Amanda Woodall isn’t known for being friendly. Raised in a household of high expectations, there is a standard to be upheld, and Amanda has made it her mission to do so. Her confidence sometimes strays into arrogance, her icy and haughty demeanor can be off putting to most, and some may go as far as to describe her as a woman far too frigid for her age. Amanda Isabella Woodall was born in West Palm Beach, Florida: the first child to be welcomed into the Woodall family. She grew up alongside her cousins Irina and Mimi in their opulent homes in Palm Beach's exclusive Crown Heights neighborhood, and the three were raised together like sisters. In their childhood years, the Woodall patriarchs came together to make their dreams of owning their own business a reality. Tres Doncellas Winery & Vineyard was born, hoping to leave its mark in the world of fine wines. Fast-forward to today: Tres Doncellas is a multi million liquor company with worldwide business ties, international praise and even a few awards.

In her school years, Amanda built herself a reputation for being a driven, no-nonsense kind of classmate: the kind you would call an ‘overachiever’. Her parents had raised her with the belief that smarts and academics triumphed over arts and sports, so the blonde focused her attention in cultivating her intelligence. In her years as a King’s Academy, she maintained an unwavering perfect GPA while being active in plenty of intellectual clubs and organizations, notably the National Honor Society, Debate Club (which she presided for 2 years straight) and Senior Class President. The time for friends and parties was sparse, but the sacrifice was worth it in the end. She graduated top of her class, was deemed valedictorian, and was accepted at more than a handful of Ivy League schools.

Upon graduation, Amanda followed her dreams of becoming an ADA all the way to Harvard University. Her time at university not only gave her the tools and knowledge to succeed in her field, but also gifted her with her best friend in the world: Abraham Cross. The aspiring lawyers were immediately drawn to each other from the moment they met in the school’s hallways, and had been inseparable ever since. As self-appointed best friends to each other, one of their duties was to serve as each other's event companions through hell and high water. There were the usual casual affairs they attended as college students: like frat parties, late-night study sessions, bar hopping and the like. Then there were more important occasions, like benefit galas, weddings, dinner parties… It was during one of these family events that Amanda met the man who would eventually become her husband: Benjamin Cross… Abraham’s 40 year-old uncle.

As was expected when a couple had a 17 year age difference, the news of their relationship was met with plenty of outrage and disapproval, especially from Amanda’s family. They saw Benjamin as a broke has-been hoping to steal their daughter’s money, while Amanda was clearly looking to cut corners on her career path (according to the more irrelevant members of the Cross family who didn’t know her). Of course, time has proven both families wrong, as Amanda and Benjamin continued to defy the odds while their relationship blossomed. Benjamin’s parents and siblings had met Amanda, and knew that the young woman’s intentions with the older man were nothing but good. Meanwhile, Benji had faced an uphill battle trying to win the Woodall family over, but most of their worries were when he signed a prenuptial agreement without a second thought. On the first anniversary of the day they met, he surprised her with an engagement ring, and the two married a year later during a stunning ceremony in the blue waters and white sands of Tahiti.

Caden has always been tall and lean, even in his younger years. Conventionally handsome, he carries himself with a certain tilt of his chin and a wistful look in his eye. Over the years he's built up a sort of broadness and tone but it stays nearly hidden behind loose shirts and oversized jackets. 

Often times he dresses in a manner that would suggest an affection for vintage apparel. This manner of dressing is quite new to him as he spent many of his teenage years wearing all black and keeping his head down. His hair is bleached blond and somewhat shaggy, it hangs in his face. It's naturally dark and this can be noted through the shade of his eyebrows. He has mocha brown eyes set beneath dark eyelashes. 

There are not many scars to note on this boy, the most prominent ones can be found on his hands and knees, though if one were looking closely then they would note a thin scar along his forehead.

Somewhat prone to being down in the dumps, Caden isn't always the easiest person to be around. Temperamental when provoked and terribly impatient, he often has to bite his tongue to keep himself out of trouble. A tendency to snap back at those who bother him or upset his balance, he doesn't hold back in his scathing reviews. He can be judgemental with people that he doesn't know and terribly sarcastic. 

Quite friendly however most of the time, he's sweet in his demeanor. He's very empathetic and he likes to offer an ear wherever it's needed. A warm, joking manner is common of him, even if those jokes are pretty sarcastic. He's very brave, not afraid to jump right into things and he will be the first to speak his mind.

Upbringing Synopsis
Caden was never any good with people, though it wasn't for a lack of trying. Many of his highschool years were spent trying to see what personality fit right amongst his peers and eventually, he gave up. He found his home amongst rejects and he was content that way but he couldn't help but wonder what it was like to run in the popular crowds. Intelligent and somewhat introverted, he took to writing poetry and keeping his nose to his notebooks. He wasn't confident enough to stand out so he decided to stay in.

Once he was out of highschool and into college, he actually started to blossom. Studying journalism brought him to all sorts of different people and this mixed crowd of brought out the best in him. He became braver and louder and more willing to speak for himself. He maintained some pieces of his old withdrawn personality but he was a much more confident person and this inevitably lead to his second relationship. This relationship was a ride of ups and downs but it ended in a crash-- literally. A car crash attributed to the substances his girlfriend was on at the time.

They both got out alive but not without a few nasty reminders. His girlfriend was left with a permanent limp and he had suffered damage to his vestibular system which lead to many dizzy spells and balance problems. This accident ultimately spelled the end to their relationship and he was soon out of college. Heartbroken but diligent, he carried on and picked up a job as a traveling journalist. He never stayed in one place very long but there was something distracting about never having to plant his roots anywhere.

"Rei was… well, she was incredible."

When Caden speaks of his first relationship, he often doesn't mention Reina but not for lack of caring about her. Their relationship was good and that was half of the problem, he had thought for a time that he loved her. They were connected in their similarities but their differences were what really brought them together. He admired her courage and a part of him wished he had her ability to naturally shine. 

The concept of a real relationship was still very foreign to him and though he wasn't entirely comfortable with the idea of an open relationship at first, he ultimately decided that he just wanted her to be happy. He respected her choices and didn't try to tie her down. Much of their time after school was spent together, hanging out, and enjoying themselves. He often invited her to his poetry readings or got his concert tickets in duplicates in hopes of bringing her along. 

Things were really good but ultimately came to an end, he left highschool with some very unresolved feelings towards her.

Grayson Chambers
"Gray and I actually did pretty good at keeping in touch and he saves me a fortune by letting me crash on his couch."

Grayson was one of Caden's closest friends in highschool, though they might not have even met if Caden hadn't been so hopelessly bad at math. He had awkwardly sought Grayson out after being warned of his plummeting grades and the two ended up on a deal where Caden would help him with English and literature and Grayson would help him with math. This arrangement would inevitably end up as a proper study group including Alexander. 

Outside of the study group, he often hung around Grayson. He even went as far as helping him write up a poem to impress a girl. He was one of the only people from highschool that Caden managed to keep in touch with and still crashes on the couch of to this day.

Theodore Gage
"I was lucky I met Teddy, he's always been a real one."

Caden met Theodore through the school paper where the two initially bonded over their love of literature and journalism. They were quick friends because it wasn't often Caden got to gush about classic novels or old poets. As time stretched on, they learned they shared many other interests and this encouraged Caden to seek Theodore out more often with concert proposals. By the time he wound up dating Reina, this fortunately gave him even more reason to hang out with Theodore.

Even as highschool ended, Theodore's ability to maintain contact with him was a comfort as he went into college. It was a happy surprise when they both ended up living in New York. He often made time to visit his old friend and even invited him on a few business trips.

"I remember Alex being pretty chill, I have to hope he did well for himself."

Alexander was a part of the study group with Grayson. The three were pretty close and Caden was comfortable talking to Alexander outside of their work. At the time he considered Alexander and Grayson to be his closest friends and he usually tried to spare time to hang out with them.

"I have to sort of thank Carlos, Brent was a really good friend."

Caden knew Carlos first, having bonded with him over a shared love of poetry. This lead him to meeting Brent, who he found was strangely amiable. He was confident but also very kind which made Caden feel secure in talking to him and even befriending him. This fortunately lead to him becoming a part of The King's Men.

Andre Martin
"Another of the King's Men! Dre was honestly cool."

Caden was never personally very close to Andre but he liked him, he got along fairly well with all of the King's Men. While he was never the sporty type, he could sometimes be found at basketball games to cheer on his friend.

He didn't know Sebastian personally, really, but he did know Grayson wasn't a fan of him. He was a King's Man though so Caden was pretty affable with him.

Caden and Willow shared a literature class together where they first crossed paths. While they weren't best friends by any means, they had many friendly conversations and even hung out a few times. Caden enjoyed being around her though he didn't know much about her personally.

The Willow of today is different to the Willow from a year ago, and the Willow most her peers would know from ten years ago. The Willow known by her high school peers was a bright, albeit spoiled girl with the only goal of making people happy. She drifted between groups, maintaining a decent social life while balancing school life and her many hours spent volunteering at all kinds of shelters. She was fun-loving, always up for a craic which oftentimes made her the life of the party. She made plenty of friends at school, however, she knew none of them were truly meaningful. She was aware of some calling her fake, holier than thou and even preachy for telling off her peers for wasting things that could be donated. 

College barely changed Willow, if anything it made her more confident in speaking out for the little guy, as well as encourage her to become hard-working for her to make her dream a reality. Meeting Lucas certainly helped her maintain decent grades allowing her to pick up a job in a sector she was most passionate about.

You could say the Willow today has grown more hopeless. With her marriage dissolved, she's thrown herself back into work, allowing herself no time to truly cope with the loss of her husband. She's lost her sense of fun, the trait that most would describe Willow, leaving a woman focusing entirely on her career to cope with her life falling apart.

The earliest memory Willow has is of her father tucking her into bed and reading her the story of Peter Pan. It was not the only time her father read to her, but it was one of the most memorable due to her love for the character. Growing up, Willow and her family were well-off, living in the gated community of Crown Heights. Her sister, who was four years her senior, was her best friend, sharing everything from clothes to toys with little fuss between them. Her doting parents let the girls do anything they wanted, attending to their every desire and need, expecting little in return.

The girl loved her books. Her room was packed to the brim with endless stories with worn pages stored anywhere there was space. When she was nine, her mother gently encouraged her to give away the books she didn't need anymore. The books she hadn't touched in years. Willow protested, because what if she'd need her animal colouring book in the future? Her mother took her to the shelter anyway, trying to show the girl that although she was privileged, not every child had what she did. Perhaps this did well, or perhaps this mentally scarred the girl into becoming a giving freak - either way, Willow could never forget how happy it made her feel watching the kids enjoy her books.

Much of her life from there on out was the same. The girl worked hard and played harder. She made friends in high school, only to lose touch with most at college. Despite her heartbreak in high school, Willow was able to fall for someone else much in the same way she'd done before. It was at college she met Lucas, a budding physiotherapist dreaming of moving to New York City. At first, the two remained good friends, keeping their relationship strictly platonic whilst Lucas was dealing with his toxic on/off girlfriend at the time. However, remaining platonic was difficult once he managed to cut the toxicity out of his life. The two fell hard and fast for each other, much to the joy of their friends around them. The couple moved to NY and within two years they were engaged. Willow thought her life was perfect up until she walked in on her fiancé making out with his ex-girlfriend at their new apartment two months after their engagement. Willow, hopelessly in love with her fiancé, was quick to forgive and forget the incident to keep up her happy life, content with ignoring the growing discomfort in her tummy.

She compromised a lot. Lucas did not want children, so Willow prepared herself for a life with no children to read to like her father had. He didn't like pets, so she didn't adopt that cute elder dog she heard about from her colleague. He wanted to keep in touch with his junkie ex, and Willow let him. Willow was twenty-five when she got married and living her life blissfully before her dream was once again broken. On the same day she lost her grant from the government, she found her husband wrapped around his ex-girlfriend in their marital bed. She left when she heard Lucas tell her he loves her.

Willow moved out the following day, ignoring the missed calls and the messages on Facebook and threw herself into apartment hunting. She got the divorce papers signed the same week she signed the lease to her new apartment. Now, one year later since the incident, Willow has yet to dive back into the dating scene. She's declined invitations to birthday parties, bachelorette parties and baby showers as her friends around her get their happy endings.

Willow and Grace met after Grace was forced by her father to do something, and what better thing to do than to take up a quick role at the local dog shelter for the summer? Tara, or more affectionately known as Rocky by Willow, is one of the few people Willow is absolutely in awe of. Before they started talking, Willow always thought of Tara as someone that was cool, and getting to know Tara did not disappoint one bit. The two officially met as they were partnered up for PE, the coach thinking that the combination of the athletic goddess and couch potato very amusing. It worked out in the end, with Willow and Tara getting along like a house on flames. Tara inspired Willow to put more effort in her gym class, while Willow treated Tara to typical Willow craic in return (yes, makes everything worth it, doesn't it?). Tara, out of everyone, was the one to find Willow crying in the bathroom during prom, and as Willow pathetically blubbered out her sorrows, she looked up only to find Tara gone. She never intended on Tara to punch Grayson, but a small part of her couldn't help but feel a tiny bit satisfied. Their friendship lasted even after graduation and through college, even scoring Tara an invite to her wedding as part of her personal favourite crew. Unfortunately, it was sometime after her wedding that Tara and Willow lost touch.

Willow doesn't actually remember a time when she and Alexander weren't friends. Throughout high school they were the dynamic duo often the mastermind of the pranks of the week. Anything you can think of, they probably pulled. They also were pulled into the principals office just as often, but thanks to Alex's great grades and Willow's otherwise upstanding contributions, they would often be dismissed with a tired sigh and a detention slip.

So when did that change? It didn't. Willow still often thinks of Alex as her best friend, just like Grace and even Teddy. But she couldn't maintain their friendship once graduation loomed as her fear of getting between the friendship of Grayson and Alex, two of the King's Men grew. Ultimately Willow made the decision for Alex, to keep her head down and focus on her own life, leaving Alex to figure out things on his own. All she hopes is that he and Grayson are still friends.

