Japanese Investment Group nearing deal on Future Stadium Construction

Yokohama based Investment group, Stonebridge Holdings, is nearing an agreement with City Hall and Sol City property owners on future development of The Run and Light Lane in the City's northwestern core. Representatives from Union Pacific have also been in talks with city planners on the proposed site regarding the railway giant’s northern yard in Sol and the effects on traffic along the railway’s properties in the proposed site of the new sports stadium. With all of these major players in place, as well as visiting representatives from Major League Baseball as well as the NBA, the sale and acquisition could likely go down as the most lucrative in Sol City history.

However not all residents are happy. It’s been no secret for a long time, there remains a great deal of contention among locals about “losing” the Run and Light Lane to restructuring, though the deal and future addition of at least one more major sports team to the city would be nothing short of an economic bonanza for Sol. City Hall contends that planning will still be able to incorporate the “best of” the Run and Light Lane into the future designs, though it’s also no secret the Mayor’s Office as well as many members of City Council would love to end their respective terms with a historic deal for the city’s future despite the paving away of much of “Old Sol” to antiquity.

Likewise, Stonebridge finds itself in a unique position to gain an important foothold in their United States expansion. While no stranger to overseas imports, the Japanese firm’s move into downtown represents a major investment in Sol. There is still no word on a lease partner for naming of the future complex, but Starbank and Millenium are the most logical contenders for naming the facility. Millenium Stadium certainly has a pleasant ring to it. We will continue following this story closely as it appears to be rapidly materializing.

Pineapple Pizza Sparks Mass Brawl

Italian family visiting America sparked a mass brawl after a disagreement over pineapple as a pizza topping and which base is traditional.

In an interesting news item, a visiting Italian family of plumbers started a mini-riot over Pizza. Those arrested included Mario Calzoni, Peach Calzoni his spouse, brothers Luigi, Wario and Michael along with respective spouses Daisey, Bowesette and Jane Calzoni. The dispute escalated over a Pizza order at Toad's Pizzeria on Blue Shell road around 9:30 PM. This soon escalated and manager Alesandro Gomba the 3rd attempted to intervene but only sparked further discord and dispute.

We were unable to get a quote as the Calzoni family were held and fined for the event by a judge the following afternoon. They were deported by Warp Pipe Airlines the evening with the judge giving a stern warning about violence however much the Pizza was deemed culturally offensive. "Whilst I acknowledge the aggravation, the behavior was unacceptable for civilized, grown adults, as your first offence you shall be deported and fined... Life is not a video game. There are consequences."

Though we could get no answer from the Calzoni family or what sparked such an aggressive response, Gomba the 3rd gave us a short meeting while serving up a delicious breakfast pizza."It was madness, the flowers ended up on fire and several pizzas ended up on the ceiling tiles, luckily there were no major injuries or damage and we managed to reopen after a tidy up and sending my son up a ladder to remove the various pizza based projectiles-Now. Would you like that deep pan, stuffed crust or thin n crispy? "

Stuffed crust thankyou, Mr. Gomba if I do say so myself. Pineapple on Pizza, tweet us to let us know your thoughts and opinions on favorite pizzas on our official poll.

Marinalia Romus Olympus "Mali" & Victoria Darya Romus "Vika"

Tuesday - Sol City Hospital - Hephaestus Manor -

Taco Tuesday

Marinalia
Marinalia had spent many hours sorting out what Xia would need, lawyers, Doctors, nurses, police and taken up a good chunk of her weekend with the large plate her mum had handed her though. Determined to do right by her girlfriend and also her mum had been difficult but a sense of pride sorting things out. It was a lot of juggling but she had not dropped the ball.

Getting in contact with Paige was the easy part, getting actions and real life results would be a lot harder, even with her lawyers paving the road ahead smoother regarding some other aspects.

Luckily she already had the week off booked but her plans for the holiday had definitely changed a fair bit. An original idea to perhaps try and convince her girlfriend into a horse riding lesson at Atlas Mountains newbie trail. Rather gentle compared to her normal route but she hoped to lure her into further adventures. Lazy mornings, lunches, little dates, just the stuff they had missed from the holiday im the busy Sol City rush.

Tuesday had brought a little tired but rather happy Marlin as Xia was released into her care and had managed to at least move her basic essentials to the Manor from her apartment, or at least what was left and Carlo had been able to replace alongside Marlin. It was not perfect but she had done her best to make good from a rather bad job. Proper food, a comfy bed and alot more privacy at home. Walking out, she gently wrapped an arm around her girlfriend as they walked out, she had a long road to recover fully but was going to help her along it.

...

Offering a helping hand down from the Land rover if she needed it parked up on the drive, heavy gates locked behind, and all the alarms, cameras and flood lights had been set to cover as much as possible. Finally home, well part of her however much the situation hoped that it became home home... That overly forward part had been particularly active recently having been forced to realise what she might have lost. The rather scary amount of medicines and appointments still attested to that coming up over next few months. "Home Xia, Finally, traffic was a pain, you ok to get down?

I know this week has not exactly gone as planned but hey, il try to make the best of it. I still have you, so I'm already not doing too bad. "
However worried she was determined to least try and make the best of it, it just was too hard to be close to the Caribbean woman and not pick up some of her infectious drive and personality. "Key, you want to do the honours?" Handing her own Key to the front door, it was a tiny thing but important. This was her home now, she might be in Marlins care as such, but some things were just important to do properly regardless.

Leaving things open, if Xia wanted to go out if she felt up to it that was fine, if she just wanted to chill in the garden or curl up for a nap that was perfectly fine. Victoria had visited the hospital too, though her experiences made her dislike the buildings on principle to check up. It seemed Xia was kind of part of the family in a sense, Marlin was rather protective of her girlfriend right now.

Xias mum, that was one meeting a marlin was a little nervous about, had she done enough? Had she done things correctly? Much as she liked the woman, this was her daughter she was looking after! Grown up or not, parents tended to be protective. What if she met Maria? Marlin could only imagine what the two would be like together.

Marinalia Romus Olympus "Mali" & Victoria Darya Romus "Vika"

Tuesday - Sol City Hospital - Hephaestus Manor - Sol City

Taco Tuesday

Victoria
Victoria had definitely had a rather rough weekend. Ryan's decision, note and the whole leaving like he did was just plain confusing. Like really, why did everything have to be so damn confusing?

Leaving it for the weekend, she needed time to actually work things out and between Marlins' situation and her rather more pressing problems. It was nice to see Xia awake and least recovering, knowing and seeing how Marlin and Xia acted and treated each other were two very different aspects. Any doubts she had about them were pretty well gone. High pressure situations tended to bring out the worst or best of people and this one definitely had not fallen apart under the strain.

