Lance

With his blades now clear of the crow's blood, Lance headed back into the cave. It seemed that Trevor had decided to lie about their origins. It was understandable. If they'd told her the truth, she may have thought they were insane. The story that Trevor made up was much more believable.

One by one, Wendy began answering everyone's questions. It seemed that the enemy that attacked them the night before wasn't a normal occurrence in this world. In addition, there were probably more of them around, though these ones likely wouldn't attack them. As for towns, there was apparently one to the north, and there was also a farm nearby, likely the source of the light that Lance saw earlier. She'd even offered to carry them there. Though Lance wasn't fond of the idea of getting in her mouth, it was better than trudging through the dirt and mud. "I am prepared to leave, if everyone else is."

"Uh, thanks ma'am, and... just a moment," Trevor said as he headed into the cave to collect their own meager amount of berries and supplies they managed to gather on their own. Upon coming back to the pellipper, Trevor said "Alright, I've got everything we have, um... I guess let's go," He then waited for further instructions, ready to follow them as soon as she said them. Though, he did note that Wendy, their new friend, seemed to be confused about the bidoof, and Trevor filled her in "This didn't seem like it was a normal bidoof... it was all grey where it was supposed to be brown, it had red eyes, it was a ghost type for some reason, and its body turned to dust when we defeated it... there was a furfrou here who was fighting off several other pokemon like that, so yes, it will be nice once we can get to a safe place," whether or not she believed Trevor, she would probably want to protect the 'children' from their own fears, thus, Trevor felt like he should tell the truth, just to make sure it was out there, that at least someone else knew about this.

It seemed that most of the group was ok to leave with Wendy, their new friend. Thank god she believed what was said and didn’t ask questions about the group’s origin, cause then they would need to figure out how to deal with this. She listened to what was being said and smiled softly, seeing the items that Wendy gave them. “Thank you for the help... it is really appreciated.” She said to her. She then though about the items that they would receive. Lava cookies, those would help immensely if they end up with status effects happen on them like poison or paralysis or any burns. And then there was also the taste of those… what do they even taste like? Well, no use checking that out right now. It was then that Wendy offered them to get them to a farm house… by riding in her bill. Part of her was a bit worried about this. A slight fear of being in there and not able to get out. But considering all the letters and other items in there, she was guessing it would be safe to just ride there without anything bad happening to them. She thought about it.

“I… I guess lets go for the ride. Still a bit… worrying to ride there… but there is no other way.” She says, ready to go in so they could go on for the ride to that farm house that might have more food and maybe some kind of clue of what was going on in this world.

Well, it seemed fortune favored them. This Pelliper, Wendy, seemed perfectly friendly and was even willing to carry them to a farm of some sort not far from here. This was both welcome, and still slightly concerning. She was fine meeting new people of course, but judging from what they had seen so far she was a little concerned. Well, not that it mattered. She'd let them all do the meeting and greeting. As soon as they arrived, she'd just stay in the background in case things went wrong she could get the jump on things, heh.

"Sounds like a wonderful plan to me, Wendy." Vi picked up the bundle of Lava Cookies. Not that she'd need them for food, but if they could cure poison like the birdie said, then it would definitely come in handy. Vi looked up at the bill, then towards the sky, then back to the ground. She could levitate, couldn't she? Hmm...maybe... "...Hey, wendy. Think I could try floating alongside you?" She asked the large bird pokemon. "I wanna get used to this whole floating thing. I don't wanna keep getting blown around by the slightest breeze."

Fortune and skill favored the bold, as it were.

"Having someone able to watch or back me up in case something happens would be welcome."

Trevor had graciously taken Ravi’s place by retrieving the berries from the cave. So he stayed put and let his digestive system work its magic as his stomach deflated, so he wouldn’t need to move while overstuffed like a thanksgiving turkey. It was hard to share his thoughts in the start of the conversation with the taste of his kill still ripe on its tongue. Plus, Ravi was too focused on smiling and thinking positive. Sure, there was some downsides to transforming into a small creature without limbs and risking your life against your would-be natural predator, but nothing was better than a happy belly. And with everyone now returned and seemingly in unanimous agreement it seems like they’d be taking a ride in the Pelipper’s bill—

Wait. What? Someone going inside someone else’s mouth? How unsanitary! It gave a ticklish sensation at the tip of tail just imagining it-oh, it was just a flower brushing up against him. Well he supposed if the rest of team wanted to go to this farm house, it would be wise to go along.

