It was about noon at Camp Half-Blood, it was officially the first day of summer now a few days ago the Camp's oracle Rosie spouted out a new prophecy. Some of the kids weren't really sure what to think about it, word around camp quickly spread as everyone started to talk about it. Some of the Apollo kids were working at the archery range, while some of them were also working at the medical tents tending to some of the injured campers who had a few accidents, whether it was from a sparing match or from the Climbing Tower. There was always an injury somewhere.

The Demeter and Dionysus kids were tending to the strawberry fields that were surrounded the camp, as the Athena and Ares kids were either sparing, or practicing while the other half were at the climbing tower. The Hephaestus kids were busy working at the forges within their cabin, building new sets of armor and weapons for themselves and the rest of the camp as well, the Hermes kids were starting to planning on some prank on some of the other cabin counselors. While the Aphrodite kids were tending to some of pegasi in the stables and taking them out for their usual daily flight around the camp as well.

The Hypnos kids were all asleep usually within their cabin, which was most of the day for the most part they rarely ever did leave their cabin unless they really needed to, they mostly did nothing for the most part anyway as well. Some of the Iris kids were tending to Camp Half-Blood's shop, usually anything from weapons to food, nectar or ambrosia for anyone who were going out on a quest. While the others at the camp they were all being kept busy, and some of them were all preparing for a game of Capture the Flag that night after dinner which everyone was looking forward to while the other cabins were planning some kind of strategy. While Chiron and Dionysus, and Rosie were all sitting in the Big House, playing a game of chess while Rosie watched intently.

Kristin Reynolds

Location: Camp Half-Blood - Sword Fighting Arena

Kristin was at the sword fighting arena holding her spear in hand as she started to attack a dumby stabbing it a few times in the chest, while she had her headphones in her ears. She quietly sang to herself as she looked at the others who were in the arena with her a few Ares kids and a few of her other half siblings as well who were either sparing or practicing on other dumbies. Kristin then stopped and sighed a little bit as she wipped away a little bit of sweat as she pressed a button on her spear as it turned back into a small bronze and gold bracelet on her arm.

Kristin walked over and started to take a drink of her water bottle and went over and sat down and started to relax a little bit as she rubbed the back of her neck looking up at the sky. It was a rather nice day seeing very little clouds in the sky right now as Kristin got up and watched a younger half sibling of hers struggling with a sparing partner of his. She was about to stop and help, when Alannah her other sister and cabin counselor went to go and give some pointers and smiled towards her, before making her way towards the exit and do a check on the armory and do a bit of inventory.

Kiera Donovan

Location: Crystal River School, For Troubled Youth - Court Yard

At Crystal River, it was lunch time for everyone on campus, it was a very large private school and it had a rather massive courtyard at the center of the school. Most of the kids were outside there eating and enjoying their lunch the school had all ages K-12 some of the younger kids were in one corner of the courtyard while the older kids were spread about the courtyard some of them were talking. Kiera had only been at the school for about a year now. She walked over and found a spot under a tree which she usually sat in headphones in her ears as she pulled out her guitar and started to play and sing to herself.

Kiera had her lunch bag next to her, they had an hour long break before classes started up again, she noticed a slight crowd started to watch her play. She ignored them for the time being as she continued to play, until she was finally finished, Kiera set her guitar down and smiled slightly. As the crowd started to disperse for now and then Kiera quickly started to dig into the lunch she had made for herself.