Willow and Grayson were frequent faces at the detention club, meeting sometime before senior year after she and Alexander pulled a particularly funny prank involving a rubber duck and a phone case. Given that there was no way excitable Willow could spend the hour in silence, it was a given she'd start pestering Grayson for conversation and entertainment when the teacher's back was turned. Soon she was falling for him, realising it only when she noticed she laughed a little harder at his jokes, or was willing to get caught for her part in the pranks if it meant she could hang out with Grayson a little more.

One day, Willow made the mistake of talking about her crush with Grace, as any teenaged girl would while dealing with their melodrama. Willow couldn't understand why Grayson never noticed her in the same way she had seen him, but at the same time she knew only she was to blame. Somehow before senior year prom, (hint, thanks Grace) Grayson surprised Willow when he asked her to prom. Delighted, she accepted without thinking twice, throwing herself at dress shopping and limo planning from excitement. Except, her dream night came crashing down when Willow realised who Grayson truly came for. Heartbroken, Willow tearfully slapped him before hiding herself in the toilets where Tara found her and... the rest is history. Willow graduated from Kings Academy pointedly avoiding Grayson like the plague, going as far to avoid Alex as well in order to get over being so humiliated.

In high school, Alexander was a dreamer.  You knew him as the guy that always thought big. With a boundless ambition like his, he always had his eyes on the next milestone when the current one was in arm’s reach. This drive was backed up by a bright mind. He was the quintessential space geek. People who visited his house knew it best. His room was filled to the brim with model rockets, and planets painted on the walls and ceiling. 

However, besides his passions he always found the time to hang out with  his friends and classmates. If you got in trouble, you knew Alexander had your back with a smile that exuded reliability and confidence. Everyone knew him for having many friends and few enemies. These features helped people cope with his boyish immaturity and (often well-meant) pushiness. Everyone has that story where Alexander convinced them to do something stupid with him – often with the expected disastrous results.

Much of the Alexander people knew ten years ago is still recognisable in Alexander today. He is still very friendly and intelligent, and he has definitely matured. However, most of this is his headstrong self in reckless overdrive. He maintains the façade of normalcy to stay in control of his life. He wants to appear stronger than he truly is, and look in control. He has to be. If he were to break, who else would his daughter have to turn to? All of his fears, stress and fatigue hide deep beneath the surface. And that surface is not allowed to crack. No matter how close to the breaking point he gets.

Upbringing Synopsis
Alexander Tobias Shields was a definite breath of life in the class of 2009. He wasn’t necessarily anyone’s best friend, but he had no issues socialising with pretty much anyone. Furthermore, every funny story had a bit of Alex thrown in there somewhere. And if it didn’t, he was always suspected to be a part of it anyway.  His grades were on the higher end. However, he was absolutely peerless at science and math. It was very clear were his ambitions were. Those were the only subjects he really, extensively studied for. Everyone knew that Alexander held his boyish dream to become an astronaut since age 5.

But the one thing everybody in the school knew him for was his relationship with Everly Weston. The exact story of how Alexander managed to score a date with the undisputed prettiest girl of the class of 2007 is lost to the ages. But ever since that first date, their relationship was rock steady. The two had the incredible chemistry to put fireworks to shame. There was no real secret to it. They just matched. There was never a dull moment with her.  She motivated him to keep doing his best. She was there when he needed that moral support. He could tell her anything. And he did the same for her. 
They shared a few key common interests. You see, besides their common interest in astronomy, they both also ferociously enjoyed martial arts movies. Their favourite pastime  was watching Bruce Lee movies together on the couch. Alexander also developed a special relationship with her three pet turtles. 

When Everly went to MIT to study Astronautic and aeronautic engineering, it came to no one’s surprise that Alexander followed her to do the same (His aspirations did kind of shift over time from flying the rocket to building one). He would’ve gone there even without her, really. Living together in a strange city was definitely that extra push in their backs that would accelerate their relationship to that next level.  And so, by pure accidental happenchance, their daughter Rosie was born shortly after Alexander graduated.

What followed was a grand wedding barely after Rosie’s first birthday. The only thing their parents told them was: “We were wondering what took you so long.”  It was the end to that journey of theirs, the start of something new. Married life together. They were so happy.  Three months later, Everly found herself in a hospital bed, and Rosie’s second birthday had barely passed when she was put in a cask. Cancer is a tragic thing.

And so the little fairy tale ended. And Alexander’s world collapsed in on itself. The fire in him was snuffed out with one fell breath. But life moves on even when you stand still. And Alexander was rudely pulled along at life’s cruel pace. Being responsible for a small life doesn’t really allow someone much space to stand still and mourn, unfortunately. Luckily there were friends and family to come to aid, but that only made the year after a little less turbulent. To say Alexander truly picked himself up from his grief-stricken state would be untrue, but what other choose did he really have?

Combining his busy job and single fatherhood continues to be a task most arduous. Fatherhood doesn’t help getting the bills paid. He may have gotten the job of his dreams, but what good are dreams when you don’t have the time to enjoy them? Alexander certainly doesn’t have the time. All of the time he doesn’t work, he dedicates to taking care of his daughter, the only thing of Everly that is still a part of his life. A girl that will only know her mother from their wedding photos, and a girl who looks more like her mother every day. It’s the love and memories that keep him going through the fatigue and stress. How could he face Everly in the afterlife if he ran away from it all? Even if it was to run to her…

He hated himself for even thinking about it.

Now there is a guy that Alex respects the hell out of.  Alex and Andre were friends ever since their first game on the basketball team.  And in class the two also got along swimmingly, along with the rest of the guys. Out of all of the king’s men, Alexander considers Andre one of his best friends. He regularly watches his games on the telly with Rosie.

Upbringing Synopsis
Andre Raymond Martin was born on October 1st, the first of two children of newlyweds Michelle and Raymond Martin. The small family resided in a two bedroom apartment in Queens for the first six years of Andre's life, and moved to a Brooklyn townhouse when he was seven. Growing up, Dre was very close to each of his family members, his younger sister especially. Andre had always been super protective of Chanel, and always made sure to be there for her whenever she needed him to be. The four rarely fought or had any major arguments, and even though they weren't the most fortunate family in the world, they always had a certain positive outlook on life that helped push them through even the hardest of times. Everything changed for the Martin siblings, however, when they suddenly lost both of their parents in a car accident at the ages of thirteen and fourteen. Dre and his sister immediately went into the care of their father's brother following the death of their parents; they'd been given two days to pack up their lives, say their goodbyes, and travel down to Florida where they would soon move into a gated community with their estranged, wealthy Uncle.

It was basketball and the theatre that got Dre through such a rough period in his life. Although he was constantly smiling and goofing off when around his friends, it wasn't until after Junior year that he could say he was finally happy again. By his Senior year, Andre had grown to become one of King's Academy's star players; and although receiving multiple offers from colleges, the young man decided to commit to Florida A&M University so that he could stay close to his sister. There, he pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree in Theatre; he would have used this as a back-up plan had he not been drafted into the NBA.

Life changed drastically for Dre once he'd graduated college and begun his new career as a point guard for the Brooklyn Nets. He ended up moving back to his hometown, where he rented a condo down the street from his sister's place. And when money started to roll in, he made sure to give back to his community while also indulging in expensive cars, clothing, and even women. And it was only up from there; as the years went on, Andre continued to play ball and invest a good portion of his money in black-owned businesses, his sisters' included. As far as his love life went, Andre never really got into any serious relationships; most of the girls who showed any interest in him turned out to only be in it for his money.

To say that Andre is excited about attending his high school reunion would be an understatement. Unlike a lot of people, Andre actually had the time of his life at King's and couldn't wait to see all of his old friends that he'd fallen out of touch with.

Much like her high school self, Allison is a perfectionist and an absolute hardass. Failure is not an option to her, and she won't take anything less than the absolute best. Since high school, she has only gained confidence and such in herself since then. Someway along the line, she found the confidence she lacked in high school -- and now she's become much more of an alpha dog. Not willing to take anyone's shit and knowing just what exactly she wants.

She can still be the soft and sweet little bean that she was in high school, it's just really, really, really hard to get her to do so due to her being balls-deep in a cutthroat environment for many, many years. She watches out for herself, and herself only.

Upbringing Synopsis
Allison was born to two prolific professional wrestlers, Amanda Bentley, known as Tsunami, and Hana Song, known as Death Adder. Growing up, Allison was quickly immersed in the world of wrestling. Being backstage at shows as a kid, she got to know quite a lot of wrestlers as her parents would take her along to shows. In some cases, she even appeared in some episodes, of course, with the promise that she would not be hurt or involved in anything shady. However, neither Allison or Hana particularly wanted wrestling to be a family business, so they ended up pushing her more toward the academic side of things.

It sort of backfired on the Bentley-Song family, considering she went a little too far on the academic end and started to put pressure on herself. Knowing that the Bentley-Song family wasn't entirely interested in having Allison get into the same business as them, Allison took it upon herself to make sure she did the very best she could. Late nights studying and working her ass off were very, very common, much to the dismay of her parents. However, the work would eventually pay off as she landed herself an admission to Princeton University. There, she got herself a B.S in Chemistry, before transferring to Johns Hopkins University for medical school and her residency in internal medicine, which she is toward the end of.

Since high school, interaction between Camden and Allison had steadily decreased. It wasn't because the girls had grown apart or due to some drama, however. It's mostly Allison's fault, and the reason why is that Allison is a horrifically bad texter. She goes so far as to straight up forgetting to reply and accidentally reading people on read when she means to text them back. Allison thinks about Camden from time to time, but she always forgets to text her or check up on her.

Upbringing Synopsis
Tessa was born in Palm Beach Florida on July nineteenth. After twenty-six hours of labor, the Mendoza-Rosales family would receive their precious, dark eyed bundle of joy. 

Growing up in a family full of boys and being the only girl was actually something that Tessa found - and still finds - fun. While she always had to worry about the lid on the toilet seat being down, she did learn quite a few things from her brothers and her father. Said things include how to throw a punch, work on cars and shoot tequila. She learned dancing and fashion from her mother. Tessa's very early school years were basic. She went to school, learned things, came home, did her homework and played outside until it was time for dinner. She began taking piano lessons at six, and ultimately ended them at the age of eleven.

Middle school was where she found her love for sports. She joined the soccer team, but eventually traded it out for softball and basketball in high school. 

Highschool was the golden years. She was finished with the most awkward stages of puberty. She was hot. Her oldest was the quarterback of the football team her freshman year. The rest of her brothers were also in sports, and were known for throwing outrages parties whenever their parents were out of town. Tessa had the perfect gateway into the life of the popular kids, and she gladly took it. Though she got black out drunk on the weekends, she always made sure to keep her grades up. Getting into med school had been her dream since she was five, and she wasn’t going to let anything stop her from getting to that dream. 

She graduated high school as third in her class. It wasn’t first place, but she could live with it. Tessa attended UCLA for her Bachelors degree in biology. From there she transferred to Yale, where she received her medical degree. The woman currently works at Kingston Memorial Hospital in Orlando Florida as a first year neurosurgical resident.

What happens when one attention whore meets the other? They clash, of course - and that’s exactly what happened with Tessa and Amanda. The two girls always strived to be their best, and whenever they happened to get the same grade on a test, it always seemed like Tessa got more attention for it due to her party girl attitude. There were always rumors flying that Amanda thought Tessa was trashy. Tessa shrugged them off, but of course it did bother her to some extent. If Amanda thought she was trashy, how many others did? Prom came around, and naturally someone spiked the punch. An argument ensued between the two young women and before you knew it they found themselves in the middle of a hatefuck that even made the gods jealous. Apparently all of the hatred was actually just sexual tension. The two of them have actually been quite close ever since. 

Brent Santiago-Walsh  
"Brent was always such a cool kid. Heart of gold, and always managed to light up whatever room he was in. I’m so glad we’ve stayed in touch."
Tessa was always into the fitness thing. She started her morning with smoothies, and was always hitting the gym in high school. When Jace introduced her to Brent, she was more than happy to help Brent on his path to being more healthy. The more time they spent with each other, the more Tessa found herself liking the guy as a bit more than a friend. They eventually dated for like a month. The break up wasn’t messy - they just decided to explore other possibilities. Over the years the two of them stayed in touch. When Tessa came to visit her family in Palms, they pretty much always linked up to work out, catch up, and allow Tess to say hi to the dogs. 

Reina Barracano 
"Rei was always one of the ones that I didn't mind looking out for. Maybe it was our whore-ish ways that gave us the initial connection, but Rei's always been one of my girls."
Tessa was always a loose cannon - and Reina even more so. They met early in high school, and something just instantly clicked. It seemed that if Tessa was around Rei wasn't far behind, and vice versa. Tessa was always one of the ones who looked out for Rei. When the girl had her lows, or tried something self destructive, Tessa always tried to talk her out of it. Sometimes it worked, sometimes it didn't. What mattered was that Tessa felt like she gave Reina some sort of hope. After high school, the two of them stayed in touch the best they could . Life moved fast, but Reina was one of the very few that Tessa stayed in touch with. Facetime calls every Friday night were a regular thing for the  pair.

"My sister from another mister. Ying to my yang, and all that other mushy shit. I'll always be grateful for out late night talks and alcoholic rage fueled study sessions. I'll never forget that one time that we got so drunk and pissed off at college, that I literally threw my math book into the fire place. We laughed about it for hours. One of my oldest and greatest friends, you better believe I made her drag her ass down here."

"Maybe it was because I had more respect for him than most - but Dre was always someone that I never really had any desire to hook up with. Don't get me wrong the man was and is absolutely gorgeous, but I guess we just always clicked better as friends. There was always this sort of friendly competition going on between us when it came to basketball, and our one-on-one games were always the best. Kinda sucks him and Grace didn't work out. I really thought those two kids were a forever thing. But hey, there's always the chance the reunion will spark something up for them, right?"