Her work was rather busy that Monday, a rather long day sorting out several clients codes and getting them fully set up with the radio encryption software. The frustration had been magnified by a less than tech minded client who took several attempts to get the system going properly. The money and promise of more sales did however keep her from snapping though had it not been for the womb dweller a rather large glass of wine slash bottle that evening to destress. Victoria had to settle for triple chocolate fudge cake, cream and syrup in a bowl that rivaled her sisters taste in coffees.

...

Tuesday came round far faster than could be beloved, did time have it in for her along with whatever rest of the fates. Texting Ryan a silly article about a fight over Pizza choices, a small way to try and see how he reacted. What did he really want and why did he really kiss her? Like really? Why truly did everything happen so?

"Hi, you leave me rather confused. Leaving in the middle of the night. Is it the tail lol. I find it quite cuddly myself... Still. Leaving in middle of night... It not exactly a good feeling.

Xia is awake and getting out of the hospital, Marlins alot happier. You owe me breakfast one day though :)

VDR x"

Victoria sent a quick message with the silly news story about the Italian family starting a brawl over Pizza. It was fun and also lighter hearted and helped soften things. Plus. Mario.. Luigi, Gombas. Who even named their children so or decided to brawl over pineapples... Really... It was... Unique to say the least.

...

Deciding that she needed some fresh air and to get a walk, or least drive and a walk... Either way worked. Grabbing her bag, a light coat to keep warm and finding some boots to go with her jeans. Keeping it fairly simple. Bothering with a little make up, being so pale had proved interesting to say least with foundation.

Taking a walk out, she headed into the city, the sun was out and the weather was warm for Sol city. Sunglasses on, it was about lunch time and a tad busy for her, but she really wanted to get some fresh air. "Hope your OK, let me know if you need any help.

VDR X"

Popping a quick text to her friend, after all that had happened, it was only fair to offer even if it was just collecting take out sushi for her. Leaning on her cane for a little, Corona Park was slowly coming to life in the spring weather, flowers, pollen and trees were slowly turning round to their glory. Spring was a favourite of Victoria's as it was not too cold, not too hot, just right.

Least she was mostly fully mobile still to enjoy it, the city was coming to life after its winter sleepy hibernation.

Joel Nicolosi

The shop was full at Apex Designs, a little bit like old times, Joel thought as he made his way around lifting his arms and leaning back slightly to negotiate his way around a high spoiler. Unlike the past however, none of the cars inside belonged to customers. In the air, on the lift was his daily driving Celica, in front on the floor parked at an angle was the GTR and pointing nose-out towards the street was the 300. He made his way alongside of it and pushed the winning trophy from the Vineyard Rally out of the way with his foot. It was crowded, but he’d reached a slick deal with Sol City Nissan to display the race-winning 300 in their showroom while he worked out some more space. He handed a bottle of Guiness to Ryan Woods whose Mustang sat halfway nose-in with the hood up.

It felt good to be home doing things in some semblance of how business once operated at Apex Designs. The location had become more of a Southside novelty than a shop, not that he longed for the past, but the simplicity of it was almost comical as he considered how much of a turn his life and career had actually taken in a surprisingly short amount of time. After a few spirited rounds around the block, he had a pretty decent idea of what was causing the trouble. He took a long drink while his freehand traced over the spark plug wires on both cylinder banks. In the back of the shop the stereo belted out tunes the same as always while the smell of steaks on the grill filled the whole shop. The outside curb was just as crowded with Sio’s Corvette and his Jeep parked with two of it’s big tires up on the sidewalk. It was still comfortably warm as the evening sun was setting over the old streets with an explosion of orange in the sky. Off in the distance the regular evening freight train horn sounded. He took another drink and pulled one of the plug boots out of the massive engine.

Here’s your problem.” He said casually pointing the wire at Ryan for him to see. “Somebody likes to stomp the gas, huh?” He didn’t anticipate the young chef to understand the reference. “It’s just carbon track,” He said with a shrug, “Pretty normal, happens sometimes especially on these older cars, we just need to replace your plugs and wires.” Leaning back over the engine bay, he plugged the boot securely back in it’s socket. “It’ll be safe to drive until we get your parts, just stay away from the drag strip.”

He glanced over towards Siobhan, tending to dinner at the grill, not the least bit concerned their guest was a professional chef. “You should hang around.” He said to Ryan. “We’re expecting a little bit of company later, plenty of food,” He saw her glance up and gave a wink. “We do like’em rare around here though, and nobody critiques the chef other than me.”

>>Vika, though text@PrinceAlexus Siobahn, and her cooking @Almalthia Joel, over a Guiness and some pesky carbon deposit @Pilatus

The weekend came and went. After the rather odd night over at the Old Starboard and then the Olympus house, Ryan needed some time to clear his head. And what better place to do that than his restaurant? They're not yet open from their seasonal sabbatical, but thew time is drawing nearer with each passing moment.

Monday, Ryan spent nearly the entire day in his empty establishment. Contemplating the direction in which to take his restaurant. Would he reinvent himself? Would he try to introduce some more unexpected ingredients to the mix? Would he start a new restaurant all together? So many options presented themselves to him, yet he cannot set his mind on any one of them. Through the kitchen speaker system, Ryan had on some easy going jazz tunes, while he quietly polished his knives. His focus towards his craft was always intense, yet they carried a sense of disdain, as if he has spent all of his life's joy already.

Setting down his tools, he wiped away the thin sheen of sweat from his forehead, letting out a drawn sigh along the way. Glancing at the atomically accurate clock, Ryan nodded to himself as he tidied up and prepared to leave. Tucking his knives back into their lacquered case, the quiet man turned and turned off the electronics before heading out. Clipping on his helmet, he knew he had an appointment with Joel the next day so he made his next destination the rented garage space where he parked his cars. Upon arrival, he traded his typical Vespa for the Mustang that needed work. With a turn of the key, the machine roared to life. With one or two spirited pumps of the gas pedal, Ryan put the car into gear and drove off into the night.

The next morning, Ryan did his best to look like he would fit in at a garage. Dark denim, plain t-shirt and light coat for the weather. Driving his car over to Apex Designs, his mind was unusually clear. At stop lights, he would often just look up into the sky, pondering about everything and nothing. To be honest, Ryan might even have been a little more aggressive while driving than his usual self.

While on his way over, he receives a text message. Vika. Not surprising. Ryan held off on responding until he reached where he was going. Aggressive driving or not, Ryan refuses to text and drive. In any case, Ryan reached his destination and parked his car as directed. "Good afternoon Joel, Siobahn." He said, given the duo a small nod. Taking the bottle of Guinness, he took a small sip from it as it was opened. Taking in the sights, sounds, and smells, Ryan could feel his spirits lifting and worrying slowly disappearing. All the variety of vehicles around the shop is giving him some rather expensive ideas, Ryan chuckled inwardly.

