Location:Hotel Valhalla Floor 12
Skills: Spear

"I can try my best to keep them occupied, but well it seems Dalisy is also on top of it." Lara gently crouched down in the canoe, and then looked over at the other canoe and narrowed her eyes a bit. She knew that she had to be careful about where she stepped and where she aimed... but thankfully her spear would come back to her if she tossed it... but the other canoe got in close, close enough for Lara to make some jabs at them. Sadly, she missed the other woman but...

*THUD*

The ever so satisfying sound of metal piercing wood and causing a huge hole in the other canoe made Lara grin at that point. She simply smirked over at the other canoe and then pulled her spear back. Thankfully, even if she had missed the other people in the canoe, she had caused them some damage that they couldn't easily fix it.

"Anora, we need to get out of range and quick, think you can do that?" Lara had faith that the other woman could do it, but it was still a bit risky if the other woman left in the canoe wanted her vengeance or to even try hopping over. Lara didn't want to die, not by drowning. She hated drowning, and it was on her list of top horrible ways to die, right up there with being shot to death.

Elizabeth Flame

Location: Gift Shop

Elizabeth pursed her lips, she could be wrong, she was fine with that, but she still felt like mentioning it to the Thanes wouldn't be a bad idea. She shrugged and said, "I mean, I hit my head all the time, that doesn't normally happen, but hey, far be it from me to interfere with fate, should you be wrong." She was being a bit facetious, sure, but she didn't really care about coming off that way, "Love god wants to have fun in the Goddess of Death's sex dungeon, that's on him, I suppose." As Runa ran off, she sighed, "And now the newbie is broken, somebody should deal with that."

Beth figured that her going after her might not be best. She was blunt, but not oblivious by any means. It was her words that caused this, but Runa would need to learn to be tougher. Words alone could not be allowed to break a person here, not when they'd be putting themselves in the way of real, physical danger. It was a process they all had to go through, to learn not to let your emotions dictate your actions, sometimes it took years, decades, or even centuries, but it was a skill they all had to learn. Turning her head to the armors in the aisle, she pretended to be looking for something new to wear, hoping one of them would try to help the girl.

Hotel Valhalla: Floor 39:

As soon as Runa got to Floor 39 there were a few older looking men and women in their late thirties early forties, some of them looked at the girl who had bolted out of the elevator the ones who were in the floors lounge looked at one another. Giving a little bit of a confused look at the whole situation, though there was a single Valkyrie there. The same one who had brought Runa back to life and to the hotel, and quickly went over towards the new Einherjar.

She gently rested a hand on her shoulder trying to give her a friendly smile. "Whats wrong?" She asked Runa, seeing her holding a staff in her hands from most likely the gift shops there she wasn't sure if Runa would turn around and start hitting her. She understood the reaction to being dead some didn't take it to well at all while some of the others easily brushed it off.

Nadia Petrova

Location: Hotel Valhalla: Floor 5 Gift Shop
Skills: N/A

Nadia turned and gave Elizabeth a little bit of an annoyed look after Runa had ran off somewhere she wasn't sure why Runa had suddenly ran off in the first place. Nadia also didn't really like her tone as she shook her head a little bit at her, as she tried to catch up to Runa, but the girl was really fast. "Well you probably scared her off now, and she's probably anywhere in Valhalla by now." Nadia said shaking her head a little bit, there were 540 floors in the hotel itself which would take a really long ass time to actually try and find her.

Nadia made her way towards the elevator she didn't see the floor number that Runa had gone off to, closing her eyes and groaned a little bit annoyed. As a thought came to her that her friend Arnora could easily track her maybe, as Nadia ran back into the gift shop snagging one of the pennies that Runa had dropped. She looked over at Klara once she had what she needed and made her way over towards her, knowing who to probably find her. "Arnora could probably find her easily, i'm going to go and look for her."