Ezekiel Kel

Location: Medical Tent near the Training Grounds -- Camp Half-Blood

What a long ass day this was already turning out to be. Ezekiel had pulled on his headphones over an hour ago now. As usual, training started bright and early at Camp Half-Blood. Even though summer camp officially started just a few days ago. With all the new kids it seemed Ezekiel hadn’t stopped healing all the young idiots. Honestly, he wasn’t this bad when he first got here… Right? Ya, no, he was good. He smirked as memories from his first couple of weeks flooded his head. There were some of the hardest lessons of his life and he had to grow up quickly. They all did. He used his shoulder to wipe the sweat from his forehead as he worked on stitching up one of those new kids. He got a wicked slash to the leg the other day and waited nearly twenty-four hours before coming to one of the tents they had set up by the training grounds. Easy access rather than trekking all the way to the Big Blue House. The dumb kid’s leg was already infected, it took a fair amount of time to clean and repair the wound before Ezekiel could get to this point. Sure, he could have healed it completely, not leaving a scar but where would the lesson be? The scar would be a reminder to the dumbass to not be dumb.
After the kid was stitched up, he gave the kid some Nectar, smiling and nodding at him that he could go. Once the kid left, no longer limping, he collapsed into one of those camp folding chairs. He grabbed his water and drained the whole thing before shutting his eyes for a few minutes. Despite his inner commentary, Ezekiel loved his job. Loved the healing he could do thanks to his father Apollo. He had found his calling here and rose to every challenge that was presented to him. He lived for it.
As Ezekiel dozed in and out he thought of the recent prophecy. Rosie, the all knowing, always had interesting ones for the campers here. He wondered if there was some selection process. He pictured the Gods on Olympus, sitting at a round table picking out random pieces of paper, making little airplanes and sending them around the world to specific people. He snorted. Ya right.
"Upon the day a child is born after a great battle…” What defines a great battle, really?
“A world of darkness shall bring all of the gods to their knees….” Seriously? They have night lights on Amazon…
“An act shall bring the rise of four empires together…” Four empires? Well at least this bit was intriguing.
“And a random act shall usher forth the restoration of balance, or destroy it all.” A random act of kindness perhaps? Tough luck.
Honestly, he hardly payed attention to it. He would never be selected. No, that ‘honor’ went to one of the kids of the big three. It was utterly pathetic. The rest would never have a chance to prove themselves. Ezekiel worked on kid after kid who tried proving themselves to the children of the big three and got their demigod asses handed to them. Every. Single. Time.
What was the honest to goodness point?

Leda Storm

Location: The Canoe Lake

Leda was sitting in the sand, looking out at the lake. Her goal was to be able to run on water before she left Camp Half-Blood. Sometimes, she could have sworn that she was close to it - at other times, she felt terrified at the prospect. Was it all inside her head? Probably. Her shoes were off and sitting next to her, as she curled her toes into the sand and just took in her surroundings. She wasn't normally one to slow down and take things in, but she had found it necessary to center and focus herself that morning.

She usually felt a little bit existential after she did maintenance on some of the shrines. So many minor gods were forgotten and dismissed in favor of Zeus' family - it was sickening. Even now, with the camp expanded and more gods being represented with cabins, there were still hundreds that were forgotten and ignored. As the daughter of the messenger of the gods, Leda had found a sort of sense of duty in making sure that none of them were forgotten if she could help it. "Alright, enough existentialism," Leda admonished herself, cleaning off her feet and putting her shoes back on.

It was time for a run.

Location: Crystal RiveSchool For Troubled Youth - Courtyard

Desdemona, Mona to anyone who knew better, did not often buy her lunch in the cafeteria. If you could call whatever slop they served in there food. You'd think if they wanted to reform the bad kids they would not treat them like prisoners. "Magda, your finest slop if you please." She asked the lunch lady, who was probably not called Magda. She heaped a good portion of something gray on her tray before Mona took off and, promptly, dumped it all in the trash. She picked up an apple and made her way out into the courtyard.

Outside she heard the vocals of Keira, who seemed to have a small gathering. Mona fought an eye roll. The girl had pipes, she could admit, but was now a good time for a guitar solo? Mona sat alone the grass and bit into her apple. Another dull fucking day here. She needed to get out. Quickly. It was starting to drain her of any essence of life she still possessed.

Marygold Isley

Location: Strawberry Fields

Mary was out in the Strawberry Fields, glad to be outside in nature, despite what everything seemed like. She personally preferred being outside just about anywhere as opposed to being cooped up inside somewhere. The outdoors were always nice, and plant life was always more her friend than just about anything, or anyone else. Sure, she did have some friends among the other campers, but she still sometimes preferred being alone on occasion with the world around her.