As Joel pointed out what the issue was, Ryan chuckled. "Well, if it is between going fast or being passive, I think I'll take the former." Ryan said, looking into the engine bay before Joel closed it up. "I'll be sure to keep that in mind. Matter of fact, can I just leave it here with you while its being worked on? Given the fact that it may or may not be safe?" Ryan said. At the mention of staying a while, and food, Ryan's expression shifted slightly. Looking over towards the same direction as Joel, he noticed that Siobahn was tending to some steaks. "I would be delighted to stay. I'll never turn down a good steak. And no. This isn't my restaurant. I don't criticize other's cooking. I simply appreciate the offer of food and company"

Marinalia Romus Olympus "Mali" & Victoria Darya Romus "Vika"

Tuesday - Hephaestus Manor - Sol City - Luna Sports Centre

Taco Tuesday

Victoria
Victoria walk was rather quiet, her phone was not buzzing up a storm for once, Ryan had not replied to any of the messages but he had left her confused. Was he confused? Because his actions at the old starboard where anything but? He was one opening the door, now he scared to go through it?

Everything was too damned strange... Leaning on her cane, the ornate blue snowflake design was rather unique. That and its concealed surprise, it was a little tricky to use but the surprise would be a rather effective deterrent.

Heading to find a snack, a coffee, anything that would keep her mind off things and distract from the worst of situations that were plaguing her. Making a spur of a moment choice, and heading back to grab a bag. Luna Sports it is! That place definitely had an interesting history for the sisters. One in particular for sure. Gentle Yoga was allowed.. . That cleared your head? Worth a try.

Hitting the gas a little harder than normal greeted by the powerful roar of the V12 engine jumping off the line and feeling a small push into the back of her seat. OK. She could see why people like driving fast cars however much the sport was a tad too dangerous for one to be comfortable doing it. They looked good from afar. Arriving at Luna sports early and finding a space pretty easily, Marlin would be home from hospital pretty soon? The couple deserved their private moment, she was rather emotional when the news came Xia was well enough to come home.

...

"And breathe, now slowly sit up and relax, no rush. Slowly we need to getting kicked out.'' It was definitely a soothing distraction, something entirely different to concentrate on and the list of things she had to avoid were quite extensive. Granted it was mostly just basic breathing and simple Stretching, they did not let her do much bar that for safety but it still was nice to get some exercise and concentrate on, well not concentrate on things for a while and destress calmly forgetting her troubles.

For the first time in a fair while she had a clear head, at least for an hour. Perhaps she should borrow that book Marlin had about, even if she just sat in the garden and had a half hour to get away from everything and everyone.

There was not much she could do about a lot of things, her natural drive was to worry but, everything had so spiraled beyond her control.

...

A little help up, it felt annoying but she needed it after being sat down for most of it, pushing herself up properly had proved a challenge on the soft matting surfaces. Wandering by the entrance, the smoothie bar served a light lunch that was fairly healthy most of the day. Pulling on her dark warm coat despite the warmth, it felt safer to be wrapped up, no one could quite tell how small Victoria was. She was rather on the bad side of thin, the unhealthy side. "One smoothie, Mango with extra Rasberry, one of your energy boost smoothies please. Oh and number 3 side please.

Thanks, can you bring it over to my table."
Victoria was glad for a little help, balancing several items one handed was a little tricky. One handed was rather difficult to do anything even if you had full balance admitly. If only Ryan would make sense life would be easier...

Hopefully trouble would not have followed her here, seriously she was rather a magnet for trouble! Maybe some of it was self caused but seriously how much trouble could you end up having in one city as one person?

Paige Kennedy

Paige sat quietly, legs crossed. Her converse sneaker bobbed as she waited patiently. Her figure, clad in one of her favorite white long sleeve shirts over jeans, sat smartly in one of Manami’s posh guest chairs. It was extremely comfortable and she thought she looked rather regal in it with her hair down and her arms relaxed on the rests. They had rearranged the furniture slightly and she had a clear view of the main living space and the corridor that entered from the doorway.

God this chair is comfortable She thought to herself. Maybe it’s not too late to think about a different career. She glanced towards a small ornate mirror on the other side of the room catching an off-angle glimpse of herself. Ugh, no, we’re too ooooooold a whiny voice in the back of her mind chimed. She sighed a little at the thought and briefly examined a few strands of blonde in her fingers. The ends were frayed and uneven and she frowned a little before letting them drop back down to her shoulder. She couldn’t remember the last time she had really got her hair done and it needed it badly. It wont be too much longer. One voice said solemnly. Her eyes lifted up from the sound of a knock at the door. This should be fun at least.

Just like she had figured, it was like shooting fish in a barrel for Tao to get the security camera footage from Saturday night. He had basically scoffed at the request, considering it “beneath” his talents, but she had just as easily convinced him to acquiesce. Within the footage, they were able to identify the individual who’d attempted to force his way into the apartment.

What was a bit of mystery was how he had managed to get a working keycard, granted there were several plausible methods, none of that was going to matter anymore very soon. It was with some surprise that she found Manami willing to take on the much more efficient method of dealing with her overly obsessed fan, but Paige could sense some caged need for independence in the girl despite her nervousness. With some crafty wording, they had managed to convince the man that he had only frightened Manami by showing up unexpectedly and that she was actually grateful to have such a caring and devoted fan. Why not a nice date? Or she could even cook for him. He was like clay in her hand at that point. It was all arranged over text. He could even keep the keycard he had made to let himself in at the appointed time.

The footsteps walked evenly down the corridor into the open foyer where Manami’s kitchen and living space combined. There was no slowness in the movement and Paige knew he had been in there before when Manami wasn’t home. It disgusted her. Everything was familiar. There was no sense of wonderment in his step. He was getting what he felt he deserved, however his victorious grin faded quickly when he turned to find Paige waiting alone.

“Who the hell are you?” He said with more than a modicum of surprised disgust.

“Hello, Jerome.... Oh I’m just a friend of Manami’s. She’s getting ready. It’ll just be a few minutes” Paige said, looking at him with an easy smile. She glanced him up and down briefly. Just as instructed, he arrived in his most formal attire which constituted an aged suit that was noticeably too big for him and so stiff it appeared to have lived in a closet for years. His regularly unkempt hair was slicked down over his skull with a generous amount of styling gel and his slightly overweight face was red from being recently shaved. Overall he looked something like a cross between prom date and used-car salesman. However, Paige’s eyes brightened slightly at what was tucked under his arm. Also, as instructed, he brought with him the most recent copy of the Yellow Pages. The final printing. Crisp and new, still with a glossy sheen on the cover. “Oh, you did good.” She said, standing up and walking over slowly. The man’s apprehension seemed to fade into unease as she approached. Her green eyes had a near paralyzing glance like he’d never seen. She was much different than Manami. Not sweet and cute, but predatory, like some wild animal. With no resistance, she gently slid the phonebook from underneath his arm and let the pages roll under her thumb before glancing back up at his confused face. “She’s going to be very happy with this…”

Milo Ventri

Sploosh.

