Niah wasn't paying attention to where they were, at least not till she got a text from Cass. It made a little of the stress she had lighten up. Cass was okay. And she wasn't texting a list of the dead. So whatever they had gotten into had ended with their little team intact. That was a relief. Her phone did seem to be trying to keep up with time zones. Talk about be jet-lagged. Good thing she had had a nice little nap under the help of some sedation and blood loss.

"We're meeting our team at the Jersey City Boardwalk." She told Dr. Larson. When she looked up she saw the look on Oliver's face. She knew that look. Had seen it enough times on her own when the world seemed so in danger there would be no way they could save it. "Oliver, we've got this. We have done so much already. You've done so much already. You figured this out ages ago. You're two steps ahead of everyone else. And we're getting the team together. And we've got extra help."

She was rambling a bit. God those drugs needed to get out of her system. Good thing they had a week. That at least gave her some time to get some walking in with her new super cool alien tech leg. She definitely was gonna play with that thing for a bit and let Sparky check it out. Cass's text told her that her buddy was good too, and had probably found Raynor, which was a relief. He might be a pain but he wasn't Flynn's level of pain in the ass. Yep, now she was just mentally rambling.

Secure in a seat this time, Matt tilted his head at the question of why they kept calling Folly a kid. "I don't know she just has that...kid-like quality." He shrugged. She was weird, and he was glad she was gone. A new person joined them and Matt tensed a little. He didn't like the idea of having an unknown on the ship. One that Andrew brought on. Another person they knew nothing about and could guarantee was safe. Though, Breacher, the guy who had had it out for Cass during the fight but had knocked himself out was gone as well. Left at Serval.

He didn't know much about the company, he'd ask later. He didn't care to continue the conversation at the moment. So, he sat in his seat thinking. Trying to come up with a plan, but it was hard to have a plan when you didn't know where or who the enemy was even. It could be anyone. The first thing they needed was a guaranteed way to figure out who was a Skrull and who wasn't. After that, they could deal with the Skrull.

Oliver Sullivan

Location: The Ship
Skills: N/A

Two things occured to Oliver as Dr. Larson spoke, the first was that apparently Fury was aware of Oliver's existence as an agent and was impressed by him, which was both terrifying and emboldening. The second, was that they had crossed the ocean at a speed that seemed totally impossible. Travel like this put the Quinjet to shame, and he quite frankly had to know how on Earth it worked. He piped up and said, "Hey, at some point, when all this craziness has gone away, and the Earth is safe, can I take a peek at some of your tech? I gotta know what makes all this stuff tick."

Oliver gave a melancholic smile at Niah, "Two steps ahead, maybe, but look at where it got us. Maybe if I had been forward with the team about the threat, we wouldn't even be here." He shrugged, before continuing, "I can't know if I helped or hurt the situation, and I can't know if there were better things we could have done. All that matters is where we are now, and how we get out of it." He was a realist, in a lot of ways. The situation, for all it could be, seemed pretty even at the moment, they had a shot, and had some asymmetrical advantage against the Skrulls, but they could be hiding information to give them a false sense of security. Looking down at his phone, he texted.
To Cassandra:
"At the speed we're traveling, we'll be there in no time, can't wait to get back to work."

Maria Novikova

Location: Skrull Prison Ship
Skills: N/A

Maria sat in the corner of her cell, she wasnt sure how long she had been on the ship for the only thing that she was able to remember was leaving the HUB to go home. She didnt live on base like the rest of the members of the team did, she was refueling her car when Skrulls snuck up behind her had jabbed her with a needle knocking her out. Then waking up occasionally only for them to drug her again, this was the first time she had a clear mind in awhile, hearing the cell to her door opening.

Seeing the skrull with a large needle approaching her, she waited until it was within arms reach when she struck the skrull let out a surprised screeching sound Maria managed to take off her glove. Maria used her life force absorption power on the skrull to knock it out. She slowly started to stumble out of the cell and started to look around, she peered into the cell next to hers seeing Johnny Storm was out cold still.

The cell right next to Maria was occupied by Roman, she hears himt pounding up against the ray shield trying to getting her attention. "Reed!" he whisper-shouted. Maria turned her attention over towards the cell next to her, seeing that it was Roman, she remembered seeing him as a skrull back during the Christmas party not to long ago.

"Uhm, i'm not Cass give me a second." Maria said as she quickly went back into her cell, she was surprised that the alarms hadnt sounded off yet. She approached her captor and started to search its pockets, before finding the keycard to open up the cell and quickly went back out. "Hopefully it's not going to ask for a code." Maria said as she took the card and swiped it looking over at him. "Whats the last thing you remember?" She asked him.

The ray shielding in front of the cell was shut off, allowing Roman to leave - or conversely, Maria to enter. Roman stared at her almost with disbelief. "Right, Smith, sorry... It's been a while," he then added. "Erm, how long.... has it been? The last thing I remember I was in San Fransisco, going out to buy Christmas presents."

Maria took a step back letting Roman step out of his cell, and started to think for a moment she really wasnt sure how long she had been out. "The last day I remember it was May Seventh." Maria said as she started to walk over towards the other two cells looking over at the Human Torch laying on the floor and unlocked the cell door with the keycard and handed it over towards Roman. "Here open up the other cell." Maria told him, as Maria went to try and wake Johnny Storm up.

Roman mouthed May seventh to himself, with the creeping realization that he had been gone for almost half a year. Had anyone noticed? Had they gone looking for him? His hands were trembling as he took the keycard and unlocked the last cell in their little area, staring at the unconscious, incredibly muscular, green skinned woman in a power suit in the cell. "Um...." Roman said, before shaking the woman slightly.

She-Hulk gasped as she woke up. Everything was spinning and she felt like she was going to hurl. "Ugh... Why'd they have to pick me for this arc... Why couldn't they have picked Bruce..."

Maria knelt down next to Johnny as she heard him muttering to himself, and shook her head slightly at what he was saying. "But Mr. Potato Head I'm straight..." Maria then slapped him hoping that would wake him up. "Time to wake up hothead." Maria said, as she looked over at Roman. "Is she okay to move over there?" Maria called out.

"I, uh, think so?" Roman said hesitantly. "Are you good?" he asked the incredible She-Hulk. He sweated slightly, not wanting to do anything to get on her bad side, and he figured that answering for her was probably one way to do that for sure.

"I'm fine, just give me a minute," Jennifer grumbled. She had shut her eyes and had her fingers pressed into her temple, trying to rid herself of this nauseous feeling. She was lucky that being a Hulk, she healed pretty quickly. The drugs were already beginning to wear off. Unluckily, that meant that the skrulls would definitely be sending someone else this way soon to drug She-Hulk again, so they were running out of time. There was also the fact that someone probably would have noticed the skrull doctor didn't return from his rounds too.

Johnny Storm is fine, he's just very dazed, looking at Maria and not really understanding what's going on at all. "What... happened...?" he asked, trying to sit up but he wasn't really able to.

"Well, short story is that we got snatched up by shapeshifting aliens called the Skrulls, and they probably anal probed you to or something like that." Maria said as she offered a hand to help him back up. "We need to get going." Maria said as she started to leave Johnny's cell, they probably didnt have much time before more of them showed up. She looked over at Roman and She-Hulk seeing that she looked like she was back on her feet again and motioned for them to follow her as she took back the keycard from Roman and made her way out of the cellblock. She noticed the central elevator along with a rather large gap. "Lets see if there are any other cellblocks and see if we can get other prisoners out."

Roman, She-Hulk, and the Human Torch followed along with Maria. The Human Torch was being half held up by She-Hulk, as otherwise he would have fallen to the ground, smashing his beautiful face against the floor. Roman's eyes widened as they emerged into the central area, paling as he took in the drop. There weren't proper railings or anything to prevent them from falling. It was just a few feet of ground and then nothing.