Upbringing Synopsis
Born in New York, Jace’s mother immigrated to the United States when she found out that she was pregnant. Being a teen mother wasn’t easy, and her parents would have been furious that she was pregnant so young with a child whose father she didn’t know. The young woman ultimately decided to give her baby up for adoption, and nothing is known about her today other than the fact she gave birth to Jace. 

When Jace was three years old, he was adopted by the Moretti family. Andrew and his wife - Camilla - couldn’t have children of their own, but raised Jace as if he was their own flesh and blood. They lived in North Carolina. Jace had a relatively normal childhood. His mother taught him how to cook, his father taught him about cars, sports and the like. Elementary school was pretty uneventful. He started learning how to play the acoustic guitar at the age of eight. When he turned eleven, his parents decided to adopt another child. The little girl was nine at the time, and her name was Alice. She and Jace liked each other from the moment they met, and he was more than happy to have someone watch TV with him on Saturday mornings. 

Junior high was also a pretty standard time for Jace. He played baseball, but eventually ended up liking football more. The summer leading to his freshman year, the family moved to Palm Beach. Jace and Alice were ecstatic, and the boy couldn’t wait to go to start highschool. He tried out for the football team and earned himself the position of running back. Jace was a mediocre student. He made mostly B’s and C’s, with History and Math being his best subjects. He attended his fair share of parties, and dated his fair share of girls. High School was a time that he looks back on fondly.  

Jace left highschool and went straight into college. Here is where he met the love of his life. Christina - or Chris, as she liked to be called - was a nature loving, wine drinking, drop dead gorgeous specimen of a woman. They married straight out of college at the age of twenty-three. Shortly thereafter they found out that they were pregnant with a little boy. They bought a house on West side street. Jace was hired on at Kings Academy. Life was great. 

At the age of twenty-six, Jace received the news that his wife and his son was killed in a car accident. It happened during the summer, which gave him some time to cope before having to go back to work, but the beginning of the school year was still difficult for him. He found himself drinking more than ever, and still finds himself reaching for a bottle of Scotch more often than not. Jace sold the house and moved to South Beach Boulevard, where he still lives today.

Jace and Amanda were never really friends, though they did get paired up on quite a handful of projects from the beginning of junior year all the way up to graduation. Jace didn’t mind getting paired with Amanda. He needed better grades, and well, she was smart. However Amanda had this thing where she always wanted things done her way. Jace wouldn’t stand for just being told what to do, and stood up to her on multiple occasions. What came after the fact would surprise just about anyone. For the last two years of highschool, Jace and Amanda dated - all because Jace had the audacity to stand up to her. The man still remembers those as some of the best years of his life. Sure, he moved on and had a family. Amanda did too. Looking back on the memories all these years - and especially after agreeing to come to the reunion - has really lead Jace to believe that he may still have feelings for Amanda.

One of the most important things for Grace is to be right, no matter the subject or if it’s in an argument. She would rather be quiet for the rest of her life than to be proven wrong. This probably stems from being surrounded by so many siblings fighting for attention and being the best in their parents eyes. With this Grace can come across as somewhat arrogant and bossy because she will not stop until she has proven her point.

That being said Grace is a very loving and caring friend and she sticks by the people she loves. As long as it doesn’t affect her work and her goals she would drop the things she was doing to come to the aid of her friends and family. 

Grace is not a person you would say is shy or laid back, she always speaks her mind be it in at her job or at social events. If you can get through all the bossiness and the sarcasm Grace will be a very loyal friend, you will have to have done something really wrong to make Grace’s friendship falter. Brief History
Bailey Grace Pruett was born in Chicago on a crisp autumn day in 1991 to councilman Aaron Pruett and his wife journalist Jean Pruett. Grace was the couples third child and to Jean Pruett's great joy a girl. But as Grace grew up with her brothers Jean realized that her daughter was not going to be the princess that she had imagined. She found herself trying to keep dirt of the designer dresses she had bought for little Grace, so eventually she gave up and just let her do whatever she wanted. And what Grace wanted was to run around with her brothers in the mud and wrestling on the ground. 

Being a diplomats child has had an impact on Grace, her family moving around as much as they did for her father’s work made it hard for the children to make lasting friends, For that reason the Pruett children are all very close. But when their fifth child was born, Mr. and Mrs. Pruett decided it was time to settle down in one area.The Pruett’s packed up their lives and moved to Florida. Mr. Pruett took a job at the mayor's office and Mrs. Pruett started her own indie fashion magazine that has since grown a considerable fan base.

Even though her mother and father has high standards and expect the best from their children the Pruett's always had an relaxed home life. Seeing as both parents have very demanding jobs they sadly did not have very much free time over to spend with their children. This meant that the Pruett siblings practically raised themselves together with their awesome housekeeper Cecily. This being said there was never any hard feelings towards their parents, they understood that the hard work that was being put in was so they could have the best in life. And growing up in a gated community in the sunshine state suited Grace just fine.

Being the middle child wedged between two pairs of brothers, Grace grew up not caring about how she presented herself since she just wanted to fit in with her brothers. This made her into somewhat of a tomboy, she kept her hair short so it wouldn’t get in the way of the wrestling. But as Grace grew up she started to flip through her mother’s fashion magazines more and more and she started to look up to all the beautiful ladies that graced the pages of the magazines. 

School was never a problem for Grace, she didn’t feel the need to be the best in her class just in the top percentage. She had her set group of friends that she was real close with. Grace had some trouble branching out and being social out of that group since her bossy personality often rubbed people the wrong way. So some nights she would lock herself in her room and stay in front of her computer designing her blog, programming simple scripts and playing games until her eyes stung.  

She headed up north to pursue her passion for computers and communication. Now she works in an office full of dudes that doubt her ability to do the same job they have. But growing up with four brothers had prepared her for that so she demands respect at the office and will dox anyone who dares to see her as lesser.  
 
Grace jumped at the opportunity to go to this reunion since she has some unfinished business with a few of her old school friends, especially now that she’s single.

As a teen, his main language was dry sarcasm, to the point where it came across as offensive. He left a bad taste in people's mouths with his apathy and lack of filter, that is until some of them stormed through his barricade to find out he simply built a defense mechanism due to a childhood filled with abuse. Sometimes and presently, that smartass nature of his slips out. Something that has carried on throughout the years is his cheesy-ass grin, which is either genuine or something he does right after bruising someone's ego. Old habits die hard. 

Young Gray didn't mind using people to gain an advantage over, for selfish reasons, or because he wanted to. For example, he didn't want to go to prom alone and be a lame wallflower. He knew Miss Class President would be there, his crush since opening ceremony at King's Academy, so he asked dear Willow Nicholson out, just so he could have Amanda's looks that night engraved in his mind. He can still remember exactly what she wore (shows how impressive his memory is!). Earth tones within her make up that turn eggplant, blurry eyeliner with a 'cat eye', and touches of golden shadow on her lower eyelid. Pure shine, with reddish tones. Simply bringing out her beauty. Nothing more, nothing less. She wore a gorgeous, expensive green satin gown, that had a tie (large loop that crosses her chest), a asymmetry design, and a long train. To complete the assemble she had golden accessories: strap sandals, a bracelet, and star earrings. An absolute muse. Untouchable. 

The night didn't end well for him, but he did fall asleep with a smile on. 

In addition to those asshole traits, he use to have a major problem with authority and would deliberately act out (think walk out of class, play hooky when really he was sleeping on the bleachers, and be a frequent detention goer because he didn't do his homework), which was completely weird for a kid that was a 'dweeb' and a 'nerd'. Like, he was part of the CHESS CLUB because his mother begged him to join at least ONE club. Words like 'fag', 'twink', and 'bitch boy' were trigger words for him and he took it extremely personal, especially since he already had shit confidence thanks to his dad and even his mom occasionally, since he felt like he was her disappointment, 'wasting his potential'. Those that did get to know him, like really know him, knew this about him: he liked to jest and laugh off his problems, he was a slacker, and he cared more than he pretended not to.

As he grew up, he matured in more ways than one. When he's properly motivated, there's nothing, ABSOLUTELY NOTHING, that can stop him from achieving his goal. He's far more approachable and charming than he was as a teen. He can walk the walk and talk the talk, AND he has gained an incredible amount of empathy for people. A humanitarian. Weird. After his mother passed, right out of high school, his priorities changed and he cleaned up his act. His best friend, Jason Graves, who went to police academy with him, and his sister, Kerrirose, who waited to graduate high school to follow her brother wherever he went, helped hold him accountable and suddenly failure in life was not an option for him.

He still rarely sugarcoats his words, unless he's intentionally lying, which he may still for personal reasons. He has a need for organization and cleanliness, and usually knows when something is out of place. He can point out the smallest details, that not many people would notice, but he's learned to hold his tongue and not bring up things only he may care about. He's approachable. Bearable. Sociable. Kind. An odd sight for those who haven't kept tabs on him and his life. 

Looking deeper into his personality, for those that kept in touch, they know he goes through severe mood swings when he isn't intellectually stimulated (and also due to PTSD). With an addictive personality, he is prone to substance abuse. His current poisons are whiskey, caffeine, and cigarettes. But, he has dabbled in coke in college. Also, he absolutely hates being bored and won't hesitate to walk away without saying goodbye, just so he can do something else or brood. Overall, Gray may still have demons he's battling, but he is a bit more pleasant to be around with and has gotten over his more deep-seated issue (revolving around his father).

Upbringing Synopsis
See, Blake and Katherine Chambers made enough money for their children and their guilty pleasures, such as gambling for the patriarch of the household and a full stock of alcohol for mother dearest. Blake Chambers had plenty of damage he took out on his family. It may be because his father, Malcolm, the number one Chambers in the family, had a goldmine of money he wasn't willing to give to his children, especially his eldest, or it could be because he too was a disappointment. Nothing he ever did was enough. So, sure, he brought home a salary around $127,000 since he was part of the top ten percentile of curators in America, but he also wasn't guaranteed to show all of it because he needed to spend it on himself. While his father was infatuated with the past, hence his job, Katherine couldn't handle her present, with her unfaithful and temperamental husband, so she escaped to a spa to be part of a serene environment and massage other individuals' stresses away. 

While Kerrirose acted her part, pretending to be a good girl, helping the gardener from time to time, which only Grayson noticed the flirting his sister did with the older man, no one else did, Grayson was dealing with all this information he was taking in, trying to go through the chaos and find the most important information. His grandfather would frequently visit and give them wise, yet stern words, which showed Malcolm cared about Gray and Kerri more than he did his son. Hell, he even gave them gifts and allowances, which only made Blake angry. And when their father was angry, it was never a good thing for any of them. Gray wore hoodies to hide the bruises, at least his father had the sense to not hit his face, and day in and day out, he'd go against his parents' wishes. Although, he didn't mean to hurt his mother's heart from rebelling. One day, he came home to a bloody mess. Parents were bleeding out, on the kitchen floor, and Kerri was missing. This was shortly after graduation from King's Academy. The rest of that year would be the only time he doesn't remember well. All he knows is his grandfather took care of it, giving him and his sister the exact words to say in court, and before they knew it, the gardener and nanny were arrested for the murder of their parents. 

A constant throughout all this was Gray's best friend, Jason Graves, who also attended King's Academy, and was remembered as the nice, stable comic book geek, who was somehow liked by everyone. After the incident, he was seventeen at the time, Grayson was given direction by Jason simply saying: "Dude, you should become a cop with me! We can so kick some villain asses." The show must go on (the criminal case was happening at the same time). Grayson didn't know what else he'd do, even if his skill set was obviously anything revolving around computers, he shrugged and said why not. In police academy, Jason found Elizabeth Stiller, "Look what the cat dragged in...", and knocked her up at the age of 18 (literally only a couple months after they met). They had a shotgun wedding, and while Jason continued to pursue being a cop, Elizabeth stopped her plans to mother their child. She was one year older than Jason, two years older than Gray. They both decided they'd make Gray their daughter's godfather. Honestly? Gray doesn't know what that entails. 

Years past, Gray and Jay graduated Florida State University, while gaining experience as patrol officers, and both decided the best place to move to was the crime-filled city of Chicago, Illinois. So, they all took a leap of faith. During this move, Kerrirose tagged along because that's what she did, followed her brother, everywhere. The best friends lived right next to each other, in the same apartment complex that Gray still lives in to this day, and even if life made them too busy for each other, they did find time. While Gray quickly got promoted to detective, Jason decided to stay a patrol officer so he had more availability for his wife and child.

Things took a wild and tragic turn when the Graves got in a freak car accident and somehow, little Millie, their baby, survived. This happened a year ago. Grayson's life will never be the same. There was no way in hell he'd let anyone take Millie away from him. Shortly after, Grandfather Malcolm made an offer for them to move back, so he can help Gray take care of his sister and child, but for now Gray is simply going with the motions. 

Oh look, a reunion invite. "You should go!" His sister insisted.  

"Come home with stories to tell!" Millie added with a sweet grin. Staring into the eyes of his new world, Grayson couldn't help but wonder what was Emiliana thinking about behind that smile. She was only nine, after all, when she lost everything.

Grayson never was good at approaching her. Any girl for that matter, but Amanda? She was never bothered. Never harassed. If she ever was, she made sure whoever offended was put in their place. They sometimes exchanged words and glances, when he had to pass papers to the desk behind him or when she gave speeches at assemblies. Every day he would find something more alluring about her. First, it was completely physical. The body. The hair. Her neck. Her face. Her eyes. Those lips. Then it grew into something more. He noticed little things about her like how she wore her hair each day, how well coordinated her outfits were, and how critical her stare was. A gaze that caused others to cower or look away. It's too bad he never did tell her how he felt. A wasted opportunity that he has learned to accept as his biggest mistake.