The Strawberry Fields were always a nice place to be, and she enjoyed working in them, tending to the plants there. Not really having many friends who tended to work in the fields with her, that was perfectly fine with her. Working by herself let her have time to think about everything, her life, how different things could have been if a few things were different with her life. Though if given a choice, she wouldn't change anything. She likes being at the Camp, and enjoying time in the fields, even if she didn't have any friends really among the other Demeter kids, being with the plant life alone was fine with her.

@KazAlkemi While Zeke was resting, the injured were done and the tent was fairly quiet now at this point, as the tent moved slightly Bryan came into the tent. Seeing that Zeke was laying on one of the chairs, he smirked slightly at his younger half brother and started to look around. Before finding a rubber glove, and started to blow into it making an inflatable hand and started to sneak closer towards him before popping it. Creating a very loud poping sound which would get his attention rather quickly. "Yo, Zeke you've been in here all day you can take a break if you'd like. Also capture the flag tonight to." Bryan said towards him.

@Morose Leda would see about five or six Naiads or Limnades the ones within the lake itself were called, the canoe lake was always their home they would watch the other campers out by the lake. While some of the more mischievous ones usually ended up messing with some of the younger campers, either by knocking over and tipping the canoes over. Or they would send a wave of water and knock them over just for fun, seeing Leda over by the lake. She would send a small wave of water at Leda which only reached over to her knees, as it laughed slightly and quickly dived down under the water itself. Leda would spot her Tammy her head cabin counselor and smirked a little bit as she rested her feet in the water itself. "They always seem to do that for fun and annoy us sometimes huh. Also are you ready for Capture the Flag tonight?" Tammy asked looking towards Leda.

@BlueSky44 A few Satyrs were running around carrying baskets filled with some strawberries as some of Mary's half siblings were busy around picking them. The Strawberry Fields were probably the most quiet and relaxing areas around the camp, along with the lake and beach as well. Eva was around helping some of the younger ones pulling the strawberries out, and helped them use some of their abilities to, as the other Satyrs were playing away at some of their windpipes. "So, how has the year been?" Eva asked looking over towards Mary, Eva was more of a summer camper only spending a full year or two every once in awhile.

Kristin Reynolds

Location: Camp Half-Blood - Sword Fighting Arena -> Dining Pavilion.

Kristin yawned slightly as she looked at the others, she started to feel a little bit hungry as she decided to get something to eat, lunch was about to be served soon anyway as well. She started to leave the arena seeing as a few other Athena kids and Ares kids were all doing the same as well. Kristin walked up the stairs, and then was back on the main camp trail, she stopped for a moment outside of the medical tents that were set up. She could see Bryan entering the tent as well, Kristin had a feeling that Zeke was in there as well, which was what he mainly did anyway.

Kristin continued as she made her way towards the dining pavilion and went to sit down at her table with some of her siblings, as her plate started to get filled up with some of the food that she really enjoyed. She always did wanted to know how they worked exactly as well, Kristin shifted slightly in her seat as she started to eat her lunch.

Kiera Donovan

Location: Crystal River School, For Troubled Youth - Court Yard

Kiera looked towards the door of the courtyard as she noticed Desdemona coming in, she shrugged slightly seeing the girl before she didn't really have the chance to talk to her. They were in a few of the same exact classes Kiera ran a hand through her hair as she continued to eat her lunch in peace and leaned herself up against the tree that she was sitting by. Kiera took the time to slid her guitar back into its case. As Kiera continued to enjoy her lunch by herself, she watched as the door opened again seeing the school's gym teacher Gleeson Hedge coming in. She really did not like his gym classes a lot of the time he was really harsh at times, and yelled at them quiet a bit, and always held a bat as well.

Mona would feel a tap on her shoulder, it was a boy named Roman Campbell, he was known to be one of the really creepy kids in school, and was known to make others especially girls in their classes to be really uncomfortable as well. "Hows it going Mona?" He asked, her giving her another little nudge as he eyed Hedge for a moment. "Looks like he's on patrol like usual."

