Foliare Town

With a nod and a slight adjustment to his labcoat, Professor Cypress looked over the paperwork that his assistant had prepared for him. Mornings in Foliare Town tended to be fairly lax, which was the reason he had set up his laboratory here, but that didn't mean that this one was as every other was. No, today was the day when a bunch of new Pokemon Trainers would begin their journeys, and he had a job to give them their first push on their way.

Quite literally, in fact.

Quietly nodding to himself as he checked the materials that he had prepared—six Pokedexes, six Trainer Cards, and a set of Pokemon just in case—the Professor smiled and calmly took a seat at his desk.

"I hope I haven't forgotten anything..."

Rolling his shoulders and stretching his legs as he got off of the bus, Dante glanced around Foliare Town with a mild lack of interest. As far as 'first steps' went, it wasn't exactly the worst place to begin, but given that he had long since become accustomed to life in Septemane City, it was hard not to compare the two. The quiet, unassuming nature of the town made him feel restless—or maybe that was just the pre-journey excitement speaking. This would be his time—his chance to make a name for himself—and there was no way he would let anything get in his way.

With a shrug, the young man turned and glanced at the nearest map (and given how it was a bus station, one of those was but a given) before silently tracing the path to the Pokemon Laboratory with a finger. There seemed to be a few others who were also glancing at the map, it seemed, but given that he knew where to go, the rest didn't really matter.

"So, this is where it all begins, huh?" he asked out loud, slipping his hands into his jacket as he walked along the paved stone road. "Shouldn't be too hard to storm the League, at least."

His destination, a medium-sized white building that seemed comparatively out of place next to the quainter houses nearby, seemed to be buzzing with life even as it just barely came into view. The question of what the Professor there was like, though, was still yet to be answered.

So this was Foliare town, hm? It was quiet, far removed from the hustle and bustle of Septemane. Was the rest of the Cetare region this...easy going? She had seen such places in other regions when she had followed her parents on vacation occasionally, but this was nice. Such a relaxing place relatively close to home. Maybe she could get some reading done, or pickup on some more rustic cuisine to take back home. She squeezed the green pokemon cradled in her arms a bit tighter. Still, she was somewhat nervous. She was confident she would be fine, but being out here on her own was a little nerve wracking.

"Unooooow~"

"Ah...!" An odd round pokemon shaped suspiciously like an O interrupted her as she walked, nearly smacking into her face. "...Okky." She sighed, smiling faintly as the circular pokemon made an odd ethereal giggling noise before rubbing against her face.

"Sooolll!"

"Ah, sorry, Mint..." She lessened her grip on the other psychic type, rubbing the pokemon on top of its round body. Turning her head briefly towards Okky, Fran frowned lightly. "...where did you get that?"

"Nown?" The unown spun playfully, a small bag of Pokenolli hovering between the two of them. Fran furrowed her brow at the mischievous psychic type. She had told him to find a map of the area and lead her to the lab, but the chances he got into trouble along the way were quite high. Okky began hovering the treats in front of Solosis, earning a small glare from the other psychic type. "Nooown!~"

"Okky stop-"

"Sol!" Struggling free of her trainers grip, Solosis snatched the treats from Unown, landing on the ground with a smug chuckle before rolling off down the sidewalk.

"Unown!" Not to let the stealer of his stolen treats get away, Okky chased after. Unfortunately, the two didn't get very far in the streets before Solosis slammed into the back of some other trainer, spilling Pokenolli all over him and sending the small round pokemon bouncing off into some nearby bushes while Okky laughed.

The water trainer splashs in!

@Rune_Alchemist@PKMNB0Y

"Nie Nie!"
"Corso-la-la~"

The water/poison pokemon would yell as it tried to catch up with a rather jolly pink-coral pokemon. Both were out of their pokeballs because both wanted to see Foliare town in full. That and they couldn't hang out together inside their balls could they? Still, if they were running around so haphazardly accidents were bound to happen if their trainer let the two pokemon get too wild.

"Now now you two your gonna trip someone up." Europa said as she held onto her straw hat, gently swerving around a trainer and their vulpix, following her two water-type pokemon. She was already missing the unique air that water vapour gave and thus it was making her a bit grumpy to be stuck inside a town that didn't even have a lake or something for her to be able to put her Wailmer and Wishiwashi in!

It was then all three of this ragtag group heard that resounding crash as a trainer bumped into another spilling a mess of food. Of which both of her pokemon stopped and sniffed due to their own curiosity. Europa of course was walking over to them, for one she didn't want any trouble so she was probably going to pull them away... but there was also that inborne curiosity, like a diver exploring the depths of the ocean. So she soon she was just standing and watching rather close, obviously her stares wouldn't be very subtle at all, as her own pokemon would be making noise around the feet of the two trainers... that and well.

"La?" "Mar?" The two pokemon both said in confusion at the Unown.

Dante Giordano

The walk towards the laboratory was, for the most part, fairly uneventful—or, at the very least, that was how Dante had expected it to play out. With his attention focused on getting to his destination, the young man was caught well off guard by someone bumping into him. It wasn't exactly much of an impact, per se, but it had enough weight behind it to cause him to stumble for a moment, the sole Pokeball at his waist shaking about as he steadied himself.

There was a brief pause as Dante slowed to a stop before turning around to see the cause of the incident; upon seeing the Pokennoli scattered about on the ground, though, he quickly turned his head around to glance at his jacket.

A jacket that, as it turned out, was now covered in the things.

With a glance at the apparent culprit—an Unown, by the looks of things—Dante sighed before taking off the unfortunate "victim" of the incident and responded in turn with a glare.

"Didn't your Trainer teach you how to act in public?" he asked, gesturing towards the mess that had been made on the ground and on his clothing as he continued. "Or are you just a freshly hatched Pokemon, with no clue on how to do so in the first place?"

In a place like this, where Unown didn't even exist in the wild, there had to be a Trainer nearby; he could turn his irritation towards them afterwards. Well, that or find a place to clean off his jacket before the stains set in. One or the other.
