Vox for Tau Fire-Caste Command from Lorinos system:

Lorinos System under attack from forces of the Warp. Local guard details holding. Approximate length of battle, 3 weeks.

Unacceptable, warp forces cannot be allowed to spend that amount of time on our planet.

Vox for Fire-Caste Command from Imperium cruiser Inferno.

"We have received a distress call from a Space Marine, trapped on planet Lorinos IV, as stipulated in the Damocles-treaty, we have the right to answer any and all distress calls from imperium frequencies, so long as prior warning is given, and the mission is performed by a single vessel of cruiser, or smaller, class. Our ship will arrive within the hour."

"Confirmed, Inferno. Be warned, Warp-fiends are currently attacking Lorinos IV."

"With your permission, we should like to deploy a small number of troops to deal with them. It is our solumn duty to wipe them from the face of the galaxy in the Emperor's name."

"Standby..."

The Communications officer got up and ran to the commander. "Commander, we have a dire situation in the Damocles Gulf, the forces of Chaos are besieging the planet." he said with a salute.

"Report." replied the commander.

"Defense forces are holding, estimating 8% casualties to defense force at the moment, although that is steadily rising." he said. "Co-incidentally, the Imperium claim that they have received a distress call from the planet, as stated by the Damocles treaty, they do have the right to investigate it, if prior warning is given. They have asked permission to deploy forces to the planet to repel the invaders."

"What?" asked the Commander. "Why would they be in such a hurry to defend us?"

"Sir, the forces of chaos ARE the Imperiums most hated of enemies." replied the comms officer.

"True... Give them permission to send 7 squads and light armour, no heavy units. And tell the troops to remain vigilant, if the Imperium shows sign of betrayal, tell them they have permission to open fire." he replied.

"Very good, commander." he replied before running back to his desk.

"Permission granted to deploy 7 squads of troops and light armour."

"Confirmed.

**********

Aboard the Inferno, Viqtor sighed as he finished the vox communication and then sent a ship-wide vox. "Combat units, form in the main hangar." all of the ships vox-casters blared out. He then headed for the hangar, his two giant servitors following.

************************************************

Lorinos IV:

The walls of the fair city were a shambles, They had fought off the odd Chaos Cult, but nothing of this magnitude, it was as though the Warp itself was attempting to claw its way into this world. The only thing piercing the Red mist of chaos was the blue bolts from the Plasma Rifles of those who fought for the Greater Good. "FIGHT FOR ALL YOU'RE WORTH!!!" yelled the voice of a Crisis suit, standing on one of the ancient walls, its Plasma Rifle pounding away at the hordes of Chaos. Noticing a Blood-letter making it over the walls, the suit floated upwards and over to it, before cutting power to the jet-pack and falling, the bloodletters head now looking like an orange that had been run over by a speeding train.

"They're climbing the walls!!! Keep them out! We WILL defend this city for the... GREATER GOOD!!!" yelled the pilot over the speakers. Every time she said that, She wanted to kill herself just a little bit more. The only thing that stopped her from pulling that trigger every night as she was alone in the bathroom, sucking on the end of her pistol, was the thought that every Chaos cultist, Ork, and the occasional Eldar, she killed was a service to the Immortal god. Small bullets and las-rifle shots pinging off her armour. "Alright, Stealth-Squads open fire!!!" she yelled.

Across the battle-field, stealth-suits appeared at strategic locations, spraying blue plasma rounds into the croud. Chaos fiends falling, although, those in the middle of the crowd were quickly being over-run, though before their blades could get close enough to cut them to pieces, their Jump packs launched them to safety, as soon as they were airborne, they disappeared from sight, in a flash of blue. Leaving the surrounding chaos forces rather confused, and open to fire from the long Plasma Rifles and the powerful guns of the XV88 Broadside suits, cutting great lines in the tide of corruption. 'Emperor, help us...' she thought. Several of her fellow Gue'Vesa fell. 'May the Emperor have mercy upon your soul.' she thought, before being forced back a few steps, almost falling over, as a Chaos Terminator teleported next to her.

They seemed to react to each other at the same moment, the Terminator firing at her with its Storm Bolter. Her jet-pack shooting her upwards as her Missile-pods fired off at it. Time seemed to slow down to snails pace, both of the realizing that in 2 seconds time, one of them would be dead. Several bullets lodged themselves in her front armour, forcing her off-course. The missiles, however smashed into the Terminator, blowing the armour wide open. raising her rifle, she pulled the trigger and a well placed plasma rifle shot was swallowed by his open armour, his face realizede that he was the dead one, shortly before his face was engulfed by a short burst of blue flames, then a belch of smoke. It was then that the Terminator fell to the ground and times flow returned to normal. The Crisis Suit flew backwards, her flight path forcibly altered by the Storm-bolters shots, Luckily for her, she managed to correct the path enough to land on her feet, however, off of the wall and away from the fighting, looking up, she saw the exchange of fire... It was sort of beautiful, the dance of blue and red across the skies.

"COMMANDER ERENAS!!! MA'AM, PLEASE REPORT!!!" screamed a confused guardsman over her vox channel.

"I'm here. He knocked me offcourse, that's all." she replied.

"MA'AM, THEY'RE EVERYWHERE!!!" replied the voxer.

"Just keep fighting... So long as you fight for... The greater good... Our victory is assured."

"Y..." he swallowed hard. "YES MA'AM!!!" She then lowered her head as the caster played the unmistakable sound of bolter-rounds cutting the voxer to pieces.

"Dammit..." she muttered.

As Caius sat down casually around a small table customly made for just the right size of a space marine. Around him were his most trusted battle brethren, Brother Zephrius and Krell. ''I smell the foul taint of chaos.. Even here in outer space their pressence glooms ever greater..'' Mentioned Zephrius as he sat down at the table after having been pre-occupied with a coversation with a space marine prior. ''Aye, they seem to be everywhere at this time of age, more reason to purge them from the world of the emperor.'' Krell replied as he looked down at his lap, bolter in hand he was currently maintaining it's purpose, to dwell the number of the emperors enemies.

''The emperor leads us to glories, where we find these glories are the battlefield, I need not say more.'' Stated Caius calmly as he looked up at his brethren, displaying his highly decorated artificer armour with his armours helmet infront of him. ''Anyh-'' Caius was interrupted by the clear sound of Inquisitor Viqtor over the vox coms. ''A Inquisitor speaking personally over the radio?'' Brother Krell responded to this sudden appearence of the Inquisitors voice. ''Seems like it brothers, we should hastily head to the hangar.'' Replied Caius and in return Brother Zephrius simply nodded towards Caius and Krell.

As they raised themselves off the small seats and grabbed their gear they started to wander the halls and head to the hangar. Caius was shoulder to shoulder with his two honour guards in this small corridor, after finally emerging into the grand hall which is the hangar. This grand hall was filled with any kind of the imperiums airborn machines, the thunderhawks standing out the most.