Jeri

Jeri didn't have much to add to the conversation, for she spent most of its length struggling to open Wendy's bottle of berry juice. Such things had become more difficult than they should be due to the loss of, y'know, HANDS. Jeri wasn't even sure how the pelican managed to open this thing... maybe with her feet?

Eventually, the Dunsparce managed to contort her flexible body into a position where she could hold the bottle's bottom with her tail and pull at the top with her mouth. As she guzzled some of the juice, it felt... warm, comforting. Whatever this juice was made of, it tasted closer to Earth food than anything else she'd tasted in this hellworld, and it helped rejuvenate her. The slash on Jeri's side sealed up enough to stop bleeding, though it would still sting for a while.

"Normally, someone askin' me to ride in their mouth'd be the weirdest thing I've heard all month," Jeri remarked. "But all rules of normal seem to be out the window in this place, so... let's go."

With the party done with their business, Wendy made sure to address everyone's final questions and concerns. First she turned to Celina. "Don't worry little one, us pelipers are born to do this! It might be a bit of a tight fit thanks to my packages, but there should be more than enough room for all of you. Don't worry, I've hauled heavier things than a bunch of children in my beak. Just try not to jostle anything too much." Vi asked if she could fly with Wendy. She pondered this and nodded her head. "I don't see why not. In fact why don't both of you fly with me? These winds would normally be too dangerous for you two to fly alone, but that's nothing for me! As long as you stay within my tailwind, nothing short of a tornado ought to blow us off our path. Just remember to stay close. I'll move slow so you can keep up too."

With all's said and done, Wendy allowed the young pokemon to load up into her beak, then took off. Vi and Celina, if she chooses to fly with Wendy, might have a hard time due to the strong winds but once Wendy lined up with them her massive body made a great windbreaker. The flight to the farm house was thankfully uneventful, not even any murkrows came chasing after them. Flying over the forest seemed almost peaceful aside from the occasional thunderclap. They would travel for roughly a mile before they spot the farm house, which had a bright light emitting from it's window. Standing outside was scruffy looking pokemon holding a rather large rock.

"Oi! Who are you!? Git off mah property, ya damn bandit!"

Wendy however lowered herself about thirty feet away from the rock-wielding pokemon, raising her wings up in a manner to show that she was harmless. After letting the other pokemon go she spoke up. "Don't want any trouble sir! I'm just a humble courier. I got ambushed on my travels by murkrows before these kind children saved me. Their parents are gone, please could you let them stay here?" The scruffy pokemon lowered his rock a little but still seemed on edge. "Courier huh? What's your package then huh? Don't you know this place has been storming for two weeks straight now?" Wendy peered at the farm house before her face lit up. "Ah, this is the Greencrest Farm, isn't it? I actually do have a letter for you sir!" She took out an envelope from her bill, surprisingly dry and crumpled. She approached the thuggish pokemon, distracting him for a moment.

As Wendy was doing her best to calm down the aggressive homesteader, the others may notice something inside of the farmhouse itself. A few pokemon watching with a hint of concern. One appeared to be some sort of rabbit with pink fur looking particularly shy. Another was something akin to a black bear with very pointy ears, and it seemed to be chewing on something. The last pokemon the others would have the clearest view of since it wasn't even trying to hide. It was a very strange humanoid looking pokemon, with what could be described as a white shirt, green hair, and two red horns coming out of it's head. They were watching everything happen outside.

After Wendy and the rock-wielding pokemon exchanged letters, he seemed notably calmer now that he knows this isn't a distraction. However he did still seem concerned about something as he looked to the group of young pokemon. "... Tch. Can't be helped. Fine, you lot can stay here fer now, but know that I'm going to be strict on food! We barely have nuff fer just my family, an I didn't expect to have to feed seven more mouths. Anyways come inside I don't like being wet like this."

"Woho, wonderful. I shall do my best to not stray." Good, perhaps with this she could get a hang of her floaty bits. It was a little tough at first, but as soon as the pelican placed her body in front of them, It was far easier. Over the course of the flight, Vi made sure to keep herself in the path of Wendy. Of course, she couldn't help but to practice somewhat on her way there, taking a few dips outside in order to test the limits of her own flight ability, but never straying too far as to get blown away by the strong wind. All in all, it was a rather peaceful and relaxing experience.

Once they arrived at the farm, Vi kept herself behind Wendy still, trying to keep a low profile in case she had to skedaddle or otherwise get up to some skullduggery. As Wendy attempted to calm down the scruffy looking pokemon, Vi took a quick note of the homestead itself. A few other pokemon could be seen inside. A rabbit, some sort of bear, and some sort of...human thing? Weird.