While Grayson built his own kind of friendships with the King's Men, Brent did his thing and secured the band of brothers. The Boys are the people, rain or shine, that would never hate him (sorta). This is excluding someone that he absolutely despises. Outside of that one person? The rest were (are) boss men. Although he and Jason met Brent first, in middle school, Gray got incredibly close with Caden faster than he did the leader of the pack and it was thanks to a study group that he got pulled in, that also included Alex. Not saying Grayson didn't consider Brent a best friend, he did. What's there to dislike? But the way he and Caden connected was different and while Brent tried to mask problems with his friendliness and being as loyal as can be (he was foolhardy like that), Caden was the one that could give Gray a disapproving look which slapped sense into him. They still visit him in Chicago to this day. Caden more so than Brent, but Brent isn't the type to not stay in touch. He's never stopped being a good ass friend, even with the beef Gray has with others. So, of course, out of all the King's Men, Gray can confidently say he loves the both of them, and that's saying a lot for a man who doesn't love easily. Those two he'd jump in front of a bullet for. 

Now, his friendship with Alex started because of detention and there the two of them, with Willow, had a playful kind of friendship that grew into admiration and a kindred understanding. To the point that Alex felt inclined to play matchmaker and pair his two friends together. What a mistake. It was like he was doing Gray a favor when he didn't even ask for one. Okay, she was cute. Maybe the favor would be worth it. Ha, yeah right. Things changed between the three of them that one fateful night. They had something good, but that died fast. He doesn't dislike Alex. How could he when the one at fault was Gray himself? If anything, he's grateful he invited him to his wedding (even if it was a courtesy thing) and still talks to him whenever they do cross paths. That being said, Grayson isn't a fool and can definitely tell they can never be the same with one another because of prom night.  

Last but not least, Dre. One of the more simple relationships Gray has with the boys. Simple is good. Though Dre was definitely more close to Brent , Gray could respect the dude and if it wasn't for Dre, Gray probably would've flunked PE completely. Hell, if it wasn't for Dre's pointers when it came to health and wellness, Gray may have not even had what it takes to survive police academy. Dre is a true bro and it's nice watching him on TV as a point guard for the Brooklyn Nets. They may have lost touch, but Gray can at least follow his success as a NBA player.

Two incidents that caused a handful of girls to dislike him severely. TWO. He spent a couple years not getting in this kind of drama, but nah, his bad luck caught up with him eventually. Originally, he'd say he was on okay terms with all six of these ladies. Better terms with Grace and Allison because they kind of just had similar interests with him and he could keep a conversation going without making a complete fool of himself. That is until he noticed Allison's Adderall addiction and wanted to intervene. He had a mother who abused alcohol, so seeing a friend of his have her own addictive poison got him hot. Thinking he was doing the right thing, he tried to tell her that shit would kill her. Those weren't the exact words he said, but he tried! Well, it didn't end as he predicted and before he knew it, Camden came at him the day after, like she understood the situation. He rarely ever interacted with her until this day. Did she not care about her friend?! And to make things worse, he made her cry too, which only meant another girl would barge in soon after. The same day a girl that doesn't even have beef with people, whose one of the more sociable people at this school, like his boy Brent, and who had a thing with his other boy, Caden, brought out her claws. How could he make Reina, out of all people, upset?! She gave him chose words. It made him uncomfortable because there was intense menace in her eyes. And from that day on, those three - Allison, Camden, & Reina - barely associated themselves with him. Reina was mature and said hi whenever she was all over Caden though. Internally though? Gray knew she was watching him like a hawk. 

Not cool. 

To continue down the path of terrible luck with the female populace in his class, another incident happened. An incident that put him on three more girls' kill lists. Okay, here's what went down. Like the lonely boy he was, Gray decides maybe taking the sweet, pure Willow to prom would get him over a goddess. Down the grapevine, he found out she thought he was cute. She seemed the easiest to convince to be his date. And, he was right. She said yes and he was ready to treat her right. Go the nine yards. They'd match with colors, he'd get her a bouquet, a corsage, chocolate, a charm bracelet with cute animals on it, and compliments to show how much he appreciated the fact that she said yes to a loser like him. Sure, he was a bit excessive but she was his first official date for anything. He wasn't a virgin, but he never dated the girl he lost his virginity to. This was a big step up for him and all he wanted to do was forget for one night about—  

Yeah, right. 

Habitually, like he does during a regular school day, he kept staring at Amanda. He could remember slow dancing with Willow and how lovely Amanda looked, even if she was in the arms of No Name. This started a series of unfortunate events. Willow was glaring at him with watery eyes. Slap! She ran off and then the next thing he knew Jason side-stepped, getting closer to the King's Men, all who were distracted, to avoid something. Oh. Tara, who like Camden he didn't talk to much, was charging at him like a raging bull. If that wasn't enough punishment, that coming Monday, Grace displayed absolute disgust and broke any further friendship they could've had.

Is there much he needs to say about Jace? Sure, there was a time they were cool. Barely. But because of Brent, Grayson could be mature, but then as if life had forsaken him, he kept walking in at the worst times. When Jace's tongue was deep in Amanda's throat and his hand was fondling her perfectly shaped breast. Is it wrong for him to hate someone as much as he does Jace? Absolutely not. Gray has every right to his feelings and that piece-of-shit had the audacity to approach him while he was switching his books out for his next class. 

"Hey man, don't wanna cause any trouble, but... what's your deal?" 

What the fuck you mean? Isn't it obvious? YOU are my DEAL. 

"...deal? Uh, nothing much. Bout' to go to history. What's yours?"

Okay, maybe Gray needs to get over these feelings his younger self was harboring. Maybe, for Brent, he can try to rekindle whatever friendship they had, if they even had anything. Everything he felt and saw was all in the past. There's no way when he sees Jace's face he'd want to punch it, right? He's over it. He's calm. He's collected. He can handle seeing NO NAME Jace again.

Ah Tessa. She has a special place in Grayson's heart because she was his first time. It was freshman year and he realized before he could even attempt chasing her best friend, he needed experience. Something drew him to her, and this is before she gained such a thot reputation. Whether this is something to be proud about or not, he was one of her first v-card swipes that led her to have such an infamous rep at King's Academy. After a couple of fucks, she went to her next prey. When she got involved with Brent, they were able to talk more than they ever did before. But, like most of Gray's friendships at this school, they lost contact. He wouldn't say Tessa is his type, personality-wise, but she sure as hell has a hot body and if she still looks like she did ten years ago, he can see them fucking again. If there was one thing she taught him, it was you didn't need to love someone to have good sex.

Teddy is the best friend to his best friend, which means if he didn't make an attempt to get to know the kid, what kind of friend would he be to Caden? His attempt to get to know the token gay boy in his class was half-assed up until a defining moment in his past. A moment that defined their respect for one another, which was when Teddy walked in the boy's locker room at the most opportune time: when Gray was getting called a 'fag' and being shoved in a locker. It was this instance they both discovered they had the same bully and Teddy saw a side to Gray that no one else really did. The wounded animal, who was battling a lot of personal turmoil. All because Gray wasn't wearing his mask. 

Aside from Theodore foolishly trying to jump in, Grayson took note at how bubbly, driven, and positive his peer was. They got close enough where Teddy was indeed in Gray's radar, but not too close where Gray would feel inclined to love and protect him. Two best friends (Brent & Caden) and one goddess (Amanda) was enough for him. Fortunately, Teddy would be one of the few people he'd be relieved to see at this reunion. Someone too lovable for words that may be the cause of Gray's sexual curiosities.

Nine years has passed since Reina Stein Barracano took the international film scene by storm with her horror feature, The Damned (2010), in which she co-wrote and co-directed with Clementine Barr, a peer of hers from her days at King's Academy. More importantly, a film she shot and edited. At the time, she was simply Reina Stein. Now, she carries both her maiden and married surnames like a banner. The critics noticed her talents specifically lie in her cinematography, since her visual storytelling was and still is absolutely captivating, awe-inspiring, and truly her own. She and Barr won three awards at the Florida Film Festival in Maitland, Florida.  

Known before that, she participated in theater at Palm Beach Dramaworks. Barracano quickly had many people talking about her cinematographic debut, that was shown at Cannes later that year. As young as she was, The Damned was not a fluke for Barracano and since then, she's worked on five more independent films — Mommy Dearest (2012), Mirror Mirror (2013), Drifting Off (2015), Broken Together (2016), and Eternal Snow (2019)  — building on the strengths from her debut. Few are capable of making disturbing subject matter so visually appealing,  painting a picture that evokes both discomfort and awe all at same time. 

Barracano is a master planner when it comes to the choreography of her camera, which becomes a weightless force of nature and something no one besides those she trusts can touch. She can display her eclectic style and taste, while never faltering from true naturalism. No matter how experimental she may get, she will always look for the best way to portray the themes the director wants, may it be salvation found in a dehumanized Dystopia or a prison hell in a suburban home. She has been hired to DP {WORKING TITLE} Promise Me (2021) for Blumhouse Productions and this will be her first Studio Picture.

Upbringing Synopsis
Reina Stein Barracano, cinematographer, editor, actress, one-time director, one-time writer, and costume designer, made a meteoric rise from child theatre actor to filmmaking wunderkind, receiving international acclaim by age nineteen for her debut feature, The Damned. Her next five films all done by the time she turned twenty-eight. Each film won numerous awards and further established her as one of the most promising and prolific young filmmakers in the international scene. Aside from her ambitions in the moving picture industry, the furthest education she has received is her high school diploma. While she attended high school, she labored over her craft and planned The Damned with Clementine Barr. When they were seventeen, Barracano and Barr wrote a script together, planned on making it big, and invested $150,000 of their college savings into the production. Only for them to fall short financially halfway through filming and having to resort to getting money from other means. The film was completed, as you all know! This happened during their senior year, where they juggled filming and school, because they were young and wanted fame.

Now the question we want to know: what was Reina's life outside of her career? For most of her childhood it was Clayton and her versus the world. Her older brother spent (and still spends) most of his life cleaning her messes and protecting her livelihood. Everything he does is for her, and she is well aware of that.  Both Clayton and Reina had to learn how to fend for themselves, at a young age. Not because they lacked the financial support, but because of their dysfunctional family. Their father, Dr. Luther Stein, behind closed doors, was a downright mad man and a severe control freak. He was a mediocre surgeon, at best, and illegally sold organs. Yes, he's behind bars now. Their mother, Mallory Stein, wrote plays and wanted to create her daughter in her image, as if she was God Himself. Their mother blamed her only son for being stuck in a barren marriage and she told Reina, constantly, that she was a mistake, just so Reina would do as she said because 'mother knows best'. It was those words that gave Reina severe depression, resorting into unhealthy behavior, where she would throw herself into dangerous situations. 

She was forced in high school to go to therapy and that made her search for other outlets to deal with her negative mindset, like sex and partying. Reina never seemed to be fighting demons. She never seemed depressed. If anything, she was so confidant that people wished they could be like her. No one ever knew what laid behind her smile. People rarely ask. Her brother, three years older than her, was a handsome, popular jock on the Football team that wanted to do something in social work or criminal justice so he could protect kids, like him and his sister, that were stuck in terrible situations. He had the nickname of the 'big bad wolf' because he was a lady killer back in the day and like a wolf, he preyed on freshman girls because it made him feel good. So, he wasn't perfect either. Protective. Proud. But not perfect. Actually, her brother has a hulking exterior and has shown fits of anger in the past, which only validated his nickname. Because of his rep, she was considered a 'she-wolf' and people naturally assumed she would follow her brother's footsteps in getting the most lays, which wasn't too far from the truth. They just went about it differently and for different reasons.

Anyways, her brother graduated and started pursuing his mission of being a savior to the broken, the beaten, and the damned, and that is when Rei hustled to find her exit out of her parents' house. After The Damned gave her some kind of rep, she packed her bags, without telling anyone, and moved to LA, living in her car, while continuing on making films. During this time, Clementine Barr got with her brother, who became a child psychologist in the Palm Beach area. She stopped pursuing film entirely (this still baffles Rei to this day that Clem chose love over success). You know what Clem does now? She's a yoga instructor and a full-time slut for her wolfie. Weird. And. Ew. 

Back to Rei though, within the same year, she met Elijah Barracano, whose a striving, young actor, and he brought her into his bachelor pad, obviously a boy that had money. They eloped. Her brother was one of the witnesses and she could tell he was concerned. That being said, he knew there was no way he could change her mind. Plus, he got with HER friend. He had no right to talk! After that, Rei's life only got better and she lived in the moment, never stopping on making movie magic, but also just checking things off her bucket list. One thing at a time. 

Elijah helped her overcome her depression and for the most part, they were happy. Neither held the other down, and both focused on themselves, while coming home for the occasional loving. Lately, however, with Reina getting the sudden studio offer, Elijah is starting to show he feels emasculated. He sees Rei as more successful, even if he had the upper-hand because he was on good terms with his parents and had that cash-money flow. He didn't want to blame her for his feelings, he didn't want them to fight, so they both have sat down a few times to discuss their relationship. The way she lives makes him feel she'd never be completely and utterly his, which part of their original agreement was to keep things open. Being married provided better benefits and was his selling point to get her to agree on marrying him. Yet, Elijah knew that Reina fell in love with multiple people and wanted to transcend the norm. She was not someone he could keep a leash on. He wasn't her ultimate soulmate. 

With divine timing, Reina has been invited to a class reunion. Thankfully, this will allow her and her husband the space they need to come to an ultimate decision. Maybe, after this reunion, she'll say hi to her brother.

Reina isn't the type to commit, at least that's what she keeps telling herself. Caden was too good to be true and she felt undeserving of anything he had to offer her. Her life growing up, before she moved to LA, was nothing but shattered glass and she would only end up cutting him if he got too close. In high school, he was the one guy that looked past her body. He wanted to spend time with her and sure, he wanted to get to know her, which she did share her interests, dreams, and beliefs with him, but that's as far as she'd go. There was one topic she would never have the courage to talk about. Especially with him. When the conversation started heading toward her family, she'd suddenly change the subject or focus on her brother. Nothing more and nothing less. It was easier to make it seem like she had a good home life, if Clayton was the main focus. 

Caden seemed... okay with it. Okay with not knowing. She didn't understand why he was so understanding with how things were. She knew he didn't like her sleeping with other people. He accepted it, because that's what she wanted, but he didn't like it. Why did he let her? Did he think he was doing her a favor by letting her do what she wanted even if it compromised his own feelings? Why? It didn't make sense to her. She couldn't possibly have made him happy if she slept with another person hours after they went on a date.