"Lets get across and be really careful." Maria said as she looked over at Roman for a moment, remembering what his power was from the brief time she worked with him. "Hey, Roman you got some tech power or whatever right could you try and loop the camera feeds for our cellblock that way they wont know that we escaped?" Maria asked as she started to make her way over towards the central elevator and called it down a few seconds later the elevator came down and opened Maria quickly got inside it holding the door open for the others.

Kwassi Asokho

Location: Quinjet
Skills: Photographic Memory : 16

Kwassi was sitting there quietly as he awaited for a take off that never came. His eyes opening up as he heard the sounds of Hawkeye calling for final boarding in his own special way. It was thanks to that minor distraction that he was able to notice something out of the corner of his eye, Bonnie's jerk reaction to something that was happening about them. Looking around he didn't see anyone new, no other people besides those leaving the quinjet for Serval industries. Leaving him to wonder what it was that had the tough combat veteran so spooked. Agent Reeds managed to beat him to the punch, asking if she was alright, something Agent Chase would be more likely to answer with her than himself. Before Kwassi could do anything a red headed woman walked in, her pose was poised and steps with purpose. There was definitely some skill behind her that was noticeable to those of them same. Agent Chase had a similar sense about her, someone with the prowess to match his own in combat without the need for lasers, magic, or what ever other gift the x-gene could give them.

Kwassi looked at everyone in the room for a moment, taking in all the minor little details another might miss. One that hopefully a Skrull would miss. He counted buttons on shirts, looked for any scuffings, stains, or markings that would otherwise differentiate them from an imposter...hopefully. The new comer sat quietly in the room, no introductions, or how are you's. Just an air of mystery surrounding her. Kwassi didn't want her to gain any knowledge on what was going on with Agent Chase. He didn't know if he could trust her, skrull or not, so he decided to engage her in conversation so that she may have her attention pulled towards him. "The names Kwassi, I don't believe I caught yours. But if we are to work together perhaps we can exchange information, names, and where our talents lay."

"Ray you can't just ignore people constantly or just tune them out, that's rude," Sparky commented after Raynor flat out admitted that he had essentially ignored everything that Amelia had said. Sure, she did seem to talk a lot and she partially wondered how it was that she didn't have any breathing problems with regards to how much she tended to say without taking a breath, but that was besides the point. "It was self defense, since he attacked first and tried to harm us just a few moments before he got the dagger to the head, so not really any moral complaints there..."

She couldn't help but roll her eyes given what Raynor and Amelia were doing, essentially arguing about everything now. Whether or not they should just dump the body or not. Personally Sparky didn't want to be stuck on the ship with a dead body, but that was just her opinion. Another thing stuck out to her with what Raynor was saying though, "Ray, you do realize we aren't actually married yet right? Secondly Amelia, we can simply explain what happened rather easily, but based on what's going on we don't exactly have time to do anything but dump the body, okay?"

"Now see you say that but she's kind of been like that since she actually I'm pretty sure was a kid," he commented towards Matt before he walked over towards the ramp and leaned up slightly to address Andrew since the guy was leaving with the crazy person. "Remember be careful unless you want to end up losing an eye like agent Reed did," he commented towards him, "Other recommendation is don't let her out of your sight or you'll end up with a bit of a blood bath in there." he warned him.

"Definitely will keep that in mind," Andrew responded, before waving slightly towards Eve and heading inside of the building with the others who had gotten off at Serval.

Alex turned his attention to what was going on onboard of the quinjet as someone else was joining the group from Serval. He didn't know if they were able to trust her, especially since she could be a skrull for all they knew, but he thought that considering they seemed to be rather trusting of him (even if more then a few of them had threatened his life) he figured that they could trust her, at least until she had proven otherwise. Having spoken to Andrew before he left, Alex headed back towards his seat and sat back down strapping in again, giving a slight friendly wave towards Evelyn, but not saying anything towards her given that she was being spoken to by Kwassi. Though a small part of him had been tempted to interrupt him just to be petty.

Flynn didn't really remember much of what exactly had happened before he had ended up on the ship or wherever it was that he had ended up with the Skrulls. He also wasn't entirely sure how long he had been there, just knowing that it had been a while. The drugs that were constantly getting pumped into his system was not exactly a good thing and it made it so that he had been constantly out of it. Except for now that is, as right now he seemed to just have a major hangover. With his head partially cleared for once (though in all honesty he was somewhat used to hangovers so he knew how to be able to function somewhat correctly even with it. When the Skrull entered his cell he wasted no time in taking an opportunity to surprise him, and within seconds he had his hands on the Skrull's neck and there was a crack as he snapped it. With that, he edged out of his cell somewhat, glancing around to see somewhat who was in the area with him, and he was surprised to see half of the Fantastic Four and Black Widow were all on the same floor of this ship as he was. That probably was not good.

"Hey, Agent, if you wouldn't mind opening up my cell before the greens come and end this little prison break."

He heard Black Widow's voice say something about trying to open up her cell and he glanced at the pad that seemed to be what was locking it. Since it appeared to need a keycard or code number, he went back to the Skrull he had killed and started looking through its pockets before he finally came up with what he needed, that being an actual keycard. "Alright this should work," he muttered before he used the card and managed to get the door open to let her out. "This is going to be fun, wonder who else is on this ship," he commented, stepping to the side now, before glancing at the other two cells and seeing half of the Fantastic Four. That couldn't be good.

Natasha stepped out of the cell and stretched her arms, glad to finally be freed - although she hadn't been there very long. She had tried some old spy tricks and hadn't been able to get any sort of signal out - or if she had managed it, no one heard. She looked at the unconscious members of the Fantastic Four in their cells. They'd just slow them down. "We need to scout out the rest of this place, get an idea of what we're up against," Natasha ordered. "And then, we're going to take it over."

"Sounds like a plan to me," he said in response, nodding his head. It was as good of a plan as any, given the fact that they were kind of stuck on an alien space ship without any idea where in space they were at the moment. Carefully, he edged his way down the hallway, keeping an eye out for anymore Skrulls. Eventually he found his way to an intersection with 4 hallways, though it seemed to drop off almost. It took a moment for him to realize that it was an elevator. Okay, now to pick a direction at random. He glanced back the direction he came from towards Black Widow, before he moved over to peer down the hallway to his immediate left. Looking down, he saw a room full of monitors and what looked to be 10 more Skrulls or so. Seeing that, he moved back over to Black Widow. "This leads to a central room of sorts with three other hallways connecting to it and an elevator in the middle. The hallway to the immediate left from the center leads to a room full of monitors and at least 10 of the Skrulls. There might be more though."

Black Widow nodded, thinking it over. She didn't believe that they were the only prisoners on this ship. The Fantastic Four weren't really in any condition to help them out, but maybe there would be others. She didn't like their chances of taking on a bunch of skrulls without weapons anyways. "What's your power?" Natasha asked him. "I assume you had one, otherwise they wouldn't have drugged you so aggressively."

He thought for a moment, wondering if now would be the time to try and see if his powers would want to work despite all odds. Flynn glanced down at the shirt that he was wearing, feeling the material slightly with his hand before letting it drop. Yup, just as he thought, his shirt would be a total goner if he used his powers and wasn't trying to hurt someone. "Fire. Like, Human Torch levels of fire. Shoot fireballs, basically be consumed entirely by flames. That sort of thing," he said to her, not fully admitting the fact that he didn't care too much for his powers and preferred guns and ammo in a fight, but considering they only had their hands to work with at this point, he wasn't going to say that since they were likely going to need any sort of fire power (both figurative and literal in his case) that they didn't really have a choice but to use them.