The three took their place next to a currently under maintenance thunderhawk and watched the hangar slowly getting smaller as more and more figures come in from the entrances. Caius was fully armed, his sword in it's holster and ontop of the holster his shield which has protected against many slashes, in the chains on his right hip the bolter and on the left the lantern. He put on his helmet and hid his almost unscathed face, after so many battles and so long time fighting that was the greatest of disbeliefs.

''Brothers, let us hear what this Inquisitor has to speak for us. Hopefully it will bring the emperor the greatest of glories.'' Caius said to his Honour Guard and they replied simontaniously. ''Aye, for the Emperor.''

When the vox speakers blared for ground units to report to their proper boarding stations Marcus wasn't surprised, in fact he was already preparing for that flight to the surface to come. He sat inside the valkyrie he and his squad were to take to the surface. His knowledge of what was to take place lacked as far as what he wished to know on what was to take place. Marcus stood and stepped out of the valkyrie looking to his squad. "Form up!"

His squad moves quickly forming a single line. "Everyone be on their best behavior we will be in the presence of someone truly blessed by the Emperor!" As he heard power armor foot steps and servitors he turned taking position in front of his squad and executing a crisp salute. The troopers behind him did the same all of them holding the position until otherwise ordered by Viqtor. The only thing throwing off the almost perfect discipline was the large burning cigar Marcus still had in his lips that he had forgot about.

Tyesha Vandilus and her squadron of Seraphim’s where training in hand to hand combat while reciting a prayer at the same time. Half through their training and prayer they were interrupted by the Vox with the Inquisitor asking them to come down to the hanger. Tyesha nodded her head towards her fellow sisters and the other seraphims nodded their head back at her and they then began to make their way down the hanger while still reciting their prayer in silence.

Upon reaching the Hanger they saw a squad of space marines. At first Tyesha thought it was a deathwatch squad but upon seeing their shoulder pads she realize it was a Black Templar squad. Tyesha wondered what a squad of Black Templar was doing aboard on the ship but she assumed the Inquisitor would explain and ended the train of thought. As she made her way towards the Inquisitor who presence was now being shared with a small Black Templar squad, she saw a group of Guardsmen saluting the Black Templars as well and it was almost perfect if one of them was not poisoning his own body that the Emperor had given to them with a cigar. In the Sisterhood this would be frown upon and even considered a minor heresy, as one was wasting his life but Tyesha decided to ignore it and her other Seraphim’s would stay silent while in the presence of an Inquisitor and several other factions as well. Upon reaching the Inquisitor her squad formed up and Tyesha spoke. “Seraphim Squad Divinity Wings, reporting for duty.” said Tyesha Vandilus as she then remained silent and waited for the Inquisitor to speak or possible someone else.

"They shall be my finest warriors, these men who give themselves to me.” Kallius Antio recited the first sentence of the prelude to the Codex Astartes as he looked down at the Tactical Dreadnaught Armor he called his own. It was laid out perfectly, looking as if a man was in the armor on the metal table in front of Kallius. His battle brothers were each in a similar position, looking at their own suits of power armor. They had all just finished praying to the machine spirits and preparing their armor and weapons for the battle that was to come. What that battle was, Kallius did not know. But he knew that it did not matter, as long as they fought in the name of the Emperor and the Imperium. Kallius was busy remembering the many battles he had seen while wearing this armor, almost subconsciously reciting the words of the Codex and listening to his brothers.

“Like clay, I shall mould them, and in the furnace of war forge them. They will be of iron will and steely muscle.” Brother Nahom began the task of placing the sacred suit of terminator armor upon himself as he spoke the words of the Codex; Those precious words, written down by one of the greatest of the Primarchs of the Adeptus Astartes. He reveled in each word and contemplated its meaning as he armored himself for battle. The process was slow, but exhilarating. These pre-battle rituals brought a strange excitement to Nahom. Most people would say it was boring, but that was heresy. This is Heresy that Nahom never even thought of committing.

“In great armour shall I clad them and with the mightiest guns will they be armed. They will be untouched by plague or disease, no sickness will blight them.” Laruo remembered the words of the Codex as if he had just memorized them but a few days prior. But he knew that in truth it had been centuries since he’d seen those holy words on parchment. He was eager to join the battle that undoubtedly wagged on the world below, but Laruo was also slightly anxious. What if today was the day he finally died? He knew that only in death service to the Emperor ended, but he wished with all his heart not to ever parish, so that he may serve the Emperor for all eternity. Laruo looked at the Terminator armor that he was placing upon his own body with the help of surrounding servitors. This armor would not allow him to die this day. No, he would live to serve the Emperor for many centuries to come.

They will have tactics, strategies, and machines such that no foe can best them in battle. They are my bulwark against the Terror. They are the Defenders of Humanity”. Now it came for Brother Sergeant Kallius Antio to speak the sacred words of the Codex yet again. Pride swelled within his heart. But it was not an evil corrupt sort of pride, the kind of pride brought on by the whispers of chaos. It was a pride in the Emperor, in the Imperium of Man. Kallius and his fellow Adeptus Astartes were warriors of the Emperors, given the greatest weapons mankind had to offer, told to go out into the galaxy and destroy all those who stood against the Emperor. That was what Kallius’s pride was rooted in.

They are my Space Marines, and they shall know no fear." The three Space Marines now clad in Tactical Dreadnaught Armor now spoke the final line of the prelude in perfect unison. They had done this a thousand times before, and by the Emperor’s will they would do it a thousand more times together. A chill went down Kallius’s spine as he thought of those words and their meaning. He truly did not know fear, and for this he praised the Emperor. Kallius could not remember what it was like to be human, but he knew that fear was dangerous. Fear was a weapon of Chaos. But he was immune to that devastating weapon, and could turn that same weapon upon the enemies of the Emperor.

"Combat units, form in the main hangar." The voice of Techpriest Viqtor came through the vox casters within the armory that the Genesis Space Marines called out loudly. The sound was pure and crisp through Kallius’s armor’s filtered audio system. Kallius attached his power sword to his back, and silently left the armory and started down the hallways towards the hangar. He moved slowly, but his wide stride allowed for good time. His brothers had fallen in behind him with question. No words were necessary; he knew they had heard the Techpriest just as he had. The small team of terminators moved with purpose towards the hangar.

Once inside, they moved towards the gathered Imperial soldiers. There were guardsmen in formation, as well as a group of Black Templars and a team of Sisters of Battle. The three terminators, in their bright, shinning red armor, stopped a few paces away from everyone else. They stood silent, collecting information on all of the troops present and storing into their memories for later use. A scowl appeared on Kallius’s brow as he spotted the Guard sergeant with a cigar between his teeth. Did that man not know his body was a tool of the Emperor, not his to ruin with such things? Kallius stood forward, and decided to announce his team’s arrival; as if they hadn’t seen the Terminators enter. It was a good mannered gesture.”Genesis Chapter, First Company, squad Righteous Vengeance reporting.” Kallius said, his voice slightly modified by his armor’s vox system. He then stepped back, and returned to his squad.

