Personality:
If anything, Acion is a virtuous man, with a very firm sense of moral code and heroism, even if they are different from existing ideals. A man of action that often doesn't need any prior validation from any other people for anything he does, whether it is helping a friend in need or saving a person's life, even though the latter case might put a small brake on his decision due to past incidents. Inaction is still action to him, and it is much less regretful to act and fail rather than staying still and doing nothing. Nevertheless, he still requires his own rational reasons for what he does rather than just relying on his own idea of righteousness.
Acion is also a prideful individual. He was, after all, on the competing list for one of the more prestigious Hero school for his unique style and skilled utilization of his quirk, despite being more disadvantaged in more traditional combat circumstances. He worked hard for it, to keep up with his family tradition and his dreams, and it paid off for the most part. He had a reason to be proud of his accomplishment, and consequently his lack of tolerance for petty insults. He can put up with criticism, but he doesn't at all appreciate disrespect on his, or anybody else's, honest efforts. God forbid his mannerism when he snapped to this.
Outside of these special circumstances, he's generally not a very talkative person. He isn't afraid of conversations, but chances are he will not be the one initiating it with the other party. He does lack a little bit of conversational skill and can sometimes lead to awkward situations, but regardless Acion is an understanding fellow whose empathy and sympathy will shine through during times of need.
Background:
Acion's family was almost good up until he was getting ready for his Hero school enrolment. Born with several significant mutations from their family, who only have more conventional 2 wings, Acion at first wasn't too looked upon with great eyes. But his family tree has contained some of the very successful heroes in the past, even before heroism as a business even became a thing. It was a mark of pride, and a source of great encouragement for him to work towards his goal of being a professional hero. His older sister Aurelia Nakamiji is also one of the very promising new generation of heroes, having won first places in many region-wide tournaments, which also helps his desire to not be just the ugly duckling in the family.
Acion knew he isn't going to win any prizes with his physicality, unlike his sister who never had any issues with aerial combat, but he knew better than trying to do something he's not designed to do. He spent his free time practicing flying as high as possible, trying to push his physical and mental limits, all the while coming up with his own style of combat. Eventually he did come up with it, and it proved to be quite effective in combat tests. Mock test results began to look up for the young hero, and it seemed as if he was on track to be enrolled in a Hero school as soon as the real test period comes.
However, during a camping trip with a couple of friends a few months before, a low-threat villain passing by the area found the opportunity to make some quick buck. He consequently held one of his friends captive and was demanding ransom or else. Acion didn't hesitate to not only not comply with his demands, but also engage the villain directly in combat. While his training did allow him to hold his own against a relatively no-name villain, his inexperience with actual combat meant it was quite a mess of a fight. Eventually though, with the help of his accompanying friend, they managed to subdue the villain for the authority and saved his kidnapped friend.
It sounded great to put on his resume for professional heroism, but no. Acion was accused of vigilantism, and he had to go through a long and complicated procedure to resolve the case. His family was involved, and it took a bit of their influence to sweep the case under the rug. However, it was a permanent mark on his study record, and school after school denied his enrolment due to this reason. It was his first brush through with the reality of professional heroism, and he wasn't in any sense ready to accept this. He wouldn't talk about it, but if you ask him, he would still be proud and unrepentant of what he did that day.
Eventually, a school did accept Acion into their Hero program. A relatively lesser known school with limited hero classes, but it would still give him a chance to actually become an actual professional hero.
Quirk:
Archangel Wings: Acion has a total of six wings, three pairs in total, two stretching from the back of his shoulders and four more from his backs. This magnanimous number allows him very long durations of flights and quick ascension high into from any potential sudden threats. The wings are quite sturdy and can withstand high pressures and beatings before giving in. However, having many wings to manage proves to be huge problem as it greatly hampered his agility in the air, turning back and forth in quick succession. The problem is twofold providing he is in ground combat, as he also became a relatively large silhouette to be targeted.
Other:
The Nakamiji family are great flyers, and so is Acion. He luckily inherited the family's great eyesight, capable of spotting small targets from high above, along with enhanced lung capacity, which allowed him to hold his breath underwater along with flying at higher altitude, where oxygen level is lower, for an extended period of time.
Acion is also an aviation enthusiast. He loved to play around with kites when he was a little kid, and still does if he was given the opportunity to. He also enjoys reading about aerodynamics, and often applies physics to his advantage to mitigate his shortcomings when it comes to agility.
Acion also likes swimming and he likes to come to the swimming pool at least once or twice a week.
