She was a street junkie with no fancy pants clothing to speak of. If they wanted her to show up in leathers, she would be all for it. Have multiples to choose from in fact. She had short shorts and tank tops. But a dress-up dress was not among her few possessions. She would think about that last. She set about pinning her hair up into a mohawk, laying flat against her head with the dark curls fluffed and allowed to hang down her back. Simple earrings and a necklace of cubic zirconia was enough adornment. Once satisfied that her make up was done properly she reached her arm into the void and produced a pants suit. The pants were high-waisted and black with belted adornments on them. The top was low cut and white, practically see through but she didn't mind. The looked was completed with an old black vest she owned. Bobi didn't have any heels so she wore the only pair of shoes she owned - her favorite scuffed combats. Satisfied she looked presentable, she made her way down to join the others for the party.

Bobbi did what she did best, converse with people. She happily chatted up a few different high and wealthies, flirted too. But she was soon brushed off. She was just the help after all. She considered doing as Gambit had suggested earlier and lifted some wallets. However, she would have eyes upon her and she didn't particularly feel like getting in trouble. Even if they were rich assholes.

She yawned and stretched as Rossi's voice came through her comm. Yes! Finally. A little excitement! With a feral grin, she said, "I'm not too far away from the labs, I'll head there." Not as fast as Watts she still was pretty spritely and made her way through the halls to R&D.

A man wasn't a man without a suit. He went for a fin, three-piece tux and pomaded his hair back from his face. He wore minimal jewelry but still managed to look like he was worth more than he could ever dream. He spent a good portion of the party skirting the edges of the room. He took in people, noted unusual scents or actions. He kept a catalog of everyone's face and was so very, very careful. His first thoughts were for the safety of those at the party. He did not much care about what was going on in their boss' office. Not until Rossi reported an intrusion.

Wesley reached up and responded back into the headset - "I'll stay here and make sure nothing happens to the guests. I'll keep my eyes out." His heart began to thrum with the thrill of the attack. When things began to go down-hill it was his job to make sure it all went right. Her heard Bobbi declare she would help Watts since she was closer to that direction. He nearly shouted that she should stay here with him so he could keep a better eye on her. He was sure Watts would keep the girl in line though. "Maybe one or two others should stay here with me so that the guests don't get suspicious," he muttered as quietly as he could while still being heard by those on the other end of the comms.

Evelyn stayed mostly in the back of the room watching everyone in the room seeing Watts walking in between both Tony Stark and Hank Pym, talking about some sciencey kind of stuff that she didn't really know about. She had her two weapons in the corner that she stood in, she ran a hand through her hair. She ignored any of the more richer people who tried to come up to her, and took a glass of wine when one of the servers walked by as well. Then she stopped drinking for a moment when she heard Andrew over the radio announcing the presence of Quicksilver in the room, which wasn't good at all. Well the night was certainly going to be interesting after all they weren't having to babysit a bunch of rich billionaires anymore. "I'm on my way to Gardner's office now as well." Evelyn said

She knew that speedsters always had a problem with the cold, as well and luckily they did have a walking freezer with them. "Sapphire, speedsters have an aversion to the cold, if you could assist with that would be great." Evelyn said as she quickly grabbed her two weapons and quickly started to make her way towards Gardner's office as well, she wasn't sure who else would be going after Wanda aside from Watts and Andrew.

In the Ballroom
"Mr. Martin, is there a problem of sorts that I should be aware of?" Rae Gardner asked him as she walked up, giving him a slight smile. Wesley would be able to tell that something seemed off about her, more of something off with her smile. Almost as if she knew completely that something was going on, but he couldn't figure out really how, so it might not be anything at all.

"Martin, what are you doing? Get going to deal with the other two, we can handle keeping things from moving up here, but you need to get going right now. Even if they are able to slow down a speedster, he still can cause problems, not to mention the fact that the Scarlet Witch is powerful in her own right. Reason why the pair of them are a dangerous combination, so get out of the Ballroom and to where one of the two are," Psylocke's voice crackled over the comms in response to what he had been saying.

So currently he had a choice, keep talking with the CEO of Serval Industries, or go help deal with the break in problem.