Vulnerability is what she felt when she was with him. A feeling she knew all too well but heightened. Because of that constant feeling, she needed to pull away. He was fire to her and his light made her recognize that even if she loved him, she knew she'd ruin it as long as she was the way she was, risking her well being just to feel pain on the outside and in. Unable to make room for him in her heart, there was too much hate taking up residency, she ran away. Obviously, working on movies wasn't the only reason she left FL. When she got to LA, conveniently, Elijah Barracano came into the picture and gave her enough kindness to make her feel good about herself and enough self-indulgence so that she didn't fall too deep. This gave her a balance where she could keep focusing on achieving her goals, with no distraction but her own, while still having somebody when she needs him (without the risk of being too attached). They would both use each other until they had enough. A love she understood. Truthfully though, she's surprised they even married, but at the time, a change seemed right and he offered to take the risk with her.

Tessa saw behind the facade. While they both enjoyed getting lost in pleasure, Reina wasn't always in the right of mind. When Rei was self destructive, in ways that could've made her hate herself more than she already did or worse, in a way that could get her killed, Tessa tried to prevent it, or at least not let it get too far. They looked out for each other, but it was obvious that Reina needed Tessa more. Sometimes, relationships are like that. More for one person. There's one thing Reina never necessarily told Tessa and she'd like to keep it that way, but the attention that Tessa got freshman year was the reason why she chose to go down a similar promiscuous path. It was like Reina vicariously wanted to be like her, but her own version. A fishnet-wearing punk slut. At first, she had sex because it was entirely because that was a topic that everyone would talk about, everyone was doing it or at least they pretended to, and when people lusted, they showed something instinctual. Everyone would let their animal come out and play. It was that feeling she wanted to reach. She wanted to feel something worth feeling. The temporary high became addictive and even just watching her partner react to what she did. Maybe it was the one time she felt like she had control and that's why she needed it. And she knew no matter how scandalous her stories were, she'd be able to talk about that side, and all facets of herself for that matter, to Tessa. Tessa accepted her. Every fucky part and every soft part. She loved her and Reina convinced herself that Tess would be the only one that would understand her, wholeheartedly.

While her relationship with Tessa felt more one-sided than not, Reina and Teddy were completely mutual. They clicked. She knew when she caught sight of him in the crowd that she had to charm him so that they could be friends. He was the medicine she lacked in her life. Someone who loved you, with no prejudice and judgement. The sweetest guy you can ever meet. A man that saw good in everyone, putting their needs before his own. All the time. Kind of in a selfishly selfless manner. They met freshman year and like the whirlwind that she was, she took him under her wing. Plus, she didn't want some shallow girl to stake her claim and use him as a g.b.f. because it was trendy and only added to a woman's hotness. She would protect her little bean at all cost. They both benefited because while he had a way of making her forget about everything (but Caden), she showed him how to live in the moment and just be true to himself. Thanks to him though, she occasionally gets an update about her ex and how he's doing. She knows the game he's playing and even if she won't admit it, she's glad to know Caden is alive and well.

Camden got lucky as one of Reina's friends. If Elijah doesn't want to attend a premiere or go to a festival with his wife, Camden is the next person she reaches out to. Primarily because she is conveniently in the same vicinity. Their relationship consists of them bouncing ideas off one another, partying like they're still in their early twenties, and Rei encouraging Cam to do what makes her happy. Success and happiness can only be achieved when you're content with yourself. For Rei, even with her career achievements, she still feels like something is missing. Every journey is different and although Reina seems to have everything going for her, she can't help but think Cammie is happier. 

Sometimes the simplest things are the most beautiful. 

☮ Allison Bentley-Song ☮
"Allison was so mousy and I adored her. Her ambition: scary. Admirable, but scary. And I guess when I saw her... I saw a side of me in her. The part I spent years to burn. The girl that wanted to feel and be perfect. Maybe, originally, I wanted to find her scars and make her relate to me, even in the slightest, but I started to care about her because of how much she cared about everything. Honestly? It was her drive that helped me pursue my dreams and become the filmmaker I am today. She doesn't know that, though."
While Tessa and Teddy have facetime dates with her, Reina and Allison catch up when they can. Since they both have unpredictable schedules, it's not easy for them to make time for each other, but Reina still considers her a close friend. There's a fondness Reina holds dear to her when it comes to Allison and maybe it's because if it wasn't for fate, having them meet in high school, Rei would be miserable in Florida working at an old run down movie theater that would surely go out of business. She can't explain it, but when she saw how Allison coped with her own issues, she felt like if her friend can do it, why can't she?

High school Reina could be your beautiful daydream or worst nightmare. Grayson was one of the few people that saw a side of her that rooted back to childhood trauma. She didn't need to punch him in the face like Tara did to make him scared. It was that kind of stare that showed that nothing anyone did to her could be worse than what she was capable of doing to herself and inadvertently others. In all honesty, if it wasn't for Tessa, Caden, and Teddy, Reina could've gone off the deep end and become the very person that Grayson traces everyday of his working life. Fortunately, she drowned herself in a creative outlet and didn't resort to the dark thoughts that haunted her mind.

Although Brent's intentions were good, he cornered Reina when she was in one of her episodes and unfortunately, all he did was suffocate her. He tried to heal a wounded animal before building its trust and she snapped, unintentionally hurting his feelings. Now that she is older and has had plenty of time to self reflect, she feels bad for saying what she said. She doesn't even remember what she said to him. All she knows is after that, they both avoided each other and barely made eye contact. In addition to that, she started distancing herself from Caden, realizing who she really was, was someone that would only hurt him in the long run. 

At the time, she truly believed all good things must come to an end.

Reina doesn't allow herself to hate anyone. Amanda, though? She really, really, really doesn't like her because of that elitist attitude. The memories she shares with Amanda is her trying too hard to become her friend and as a result she was either ignored or brushed off like she was nothing. Since they shared a mutual best friend, Tessa, it made sense to Rei for them to get to know each other but Amanda didn't even give her the time of day. This left Rei completely and utterly bitter. She tried and the Class Prez treated her like she was an insignificant bug, that could be easily crushed with her heel. Whatever. She was better than that. 

No point in stooping to her level.

"She's the one that liked Grayson, only to end up having the worst prom experience ever, right? Poor thing. If I hung out with her more, I could've told her that Gray was dumb for Amanda. He wasn't that subtle about it. Ah well. We live, we learn."
When she imagines Willow's face, Rei harbors the feelings of pity. They weren't too close - they did have idle conversations every so often, and ended up at the same hangout spots because of mutual friends but nothing they shared was remarkable enough to last the years. Thinking back on her, Rei does hope Willow has found a silver lining to her bad luck. Everyone deserves happiness and it's unfortunate Gray used such a good person's heart to his own advantage.

Pretty self-explanatory. Alex was in the King's Men so it was inevitable she would meet him eventually, but their relationship was so insignificant that she can barely remember him. They had different things going on in their young lives so the likelihood of them crossing paths was dependent on their mutual connection, her lover, Caden.

Like Alex, Reina knew Dre because of the King's Men. Caden's group of friends. He was nice eye candy to look at but she would never sleep around with someone Caden considered his friend. Even if she was slutty, she did have some morals holding her back. Plus, Dre was with that sweet girl Grace during their last year. It was nice to see how happy and in love they were with each other. A star couple.

Reina can't blame Jace for being so love struck for the class president. Amanda has a charm that makes the boys want her badly, even if she never touches them. By proxy, since she already disliked Amanda, she got annoyed whenever he was around her. To her, Amanda didn't deserve the attention. If anything, she needed to be forcibly yanked back down to Earth. A reality check. 

And Jace was doing everything but that.

It took Dre asking Grace out senior year for Reina to have more opportunities to get to know her. These opportunities were strictly when the King's Men decided to do anything together, and if they had a lover, they'd extend the invite. So, whenever she got the chance she'd try to befriend the cute geek. REINA JUST WANTED FRIENDS. Sadly, that was short lived because of Grayson's stunt on prom night and things got awkward, for everyone. Any chance of friendship she had with Grace no longer existed.

Although they never got to know each other, Reina was fascinated with Tara's personality (from afar). The tough-as-nails type that seemed unbreakable. No words or actions could pierce her or break her. She was the bully that bullies feared. She had a bite behind her bark and truth be told, if Rei could act like that to her parents, maybe she wouldn't have gotten lost in her own depression. The Tara she remembers was a true feminist and never wavered from what she believed. Most importantly, she was loyal and stood by her closest friends' sides. If there was one wasted opportunity in her high school's past, it would be the fact that Rei never tried to get to know her; too caught up with herself and her own problems. Just trying to survive.

Brent inherited his father's Filipino skin color and looks the most like his father than his twin brother does. In addition to that, he's quite tall and he does appear to be lanky to those not directly next to him, but something one might be able to tell when they are mere inches away from him is just how much of a beefcake Brent Walsh really is. With broad shoulders and a body befitting of someone who exercises as much as he can (as well as engaging in several other physical activities), they might see someone incredibly fit. 

Standing at 6'3 and weighing just on the cusp of 200lbs, he is an imposing man, which to those who haven't seen him since high school, might see what he is now as a far cry to how he looked in high school. As someone who inherited his father's tone, he inherited his mother's hazel eyes and naturally wavy hair. There is no doubt about that. When gazing into his eyes, they ooze a honey sweetness that matches his spirit.

He shops frequently at beach shops and purchases clothes that might be best suited for his outdoorsy activities. Though, he also shops at Target and Wal-Mart, purchasing comfortable clothes for someone who is a little larger than the average beefcake bear. this usually results in shirts with funny quotes/designs on them, shorts and jeans, open-toed sandals, and sneakers of various makes. He doesn't spend a lot on clothes but he does spend enough to make sure he doesn't run out of clean clothes to wear. Most of his money ends up going to organic food and the like, anyway.

Right off the bat, Brent comes off as a very strong personality. His energy levels are off the roof and he has a glow about him that makes those around him unable to not smile. He's one of those guys who can befriend just about anyone he comes into contact with. It's not necessarily because they are influenced by his positive vibes but he usually engages in conversation and just lets his natural charm do the rest, but this isn't without some backlash. He's positive, yes; and he definitely will make you smile and laugh, but something to know about Brent Walsh is sometimes he might come across a little too strong. It's unintentional but the fact remains he usually asserts himself into situations that maybe he's not welcome in. Or maybe there's a private conversation happening between a few people and he injects himself: this could lead to him being ignored.

And this is where the doubts come out. See, he's full of energy, he's charasmatic, and full of cinnamon roll sweetness but he also is effected intensely by whatever reaction he gets in return. If it's welcoming, he'll continue as he was a minute ago, but if rejected, he retreats to a bubble and might even isolate himself for several hours; and here is where he falls into potential depression. That doesn't necessarily mean he's clinically depressed but he goes through moods, but he can bounce back from them given the right, proper trigger that gets him out of his funk. And then it's back to being the spontaneous, adventure-loving, lovable idiot that Brent Walsh has been known to be all his life.

Brent, as a friend, is probably the best you'll have cause he's always there for his friends. As a lover, he's attentive and daring. His impulsive and spontaneous nature hints that he's adventurous in all the ways that matter but also it means you'll never be bored around him. He is a good time, no alcohol required (though it'll make nights with him a lot more entertaining). He can also act a little crazy. Sometimes this might be too much for some, but hell be damned if a party happened without the Brent Walsh energy present.

Basically what all this means is Brent is a simple guy who just wants to be loved and adored by his friends just as he loves and adores them. There's not much more to say other than that!

Upbringing Synopsis
The life that Brent had, by all accounts of it, wasn't a bad one. He lived in a home owned by wonderful people and he went to a fancy private school from the time that he was old enough until he graduated. His parents did what they could. Even though they weren't the wealthiest and couldn't give him everything that his classmates did, for all intents and purposes, Brent Walsh had a happy childhood. Along with him and his twin brother, Carlos, the Santiago-Walsh residence wasn't a horrible place to live.

Both of his parents -- Francisco Louis Santiago and Marie Ann Walsh -- were a detective with the Palm Beach Police Department. His father worked in vice and his mother was a rising detective in the Special Victims Unit. Their jobs meant they weren't around as often as they wanted to be, but with his brother, Brent didn't complain much. Truth be told, he was honestly happy. He was able to attend the prestigious King's Academy. 

As the years went on, it became increasingly obvious to everyone that the time his parents devoted to their job so that their boys could attend a good school was taking its toll on the entire family. Carlos began to experiment with drugs by the time he was fourteen, their parents were fighting a lot more frequently than they weren't, and Brent started to gain weight -- like a lot of weight. When Carlos went in the opposite direction, getting skinnier almost to the bone, Brent developed a lot of fat and was, at one point, three-hundred pounds at just fourteen. He didn't seem to be unhappy, but being a boy of color, he was teased horrendously and not only because of the color of his skin. Brent felt like he was an outcast during his 7th-8th-grade years because of the constant remarks made about his weight.

And that's when he made the conscious effort to sign up for football. Two years at the weight brought him slowly out of being prime target practice for the bullies at his school and he was the energetic, happy kid that he always has been. From wrestling to football, Brent became as active as he could; and through his increased activity came the natural allure of friends and other such company. Though he was still big, by the time he was fifteen, a new side of Brent Walsh was seen: the social butterfly side of him. Whether it was him being drawn to others or them being drawn to him, there was no denying he was no longer the loner kid that was teased -- he was the defensive lineman for the King's Knight. He also wrestled from time to time.

As great as all this was, when high school ended, all of the familiarity that came with it sort of just faded away. The friends he really bonded with went off to do their own thing, the girl that he went to prom with got into her favorite college, and Brent stayed in Palm Beach. He never moved away to some college because the one that he attended was just an hour's drive from his family home. For a few years, he did attend the University of Miami with the intention of getting a degree in finance. And sure he even played some college ball, but despite all of this, despite keeping up with his health and slimming down even more in college, Brent was missing something in his life. He knew he couldn't find that at college, so after the second semester of his second year at UM, he dropped out and moved back home.