Milo closed the reel on his fishing rod, the water a bit choppy by the shop, the wooden sign of the Final Round Armory swaying behind him up the bank. Milo wondered at this point whether or not he was actually going to catch anything today as it was, he had been out there since dawn, but as of now, close to noon, he has lost most of the good bait he brought and has caught nothing good.

"For heavens sake.... How can I live by the damned ocean and still never catch anything."

Milo just sat shaking his head as he waited for the line to tug, only interrupted when he felt his cell vibrating in his pocket. Milo pulls out the phone and answers without even looking to see who it was, assuming it must be Paige calling for him.

"Please tell me you aren't in a rush, I just set my line." He smirked figuring that would ruffle a feather or two, however the voice on the other end of the line set him up straight as it came though.

"Wow, fishing, classic. You know, if I was Paige, who I assume you figured this was, I would probably tell you to get off your ass and put that hillbilly truck in gear.... But I'm not so what's biting." The feminine voice chimed as Milo relaxed himself and chuckled at the retort. His ex Ana, and Paiges friend, she had only recently began talking to Milo again.

"First off, I know I told you I upgraded my truck, and second, I haven't even caught a cold." Milo sat there chit chatting for a bit, it must be morning back in Delta where she is. "Don't you have work or something, shouldn't you be getting ready?"

"Yeah I suppose, couldn't help but give you a ribbing, it's always too easy. Tell Paige I love her. okay?"

"Maybe, if I feel like it." Milo lit a cigarette, as he tried to handle the rod, the phone and the lighter. Just as he is about to say something further, he feels a hard tug on the line, and tries to jerk at the fish. "Aww Hell!" He pulls hard and realizes too late that he had let go of the phone and lighter, realizing the mistake he tosses the rod to try and catch the phone. He succeeded in only catching the last bit of the phone call before the phone hit the water, all he heard was laughing. Milo stood and looked to where he tossed his rod which was now pulled ten yards into the water, his phone disappearing as well, he stooped down and picked up his lighted that miraculously did not fall into the ocean, lit a new cigarette and just walked back to his dockside workshop, shaking his head.

Manami sat on her bed, staring at the floor below her feet. She was mentally preparing herself for what was about to happen, the final confrontation with the creep who had been stalking her and roaming her apartment. Just thinking about him wandering her bedroom and living space made her skin crawl, what person in their right mind would think that was a good idea? Honestly the dude probably was insane, it was the only explanation as to why he'd convinced himself any of this was a good idea. "God, I'm insane for doing this..." the mumbled, rubbing her face with her hands.

She didn't know how she'd let Paige convince her but they had set up a whole situation that would allow Manami to get back at the dude. Texting the guy was bizarre and uncomfortable but she had pushed through it, though as she sat there stealing herself a rush of anger and annoyance washed over her. This guy had invaded her privacy, had made her feel unstable and paranoid in her own home. For what? Some delusion that she was in love with him? Her blood began to boil and Manami found herself getting antsy

Hopping to her feet she started to pace around her room, how could someone make a person feel that way? Make her feel that way? The girl balled her fist up as she stopped, letting out a deep and heavy breath. Her emotions were trying to get the best of her and honestly she didn't care. She was confident and determined, today she would get this whole mess to go away and then find a new apartment to live in.

The sound of a man's voice could be heard through her bedroom door, she was unable to stop the fear and disgust that welled up inside her. Those feelings were instantly followed again by anger and this time those emotions took over. Without really thinking Manami grabbed the first thing that looked like it would hurt - A replica of the Triwizard Cup from her favorite book series.

In a whirl she opened her bedroom door and walked up, she hadn't even bothered to do her hair or makeup today. It pulled up into a messy ponytail and she had just thrown on a t-shirt and a pair of jeans. The creep obviously looked startled, but then put on the grossest smile complete with broken teeth. "I've been waiting for you! What's that you've got in your hand? Looks fancy." He said, eyes darting between Manami and Paige.

Manami blinked a few times, lifting the heavy cup up and running a finger over it. "Oh this? It's just a prop but I thought it would do the trick. It might not look like it but this pretty thing is made of metal...and it'll hurt a lot." She spoke in a sickeningly sweet tone, never making direct eye contact with him. The guy began to look weary as he started to realize something more was going on than just a simple dinner date. "Yea I guess, it'd hurt if you hit someone with it."

"Oh, I'm counting on it. Want to know why? Because some creepy nutjob thought that it would okay to sneak into my house, raid my home and stalk me!" Her voice rose as she walked up to the guy. "And I want him to know that he'd never come near me or anyone I know." Manami lifted the cup and brought it down on the guy's head, using as much force as she could. It didn't knock him out but it did make him stagger backwards and cut upon his forehead. He cursed and lunged out to grab her. She brought the cup upwards this time, catching him in the jaw. He fell to the ground, crying out as he held his face.

Manami clenching the cup in her hand as she stood there, staring down at the dude like he was a bug. To her though that's exactly what he was.

Charles wakes up early, well before his usual wake up time, deciding to get a serious head start on picking up ingredients for Taco Tuesday. Getting dressed he grabs his wallet and checks to see if he has his credit cards on him. Grabbing a set of keys he makes his way to the door and out to his street legal dune buggy. Still being a little chilly he dons a coat and riding gloves.

Heading out into the city he makes runs to all of his suppliers picking up the freshest ingredients possible ranging from hours old fish, seafood, steaks and vegetables. Loading up the buggy to its breaking point he heads to the Lovable Loser's Rainy Day cafe. Taking all the food he begins work on prepping for Taco Tuesday in the best way possible with a buffet style taco bar. He cuts and cooks all the ingredients for the menu for the day, hours before anybody is set to arrive.

Several hours pass before he finally opens for the day, setting up for lunch he gets the buffet pushed out, having offerings for anybody including a fully vegan option for the tacos and taco salads. He sets out all the sauces on the side of the buffet line ranging from a sweet sauce to nuclear hot sauce.

Taking a break before the lunch rush begins he heads to his office to lay down on his couch having been up and on his feet solidly for 5 hours at this point, passing off the duties to his managers while he takes his break.

Marinalia Romus Olympus "Mali" & Victoria Darya Romus "Vika"

Tuesday - Luna Sports Centre - Sol City

Taco Tuesday

Victoria
Victoria left Luna Sports after a smoothie and a quick snack, sitting down for a while people watching as the lunchtime rush became the quieter afternoon and the patrons changed from rushed lunch workouts to more casual longer classes, those at leisure and families using the pool and other facilities. It was nice to just sit, relax for a bit and calmly watch the world go by mostly unnoticed bar being occasionally annoyingly confused for a teanager by her height and rather slim figure. A teanager wearing a ruby necklace, designer coat and handbag?