"I was definitely thinking along the same lines, I'll meet up with you at Gardner's office and let's see if we can slow down a speedster. Warning never actually attempted to deal with one before as Watts wouldn't let me test out how much cold is needed to slow one down, so bear with me a little bit," Sapphire responded over the comms, as she headed out of the ballroom. She was all too happy to get out of the crowd and into something a bit more interesting then watching a bunch of rich people sitting there talking to each other about how much money they have or something.

Sapphire easily met up with Belladonna and Evelyn, giving them a slight smirk, before she glanced into the room and saw the streak of silver that signaled that the speedster was around. "Warning to you two, it's going to get a little bit cold in here," she said to them, before the air in and around the room started to get quite a bit colder, to the point where there were bits of ice starting to appear on the floor underneath her. Bella and Evelyn would be fine from the cold thankfully, and the best part about this was that now it was clear that the speedster was slowing down a bit.

And he definitely noticed.

"What the hell do you think you're doing? Rude!" Pietro said, stopping in his tracks with a rush of wind and papers went flying everywhere, but he was staring right at them.

Andrew was making his way through the vents of Serval fairly quickly, and to him it definitely was a better way to get around places quickly for someone without super speed. Otherwise he'd have to go deal with crowds or something, and considering the fact that they kind of had somewhat of a time limit, this definitely was the best way to move around Serval.

Eventually he found his way into the lab, around the time that Watts showed up as well with Bobbi a little ways behind him. However, Andrew didn't have any problems slipping out of the vent into the room, while Wanda was looking through various things. Watts on the other hand, would slam straight into a barrier that Wanda had created around the doorways of the room. Scarlet Witch chuckled slightly, before looking over at him, "Do you really think I'm that stupid? Honestly, I knew we'd trigger the alarms and you all would be heading down here in minutes. However I do not have time to deal with you, I'm a bit busy at the moment. Oh, and one more thing, do you really think I don't know how to deal with speedsters of any sort?" she said with another laugh before she went back to going through various devices that were lying around nearby.

Andrew had to hold in his laughter at seeing Watts hit the barrier, and that wasn't just a bump on the head. When Watts hit the barrier, he got thrown backwards and onto the ground, so he likely was going to have more then a few bruises. Now though was not the time for Andrew to crack jokes about Watts looking a bit like a fool, now he needed to see about getting Wanda distracted enough so that the barrier went down.

"I'd say you probably are a bit on the dumb side if you ask me," he called out to her, before he flew up and punched her in the face, knocking her backwards now. It wasn't enough really to cause much damage to her, however he did accomplish his goal in causing Wanda to lose focus, lowering the barrier and allowing Watts to now enter the room.

"You little pest!" Wanda snapped back, not even noticing that the barrier was lowered, and she had her back turned to the doorway now. Andrew went back to his normal size and sent blasts flying at her, but she easily deflected them away. Her hands were glowing red as she then sent him flying backwards slamming into the wall. "Just stay out of my way and there won't be any other issues."

"Yeah right..." Andrew said as he picked himself up off the ground. Wanda's eyes flashed red, her hands still glowing, and suddenly Andrew fell to the ground again, and he'd find that he wasn't really in the lab anymore, as Wanda had trapped him in his own head.

"Keep the twins separated," Watts instructed over the comms. He knew that having Quicksilver and the Scarlet Witch in the same location never ended well. While Quicksilver was an idiot and had speed, his sister was more dangerous with an entire cocktail of destructive and manipulative powers. He heard that the junkie was going to come assist him without her handler - great. "You sure you're cut out for this?" he asked Bobbi over the comms, derision clear in his voice. "I agree with Psylocke - send the handler." At least if Martin was there, he wouldn't need to worry about Bobbi messing up. She was Martin's problem as far as Watts was concerned. He was running so fast to the lab that he slammed into a barrier and went flying backwards, his head pounding for a moment.

"Would you stop monologuing?!" he snapped, glaring at the Scarlet Witch. With his eyes glowing red from the serum, he probably looked something like the devil. He heard Andrew doing his best to sound tough, while not even doing really much to stop her. The Scarlet Witch wasn't someone that could be beaten in a straight fight. However, at least Andrew's actions got the barrier down and Watts sped into the room. He went so fast that he was able to create a solid after image of himself - something called a speed clone. Not only was the speed clone able to attack, but it was also able to take damage.