"Woho, don't worry about it Gramps." Vi replied, making sure that her presence was seen by him now that it was revealed they weren't hostile. "I can get food...elsewhere." She flashed a grin in the direction of the shy looking rabbit.

Ravi

It was time to share a friendly ride. Ravi learned to get cozy in tight spaces with a smile, as his tail slowly and unwittingly crept around his closest ally. Getting over previous hesitations about being inside the bird’s mouth after he found it pleasantly warm. The two others able to fly gave the rest of them more space for him to think. Somebody needed to come up with the plans right? “Hmm. I suppose I’ll make some proposals after we learn more about the farm and its inhabitants…”

But when they had arrived, he bravely kept quiet and low during the combative conversation, needing to watch over his smaller allies. He couldn’t risk anyone feeling scared or getting in trouble on the team. Fortunately his heroism wasn’t required, and they seemed to be accepted into the fold. Thanks to Wendy's sly negotiation, they had attained real shelter and though they still needed to fend for themselves and gather food, it was a positive first slither! His head popped out to peek at his surroundings and took notice of all the new potential friends they could make. But perhaps it was time to be serious and decide what to do now that they got there. “Two weeks? Sssounds like the rainy weather might not be over anytime soon.”

Thinking about it, Celina didn't want to end up in the beak like that, and there was also the fact that she could fly also. Using the backwind of Wendy would be better for her, and it would give more space to those that are in the beak. She though about it a bit more before going to follow Wendy closely, using her backwind as much as possible. When they arrived at the farm, she heard what the scrafty said. Well at least they had a place to stay, but food wise, the group would probably need to work here and go scavenge around for anything that they could get their paws, hands... beaks.. whatever they could use to take items. She looked at the group, hearing what was being said, hearing what Vi said and sighed softly. "I would suggest being careful on how you act around here Vi.. never know what could happen.. just saying." she says to the ghost type, seeing where she was looking. Yesh... someone probably going to be very scared, either that bunnery or Vi cause of the parent here, or both. She then heard about the rain being around for 2 week and what Ravi said. Yesh, must not be good for the crops or any food supply. "I know everyone might be very tired... but for food supply we might want to try to scavenge around a bit more around the farm area... bring back anything we find. Considering food will be strict, it may be better we get our own food someway or another so that we dont get issues." she then said calmly. Sure, the though about having to scavenge for food with all the flood was not very appeling, considering all the water, but what else could the group even do.

The journey to the farm wasn't exactly a luxury cruise but it was far better than Nathan ever expected traveling in a birds mouth could be. The farmer's owner didn't seem to be the friendliest Pokemon around but he was still willing to let the group stay even though he was worried about food which was really something.

"I should be fine on food too, Seedot can get nutrients directly from trees. Though I've never tried it before and instead just ate normally." Celina made a good point about them scavenging around the area something Ravi maybe would have to do anyway if he was a carnivore, Nathan didn't know if this world followed anime or rules when it came to Pokemon rules or not. "If we have to we could also plant some of the non-healing berries you guys found yesterday."

The ride there could have been better... it might have just been Trevor's slight hatred for being unable to move, but it didn't exactly sit right with him. Fortunately, it was short, and the group quickly found themselves on a farm, with a group of pokemon who didn't seem too welcoming, at first. Trevor tried his best to say something, anything that might help, but he found that his words had escaped him, and on top of that, the others have already said most, if not all of what he was going to say, himself. So... it's been raining for two weeks, huh? That's kind of odd. Not entirely unnatural, but not exactly normal either. Trevor thought as he looked around at the other pokemon, unable to really say anything, unfortunately. It seemed to be much more safe here than in the cave, just so long as they provided for themselves, since the constant rain was having a negative effect on their crops, and thus, their food supply, and they already had quite a number of mouths to feed, as is. Trevor then remembered that he had a bunch of berries that he might be able to plant here, and since these pokemon were farmers, they'd most likely know how to make sure they grow, but, while he was showing them in his hand, he still found himself unable to really say anything to them, for some odd reason.

Jeri

Alongside most of her allies, Jeri squeezed into the pelican's beak. It was tight enough to feel awkward, but not enough to feel crushing. A couple minutes into the flight, the bee-snake relaxed, realizing this wasn't gonna be so bad.

About two seconds later, the Dunsparce immediately tensed again as something began to coil around her back. Was that... Wendy's tongue, maybe? Gross. Jeri reflexively jerked for a moment, probably jostling a couple of her allies in the process. Including a black snake who remained coiled around her, unbeknownst to either party.

