One job? ONE JOB!

I had at least two jobs.

Well, let's get some discussion going here shall we, without giving away too much of your season, where are you all hoping for your characters to end up by season's end?

For Namor, I'm aiming to have him in a position where he'll be straddling responsibilities both to the Surface and Atlantis in order to open him up to more collaboration in the next season. A lot of this season is going to be spent defining his world and introducing him to a new one.

That said, you should be able to expect a post from me later this evening if all goes according to plan. My post is currently sitting at 70% complete.

But back to my discussion topic, where are you guys intending to land your characters?

So does when does the Angsty Bat Arrow make an appearance?

Heh. To tell the truth, I'm more of an old school Green Arrow fan. The bleeding heart liberal who's not afraid to wear a ridiculous goatee along with his Robin Hood tights, quite frankly. Arrow's version leaves me pretty cold, aswell as the New 52 version that tried to copy it. So if I were to play Ollie, you'd be getting more of a Kevin Smith/Judd Winick era version than anything current. Nothing resembling Bats.

Not that I've contemplated an app or anything...

In all seriousness, I thought about playing Ghost Rider and doing an all-out horror tale, or The Punisher, or some version of The Hulk where Banner isn't the alter-ego. But I think my indecision is what caused me to realize that it'd be better to stay as a passive than commit to anything I won't follow-through on. Byrd's doing a pretty fantastic job with Batman and my usual go-tos are either taken or would wildly step on the toes of established concepts here, so I'm content to let it ride until something really grabs me.

Out of my own morbid curiosity, who are your usual go-tos?

I assume beyond Batman, Daredevil, but I couldn't hazard a guess at who else.

Peter will be in a very... Different place at Season's end. As I kind of alluded to in my sheet, he's gonna make some capital M Mistakes and then have a Ctrl + Alt + I Fucked Up moment, and then have an ultimate confrontation that I'd rather not spoil. I think it's a very different story, but still very Spider-Man, which I guess is what these games are all about.

Virgil's gonna put himself on the map at the end of the season and ends up attracting the attention of a certain character that has been alluded to in my last posts and my sheet.

The plan with Kara is to get all of her year one stuff on the map – I’ve already established how the very different Fortress of Solitude works and defining Luthor as a very different man (but still very much Lex Luthor) is something I’m currently working on. She’s probably going to be involved with the GM Event, but otherwise I think she’s going to be fighting a few citybusters and on occasion some normal issues. Got a few ideas in my bag.

Tell people to stop reminding me that Moon Knight is a thing that exists and is still available!

I can't be held accountable under these conditions!!!

My go-tos are generally everyone else's go-tos. The holy trinity for me are Batman, Spider-Man, and Superman - those are my top three favorites in general, even outside of RP. Daredevil and Nightwing hold a special place for me as player characters, Wolverine's been a favorite for awhile, I've enjoyed playing Captain America in the past, and I like playing Wally West's Flash (or a Wally-fied Barry). Basically, any of the major popular superheroes from when I was growing up in the 90's - if they were in a cartoon or had a cartoon to their name.

Gonna bring some LOLs, going to create some relationships and throughlines through different corners of the universe to make Ted central enough for teamups and crossovers to be plausible, going to introduce some of his own rogues gallery (or rogues broom closet...) and establish his own section of the business/tech world... and maybe leave him in a place where some semblance of a Super Buddies preamble to a Justice League may be possible.

Spoilers for the next post... it may introduce my take on a guy called Farley Fleener...