Together, Watts and the speed clone rushed forward, punching Wanda and sending her flying backwards.

Evelyn looked towards Sapphire and gave her a slight smile and nodded towards her. "Well it's a first time for everything Quicksilver should be a good little test subject for you instead of Watts." Evelyn said as soon as she entered the room, she noticed the blur of silver going around the office. She could feel the room getting colder as Sapphire started to use her powers, and noticed that the ice was slowly starting to build up in the room now as well. And Quicksilver stopping when he noticed the drop in the room temperature and starred directly at the speedster before them.

"We will keep Quicksilver busy here, you just handle Scarlet Witch." Evelyn said to Watts over the radio and then turned her attention back towards Quicksilver. "And crashing a party, while sneaking off to the CEO's office is pretty damn rude to." Evelyn said, before running across the room, getting into a fighting stance as she launched a kick towards him, only making him stumble backwards a little bit from her attack.

Bella looked at the two women, before she took out her gun from her thigh holder. She waved her hand over it, infusing it with ice magic. If cold was what could help with this situation, then having a back-up ice user would not hurt. "I'm fine with the cold. Let's go say hello." They entered the office and Quicksilver quickly took notice.

She pointed the gun at him, "Freeze." She shot at him, hitting him in the shoulder with her ice bullets. She still had the gun trained on him. "Mind telling us what you hope to find in here or are you just a distraction for the real brains and brawn between you and your sister?" She had some confidence the others could handle Scarlet Witch, but she was powerful and would not hold back.

"What? Do you expect me to do the whole super villain monologue thing? Because I leave that to my sister, she tends to do it a bit more often then I do... Like a lot more then I do, it seriously gets annoying. So yeah, I'm not telling you what we were doing, and honestly, you all are just getting a little bit annoying," he said with an eye roll, shooting a slight glare at the three of them. Wanda! These people are being meeeeean! They keep shooting me with ice!!!!

What do you expect me to do about it? Did you find anything useful in the office?

Nope, but they are being meeeeeeeeeean!

Then come to the lab already and help me deal with this fake speedster and pesky bug!

"Sorry, but I've got to run." Pietro said with a slight smirk at the group, and looked like he was about to take off running.

"Oh no you don't!" Sapphire said, before, the entire ground around them seemed to turn to ice completely, "Damn, did not mean to do that..." she muttered under her breath, as it also started to snow. Bella would start feeling the chill from the cold now, but Evelyn was still fine at the moment.

Pietro tried to take off running, but he ended up slipping on the ice badly enough to send him flying backwards, slamming into the ground. There was a loud crack as one of Pietro's legs snapped in half, the bone sticking out of it and a pool of blood was starting to appear on the ground around him. He took a bit of a deep breath, wincing slightly from the pain, before he used his hand to effectively shove the bone back into place so it was no longer sticking out. Despite the cold slowing him down, it was already obvious that his leg was starting to heal. It wouldn't be too long until he was back on his feet again.

"Wow... Did not expect that outcome, but I am perfectly fine with the results... Now stand down and tell us what it is you were hoping to find here," she said, daggers made out of ice forming in her hands and she looked right at him.

"Not saying... No fun in that..." he responded with a slight cough. His shoulder was still hurting a bit from where Belladonna had shot him before, but even that was starting to slowly heal itself.

Thankfully for Andrew, he wasn't stuck in Wanda's nightmare for very long. Thanks to Watts providing some sort of distraction, he was able to break free from it. He shrunk down again and took off into the air, so that way Wanda hopefully wouldn't really notice him. "Speedsters, typically annoying sorts," she said with a slight eye roll, "But you aren't an actual speedster, so you probably aren't that fast in comparison."

With that, she lifted Watts off of the ground (managing to see through his clone and figure out which one was which) and slammed him down into the ground. She repeated this a few times, since she clearly was more then just a little annoyed with him. He'd end up getting his face bloodied up a little bit, and several bruises elsewhere on his body, he was definitely going to be hurting a bit after this whole situation was over with.

Now that he was in a better position, Andrew sent several blasts slamming into Wanda, enough to get her to let go of Watts and leave him on the ground. "Of course the bug is back," she muttered, trying to throw Andrew around, however it was very difficult considering he was a very small moving target.

