You've been summoned to another world!

You always knew you were the main character of a story not yet written, and you finally have the chance to prove it.

With your new incredibly overpowered abilities, you set off on your adventure.

But what's this?

There're four other people here, and they're all equally as overpowered and main character-like as you!

Do you have what it takes to prove you're the real main character?!
Oh, and maybe you'll help.... save... the... world... too?

Elthron

The world our heroes will be embarking on is the world of Elthron. Elthron is a world like many others, with a pantheon of Gods, humans, elves, beastmen, furry beastmen, less furry beastmen, basically just humans with desirable animal traits beastmen, no slavery or anything because it's not really necessary and I just wanna get that out of the way real quick. What they do have though is a lot of problems on their hands.

Demons and stuff are rising up. There's not just one demon lord, there's FOUR! And that's on top of that there's also four ancient dragons! Four stones of power! Which have been stolen. The Sacred Relics are okay though. Maybe they're about to see some use. Or some more use.

The Gods looking down on Elthron have only had a limited ability to intervene, but they've been trying to send heroes imbued with powers for a while now and it's all just been proven to be too much. But now, something's changed. Someone spilled some milk on the summoning formula and now the Gods realize they can sacrifice a greater portion of their power.

Now they can summon a real hero to help solve their problems and get back on track as far as their plan to sit back and have things go good without having to do anything. But is it really going to go as they planned? Well no, but actually yes. Five heroes have been summoned with the full power of the one they were hoping for.

Can they work together and save the world? We're going to find out!

Details

As was stated in the premise, unfortunately I can only take around five of you for this RP. I recognized from the outset that this premise doesn't support a large amount of players. It would greatly from focused group dynamics, and will likely require a lower amount of players to be fun. The goal of this RP is to have fun in the end, so while it will be a structured experience, it has that structure to make sure things operate smoothly and in an enjoyable manner, as you'll see below.

Main character archetype - the primary character creation element of this RP. You'll choose a popular, or at least recognizable, or basically just any type of established isekai main character to play as for this RP. The type of isekai or anime protagonist your character is may inform their powers, and will also affect their group dynamics and how they choose to present themselves as a Main Character. The trope-ier, the better. Some examples are listed below;

  • Lone Wolf(Emo) - I don't trust anybody, except for when I do. I don't play well with others, except for when it turns out I'm exactly the right person and class for the job because that's how the story usually goes, you know, like, you'd want a balanced team. Except for when people get summoned by 'accident' and get betrayed and called trash in the first 20 minutes of getting summoned. Like… ??? Anyway, no one understands me. oVo
  • Bright Protag(Friendship) - I am a soft buoy, I only want good things for me and my friends, and my childhood friend. I only have one childhood friend because you can only have one childhood friend in total. I have the power to protect them from just about anything except for when there's someone stronger than me. Except I'm actually stronger than them because I just have to use my powers in a different way. No I will not be taking questions. No tears in this playthrough pls. :)))))))

Sub character archetype - auxiliary character traits which can serve to complement your main archetype, or spice things up a bit in general. They're similar to main character archetypes in the sense that they define your character, but they also offer tangible RP benefits depending on the archetype you choose. I'll provide some examples below, but you can come up with your own. Choose one only.

  • Tsukkomi - The dynamic art of playing the straight man in ridiculous situations. You get to take a verbal action immediately after a terrible joke from an ally, regardless of your initiative. You also get to automatically land a slap, noogie, or any other comedic physical action as a Tsukkomi after building up enough Tsukkomi meter after consecutive Tsukkomi(tsukkomis?) on the same ally.
  • Tsundere - The dere is inevitable. A Tsundere often puts up a cold exterior which eventually gives way to a warm interior. Acting cold towards others builds up a 'Tsun' gauge. Depending on how much Tsun gauge is built up, acting 'dere' will expend the Tsun gauge and disrupt any other ally's main character potential for a short time, unless it happens to be a romantic situation in which nothing happens.
  • Kuudere - This character is as cool as a cucumber, all year round. Acting cool gives a passive bonus to initiative except for when it doesn't. Because it's cool to be the first one to act, but it's also cool to be just late enough to save the day. Similar to Tsundere, acting cool builds up a Kuu gauge, and acting dere expends it to disrupt an ally's main character power.

Power Restrictions - there's not gonna be that many because I want you to be overpowered. Still though, I'm gonna say no omnipotence, omniscience, or that kinda stuff. It'd just kind of be a pain in the ass to deal with. I would say no full altering of reality but I could be convinced for a little bit of reality altering? I mean kind of the nature of a lot of the popular ones in isekai stories are reality altering, so…

You should all probably be overpowered but with a limit is basically what I'm saying.

Equipment - If you wanna have like a sacred sword, or like demon sword and whatnot then I'll probably say you can have it. Just be warned though, there'd be a lot of leeway to play around with items and that kind of stuff in the actual RP. If you want to do something Gilgamesh style then sure, that'd be fine. As long as it's to do with your powers, then I'll probably be fine with it.

More details about stats and whatnot and the impact they'll have in this RP are listed below, but they warrant their own little section so here we go.

Posting

Posting is going to have a slightly different structure here which I'm still sort of smoothing out in my head. I'll have to see how it goes after trying it out, but basically it's going to go something like this;

The adventure begins with a little bit of free-posting. A little bit of time needs to pass and all characters need to arrive in the other world. I'll try to keep it short for the sake of our pacing, and I'll keep it short by cutting us off with an encounter!

We start an encounter by rolling Initiative! I'll likely roll a d20 or you'll roll the d20, to determine which character gets to act first when a sudden situation arises. Some characters may have initiative bonuses on their sheet, this is where it comes in handy. Acting first means you have a higher chance of scoring more Screen Time, but that's not always the case!

Each post may only take up a certain amount of chronological time depending on your Main Character Type. Screen Time is very important, since having more Screen Time directly correlates to more Main Character Power! But it's important to note Screen Time does not always correlate to chronological time.

Chronologically, a character may have the time to put in one good strike as the initial blow after winning initiative, maybe around 30 seconds to about a minute. But in Screen Time, that could take dozens of seconds, or even several minutes!

The goal of an encounter is to amass as much Impact and as much Screen Time as possible! Impact applies to any action which has a real effect on the real world. You can have as much screen time as you'd like, but if you're not making a real impact with it then you're not really getting anything out if it!

A character could have a variety of bonuses of maluses to their Screen Time, Impact, and Initiative, or even all of the above! For example, an edgy character would get a bonus to Screen Time because of their increased likelihood to launch into brooding monologues which just can't be stopped! But all that time monologuing leaves less time to leave an Impact! That's why it's important to have a well balanced character, or have a specific game plan to achieve victory!

Impact can mean emotional stingers as well as other physical outcomes, such as slaying dragons or just moving the conversation along. The goal is to gain as much Main Character Power as possible. The winner gets to have the Main Character title for a short while!

Does that title really do anything? Probably not? But you can rub it in other characters' faces if you'd like.

Might take me a bit to get a real understanding of the screen time and the like, but I think I could manage it. Count me in.

Also, just reposting this here for the whole approval phase.

@RoflsMazoy Sorry but I'm going to pull back my interest as well. Even if the idea in general is nice, this combat/posting system doesn't mesh with my tastes.

See ya.

@JrVader @TheMushroomLord glad to see you two, and [ZAVAZggg] as well. Thanks for still being here, but I think numbers are gonna be a bit of a problem now :(

I think I will have a way to fill it out though. There are a couple people I could ask but I'll wait a bit on whether to call them up or not.