Athanasia Theroux

Location Courtyard of CRS

Despised was as good a word as any to put to Athanasia's feelings of Crystal Rivers School for troubled youths. Not all the teachers were awful, and not all the youths were troubled, but regardless a becon had been lit and the ten year old had heard the cry of war to put it poetically. While at the dreary school Athanasia had been forced to abandon her usual tastes in preference for the uniform of their lot. That had been another strike.

The final had always been that she was not here for any just reason. Her horrid 'not-father' father had placed her there. It wasn't her fault she had been plagued by horrid creatures stalking her! Of course when she admitted that her mother had looked stricken and the irritating man she had presumed as her father had looked furious and accused her of making it up! Crossing her arms Athanasia kept her head high as she turned her nose up at the food as other students peeled outside to enjoy their limited freedom. She had quickly scarfed down the unappetizing fare.

Spotting the form of Kiera Donovan leaning against a tree Athanasia's hackles went up as she saw another student was being accosted by the creepy Roman Campbell. She wasn't in any of his classes being so much younger but she had heard a thing or two and didn't like the attention he was paying to a possible recruit of her 'organization'. In her time at the school for troubled youths Athanasia had not sat idle. She had played the sweet and innocent girl to the teachers and behind their backs formed a band of like minded thinkers who despised the school. Pulling pranks and subtle rebellions against the system. Kiera was the age and muscles of the operation.

"He is a creepy one, isn't he?" Ash, as she was called by most, noted to Kiera as she appeared around the tree to one side of the older child. Her silvery blonde locks were braided off to one side as she tapped a finger against her lips. "I was thinking about recruiting her for or little 'game'." Black eyes looked down at the sitting Donovan then moved to observe Hedge. "I do have a question... A favor really." Then ten year olds cheek heated as she huffed a breathe. She hated seeming less than perfect but she could admit when something was out of her reach when she really wanted in her reach. Otherwise it was like trying to pull teeth to get her to admit it.

Arthur Stanford

Stepping out into the courtyard, Arthur grimaced. He couldn't believe how horrid the food was here. He knew better to complain, he'd just be told to eat it or starve. Luckily enough for him, he saw Mona off on by herself, with a boy who looked like less than a gentleman, Roman, was his name he believed. He'd heard less than good things about him, to say the least. Thinking for a moment, he decided to visit Mona, stepping to her side and clearing his throat, he said ,"Mona! Lovely to see you, how were your morning classes?" He asked, before acknowledging Roman, and turning to look him in the eye.

"Pardon me, I don't believe we've met." He said, his voice calm and collected. He knew he was far from imposing to older students, but that never stopped him from acting like the bigger man. "Is this one of your friends?" He asked, turning back to Mona, playing dumb. He'd never expect Mona to associate herself with someone like Mona, but it was better to keep his mouth shut and let her speak for herself. He looked down at the food tray in front of him, and exhaled. He had to find a way to stop eating this slop. He briefly played with the idea of throwing it at the creep, but he knew better than that. Besides, he hadn't done anything yet, but Arthur had a certain lack of faith in Roman.

Ezekiel Kel

Location:Medical Tent near the Training Grounds ---> Dining Pavilion -- Camp Half-Blood

Ezekiel was at the point of sleep when all the sounds around him grew loud before dropping off into silence as sleep would claim him. Too bad though because at that same time, Bryan came in and popped a plastic bag or some other gods awful contraption. Ezekiel’s eyes flew open and he twisted to stand, cursed and fell out of his chair. His heart was pounding in his chest as he looked up at Bryan and shot a glare at his cabin counselor. He suddenly felt like an irritable child who didn’t nearly get enough sleep.
”I don’t think getting a heart attack counts as taking a break. Thanks for that.” Ezekiel pushed himself to his feet and pushed Bryan after a second’s hesitation. He was smirking though at his friend. Bryan was a hard ass when he needed to be but he was a jokester and the best kind of friend to have. He groaned at the reminder of Capture the Flag.
”I guess I could go for some food. Care to join?” Bryan ruffled Ezekiel’s hair and nodded. The pair of them waltzed out of the tent and headed down a familiar path to the dining pavilion, talking about the upcoming game as well as healing techniques and music.
Ezekiel wasn’t a huge fan of capture the flag. He often volunteered to sit on the sidelines and help with the injuries. There were always injuries and quite a few serious ones that needed attention immediately during any of the games.
Upon entering the pavilion, Ezekiel yawned and stretched before trying to rub the sleep out of his eyes. That attempted nap in the chair was probably a bad idea. He was more tired now than he was before he sat down.