"Don't stop the villain monologue now! Tell us what you're after!"

"Ugh humans, such a waste of time, and space really... But that is all going to change with what we're after, though I am more then a bit annoyed. This was supposed to be simple, and the security was supposed to be down because of our contact's interference... Wanda mused, partially ignoring the two of them, but she was still trying to hit Andrew who was flying around.

"Yup, never stop a villainous monologue, it is always the best way to get people to tell you what you want to know," Andrew said loud enough so that Watts heard him.

Bobbi caught up in time to watch Watts fall backward from the barrier. She did not bother to attempt to cover up her laughter as the grump asshole lay flat on his back. Served him right. "You sure you're cut out of this old man?" she inquired with a teasing sneer. This joy was short-lived though as they had to deal with the crazy woman in the lab. She followed a bit behind Watts so as to not get in the way but to also see what the Witch would have in store for them. The best way to prepare for a cage fight was to watch other cage fighters, after all. This was her first true battle with the team and once she got a feel for how they did things she could step in. She was a brawler, the last thing she wanted to do was hit either Watts or Andrew. Okay, maybe Watts a little bit.

The Witch was proving formidable and it was time for her to stop standing at the sidelines. She pushed her hand into the void to call her faithful, trusty, and dependable companion - Captain KO - to the killing field. She dug around a moment before her fingers wrapped around a handle and she pulled the object to her location. Unfortunately, Captain KO had decided not to make an appearance. In its stead was a squeaky toy hammer. Bobbi stared at it in disbelief before shaking her head and turning in time to see Wanda smash Watts into the ground. Bobbi hemmed and hawed on how soon she should go to his rescue when Andrew came to his aid. Fine, time to stop fuckin around.

Bobbi rushed further into the room, tossing the toy hammer at Wanda's face. Bullseye! It struck the woman right in the nose with a pathetic squeak and Bobbi was not far behind. Another misfortune - the Witch sidestepped and Bobbi moved past her, tumbling forward. She managed to save herself though and while nowhere near ballerina-esque she was able to turn the fall into a roll to come back up into a standing position. On the way to upright, she snatched up her toy hammer and turned her attention on Wanda. "Right bitch. Its a mother fucking party, don't you wanna dance with me? I'm hurt," she taunted.

Wesley nearly responded. But Gardner's features, the way she was standing and smiling, something wasn't right. He smiled kindly in return as he studied her face. His response would be important, he couldn't say whatever. Was Gardner fishing for something from him? Did she know what was going on? Psylocke's voice blared over the intercom and into his ear. He made no shift or change to indicate he heard. There was a part of him feeling a bit vindictive since the group had NOT chosen a leader. But he would go and join the others, just as soon as he finished here with Gardner.

"Nothing of true consequence. We are handling it. Is everything going as smoothly as you anticipated?" he asked, and after a small pause added, "For the charity." He was hoping to glean a bit more information off of this woman. His military training would allow him to search her face and body language for clues and her voice for inconsistencies. When his interest was satisfied he would then join the group dealing with the Scarlet Witch.

"Oh, I'm much more than a speedster," Watts said ominously - the glowing red eyes probably wasn't helping to sell him as a hero and not a villain at the moment. As he was repeatedly slammed into the ground, he was grateful that she hadn't gone after his speed clone. Speed clones happened when he moved so quickly as to effectively be in two places at once. The Scarlet Witch could have hurt the speed clone and doubled the damage she did to him. However, he was coughing up a bit of blood and was in a lot of pain from being repeatedly slammed - he was just a skinny scientist in a suit. It was more painful though hearing Andrew encourage Wanda to monologue. "I hate monologues," he muttered, spitting blood on the ground as he got to his feet.

"Idiot!" he snapped at Bobbi, as she summoned a squeaky toy and threw it at the Scarlet Witch, as if that would do anything. And she had the audacity to call him an old man? He was entertaining the notion of planting some drugs in her room and getting her hauled off to jail. It would give him some much needed peace and quiet. They didn't need a drug addict here doing gymnastics and throwing chew toys around the room anyways.