But that didn't mean he wasted his time. Though he was at home, Brent got a job working at the Toyota car dealership near him. He figured it would be temporary until he figured out what he wanted to do with his life, but like the majority of men in this country, he never got out of his job. If he was to be perfectly honest with himself, he loved his job. He had a natural chemistry, so that made selling cars easy and he wasn't bad on the eyes either, which was the main part of the reason his female boss at the time kept him around. But all of that aside, he loved his job. It was the purpose that was missing: doing something other than reading textbooks and looking at graphs. Sure a degree would have been nice, but by the time he made manager and his boss, who sold the dealership to him, effectively making him the boss, he was making enough money to make him happy; and in the end, that's what life was about: being happy and not needing any more than what you already have.

Brent was okay with that and come the reunion, he wasn't going to let all of the success get to him. Besides! He's gonna party like it's 2009! As the kids say: turn down for what!?

There’s a lot of history that has gone into the band of merry men known as The King’s Men. They have known each other all throughout their high school years. Though some have known each other longer than others or, of course, the incredible falling out that happened between Jace and Grayson, there is one mutual link that ties them all together; and at one point in time before Gray spotted Jace with Amanda, they all had one person who seemed to be able to bring them together.

Brent Juan Diego Santiago-Walsh. He was the link.

Brent had never wanted to indulge himself in the drama nor did he ever think he’d find himself in the middle. As a youngster -- or at least when he was twelve or thirteen, he met Grayson and Jason. Immediately, the two of them became quick friends. Brent was a lot bigger in body mass in middle school. At one point, he was close to two-hundred-and-fifty pounds. Because of this, he was often targeted by anyone who felt inferior to themselves and because he was mainly a pacifist, he never fought back. In his stead, Grayson Chambers and Jason Graves dove headfirst into action to defend him. That always resonated with Brent and the bigger Brent never went anywhere without a few of his protectors nearby (Tara O’Leary was around too but that’s a story for another day).

Since meeting them, Brent became a little more social. At one point during the summer between eighth and ninth grades, Grayson and Brent had a lengthy talk. It was Grayson’s suggestion that led him to the path of football and the journey to a better lifestyle. Because of this, Grayson met Sebastian Jace Russo. The two clicked rather well. Jace saw something special in Brent. He was sloppy in the beginning but it was apparent Brent’s specialty was defensive lineman and Jace ended up helping him. Through Jace, Brent also met who he always saw as his high school sweetheart, Tessa Mendoza (another story for later).

Brent's ability to make friends with just about anyone became especially apparent when he found an unlikely friendship with his brother's friend, Caden Burke. When his brother Carlos was going through his drug addiction and survived it, it was poetry that helped him get through it; and through poetry, Carlos and Caden became friends. Brent was a big-time support system for his brother and he and Caden were always near. Brent was an avid fan of poetry, so it was natural he was around Caden a lot. Naturally, this meant Caden became fast friends with Brent's friends and soon found himself among Brent's best bros and also a proud, if not sentimental, member of The King's Men.

The evolution of the King’s Men grew with Alexander. Someone who Brent met through unorthodox means. Brent was your typical jock in the sense that academics often escaped him, so on multiple occasions, he needed help. One science project many moons ago, Brent asked for Alex’s help and the two kind of just clicked. Brent’s charm and the down-to-earth nature Alex possessed was an easy friendship. And then, their friendship grew when Brent was there for Alex when Everly died. It was what bonded them as best friends and Brent cherishes Alex all the more for it.

Certainly not last on the list, Andre Martin and Brent Walsh, much like he and Jace, bonded over sports. Likened to his friendship with Jace and Tessa, Andre was one of the people in Brent’s life who helped him on his journey to fitness and living a better life for himself. Outside of that, Brent and Andre always found enjoyment out of playing some b-ball or even some football with the other boys. Honestly, there’s something entirely wholesome about Brent’s relationship with Andre. Despite the distance, Brent’s maintained adequate contact with him. Whenever the Nets come to Miami, better be certain that Brent has a front-row seat and backstage passes waiting for him!

At the end of the day, these six men, though life after high school got in the way of constant communication or for two individuals in particular refused to talk, they all have one mutual thread that will forever bind them. Jace and Grayson’s beef be damned, Brent Walsh is the one person who unites them. Come hell or high water, The King’s Men will ride together again!

At its core, the friendship between Tessa and Brent is one that is entirely wholesome and supportive. From day one when they met through Jace, the two had been fast friends. She was one of many who he cites as his reason for being able to maintain his healthy lifestyle. And though Jace and he still workout occasionally, Tessa is the most frequent workout partner he has. Her support and friendship means the world to them. 

During their days whilst attending King’s Academy as students, there was a brief time where Brent and Tessa dated. It only lasted for a few months, but he will forever remember those being some of the happiest months he’s had. He was still plenty chubby back then, so it wasn’t like all of the girls were lining up to date the defensive lineman of the King’s Knights, yet the one who Brent knew to have sort of reputation (if the rumors were to be believed) actually dated him for a good while. Maybe it was brief and maybe it was a simple high school crush that ended producing a meaningful friendship full of mutual, somewhat platonic love and adoration, Brent often wonders what could have been.

And maybe that’s why he never…

Brent does wonder who they could have been but there was no way in heck he would ever trade a what if, unclear life for the friendship he has with her now. That means more to him than any dream scenario that pops into his mind from time to time. Be it friendship or otherwise, Brent Walsh is thankful every day to have such a good friend and positive influence on life.

Brent has always been the kind of person to either become friends with someone rather quickly due to his overly positive nature and ability to make people smile just by being around them, it is no surprise to anyone that he had few enemies; and though he certainly had a handful or two of people he was especially close with such as The King’s Men and Tessa, he was also pretty friendly with another handful of people. Whether through mutual friends or mutual interests at the time, Brent could easily say he had a bit of a knack for making quick friends with just about anyone and the following people are on that list.

They were in the same classes and for the most part, Brent and Willow got along well. Brent remembered the times that he and Willow bonded due to their mutual natures of not sticking to just one group of friends. Their love for animals was one of the initial things that bonded them. They also became friends through Alex. 

There was a moment before ...everything that happened at prom that changed a lot of relationships that were connected to Brent where he tried to prevent it, but being so indirectly involved, Brent couldn’t. He tried to be there for Willow as much as he could, but between how things ended with her and Grayson and all of the in-between events, she didn’t seem to be in a place to receive his particular brand of help. 

By the time graduation came, after the end of the year party and she went off on her own post-high school adventures, Brent and Willow’s contact sort of just faded.

Throughout a majority of their high school years, at least from where Brent was concerned, he didn’t particularly care for Alison. He didn’t know her, of course, so it wasn’t as though there was anything he had against her, but the vibe she gave off back then wasn’t one that was met positively with him. And keep in mind this was the guy who made friends with everyone. As it just so happened, Brent was quick to judge a book by its cover (something Tara did with him).

During one time in their Junior year, they were partnered in a project for one of the classes they shared. As one might suspect, Brent wasn’t exactly thrilled about this but he went into it with an open mind. For all the times he tried to win over Tara and got her to see he wasn’t like all the jocks, Brent knew he had to give Allison the same benefit of the doubt, which he was glad he did because she wasn’t at all what he thought. She was bossy, sure, but there was a kindness and a level of understanding that Brent didn’t think existed.

Safe to say, they were fast friends and Brent no longer consciously avoided her. They didn’t run with the same crowds, but when they saw each other in the halls, Brent waved, said hello, and generally just was friendly to her. Allison was someone he could call a friend. Since high school ended, they didn’t speak much, but Brent sold her a Toyota Prius and if her Facebook was to be believed, she still drives it to this very day. Talk about a quality motor vehicle. Only Toyota provides that kind of long-lasting quality.

Brent being a jock really affected the first impressions that Tara had on him in all the wrong ways. He thought she was cool but she avoided him like the plague. Only when she saw there was more to him than his football player persona did a friendship form. After that, it was as simple as them being defenders of the bruised and abused. Together, they protected those who could not protect themselves. And of course, being Teddy’s prom dates.

To this day, they still maintain contact, but due to their careers and life in general, the only times they get to hang out is when their days off align so they could work out together. Brent’s main workout bud is Tessa but when Tess is on call, should Tara be free, they will pump iron and treadmill race until they can’t pump and run no longer!

It’s hard to imagine there ever being anyone that Brent Diego Santiago-Walsh could have enemies, which it is technically true. He himself doesn’t have anyone he necessarily hates. Brent isn’t keen on the voluntary hatred life, but he does have a handful of people who either dislike him or he had made a conscious decision to avoid. Either because of an abrasive personality or generally just getting a bad vibe from them, he would just make an effort in avoiding them at all costs. Equally, there’s one person in particular that he can’t understand what set them off, but this person never has talked to him since a specific incident.

There is nothing simple, misleading, or complex about Brent’s feelings about Amanda Woodall-Cross. Brilliant mind, extremely beautiful, and ten-times as scary, Brent never bothered to engage in any conversation with Amanda. He was never one to hate her, even if she was center stage in what divided two of his best friends. He knew that there was a lot more to it, but because of her, two of his best friends don’t talk to each other. Maybe there’s a small part of her that hates her for that, but that would require Brent to have a place for hate in his life. He let go of the high school drama when he got his diploma, but being back might drudge up those same problems...

It’s hard to say whether or not Grace is a nice person or not. She and Brent have mutual friends, but he never bothered to get to know her. It wasn’t because their paths never crossed. She was Dre’s girlfriend during high school, so of course, she was around when he was. Whether it was at parties or during lunch, there were chances they were near each other, but Brent had this idea early on that she was someone he didn’t want to get to know (similarly to how he was with Allison in the beginning). Because of that, he never bothered to get to know her.

In his years of reflection, maybe he was a little harsh and didn’t give her the proper benefit of the doubt. Brent often thinks that he was way too hasty and maybe he shouldn’t have been so quick to judge. There was no use to think on the could have been. Maybe during the reunion, his opinion of her might change. He’s certainly open to the possibility.

Over the years, Brent tried to understand what went wrong between him and Reina. He wasn’t so blind to think they were excessively close, but she was really close to Caden and that meant that Brent was friends with her regardless if she actually liked him. And given all of this, it stood to reason that whenever Brent had a suspicion that she wasn’t doing great, given it was his nature to help, he tried to do just that. 

Brent had always been pretty observant and it wasn’t like Reina was subtle in her downward spiral, but he never once thought that made her less than anyone who had their stuff together back then. He did what any decent human being would do, especially one who was so close to someone she happened to be as well: he decided to help her and do everything that he thought was right. In every time he reflected back, Brent knew he did everything that he was supposed to.

So why did Reina explode on him like she did? He was only trying to help. Even to this day, Brent has never understood what he said that set her off so much. His biggest regret was never following up and trying to get to the bottom of it. Maybe things would have been different. Maybe Brent wouldn’t have the feeling in his gut when it came to Reina that she was suffering in some way and he didn’t push a little harder to help her.

Honestly, the only thing that Brent could say he knows about Camden is from their social media posts and youtube videos. Outside of that, there wasn’t much interaction between them. Hell, he didn’t even know she went to King’s the same time he did until he saw her mention it in one of her videos. It’s cool, though! He always wanted to meet famous people! Maybe they could have a drink at the reunion sometime.


.........................	"Friendship isn't one big thing -- it's a million little things!" _{There’s a lot of history that has gone into the band of merry men known as The King’s Men. They have known each other all throughout their high school years. Though some have known each other longer than others or, of course, the incredible falling out that happened between Jace and Grayson, there is one mutual link that ties them all together; and at one point in time before Gray spotted Jace with Amanda, they all had one person who seemed to be able to bring them together. Brent Juan Diego Santiago-Walsh. He was the link. Brent had never wanted to indulge himself in the drama nor did he ever think he’d find himself in the middle. As a youngster -- or at least when he was twelve or thirteen, he met Grayson and Jason. Immediately, the two of them became quick friends. Brent was a lot bigger in body mass in middle school. At one point, he was close to two-hundred-and-fifty pounds. Because of this, he was often targeted by anyone who felt inferior to themselves and because he was mainly a pacifist, he never fought back. In his stead, Grayson Chambers and Jason Graves dove headfirst into action to defend him. That always resonated with Brent and the bigger Brent never went anywhere without a few of his protectors nearby (Tara O’Leary was around too but that’s a story for another day). Since meeting them, Brent became a little more social. At one point during the summer between eighth and ninth grades, Grayson and Brent had a lengthy talk. It was Grayson’s suggestion that led him to the path of football and the journey to a better lifestyle. Because of this, Grayson met Sebastian Jace Russo. The two clicked rather well. Jace saw something special in Brent. He was sloppy in the beginning but it was apparent Brent’s specialty was defensive lineman and Jace ended up helping him. Through Jace, Brent also met who he always saw as his high school sweetheart, Tessa Mendoza (another story for later). Brent's ability to make friends with just about anyone became especially apparent when he found an unlikely friendship with his brother's friend, Caden Burke. When his brother Carlos was going through his drug addiction and survived it, it was poetry that helped him get through it; and through poetry, Carlos and Caden became friends. Brent was a big-time support system for his brother and he and Caden were always near. Brent was an avid fan of poetry, so it was natural he was around Caden a lot. Naturally, this meant Caden became fast friends with Brent's friends and soon found himself among Brent's best bros and also a proud, if not sentimental, member of The King's Men. The evolution of the King’s Men grew with Alexander. Someone who Brent met through unorthodox means. Brent was your typical jock in the sense that academics often escaped him, so on multiple occasions, he needed help. One science project many moons ago, Brent asked for Alex’s help and the two kind of just clicked. Brent’s charm and the down-to-earth nature Alex possessed was an easy friendship. And then, their friendship grew when Brent was there for Alex when Everly died. It was what bonded them as best friends and Brent cherishes Alex all the more for it. Certainly not last on the list, Andre Martin and Brent Walsh, much like he and Jace, bonded over sports. Likened to his friendship with Jace and Tessa, Andre was one of the people in Brent’s life who helped him on his journey to fitness and living a better life for himself. Outside of that, Brent and Andre always found enjoyment out of playing some b-ball or even some football with the other boys. Honestly, there’s something entirely wholesome about Brent’s relationship with Andre. Despite the distance, Brent’s maintained adequate contact with him. Whenever the Nets come to Miami, better be certain that Brent has a front-row seat and backstage passes waiting for him! At the end of the day, these six men, though life after high school got in the way of constant communication or for two individuals in particular refused to talk, they all have one mutual thread that will forever bind them. Jace and Grayson’s beef be damned, Brent Walsh is the one person who unites them. Come hell or high water, The King’s Men will ride together again!}		.........................