The cavernous halls of what was once a store room echo with the roar caused by the 106th's daily practice. Almost a full mile of metal crates, shelving and securing equipment had been converted into an obstacle course that challenged even the veterans of the squad. It hadn't been easy, but the squad had managed to shift the contents of the room enough to make a decent obstacle course to keep themselves busy and well practiced in transit to the Damocles Gulf. Standing atop a stack of crates at the center of the room, Sergeant Dorian surveys the troopers under her command with discerning eyes. Raising a hand to her ear she shouts to the lead biker, Joseph, through the vox beads they wear.

"Joseph, for the last karking time, ACCELERATE through the turns. I know you're scared you'll screw it up the way you screw EVERYTHING up, but you're risking everyone's lives forcing them to slow down for you, understood?"

The youngest member of the squad, and a replacement for their previous demolitions expert, Joseph had big shoes to fill and worse still, he knew it. A muffled response came over the vox as the boy still hadn't learned how to keep the bike steady and use the comms, but Eve could see the frustration on his face. Good, thought the sergeant. He could use a dose of humility. But lessons quickly became the least of their worries as the leader of their mission's voice blared over the ship-wide vox, drowning out the rest of the noise their bikes were making, and demanded everyone assemble in the hangar. Despite knowing that a superior officer had given them an order, they waited for Eve to tell them to kill their bikes.

"Right, you heard him. Fredrick, get'em packed up and meet me in the hangar."

Fredrick responded with a snapped salute, the squadron of bikes slowing to a halt and shutting off their engines as the group began the process of loading up their bikes to transport them to the hanger. It took a few moments, but after climbing down from her perch, Eve stood before the squad and ordered them to attention.

"And the next time an inquisitor gives you an order, you treat it as if the God Emperor Himself were speaking to you, UNDERSTOOD?"

The squad shouted back their understanding, and Eve dismissed them before turning on her heel to make for the hangar. Once out of sight of her squad, she let out a soft sigh and stretched out her muscles. She was not the young woman she had once been, and she knew that she would be asked to retire soon. Eve removed her hat and ran a hand through her silver streaked hair, knowing that this mission was her last chance to earn a promotion to lieutenant and retire as a proper officer. But there would be time enough to worry about that later, as she was quickly joined by the twins, Arnold and Alli.

"Excuse us, Sergeant?"

"Yes, what is it, troopers?"

The twins always spoke together, for whatever reason. It was fascinating, as the two knew each other so well as to be almost perfect mirrors in action and thought, yet wholly unsettling at the same time.

"Ma'am, we were just wondering why you're so hard on Wires."

"You'll remember I was just as hard on the two of you when you first joined this unit, and it was through that strict regimen that you became the troopers you are today. Now get back to the store room and help the other two finish, before we're all brought up on charges. Dismissed."

That was all the twins needed to return to their duties. In the ten minutes it took for Eve to reach the Hangar, her squad had already reached it and started loading their gear into one of the valkyries in preparation for planet fall. Eve helped with the finishing touches, securing their bikes and making sure they were well supplied for the mission ahead before the squad took its place before the valkyrie in a flawless line, Eve herself standing ahead of them and giving the occasional glance at the cadian troopers they were to be working alongside. She was damned if she was going to be out shown by such rabble, and snapped to attention as she waited for the inquisitor to arrive.

Arthus

The hulking venerated dreadnought lumbers its metal feet that felt like deep beats of the drums that once saved him long ago. The Rosarius embedded to his chest, the jet black colour that brought reckoning to vile xenos and the fear mongering skull mask adorned the holy creature as it strays upon its consecrated path. The chatter of other battle-brothers before him was a more welcoming sound than the whispers of the dark gods looming inside of the warp. Even as he though of this, his mechanical voice began to broke itself into songs that lifted the Imperium of Man. "I hath seen... With my two eyes that he... Hath raised his wrathful hand. Glory ave Imperator..." A door opened behind him and several initiates of the Imperium began to fill in where they spoke among themselves upon their faith.

Arthus, disturbed by the quarreling among them followed after the group-- Brother Carthus leading them towards the chamber where they would be turned to Space Marines. "Emperor's Initiates..." Arthus let on. Brother Carthus noticed his presence and halted the advance of the initiates.

"Emperor's grace with you, Head Chaplain Arthus." Upon hearing the status of the Dreadnought, the Initiates immediately straightened themselves and saluted the iron veteran hastily.

"I've overheard... The raving of these initiates..." Its weary limbs fell close to the ground. He was disappointed about the spirit at which the initiates dedicated themselves on. While it was commendable that they had placed dedication to the God-Emperor, their whispering mouths placed doubt in Arthus. Brother Carthus seemed to have not mind about the initiates.

"They are initiates, Head Chaplain. They will learn to hone their faith and zeal in the name of the Emperor in due time. Rest assured." Brother Carthus needed to lead the Initiates as quick as he could. "Arthus, I must tend to these Initiates as quickly as I can. I shall speak with you again in another time." Arthus remained to stand there as Brother Carthus made his way off with the Initiates.

"Combat units, form in the main hangar." The vox-caster's sounded. Inquisitor Viqtor spoke personally over it, it must be an urgent and dire matter.

"All of His Glorious Armies... They shall not flee nor retreat..." Arthus continued to sing the Imperium's songs as he lumbered on further towards the Hangar. His powered feet now pouncing onto the metal floor of the ship and the exhaust pipes over him flared with fire as he moved to his maximum speed towards the Hangar. "Head Chaplain Gunther Arthus... Awaiting orders..." He arrived, but other battle brothers were already in place in the hangar. It seems that Arthus was late to be in the Hangar.

((Alright, since most of you are gathered, i'm going to move on with this, just catch up if you need to.))

Walking out onto a long walkway above the hangar that they were gathered in, Viqtor looked around, Space Marines, Guardsmen, Sisters... The Assassin... This was going to be... interesting.

"Brothers, Sisters, Hammers of the Emperor, I have gathered you here for your mission briefing." he said. "As some of you may know, our former hive-world, Lorinos IV, located in the Damocles Gulf, was home to a giant Manufactorum. What you do not know is that during the construction of the manufactorum, drilling teams discovered a Warlord-class Titan, buried, we believe, during the Horus Heresy, dubbed Orphion. For a hundred years, our teams worked to get the Titan operational again. Then, during the Damocles Crusade, the filthy Xeno's destroyed the manufactorum, we believed that the Titan was lost with it... Until approximately 3 weeks ago, when we received a communication from a Tech-marine still alive inside of Orphion, claiming that repairs to the Titan are now complete..." he paused as thoughts of the Titan's magnificence flooded his mind "I... Doubt any of you have ever seen a Titan in action, but rest assured that it will go a long way to completing the Imperiums destiny." he then sighed.

"And now for the bad news... Unfortunately, after the Damocles Crusade, Ultimar-Command dictated that Lorinos IV was no longer of strategic value, and so, the colony was abandoned... By the Astartes, anyway. As such, the planet is under the control of the Tau Empire." there was a collective groan from some of the guardsmen. "What's even worse is that the Inquisition has deemed the aliens to be "Of strategic value" meaning that, we are not allowed to engage the Tau in open combat."