"Hmph. As long as you don't have the attitude of the Human Torch, we'll be fine," Black Widow commented dryly. She didn't used to mix in humor with her work, but after hanging around with the other Avengers for a while she had become a bit of a quipster. It was an occupational hazard. Even Banner had learned to have a sense of humor. "I say we free the others here and then try the other hallways, break out as many people as we can, and then in a group we can take the bridge."

He couldn't help but roll his eyes slightly at her comment, "Sounds like fun to me, taking control of a ship from aliens," he responded to her, before he walked back down the way that they had gone and went over to the cell that belonged to the Invisible Woman and opened it up, going over to see about shaking her awake slightly, and after shaking her slightly for a moment, he went back to the other cell where Mr. Fantastic was and unlocked the door, before doing the same thing. "Here's hoping these two can get moving or something," he added, not exactly sure how drugged up the pair were going to be.

Shockingly, Mr. Fantastic and the Invisible Woman were both conscious and alert. Perhaps it had something to do with the strange cosmic process that gave them their powers. Maybe the skrull in charge of the injections had accidentally brought them a flu shot instead of a sedative this time. Or even more bizarrely, they could have just gotten lucky for once. "Thank you," the Invisible Woman said, as she moved out of her cell, just a bit unsteady on her feet.

"Yes, yes, thank you," Mr. Fantastic said quickly and dismissively. "Now if you'll all quiet down, I can think of a plan to get us out of here. You're welcome, by the way."

"Right, you do that then, but might I suggest maybe paying attention to your still pregnant wife for a moment too to make sure you know, she's okay, but by all means keep being full of yourself," he commented to Richards before he headed off to go back to the central area and the elevator was there, as were a few other people and one he instantly recognized, "Hey there Maria, fun there is a whole lot of us here now, 3 out of 4 members of the Fantastic Four a few Avengers, let's see who else is here." He wasn't even really phased by suddenly running into Maria or anyone else for that matter, before he headed down the one hallway that no one seemed to be coming from. Walking down, he found 4 more cells with a few familiar faces.

"Was starting to wonder if anyone was going to get out of these cells one of these days, was starting to get beyond bored in here," came the voice of Tony Stark from one of the cells.

"Why does it not surprise me that you are here," Flynn commented with an eye roll before he started going around the cells and unlocking them. "Our total number of people freed just keeps going on up at this point, we might actually have a slight chance against the Skrulls now so this will be fun."

Roman nodded at Maria, blushing slightly. He had a bad habit of forgetting to use his power in important situations. Truthfully, he didn't want to admit it to anyone, but he was a horrible technopath. He was lucky he never ended up in a situation where he was surrounded by robots or something, as then everyone would know. He closed his eyes and concentrated, visualizing the networks and systems that operated on the ship, until he found the cameras and looped the feed. He was relieved that he had been able to do it. "Done, Smith," Roman acknowledged. "Um... Should we go after him?" he then added, looking off at the way Flynn had gone.

"He'll be back in a few replies," She-Hulk predicted, as she stepped into the elevator, dragging Johnny Storm with her. Mister Fantastic and a clearly pregnant Invisible Woman emerged from the way Flynn had come, with Reed muttering something like "stupid Jock" under his breath as the Invisible Woman rolled her eyes.

Maria turned her attention to see that it was Flynn she was glad to see someone that she actually did know seeing that Sue and Reed were there as well to and waved towards them. She looked at She-Hulk and Johnny for a moment, they needed to stick together right now. "Hold the elevator i'll be right back." Maria said as she started to quickly catch up to Flynn as she heard Tony's voice along with Maria Hills. "So whats the plan, takeover the entire ship and head back home or find some kind of escape pod or shuttle?"

"It's good to see you, Agent. Don't mind Stark, he's been missing the sight of his own reflection."

"Wow straight shot there! You are so kind," Tony responded as he got out of his own cell after Flynn unlocked the door.

Turning his attention to Maria he shrugged, "Well from what Black Widow was saying we are going to apparently try and take over the ship, since that way we've got a straight shot back home, and let's be honest there are probably enough people with brains who can probably figure out how to fly this ship, maybe," he said to her, before he unlocked the remaining cells and looked at Hill. "Things could be worse, but then again we also are all on this ship for who even knows how the hell long it's been. We need to get moving though, there seems to be 12 of us at this point, when I glanced at what looked like the bridge area it seemed to have at least 10 Skrulls on it, but there could easily be more over there, didn't get too close to see."

"What's Earth's status?" Maria Hill asked. Captain Marvel was having a hard time concentrating, the Kree had really done a number on her. Not only had they drugged her, but they had some weird electronics taped onto her forehead, looking like they were designed to interfere with brain activity or something.

"Not good, I'm guessing," Black Widow answered. "The director of S.H.I.E.L.D. and the Avengers were replaced by shapeshifting aliens for god knows what reason, I'm not exactly optimistic about what we're going to go home to."

"Okay cool, then take over the bridge sounds like an easy enough plan, there could be more on the other decks theres a central elevator back over there." Maria said, she turned towards one of the cells and made her way inside of it seeing the shape that Captain Marvel was in and quickly ripped them off of her head and threw them onto the ground. Maria then turned to look at Director Hill for a moment asking the status of Earth. "I'm not sure whats the last date you remember?" Maria asked her.

"December 2nd," Hill answered simply. She knew many days had come and gone since then, she remembered each of them - the main issue was that she hadn't been on Earth since then.

"I mean we can always hope that things haven't gone to hell in the meantime, but knowing how our luck typically works out that isn't going to be the case at all and there might be more then a few things blown up or something like that," he commented as he looked at the others in the group. He wasn't entirely sure what they could do, but hopefully the world would still be there when (or really if) they got back. Hopefully they wouldn't crash the ship, but they had a few of the smartest people in the world on the ship, so he figured they'd be able to figure it out. He was curious about how long Hill had been here too.

"Maybe you two could go scout the other areas of the ship with the elevator. A large group would make too much noise, and with your powers, you won't need to worry about defending yourselves," Natasha suggested. "If you don't return in 10 minutes, we'll assume you ran into trouble and we'll take the bridge ourselves."

"Works for me, though I kinda need to borrow someone's power for a bit though if anyone wants to offer. Since i'm pretty sure that the skrulls might have another persons powers or something." Maria said, though she was confident without using any powers, she did usually prefer to use her bow and she was good with fighting in close quarters to.

"You can borrow my powers if you want to Maria, or someone else's doesn't matter too much to me, let's get going," he responded to her, before heading out back to the elevator in the center of the area, stepping in and holding it in place for Maria to follow after him. Whether she got a power from someone else or him, it would depend on what she wanted to do, at the moment he was just waiting for her to show up at the elevator so that they could get moving.

"Since you are offering thank you." Maria said as she reached over and grabbed onto Flynn's arm making direct skin contact with it, feeling some of his power coursing through her now. "Alright lets get going then." Maria said looking towards the others before following Flynn over towards the central elevator in the room of the ship.

Skrull Prison Ship - Orbiting Saturn

The assorted superheroes had huddled up into a bit of a group, with the Invisible Woman sitting on the ground and doing some breathing exercises while her husband examined her. A lot of them were in need of medical attention after everything that had been done to them, with Captain Marvel being in pretty bad shape, almost as bad as the Human Torch. Maria Hill had some combat medic experience so she was also giving everyone a once over, while Black Widow was assessing what sort of combat strategies they had access to - and Tony, of course, was boasting about his feats, "I'm just saying, in a fair fight, I would have stopped all of these skrulls in like ten minutes tops," he said to She-Hulk, who just rolled her eyes and nodded politely.

