Ash went next. He sent out Incenaroar when his opponent called out an Alolan Golem. A well-timed Inferno Overdrive gave him the win.

Liam's battle against Kiawe was next. Kiawe and Liam sent out Charizard and Blastoise respectively in unison.
"Hydro, use Water Pulse!" Liam called. The attack hit Kiawe's Charizard for a fair amount of damage.
"Use Slash!" Kiawe ordered. Hydro ducked his head into his shell to evade the attack.
"Way to go Hydro!" Liam praised. "Now, let's take it up a notch! Mega Evolve!" Liam activated his keystone, causing Hydro to Mega Evolve, getting many cheers from the audience. "Water Pulse!" Liam called. This time the attack buffed by Wonder Launcher made a direct hit, confusing the Charizard and activating Blaze.
"Pretty good, but let's see how you fare against this," Kiawe said with a smirk as he activated his Z-Ring. "Use Supersonic Skystrike!" The attack connected and did considerable damage to Hydro.
"Alright Charizard, time to wrap this up. Use Aerial Ace!" Kiawe said.
"Now, Hydro Cannon!" Hydro fired off the powerful water-type move right in Charizard's face as it charged in, KO'ing it and giving Liam the win.

The next match was Jimothy vs Hau. As before, Wobbafett was there waving a flag in support of Jimothy, and his Mariene latched onto his head affectionately when it emerged from its ball. Hau sent out Decidueye. The battle drew out for around five minutes before Hau won with Spirit Shackle.

Jimothy picked up his Mariene and praised it for the hard work. It once again clamped onto Jimothy's head affectionately. The two and the Wobbafett left the stadium.

Since Gladeon used Silvally in his last battle, Chuck decided it should be fine to use Omega, sending him out to combat his opponent's Gardevior. Gardevior started off strong with a Moonblast, which the Type:Null barely avoided. He turned around and counter attacked with an Iron Head, slamming it's masked head into Gardevior, causing it to flinch. Omega took full advantage of it and followed up with a Shadow Claw, scoring a critical hit and knocking out his opponent, earning him a spot in the top 8.

Jen and Maui walks down the stands to the battlefield as she sense the guy she is battling and sends out Maui her Lycaroc as her opponent sends out Boltund. Boltund runs quickly as it use Thunder Fang as Maui use Sand Storm and dodge Boltund. Jen activates her Z Ring and does the dance to Tectonic Rage as Maui and Boltund are under ground. As the sand settles down Maui howls from winning the match as Boltund is knocked out in the sand.

Veronica nodded to herself as she saw she was fighting Ash, Ash had been consider an amber threat by Nigal but Ash latest adventures and the likes had made his rating drop down from Amber to green. But Veronica knew what pokemon she wanted to use. Someone she had hidden all this time, as Ash went with Incenroar, Veronica sent out her Ultra Beast Phermosa aka Lust.

The battle immediately began with Incenaroar attacking first, Which Lust easily doged with her impressive speed, the battle quickly turned into a dodge game as Ash tried multiple different moves to try and hit lust but her speed keep her out of danger but she was starting to get tired of all her dodging so she used Attract and then when Incenaroar was unable to attack. Lust ended the battle with a powerful Life orb boosted high jump kick. Sending Veronica into the final 4.

Ash and Pikachu were disheartened by the defeat, but Ash still praised Incenaroar for the good effort. The quietly exited the arena.

Jen is proud to battle Shiranui he is one of good friends. She and Maui walks down to the battlefield and enters the box. She waits for Shiranui to arrive for the battle to begin.

Chuck was in the prep room, thinking about what he knew about Hau, and thinking about what Pokemon he should use against him.

Liam was deciding who he would use as well. He only got one Pokémon for the match. Goodra is one of his strongest Pokémon, but Goodra would also probably be expected. He remembered that his opponent had used Greninja and Salazale during the tournament, but would she be using one them, or another?

Jen is proud to battle Shiranui he is one of good friends. She and Maui walks down to the battlefield and enters the box. She waits for Shiranui to arrive for the battle to begin.

Shiranui arrived at the box on his side of the battlefield and was ready for what Jen had in store for him.

Jen hoped Shiruni throw his ball first, as she throws a Luxury ball. “I choose you Aura,” Jen said as her Lucario came out sparkling as the crowd is amaze by Jen’s Lucario.

"Nayamashii, I choose you!" Shiranui threw his ball and his Salazzle came out.

“Earthquake Aura,” Jen said as Aura creates a big Earthquake.

"Double Team!" Nayamashii created lots of Salazzle copies and the Earthquake made some of them vanish.

“Bulldoze,” Jen said as Aura jumps up stomping the ground striking everything around her.

"Sand Attack!" Some of the Salazzle clones hurled sand into Aura's face, dropping her accuracy before they vanished from the Bulldoze attack.

Aura flinched as her speed stats went up one level. “Phychic,” Jen said as Aura summons a strong force at Salazale.

Aura's attack had managed to connect, dealing a lot of damage to Nayamashii. "Nayamashii, use Inferno Overdrive!" Shiranui activated the Firium-Z on his Z-Power Ring and performed the dance to activate Inferno Overdrive. Charged with Z-Power, the underside of Nayamashii's tail ignited with an intense flame as the Salazzle breathed out a stream of extremely hot fire at Aura.

Selina was not even thinking about strategies right now, instead she was enjoying the battle between Jen and Shinranui, Zelina watched the battle too enjoying it. Sharing her master love of watching strong battles between trainers.