Arnora Skadidottir

Location: Hotel Valhalla: Floor 12
Skills: Boating, Axe Fighting

Arnora watched as both Dalisy and Lara worked together and smirked at Dalisy as she shook her head slightly towards her. "Shut up." Arnora said as she moved the boat some, as she started to get a bit of an idea. She took out her axe Leviathan and then aimed it at the slowly sinking boat that had attacked them, and threw her axe watching it going wide and missing. Arnora groaned a little bit as she held out her hand, much like Thor's hammer in the marvel movies her axe came flying back into her hand. Making another small hole but sadly it wasn't as big as she had hoped it would be either.

"On it." Arnora said as she started to move the boat a bit faster, finding a fork in the water as it veered off into two a separate river, and turned towards that one, having been here a long time she already knew the course fairly well. Arnora knew that it would take them towards one of the drop off points for the boats. It didn't take them to long to return to one of the docks and Anrora moved it slowly towards it. "Well that was fun right ladies?" Arnora asked looking at the two of them and smiled a bit.

Runa Johansson

Location: Hotel Valhalla - Floor Thirty Nine -> Floor 472
Skills: Norwegian

Alarm bells went off in Runa's mind, seeing people about twice her age staring at her. She was never a huge fan of strangers to begin with, but the older men in particular caused her already high anxiety levels to rise even more. People didn't have any qualms about murder in this hotel. She didn't want to find out what other grotesque behaviors were allowed. She felt like she couldn't breathe, the walls closing in around her. Her Valkyrie coming up to her and placing a hand on her shoulder caused Runa to flinch. She white knuckled the staff in her hands, her eyes darting around wildly as she tried to figure out an escape route.

"J-j-jeg har det bra," Runa stammered in her native Norwegian. She couldn't stop the tears from pouring out of her eyes, gushing more like, no matter how terrified the new situation she had ended up in made her. The only way out that she could see was the elevator. She ducked under the Valkyrie's outstretched arm and dashed back in the way she had gone, pressing frantically on the elevator buttons for dear life. Once it opened up and she stepped inside, she hit one of the highest floors - floor 472. The doors opened to reveal a race track.... for GoCarts? Runa had seen them before in American TV shows, but never in real life.

"Hey I just call it as I see it, and I can see everything." Dalisy quipped. Her power had to be activated thankfully, but she could really see anything if she so decided, as long as it was actively happening. She couldn't see the past or future. That probably was a good thing. Dalisy considered the future a terrifying prospect and was quite happy living in the moment.

Dalisy hopped off the boat when the landed and helped pull it in. "That was fun. Want to go again? I didn't even get hurt a little. You promised me a few new bruises. Not to even mention the broken bones." Her question was solely directed at Arnora. She didn't even glance at Lara.

Klara instantly glanced at Runa as she whirled around and took off running away from them, and she let out a bit of a sigh before glaring a bit at Elizabeth, "Really Elizabeth? Everything was perfectly fine until you showed up and started talking or playing tricks or whatever! I may be a trickster, but I at least have the decency to know when to not do pull tricks, and usually that's after the new arrivals have a chance to get settled in!" she snapped at Elizabeth, more then a little bit annoyed with her and what she had more or less done. Runa had seemed fine, and at least feeling a little bit more at ease around just her and Nadia, but no, Elizabeth had to open her mouth and start causing problems.

"I'm with you, Arnora probably could find her quicker, she could be anywhere in this place, and let's not forget that it's huge, so if we went around trying to find her without some sort of help," she said to Nadia, looking over at her now and clearly she was completely ignoring Elizabeth's existence. It was well-known that Klara could be a bit of a hot-head, and most people didn't want to be on the receiving end of it. She didn't even really want to talk to Elizabeth anymore, or have her anywhere near them at the moment, "Let's go find her," she said to Nadia, heading towards the elevator. "Do you know where she could be?"

"Fun was one way to put it. Next time I want to go down the rapids I might have to ask to go with you two again, given that I survived with you two rather than with the people I started off with." Lara knew that even as she said that that Dalisy would probably toss herself into the rapids than go down them again with Lara. That was always the way with Lara and Dalisy, since the day Dalisy had arrived. No matter how many times Lara tried to ask her what the problem was, Dalisy always found away to avoid answer the question.