Feeling a little stiff a second before getting moving again slowly down the short run of steps outside down to the car park up front where she was in a handicapped spot nearby. There was a viable city badge, screw you littering parking warden, better luck next time.

Making it to her car, not really having changed much having put a short, pink, white and pale blue tartan skirt over her yoga pants, a sports top and a dark fitted wool coat for warmth, it was spring but not quite enough spring for her to be fully warm. Throwing her bag into the foot well and the foam mat in the boot, deciding on a whim dropping the folding hard top, digging her sunglasses out and enjoying the gentle rumble of the V12 finding shuffle on the music systems eclectic collection.

...

Exiting the sports facility as the sat nav screen blinked marking out several nasty delays and crashes in Sol City. "Dang... Gridlocked. Sat nav, reroute round delays. Avoid ring road. Destination home." The City ring road was rather busy at times and annoying lanes. Easier to go via side roads. Finding herself on some roads that felt familiar, though not quite as her drive home that night was far from the most level headed night and details were rather fuzzy as to how she got home.

The rest of the drive had been good, the roads where we're not too bad and the larger tyres and heavier car took the city's eternal supply of potholes far better than the Mini did. One day she would have to drive out to Mount Atlas or somewhere else, the roads where really fun last time she did it. Avoiding a patch of damaged tarmac in the centre of road where some lorry had probably worn the road down by its regular turns into another commercial building... A familiar one...

Noticing a certain iron sign not too far away, wait... Slamming the brakes on as someone stepped out into the road as the nearly 2 tons of car came to rapid stop tyres biting into the tarmac for all there worth, engine rumbling and heavy metal playing through the sound system before looking round to check and swearing somewhat in Russian about looking where you're going. The distinctive snowflake cane was sat in in the passenger side footwell for easy reach, glancing over the bonnet to see someone who became familiar... Her Russian came out under stress until she got her accent back under control"Vou need to be more careful. I nearly hit you! Milo? Wait. Well this is awkward. You OK? Need medical help? I really... Really did not plan this and was taking a detour on a detour to tex mex wings."

Unsure what to do Victoria stayed in her dark purple car for now, her detour had turned into nearly running over Milo if she had not managed to brake so quickly. The last thing she wanted was Paige after her for running her boyfriend over and putting him in hospital. That woman was just plain scary at times...

What did she really say, her route had taken her back all the way to that fateful night a few months ago. A route that had set her in a rather different route in life than she ever expected. And now. Now she is back here again. Why did the fates keep dragging her back to things?

Had she not gone here all those months ago, how would things have ended? No one could change the past. Damn. Now apart from fate, she really had a craving for chicken wings... Urgh. Fate and their loom must be on a PMS day...

Milo Ventri

Milo stepped out into the street out in front of his shop, pulling hard on his cigarette, just trying to not think about that new shore rod swimming out into the blue. The idea that he had actually lost both a phone and his rod was just mind numbingly frustrating, mostly seeing as it meant he was going to have to redo all his contacts, if only someone had showed shown him how to do that cloud back up thing everyone suggested and he vehemently believed he would never need this wouldn't be a problem. The sound of screeching tires brought him from the reverie, his hand dropping to the handgun in his belt, however he loosened at the sound of Russian, thank the light it wasn't Italian.

"Only awkward if you make it that way, Victoria." Milo grinned, part of him still wasn't used to using her full name but she really wasn't the woman he knew. Milo took another deep drag on the cigarette not stepping out from in front of the car. "Honestly, I haven't been ok in what feels like a long time." He looked around and back at the girl, "And really, chicken wings? You must be having the cravings or something, only thing that could possess anyone to eat the equivalent of hot sauce on cardboard." He chuckled a bit at his own terrible jab at the entirety of the chicken wing industry, then sighed, "Well I shouldn't keep you, I'm going to go ahead and make a bit of lunch myself, I think I have fish I caught the other day, besides, I can't be out fishing all day, especially as I left my alarm at the bottom of the pacific this morning." Milo grinned and chuckled. As Milo stepped away from her car he raised a hand to wave, "Try not hit anything out there, be careful. Enjoy...tex mex?" He visibly shudders at the thought.

Paige Kennedy
&

Paige smirked a little as the man toppled over and very casually extended her foot behind him to help him in his ungraceful descent to the floor. Manami had done considerably better than she originally thought, but she knew from experience the next few moments were the most dangerous part. The man wasn’t knocked out cold and his survival instincts would soon take over and he would be acting on nothing but a sense of self-preservation and an attempt to escape the horror that he discovered. The surprise was over. He flailed wildly to roll over and get back on his feet still holding his gashed head with one hand the best he could, but not before Paige swiftly kicked him between the legs hard enough to retract his manhood for at least a month. He let out a guttural belch of spit and pain as the wave of shock passed over him. Gripping himself, he coughed and wailed in excruciation no longer able to concentrate on getting away from the two women standing over him.

Very deftly, Paige extended the rolled up phonebook to Manami in exchange for what looked like a golf trophy. She glanced at it quizzically, surprised by its weight and that Manami had managed to get such a good swing.

Manami briefly wondered if this was enough, after all he had a bleeding head and would probably have several other bruises for awhile. But then she decided no, it wasn't enough, she wanted this guy to realize that she wasn't playing and to never come near her again. Manami thought that he would just stay on the ground in pain but instead he got up again, before she could do anything though Paige gave him a quick kick in the nads. That attack pretty much left him immobilized, he was way too focused on his own pain than the two girls that were still standing there. Manami let of a breath that she didn't realize she'd been holding, looking to the blonde woman beside her.

She was a little confused when she gave her a phonebook and took her initial weapon of choice, she had figured that they would be done after this but apparently not. Part of her was horrified at such violence but another, much bigger part convinced herself that he deserved it. Clenching the heavy book in her hand, she gripped it tight and lifted it in the air. The creep still wasn't paying attention, and when she brought the heavy object down on his head he let out another pained grunt.

Paige continued to study the odd trophy briefly while Manami got in a few more good shots with the phonebook. She gingerly strolled over to the kitchen area and took a dish towel to polished off Jerome’s blood while her young apprentice continued to work him over thoroughly. She was still unsure as to what it belonged, other than that Manami mentioned it was a prop. Well whatever... She shrugged, looking to see that Manami seemed to be enjoying herself and not at all concerned with any further damage to their guest. It didn't take long before the young girl’s arms appeared to labor with each swing; adrenaline fueled rage could leave a person exhausted quickly and she walked back over motioning with a small wave for the beating to finally end.

