Hey guys, I'm back. I'm still not up to 100% yet but my headache is finally subsiding a bit. Let me figure out where I was going for my next post (I'm seriously drawing a blank on it... ) and then I'll get a post up. I'm sorry guys for all the delay that's been happening and disappearing so often, I'm not usually like this. Hopefully we can get things on track and moving again.

Hopefully so.. for some reason all of my RPs have been dead

Sadly that's the way RPG works. From the years I've been here, a few things I've noticed is that:
-About a 1/4-1/2 of those that post their interest in the interest check will vanish after their initial post or not make it into the IC/OOC.
-A fourth of those that post a sheet either never post again or post a few IC posts before losing interest.
-Half of those that have been on the guild less than a week or two will disappear without a trace (although it's a bit hard now to tell who all is new since everyone from OldGuild had to start from scratch)
-The critical period for a roleplay is the first month or two in which most roleplays die.
- If you can get a solid core group to last after the first two months your success level greatly improves even if new people trickle in and other leave. The biggest killers after the first two months is stagnation and chain-quitting.

The numbers are a little different in Advanced (and I'm guessing Free, although I don't have much experience in that section) and sometimes you can get lucky and prove these stats wrong if you get the right group of people.

Oh really.. I was new when I posted my interest in this rp. I think I had only been here a week or a week and a half.

I am hoping that things pick up. I came from chatroom RP, IM RP, and a couple of other forums before I found myself here. Forum posting kind of drives me crazy because I am use to the fast paced posting of chatrooms.

I've been in roleplays in which a week would pass by without a problem before someone would post, a few times even a month or two would pass by before a post. I've never in a fast-paced roleplay such as chatrooms and such but as a slow typer I would feel like it would be hard to keep up for me. A few times I was working in piratepad/titanpad with a few other players to write out a collaborative post and that already hard for me, haha. If you can find a good group, maybe a few Free roleplays or even a 1x1(although if you're not interested in finding a romance based roleplay it can be difficult to find one) could help you out in wanting a faced paced roleplay. I like to meander between Casual, Advanced and 1x1 depending on the type of roleplay I'm looking for based on speed, length, etc.

I have thought about a 1x1 RP. I haven't really done one of those in a while. I like to RP with a group and get all the different personalities meshed together.

In all the forums that I have been on I haven't ever joined in on the Advanced RP. I think I could do it, I just haven't ever jumped in.

Yeah, I prefer groups over 1x1 and unlike most 1x1s, the ones I'm in often turns into me playing multiple main characters to make up for the group feel that I love, haha . In one 1x1, I have four different main characters. If you're ever interested in a 1x1, I'd be up for it.

Advanced RP takes a little more and takes longer for a round to go by but can be lots of fun. I've found that Advanced has a wide level range just as Casual does, if not sometime more but if you give enough time and thought in your post you should be fine.

Yay! Might look into it, but I'll need a couple days between me being busy and reading all the info. ^.^ Still, hope this picks up!

Alright, I've finished the TSP's (The Sierra Project) section done. All I have left is Jenn's and the Reformers. This post is going to be much longer than expected. With only one section done, it's already about 1285 words long and is almost as long as one of my full posts and we haven't even reached Saturday night in the IC yet. Haha, at least once we have the characters together and we have picked a side, you guys won't have to read my obnoxiously extra chunky posts. They'll be more reasonable in size.

Anyways, instead of Monday, I'm changing it to Saturday 11:30pm so that we can have about a week prior to everything happening as I said we would. The post after this coming one will be the post in which everything happens. I should have this post done tonight or Tuesday depending on how things go and my second one should be up during the weekend, although that can change depending on how the posts are going in the IC.

Sorry guys about the length. I tried to to make sure I didn't ramble on and condense it as much as I could but I still got a little carried away and created quite a read. Whoops.