Lara hopped off at the dock and helped tie it up at that point and sighed a bit at that as she looked at them both. "You two can go again if you'd like, I might go practicing somewhere else. Unless there is something else you'd like to do, Arnora?" She smiled at the other woman, hoping that Arnora might want to hang out a bit longer.

Hotel Valhalla: Floor 472:

Floor 472 also known by most of the Einherjar as The Go-Kart foor, there was a rather huge massive track that spanned the entire floor, with some bleachers on the far end of the room with crowds of other Einherjar in the stands already. The track itself looked like something out of the game Mario Kart but more on the M-Rated side of things. There was a wrecked go-kart on the track that Runa would be able to see with a smoldering body of an Einherjar.

There was another track though it looked like it was a bit smaller than the main one and less popular, as well as a nearby concessions stand as well containing a lot of food from hotdogs, to nachos and soda as well. Runa would hear another loud crashing sound as a go-kart crashed into the side and a tire ended up bouncing and rolling forward going just past Runa's legs as it rolled to a stop before landing on it's side the tire itself looked a bit bloody as well to, Runa would see someone giving her a slight smile and waved towards her before disappearing into the stands.

Nadia looked over at Klara for a moment as she wondered where Arnora could actually be right now, and gave a slight shrug as well she didn't have the slightest clue where she was either. "I'm not sure either to be honest." Nadia said, it would take awhile to find her as well, but Arnora was probably one of the best trackers in all of Valhalla as well. "I'm sure we will end up bumping into Arnora soon though." She said as she made her way over towards the elevator and looked over at Elizabeth, even though she did scare off poor Runa who was still adjusting to everything.

"You are welcome to help out as well looking for her." Nadia said as she shrugged slightly as she pressed Floor 167, which was the floor that was made for leather working activity. Nadia's clothing was something that Arnora had made for her after her first year being in Hotel Valhalla. Once everyone was in and the doors closed it didn't take to long until they were on the floor Nadia stepped off and looked around seeing Atlas there.

Arnora turned to look at Dalisy and gave her a slight smirk. "I could always just push you down into the rapids, or roughen you up a little bit as well." Arnora said sarcastically towards her as she looked at Lara and smiled towards her and nodded. "Anytime you want to i'd be up for it." She said, Arnora didn't really feel like going into the rapids again at least not for now anyway, though it was fun and she got to use her boating skills as well. She did want to go back and work on some of her leather working and finish her little project that she was working on as well.

"I was actually going to do some leatherworking if either of you guys wanted to come with." Arnora said giving a slight shrug as she started to make her way towards the elevator before returning their boat in at the desk there. Whether or not they wanted to come Arnora got into the elevator and waited for the two of them to come in and pressed the button to Floor 167.

Runa Johansson

Location: Hotel Valhalla - Floor 472
Skills: N/A

Runa's mental illness manifested itself similar to a hurricane. Her self loathing acted as the warm, moist air from the surface of the sea and outside variables, such as the knowledge of Balder and the end of the world, acted as the cool air that would condense the warm air into water. This water vapor served as the fuel, kicking up a horrific storm - Runa's depression. When it happened, she was always just completely overwhelmed by it, at the mercy of her brain's unique chemistry. She hadn't found very many coping mechanisms and the ones she had, it always felt like clinging to a piece of rope tied to a door, as the hurricane threatened to swallow Runa whole.

The hurricane never lasted forever though - it always had to end and sometimes, a sufficient shock was all that was needed. The extreme video game like GoCart track was jarring, especially with the bloody tire that rolled near her. It was the man in the stands who Runa knew had smiled at her that sent a jolt down her spine. She had no idea who he was. Maybe he was the lost God of Love, here to explain that he wasn't actually missing and had just taken a wrong turn while on holiday in Peru? The man started to vanish into the stands and Runa went at a run, staff in hand, after him. He was getting further and further away, Runa falling behind as she tried to weave her way through the crowds and not get killed by angry Vikings. It felt like an impossible task for a moment, until she managed to catch up to him, panting hard.

"Who are you?" she whispered.