Poor Jerome had assumed the fetal position and wept like a baby in a state of pain he had only just discovered within the last few moments. “I’m sorry, I’m sorry…” He sobbed pitifully holding his arms over his head where Manami had scored a few more direct hits to his face. Paige rolled him flat on his back with her foot and pushed his hand away from his face so he could look up at the both of them.

“We know you’re sorry and all Jerome,” She said, “But, I’m afraid that’s just not going to be good enough.” Paige reached behind her back and pulled her pistol out in clear view letting him look straight down the barrel.

“Oh GOD! JESUS, please don’t kill me!” He wailed seeing the dark center of the cylinder looking back at him and blazing green eyes on the other side of the sights. He covered his face again and bawled uncontrollably.

“Look here,” Paige snapped and kicked his hand away again. She cycled the action back ejecting a single bullet into her hand with a satisfying metallic clack. She leaned over him and tucked it into the front pocket of his blazer. “If you ever show your face here again the next one of these is gonna come a lot faster.” She growled. Turning her head she nodded for Manami to get the door. “Now get the hell outta here.”

She didn't stop until Paige motioned for her too, her arms twitched and shook from the effort of lifting and swinging the heavy phonebook repeatedly. Her breath was heavy but her mind was clear, looking down on this pathetic man curled into a ball made her feel powerful. That was something she had never felt before in her life and she was loving it, though was that a good thing? Manami took a few steps back to gain her composure, though when Paige brought out her gun she was a tad startled. That would definitely make this creep think twice about coming around here again. At the blonde's command she walked over to her front door and opened it, the whimpering fool on the floor saw his escape and took it. Without so much as a last glance he hobbled as best he could out of her apartment, shutting the door behind him she let out a long sigh and looked to the woman that had helped her.

Siobhan
Location: Apex Designs

Interaction: Joel @Pilatus & Ryan @Infinite Cosmos

Siobhan had planned to use the day to get ready for the cook out that she and Joel had planned. She was going to attempt to grill everything. Well except for the salad. Grilling lettuce sounded like a bad idea. Several steaks, bacon, wine and Joel's favorite beer Blue Moon later she was out of the store and headed over to the shop.

Siobhan had worn sandals that were a gladiator style white leather. She had shorts on that were high-waisted dark wash denim and hit her mid-thigh. Her top was a light ombré that went from pink to red. The v-neck wasn't so deep that she had to wear a shirt under it but it was close. She'd gathered it in the bottom front and wrapped a hair tie around it to show off the waistline of the shorts without tucking in her shirt. Her hair was down and curling all over the place like Mérida from Brave. Joel liked it down and she liked that he played with it freely.

She decided that the steaks would go in a light marinade of Worchestershire sauce and some fresh garlic. Lugging paper bags to the corvette and loading them in. Driving over to the shop she pulled out the food and started off to work.

A few hours later Siobhan was intensely concentrating on not ruining dinner. She had pulled her hair back into a ponytail to keep it away from the food and fire. She waved as Ryan greeted her. Concentrating she turned the steaks. "The salad is in the fridge. These are almost done. I hope that blue to medium rare is how you take your steaks, cause that's all the further I'm cooking them. After that it's arson."

Siobhan took the steaks off and put them on a plate for people to pick out quickly wrapping it in foil. "I'll run and get the salad and we can dine al fresco." She walked over to Joel and kissed him on the jaw. "Miláček I will be right back."

Disappearing inside she grabbed the salad and dressing as well as a beer. She came outside and set the metal salad bowl in a larger bowl that she had put ice in. The top was plastic wrapped so that she could go back for the utensils. After a couple of trips, one of them bringing out the wine and glasses, she sat down with the two men and popped a beer top. She was sitting on a chair that was close enough that she reached out and trailed her fingers over Joel's arm and down to link her hand in his. She then looked over at Ryan as she raised her eyebrow in inquiry.

"So what exactly is going on in your life Ryan?"

>>Vika, though text@PrinceAlexus Siobahn, and her cooking @Almalthia Joel, over a Guiness @Pilatus

During a moment of downtime, Ryan reached for his phone and sent out a text message.

-"Well. No. I've just had to rethink some things. Some...life things. And to be fair, I didn't get a close look of your scales, if you catch my drift. We'll talk later. Enjoy your day."-

Tucking his phone away, he paid some attention to the interaction between Joel and Siobahn. Of course, he doesn't know their backstory but does that really matter? They're clearly an item and for some reason, that makes him yearn for something similar. Ryan tried to offer to help but it seems like Siobahn has everything under control.

Again, this isn't his kitchen. He should definitely just back off for once and let the owners of the place to run it as they wished. Something he isn't really familiar with.

Taking a sip from his room temperature beer, Ryan leaned back on his chair, pondering the question Siobahn posed to him. "What is going on in my life. I don't really know I suppose." Pausing a moment to glance at the pair. "I mean. I feel like I'm hitting a block in regards to my restaurant. I'm finding myself losing inspiration. That is why my restaurant has been shuttered for a while now. I feel like I can't cook, or perform, to my usual standard and I refuse to serve substandard food." Pausing once again, Ryan drew in a deep breath. "Though, I suppose that wasn't what you were asking about. I think you're asking about the message exchange between us recently." He said, giving Joel a small head tilt to signify that he was talking about himself and Joel. "So. That. I don't know. I've known the woman for all of what? A few months? I was ready to take on the responsibility of helping her raise her unborn child. That isn't even mine to begin with. Call it lust, call it foolishness, call it whatever you'd like. I just.. I don't know. Why did you tell me to get the hell out of dodge, in the matter you did? Do you two have stories of Vika that you can share with me?" He said, taking a small sip from his bear.

Marinalia Romus Olympus "Mali" & Victoria Darya Romus "Vika"

Tuesday - Luna Sports Centre - Sol City

Taco Tuesday

Victoria
Victoria took a few seconds to process between the emergency stop and his response, you really did not prepare or plan for it. Seeing him suddenly reach for something, woah... "Woah... No need to go John Wayne in Dirty Harry. Not a Clanton in gravestone like the man with no name. Or was it Wyatt Cassidy?" Victoria could not really do much with the seat belt on the way move, so was just glad when he stopped. Jumpy much? Paranoid? Her understanding of westerns was... A little less than comprehensive... Hopefully she had not got that too wrong.

Giving a little awkward smile, her reaction was definitely surprised over all. This situation was rather definitely not normal. His comments made her feel a bit bad, but what was done was done and there were no changing things that had happened. "umm. Not run over at least." OK that was not exactly confident or very anything... Not exactly every day you nearly run someone over. Chicken wings, really, the cardboard of food? Hospital catering maybe. That or American cheese... In plastic slices. Why? "Yes. My healthy post yoga snack just. Well. Did not do it for me. I can enjoy fish fingers and custard. Not sure if pregnancy or first stage of insanity?. I'll spare you the worse parts." trying to make light of some of the downright odd combinations that were rather palatable for her, pickled things, god why. Least it lightened the mood a bit and well it was not so awkward.