"What heresy is this? Suffer not, the alien to live. It is a most sacred rule." one of the Space Marines muttered, a little louder than he should have.

"Please, believe me when i say that, were my wishes fulfilled, we would have a fleet of ships and a battalion of the emperor's most holy servants to deal with this, unfortunately, it IS the orders of the Inquisition that we do not break our Non-Aggression Treaty with the Tau. As such, i have been instructed to inform you of this." he pulled a parchment of paper from his robes, and cleared his throat.

The High Inquisitor said "It is by the power vested in the Inquisition, that i grant permission to retrieve the Titan from Lorinos IV, but not at the cost of the Non-Aggression treaty with the Tau Empire, as, for the moment, they have been deemed a necessary evil to further the goals of the Imperium. Any member of the army that unlawfully fires upon, or otherwise engages a member of their Empire in combat, shall immediately be branded with the Excommunicate Traitoris stamp, for damaging and possibly delaying the destiny that the Immortal God Emperor has laid out for Humanity."

He finished and saw the angry faces bellow him. "I dislike this order as much as any of you, but it is our orders nonetheless, passed down from the High Inquisitor, who's words shall be honoured as though they were from the lips of the Omnissiah." he said. "Fortunately, for us, it appears as though one of the Hives of the world is under assault from the followers of Chaos and the false-gods, we shall crush them first, before retrieving the Titan, we cannot let their filthy heresy even so much as bask in the glory of the Titan. So they must be dealt with first. We are fortunate that those Heretics and Xeno's have no idea of the existence of the Titan. And i pray to the Omnissiah that it stays that way. Are there any questions?" he asked.

During the great gathering of warriors who fight for the emperor in all manners of ways he spotted the two imperial guard squads who saluted the Space Marines pressence from the Black Templars. Feeling no personal glory nor satisfaction he simply gave the two squads his glare, rather terrifying since a 8-9ft tall, fully armored and genetically improved warrior of the greatest quality. At the appearence of the Sisters of Battle the Black Templar Lord Castellan by the name of Carius thought that to successfully drive off the suspected taint of chaos which filled the air around him, he and his honour guard had to ignore past problems.

''Sisters.'' Carius simply stated as he looked their way and his two brothers behind him followed his lead by nodding their way. As brother Zephrius held onto his master-forged heavy bolter he was not able to use his hands, since a tool of the emperor does not leave the tool of which he serves the emperor with. As the great warriors of the god emperor entered the room in their terminator armour he gave them the same nod and greeted them with. ''Hail Brothers.'' Yet again, the only one of the three black templars.

However as the immortal paladin of the emperors will entered the room Caius simply did what any other warrior of the emperor would do. ''Lord Arthus, welcome and may you bring glory to the emperor.'' however he was not given the time to continue speaking, not that an instrument of the emperors will would need to. With the arrival of the Inquisitor everyone, atleast the brave and strong warriors of the Black Templars did.

However not even they could stay strong at the mention of the decree of the heresy which would be going on throughout this special mission and task for the greater glory of the emperor. ''The High Inquisitor speaks of heresy now?!'' Brother Krell shouted out, however Brother Zephrius replied. ''Allow the Inquisitor to speak up, he may yet rid himself of the heresy which fills his speech, although it's unlikely.''

After the speech Caius took note that the Inquisitor heavily enforced that he thought disregardingly of the rules put on by the High Inquisitor, and true that, everyone would look at him with purging eyes, just awaiting the moment to put a hundred bolts through his skull in the righteousness of which is the Imperium of Man, and the emperor of mankind. Caius spoke up, before anyone else could. ''I think we all believe that the slaying of Chaos filth will more then just the ways of the High Inquisitor.. Especially when we're taking back one of the glorious creations of mankind, a titan in the physical.'' Caius spoke out, his voice filtrated by the speaker in his helmet.

Space Marines shouted out in unison, or atleast the majority of them. ''AYE!'' However it wasn't long before Caius would highten his voice yet again. ''How will we get on planet, Lord Inquisitor? A righteous drop down on planet would do my brethren more then just, however speak your mind on how your strategies will aid us in coming down planet side.'' As Caius finished his question to the Inquisitor, brother Krell put his hand on Caius' shoulder and spoke up. ''I will more then happily purge the Chaos from this planet and I'd be more then happy to purge the emperors traitors for the duration of this mission, even if it means fighting alongside xeno's..''

Caius looked at Krell who in turned was staring at the Inquisitor, and Caius, of course Zephrius aswell agreed fully to Krells decision. They'd be more then happy to purge Chaos in the name of the glorious god emperor, they'd all seen the acts of a Titan before, a warhound, however anything greater has never been seen by man. The Imperators are only taken out on the most important of crusades and not even then are they likely to show up.

A Servo-Skull floated in front of Viqtor and projected a hologram of the battle-plan "As the Codex dictates, the first to attack will be our Assault and Tactical units via drop pods, dropping into battle to break the heretics back, followed closely by our Guardsmen aboard their great beasts." he guestured to the Valkyries being prepped. "And finally the devastator and armoured units." he said. "We shall descend upon the foes, we shall overwhelm them, WE SHALL LEAVE NONE ALIVE!"

The weary dreadnought stood and awaited until the Inquisitor graced them with his presence. The doors of the ship opens as a set of Battle-Brothers from the Black Templars emerged. Lord Caius, hero of the Black Defiance in Tarsis Ultra. His worn, dented and scratched armor instills great inspiration that rallied his weary body into life. "Lord Arthus, welcome and may you bring glory to the Emperor." Arthus faced the Black Templar Lord and met him eye-to-eye before the decorated techpriest, respected and most feared by the enemies of the Imperium emerged with his two holy servants. Inquisitor Viqtor had arrived, bearing information at the mission that the group of warriors will partake. Viqtor took his time to observe and watch of the Brothers and Sisters around him-- his appearance seemingly intrigued at the mixture of forces that gathered. With haste, he began.

"Brothers, Sisters, Hammers of the Emperor, I have gathered you here for your mission briefing. As some of you may know, our former hive-world, Lorinos IV, located in the Damocles Gulf, was home to a giant Manufactorum. Until approximately 3 weeks ago, when we received a communication from a Tech-marine still alive inside of Orphion, claiming that repairs to the Titan are now complete..." Titan Orphion. Warlord-class. Even the mightiest Chapters in the Imperium could not instill fear compared to the Titan. It is the holiest relic ever produced by the Imperium capable of bringing retribution over our foes that dare to challenge the might of the Imperium. Titans are the magnificent creations of our Emperor.

"I... Doubt any of you have ever seen a Titan in action, but rest assured that it will go a long way to completing the Imperiums destiny." Arthus would normally address several of his issues within the mission briefing. However, the thought over Titan Orphion justified almost every single piece of problem that Arthus had until the Inquisitor brought forth the foul stenches of heresy. He could smell them, as much as Lord Cadellan could. It was almost as if Arthus himself would break out into a rage of zeal and fury inside of the ship. He began to broke himself into songs. As the Inquisitor began with the dire news, so did Arthus.

