Any of y'all can roll me a Card game check using intelligence if you're proficient in card games, or a perception check.

Perception check:

You can tell that the chip is fairly worn. It's very flat, the paint is peeling, and the edges have been chipped away. Underneath the paint coating, you can see that it's some sort of rather cheap ply wood and the fact it wasn't splintering already was likely due to said paint coating. Finally you can notice that the spider image on the surface isn't perfectly centered and seems to lean more towards the left side.

You recognize that this is a poker chip. Poker being a general term for any card games really, and most card games on the road is played using regular copper/silver/gold coins, but more organized establishments will use chips to hedge the favor towards the house (You need to pay the house to even play, regardless if you win or lose your chips) and to show that the establishment is generally better than your average game of blackjack at a pub.

You know most of the drow gambling halls are built on the deeper end of the Eastern, as those areas can also facilitate better underground areas to keep the drow out from sunlight. Aside from that however you wouldn’t know which specific gambling hall the chip comes from, what with spiders and drow being a fairly common motif.

So we're gunna expedite the RP part of this a bit. If you're going to try and gather information, you can choose to do one of the following:

Talk to the Criers. These are guys usually set up outside of bars, clubs, and gambling halls trying to advertise their businesses. Most of them are fairly professional and generally won't go out of their way to direct you to other competitors, but a sufficiently strong or sweet word (Intimidation or Persuasion) can get some information out of them.

Talk to the homeless. These are vagrants and orphans who generally migrate around the city either doing odd jobs or petty thefts. They go a lot of places so there's a good chance you might find the right one who might've seen Sandwich or the Drow Gang. Naturally of course they don't give this information for free. They want at least 20 GP for any information, though they could be persuaded to lower the price unless you can offer a better deal (Persuasion).

Finally you can simply start looking on your own. Unfortunately, Gilgan already disposed of the drow corpse so not really a way to use the body itself. However you do still have the chip, and Eastern Paladros is relatively smaller than the other sections. You'd simply roll a Perception or Investigation check and we'll see what leads you can find.

If there's any other means or methods you wanna try, just ask em here.

I assume you're talking to a crier. Here's his response.

"Whoa whoa, calm down. I'm just trying to do my job here. That chip looks fake as fuck. A real poker chip is suppose to have ridges, made of copper or some sort of metal. The spider should be carved too, not painted. Anyways that looks like it's from the Daughters of Chaos. They're a Cult Casino underneath the old bell tower. They're dangerous and the Daughters can even gamble with your very soul, but you can win power from them if you can survive their games. Which is probably why they have so many fanatic in their ranks. Watch yourself down there."

With your original roll of 15, here’s what you can track:

Sandwich’s scent leads you towards the gambling dens, unsurprisingly. Furthermore it leads you near an old bell tower however it doesn’t lead you in. It instead leads you to a somewhat upscale Bathhouse. Upscale in the sense that there were private guards on the scene the keep out riffraff and make sure their operations were not bothered by unruly folks. The scent ends here.

This man is legitimately drunk, but you also know homeless bums like him are often paid to serve as informants and spies for the various gangs and investigators in the city. While he’s likely only talking to you because he’s drunk and isn’t thinking very straight, it also means if y’all give him any information about who you are or what you’re doing, he might sell you out if the opprotunity presents itself.

At the same time on his current state he can also be easily exploited for information. Grease his wheels, give him the run-around, or simply charm him into telling you important information he otherwise would’ve kept a secret if he was in full control of his mental faculties.

Cool, time to work your stuff. Roll me a persuasion check please, @Rune_Alchemist. Remember with your ability if you happen to roll less then a 17, we treat your roll as if you did. So this mostly applies if you can roll higher than a 10 on the die.

@Lucius Cypher

Now that was a terrible roll

11, but as you said with the Silver Tongue ability we treat any roll of nine or lower as a ten, so that should be an 18.

unless I did a math wrong somewhere.

I thought you had a +7 to Persuasion, but I forgot you rolled well for your charisma. Cool. So here's what you know:

The orc smiled as you got close to him, feeling quite randy for no good reason. Seeing the chip he blinked before his smile twisted a bit. "Ayo, I remember this! Damn daughters kicked me out of their casino for using it! Fucking drow man. I think I got this... What, somewhere around here. Real dump of a place. Wait wait wait, I remember now! I won a couple of these chips from some skeever behind the bath house. They got a lil dive back there. Played some cards with them, won some tokens, and tried to use it at the Daughter's but they said the chips were fake man! I'd kick their asses if they didn't have so many goons around." The orc says as he takes a swig from his bottle. He looks over to Lei with a mischievous smirk. "Hey hey, I got a great idea how to fuck em over! Why do y'all say? Wanna help an old orc out?"

As mentioned before, this man is drunk and it’s not unusual for guys like him to sell information to gangs and others for money, so sticking his nose into other peoples business or facilitating them to do stuff like gamble or whatever could potentially allow him to use that info to gain something in the future.

Given that he wants your guys help betting on a fight, he might also be inadvertently sizing you guys up concern your martial abilities. After all, only people really confident in their fisticuffs would wanna do weaponless, armorless scrapping. Of course winning some money is also as much an important factor as learning more about your guys abilities in the event he needs or wants to sell your information to people.

Lastly, while he doesn’t mention this, you can also infer that there’s something he’s not telling you about these Fisticuff brawls. It’s like he’s intentionally trying to undersell the actual difficulty of the bouts to make it sound less of a challenge and conversely, make the group think it’ll be easy money.