Relaxing a little and turning down the shuffle that had swapped over to a Tatu song in native Russian she was half humming, a little bit singing along to without thinking. "oops, Dira got me into it when I was in Moscow.

Your judgement on my choices is quite damning, you think you can do better? Though if anything like your french press, I still remember that fondly.``
Teasing a bit, Victoria was a little more normal and not the awkward I nearly ran you over Victoria. ''oh, unfortunate. You have clouds, right? You'll be back up in no time?" Victoria knew her tech, she had designed her own high level security systems, granted regular clouds had a few disadvantages, the regular celeb nude scandals for instance. "Is that your reel stick drifting away out into the ocean?" The fact her father was a sea captain and she messed up fishing terms was an ongoing joke for some. She could name a bunch of advanced systems hardware and speak two fluent languages plus native level reading and writing and not know about something simple as basic fishing terms.

Her dark grey eyes glancing under her raised sunglasses a second waiting for Milo to be clear, not wanting to run him over again or close to before pulling the Bentley into the guest / Customer spot next to his huge black truck that still made the larger Continental GT look small. Climbing out carefully after cutting the engine and hard tops slow yet smooth motion closing over seamlessly into the bodywork. Taking the comments as an invitation, just one alternative form they were. Climbing out very carefully on the slightly less steady gravel before hooking her handbag on arm and Cane from the passenger footwell. She was still fully getting used to getting in and out of the dark purple tourer. Leaving her coat on the seat remembering how hot he kept his home with the forge, the sports top and yoga pants even with pale blue, pink and white tartan skirt not hiding her rather slender figure. "Well, I take it as an invitation or this is embarrassingly misread. You happen to have any sweet tea, like... самоваn? Urn? With sugar, lemon? заварка. Um, strong tea? Decaf? Dr banned caffeine." Having to think of the various translations and contexts of a rather Russian, Persian and not so American concept. Though fully fluent it took a little thought to convert everything."Like canned tea? But not. Life was a lot simpler in Russia, I almost wish I was back. Everything is difficult." Being somewhat too honest, Victoria life had by her own actions and others become very complicated, oh to be several years younger just enjoying events, exploring the Kremlin, just visiting friends and enjoying life in the many bars, gigs and so she managed to attend, with Dira and others able help to smooth out some of the problems.

Glancing over and removing her sunglasses, trying to be decent about it all and not quite the ice queen look, the opaque glasses gave her hiding the majority of emotions in her eyes. "I'd offer to help but I'm more hazzed than help in the kitchen sometimes. I'm good if you like pasta." Leaning slightly on the snow flake cane Victoria was a little nervous at the whole fateful door and drive that had changed so much.

Milo Ventri

Milo looked over as Victoria pulled in to the drive, she thought he was inviting her in, under other circumstances, maybe, but right now, he had to get ready for the cookout with Sio and Paige. He had only planned of frying a filet and doing a quick fish taco anyway, but tea was possible, besides, they hadn't left things great, and maybe with things changing, maybe she had as well, at least enough to understand what it was he needed to say.

"Well sadly, it wasn't and invitation. I am actually going to a cookout that Sio is throwing, you remember Siobhan Murphy, artist your family held that show for. Eh, hold here a sec though, least I can do is give you that glass of tea." Milo went in the side door that lead to the home side of the shop, filled two glasses of tea and looked over, to the fridge, "Hopefully Sio can cook a decent steak, looks like I'm missing lunch." He shook his head and went back outside, handing one of the glasses to Victoria. "Would go inside, but, wouldn't look good to have my ex over when Paige gets off." Milo took a drink of the cold sweet tea, he wasn't honestly sure whether it was decaf or not, he makes it in a stock pot anyway. "Not to be rude, but also not to beat around the bush, Are you ok?" Milo looked over with a steely concern, "I have heard some things, don't want to presume, but."

Milo had heard a but from Sio and Paige, about the goings on about town, and as much as he tried to just ignore it all he still felt bad for Victoria, when they had met, it was clear she was going to have a rough go of it, but no one deserves this. "I heard you and your fella had some trouble, not gonna pry, don't really want to know, just hope you take care of yourself." Milo leaned against the door of his truck, "You know, I had wanted to talk to you, that art show, didn't really get what I wanted to say across, and at this point none of it matters. I'm glad you came here, even if by chance, cause I wanted to tell you I'm letting everything go, no hard feelings on my end, just the good ones, like the coffee." He smiled and chuckled at he mention that she still remembers that morning.

Location: Milo's shop apparently...

Interaction: Victoria @PrinceAlexus & Milo @Roccanironclad

Mentions: Ryan @Infinite Cosmos & Sister

Ethan recalled to memory the incident in the pub. He didn't get very far in the memory before the present intruded.. He shook his head and picked up his phone when it rang.

"She is at the Luna Sports Center." The line went dead at the end of that statement.

Apparently Victoria couldn't tell she was being followed. As Ethan pulled his keys from his pocket he smirked. He brought to mind the scene from the pub again and smiled as he recalled his reaction to the couple who had walked off.

~~~~~~~~
Ethan looked perplexed. He shook his head. Victoria was just like every other girl pretending to be grown. She'd learn she couldn't have it her way. Spoiled brats rarely got what they wanted in the real world. Too bad she's not like my sister. That is one that I'll need to save from her own stubbornness and her bad taste in men.
Ethan watched them walk away smirking. Little boys shouldn't play with fire. It burns. Pocketing Ryan's card he walked out after he was sure they were out of the parking lot. After all Victoria wasn't above keying cars and he didn't feel like giving her the chance to turn her crazy on him. Being run down by your baby mama was a bit too trashy for his taste. Still wouldn't put it past her though.
~~~~~~~~

Ethan was out the door in a flash. Checking the traffic app on his phone he decided that he was taking his bike. The Ninja. Better to weave in between cars and hunt down that woman who needed a large amount of spankings for her behavior. The thought of turning Victoria over his knee made him grin. If she was lucky he might let her enjoy it.

He pulled on his helmet, still grinning, hopped on the bike and gunned the engine. The bike sprang to life and Ethan moved with it. Enjoying himself was a luxury he rarely afforded nowadays. But enjoy the ride he did.

He was just getting to the Sports Center as Victoria's unmistakable dark purple car was pulling out. She must have just been leaving. He hung back to see which way she was going.

When it looked like she finally made up her mind he followed her at a discreet distance. She looked down at her phone repeatedly and he winced as she hit every pothole on the street.on her side of the street or not. Thank God I never let her drive. She must be paying for her mechanic's dozen children to each go to an Ivy League school of their choice. That car is wasted on her.