Always beside you." — Walter Winchell At its core, the friendship between Tessa and Brent is one that is entirely wholesome and supportive. From day one when they met through Jace, the two had been fast friends. She was one of many who he cites as his reason for being able to maintain his healthy lifestyle. And though Jace and he still workout occasionally, Tessa is the most frequent workout partner he has. Her support and friendship means the world to them. During their days whilst attending King’s Academy as students, there was a brief time where Brent and Tessa dated. It only lasted for a few months, but he will forever remember those being some of the happiest months he’s had. He was still plenty chubby back then, so it wasn’t like all of the girls were lining up to date the defensive lineman of the King’s Knights, yet the one who Brent knew to have sort of reputation (if the rumors were to be believed) actually dated him for a good while. Maybe it was brief and maybe it was a simple high school crush that ended producing a meaningful friendship full of mutual, somewhat platonic love and adoration, Brent often wonders what could have been. And maybe that’s why he never… Brent does wonder who they could have been but there was no way in heck he would ever trade a what if, unclear life for the friendship he has with her now. That means more to him than any dream scenario that pops into his mind from time to time. Be it friendship or otherwise, Brent Walsh is thankful every day to have such a good friend and positive influence on life. x

Brent remembered the times that he and Willow bonded due to their mutual natures of not sticking to just one group of friends. Their love for animals was one of the initial things that bonded them. They also became friends through Alex. There was a moment before ...everything that happened at prom that changed a lot of relationships that were connected to Brent where he tried to prevent it, but being so indirectly involved, Brent couldn’t. He tried to be there for Willow as much as he could, but between how things ended with her and Grayson and all of the in-between events, she didn’t seem to be in a place to receive his particular brand of help. By the time graduation came, after the end of the year party and she went off on her own post-high school adventures, Brent and Willow’s contact sort of just faded.

I hope life has treated her well."}	^{// Friends/Former Customer — Lost touch after high school} Throughout a majority of their high school years, at least from where Brent was concerned, he didn’t particularly care for Alison. He didn’t know her, of course, so it wasn’t as though there was anything he had against her, but the vibe she gave off back then wasn’t one that was met positively with him. And keep in mind this was the guy who made friends with everyone. As it just so happened, Brent was quick to judge a book by its cover (something Tara did with him). During one time in their Junior year, they were partnered in a project for one of the classes they shared. As one might suspect, Brent wasn’t exactly thrilled about this but he went into it with an open mind. For all the times he tried to win over Tara and got her to see he wasn’t like all the jocks, Brent knew he had to give Allison the same benefit of the doubt, which he was glad he did because she wasn’t at all what he thought. She was bossy, sure, but there was a kindness and a level of understanding that Brent didn’t think existed. Safe to say, they were fast friends and Brent no longer consciously avoided her. They didn’t run with the same crowds, but when they saw each other in the halls, Brent waved, said hello, and generally just was friendly to her. Allison was someone he could call a friend. Since high school ended, they didn’t speak much, but Brent sold her a Toyota Prius and if her Facebook was to be believed, she still drives it to this very day. Talk about a quality motor vehicle. Only Toyota provides that kind of long-lasting quality.

He thought she was cool but she avoided him like the plague. Only when she saw there was more to him than his football player persona did a friendship form. After that, it was as simple as them being defenders of the bruised and abused. Together, they protected those who could not protect themselves. And of course, being Teddy’s prom dates. To this day, they still maintain contact, but due to their careers and life in general, the only times they get to hang out is when their days off align so they could work out together. Brent’s main workout bud is Tessa but when Tess is on call, should Tara be free, they will pump iron and treadmill race until they can’t pump and run no longer!

Brilliant mind, extremely beautiful, and ten-times as scary, Brent never bothered to engage in any conversation with Amanda. He was never one to hate her, even if she was center stage in what divided two of his best friends. He knew that there was a lot more to it, but because of her, two of his best friends don’t talk to each other. Maybe there’s a small part of her that hates her for that, but that would require Brent to have a place for hate in his life. He let go of the high school drama when he got his diploma, but being back might drudge up those same problems...

She and Brent have mutual friends, but he never bothered to get to know her. It wasn’t because their paths never crossed. She was Dre’s girlfriend during high school, so of course, she was around when he was. Whether it was at parties or during lunch, there were chances they were near each other, but Brent had this idea early on that she was someone he didn’t want to get to know (similarly to how he was with Allison in the beginning). Because of that, he never bothered to get to know her. In his years of reflection, maybe he was a little harsh and didn’t give her the proper benefit of the doubt. Brent often thinks that he was way too hasty and maybe he shouldn’t have been so quick to judge. There was no use to think on the could have been. Maybe during the reunion, his opinion of her might change. He’s certainly open to the possibility.

He wasn’t so blind to think they were excessively close, but she was really close to Caden and that meant that Brent was friends with her regardless if she actually liked him. And given all of this, it stood to reason that whenever Brent had a suspicion that she wasn’t doing great, given it was his nature to help, he tried to do just that. Brent had always been pretty observant and it wasn’t like Reina was subtle in her downward spiral, but he never once thought that made her less than anyone who had their stuff together back then. He did what any decent human being would do, especially one who was so close to someone she happened to be as well: he decided to help her and do everything that he thought was right. In every time he reflected back, Brent knew he did everything that he was supposed to. So why did Reina explode on him like she did? He was only trying to help. Even to this day, Brent has never understood what he said that set her off so much. His biggest regret was never following up and trying to get to the bottom of it. Maybe things would have been different. Maybe Brent wouldn’t have the feeling in his gut when it came to Reina that she was suffering in some way and he didn’t push a little harder to help her.

Ever the flamboyant ray of sunshine, Teddy has always been overtly positive and energetic. He can definitely come off as someone who just drank three cups of coffee before doing much of anything as he tends to bounce around quite a bit, usually out of nerves. Teddy is a nervous sort by nature, he's awkward socially and usually prone to much excitement at any mention of fashion. Teddy is a good soul though, warm and compassionate, his heart is in the right place. Teddy is usually well liked by those around him, not one to step on any toes purposefully, though he can put his foot in his mouth sometimes. 

Teddy is oblivious most of the time, lost in his head or in another world entirely, he can be quite spacey. He's also gullible to a fault, will believe people when they tell him things most of the time, and that can be a major downfall of his. He can come off socially immature at times because he's slightly autistic. He's just a shy, nervous, awkward bundle of human with too much energy and no idea what to do with it. But he's unfailingly polite, really intelligent when he wants to be, really good at math, and selfless. He will do whatever it takes to help those in need, stand up to bullies, and make sure that those without a voice still get heard. He'd a big supporter of equal rights for everyone, often found at protest rallies vying for the rights of every human. 

Teddy is obsessed with fashion, he follows all the blogs and religiously attends New York Fashion Week every year. His favorite designer is Alexander McQueen, and he aspires to have his own line someday. For now, he just writes columns about fashion which does him quite well financially. But Teddy has dreams of grandeur.


Upbringing Synopsis
Born to Douglas and Marcie Gage in early October, Teddy was always a happy go lucky child. He was raised to two doctors, both had high hopes that someday Teddy would also go into the field of medicine. But it was evident even when Teddy was a child, that he really loved clothes. Teddy would sneak into his mother's closet and try on all her nice dresses, walk around in her heels, and spend hours pormuring over fashion magazines. His parents knew, they knew he was gay from when he was still small. But Teddy was too scared to tell them, too worried they'd reject him. 

Teddy was raised in private school, all the best ones since his parents were renowned doctors in Palm Beach, they made good money and could afford the best education for their son. Teddy took to the upper class lifestyle like a fish to water, reveling in the posh way the people carried themselves and so wishing to dive headfirst into that world himself. He loved the glitz and glamor of the fashion world, and wanted to dress upstanding people in the finest silks and fabrics. When he was fourteen, Teddy finally told his parents that he was gay. They weren't surprised if course, and loved him all the same. They were really good parents, loving and supportive despite Teddy being so different from what they had initially hoped for. Despite that, they were fiercely protective of their son, and Teddy loved them more than his own life. He was very close to his family, no matter how small it was. 

When he was sixteen, Teddy had his first "serious" boyfriend, which lasted exactly six months before Teddy found him schtuping the school's tight end after football practice. Since then, Teddy hasn't been in any serious relationships... Except for his current one. Julian and He had been on again and off again for about three years, and Teddy was frankly exhausted by it. He was about to call it quits for good if Julian didn't make up his mind with what he wanted. But Teddy couldn't find himself to completely walk away, there was just something keeping him there. But Teddy had no idea what it was.

When he graduated from high school, Teddy's parents announced shortly afterward that they would be moving permanently to New York City. Having chose to go to a New York City school himself for college, namely NYU, Teddy was sceptical of the timing. His parents had always been protective, but not the the point of stalking him when he went off to college. The timing was coincidental though, as his father had just been offered as position as the leading neurosurgeon at Mount Sinai hospital in New York City, which was currently listed as one of the Top Hospitals in the country. His mother being a pediatric nurse made the move a no-brainer. Before he knew it, his entire family had relocated from Florida to New York City. He spent the next four years studying fashion design at NYU with a minor in fashion journalism. 

But his fashion career was not a walk in the park as Teddy's first serious job was as a waiter for a restaurant not far from his flat in Brooklyn. The next three years were spent working his way out of the waiting tables world and into the fashion world, landing an intern position at Vogue.com. After a year as an intern he finally worked his way into a fashion journalism job, which was one step closer to his dream. Currently he's one of the top fashion editorialists in his office, with his eyes on a fashion designing job.

Working on the paper together was what started the friendship between Caden and Teddy. Bonding over a shared love of literature and journalism, they spent a lot of time working on things to do with the paper. This led to them realizing they had much more in common with their music tastes and more. When Caden and Reina started getting closer, it only caused Teddy and Caden to become even closer friends as Reina was his other closest friend at the time.

When they all graduated, Teddy made sure to keep in contact with Caden. They visited each other often, especially since they both lived in the same state. Teddy definitely felt like Caden was his best guy friend, spending a lot of his free time when not working or going to school with him. Even to this day, they hang out on a consistent basis. They still bond over journalism, as they both made a career out of it. Teddy even yearly throws him a humongous birthday party, inviting their closest friends and making it a big event.

"She kind of just barged in and became one of my favorite people, ever. "

Teddy met Reina at a local Human Rights Campaign rally, and his life was never the same. Automatically recognizing each other seeing as they went to the sake school and were both freshmen, Reina took an immediate liking to Teddy. Bonding immediately over a conversation both about equal rights and their influence on media, Teddy felt like he'd become extraordinarily lucky in having someone who both supported him and could help bring him out of his shell. Reina was not one to take no for an answer, and over the next few weeks had basically poked and prodded her way into Teddy's life. She dragged him to rallies constantly, came over to his house unannounced for various reasons, and basically just not left him alone. Reina also joined the GSA which just made her an even more permanent fixture in his life. 

But Teddy couldn't bring himself to really be bothered by it and before he knew it, Reina had become one of his closest friends. When she and Caden got close, Teddy became the biggest fan of their possible romance. When it fell apart, he was devastated. He to this day still tries to play matchmaker with the two of them, even if Reina is married. It's a sham, in Teddy's opinion, and the divorce couldn't come soon enough.

Teddy just wants Reina to be happy, he loves her dearly and would do anything for her. Teddy considers Reina to be sort of a big sister type to himself, and he honestly doesn't know what he would do without her sometimes. Even thoyhj they live on opposite sides of the country they still keep in regular contact, Teddy flies to visit from time to time and vice versa. They are still very good friends, and Teddy is excited to see her again.

"Oh she's adorable, I can't wait to see her again, I miss her face. "

Teddy met Allison initially through the GSA, which he both started and was President of. After a few meetings, Allison opened up to Teddy about her two moms, and Teddy immediately wanted to meet them simply out of curiosity. They made a day of it, working on posters for a charity event for the GSA at Allison's house, Teddy finally got to meet her parents. Teddy immediately adored them, and vice versa. Over the next few years, Teddy spent many a afternoon at Allison's working on GSA related things or simply listening to his extensive Lady Gaga collection while pouring over magazines and chatting about nothing in particular.

After graduation, Teddy and Allison kept in touch through social media and over the phone from time to time. Teddy definitely was excited to see her, wanting to catch up and ask how her moms were doing. He absolutely adore her, and considers her a very close friend.

"Tara's always had my back when it mattered, she's an awesome person. I should talk to her more... "

Tara and Teddy aren't the closest of friends, but they are familiar. Having first become friends out of gratitude to Tara sticking up for him when he was bullied, Tara became someone that Teddy could rely on. When she joined the GSA they became friends, though they didn't hang out outside of school much, but they did go to prom together once. Teddy considers her a friend, and they're connected on social media. But they haven't really kept in contact as much as Teddy has with his other friends from high school, and Teddy kind of feels bad for that. He looks forward to seeing her again.

"We made out once, it was pretty hot, and then he took me to prom... Good times. I miss that guy. "

Teddy hadn't been invited to every single high school party ever held, but he had been invited to some. There was during his sophomore year that stuck out the most for him, mostly because he'd drunk a lot that night and mostly because of the thi gs that had happened while he had been drinking. It had started off like any other party, drinking and dancing andnflirtingnalk happening simultaneously. One game of Truth or Dare later and Teddy found himself and Brent making out in front of a bunch of drunk high schoolers.