"Hey, I'm coming with you," a woman with dark bobbed hair said - Hope van Dyne aka the Wasp. She didn't want to be around for Tony Stark's dick measuring event and she didn't have the medical expertise to help those who were drugged out of their minds. But she did have one thing compelling her to go with Flynn and Maria - she didn't trust anyone but herself. She figured they would turn out to be idiots and if she left her life in the hands of idiots, well, nothing good would come of that.

Mar-Vell's Ship - New Jersey: 10:00 P.M.

"Of course - I'd be happy to teach you, hell, I'm in need of a new collaborator if you'd be interested," Dr. Larson said, smiling at Oliver. Unlike the Kree, who were an emotionless warring people, Mar-Vell was all about kindness and curiosity.

Dr. Larson then nodded, pulling out her phone and quickly googling Jersey City Boardwalk so she could quickly get the coordinates for it. Even with all of her advanced Kree technology, sometimes it was just faster to Google search something. She plugged in the coordinates and continued to fly the ship so smoothly it was like they were flying in a cloud - an insanely fast cloud, given that in less than ten minutes they had journeyed from Nova Scotia to New Jersey. Dr. Larson peered down at the boardwalk on her monitors, looking for a good spot to land.

"Hmm, parking looks pretty full..." she mused. The only open spots would be right in the walkway and she then hesitated, noticing something on her scans. There was an Asgardian ship parked in the middle of one of the walkways. It had its cloaking drive turned on, but it wasn't a match for the Kree ship's sensors, not after Mar-Vell had specially modified them of course. "Do you know any Asgardians?" she then asked them.

Serval Industries, Virginia - Quinjet: 10:00 P.M.

Bonnie glanced up at Cass as she felt her friend put a gentle hand on her, and she considered how to answer for a moment. A lot had happened - not just this week, but over the past year or so. She still didn't have an explanation for what had happened with the Black Order, how she had survived when her neck should have been snapped so easily. And between House of M and Ultron, they had experienced their fair share of alternate realities. Flynn was missing too, replaced by an alien and shapeshifters had taken over the Avengers. "Yeah, I'm fine - just thought I heard something," Bonnie answered. "It's probably just stress."

As if to make her point, Bonnie rubbed at her eyes slightly - she could feel the little bits of rheum in at the corners, signs that she was in need of some rest. She was hopeful that wherever Hawkeye was taking them could actually accommodate everyone. They had about half of the Avengers, half of the Secret Warriors, the President of the United States, and some random lady from Serval Industries on the plane. They weren't exactly a small party.

"Taking off now, a-holes. Let's do better about strapping in this time, Hawkeye said over the intercom, as the ship lifted off. "Next stop, god help us, is New fucking Jersey."

Jersey City Boardwalk - New Jersey: 10:00 P.M

"I still think dumping the body is a bad idea..." Amelia protested, but Raynor didn't really give her a chance to say much else. He grabbed the body and went to what looked like a glorified trash chute, shoving it in and having to kick at it a bit to get it to go through. Amelia glanced at the monitors and saw a brief blip indicating that the body had indeed been tossed and would end up going splat somewhere in Jersey City.

"I said fiancée, not wife, you need to get your ears checked Sparks," Raynor lied to Sparky, rubbing his hands on his Jedi robes a bit.

A few minutes went by and Amelia now needed to figure out a crucial and vital maneuver - how to land the flying yellow spaceship they had borrowed from the Asgardian hippies. They were hovering over the boardwalk and as far as she could tell, no one was screaming and running in fear, so they must have had some sort of cloaking active. She tilted controls forward, but that only made the ship tilt, and she frowned, before getting an idea. She lowered the controls and noticed that the ship began to descend slowly - she continued this pattern, just lowering the glorified Wii-motes until she was practically touching the ground with them. The ship settled in nicely onto the boardwalk, a giant invisible obstacle that was definitely disrupting the flow of traffic.

"Hopefully this is quick, I really don't wanna know what sort of tickets you get for parking an alien spaceship in the middle of a walkway," Amelia commented, pressing the power button on the left Wii-remote and the ship hummed as it powered off. There wasn't a ramp for them to use, instead they'd need to just open up the one door and walk on out, but the door wasn't really high up so it wouldn't be much of an issue. "Aaanyways I call this a successful flight! By the by, this means we're all officially astronauts now, eh? And I'm a space pilot or whatever the exact term is, think they still might be sorting that one out, maybe space ace? or just spAce, with an extra little umph on the ace part?"

"It's just pilot," Raynor told her, as he got up and offered a hand to Sparky. He then frowned slightly. Despite living on Earth for so long, he still didn't know a lot about Midgardian biology. "Sparks... Shouldn't you be lying down or something anyways? The baby's Asgardian, if it kicks, it might break you," he explained, unaware of the ironic parallel of their situation to the plot of Twilight Breaking Dawn.

Meanwhile, Amelia headed to the door and popped it open, staring out into the electrified darkness of the downtown Jersey City. Hotels and restaurants lined the boardwalks, with a steady crowd of tourists and college aged kids strutting the boardwalk in their finest.

"You can't know or predict everything. But honestly like thumbs up, dude." Niah smiled and gave Oliver two thumbs up. "Other than Thor. Though I've never met him, cause he was dead, he's better now. I did meet his daughter though. Oh and his niece. I think, honestly, I have no idea how the family tree works for them. Like is Runa his aunt? Or like a third cousin twice removed? Definitely met his daughter though. But really that could have not happened? There are three realities bumping around my nogging. I'm certain Runa and Klara was in one of them. I hope they are doing okay. Did Runa find Lance again?"

Niah cut herself off, she was rambling. It was like getting your wisdom teeth removed, zero filters, she had to pull herself together. Yes. I know at least one Asgardian. Though only one would reasonably be here." She frowned, that meant Sparky had found Raynor. And she hadn't helped. She had been too distracted with the damn Hill's laws that she hadn't helped her friend in need. She had fucked up. "He's kind of a jerk, but he's better than some other people I know. Do you see someone with dark hair and a massive chip on his shoulder?" They'd have to find Flynn too she supposed. Did that mean others who had been taken by the Skrulls were still alive too?

"The Skrulls when they take people, what do they do with them? Like they don't kill them do they? And why? Like if they keep them what's the point?" She asked Dr. Larson. "Why do they do it anyway? Like what is the point of taking over people and the government of a world? I don't get it, the motivation."

Matt was strapped in this time. He hadn't unstrapped after he had sat down. He reached over and took Cass's free hand. The team was reuniting. The tensions would be high, he knew that. Everyone was upset, with good reason. They'd have to talk it through. For now, though they could just appreciate that the Secret Warriors would be in the same room again.

"We'll get through this Bonnie. We can get a plan made and maybe some food." He smiled. Food was good for making people feel better. That and tea, but that was the British in him. Consider Cass was also British she might enjoy a good cuppa too. Hopefully wherever Hawkeye was taking them had a stove, tea and food (in that order). He was normally a coffee person but wanting tea meant he was stressed too.

Cassandra made sure that she had strapped herself in she turned her attention over towards Bonnie as her friend answered her, and nodded slightly. Everyone had been through a lot over the last year or so, and stress could get to you at some point because of the job as well to, she gently gave Bonnie's shoulder a rub. "If you want to, you can request sometime off or something after all of this you do deserve a vacation." Cass said giving Bonnie a smile. Her attention quickly turned towards Matt and gave him a loving smile, and gently held his hand while looking over at him some food wouldnt be bad either at some point and she started to remember their first date together.

She was tempted to give him a kiss at the moment, but she knew that it wouldnt really look professional. "Hopefully we can figure all of this out soon once everyone is back together." Cass said as she looked at everyone else, before feeling her phone going off seeing a text from Oliver she wasnt even sure how he had gotten to the other side of the world and back in the last few hours. "It looks like Oliver and Niah are already at our meeting spot." Cassandra said her eyes then turned to the redhead as she started to speak.

