Personality:
Do not let her profession and expression fool you. On the surface she's a talented dancer who loves performing in front of a crowd and revels in love and affection. Just underneath that smile, however, lies a lonely soul whose line of work does not allow her to make many friends. She is distant and aloof and yearns for the day where she can be seen as a person.
Biography:
Orphaned at a young age in Ayntayikk can be a harrowing experience for a child, especially a girl. Many a horror stories are told of girls who are plucked from the street into a dark alley and never seen again by their friends or family. There are fates worse than what Mata had to endure, but her life was still far from perfect. Living as a street rat she had to pickpocket and steal food to get by, which often lead her into trouble with the authorities. She proved crafty enough to evade capture until she turned 15 where she was finally caught, not by the sovereignty of her nation, however.
Mata was taken in by the Black Dessert guild. There she was trained to be an Assassin, one that could infiltrate courts, dens and other areas as a performer, in order to kill high priority targets or retrieve important information. She has worked for the clandestine organisation since, and has seen nearly every corner of the globe, integrating herself into travelling bands, circuses, theatre troupes and other people of entertainment, but never sticking around long enough to truly know the people she deceived.

Dual Wield - Can wield two bladed weapons at once. Attacks twice when using bladed weapons.

• Drain Samba [DEX 2/ MIN 2] - Dance-skill. Phyiscal attack with a chance to inflict Drain Daze to the target. Allies that hit the target drain HP.
• Curing Waltz [DEX 2 / PIE 3] - Dance-skill. Restores HP and removes status ailment of one party member.
• Quickstep [SPE 5 / DEX 2] - Dance-skill. Lowers a targets Speed. If used on an ally it gives them Haste for a turn.
• Performance of Sword [DEX 2 / SPE 5] - Dance-skill. Performs a melee attack with a higher critical hit chance.
• Disarming Jig[DEX 4] - Dance-skill. Performs a melee attack with that reduces a targets DEF.
• Seductive Dance[ DEX 4] - Dance-skill. A dance that tugs on the heartstrings of those who see it. Performs a dance which Charm the target. Charmed targets won't attack for a turn. If used on an ally, that ally will have their STR increased for a short period of time.
• Hip-notic Sway[DEX 4] - Dance-skill, AOE. A distracting dance that draws attention and hypnotizes the enemy. Enemies become Provoked and also either become Stunned, Sleep, Blind, or Confused.

• Hours on End- Ayntayikk performers have amazing stamina, able to dance for hours without fatigue. After the third turn in a row a Dance was performed, the user gains health Regen for 3 turns and a boost to Strength.
• I'm Sorry, I didn't Mean To - Dancers garner affection and sympathy from their audience and can make them question their own actions. If an enemy reduces her HP below 50% that enemy is instantly Charmed. During their first turn Charmed they use a healing item they have (if any) on the party member with the least amount of HP.
• A Flurry of Motion- Ayntayikk Dancers are known for their agility, flexbility, and uncanny reflexes. The first time she would take damage from a phyiscal attack during a battle she adds her Speed to her Defense.
A Note on Charmed: Not all enemies can be Charmed, such as automatons and large monsters.