Teddy hadn't even known Brent likes guys. Teddy had been openly out and proud since middle school, but Brent had never even mentioned it as far as he knew. But there they had been, making out like a couple of animals in heat. Flash forward to the day after and Teddy had silently hoped to forget about the matter entirely, but Brent kept saying hi go him in the hallways and smiling in his direction as if they were friends. Teddy didn't know what to make of it. Over the next few weeks they stayed friends, though not super close they said hi to each other in passing and talked on occasion.

Junior year they even went to prom together, sort of. They went as friends, with Tara. They stayed in touch after graduation too, talking every now and then but still not becoming any closer as friends. Currently, they're friends on social media and they have a casual chat every so often, but that's about it.

"Willow is a special soul, I'm so happy I met her. We have a standing wine date on Fridays! She's great!"
Teddy and Willow didn't have much of a friendship in high school. Ironically, they became friends after graduation. After Teddy had landed his job at Vogue.com, he realized that his boss was really active with charity work, particularly the charity that Willow was involved with. Teddy got the chance to interview her for the website, and when they both realized that they'd gone to high school together, they immediately decided to get lunch after to catch up.

From then on, they became fast friends. Teddy and Willow even have a steady Friday night wine night, in which they drink their weight in wine and talk, dance, do whatever they want basically. About a year after they reconnected, Vogue.com did a literacy fashion show with Willie's charity, which was a lot of fun for the both of them. Teddy absolutely cherishes his friendship with Willow.

Teddy met Grace originally in Yearbook club, and he immediately took a liking to her. Bonding over a love of technology and everything nerdy, Teddy and Grace began spending a lot of time together. They quickly became fast friends. When they graduated, they actually ended up going to the same college. Majoring with two different degrees, they had their different schedules. But they still managed to keep in close contact, hanging out on a consistent basis and still sharing in their mutual nerdy interests.

Teddy is excited to have a reunion with so many people he loves, and Grace is certainly on that list.

"Oh my God, my go to fashion friend. She's definitely one of the most stylish people I know, and she's an absolute savage. I love her. "

When Teddy first met Amanda, he immediately complimented her on her sense of style. They'd bumped into each other in the hallway, and Teddy had blurted it out without thought. From then, the two of them bonded over everything to do with fashion. They obsessed over designers, followed fashion blogs, talked boys, and spent a lot of time shopping together. This continued even after graduation, as Amanda and Teddy did a lot of shopping in New York as well, shared their relationship burns and secrets, and had many a movie marathon sleepover. 

Amanda is definitely another person that Teddy considers a good friend. One of his favorite people to talk to about his obsession with fashion and Alexander McQueen, Teddy has Amanda on speed dial for crisis purposes. Appearance Details
The Tara of 10 years ago was a supremely confident woman, and it showed in her looks. She kept her reddish-brown hair in an unruly pixie cut atop her head that showed how few fucks she gave. She preferred to show some levels of femininity, with her eyeliner skills on point, especially since she never had to worry about getting her makeup messed up in a fight. She rotated through a selection of dresses, her favorite being the green one, but most people didn't wonder about why she was wearing a dress underneath a leather bomber jacket, because most people weren't silly enough to ask.

Nowadays, the leather jacket has been retired. Tara long realized a while ago that the jacket wasn't the best choice as everyday wear in the Florida climate. She favors a section of conservative dresses or turtleneck/jean combos when she is out and about, and a yoga pants/tight long-sleeve shirt combo when at work. Her hair has since been allowed to grow out, covering up the multiple piercings in her ears as it darkened to a more classic brown color. Her body is still athletic and maintains some of the muscle tones from her athletic days, thanks to the home gym that is set up in the two bedroom apartment she rents while saving up for a house. However, much like the tattoos of the snarling bobcat on her right shoulder blade and the barbed wire around both upper arms, they are covered up by her wardrobe.

Personality
The Tara that is showing up for this reunion is a stark contrast to the Tara that left King's Academy 10 years ago. That Tara was known for being tough as nails and not taking anyone's shit whatsoever. As one of the oldest people in her grade, she especially didn't care for people who picked on those who were smaller and unable to fight back. Tara usually kicked the crap out of them. However, this Tara hasn't fought in a few years. Could she still do it? Probably? Is she going to find out? Not likely at this point. This Tara has become more reserved, more withdrawn. It's why she lives a solid distance away from her place of work, so she can maintain that level of separation with everything else.

It's like the fight from before was slowly leeched from her. She is still caring, still willing to give the shirt off her back to someone who asks for it, especially at work, but her social life has become non-existent. This is the first contact she is going to have with most of the people from her graduating class since finally getting out of Palm Beach. Tara is pretty anxious that people who remember her as this avenging feminist crusader are going to be extremely disappointed with who shows up in T.K.O's place. But she already committed to going, so she's here.

Upbringing Synopsis
Tara O'Leary was the first child of Brendan O'Leary, the heir to an national auto parts chain, and Nicola McTavish, a fresh-out-of-Florida Atlantic management intern at the time. Brendan's father Michael forced Brendan into a shotgun marriage once it was revealed Nicola was with child, and it ended up feeling husband and wife perpetually had guns pointed at them. But they remained together for the old man's sake, as well as that of Brendan's inheritance. In the meantime, the new family set up shop in a lovely little Palm Beach estate house.

Nicola did her best to raise first Tara, then later Claire and Shannon, but it was tough doing so by herself. Brendan had no interest, instead doing his best to figure out how he could get his father out of the company so he could take over. Tara's mother was a tough cookie though, having been raised by her own parents on the mean streets of Jacksonville to be able to take care of herself and the others who needed it. She imparted that wisdom onto Tara, who grew before her peers and as such became a protector to a lot of the smaller children in her grade. She liked the role, and invested her time in getting more athletic and better at brawling. She invested a lot of time in athletics; softball in the spring, rugby in the fall, and boxing whenever she had a spare chance.

Tara was informally known as T.K.O. due to her initials, but it started taking on another meaning as her reputation as a fierce fighter spread. It culminated at senior prom, when Willow Nicholson's date glanced sideways at another woman and when Willow came to T.K.O., the woman responded, in sequined dress and all, with a right hook to Grayson Chambers' face that left him knocked out on the gym floor. She didn't get much chance to revel in that act though. She was suspended from graduation and soon after, she left Florida. There were no softball scholarships for an outfielder that struck out way too much, but Quinnipiac University in Connecticut offered a full ride for their women's rugby program.

University life was great for Tara. Her teammates loved her, she was great in the scrums, and she managed to earn a degree in Biology with ease, moving on to her doctorate in order to become a physical therapist. Of course that was also to keep her in the Connecticut area to work on her side project of getting a WWE tryout. She figured she had the right combo of brawn, agility and fighting skill to make it, but as her doctorate program at Sacred Heart University got more and more intense, she was able to put less and less time into it. However, she did get vital connections inside the building, and it was one of them, Amanda Bentley, that recommended that she do her placement at the WWE Performance Center back in her home state.

The doctorate path was exhausting for Tara, just being able to keep up with all the necessary studies, so when she got to Orlando, the bosses there were more focused on having her attend to other athletes in the facility. T.K.O kept looking for an opportunity to try out, but they never gave her a second glance. She even started to feminize her look even more, growing her hair out and wearing more revealing clothes, but over the two years at the Centre, she got more worn down, even after being hired on full time. She was making enough money to not need to worry about Daddy, who had divorced her mother the second that her grandfather passed away and immediately moved out of the country to avoid paying taxes. Her mother was fine enough on her own, having gotten back into the field she trained for in university, but she moved out of state as well. With one sister heading for California and the other looking to join her following graduation, Tara began to feel increasingly isolated and she retreated into herself. She focused on maintaining her body in case she did get that call for a full tryout, but even that seemed hopeless. She's just lost a lot of the fight that got her to where she is. Now that the 10-year anniversary has come around, Tara accepted Amanda's invitation on a whim of maybe reconnecting with some people, but as the date got closer, she's not sure it was a good idea, given just how much has changed since 2009. But she will find out soon enough.

Everyone saw The Damned. It was basically required viewing. Heck, there was even a party dedicated to viewing it. However, Tara never met Reina in person, and as such, has no connection.

There wasn't much contact between Camden and Tara. At least, not that Tara could remember. The name sounded vaguely familiar, maybe on Instagram or something? Claire was always in those circles. Still, nothing concrete was coming to mind.

"She was cool enough. Definitely got some cool moms. Amanda is great. I hope Allison's doing all right."
Allison wasn't the type to accept failure in high school. That was quite all right with Tara, who appreciated the confidence. Allison ended up helping Tara with a couple of Math courses and through Allison, Tara met Amanda Bentley, who took some interest in the young scrapper and helped her get hooked up with the job in the WWE following her graduation. However, with Allison now out of state, Tara doesn't have near as much a connection with her as she does with her more-famous mother.

Aside from seeing him hanging out with her T.K.O. victim at senior prom, Tara doesn't know anything else about Caden.

Ah, Grayson, aka the man who made T.K.O. a household nickname in King's. Before the incident, they were at least neutral. Grayson hung out with the boys and was a bit of a jerk, but not enough to catch Tara's attention for too long. However, the night of senior prom, when Willow told Tara exactly what happened and how Grayson was dropping her for another woman, that put him squarely on Tara's shitlist. T.K.O knocked him to Tokyo with one punch and that was it. There was no contact after that, mostly because Grayson was unconscious and Tara was soon suspended.
Still, Tara thinks about that punch. She wonders if he actually learned anything from that night, or if she even has it in her to repeat that feat if necessary. It's the defining event of her high school experience, but she's hoping that's not all everyone remembers about her. At least Grayson probably won't after that lick he took.

Tara met Teddy when she joined the GSA, figuring she might as well lean full into the rumors about her. Teddy was welcoming and the two became friends over their shared dislike of bullies. They shared a magical night at junior prom with Brent Santiago-Walsh and managed to maintain their friendship throughout the end of high school. However, while there was still some level of connection afterwards, the social media channels could only do so much and they drifted apart.

It was hard not to have a bit of a crush on King's Academy's resident star athlete. However, Tara never acted on it for fear of tarnishing her reputation. Now that the reunion is coming and Dre is confirmed to be in attendance though... she still probably won't do anything.

"She's gonna have to carry me through this damn thing, because I have no clue how else I'm going to get through all of this."
Tessa is one of Tara's oldest and dearest friends. Probably the only one left who will actually be at this reunion. The two met on the softball team and while she came off as a bitch to a lot of people on her bad side, Tara appreciated her blunt nature, as well as the fact that she knew a thing or two about fighting, and the two bonded. Tara often served as the unofficial bouncer when Tessa's brothers were throwing parties that the underclassmen got into.
They ended up 3,000 miles apart for undergrad, but resumed their friendship when both got into Connecticut med schools, although Tessa's Yale stint easily topped Tara's course at Sacred Heart. Still, with the friends only a half an hour apart and studying in similar fields, it made it easy for the bonds to be reestablished and shared study sessions, both alcohol-fueled and not were common.
Now that both are established in the Orlando area, they still get together regularly to catch up and dish on various things, but Tara's been more withdrawn, especially being so far out of town. Tessa was the one who ultimately convinced Tara to accept Amanda's invitation to the reunion, so if nothing else, a weekend drinking in the Keys will be good to recharge the friendship at least.

"I miss Willow. I wish I knew what happened after the wedding. If I find out Lucas did anything to her...  let's just say I've learned some shit from when I punched Grayson... Least I think I still remember it..."
On the surface, it didn't seem like Willow and Tara were in sync on anything, but a random pairing in gym class led to a friendship at least as strong as the one Tara remembered from watching Buffy reruns. Tara was quick to get Willow up and moving, at least in stark contrast to her previous efforts in PE, and Willow bestowed the nickname "Rocky" upon Tara, which she liked given the fighting and the roots of her name in Gaelic lore. When Grayson broke Willow's heart at senior prom, Tara was absolutely livid that he could do something to someone so freaking sweet, and she went full T.K.O. on Grayson in response. 
The two remained close through undergrad, even as Willow was spending more and more time with Lucas, who Tara didn't really care for. Something about him never seemed right. They were still close enough that Willow made Tara a part of the bridal party for their eventual marriage. However, it was soon after the marriage that they started to drift apart, with Tara's move back to Florida essentially sealing the deal. She hasn't talked to Willow in a while, but Tara is hopeful Willow will be here to at least be able to do some much-needed catching up. Tara could use some sunshine in her life.

Grace was kind to those she got to know. Tara was not one of those people. Despite similar tastes in hair in high school, the two never made any kind of meaningful connection.

Jace was a fixture at the regular parties, but he kept out of trouble. He always seemed to have ladies on him, but Tara never understood it, and she lost touch after high school.

"Brent was a cool guy, for a football player. Thought he would have made it. Guess he had too much heart."
Tara and Brent got along very well, sharing a mutual disgust of bullies and bonding over efforts to curb it, even if Tara took a more direct approach than Brent did. Their relationship was strong enough that Tara teamed with Brent to take Teddy to junior prom. It was an enjoyable evening, unlike senior prom one year later. Still, with Brent staying in state for school, Tara did her best to keep up with his football career while up in Connecticut with Tessa. Now that Tara has returned to Florida, contact has been re-established with Brent, enough that while he is in the Orlando area, they will hang and work out together.

Tara was on friendly terms with Alex, but the two didn't cross paths very much. As such, they didn't really build any lasting connections past the end of high school.

Considering the shared friendships with Tessa and Willow, one would think that it would be natural for Amanda and Tara to be somewhat friendly. Nope. Tara's aggressive beat-em-up feminist style never seemed to gel with Amanda's prissy, head-of-the-school status, and as such the two avoided contact for the most part. Amanda's invitation to the reunion was the most she's ever said to Tara in one go. Tara's not looking forward to contact with the class president, although this tamed version of Tara might be more to her liking.