Working in unison with his clone, Watts waved his arms rapidly in circles aimed at Wanda. He was moving so fast that he and the clone generated a miniature cyclone, trapping the Scarlet Witch inside of it. The vortex was giving her trouble breathing and was preventing her from using her powers, so Watts saw an opportunity and he took it. He tried to grab her, intending on phasing her through the wall and throwing her down onto the pavement below, but she somehow managed to avoid his grasp.

Evelyn shook her head slightly at Quicksilver who didn't reveal why they were here in the first place either which did annoy her quiet a bit as well. She noticed the room starting to get much colder now as well seeing the ice forming on the floor as well as a little bit of snow appearing in the room. Which was good now as well it would effect Quicksilver a lot more than they would, he then decided to try and leave the room and watched him slip and slide across the floor. She winced slightly when she heard the snapping sound and looked down seeing the bone sticking out of his leg.

She quickly went over and tried to knock him out, only for her to miss grumbling more to herself, looking between Belladonna and Sapphire in the room. "Why don't we just ice him, like Captain America and just leave him in an icecube instead?" Evelyn suggested while looking over at the door. "Try freezing the door, so that he wont be able to escape?" Evelyn said looking over towards Sapphire as well.

Bella still had her gun trained on him, but even she knew she wouldn't be able to hit him at his speed, as good of a shot as she was. He wasn't about to open up to them either and they had little time. She was confident Scarlet Witch would be handled by the others, but if they could weasel information out of either of them, Quicksilver was the best bet. In a quick moment, he was starting to run out the door until Sapphire froze the floor beneath them.

Bella started to feel chilly, but then again she was in a dress. She would persevere. And Pietro was taken out relatively easy, enough that he injured his leg. He managed to fix it quickly and it already started to heal. So he was fast in all regards maybe? Either way, as he laid on the ground, she took aim and popped an ice bullet into his knee, shattering it. "Tell us what we want to know or I go along every joint in your body." It was a cold threat (heh cold) but she meant it.

In the Ballroom

"Good, I was a bit concerned that whatever trouble had arisen that might cause a mass panic, even if Tony Stark was sober and brought his Iron Man suit along for some reason, it would not end well I assure you," she said, giving him a smile, there was still something off about her, and he couldn't figure it out. She seemed to know more about everything then she let on, but there wasn't anything that Wesley could tell for certain about her, unless she chose to tell him.

"Anyway, I am doing quite well thank you, and everything is going just as I had planned and hoped for. Tonight has been an incredible success."

"Answer the damn question Quicksilver," Sapphire added, glaring right at the speedster, who mainly just flinched more then anything as the bullet ripped into his knee. He shot a glare at Belladonna, before he reached into his injury and yanked the bullet out, tossing them off to the side.

"Give me one good reason to," he said, before he stood up, his broken leg was already healed, and he was sort of leaning on his one good leg due to the bullet injury. However his knee injury, despite slow, was starting to heal somewhat as well. "Also, bullets hurt like hell, but trust me, I have been hit by a lot worse then anything you girls can throw at me."

"Do you really want to take that bet there speedster?" Sapphire asked with a laugh, this guy was just ridiculous in her mind. This guy was supposed to be the one of the Brotherhood's main guys to send out? That did not seem like the case, given the fact that he was barely more then a teenager it seemed like. What the hell was he doing here? "Just answer the question!" she said again, before she froze the door over, making it a bit more difficult for him to leave the room.

"Fine, I'll humor you... A genetic splicer, down in the lab? My father plans to use it to see if he can give normal humans the x-gene."

Andrew practically did a face palm at what Bobbi was doing, and Wanda just laughed at her. He started blasting at her, trying to knock her down, but only managed to cause her to stumble, he was probably annoying her more then anything else. This was not going their way at all, that was obvious, and now he was really wishing that Wesley had decided to join them, since they realistically needed one more person to do this right.

Wanda's eyes glowed red, as did her hands, and there was a shockwave of that sent Andrew backwards, knocking Bobbi away as well, and stopping Wells from running easily, as she had hit both him and his little friend. She walked away from where she was simply, going over to a table, and looking around, she smirked slightly at something as she picked something up. "Well there it is, just what I was looking for..."