Desdemona Pemberton

Location: Crystal RiveSchool For Troubled Youth - Courtyard

Mona had been deeply invested in her apple when she felt a tap on her shoulder. Anyone with a will to live would know that it was not a smart thing to do so she turned to pace the perpetrator with an intense glare only to see it was Roman. Of course it was Roman. Let it be known that Mona didn't like anyone, regardless of social status. Roman just happened to be one of the creepier people in the school and with good reason. She barely had a social standing and even she knew being associated with him would tarnish it.

"Go away Roman." She stated matter-of-factly. However, she did glance up to see the gym teacher out and about. She did not get along well with him because she often avoided doing anything physical. She often would fake "stomach cramps" to get out of it and, if she was forced, would walk the mile run or disappear for a bit during any sport. It was the one class she did not care if she did well in.

And as if she put a spotlight out for everyone to talk to her, Arthur came up to her. Granted, she enjoyed his company far more than Roman's. "No, as a matter of fact. I was here minding my business, enjoying my apple when he decided to manifest himself. So, again, go away Roman."

@KazAlkemi Bryan smirked at his half-brother. "Well, you were sleeping on the job so you've been overworking yourself." Bryan said smirking a bit as they walked towards the Dining Pavilion as well. Once they were inside of it, he could see that lunch was starting to get ready and be served as the other campers made their way inside. Bryan walked over towards the Apollo table and sat down on it, then turned towards the Athena table seeing Kristin and the other Athena kids there as well, remembering that Zeke, Leda and Kristin went on a quest together for their father last summer.

@Morose (Will update your bit next round)

@BlueSky44 (Will update your bit once you get back.)

Kristin Reynolds

Location: Camp Half-Blood - Dining Pavilion.

Kristin leaned back in her seat as her food started to appear on her plate, she watched as some of the campers started to come in for lunch as well. Her cup was filled with vanilla coke, something that she always enjoyed drinking every chance that she got, Kristin watched the door as some Apollo kids came in. Seeing Bryan, who she didn't have an issue with at all really, but in came Zeke remember the quest last summer that she had gone with Leda on as well. She shifted slightly where she sat, and then got up from where she was sitting at and went to the brazier that was in the pavilion making the usual small sacrifice with a small portion of her food then Kristin went back to her table.

Kristin then started to wonder a little bit about that prophecy that was announced a few days ago and started to wonder what it all actually meant. They were always very confusing until they were finally being put together as events came to pass during any quest really, Kristin started to eat her lunch and made a bit of small talk with her half-siblings as well discussing plans for tonights capture the flag.

Kiera Donovan

Location: Crystal River School, For Troubled Youth - Court Yard

Kiera finished about half of her lunch when she heard Ash's voice turning her attention to see her friend, the girl was pretty damn small but she can be really evil and manipulative when she wanted to be as well. When she looked over towards where Desdemona was, and seeing Roman and cringed slightly. "Yeah, he's really creepy just came in like last semester with a few of his really creepy friends as well." Kiera said, shuddering slightly at the thought one of his friends tried to sniff her hair the other day as well. Kiera turned to face Ash more correctly now raising an eyebrow slightly. "What did you need Ash?" She asked her friend, while occasionally watching Hedge as he moved over towards one of the corners within the courtyard.

Roman stared at Arthur for a moment and crossed his arms over his chest and shrugged slightly. "We don't have any classes together." Roman said flatly and turned his attention back towards Desdemona. "Oh c'mon don't be so rude, to one of your classmates." He said smirking towards her as he took a step back in case she decided to hit her. "But alright i'll leave you be for now." Roman said, before turning around and made his way over towards some of his friends.