Elizabeth Flame

Location: Gift Shop
Skills: Rune Magic

As she was chastised and people ran off, she shrugged. Such was the way things were around here, she thought. She didn't care much if people were angry at her, any kid who started crying from something like that needed to change, otherwise they'd be a danger to themselves, and anybody they ever went on a mission with. As it stood, she didn't have a very high opinion of the girl, but she hoped this would start he down a path where Beth might have something resembling that for her. In the mean time, she tried to figure out what she'd be doing. She didn't need much in the way of supplies from the shop, so she strolled out.

Reaching into her bag, she sat against the wall and pulled out a pen and journal. Clicking her tongue for a moment, she scribbed down some runes, and just felt her head go a bit fuzzy. "Come now... you can tell me what I want to know, can't you?" She asked under her breath, as she touched up her attempt, and felt a wave of clarity wash over her. That magic always felt good to use, if a bit draining; she knew exactly what her dream was, and it wasn't a product of getting hit too hard on the head. Baldur was in Hel's castle, Eljudnir, and that couldn't be good. The thane's would be wanting to hear this for sure.

Dalisy had no desire to be going on the rapids again with Lara. Honestly, she had no desire to go anywhere with her. "Uh, no thanks." Dalisy said to Lara. She did her best to keep her disdain out of her voice but doubted she did a very good job of it.

She laughed at Arnora's threat. "I'd spar you." She said, following Arnora to the elevator. "I'll ride with you, but drop me off on my floor if you don't mind." Dalisy said. That was the limit of the amount of time Dalisy could keep from saying something unpleasant to Lara.

In the elevator, Dalisy pressed the button for her floor, 301. She'd have a chance to change out of wet clothes and shower before dinner this way. Maybe work on something in her room for a bit. She had a few partial projects to work on.

"I'd appreciate that, but I think another day for a rapid run together would be for the best." Lara mostly spoke to Arnora at that point, since she was sure Dalisy had not inclination of ever doing anything with Lara again. Sure, Dalisy had tried to keep the disdain out of her voice, but Lara could pick it up ever so slightly at that point.

"I'll pass on leather working for the moment, but I will want to go to my floor and change out of my wet clothing before I freeze." Lara reached over to press the button for her floor, which was 233. That did mean that Arnora would be getting off the elevator before either Dalisy or Lara, which would probably be a bother.

"So any theories on if there will be anything going on at dinner? I think I heard whispers of a new person earlier, before I got on the rapids." Whenever anyone new arrived that night their death would be played and then they'd be honored. It always interested Lara to see how people had earned their way to the Hotel.

Atlas Rowan Duchannes

Location: Hotel Valhalla - Floor 472

"That $20 is as good as mine!" Atlas crowed over the roar of the engine beneath him. Grinning from ear to ear he expertly steered his Go-Kart even closer to the finish line. As he crossed the checkered banner his arms flung into the air, his laugh boisterous with delight. The men behind him groaned all while rolling their eyes.
"Pretty boy." They grumbled resentfully under their breath.

It was just another day in Valhalla. Atlas had been walking around the hotel minding his own business when he overheard a conversation between two burly gentlemen. Each one proclaimed that they could beat the other in a Go-Kart race. Having been bored with absolutely nothing else to do, Atlas couldn't help but chime in and join the wager.

"Thanks fellas, I'll be here well..." He paused after plucking the currency from their outstretched hand.
"... Until the end of time I guess." He finished with a frown. The thought dampening his good mood.

The grumpy duo waved him off as they parted ways. With a shrug Atlas placed his well-earned reward into his wallet, stopping only to admire one of the pictures within. It was of his mother. The woman he had never met.
He continued his pace, casually flipping through the miniature photo album that was built into the material. His steps sure and unfaltering. In his own little world as a small smile twitched onto his lips. A result of literally walking down memory lane.

He began heading towards the elevators, his vision still preoccupied by the wallet in his hands. His goal was to walk back to his hotel room and read the new book he had just added to collection, but the universe had other plans.
Oblivious, his toe caught on someones ankle causing him to fall forward. With quick reflexes he caught himself, but at the expense of dropping his wallet in the process. Its contents scattered across the pavement, the photos seemed to look up at him mockingly.