"His soldiers... Marceth on...
The xenos... We shall crush... and burn with our holy fire...
And the heretic and mutant... Shall never escape His ire...
We shall... Immolate... Their dead... Upon a holy pyre..."

"His soldiers... Triumph on...
They shall crush... The hated foe... Beneath their booted feet...
And he shall smile... His approval... From atop of His Golden Seat..."

Arthus nearly lost himself before the sound of Inquisitor Viqtor pierced through his weary ceramite armour and how he regretted upon this order. It was not enough, but there wasn't much that Arthus could do. Are there any questions?" Arthus kept silent. The heretics had shown themselves within the presence of the holy Titan. They must be purged.

Tactical Briefing now came underway as the servant of Inquisitor Viqtor floated in front of the entire regiment. "As the Codex dictates, the first to attack will be our Assault and Tactical units via drop pods, dropping into battle to break the heretics back-- Followed closely by our Guardsmen aboard their great beasts. And finally, the Devastators and Armoured units." With the might of the Emperor, Viqtor shouted. "We shall descend upon the foes, we shall overwhelm them, WE SHALL LEAVE NONE ALIVE!" Comically, Arthus attempted to interrupt the momentum of the Inquisitor. He approached Viqtor and stood to look down to him.

"As the Head Chaplain... Of the Deathwatch... Inquisitor Viqtor... I request to be positioned... With the Assault and Tactical Squads... Where I can shower fury... And righteousness... Uninterrupted." Arthus awaits for the Inquisitor's reply.

The singing from the Dreadnought was a little distracting, he appreciated his condition, as with all Inquisition Dreadnoughts, he had personally overseen his internment. "I believe i speak for us all, when i say that we would be honoured if a being of such distinguished service to the Omnissiah, would lead the charge against these heretics." he replied. "I suggest we prepare, drop is as soon as we enter the system in 20 minutes. Dismissed." he said, before walking towards the service lift and heading down to the hangar area, striding towards a corner he began working on his sentinel, his Servo-arms tweaking and fine-tuning the sentinels systems. "Be still, Bessie, we are going into battle soon, where you will serve the great one again." he said.

(Anyone wishing to ask a question should come and talk to Viqtor now.)

Marcus broke his salute as they were dismissed. His ungloved hand that had wrinkled puckers if burn scars upon it reached up and pulled the cigar from his mouth, tapping some ash on the ground he pointed to his troopers. "Get the rest of that gear loaded Guardsmen or I will beat you so bad you will wish you were going into the eye alone!" His head swiveled as he noticed the Mordian Sergeant and stuck the Cigar back in his mouth making the cherry flare brightly with a deep inhale. Smoke slowly filtered out Marcus nose as he walked over to Sergeant Dorian a both hands resting on the holsters that held his last pistols. The power maul strapped to his back. "Wasn't aware we were fighting beside royalty." Speaking gruffly the Cigar sticking out the side of his lip. "Sergeant Anthony, Marcus Anthony." His hand extended towards the Mordian Sergeant in a gesture of Comraderie.

The rest of the Cadian troopers had taken to loading their Valkyrie and finishing up checks. Cerra Vatao was finishing up her vox checks making sure all instruments were working properly, while the rest of the squad was carrying boxes back and forth. Corporal Kadar stood over to the side watching them all closely. "If you guys moved any slower we would miss the whole battle!" He pointed to Private Tundrish and started yelling. "Get your arse up Tundrish move that damned power pack crate inside or I'll make sure the Sergeant gives you to the sisters for a lesson in duty!"

Tyesha watch as all the others entered the hanger. There were guardsmen, additional space marines but the last one to arrive surprised her, a Venerated Contemptor Pattern Dreadnought. Such technology was said to be lost during the Horus Heresy. To have a full funcitional one here was a shock, a blessing. She wondered if the pilot was around during the heresy if he had seen the emperor. Tyesha was about to break her silence but before she could speak the Inquisitor spoke up.

Tyesha and her squad remained silent as the Inquisitor spoke up. At first it was the usually mission briefing which Tyesha paid close attention to but then it took a sudden turn. The Inquisitor stated that they could not attack the Tau forces. Two of the space marines spoke exactly what was on Tyesha mind but was soon face with the threat of Excommunicate Traitoris. No battle sister had ever received such a punishment and she and her sisters would not be the first. Thus if required she would work with the Xeno’s.

Once the Inquisitor was done speaking, Tyesha approach the dreadnought but he seemed to have a question for the Inquisitor. Thus Tyesha waited for his question and conversation before asking her own question to the dreadnought. Was it possible that the pilot was alive during the Horus Heresy? While waiting for the Inquisitor and Dreadnought to finish their conversation she overheard the guardsmen speaking and smiled at the comments they made about duty and being sent to her for lessons. Once the Inquisitor and the Dreadnought conversation had ended, Tyesha spoke up. "Sir, I request and audiance with you." said Tyesha as she waited for the dreadnought response.

The small detachment of terminators from Righteous Vengeance stood in complete and utter silence. They all turned to look in unison at the sound of doors opening and massive feet falling against the floor of the hangar. They made no change in body language, but Kallius himself was having a hard time containing his joy. He had recognized the venerable dreadnaught the second he had laid eyes on him. Head Chaplain Arthus had been the subject of many a tall tale told within the mess halls of the many ships that Kallius and his brothers had travelled on. They said that when he was a Space Marine, he had killed a Greater Daemon with only his hands and survived in the Warp for an eternity, wielding only his wit as a weapon. Of course, these were just stories. But some of them were true, so Kallius had been told. When the dreadnaught began to sing hymns to the Emperor, Kallius had to resist ever fiber in his body not to join in. The words were as inspiring as if they had been sung by the Primarch himself.

Kallius Antio finally turned away from Arthus when the inquisitor finally arrived to brief them. At the mention of a Warlord class Titan, Kallius closed his eyes and brought up the mental pictures he had of a Titan he had seen after a rather massive and intense battle against the Tyranids. He hadn’t been lucky enough to see it fight, but he had heard that the Titan had been the reason for their victory against the hordes of bugs. At the mention of the Tau, Kallius’s spirits darkened. When they were told that the Xenos would be left alive, Kallius and his men had joined in on the mutterings of heresy. The High Inquisitor apparently believed his word above that of the sacred Codex, written by the Primarch of the Ultramarines. Kallius kept this to himself, however, and listened to the rest of the briefing.”The slaying of heretics and mutants shall be a start to the amendment of this heresy.” Kallius agreed.

Righteous Vengeance, seeing the briefing ended, gathered together to the side. They began to mutter prayers to the God-Emperor, apologizing for the heresy they were being forced to commit by not killing the Xeno scum.