Bobbi would have no clue whatsoever what it was that she was holding, however Andrew and Watts would know all too well what it was. It was called a genetic splicer, meant to potentially alter a person's DNA at a cellular level, there were hundreds of different ways it could be used, but considering the fact that Magneto was the one after it, it wasn't too hard to figure out why he'd want it.

"I hate to be rude, this has been so much fun, but I really do need to get going," she said simply as she started to leave.

Watts and his clone were both hit by the wave and it slowed him down enough that his speed clone vanished. The cyclone hadn't been enough to contain her and he was panting a bit from the exertion, hitting the button on his watch to give him another boost of speed. Wesley he doubted was going to show up at this rate and if the Scarlet Witch got away with the freaking genetic splicer, he was going to make sure that the CEO knew exactly who was to blame for that. Watts wasn't scared of the Brotherhood giving people the X-gene - no, he was scared of the idea of a bunch of terrorists modifying DNA with a device they couldn't possibly understand. People would die from that sort of gene editing.

He had to destroy it. Running in a circle as fast as he could, sparks of red lightning kicked up behind Watts. He then threw his arm, aiming at Wanda, and he ended up essentially throwing the lightning at the genetic splicer in her hand. The lightning hit and Watts' heart soared, hoping that the device had been destroyed - but nothing really happened to it. Had the Scarlet Witch manipulated the probabilities in order to keep it from being damaged? He just didn't know. He was angry enough to scream and god help whoever tried to talk him down after this. His technology was being stolen and the team couldn't care less! "Get your asses to the lab NOW or you won't need to worry about the Scarlet Witch killing you, I'll do it myself!" he shouted over the comms.

The shockwave sent Bobbi flying backward. She was unable to turn the fall into a roll and instead just bounced along the ground. The toy hammer striking surfaces as she tumbled added comedy to her tragedy. With a groan, Bobbi got to her feet, unwilling to let the Witch get what she was coming after. Whatever that thing in her hands was, it was obviously important. Otherwise, she wouldn't be after it would she? Watts' lightning surprised her and even worse when he started shouting, throwing a temper-tantrum. Was it that big a deal? Calm the fuck down man.

She couldn't continue fighting with the stupid toy hammer. With a deep breath, she calmed herself and reached once against into the void. After a few moments of digging around her hand clasped something. When she drew the object out it was indeed her trusty hammer. Captain KO had now entered the fray. Bobbi gave a whoop of delight. She threw the stupid toy hammer at Wanda, the toy seeming to aim true. However, the toy was deflected and instead hit the raging Watts in the face. Bobbi clasped a hand over her mouth as she made an audible gasp. She was going to get an earful later and it would be so hard to keep a straight face.

Enough dilly-dallying though. She charged Wanda, swinging her hammer low in order to sweep the woman's feet from beneath her. Unfortunately, this did not hit and Bobbi cursed softly.

Wesley merely smiled at the woman good-naturedly. She was more off than expired milk but he couldn't place his finger quite on what it was. He had a great suspicion she knew exactly what was going on behind the scenes. His quiet, happy reserve was almost broken when Watts screamed in his ear. He gave Gardner a slight bow. "I am glad to hear it. I need to check on the team but I hope there is a chance to chat again before the eve is out." He then turned and left. He walked calmly through the ballroom and only once the doors to the hall shut behind him did he begin to sprint.

How unlucky this all was. Well, he supposed luck had nothing to do with it at all. If Gardner was planning some shady things, having them underprepared and distracted was the way to go. He quietly cursed himself for not having left sooner. He had not gleaned much else from their CEO and had wasted precious minutes. Now Watts was going to tear them all to shreds and shriek like a banshee in a wind turbine for their failures. He wondered idly if the serum is what gave him the predilection to a short fuse.

Evelyn stood there, as she looked down at Quicksilver crossing her arms over her chest as she listened to him as he told them why they were both there in the first place. A genetic splicer if in the wrong hands did sound really bad and seeing that Magneto had his eyes on it and sending his two kids in to retrieve it was back enough. She watched Belladonna taking her gun and shooting him in the leg seeing the bullet cutting through his kneecap Eve flinched a little bit. She then heard Watts over the radio sounding like they were having problems with the Scarlet Witch on their end now.