Leda Storm

Location: The Canoe Lake

Leda rolled her eyes slightly at the Limnade that lapped water at her feet. Her feet would dry off soon enough from a run, but just as she was about to take off she spotted Tammy. She smiled slightly at her sister. It was a bit of an odd idea for her to wrap her head around at first, all of the siblings she had that she never met before, but she was used to it by now. "Totally," she told Tammy. "Though if Zeke trips me, I am stabbing him in the shoulder."

It was one thing that she really hated. And with Capture the Flag tonight, she wouldn't be terribly shocked if someone on her team or on the other team decided to try to trip the daughter of Iris. At least with her siblings, it wasn't too much of an issue. Those who also were gifted with speed tended to understand the immense frustration. "Do you know what the teams are for tonight?" she then asked her sister. It would be fun to start glowing in front of some of the new campers. Leda always did enjoy doing that to surprise them.

Athanasia Theroux

Location Courtyard of CRS

Running a hand over the braid that held her pale hair off to one side, Athanasia gave a sigh of resentment. The ten year old truly did not like asking for help, but as she was- in fact- ten there was no help for it. Frowning she studied their crazed instructor as he wandered towards a corner of the courtyard. For a loud and hardheaded teacher, Hedge wasn't one on Athanasia's list. The man was an annoyance and a pest but not outright cruel like some of the others could be. Especially her maths teacher, Mz. Grimzle. The woman looked like a hag that had been brought from those pictures where knights talked to witches and peasants were constantly setting things on fire. Perfection was a necessity in that class according to Athanasia, and perfection kept her from being noticed in a negative way. Mz. Grimzle had a habit of making sure those who did badly in her class were utterly humiliated and while Athanasia wanted nothing more than to make sure the old hag got her just due, it was not time for it.

"Oh, la." The ghostly girl sighed, her dark eyes glittering with something that bordered on malice. It was the look that meant Athanasia was plotting the end for some teacher or other and it was not going to be pretty. For all her coloring, or lack thereof, Athanasia had one thing that stood out. A set of midnight black eyes that were bottomless. A gift from her father she was sure, for none of her mother's relatives had the black eyes and her 'not=father' had a pair of 'pearly blues' as her mother called them. Well, she wasn't so sure she liked them, but her mother adored them, saying they gave her a lovely contrast. Startling was more along of the lines of what Athanasia thought. More than once she had heard the whispers of 'Black-eyed children'. Utter nonsense!

"Mz. Grimzle is teaching us fractions." She stated slowly, clutching the paper under one arm defensively. "Fractions and how to mix them about and such..." Athanasia plopped on the grass with a uncharacteristic pout, as she thrust the paper at Kiera. The pale cheeks a bright pink at the scrawled numbers and symbols that marched about the page and jumbled together. "I cannot for the life of me get it! This is why human beings invented calculators, computers and things." The young girl ranted as she looked torn between being terribly upset at the teacher and terrible embarrassed at the situation as she turned her attention over to Roman's group of 'friends'. They resembled a pack of hyenas like in the Lion King to Athanasia's mind, though she would never admit that.

Ezekiel Kel

Location:Dining Pavilion -- Camp Half-Blood

Ezekiel waved his brother’s concern off and moved to grab a plate of food before settling down to eat some.
”Maybe using that overworked statement will get me out of Capture the Flag, hmm?” He sipped his water and took a bite of his food. His eyes wandered while he ate, taking in the students who were shuffling in and out of the dining pavilion. It seemed that this place was the epicenter. Everyone came here to well, eat and then relax or catch up with friends before they split off around the camp.
He looked over the table for Athena’s kids and spotted Kristin’s blonde head. Which was saying something since they all seemed to have blonde hair. He smirked, remembering their quest and then she stood, going over to the brazier to make the sacrifice. Ezekiel cursed. He was always forgetting that bit. He grabbed a chunk of his meat and got up to go toss it in.
”You’d think we wouldn’t have to do this anymore. Surely they’d want something different for a sacrifice in this modern age,” he said to his half-brother Bryan upon returning to the table.