Lorinos IV

"GET BACK!!!" Karrina yelled as her Burst cannon cut another Cultist to pieces. "WE WILL NOT GIVE YOU SCUM A SINGLE INCH OF THIS CITY!!!" she screamed into the bloody tide, her Burst Cannon the only thing keeping them from flowing over her. But, it was steadily overheating, it would only be able to keep up another minute of fire, before it finally gave out. 'So, this is how it ends, crushed beneath a wave of heretics... Thank you for this death in your service, My Lord...' She thought as she was saved by a Rail-Cannon assisting her in her. She seethed in silence 'I see you test me, God Emperor, keep me alive to see if i will fold, but you will never see that, i will never give my heart, body or soul to anyone that is not you, my lord' her thoughts said, dancing within her skull, simultaneously ecstatic and terrified by her imminent death. Her Carbine shredding a Khornate Berzerker charging at her.

****

Above Lorinos IV

"All hands, prepare for drop. Thought for the Day: Doubt is a weakness only Heretics suffer from." said a loud, monotoned voice. As each of the Drop Pods were loaded into place, they were checked over by the techmarines aboard. "May the Emperor protect." they said, as each pod passed them. Viqtor's Sentinel marched across the hangar, straight towards the Valkyrie that Marcus and his Cadians were loading into. He looked over it. "This is an able beast you ride into battle. It shall serve us well." he said, as the sentinel backed into the box that would be taking him down to the battlefield. "May the Emperor protect us all." His Servitors followed him in.

Soon, the green lights across the hangar turned red and the entire ship shook as the drop-pods were fired towards their destination. The Valkyrie took off and grabbed the box, before heading down to the planet.

*********

Lorinos IV

Bashing a Bloodletter in the face, with the Burst-cannon, she took its head clean off with a shot from the carbine. "BASTARDS!!!" she roared at them. Before hearing the sound of screaaming... But not anything from a voice... Her eyes widened as she remembered an old story from her father.

"- they were magnificent... They called themselves the Ultramarines. As all hope seemed lost, they descended from the sky like a rain of Steel and glory. Their pods screamed as they fell, as though to emulate their enemies as they were crushed beneath them."

She heard her fathers words as she saw a drop-pod smash into the tide and it's doors open to reveal the giant warrior, Arthus. Followed by more and more, opening to reveal bolters, chainswords and screams of the Emperor's praise. Her face smiled as, for a moment, everyone seemed to forget what was happening, and merely watched the grand entrance of the Emperor's Finest. She turned on her comms and had to contain herself. "Wa... Warriors of the Greater Good... It appears that the Imperium of Man have come to our... Our aid..." she said. 'My Lord... I prayed for deliverance from Xeno's, and you have sent me your angels of death... Never shall you find me wanting again...' her mind seemed to sing. "FOR THE G-GREATER GOOD!!!" She had to stop herself screaming the praises of the God Emperor, as her Jet-Pack sent her careening into the air to begin aiding the warriors of the imperium.

The few Heretics that had made it over the walls were faced by the Fire-Warriors, naturally, they did not last long in open ground... Those who were lucky enough to survive long enough to look upwards, would see the surrogate guns of the incoming Valkyries and Storm Eagles cutting them down. The ships flew low and dropped their hangar doors, as well as several Tarantula-turrets, to allow the Hammers of the Emperor to drop and begin to do what they did best, purging Heretics. Viqtor's box opened to reveal his sentinel, the auto-cannon, opened fire, cutting through anything that dared stand against its blessed rounds. Viqtor laughed maniacally as it did. "HAHA!!! YOUR CORRUPTED FLESH IS NOTHING COMPARED TO THE OMNISSIAH'S HOLY ARMOUR!!!" His Servitors easily handling the enemies close enough to attack at close range. One picked up a Cultist in it's Claws and crushed the life from it, the cultists torso poping like a squeezed balloon.

Karrina landed next to next to the large Terminator squad. before joining in their fire-fight. "Commander Karrina of the Local Gua-... Gue'Vesa... We thank you for your assistance, Ultramarines." she said.

As the three Black Templars took their paths to walk into the glorious drop pod infront of them. ''Brothers, may the emperor's vengence be delivered from your weapons.'' Caius stated as he took the lead into the drop pods intrior. When he took a seat inside the rather cramped and tight interior. At the top of the interior there was a fully turnable turret. Brother Zephrius would normally have had problems fitting the master-forged heavy bolter into the tight space given, however after many times of likely scenarios he's found his way. As the three great warriors stood locked in place by the drop pod. Their great artificer armour displayed of many conquests and the crusaders shields on Caius' shoulder would be enough proof of this.

Brother Krell is a natural shooter, his steady hand has given many heretics their death sentance. Something interesting to know is that he carves entire death sentances onto each and every bolt of his bolter, sometimes he even does it to both Zephrius and Caius' firearms. ''Brothers..'' Caius spoke out suddenly. ''I serve the emperor. His will is my word and his will is my mind. I am a tool of his will and his will is my law... My weapons is his, my armour is his and my body is his. I am a tool, an instrument so great that I can not be challenged. I am an instrument of the emperor and forever I shall be so.. The emperor is my god, my spiritual king. His greatness echoes yet the abyss of space. His forever power is what I wish to serve, and for eternity I will untill eternity comes and brings me beyond, but even in death I shall perform the emperors will, for I cannot be unbound by this great bond of alliegence, a bond I enjoy and a bond I trust, for when death bring me home, I shall still serve as an eternal harbringer of the emperors word.'' Caius spoke up, his own words, not from a book nor a great codex. ''The Emperor is trust, the Emperor is great, for we templars clad in black are his finest warriors in space, the abyss be great, the abyss be damned, for when chaos springs forth we fought them back. Black is the colour of trust and alliegence, for nothing can plague a pure colour of nothing but trust, for we are his greatest warriors and we will continue forth...'' Zephrius continued as they had done many times before.

Brother Krell woke up from what had been a long sleep of silence, and he spoke with even more love for the emperor then the others, how it was possible unknown, however his faith shined bright and so did his words. ''Repent damned traitors of our great lord; the Emperor of Man. For you who forgot and ran. You who shall not be named by anything other than traitor, you shall be burnt in the thousand colours of flame and fear. We shall not fear, for it is your weapon, but we will make you fear, for it is your weakness... We will show you no pity, no remorse, no fear, for we know non of them.'' And there was a silent space of time without voices within the completely pitch black drop pod, the only light were those of the sensors of the artificer power armour helmets, clad with many different displays of faith.

''The Emperor Protects!'' They roared out and at that very moment the drop pod was under effects of gravity, falling straight down towards the earth, flying out of the hangar and breaking through the atmosphere in almost an instance. Brother Krell was praying to the emperor like he always did before battle, words like 'repent' and 'heretic' shining through his prayers. Caius glaced over to Zephrius and he looked back at him, they both spoke out simultaneously. ''For the Emperor.''