Ethan saw the man before she did. He looked at him as he pulled over not taking off his helmet just yet. Pulling out his phone he took some candid shots of the two. He walked away from them lazily back to his bike. Wait she's pulling in and flirting hardcore. Oh this is delicious. And isn't that… Mike… no...Misha… no Milo! That's it her ex, who has the same name as one of her random family members. Well I can just see it now. Victoria and Paige getting in a tussle. That Marshal would eat her for breakfast and wonder where all the substance went.

He grinned as he started up the bike and pulled in beside Victoria's car. His voice was that entrancing thing and he used it so well that he knew he could get anyone to behave the way he wanted them to. Afterall it was his talent. "See when you said the scenic route I thought you meant the actual countryside rather than ex-boyfriends. And yet here we both are. So where's the current one? Dump him already? I swear Victoria you go through men like underwear."

Ethan nodded to Milo holding out a hand. "Mr. Ventri, how's the better half? My apologies for interrupting but a certain someone carrying my child has decided to punish me for doing my job and apparently I now have to grovel to make her happy.  So she'll stop sleeping around on me. They have some odd ideas about what is good for a pregnancy in Russia. Something about hitting every pothole or some such nonsense. " He smiled charmingly and kept his eyes on Milo

Marinalia Romus Olympus "Mali" & Victoria Darya Romus "Vika"

Tuesday - Luna Sports Centre - Sol City

Taco Tuesday

Victoria
Victoria definitely remembered that evening, one of the paintings hung in her bedroom suite and Marlin had some she took a liking to, it had been one Victoria would not soon forget, nore did her sister return home until the afternoon. No points for guessing why. The smile she had was proof enough she had made the most of the evening's "entertainment" That evening has ended badly with the whole camera footage getting hacked... Damn then to hell, Siberia or Milton Keynes with no signage... Purgatory in roundabouts. That would be fair.

A cook out with Sio, Joel probably too. Was she a capable cook or would it end up with a bout of food poisoning and a visit to the porcelain throne. Holding back on commenting much about the red headed woman's abilities, she drew pretty pictures, impressive and skilled but she regarded her job as more practical. Perching on the bonnet of her car, it was easier than standing the whole time which was still not what she wanted for an extended period. "Have fun, long as she can grill better than my uncle in law carbonisation. Not sure if a burger or coal chunks. Maria married my dad, 27 years late, but finally.

Thankyou, a pick me up would be nice"
Leaning back as he went inside enjoying the sunshine and watching the traffic pass by with an odd car slowing slightly as her car stood out a tad in the local area of light industrial use. Resting her cane next to her as she took the tea two handed very carefully and smiling as she savoured the sweet liquid. "mmmm... Tea... Cannot really judge how I reacted... I've had. Issues before. I was a novelty, people... Wanted normal not the broken woman you had to make changes for." Explaining self, she felt it was only fair to least be honest. Her not talking had made many problems worse. "Me? Honestly? OK? Managing. I have a very supportive family. Much as you, Sio, Paige and Joel probably hate them... And a few me. They sure make friends. They will support me regardless, Maria is not Darya, my mum. But I'm kinda a second daughter now. Her and Marla's advice been invaluable."

Oh, he was more informed that she thought he would be, must have been who, no they weren't even there. Like how did he know that, Milo was more hooked up than she gave him credit for. "That's definitely the short answer. It's definitely not the Waltons... My problem, but it definitely was not exactly conventional. I think I got that right. If you ever end up this way with Paige, I wish you luck with her being rather more armed." trying to soften and lighten things, did she get that reference right as that was one show she never really had seen. Jim Bo or something.

Talk. That was surprising, she expected him to hate her beyond measure for what she did. But no, damn he was a good egg. "I was... Yeah. It is a bit shaky. If you can, I'll do my best. I never said properly, thank you for the Cane. It's much more steady than my old one, how you got the height right without asking me is quite impressive.

Good coffee. And good tea too. Thank you for the hospitality.``
Perched on her car was not the best spot but it was not that bad, sipping the sweet elixir in her hands, the tea was excellent. Not sure what to say, this meeting was extremely unplanned and never expected. She still had to find a new source for food though even with her sweet tea pick me up. Looking at the car she was resting on. "I managed to sell someone software I developed, Least one good thing I've managed since I got back. Should let you get ready for your date eventually, oh. Consider it an attempt at a peace offering, if you ever need it, il update your systems at material cost. I'm not exactly an expert at this... " Not sure what to offer, it seemed a fair peace offer when she thought the first time, handing over a card with her personal number when if he lost it.

Sliding off her car, resting weight on her cane and having to rather look up at Milo, she had forgotten a little exactly how much taller and broader than she was.

...

Hearing the engine note of a fast bike pull up, and the distinctive accent and confidence. Dang how did he even come across her, this was plain weird, did he have someone stalking her about. She was damn sure he had not seen her and the car together before?

Turning round and looking up, slightly frustrated by the angle of sunlight making her have to squint slightly with the brightness, the change in weather had come at a surprise to many who were used to the cold northern winter. "This is a surprise Ethan. No, I am not building my own harem of men like some mythology based fantasy. The effort would greatly exceed the benefits by several factors.

Entirely be chance, I was taking a side road for some food as traffic was awful and Milo here decided to walk out onto the road without looking properly. I had some tea and we were just agreeing to drop hostility seeing as life seems to enjoy throwing us together at events. Life's complicated enough without extra drama.

Even if I was so inclined. Paige is too damns scary... I'd not pick Milo as a first choice to say the least. Being shot at is not my idea of fun.``
Victoria decided that getting into a blazing row in the middle of street where now not just a Bentley but a high end race bike had just pulled up would hardly be missed by anyone in the area.

Deciding it had to be asked, and also answered, her Russian accent was sneaking in more noticeably when her emotions were higher. "The last person I slept with intimately was you at the art exhibition, unless you count what you can buy from Victoria secret website as a animate object.

How did you even find me... I got this car after you last visited my home? I admit it's not exactly... Discreet. But still the mathematical odds are... Well ridiculously slim?"
The comment about driving, huh? What pot holes, she never really felt them, Cardinal never had complained, nore her sister. "Potholes? I only clipped a few. I have passed a test in two countries, Two major cities. I'm perfectly safe to drive my own car.

Can. Can we take this to say the quiet beach near the docks down that road, or one of our homes? Milo here has a date and a cook out to attend hosted Siobhan."
Not wanting Milo to have a spectator side view of everything, including the fact he does not want to know in the first place. Victoria tried to guide it somewhere else even in his apartment where he held home field advantage. Least less prying eyes and ears.

Today really had Victoria confused now, life in the city was ridiculously complicated. First she meets Milo, then Ethan and now both... All she needed was Ryan to turn up and join this great party of awkwardness.
