An explosion racked the sector house.
A figure stepped through the new hole in the side of the structure. "You can't be here." The Lantern Inside said, pointing their fist at the intruder. "Who is going to stop me?" The intruder said calmly. "You?" He asked before chuckling to himself. A green blast flashed across the room. The lantern lowered his arm, after the blast. Thinking the threat passed. However, the chucking started up again. "You think that can stop me." The Lantern shocked, whipped their arm back up, forming chains around the intruder. "No, you can't." The intruder shrugged off the chains. Shattering them like they weren't even there. "I know your Guardians will hear this. The intruder spoke, referring to the security recording that the Guardians were showing the four lanterns. "Gaurdians of the Universe." The intruder spoke, ignoring the lantern before him, as they tried to rain construct attacks onto the intruder. "We, the Risen Demons are coming for you, and your Corps.

With that, the security hologram ended. The Guardians looking down on the four Green Lanterns they had summoned. "As you can see, Ben, Elderayne, Ona, Dorg, this threat is grave." One of the Guardians spoke. "Such a threat cannot go unanswered." Another spoke. "You four have been selected to investigate these, Risen Demons." The stakes were high. Should the four lanterns fail to stop the Risen Demons, an attack on Oa would be imminent. Something the Guardians were not willing to risk. "You four will go to Sector 3595. Investigate what has happened there. Find out how to stop these new threats. Your sectors will be protected, and the lethal force limiters on your rings removed. These Risen Demons must be stopped at all costs."

Dorg was flabbergasted to say the least. He was under the impression that they were wielding a one man army on their fingers but this video was planting a few cracks in his faith. With his arms held behind his back, Dorg adressed the Guardians.

"Do we have any inclination as to why these Risen Demons are able to shrug off our ring's powers? I mean I'm more than willing to take my own shot at these guys but if we're going into a war with wooden stick I would at least like to know what our going theories are on these guys." Dorg asked, looking at his associates as he finished his two cents. Ever since a young age Dorg hated not getting all the information available and going up against the Risen Demons was more than a little frightening if their one trump card on criminals didn't do a thing.

New or not, Dan had to earn his stripes somehow and he could already see from afar that the Guardians were plotting out a mission course for a select few Lanterns. He was tired of sitting idly by, doing training exercises and acting like a junior member of the club. It was time to step up. His body exuded an emerald glow as he floated through the air silently, joining the amassed officers. "Ben," he called out on approach, addressing the intergalactic doppelganger, "Let me tag in. I'm ready," he declared sternly. Despite Ben's innate ability to shapeshift into copies of other people, a characteristic of his race, there was no way he could replicate the look of cold determination in Dan's eyes. Dan refused to be overlooked anymore. With an awkward nod, Ben excused himself and left, leaving Dan in his place.

"I believe I caught most of it," he said of the mission briefing, looking to the other three Lanterns. "Risen Demons, promised chaos, yadda yadda." The summary was oversimplified but seemingly accurate. Dan looked to one of the other members that he greatly admired. Incredibly wise and resilient, he seemed like the logical source for a potential solution. "Dorg, whatcha thinking?" He asked, his southern drawl accenting his voice. Taking on these 'Risen Demons' was going to take strategy and Dorg's wits were rivaled by few.

Dan listened to Dorg's questions and shrugged.

The Guardians nodded at the replacement. Humans had traditionally had a good track record within the Corps, so having one on the team shouldn't hurt, even if he was a bit green. "As far as we can tell, that armour seems to possess a similar output as your rings." A Guardian spoke. "However, instead of forming constructs, it seems to be geared towards doing the opposite." Ona rubbed his chin. This plan surely sounded like it wasn't going to work. The security footage they just saw showed that their construcs weren't going to be enough. Then they were told that the armour of their enemy seemingly countered their only weapons. "They might be immune to your rings, but the scans look like they may be vulnerable to conventional weaponry. The defensive capabilities seem aligned to defending against the green light of willpower." Ona clued onto what they were hinting at. "You will learn to not rely on your rings. At least not on this specific opponent." The Guardian elaborated. "Go now. Strids, is a weapon dealer. We have offered him a reduced sentence if he supplied you with alternative munitions for this mission. He can get just about anything short of a power ring."

Ona was sceptical. He had grown used to using his ring, and now he had to incorporate a new weapon into his arsenal. One that wouldn't feel as natural as a construct. He turned to see an alien entering the hall. He nodded, recognising the being as the Weapon Dealer the Guardian's spoke of.

Dan's eyebrows went up as he traded glances with Ona. Having still been new to the corps, he felt like he might have a little advantage here as he was still learning how best to use his ring. Now they had a missions where they would need to go back to using ol' reliable weapons that existed with out without the precise presence of Will.

He looked at the weapons vendor and gave a small upward nod before asking, "What kinda firepower do you have that'll fit these?" He then displayed his two hands, twiddling his fingers in excited anticipation.

Elderayne watched as threats were made and Lanterns were killed. "Such power in just their defense." The Guardians began their explanation and Elderayne's eyes grew wide as their limiters were removed. Things truly were dire if they were allowed to be judge, jury, and executioner in this matter. Elderayne wasnt like most Lanterns though he preached peace like the rest of them he had no problem cutting loose and killing of the need arose. Many times he had been called in and questioned on his actions. Each time he proved himself just as able with words as he was with his ring. As they brought in the alien arms dealer Elderayne smiled ryley.

"Tell me prisoner can you provide me with a Thunderbrand and Aegis? If so then I'll actually be impressed. If you d9nt know what that is a Thunderbrand is a sword fires electricity at a range and the Aegis is a shield that extends and energy barrier." These things weren't terribly hard to find but were fairly rare and were things Elderayne always wanted to own.