Evelyn then walked over towards Quicksilver using her strength as she brought down her foot down on Quicksilver's already injured leg, shattering it. Evelyn then turned towards his other leg and did the same exact thing, making sure that he wouldn't be able to get up and walk anytime soon. Looking over at Belladonna and Sapphire since they had powers to keep him slowed down for the time being figured they could keep him still. "I'm going to help Watts and Andrew, you two got him secured?" Evelyn asked looking over at the two of them, and then over at the frozen door and then over towards Sapphire to see if she could unblock the door for her. "I'm on my way, just try and hold her off if you can." Evelyn said over the radio.

Bella hadn't been too concerned with the mutant and human fighting. So long as she was paid, she did her job. She was a mutant, of course, but that didn't necessarily mean she took that side. In her opinion, it was all pointless. She could understand the human's fears of them and the unknown. She could see they were worried about a future where mutants rose up. But she also knew that mutants were often targeted, with some just wanting to fit in and be accepted for their differences.

So hearing that Magneto wanted to give humans an X-gene didn't really much sense. "What sense does that make? Magneto wants control over humans. Why would he give one he detests something like that?" This was a science question and, thus, out of her wheelhouse. Evelyn left, but not before putting more hurt on Quicksilver. Bella smiled briefly before returning a stony gaze back to Quicksilver. "What does he hope to accomplish? Or the next bullet goes into your head and I doubt a speedy recovery follows that."

Sapphire nodded her head, before she waved her hand and the door opened up, allowing her to be able to get through and head off after the others. She then turned to look at the speedster, she herself was more then a little annoyed with Quicksilver. "Answer her question, got it?" she said, glaring at him.

"The splicer was just the beginning, you all think you have a bunch of people who know technology? We do too, the whole point was to get it, figure out how it worked and make it a whole lot bigger!"

"So what, you'd just make a big splicer or something, what is so great about that?"

"The whole point was to make it into some like ray thing or whatever, in order to effect a lot of people at the same time as opposed to just one person at a time."

"You do realize that odds are if you screwed up you'd kill a lot of people right? Instead of I'm guessing turn a bunch of humans into mutants like you wanted to."

"Yeah I know, but honestly is that such a bad thing really?"

"Well I've heard enough, we've caught him and he's not going anywhere, so let's head up to deal with that witch of sister," Sapphire said, nodding at the other two, before they'd hear something not too far above them it felt like, and the room shook slightly.

It sounded like a loud explosion.

Andrew was trying to think of what to do, considering the fact that no one was even really getting close to Wanda, and no one really was able to hurt her. She was going to get away with the splicer at this rate, so he instantly flew over and started blasting at her. However she was able to easily deflect the attacks, and she was smirking slightly. That's when he got a different idea, and he started messing with the blaster on his arm somewhat, and he pointed it at Wanda. Well, not really at Wanda, but at the splicer itself, before he fired it off. Wanda hadn't been expecting it as the splicer shrunk down to a smaller size, and he used that confusion to his benefit as he flew over and slammed into her, grabbing the splicer from her before flying backwards away from her again.

"You little bug!" she snapped, getting up off the ground.

"Whatever you say Maximoff," he said simply in response, before the device went back to normal size, seemed like it was only a temporary thing whatever he did. Wanda started sending blasts at him, but he sent blasts back deflecting most of them, and now it was clear that she was starting to get mad. That's when she sent a big blast flying at him, and since Bobbi was kind of standing inbetween her and Andrew, she would end up getting knocked to the ground. The blast slammed into him, causing him to stumble and his suit was starting to spark slightly, but that wasn't the big problem, that was a simple problem with a simple solution. What Wanda's attack did caused a major problem.

It caused the splicer in his hand to explode.

Wesley would get up to the room just in time to see the somewhat large explosion that destroying the splicer had caused. Bits of metal from the device as well as some of the objects nearby were sent flying. When the explosion subsided and the fire dimmed down, there was one major thing that was wrong. Andrew wasn't standing where he had been. He was completely gone.

"Damn, really needed that splicer... And I guess your threat there doesn't exactly hold up, since that was a pretty big explosion," Wanda said, almost mocking Watts in a way.