Jeri realized that bucking around would earn mass annoyance at best, and perhaps a very fast trip to the ground at worst. All she could do was spend the rest of the flight grumbling incoherently, not even able to speak her grievances due to her chin being conveniently smushed up against the sturdy beak.

"Finally!" Jeri remarked when it was her turn to gracefully flop out of the bird's beak. She shot Wendy a brief dirty glance. Then she carefully observed her surroundings and the other Pokemons' conversation. The farmstead felt familiar to her, hopefully a piece of stability in this crazy world. Jeri had never lived on a farm, but some of her friends in Missouri, United States, Regular Earth had, so she understood a few things about a farmer's work and lifestyle.

"Thanks for takin' us in," Jeri addressed the red mohawk farmer as she began to slither inside the farmhouse. "I agree with the others. I know ya have to ration stuff out 'till the next harvest. And we've been pretty good at findin' food so far. In the meantime, let us know if ya need a little help around the farm. If we ain't afraid of killer crows, we shouldn't be afraid of a little hard work. Uhh, maybe wait a few hours though... we've had an interestin' coupla days."

Lance

To say the journey to the farm was uncomfortable would be an understatement. They were all packed tightly into Wendy's beak, and as Lance's body was covered in blades, he had to take extra care not to accidentally stab anyone. Luckily, he only had to endure it for a short while. The farmhouse was only a short distance away.

As everyone climbed out of Wendy's beak, they received a somewhat unfriendly greeting from what Lance assumed was the farm's owner. They would likely need to scavenge the surrounding area for food. Nathan suggested planting some of the berries they'd already found, but Lance wasn't fond of that idea. "I don't intend on staying here long enough for those berries to grow. The moment this storm ends, I'll be leaving." He didn't mention why he was so insistent on leaving, for fear that the farmer would overhear them. If there were answers to how they got here and how to get back, he wouldn't find them here. The village that Wendy mentioned would be his best bet.

The younglings would gradually enter the house after the scruffy pokeman allowed them entry, with Wendy waving them goodbye. ”If you ever stop by Delta City, look for me at Gull Wings Deliveries! That’s where I work. I hope the best for all of you, thank you!” Wendy flew off into the storm, to complete her duty as a courier. Thus the scene switches to the rough neck scrafty and the other Pokémon within. He lowered his hood and put his rock, which he had brought in, onto the table.

”Right. Well I guess some introductions are needed. Name’s Merc. This is my kid, Honey Buns.” Merc patted the pink bunny, Honey. ”The kirlia there is Honey’s friend, Seraph. She was just visiting when this freak storm came through, been stuck here with use ever since. The hungry boy is one of my workers, Munchi.” Merc sighed as sat in his chair, looking rather tired and stressed. He looked at the other Pokémon with a hint of distaste, but mostly apathy. ”Look, I’m gunna be honest with ya. This ain’t no normal storm. I’ve worked these fields for an odd ten years or so, been in my fair share of tornadoes and hurricanes, but they don’t last this long and this badly. Especially not at this time of year!”

The kirlia, Seraph, nodded as she took a Calendar off the wall. ”Mr. Merc, why don’t you just rest for now? I’ll take care of the children for now. I already made some soup too.” Merc grumbled but complied, standing up to go get something to eat. He finished his food quickly and then went into another room, and barely a few seconds after he was snoring. Meanwhile Seraph turned to the others, laying out some cushions for everyone to sit around the fire place. ”Please forgive his attitude, he’s actually a very nice man. But this storm has caused a lot of damage to his farm, and three days ago his wife went to go get help but hasn’t come back since. Between trying to save his farm, fighting off the others who try and steal our crops, and worrying his his wife, he’s under a lot of stress.”

Seraph laid the colander on the floor for everyone to see. Noticeably, it looked somewhat crude, like it was handmade instead of machine pressed, and there weren’t any names for months. It was simple labeled “Autumn Third Quarter” and the days were labeled one to twenty-eight (1-28) instead of the former humans 30-31. There were also notes and small marks in the boxes for each day. ”About sixteen days ago I came here to visit Honey and collect some berries for my family. I was only suppose to stay for three days but when the storm came I thought I should stay and wait it out. But that wasn’t a good idea.”