Marygold Isley

Location: Strawberry Fields

"The year has been going pretty well, things are always a bit entertaining here, be sure of that," Mary said to Eva with a bit of a smile as she went about. She glanced over at the Satyrs slightly, shaking her head a little. The group were definitely an interesting sort to watch, and it didn't surprise her at all that they'd be in the Strawberry Fields. The area was always a great place to be, no matter what anyone else thought. She thought about asking a question in return to Eva, since she, unlike her, tended to leave the camp every now and then, while she tended to stay put, right where she was.

After a moment's thought, she looked back over at Eva, figuring it was best to ask a different sort of question instead. "So, how are you doing?" she asked simply, going back to work at tending to the Fields. It was better than to leave an awkward sort of silent between them, no matter what, since she felt like had she not said anything else, then it might have been a little strange. It didn't matter really to her, but she was perfectly fine talking to Eva about anything.

Arthur Stanford

Arthur allowed himself a smile as Roman walked off. For a moment, he was worried that it may turn physical, but apparently Roman knew better than to needlessly attack him. Directing his attention back towards Mona, he gestured his head back towards him, quietly saying, "Not exactly what I'd call a gentleman." He sat down for a moment, laying the food down in front of him, and started to pick at it, working his way up to choking down the food. He did despise that some men could be like Roman, and he knew that, at some point, he'd be back to bother her again, and that there was nothing he could do at that.

That seemed to be the central theme of this place; Futility. He couldn't do anything to get himself out of this place, he couldn't do anything about the food, or anything about detestable men like Roman. He figured that this was how prisons broke their inmates, which said worrying things about his current situation. He did consider that he might be feeling a tinge dramatic, but it nevertheless furthered his disgust for this institution. Shoving the first spoonful oh his food into his mouth, he swallowed hard and said ,"Of course, if you'd prefer to have lunch by yourself, I'll put myself elsewhere." He didn't expect her to take him up on that offer, but he felt like he should still put it out there.

Mona merely gazed at her apple as Roman finally took the hint and left. She didn't want others to associate herself with Roman and his annoying bunch of friends. Heck, she didn't want to be associated with anything in the school. Head down, pass classes, and get out while she could. That was the plan. Maybe cause some trouble now and then, but only because the school deserved it. No one here actually cared about rehabilitating troubled youth. It was a place to send kids when parents didn't want to deal with them.

Arthur remained and Mona did not mind. He was actually one of only a handful of people she gave any feeling about. "Knock yourself out if you wanna stay." Mona finished her apple before she scanned the school. Ash found her way over to Kiera now. Not the pair she would have put together but who was she to judge.

@KazAlkemi Bryan shrugged slightly as he got up and dropped a corndog that was on his plate and watched it burn up in flames, before turning to his half brother. "C'mon bro we'd could use your healing skills, you are one of the best healers around after all. Besides it's Ares and Athena cabins leading the teams, so that shits going to be really fun anyway." Bryan said as he sat back down at the table and continued to dig in on his lunch.

@Morose Tammy started to think for a moment at who were the teams tonight, and shrugged slightly. "I believe the leading teams are the Ares Cabin and Athena cabin, from last summer. Aside from the actual cabin set up i'm not to sure probably will find out later." Tammy said, as she looked over towards the Dining Pavilion. "Lunch is going to be served pretty soon I believe as well if you are hungry that is, I think there maybe an announcement by Chiron, or Mr. D about some people helping get some potential Half-Bloods to camp as well." She said to her half sister.

@BlueSky44 "Yeah theres never really a dull moment at camp." Eva said as she gave Mary a friendly smile as she stretched out a little bit. She looked down at a wilting strawberry bush and then used her ability and watched it starting to grow back to normal again and it was better than before. "My school year was alright, a guy kept trying to ask me out back home but nothing more really." Eva answered her. "So, are you going to play Capture the Flag tonight?" Eva asked Mary.

Kristin Reynolds

Location: Camp Half-Blood - Dining Pavilion.