If looks could kill, Bobbi would have been dead - not just in this world, but in every reality across the multiverse. His glowing red eyes always looked angry, but they were particularly vicious in this moment. She had hit him with a toy hammer. He never wanted them to take on the drug addict - this was a superhero team, not a rehab clinic. Once this was over with, he was going to go straight to Gardner and demand Bobbi's termination. It was her or him - and Watts was more than certain he wouldn't have a hard time finding a job with one of Serval's competitors. Bobbi didn't even manage to hit Wanda with the real hammer. What exactly was the point of having her around? Her only powers seemed to be the sort of slapstick comedy that made Watts' kids love Nickelodeon. "What a fantastic suggestion - if only we had thought of just fighting her!" he snapped over the radio at Evelyn. Yes, he was smitten with her but right now, he was pretty much all rage.

He was like ice as he watched the ensuing explosion. For everyone else, it happened in the blink of an eye - but Watts was moving so fast that he could see it all in excruciating detail. Andrew wasn't just shrunk down and seemingly dead. He died. Period. There was no undoing that. He could hear the blood pumping through his veins and without thinking about it, Watts ran forward and grabbed the Scarlet Witch, forcing her to the ground as he punched her repeatedly as super speed without stopping to even take a breath. Even as she fell unconscious, bloodied and bruised, Watts didn't stop with his attacks. All that his mind could think about was the explosion - that he hadn't been fast enough to save Andrew - and that Serval had made such an incompetent team that the annoying little cupcake lover had just died pointlessly. Red lightning coursed around his body as he continued to pummel the mutant sorceress and he didn't hear anyone around him - all he heard was a ringing in his head.

This wasn't John Watts anymore - he was Mercury now and only Mercury. His humanity had been left behind.

She let out a whoop of excitement when Andrew stole the device from Wanda. Clever, turning it all small like that! Of course, that was why he was one of those super smart science dudes. She did her best to keep out of the way but unfortunately was unable to do so. The blasts from Wanda had knocked her backward. She rolled on the floor to her final position on her stomach. Her hammer slipped from her fingers and spun across the floor.

The explosion rocked the room and she stumbled a bit as she attempted to stand up, finding herself on her stomach again. The acrid smell of burning plastics and hot metals filled her nostrils and she coughed. She flipped her messy mane of hair from her face and came to terms with the nothing that was before her. Many, many times she had seen someone die. It was inevitable with junkies who never got better. But there was always a body. Maybe Andrew escape? Maybe he was just really super small right now.

"Andrew," she managed to squeak out, her voice unwilling to form the word. She coughed and tried again, calling louder and perhaps more hysterically, "Andrew!?"

And then Watts was on top of Wanda. Bobbi stood in shock, not sure how to stop this onslaught. Lucky for the Witch, Wes appeared.

He was just in time for the explosion. What had caused it and where it came from was a complete mystery to him for now. All he knew was that Andrew was missing and that Watts was going to reem them out later for the damage done to his laboratory. He skidded to a halt at the doorway as he took in the aftermath of the chaos. Bobbi stood aside, attempting several times to call out Andrew's name before finally managing a raspy breath that sounded like words. Watts was enraged.

Before he could do anything the man was on top of Wanda, beating her to a pulp. This did not sit well with him. Just because she had done wrong did not mean she deserved such punishment. He ran forward and managed to hook his arm around Watts' through those lightning-fast punches. Luck or skill, whatever allowed him this first chance at getting it, he thanked. He pulled Watts from the woman with a low growl. "This is not appropriate. Get ahold of your self, man." Despite the speed with which Watts railed against him, Wesley held fast.

Evelyn felt what was like an explosion, she wasn't sure what was going on down in the lab right now but it didn't sit well with her as she quickly bolted down the hallway and away from Gardner's office. She ran down the hallway and directly towards the elevator pressing the button as it came up to the floor she was on. Evelyn could hear Watts' voice over the radio, sounding either really annoyed or pissed off she hit the button that would lead her down to the lab. As she made sure her weapons were ready Evelyn stepped out of the elevator and took a few steps into the room.

She watched as Wesley was holding back Watts, and then stared directly at Wanda who was on the floor pretty bloodied right now as well and Bobbie calling out for Andrew's name. As she tried to look around she couldn't see his body anywhere either which wasn't a good sign at all as she walked over towards Scarlet Witch and held her down with her foot so she wouldn't be able to get back up in case she did come to.