Then the kirlia pointed to a box a two days later labeled “flash flood”. ”Two days of constant rain and suddenly the fields were flooded. So much water came down that it actually tore out many of the berry bushes that were planted, flooding the fields and ruining their crops. I know you’re young so I won’t make it complicated, but berries can’t grow under water. Mr. Merc and Munchi have done as much as they can to clear the flood waters, but this constant rain just keeps filling up the fields. Not to mention the others who come and steal.”

Seraph points to another day almost a week after the flash flood day. This one is labeled thieves. ”A lot of desperate Pokémon displaced by the storm came and tried to steal from us. At first they were just picking at the scraps out in the fields, but then they tried to break into the house and the barn. Merc and his wife, Mimi, as well as me and Munchi, fought back when we could. Thought that was the end of it. But I guess since we never let those thieves in, they think we have a lot of food left. But we don’t, not enough for all of them.”

If the others looked towards Munchi, he was cradling the large rock in his arms. It wasn’t like the type of rock you’d find on the ground; it was huge, smoothly carved, and now that they could see it closer and with better light, had some old bloodstains in it. ”It gets worse. It’s been nothing g but one disaster after another. Thunder storms end up causing the barn to burn down, or at least start a fire from inside of the barn, and we barely managed to get our seeds and tools out. We lost a lot of supplies when that happened. That didn’t stop the thieves either as they just started to attack the house, but fortunately we still are able to beat them back. At least, until the ghosts showed up.” Seraph flipped the calendar a few pages and showed a familiar image to the party: monochrome Pokémon with red eyes.

”They looked like the sort of Pokémon you’d see around here, but they were grey looking with glowing red eyes. They didn’t speak or make any demands when they showed up, they just attacked. Merc was really helpful in fighting them, but we knew something was really wrong now. An unstoppable storm, regular Pokémon turning into ghosts, and all the flooding was just getting too much for us to handle. Ms. Mimi, the fastest out of all of us, volunteered to go see Lord Rero, who owns these lands. He’s a nice man who also helped build the farm and a lot of other things around here, and strong to boot. We hoped maybe he could help or was working on some way to help, but we never heard back from Ms. Mimi or Lord Rero.”

Seraph sighed, as if all of the talking had been exhausting. Honey, who had left, cane in carrying a large pot and balancing a few bowls on top. There were also spoons in the bowl. ”Um... I know daddy said get your own food, but momma, she wouldn’t like it if we didn’t feed our guests. It’s not much but I hope you like it!” Honey distributed the soup, giving everyone a bowlful. No one had more than any other, not even Munchi who quickly finished his in one gulp. Honey snuggled up near Seraph, using the lithe and thin Pokémon as a sort of barrier between the others. Seraph patted Honey’s Head.

”Anyways if you want food, I guess after you all rest we can try to go look in the forest. Berries won’t grow in these conditions, but mushrooms could. And... If we have to... Maybe we could do some hunting too.”

As Nathan listened to Seraph talk about the weather he immediately wondered if it might have something to with one or more Legendaries, by either messing with the weather or being unable to regulate it like they usually would. He wanted to ask about it but he didn't want to reveal that they knew more than they should.

Instead he latched onto the red eyed Pokemon the Kirlia mentioned. "We encountered a red eyed Bidoof last night, the others fought it off but I was no help since Normal attacks had no effect." Nathan didn't try how he felt about it and looked kinda down as he admitted how useless he was in that battle. Before anyone else could say anything he quickly changed the subject. "Also do none of those thieves you mentioned know any moves that might be able to stop the rain?" He knew he was risking their cover by referring to Sunny Day but stopping the flood was worth in it in his mind.

When Honey started handing out food his first though was to refuse it and give it to someone else, but he quickly realized how rude that would be and there was also the fact that he didn't know if the hanging from trees thing worked for Seedot in this world so instead he thanked the Lopunny and accepted the food.

Ravi looked up at the sky, as Wendy flew off faster than he could properly thank her. His tongue flicked in contemplative silence, convincing himself to keep smiling and that they’d surely meet again. Refocusing his attention on every minut detail of his companions, while politely nodding at the adults to show them he was listening. Repeating the given names in his head like a broken record until he didn’t skip a beat. “Munchi, Seraph, Honey Buns, Merc.”

Then Lance’s response to Nathan crossed his racing mind soon after the introductions had finished. If true, it risked splitting the group apart before they could decide how long to stay. And his mouth might’ve been literally bigger than the rest of his team, but it remained uselessly unused. Telling himself and nobody else that it was silly to feel guilty for voicing his opinion on such an important matter. Oh, but he knew shouldn’t fret, it was just another bite-sized issue like all the others. Sure, maybe when dumped together, it was a little too much to chew on. Getting a gut sensation of being overwhelmed, as if he’d entangled his stomach in knots. But everyone was going through the same thing right? His thoughts sprinkling sugary words over his plate of insecurities to make them more palatable, but he wasn't even served the main course of concerns yet.