Evelyn turned her eyes over to Kwassi as he introduced himself to her, and gave him a slight smile. "I'm Evelyn Holder, I work for the X-Factor team. I'm a mutant as well if you were wondering, my powers are enhanced condition and adoptive muscle memory. Which means I can easily pick up a skill say a fighting style of some kind after simply watching someone do it and replicate it easily." Evelyn answered Kwassi, she wasnt really comfortable with revealing any of her personal life with anyone really. She looked at Jacobson and nodded towards him, she wasnt sure how the US President was even here for.

"It's nice to meet you Mr. President." Evelyn said as she got up and extended her hand over towards him to shake after she had strapped herself in after hearing Hawkeye over the radio. She wasnt sure what he meant by that but Evelyn didnt want to really get injured because he decided to land roughly or there was some turbulence in the air.

Maria looked over her shoulder seeing Hope Van Dyne walking over towards her and Flynn saying that she was going to join them and nodded towards her. "The more the merrier I always say." Maria said giving her a smile, Novikova worked with her over at Pym Tech and with the West Coast Avengers and knew she could trust her. Maria pressed the button for the elevator and took a step inside of the elevator.

Maria looked at all of the buttons to the other decks she wasnt sure what to actually press, and chose a random deck at random, she looked at the two of them. "So, what are you guys going to do when we get out of here?" Maria asked she started to think of taking sometime off for herself she did have a family after all as well to.

Oliver Sullivan

Location: The Ship

Oliver beamed at Dr. Larson, access to alien technology, and collaborating with somebody obviously brilliant? That was almost more than he could ask for. Plus, she was from the stars, meaning she might know things about his lineage. He didn't care much about Thanos as a father, that was for sure, but a part of him was curious about who his mom might of been, or just what the purple space emperor had done to this universe. All of that, combined with the fact that, as much as he didn't want to think about it, he knew he might be living on borrowed time. If word ever got back to Thanos that he was still alive, the Earth might become a target once more, and he wanted to be ready for when that happened.

Oliver gave a sad smile at Niah's words, he knew he wasn't omniscient, but he wanted so badly to be, and his failures just stabbed into that regret. As they approached and were quizzed on the Asgardians they knew, Oliver nodded. "It's almost certainly Raynor, which is good. Another person who can identify skrulls is a great thing to have, and of course, it's good to know he's safe." Oliver still felt odd around the Asgardian. Though he probably didn't know about his faux pas with Sparky on the Moon, Skrull-Raynor's anger had resonated with him at the time, and seeing him would drag up those feelings again.

"So kind to me Ray," she commented with a bit of an eye roll towards him, but she said nothing else in response to his comments regarding that. Sparky was somewhat glad that the body was no longer on the ship, but since she knew that the odds of the corpse landing in water were slim, so she felt somewhat sorry for whoever the body ended up landing by. That would not be a pretty sight, that much she did know. It made her wonder how law enforcement would feel upon seeing that, but she decided it might be best not to think about it all that much.

When they landed, she was more then ready to get off of the ship, and she somewhat tuned out Amelia's ramblings since they didn't have any really useful information or something within her words, and she accepted Raynor's hand with a slight smile. Though her mind was getting more then a little annoyed with Raynor suggested that she should be laying down and not doing anything. Like that was going to happen. "You can't tell me to sit down, besides, the baby has kicked before you know, it is kind of normal!" she snapped slightly, and as if right on cue, the baby proceeded to kick, and she instantly put her hand on her stomach from the sudden force. "You have nothing to worry about or whatever," she said, and she got off the ship, deciding to end the conversation right then and there with regards to that.

He couldn't help but roll his eyes ever so slightly at the way Hawkeye decided to announce where exactly they were heading. Though New Jersey was definitely going to be interesting. However there was one thing that stuck out to him, and that was that he probably was not going to really want to get off the quinjet if there were a lot of people in the area. Since you know, he is the president, meaning he'd stand out like a sore thumb. He was trying to figure out where exactly they were going to be heading after Jersey, but he didn't have any clue at the moment.

Glancing over at the other conversations, his attention turned towards Eve when she offered her hand to him, and he took it and shook it. "There is no need to call me that, at the moment given the circumstances you can just call me Alex, saying the full title is more then a bit of a mouthful that's for sure, and it is a please to meet you," he said to her with a slight smile. Alex was known for being more on the charismatic side, hence how he was able to get elected, but like he had said to Bonnie earlier, it was probably easier to just call him by his first name.

"Fine with me if you join in, though hopefully no one else decides to join, since for scouting typically smaller groups is better, easier to not be seen or potentially heard," he said towards Hope. A few flashbacks came from the Age of Ultron timeline when he last had really encountered her, and it wasn't the best, since he vividly remembered what had happened to her and her parents there. However since he was one of the few people who actually remembered what had happened in that timeline, he figured it was best not to say anything about that. No, right now they had to deal with this Skrull ship that they all were stranded on.

Flynn was glad when they were in the elevator, his attention was drawn away from his own thoughts to what it was that Maria was saying at the moment with regards to what they might do once they get back home. "Well my immediate first thought is to see if they have any other operations or whatever that the Skrulls are running. After that? Not entirely sure..." he said simply to her, though he was only half telling the truth. In truth, he wanted to go make sure that Bonnie was alright, anything else? That came afterwards.

Kwassi Asokho

Location: Quinjet
Skills: Photographic Memory : 16

Kwassi couldn't help but take in Evelyn's impressive résumé. Granted she added the she too was a mutant, making his pool of humans surrounding him smaller. When she had talked about her martial prowess beforehand he had expected her to be a trained fighter. Someone who dedicated years to the craft and would face mortal challenges that some mutants just didn't have to. Not that they didn't have their own issues to deal with with this world's intolerance towards anything different. His heart sank for a moment at the thought before getting his mind back on track and focusing on the conversation ahead. From the sounds of it it appeared she had an x-gene that allowed her to study and learn others techniques. An extremely useful power that he wouldnt mind having himself. But with that great power came great risk. If she decided to turn coat then she could counter every move as she memorizes every enemies fighting style and implements a way to counter them.

That didn't sit right with him. He thought back to earlier when the Skrulls were capable of mimicking the powers of other supers. Iron mans suits, captain marvel, if they managed to get their hands on Evelyn then they would have an advantage against anyone the fought it seemed. "Thats a dangerous powerset you got there then. Glad to see you've rallied to our cause, I just hope the Skrulls aren't able to get a chance to mimic you." He spoke as if it was a dark joke, just some humor to help cut tension, but the thought weighed heavy on him and he truly hoped they never got the chance to make another of her.

Skrull Prison Ship - Orbiting Saturn

"I think I'll go to the beach - feel the sand beneath my toes," Hope answered honestly. She figured that Maria had meant once everything was over, not just when they immediately arrived back to Earth. It was so strange to think about, not being on that little blue rock. They had no idea where they were. They could be anywhere in the universe.

The elevator took them down one level and the doors opened up. Everything looked pretty much identical to the level they had just come from - there were hallways splitting off from the elevator, with an unpleasant drop awaiting anyone who stumbled and fell over the side. Hope picked one at random and walked down it, her eyes widening slightly. "You'll want to see this..." she said, calling out to her companions.

There was only one prisoner in this cell block - a young skrull girl. She was wearing the sort of gown that would suit Princess Zelda, but it was in tatters. She looked weary and battle-worn, despite having no scars. She looked like she was maybe 18 or 19 years old.

Mar-Vell's Ship - New Jersey: 10:10 P.M.

Mar-Vell looked surprised as Niah mentioned she had three realities inside of her head. While the Kree were an incredibly technologically advanced race, they hadn't dabbled with changing the timeline or venturing into alternate realities. Such knowledge was forbidden. If the Kree Empire knew this sort of thing regularly occurred on Earth, they would certainly destroy it. "I'm dying to know more about what you've experienced, but be cautious who you share that information with. That sort of thing is exactly what will force the Empire to destroy your world."