Suddenly the touch down rockets burnt off and within a short enough timeframe the fall doors fell down and crushedsomething beneath them as they fell downwards towards the ground. Instantly the turret at the top of the drop pods interior started roaring out holy bolts into the unending frays of the chaos swarms. ''THE EMPEROR PROTECTS!'' the three of them decided to walk out of their own seperate openings and let the turret handle the last one. Caius swiftly swong out of cover and instantly roared out some of his own holy bullets, the repentance bolt flying out of the barrel of his famed bolter and into the skull of a Kharn Berzerker, simply one of many, however it got the point across, because even though one did enough damage over hundreds more would be fired out in this very instance. ''REPENT HERETIC, FOR THE BLACK TEMPLARS ARE HERE- AND YOUR LIVES END NOW... GLORY TO THE EMPEROR!'' Caius shouted out as his relic sword sat proudly on his back, Brother Zephrius on the other hand was continously spewing out an unending swarm of bolts into the swarm of many, however all in his path fell flat on the ground, yet the swarmes kept coming. On Brother Krells hand he spewed his bolter into the swarmes of heretics aswell, continously praying and ridding the enemies of the emperor.

''Black Templars! Charge forwards, fight honorably and rid the world of man of these traitors!'' Caius shouted out and fired his bolter with his left hand, at the same time grabbing for his relic sword and as he was going to swing it upon an enemy and split it into two he chained his bolter into the chain belt around his waist. As he swong his relic sword his wills had been brought down as he completely smashed a small squad of heretics to the ground with the relic swords power. He the took steps onto them and every so often stepped onto a skull or two.

As the first drop pods to land he found himself surrounded by continously landing drop pods landing around him. Behind him were his Sword Brethren, doing their tasks and things for the emperors glory. As Caius flung the relic sword onto his should he took a quick charge and as he tackled through, litterally through a weak boddied chaos slave he took a moving charge up and swong his sword, cleaving through many chaos scum, finally he had found himself next to the majority of the Imperium forces.

Brother Krell, the most religious and devote warriors to the Emperor amongst the three man elite squad. He managed to over hear a traitor speaking with one of the most glorious warriors of the Imperium of Man, of course he spoke up, still sticking to protocol and ridding heretical spawn and filth at the same time. ''You lost your loyalty to the Imperium of Man and the Emperor to these Xeno's? What kind of human are you if you can't even stay true to the way's of the Emperor?!'' He shouted out, the 10ft tall giant looking even more terrifying then any normal Space Marine. Long armour strong cloths hanging from his waist and shoulders, covering his back with black cloth with a large white cross on the back, revealing the Power Armour from the front.

Caius remained quiet, defiantly he swong his relic sword into the ground and took out his bolter, grabbing onto the hilt of the soldier with his left hand and firing his bolter one handedly with his right. ''Do not give ground to these traitors.. They are filth in the emperors eyes and so they shall remain, even in death, show no forgiveness, for we know none!'' He shouted out to all forces, his rallying cry echoing the vast lands. ''FOR THE EMPEROR!'' He screamed out, feeling his own rallying cry working on himself because his shooting was dead on, the only thing limiting him would be time and focus.

Righteous Vengeance, now positioned within their assigned drop pod, has become totally silent. After a brief struggle, Brother Nahom was able to attach his assault cannon to the weapon rack next to his ‘seat’ in the pod. Then he turned around, strapping himself in. Kallius and Laruo did likewise. Each man was praying within their own minds to the Emperor, asking that He guide the drop pod and their squad to safety, so that they may slay the heretics in His name. Kallius turned his head to the left and to the right, looking at both of his battle brothers. Most Sergeants would have some inspiring words to say to them. But Kallius knew that these men needed no words. The three of them had done this so many times, they had learned not to waste breath on empty words to each other. The only words that needed to be spoken were praises to the Emperor.”May He guide our weapons, and allow our bolts to fly true.” Kallius said solemnly.”Indeed.” The two other Terminators agreed.

After a few minutes of silence as they waited for the drop to begin, Nahom suddenly spoke out.”Brother Laruo?” He said. The Terminator turned his helmet towards Nahom.”Yes? What is it brother?” He asked.”Shoot straight. We don’t want a repeat of Tyros VI.” Nahom said with a chuckle, causing Kallius to laugh as well. Laruo sighed.”How many times must I apologize for that? There was a Xeno charging head long at me, and my targeting systems were down. I didn’t mean to hit you!” This just caused the other marines to laugh louder.”You were as graceful as a Land Raider, Laruo.” Kallius said.”Watching you fumble around to escape that Tyranid’s charge was rather hilarious.” The Sergeant said.”Aye, it was! At least until he nailed me in my shooting arm and caused my assault cannon to go berserk; you almost got us all killed!”

The three Space Marines’ joking was cut short by a monotone voice announcing that they were about to drop. Next came the rush of gravity against their armored bodies as they descended down upon the battlefield, raining death from above.”In too deep, against all odds brothers!” Nahom spoke the war cry of the Genesis chapter into Righteous Vengeance’s vox communications.”Hear hear!” Kallius called back. When the doors of the pod dropped open, the Terminators quickly unhooked themselves and drew their weapons. Nahom’s assault cannon spewed out a train of bolts at the most immediate threats, with Laruo and Kallius splitting off to the left and right of him. Kallius drew his power sword and began to go to work slicing through the bodies of Chaos cultists, spewing out death from his storm bolter at the same time. Their frail bodies were like butter under the heat of the power sword that could cut through armor.

With the tide beginning to stem around Kallius, he looked at his HUD. His storm bolter was trying to lock on to nearby Tau forces, crosshairs appearing over them. With a sigh, Kallius switched to manual firing mode.”Brothers, our targeting systems see the Tau as the enemy. Be vigilante where you fire.” Kallius warned.”Even the machine spirits know of the heresy we have been told to commit this day.” Laruo muttered. The squad moved towards a large breach in the wall of the city, and began to dig in.”For the Emperor!” Nahom cried as he mowed down a horde of Chaos worshippers. Out of no where, a Chaos Terminator appeared in a flash of light right in front of Kallius. The Chaos warrior began to swing its lightning claws furiously at the Terminator Sergeant. Kallius engaged the Chaos Terminator, deflecting the claws with his power sword. Whenever he made an opening in the brutal melee, Kallius fired his storm bolter wildly at his opponent. The duel seemed to last forever as Kallius was continuously put on the defensive. Then Kallius did something rather stupid. He used his teleporter pack to appear behind the Chaos Terminator. The Chaos Terminator, still having its teleporter on cooldown, was unable to retreat. Kallius drove his power sword into the traitor’s head.”Death to the traitors of the Emperor! Kill them all, brothers!” He screamed, catching a glimpse of the Black Templars nearby wrecking hordes of Chaos filth.

When the crisis battlesuit landed in their firing line, the three terminators almost blew it into oblivion. But the Emperor held their trigger fingers still, and they turned their guns back on the enemy. When the Tau warrior introduced herself as the commander of the Gues’Vesa, Kallius couldn’t help but smile inwardly. This human believed them to be Ultramarines. Kallius would never admit it, but he had always wished to be clad in the dark blue of his Founding Chapter, the Ultramarines.”I am Terminator Sergeant Kallius Antio of the Genesis Marines, commander.” Kallius blew the head off a charging blood letter.”How long can your forces hold this position?” He asked. Laruo turned his head towards the source of the voice that had condemned the Tau commander.”Can we truly blame them for this, brother?” He asked.”The Imperium abandoned them in the face of these Xeno scum long ago.” Lauro said. “May the Emperor bless those souls who stayed true to His ways during such events. It is a wonder to me that normal men could ever hold their own against these Xenos.” Nahom said steadily.