Kristin continued to eat her lunch looking over at Zeke as he complained about the usual food sacrifice that they always made during their meals. "I don't think you would want to be turned into a dolphin or something Zeke, or something else." Kristin said with a slight laugh, knowing that it was a usual threat that Mr. D would always make to anyone who really annoyed or pissed him off.

She looked over at the front table seeing Rosie, Mr. D and Chiron all sitting together at the head of the table as they came in. Kristin then started to finish up the rest of her lunch and stood up stretching a little bit as she walked over setting her empty dirty plate on the cart to be cleaned. She then went back and sat down to talk with the rest of her brothers and sisters, about strategy tonight's game of Capture the Flag.

Kiera Donovan

Location: Crystal River School, For Troubled Youth - Court Yard

"So, do you want me to take her answer sheets or something?" Kiera asked Ash as she started to look over the paper that Ash handed her, and started to read through it. Math was certainly something Kiera did not like, as she looked up Kiera noticed that Roman and his group of friends started to fan out. She really did not like his friends at all, they always did really creep her out watching as they went to some students and started to pay them off for some reason. Kiera then watched them starting to leave one by one, looking over at Mona and Arthur as well as Ash to.

"I wonder what they are up to." Kiera said softly as she looked at the paper again that Ash had handed her, and started to think of something. "I could always prank her ruthlessly until she quits to." Kiera suggested, as she watched Hedge on his phone by the looks of it watching some kind of sports game. Eventually the courtyard was empty, except for herself, Ash, Mona, Arthur and Hedge as well.

Athanasia Theroux

Location Courtyard of CRS

Athanasia sighed in irritation, while she wanted to prank or get one up on the old hag it didn't seem like a good idea. Mz. Grimzle was a shrewd woman, and Athanasia was very careful to not poke the teacher overly much. "Tempting." The pale girl noted with a wicked giggle. "Though I think perhaps she too shrewd for it. A worthy opponent when you consider all things, even if she does drive me absolutely crazy!" It was a twisted sort of respect towards this adversary that she was actually struggling with. Careful planning and thinking were all good but this problem required a little bit more. So when Kiera offered to steal the answer sheets, Athanasia was sorely tempted to take the older girl up on her offer.

"Oh, la. That's cheating." The ten year old sighed as she toyed with her braid. "I want to best her rättvist." Justly, fairly. Evenly. If only to prove she was indeed better and be able to walk away with her head held high. Though her innocent face tilted as she considered the ruthless pranks to drive Mz. Grimzle form the school. Needless that would be prove a sweeter victory in the long run, thus Athanasia nodded absently. "That sounds better, though she's sharper than a tack and it's going to have to be pretty extremely." Her gaze turning to what had caught Kiera's attention, and the small ringleader frowned. It was strange that everyone was leaving, but could it be time to go back in? She hadn't heard anything... "Kiera? Is it time to go in already?" Deciding to follow the masses, Athanasia snatched the paper from Kiera and gave her a quick hug before making for the school. She wasn't the one who was supposed to be in the thick of it right now, and blending in was her first choice in this covert operation.

Ezekiel Kel

Location:Dining Pavilion -- Camp Half-Blood

Ezekiel masked his face into slight disgust at his brother’s corn dog burning. Seriously. What god wanted a corn dog as a sacrifice? Surely they wanted gold or music or something more appealing. Like a steak.
He looked over at Kristen when she spoke up to his protest and he smirked.
”Dolphin’s are one of the most intelligent animals on the planet. Don’t mind that so much,” he said with a grin.
He walked back to his table with his brother, leaving Kristen to her own. He beamed with pride at the compliment his brother gave him. He didn’t think he was the best but he was definitely one of them. Ezekiel was dedicated to his job. More so than any fifteen year old should be.
”Keep that up and you might just talk me into it,” he half-joked. He ate the rest of his lunch happily.
No matter who led the camp in a game of capture the flag, it was always eventful and there were always a mountain of injuries. Yes, no matter what people needed the kids of Apollo. Needed Ezekiel and it made him feel good.