She shook her head, not seeing any visuals on people from the craft at the moment. However, the question of the skrulls wants and desires was at least something she could answer. "The World-Eater, Galactus, consumed the skrull's home planet, Tarnax IV. They need a new home. And your planet is in a strategic position for the war against the Kree Empire, as wormholes are easily opened in this system. It is how your Asgardian friend can move so quickly from his planet to yours," Mar-Vell answered. She was holding something back though, something clearly painful and sad.

She turned her face so Niah and Oliver could not see her pain. Mar-Vell landed the ship down right next to the Asgardian's craft, lowering the ramp so Niah and Oliver could disembark. "I'll be out in a moment, I need to run some diagnostics on the engine system."

Jersey City Boardwalk - New Jersey: 10:10 P.M

Raynor's eyes widened, seeing the baby kick - he didn't need to be able to feel it to know that it had happened, with the way Sparky suddenly put a hand on her belly. "Damn it, Sparks! I come back from the dead for what, an hour, and you already won't listen to me?" he complained, rushing off the ship after her. He glanced up in time to see a Kree ship land and he instinctively went in front of Sparky protectively. "Get back to the ship, these Kree assholes make human bones look like toothpicks," he warned her.

The Kree were one of the few alien races capable of matching an Asgardian in strength. Not all of them achieved that upper limit of power, but Raynor had run into enough Kree mercenaries back in his home reality that he knew better than to just ride on the strength of his own ego. He had Lyting drawn and he conjured up a ball of light in his other hand, ready to strike.

"Uh, mate?" Amelia prompted, tapping Raynor on the shoulder. "Not to burst your bubble or anything, but if they were hostile, they would've attacked by now. Also, they aren't this Kree or whatever you mentioned, look," she added, pointing. From the base of the ramp, she could make out two familiar faces and one stranger up inside of the craft. She was pretty sure two of them people there were her ex-teammates and Sparks' friends. "Sparks, ya know them?" Amelia asked.

Amelia waved up at the occupants of the ship, as Raynor relaxed and his ball of light evaporated, but he didn't lower his knife. "Oh, will you relax?" Amelia chastised. "They're probably just here to rendez-vous as well. If you're worried they're evil shapeshifters, then we can ask them some questions and figure it out, yeah? Like... Say, we ask them to tell us something so bloody random that no alien squid could've come up with it?"

"Yeah, like hell am I just going to trust them," Raynor growled slightly.

New Jersey - Quinjet: 10:10 P.M.

Bonnie nodded, giving Matt a slight smile. Internally, she was a little bit annoyed that everyone was treating her with kid-gloves. She didn't need them to reassure her that everything was going to be okay. She wasn't going to have a mental breakdown - not this time. She was a strong, confident, independent woman. She took a breath, her mind flashing briefly back to the asylum she had been treated in, where she had felt like little more than a living corpse. That wasn't going to happen again. She wasn't going crazy. "That's really sweet of you, but I'm fine, I promise," she said, trying to reassure Cass. "I don't need a vacation."

Learning that Evelyn was a mutant wasn't really surprising - the Secret Warriors team had more mutants than any other sort of member. They were practically the S.H.I.E.L.D. version of the X-Men. She watched the President's reaction to learning Evelyn was a mutant carefully. She knew that Jakobsen had once been strongly anti-mutant and she wondered how much of his change of heart had been real - and what was just for the cameras so he'd be elected. His answer to Evelyn could have been genuine, but Bonnie could easily see it being fake.

"Commencing landing sequence - a.k.a., strap in assholes," Hawkeye's voice chirped over the intercom, as they began their descent. They touched down next to two other ships, creating a massive traffic hazard. Some tourists were gawking and taking photos, convinced that the Avengers had arrived.

Cassandra Reed

Location: Quinjet, Jersey City Boardwalk.

Cassandra gave Bonnie a slight nod she knew that her friend would tell her if anything was wrong at all, but everyone could use a vacation every once in awhile. "Just let me know if you ever do need one though we all deserve one at some point after everything we all have been through together." Cass said to her best friend gently giving her a quick hug, she turned to look at Matt and gave his hand a quick kiss before hearing Hawkeye's voice over the radio and quickly strapped herself in. She had learned her lesson before and Hawkeye was really bad at landing in her opinion really.

Cass slowly stood up after she had taken off her seatbelt, the reason she had picked the area it was out in the public, and the Skrulls would be really dumb if they tried to attack them in the open like that. She was glad to get the whole team back together again as she looked at everyone else. She just hoped that none of them were replaced with skrulls Cass made her way towards the Quinjet's ramp and pressed the button to let the boarding ramp down. "Just stick together, it shouldnt take to long." Cass said as she started to walk off seeing Sparky, Raynor and Amelia all together. "I'm glad to see you all are alright." Cassandra said as she approached the group.

Evelyn Holder

Location: Quinjet

"Alright then i'll call you Alex." Evelyn said towards Alex giving him a smile as she strapped herself in, she turned to look at Kwassi for a moment, her powers werent really flashy. She couldnt throw fireballs around or shoot lasers from her eyes, they just made her more adaptable during a fight really. "So what else do you know about these Skrulls?" Evelyn couldnt help but ask, since they seemed to be really dangerous if they could shapeshift to take on the form of just about anyone really.

Evelyn decided to stay in the Quinjet for now, unless a fight ended up breaking out for whatever reason, as she leaned back slightly as Cassandra went to get out of the Quinjet to greet whoever the others that they were meeting up with. And another reason she knew that Alex was capable of defending himself but he was still the president after all as well to.

Maria Novikova

Location: Skrull Prison Ship
Skills: N/A

"I think i'm going to take a nice long vacation after this whole thing is over and spend some time with Novi." Maria said as she leaned herself up against the wall of the elevator as it went down, she had a wife and child on the way right now as well to and she wanted to be there for Novikova as well. And the skrulls had take her away from her family, she wasnt even sure how long they had been holding her here for. When the elevator came to a stop Maria quickly got out and looked around the area some. "Well the Skrulls seem to keep everything the same at least when it comes to layout." Maria said mainly herself.

When she heard Hope speaking Maria quickly followed shortly behind her, seeing a cell similar to theirs Maria noticed a young looking skrull there. She eyed the cell lock seeing that it needed a keycard of sorts, she turned to look at the skrull girl for a moment, Maria wasnt sure if she could be trusted at the moment or not but she was curious. "Who are you, and why are you in a cell?" Maria asked the young skrull girl. "I'm Maria by the way, this is Flynn, and Hope."

Location: Jersey? Who goes to Jersey?

Niah nodded. A lot. She nodded at Dr. Larson telling her to not share about the multi-verse experience she had with others. She nodded at the explanation about why the Skrulls were trying to take over Earth. Would that make it a strategic place for the Kree too? Would Earth become a battleground between two highly advanced races? They had to keep that from happening. Humans weren't really ready for an outside threat like that. Heck, they were barely able to handle the differences of mutants and inhuman from themselves. She did not want to think about what humanity would be like if they realized there were body snatchers out and about.

When the ship landed and the ramp lowered Niah said, "Thank you. I'll happily talk with you more about my experiences sometime." Then she went down the ramp. She spotted the gathering group and waved. Rolling the wheelchair that was sometimes a leg carefully. "Hey Sparky! You found Raynor. Hi Amelia, turns out things were totally funky, and jumping out a window probably was the sanest thing you could do." She was clearly still a little high. She waved at everyone else joining them.