He frowned before leaning forward and collecting the images. While doing so he looked up to see what it was... or WHO it was he had tripped on.

"Oh. Hey Nadia." He murmured apologetically.
"Sorry about that. I should really watch where I'm going."

Klara wasn't too thrilled at the idea of Elizabeth following along since she probably would scare Runa even more then before, no matter what she really just wanted to keep her away from Runa. You couldn't overwhelm a new person, and pulling pranks that could easily be considered freaky on someone's first day was ridiculous. "Let's just try to find Arnora already, so that we can then hopefully find where Runa wandered off to," she said to Nadia, stepping into the elevator as she waited for it to hopefully open up on whatever floor Nadia seemingly had pushed the button for.

When the door opened up, she stepped out and looked around to get her bearings, seeing that they were on the leather-working floor. Klara wasn't really too interested in the making of armor or other leather goods or something. She preferred to spend her time training with her sword or maybe playing pranks on more then a few people. Though sometimes it was always hilarious in her mind to unleash an army of goats on unsuspecting people. Oh the fun that was, to just unleash a mob of animals on some random people. "So... Now what?" she commented, looking at Nadia again.

Hotel Valhalla: Floor 472:

The man would suddenly disappear from Runa's sight, but would reappear right behind her and gave her another weird looking smile. "I am Loki, and I know that you are looking for your father." Loki said as he leaned himself up against a nearby all, the sounds of the crowds were to loud for anyone else to really hear their conversation. He turned to look at Runa again, he would flicker slightly he actually wasn't physically there with her. "I can certainly tell you where to start looking for your father, but first you'd have to help me with a little something for me however."

Hotel Valhalla: Floor 5:

Aside from a few Einherjar there doing some shopping there wasn't to much going on at the moment for her either as she watched the others going off to the elevator to find Arnora, who could help find where Runa had gone to.

Nadia Petrova & Arnora Skadidottir

Location: Hotel Valhalla: Floor 5 Gift Shop -> Floor 167

"Sure thing you guys." Arnora said as she pressed the button to both Dalisy's floor and Lara's as well, as she looked over at Dalisy and smirked a little bit at her. "I'm pretty sure that you'd end up loosing to me in a fight." Arnora said with a slight laugh as she felt the elevator move, as some random music started to play in the elevator, a few people ended up getting onto the elevator as well. Arnora turned to look at Lara and shrugged slightly. "I'm not sure really honestly." Arnora said giving a slight shrug though it was always interesting to see some new people.

Dalisy was dropped off at Floor 301, which was an odd residential floor mostly filled with a few misfits here and there. There were some Einherjar playing a card game to the death of some sort, as one of them took out a knife and started to threaten another. There wasn't much going on the floor aside from a brawl that had suddenly started, and an Einherjar ended up getting stabbed in the chest, his body flopping onto the couch as Dalisy made it to her room.

Lara was dropped off at her Floor 233, it was a lot calmer by the looks of it there were some people going on about their usual business as well, as some got onto the elevator as well and then getting off as well.

Nadia got off of the elevator as she looked around she couldn't really find Arnora just yet as she looked around for her, and turned to look at Klara and gave a slight shrug. "I guess we just have to try and find out if she is actually on this floor or not." Nadia said as she looked around to some of the work stations there, seeing some people were working on some leather armor, while some others were making some kind of handbags and purses as well. She completely ignored the random guy that tried to say hi to her, which she didn't even recognize at all really either.

"So, want to prank Elizabeth back for scaring off the new girl Runa?" Nadia asked looking over at Klara to see what she wanted to do, she certainly didn't mind getting back at the girl for scaring off Runa right away. As Nadia looked around she turned her attention over towards the elevator again seeing that it was actually the person that they were looking for which was good and made her way over towards Arnora. "Hey, Arnora could you help us find someone really quick?" Nadia asked looking over at her as she handed Arnora the money that Runa had touched. "You can keep the money, it's what the new girl Runa touched." Nadia said, knowing that her ability was kind of easier if it was something a person had touched recently.

"Sure thing." Arnora said, as she took the money and started to track where Runa was currently only getting the sense that she was somewhere on the 472 Floor. "She's on the 472, that's all that I know."