No, that would come as they were lead into the barn. Where Seraph kindly provided them cushy seats and a cozy fire to bask in, helping him give her a warm reply in spite of sad news. "All is forgiven. Please let me know whatever I can do to help!”

Learning about Scraffy’s wife and the builder of the farm having gone missing for days. The freak weather had been ongoing; creating fires, floods and dwindling their supplies. The many thieves and red-eyed ghosts that threatened everyone’s safety would be the cherry on top. Toppling down to bury him with the excessive burdens weighing upon his shoulders — if he had any to begin with. He gulped back the rising uneasiness in his throat and didn’t linger on the aftertaste. Any further contemplation on food would have him lose his lunch…

The smell turned his gaze toward the liquid pour slowly into the bowl — wait, were those chunks? Uurgh...it would be soon. Fortunately, unlike Nathan, he had the opposite thought. It wouldn’t be appropriate to accept their food when he hadn’t done anything to earn it. Besides he already ate...bleh.

Shifting eyes locked onto Munchi devouring his bowl in a gulp. Now there’s a hard worker that needed the energy! He just wanted to make friends, and what would be a better way to someone’s heart? Ravi slithered over and beamed him a grin intense as the sunshine. “Munchi, if you’re still hungry you can have my bowl. I’m still full from my last meal.” Hopefully seen as a humble offer that practically begged for his bowl to be as empty as the radiant glow from his expression running on fumes. So that at least one thing was resolved before he fainted from exhaustion.

"Waheh...seems like you've all had it rough." Vi replied with a chuckle as things were explained to them. This was all quite spooky, yes. A freak storm. Ghosts roaming around the area. It was a straight up b-grade horror flick and she coldn't help but to find it amusing. You even had the most fun thing in horror films! Not the monsters, but other humans you had to watch out for, hehe! Why if she wasn't caught in the middle of it she'd almost want a bag of popcorn to watch from a distance.

Curious, though. It was curious. The historian and investigator in her was having its attention rightly pulled. Hmhm. The source of this phenomena...hm, maybe some of the others may have some ideas? They were much more well versed in pokemon than she was. A thought for another time. Honey distributed food between all of them, along with a request for rest.

For the most part, Vi felt fine. She may try to get more food later, but - hm, well, actually...now that she had actual food in front of her, it would be a good idea to see if she could eat it as well. She had a sneaking suspicion she couldn't, but feeding off spooking others constantly was going to get annoying if there was no one around to spook.

So Vi attempted to eat some of the soup.

"Hmm, I'm perfectly rested." Vi continued. "So if someone wants, I could accompany them. My psychic abilities should be fairly useful against most things."

When Celina saw that the familly was going to give them a bit of food... as in soup, she smiled softly at the kirlia. "Thank you so very much for this.. a lot of us didnt get that much food lately... so this will help." she says before going to eat slowly. One thing bothered her. That rain. What could be the cause of it. 2 weeks of rain is not normal. She gave a soft sight and looked at the group. "Question... anyone has any idea why that rain keep going on? I mean... unless some jerk keep using rain dance constantly... but I would be surprised if that was the case." she then says to the group, shaking her head. "I know it might be dangerous.. but would it be a good idea to try to figure this out? I mean after we train up a bit." she says. Last thing the group need was to go fight a legendairy or something and being a low level. That would not go well at all, that is for sure. Although one though cross her mind. What if the group was not strong enough even with training to beat whatever causing this. The least they could do possibly is at least figure out who or what is causing this. "Unless we try to just find what causing this at least." she then says as she goes to keep eating her soup.

Lance

As the soup was passed around, Lance made sure to express his gratitude. "Thank you for your hospitality." After eating nothing but berries for the past day or so, a warm bowl of soup was a very welcome sight. As he ate, he listened carefully to what Seraph was telling them. Any information could be useful, after all.

It seemed that the storm had taken it's toll on this farm. On top of destroying their crops, it seemed that it had also brought thieves and looters who intended on taking what little they had. What caught Lance's attention, though, was the ghosts. Clearly, these were the same creatures they'd fought off the night before. "I can handle bandits, but if the ghosts are attacking here as well, that will be a problem. I couldn't even leave a scratch on the one we fought."