"Raynor did getting kidnapped by shapeshifting-aliens get the chip off your shoulder?" She asked, grinning, showing that she was mostly joking with Raynor. Somewhere between three realities, her sister being a multi-dimensional terrorist, and demon bear Niah seemed to stop being so tense, or maybe it was the drugs in her system. It was probably the drugs in her system, which were painfully starting to wear off. "We fought a demon bear that fed off fear and it ruined my leg." She said and held up the stump for the others to see.

"Where is Maria? Oh and Sparky you've got to check out this wheelchair later. You're gonna love it. It is cooler than any sci-fi book I've ever read." Niah had honestly not read much recently, her life was more sci-fi than she could handle. Escaping into a sci-fi novel was not what she considered fun at the time being.

Location: Quinjet -> Boardwalk
Skills:

Matt hadn't unbuckled at any point after they took off again. He had come to the decision that he wouldn't ever be unbuckled when Hawkeye was flying again. Even though he hadn't been tossed around the ship he had seen enough of the others do just that. When the ship finally landed he was happy to be getting off. "You might not need a vacation, but I think I'm going to take one. Go home and just enjoy some hockey or something." He told Bonnie grinning, before leaving the ship after Cass.

Niah was rambling at Sparky as he walked up. Cass was already there. It was dumb but he had liked her kissing his hand. It had been a sweet tender moment when right now nothing seemed so vulnerable. He hoped he hadn't been wrong to decide to trust the group completely. He hoped that Cass was really Cass and hadn't been replaced, he wouldn't want to have happy memories like that with someone who wasn't his girlfriend.

Oliver Sullivan

Oliver frowned towards the good doctor. Something sounded off in her voice, but he didn't wanna press on it. "You got it, we'll be waiting for you." He said, as the door to the ship opened up, letting them disembark. That thing she said, that somehow wormholes were easier to open here was of particular interest to him, as a man of science, and would dig into it later. Niah was still coming down from the drugs, but in all honesty, they needed some levity right now, so he kind of appreciated it. Stepping off the ship, his eyes immediately went to Cass, and he waved. The team was finally back together.

Oliver almost blushed when Niah started talking about the demon bear, feeling a bit ridiculous that that had happened. He was still processing that himself, not totally able to reconcile the idea of that thing being real. "Carebear from hell gave us some trouble, but uh... yeah." He looked awkwardly down at Niah's leg, at least happy that she was handling this all well. He turned his attention to Cass, and said, "Once we have Niah and Raynor confirm that all present aren't skrulls, we can debrief, if that's alright." He was still his old paranoid self, and he didn't want to give away their informational advantage by way of a leak. "And of course, it's good to see you again Cass." He smiled, he really did feel happy that they weren't fractured anymore, assuming none of them were skrulls.

Now Sparky was getting more then a little annoyed with Raynor. He was right, she wasn't listening to him, but he also wasn't helping with the way he was acting. Electricity starting jumping along her skin, and she instantly pointed at him as a zap hit him hard enough that it would hurt, but not enough to cause horrible damage. She was beyond annoyed with him, and she wasn't going to just stand by and let him tell her what to do. "You're right, you've been back for an hour and you're right, I don't listen to you. But did you think that maybe when you were sitting there sleeping I had no idea where the hell you were. Or that I wasn't freaking out when I had no idea where you were? Or that maybe I've dealt with hell since then or might as well have? Oh noooooo, you just have to be pissed off that I don't listen to you since I had to learn to deal with a whole bunch of crap with you not here on my own. Everything has to be about you clearly."

It was obvious she was pissed off, since he was trying to control everything that she was doing, and she was not having it. Taking a deep breath, she walked towards the others. "Sorry, he's getting on my nerves, anyway Niah, what happened with Maria is she tried to kill us and turned out to be a Skrull. I already told Cass that on the phone... And damn that sucks, I guess we've all had a bad things happen... And we've still got to deal with the aliens that are invading the world or whatever for it. Let's just hope this can be dealt with rather easily, but knowing our luck it won't be like that..."

Location: Quinjet

"I'll be honest I don't know much more then you do aside from only shoot the controls on their ships if you want to land the ship right then and there and not care if you get banged up a bit in the landing," he said towards Evelyn with a slight laugh. It was true, but at the moment there wasn't much he could do. He didn't know much about the aliens aside from them shapeshifting and kidnapping people, including him. Or at least they tried to before he managed to take out the ones on the ship and crash land it. Not a smart thing for him to do on his part, but it was the best that he could do at the time.

Alex was just listening to what all was still being said, and when they landed at the boardwalk, like Evelyn he elected to stay on board the jet. After all, he knew he wasn't exactly the most popular person around, and as he thought before, he would stick out like a sore thumb on that boardwalk since he was the president. Plus, he wouldn't be surprised if the few people in the group that he hadn't run into yet didn't like him at all. Everyone was a critic, and he had done some pretty horrible things in the past, so this was going to be an interesting thing to see what happened.

Location: Skrull Ship
Skills: N/A

"I think that everyone needs a vacation after all of this probably... That still assuming that we get back and this whole thing doesn't blow up in our face," he commented to Maria about her comment. Yup, vacation was something that might need to happen, everyone needed a vacation in their team for the most part, and no one ever really got it. That might be fun, he wasn't sure what he'd do, maybe head back to Seattle for a little while. It'd been a little bit since he had really been back home, maybe he could convince Bonnie to go with him there. The view of the waterfront from the Space Needle was always nice to see...

His attention was pulled away from that when the doors opened onto the next floor and they stepped out, eventually finding a girl who was wearing a dress that probably looked a lot nicer a little while ago. She clearly was a prisoner onboard this ship too, despite clearly being a Skrull, which he found a bit odd. Though this could just be a trap, but then again, it might not and she might really need some help. Flynn was currently keeping an eye out, trying to see if he could hear any other Skrulls coming before they were spotted.

Kwassi Asokho

Location: Quinjet
Skills: Photographic Memory : 16

Hawkeye didn't have to tell him twice. Kwassi learned from the previous landing just how rough his are. He was fairly certain that even with a missing eye his fellow Agent would make a better pilot than him. Having already been strapped in, Kwassi held onto the sides of his seat for good measure, just incase Hawkeye had some sadistic streak that made his jostle the jet around before the land. Once they had well and landed his hands relaxed as he watched Agent Reed open the door to meet with those they were about to rendez-vous with. It seemed the best time to catch their newcomer up granted there wasn't a whole lot to say. Kwassi waited for Evelyn to finish up with the President before leaning back and addressing her.

He placed one hand carefully on his chin as he began to think about all they had learned so far. Finally leaning forward with his elbows resting against the top of his knees as he leaned on one hand. "Hmmm well to be quite honest there isn't a whole lot that we know about them. So far I have encountered over a dozen that I know of. They seem to mimic their targets on a moleculer level if I was to hazard a guess. When injured or hurt they look as any human would. Same blood, reactions, everything. However they also appear to be able to mimic the powers of those they copy. Becoming a true similacrum and impossible to detect. Only way we know so far is by killing them. Once they die they revert back to their natural state. A green bipedal humanoid organism. As far as I have been aware they can also replicate their 'hosts' behaviors. Making the con all the more believable, as to how they accomplish this I'm unaware. So far those we've noted have had their counterparts otherwise missing without us even knowing. Meaning they very well could have a stronghold that is keeping more Earthlings captive and perhaps using a telepathic mutant to extract memories or key thoughts to allow them to similar better into their role. Granted the latter half of this is all conjecture and there is no evidence to suggest it. Just my brain at work trying to figure out how they are doing what they're doing with what we know is possible."

Skrull Prison Ship - Orbiting Saturn

The prisoner stared at them, her young eyes hardened with suspicion. Even as tattered and beaten as she was, she still had a regal quality to her gaze. She looked like the sort of person who should have been ordering troops into battle and negotiating treaties, rather than wasting away as the sole occupant on this prison block. "If this is a trick, I do not care for it," the girl finally said.