"Only because I would hold back in deference to your advanced age." Dalisy said to Arnora before they went their separate ways. Arnora was the first one off the elevator, which had left Dalisy alone with Lara. That only made Dalisy more irritated. Gods she had been having so much fun in the rapids and then Lara had to show up. It was like the world was conniving to make sure she had a bad day.

Normally Dalisy might have joined one of the chaotic card games or just joined the fight for fun, but what she wanted was to make sure her sister was okay. Lara was just so much like Niah that it was a constant reminder that Niah was mortal. She might be a demi-god, but she was still mortal. Once in her room, Dalisy reached out with her senses, found her sister, and watched. Niah was alive and well. Dalisy couldn't pick up on anything going on around her, but she knew that Niah was okay.

Dalisy flopped down on a chair and sighed. She'd get changed in a moment, but the desire to punch a wall, or someone's face, had been reduced at least.

Runa Johansson

Once Loki introduced himself, everything clicked into place. He was another one of the Norse gods, the god of mischief. She remembered vaguely stories about him cutting off Sif's hair or convincing Thor to wear drag to regain his hammer. He pretty much was connected to everything that went wrong for the Norse gods and every fiber of her being was telling her that she couldn't trust him. His image was flickering, giving her some comfort that he wasn't actually there - it was just an illusion, a trick. She took a breath, thinking over her words carefully before responding. It helped that she was rather quiet and introverted, already a person who took her time before speaking.

"My father's a nobody," she said softly. "And even if he were... a god... I don't owe him anything." She paused, locking eyes with the god. She wanted to run back into the elevator and press another button. She wanted to get away from Loki, but she couldn't. He knew something about where Balder was - and maybe if she could rescue Balder, she could stop the end of the world from happening. She could absolve herself of that spiritual debt. "So I don't have any reason to make a deal with you... Loki. You'll have to find someone else to barter with." She didn't know what she was going to ask him for if he offered her a better deal - but she hoped that he might slip up slightly and give her another clue by accident.

Elizabeth stay where she was seated, not seeing too much of a reason to start roaming around at the moment. She had some thinking to do. If she was correct and Ragnarok was heading towards them, then she either had to get her affairs in order, or prevent it. She didn't know how effective fighting against the tide of fate would be, but if the world was to end, it wasn't like not fighting against it would be oblivion any more or less empty. It felt like the "hero" thing to do, so she knew she would probably do it. People didn't write stories about those who nobly stayed at home and waited for fate to run its course.

She just hoped the Thanes would actually take her seriously. Given her age, she hoped that that would get them to listen, even if she was a little... absurd at times. She didn't make a habit off lying per say, and she hoped they knew she wouldn't mess around when it came to the end of the world. upon thinking that, she visibly winced. In all honesty, she might, which wouldn't make convincing them easy by any means. If she kept it up for long enough, she was sure they'd believe her eventually, or at least, that was what she hoped. She wasn't the best at mobilizing people on her own, she she really needed their backing here.

Lara stepped off the elevator on her floor and was thankful a bit for the calm. Yes, she enjoyed spending time with others, like Arnora and some of the other residents in the hotel, but when it came to Dalisy... the woman would not open up to Lara. They butted heads like they were a pair of goats that were fighting over the one part of the hill, when there was an entire mountain to fight upon. Lara always tried to be civil to Dalisy, but it seemed that no matter what she did, it would not matter. However, Lara did know that not everyone could be friends. It was mostly just awkward when Lara wanted to spend time with Arnora... which... was a bit of the time if she was honest to herself.

Lara headed into her room and sighed as she looked at it. In a cruel twist of fate, her room had been designed much like the little apartment she had hoped to move into with Levi when the war was over... the little apartment they would make their live together. But no, the fates had not been kind. Lara didn't even know if Levi had lived or had passed. She had never looked as it would break her heart. She knew that Levi would have never joined her here. He was a scholar, and.... she was a warrior.

She flopped out on her bed for a moment, as she wanted to take a shower but also felt herself feeling a bit drained at the moment.