Tyesha looked at the drop pod they were going to enter. Even though they had jump packs and could enter the planet quickly with the help of a vessel, the drop pod had its advantages. It was hard to shoot down, it was accurate and best of all it could provide support fire. “Sisters I know many of you do not like this mission but we must to do it. The emperor tests us; he tests our resolve to follow his commands. Hatred is his greatest gift to us and now he seeks to focus it on one enemy and one enemy alone. Remember that a heretic can be forgiven in death, remember that xenos are vile but we cannot blame them for what they are. That being said a traitor chooses to be what he is, there is no forgiveness for traitors, for there is not more vile then a traitor. So in this case work with the xeno to kill the traitor. For even these xenos know that chaos must be purged.” said Tyesha as she looked at her fellow Seraphim’s. To be honest she hated working with xenos but she believed her own words. To destroy chaos she would embrace them, even die for them if it meant ending the threat of chaos.

“Alright sisters we will be deploying by using a drop pod. If you have ever seen same marines use these you would be overjoyed to enter them. They will land us safely into the enemy heart where we can use the element of fear and surprise to destroy the enemy. Now let us enter glorious battle.” said Tyesha as she entered the drop pod and the rest of her battle sisters followed. She heard the noise of two other drop pods launch before she felt the thrust on their drop pod. As they descended the battle sisters began to sing a prayer to the Emperor. The gravity was intense but Tyesha place her faith in the drop pod, her power armour and the Emperor himself.

Then before Tyesha knew what had happened the drop pod came to a stop, she must have passed out for a second or two. The doors opened up and the Seraphim’s quickly unhook themselves while the drop pod provided covering fire. She saw several cultists coming towards her and used her jump pack to land on top of one while drawing her plasma pistols. She could hear his bones snap as she landed on top of him and fired her plasma pistol at another heretic. Her squad quickly formed up around her, firing there bolts pistols at the enemy heretics. If any made it past the bolt pistols they would be met with the inferno pistols and drop pod automatic fire. As the heretic bodies began to liter the ground she saw a hellbrute make its way to the front line. “Sisters destroy that abomination.” said Tyesha as she drew out her eviscerator and charged the hellbrute. The hellbrute responded by firing its storm bolter at the seraphim’s while firing its multi-melta at the drop pod. Although the sister armour and speed protected them from the bolter rounds the drop pod was destroyed by the multi-melta. Using her jump pack she attempted to land behind the hellbrute, hoping to catch it by surprise while her Seraphims distracted him. That being said she herself was also a distraction. If the hellbrute focus on her he would leave himself vulnerable to the inferno pistols that her squad carried.

Tyesha activated her jump pack sending her flying above the hellbrute while her jump pack made her look like an avenging angel. Yet to Tyesha surprise the hellbrute simply turned half way, splitting his attention between Tyesha and the rest of the Seraphim’s. As Tyesha attempted to cut the hellbrute with her Eviscerator it moved its dreadnought weapon to smash her and it would have successful if not for the inferno pistols sending it off balance. If the Hellbrute had focused all its attention on Tyesha it would have been destroyed by the Inferno Pistols. Using her Eviscerator she cut the hellbrute arm off before using her jump pack to land on top of it and cut into its head with her Eviscerator, spilling the pilots inwards everywhere. Her squad then fell back to the Genesis Terminators, providing covering fire for there flanks.

The temptation to tell the truth was almost too great to bare, but she knew that they would be monitoring her comms, and would probably activate the self-destruct of the suit if she said anything against the greater good. For the moment, she had to maintain the illusion that she was loyal to the Tau... But there might be a way to tell them something without her comms. "My men can hold forever, as they all fight for the Greater Good." The suit held up a fist, with her thumb and little finger both pointed upwards. It was an old Imperial Guard signal that her father had taught her, meaning "Quiet, the enemy is close." With no small amount of luck, they would get the message that she couldn't say her real feelings... Or, much more likely, they, either, wouldn't understand an old Imperial Guard hand sign, or would take it to mean the Heretics around them as the enemy. A pair of Stealth-suits reappeared as they smashed into the ground next to her and continued to fire with their burst cannons.

********
Inside of the Warp.
********

Watching the battle from the other side of the Warp Portal, Lord Rothan smiled as the Emperor's Angels of Death descended on the battlefield. "My Lord, the Corpse Emperor's minions have arrived, they are pushing us back." said one of the Aspiring Champions.

"You talk as though I did not realize this turn of events." replied Rothan. "Call a full retreat, our objectives here have been succeeded... I believe it is time for phase 2." he said, before stepping into the large warp portal and onto the battlefield, his large wings catapulted him into the air and onto a large rock, to make sure he was in full view of everyone. "SERVANTS OF THE EMPEROR!!!" he boomed over the sounds of the battle. Everyone would hear him. Several squads that were close enough opened fire at him. Bolter Rounds and Rockets stopping just before reaching him, simply hovering motionless. "YOU HAVE FOUGHT VALIANTLY, COMMENDABLE HOW YOU HAVE ENTERED THE BATTLE AND IMMEDIATELY TURNED THE TIDE!!!" he looked around "BUT LOOK AT WHAT YOU ARE FIGHTING FOR!!! A PLANET OF XENO'S!!! OUR SWORN ENEMIES!!! YET YOU FIGHT SIDE BY SIDE WITH THEM!!! YOU NEED TO FACE THE FACTS, SPACE MARINES, THE IMPERIUM IS DEAD... THE EMPEROR IS CRYING IN HIS GOLDEN GRAVE!!! HIS GRAND VISION FOR THE UNIVERSE IS DESTROYED... AND YOU HAVE ALLOWED IT TO BE SO... JOIN ME, AND WE SHALL CRUSH THESE FILTHY XENO'S AND RE-TAKE THIS UNIVERSE FOR THE GLORY OF THE IMPERIUM, AND THE DARK GODS!!!" he yelled.

As he spoke, Viqtor watched the Chaos Lord, his Servo Skull fed him data on the appearance. "That's... Oh no..." The Chaos Lord continued his speech, but Viqtor wasn't listening, he opened a vox to the Inferno "INFERNO, THIS IS INQUISITOR REMLY!!! MY SERVO SKULL IS FEEDING YOU COORDINATES, BY ORDER OF THE INQUISITION, I ORDER YOU TO DISREGARD ALL OTHER ORDERS AND LOCK ONTO THOSE COORDINATES AND OPEN FIRE WITH EVERY CANNON AVAILABLE!!! YOUR TARGET IS A PRIMUS-LEVEL OBJECTIVE!!!" he screamed into the vox-caller. Orders were that he was to be killed by Exterminatus... Since that was out of the question, a volley of Nova Cannon fire was the next best thing. He then voxed to the others "ALL UNITS, GET CLEAR OF THE CHAOS LORD, INFERNO IS ABOUT TO OPEN FIRE!" he roared at the vox-caster.
