Name:Gungnir
Appearance: The great spear of Odin,
Gungnir is a vicious, unyielding dragon that is small by dragon standards. She is long and slender, almost snakelike other than the small tufts of fur at the head and small reptilian hands at her fore body. Her snout is the largest part of her body, elongated to a horrifying molten hot spear tip. She is also adorned with golden armaments, mechanical fastenings along the aerodynamic points of the dragon to assist in changes to the body. And lastly the wings, large, reinforced, razor sharp blades made for slicing through enemies without remorse. She was indeed a weapon more than a living, breathing creature, but not to Dion - she was a unlimited font of potential.
Personality: Gungnir is a lot like Dion and thus allowed for their compatibility so swiftly. She is an egotistical, aggressive, dragon whom likely struggles with a Napoleon Complex and seeks to prove herself. There are positives though, she is deeply fond of Dion and believes in him and just as strongly as he does to her. Not to mention her aggression towards others when speaking down to him and it seems at times that she may even be overly attached. On the battlefield she is far different, a concentrated arrow fired by a master archer that always hits his mark. She doesn't handle failure well, just like her pilot should damages or loss be the result of her own ineptitude tantrums are often and frequent and sometimes they result in the injuries of Dion himself or other pilots. It is a steadily less often event, though Gungnir has already earned the reputation of being unpredictable.
Classification: Knight
Capabilities: Odin’s spear, the swaying one. She is a weapon of the gods and a piercing omen of death aimed to the throats of the enemy, and that enemy is the Shard.
Knight is Gungnir’s classification, the serpentine spear of death slips in and out of the battlefield carefully taking out specific enemies with quiet precision. Her wings in particular are diamond hard and capable of splitting unguarded opponents into two bits of molten mess. She is hot and I don’t mean aesthetically, her body’s internal heat rages to obscene temperatures that enhance her piercing and cutting potential as thermal energy is redirected to the spines and edges of her body.
She is also capable of firing a thin concentrated beam of thermal energy at short range. This allows her to open up more reinforced enemies for allies or herself to exploit. Her abilities aren’t the most diverse so you could call her a specialist, she is an infiltrator not in the sense that she is stealthy or unpredictable but rather because she is able to execute specific enemies in a short period of time with little resource. She is an assassin of Shard, and piloted by a overly confident tactician who revels in “winning”.
Her "spear" is the dragon's snout, and the reasoning for her name is what this piercing weapon is capable of. Internal thermal heat is stored in the spear and raised steadily till the maws of the dragon glow a blistering white, then she tucks her wings in and stores as much energy permitted as aim is taken on whatever target(s) the spear is aimed at. She then extends her wings to brace herself and fires off at full speed towards what she has aimed at, shield, armor, structure, typically cannot withstand the force and heat of this attack, While not able to be recklessly utilized, this ability is able to be used two to three times within a single skirmish with careful planning and consideration.