"Look, we aren't here to hurt you - we aren't shapeshifters," Hope said, as gently as she could - but even then, it came out a bit blunt. "We were prisoners on this ship, too." she added, hoping that might get the girl to trust them.

Suddenly, a lone pair of guards came into view and they gasped. "The terrans are after the Princess!" one screamed, as the other took off at a run to go sound an alarm. The remaining skrull raised his weapon and opened fire on the group, not giving them any time for warning shots. Luckily, he was a terrible shot, only grazing Hope in the arm. The skrulls tended to rely on surprise for their attacks, as well as isolating their targets so they could gang up on them - so essentially, the opposite of this situation.

Jersey City Boardwalk - New Jersey: 10:20 P.M

"...It was just a joke, Sparks," Raynor said, shaking his head. He knew that she had been terrified and alone. He didn't doubt that she was strong enough to make her own choices, hell, he liked knowing that Sparky could make do without him. It calmed his nerves, knowing that whenever the day came that his past caught up with him, she would be okay.

"Yeah, so if you're wondering, that's more or less a summary of what traveling with these two cunts is like," Amelia explained to Cass with an awkward shrug. She wasn't too worried about anyone present being a skrull. The only skrull she had ever met had been Maria and she had been super weird about the entire thing - what with her trying to do trust falls mid-flight with a pregnant woman. No one here was asking for weird potentially fatal activities, so they seemed chill enough.

"Are you even really Reed?" Raynor asked, narrowing his eyes and ignoring Amelia's rambling. Was he the only one concerned about how easily this entire thing could be a trap? The skrulls had managed to overpower him and leave him for dead - if it hadn't been for pure dumb luck, he would have died. He wouldn't have ended up in his mother's healing garden. Sparky would be alone, without anyone to protect her, and their child (gods, he hoped it was their child) would grow up fatherless.

He frowned, hearing Niah babbling on and on. She wasn't at all like herself. If it hadn't been for the obvious recent amputation of her leg, he would have been certain she was a skrull. That, and he knew instinctively that she wasn't lying. It was one of his abilities - he always knew if someone was lying to him or not. "No, it didn't," he answered her bluntly. "You seem psychotic, Bautista."

Raynor huffed slightly, annoyed that apparently Oliver was the only one taking all of this seriously too. He assumed Oliver wasn't likely to be a skrull, given that no skrull would insist on being tested by the God of Lies and... Niah... to see if they were an impostor or not. "Alright, if everyone would just introduce yourselves, I'll suss out who the skrulls are," Raynor said with a slight sigh.

Amelia had no idea how that was supposed to work. She only knew the bare minimum when it came to what was going on. She also didn't really know what powers everyone had, beyond Sparky who seemed to be able to fly and shock people who irritated her. "Uh, well, I'm Amelia Baptiste, callsign Thrill Seeker. I'm an Aussie, I'm 27 years old, and I recently learned that I'm inhuman or whatever the term is. I'm terrified of needles and I hate taking exams. I love animals, flying, karaoke, and camping underneath the stars at night, even if there's a wicked amount of spiders crawling all over the place. I was adopted, my dads could be described by that and they were roommates meme thing, very gay, very in love. One of my dads died in a plane crash, that was real rough... Kinda destroyed my other dad... I ended up joining the RAAF, but they didn't let women train as fast jet fighter pilots which was a load of bullshit, so I ended up joining S.H.I.E.L.D. so I could fly faster and higher... Is that what you needed from me? That was too much, wasn't it?"

"...Yeah, she's not a skrull," Raynor said, shaking his head. "I need a drink after that."

Quinjet - New Jersey: 10:20 P.M

Bonnie had decided to stay on the plane as well - they didn't need everyone heading off in order to greet the people they were picking up. She wondered what would be done with the other two ships, given how adverse Barton was to giving out the coordinates of their ultimate destination to anyone else. She got the sense that it wasn't an issue he would budge on. She also didn't want to leave the President alone. She only knew for certain that she herself was not a skrull. She didn't want to walk off on the off chance that Kwassi and Evelyn were both skrulls.

She pursed her lips slightly, listening patiently to Kwassi's explanation, even though she had more experience when it came to studying the skrulls. Once he finished, she paused for a second before offering her own thoughts. "They're perfect shapeshifters - even DNA samples extracted are indistinguishable. We'd never been able to take a live skrull into custody before, so we don't know how they are able to access the memories of whoever they shapeshift to act like, but I doubt that they're being helped by a mutant telepath. Our first encounter with them was in December. It was likely just a scout, but we weren't able to interrogate the skrull, as it died. The Asgardian out there, Raynor, he's the only one to return so far after being replaced... We have no reason to suspect that they keep hostages."

Cassandra Reed

Location: Quinjet, Jersey City Boardwalk.
Skills: N/A

Cassandra looked towards Oliver for a moment and gave him a smile, she was glad to see him again alive and well as well as Amelia who was high off of painkillers by the looks of it. She wasnt sure what they meant by a Demon Bear, and seeing that Niah had lost her leg it must have been pretty dangerous. "I'm sure that it must have been a really tough fight." She said as she turned to look at Raynor questioning if she was actually her. "Sounds like you guys had a rough time or something." Cass said turning to look at Amelia.

"I'm Agent Cassandra Elena Reed, i'm a computer science major and graduate from MIT if you wanted all of that detail as well to" She said extending her hand towards Niah to use her power to double check while looking over at Raynor. "Just to double check and confirm if you want." She said to Raynor. "We can debrief in the Quinjet if you'd like once we all have confirmation that we arent skrulls if you'd like." Cass said turning her attention over towards Oliver. Even though they were out in a crowded place Cass wasnt sure if any of these people were skrulls either and they needed to leave as quickly as possible. "The sooner the better i'm not sure if more are coming or not." She said to all of them.

Evelyn Holder

Location: Quinjet
Skills: N/A

Evelyn looked towards Alex and laughed slightly shaking her head slightly she was pretty sure that crashing wasnt a really good thing, though if she watched someone she could easily pick up how to be a pilot fairly quickly. "I'm pretty sure that doesnt help to much." Evelyn said jokingly towards Alex and turned to look at Kwassi as he answered her question and raised her eyebrow slightly she didnt really think the idea that a mutant telepath would work willingly with the skrulls.

"You do know that there are a lot of other telepaths that arent mutants right? And highly doubt it that they would work willingly to take over the earth the mutant and human relations have never been the best." Evelyn said, mutant and human relations werent the best especially after the whole thing with M-Pox and other events. "I think they keep their prisoners close by just in case any of their agents in the field somehow end up falling and they could easily have the ones they captured for further use, maybe study then as well to." Evelyn said shrugging slightly, the skrulls seemed to be really dangerous if they wanted to kidnap the president.

Maria Novikova

Location: Skrull Prison Ship
Skills: (Flynn's fire manipulation

"Yeah this isnt really a trick Princess Zelda." Maria said towards the skrull princess, who hadnt introduced herself yet as she looked at Flynn and then hope. Maria turned as she heard someone yell and saw two skrulls there one of them running towards the probably sounding an alarm. Luckily she had managed to take Flynn's powers when they stepped onto the elevator, Maria held out her hand as a fireball started to form in her hand while looking over at Flynn. "Thanks by the way for letting me borrow your powers." She said as Maria threw the fireball at the skrull trying to set off the alarms.

Seeing the skrull catching on fire she turned to look at the one who fired off a shot grazing Hope's arm, she held out her hand again and fired off another fireball which she missed which she was totally a warning shot. "Thats totally a warning shot if you want to turn into a barbeque like your friend there." Maria yelled out to his friend.
