James "Jimmy" Reed

P R O F I L E
James considers himself a realist with a limitless cynical streak, and a dark, sarcastic wit having grown up alone on the streetss. He cares little for abstract ideals like patriotism or the greater good. On the outside he can come off as aloof with his duties and resentful of those who he sees as holding his leash. That is not to say he is unfriendly or doesn't value the lives of those around him. James cares deeply about the men and women who serve with him as he see them as the family he never had. He loves the AADF and the sense of belonging he feels and the debt both the AADF and Jessica Reed for helping him get all the documents required to enlist. He has a love for martial arts and tries in his own weird way to not be an ass to everyone he meets.


D A Y S - G O N E
At the age of 16 James was a homeless,cold,frighted,bitter young man that found himself on the street corner hoping one day whatever god may be to have something good happen. Years of living on the street and literally fighting for his next meal had worn down a young man who had yet to even hit his prime. As he sat there staring at the cement sidewalk, a recruiting flyer for the AADF happened to get blown right in front of him. Free food,housing, pay, clothes and the chance top have a life better then what he had. Almost sure he would be disqualified, he figured he would give it a shot. He was a sight, walking into the recruiters office dressed in worn out clothes, it was a miracle he wasn't booted out the second they saw him. After meeting with with captain Jessica Reed, either due to a need for recruits or due to actually wanting to give him a chance she took a special interest in the young man. over the next two years she help James get all the documentation required to enlist. On his 18th birthday she personally presented him the papers and had him sign on the dotted line as James Reed.
