pull of acrobatic maneuvers that he would only be able to dream of otherwise. He was sure he could weaponise it too, but he hadn't really managed to get the hang of that for some reason yet...
However, he would have to learn it soon. Unless he became as strong as he possibly could, he would never make it the next time they came for him, never learn their secrets, and never find out what happened to the closest thing he had to a parent... If for no other reason than to find out Malo's fate, he will continue to wander the world, seeking the skills he'll need.
Music Instrument: Flute
Songs: Song of the Spirit Those who hear this song, barring the player of course, have a tendency to get lost in their own memories, losing the will to fight in the process. However, this can also be a positive thing, as it allows people to essentially relive these memories, which can help them either by remembering something important they've forgotten, or simply letting them remember a happier time.
Talents:
Cooking: One of the first things Malo beat into Cid's head was that in order to survive out in the wilderness, you needed to know how to make food from as many different things as you can. One of the second things he taught him was that, if you ever find yourself with company, you'd better make sure that food tastes good.
Acrobat: While it is generally enhanced by his wind manipulation, Cid is quite a capable acrobat all on his own. Climbing trees is a daily occurrence for the boy, and while they can pose more of a struggle, climbing and jumping around mountains isn't exactly rare either.
