Cassandra leaned forward slightly as she listened to Oliver as he told the group what he had found out about the skrull threat and that the aliens intended to replace all of the world leaders at Geneva which wasnt good at all. And that they couldnt outright strike at them first without causing an international incident, or being caught by the Kree taking out the skrulls easily. Which was going to be really difficult. "So we have to basically fight them one hand behind our backs then." She said as Cass looked towards Bonnie coming up with a plan, which sounded better then her team's faces werent plastered all over the news like all of the Avengers and X-Men were which could work to their advantage.

[color=6ecff6]"That should work."[/color[ She said turning to look at Alex for a moment, he knew more about the security at the White House. "What else should we expect at the White House, security wise aside from Secret Service? Assuming you have mutant detection equipment in there somewhere to, we would have to disable that." Cass said, since most of the team were mutants unlike Oliver, Amelia, Bonnie and Matt she turned to look at Hawkeye and smiled towards him. "We can handle it, as long as everyone sticks to the plan and doesnt question it." Cass said looking at Kwassi for a moment.

Evelyn leaned back slightly as she looked at the others in the room as they explained the skrull threat, and they would need to infiltrate the White House and then pose as some Secret Service Agents. She was pretty good with that sort of stuff and she had no problems sneaking into the White House. Though she didnt like the idea of having to hold back since the other alien threat would see that as a threat she listened to the group talking and remained fairly quiet for the time being.

"Sounds like a good plan, though how would we lure someone like a world leader away if they had replaced them without being caught?" EVelyn asked, that was one of the concerns since she had a feeling that would be a bit difficult since they are will be surrounded by their own protection detail.

Maria fixed up her hair slightly looking at the skrulls who were unconscious feeling bad for the ones that she had actually ended up killing, she turned to look at Mr. Fantastic. As he explained where they were and how long it would take to get them back, being away from home for eight years was something Maria did not like at all she had a child on the way to. Even a month or a year was way to long for her to be away from home as well to when Captain Marvel used the console to get them back to Earth quickly.

"Looks like you aren't the smartest man in the world anymore." Maria said jokingly as she looked over her shoulder towards where Princess Anelle and the Wasp were. "Well we have four days to get home, theres probably some useful intel in the computers. We could figure out what they were doing to us, and what they plan on doing to Earth as well i'll be back." Maria said as she turned and started to make her way over to where The Wasp and the Princess were.

Kwassi gave T'Challa a smile and a nod in agreement to refer to him by his name rather than title while out of Wakanda. His attention turned back to Oliver, finally giving out the information that was needed on the Skrull Invasion. The more he spoke the more bleak it was beginning to look. They said they were fighting with one hand tied behind their backs but it felt more like they were fighting with both hands tied in a fencing contest. He went from leaning forward in his chair to leaning back, hands folded in his lap as he began to think about how best to barely beat back an alien force without giving them too much of an inch that could end up screwing them over.

Agent Reeds look didn't go unnoticed. Nor did the words she said. "I am more than capable of sticking to a plan Agent Reed do not worry." Granted if it is a stupid ass plan the he would neglect to follow it, say joining the side of the skrulls during civil unrest. He knew the team didn't trust him, after all in a sense he betrayed them, but the one thing they kept overlooking was that he was right in the end. "Luckily I'm human, so Mutant detectors won't go off with me. Perhaps we can create an emp fielded wrist watch, something to deactivate or dampen the readers so that when I pass through it allows you all the ability to make it through as well." He stopped to look at the other sci-tech nerds to see if they had any better ideas.

Niah knew most of what Oliver was going to say, but she listened closely to see if she got a new idea. She was thinking about them posing as Secret Service and then Bonnie suggested it. However, she realized she was going to have to get to the point of being able to walk. She winced at the thought. The next few days would be working on that.

"Luckily, our team isn't super well known. We can use that to our advantage. Bonnie, I'm going to need your help getting to walking again. I think a Secret Service agent in a wheelchair is...suspicious." She smiled. She was going to be part of this. The other option would be for her to be bait, but she wasn't high profile enough. The president was, but they had already tried to replace him.

"We could use Alexander as bait. However, we have an issue. They already tried to replace him. Right? We don't know if they think he is replaced or free. They might treat him as a Skrull." She looked to Dr. Larson. "How do the Skrulls know each other?"

Matt had experience with infiltration so he wasn't worried about his part in the plan, which wasn't made yet. People were throwing out ideas. And he didn't mind the one about posing as Secret Service. He could look the part easily enough. He also wasn't a mutant so any anti-mutant measures wouldn't catch him. The world really wasn't ready for inhumans. He was surprised there weren't already laws going into place to do the same to his kind.

He sipped his coffee. Thinking of what they could do. They needed two plans. One was the plan it looked like they were trying to do and the second plan was the real one. "Alright, if we have to play this like we're idiots then I have an idea. We need two plans. The one that looks like a fumble. Someone get's kidnapped or something. Like obviously a bad plan. And we have a second plan. One so clean no one ever realizes we have it. The dumb luck one looks like it succeeds though. That one is our cover." He nodded. "Using the President as bait might just be a dumb plan."

Oliver Sullivan

Location: Batron Homestead
Skills: JAck of All trades(Engineering)

Oliver could guess that some of the team was less than thrilled with him choosing to keep the information to himself, and he didn't know if, should he have to do everything again, he would have done things differently. Parsing the branching paths of decisions was hard, and not something he could really do. Attacking the white house sounded like a suicide mission, given that it was probably the single best defended fortress on the planet, but hey, they were Shield's best, right? Oliver sighed, and passively wondered if breaking into the White House would get his green card revoked, or if it would just get him a permanent residence in Cuba.

Oliver's mind switched onto the practicality of the team's latest act of domestic terrorism. Kwassi's initial idea didn't sit well with him, "Sneaking an emp into the White House might be possible, but the second it goes off, we've left a trail and we run the risk of collateral damage tipping them off. Dampening though, could maybe work, or something like it." Oliver said sitting down at last, and popping open his phone, doing a quick search, before continuing, "Those scanners link back to a security room, probably through the White House's intranet, I might be able to write a virus that could make the scanners read mutants as humans. I'd favor interfering on the software side of things myself, but that's also where I'm best, so I could hear opposition." If they could pull that off, they'd just need to worry about deployment of it, and any inhuman precautions the White House might have

Alex nodded his head slightly when Agent Chase came up with her idea of what they could do. It definitely could work, sneaking back into the White House sounded like a whole lot of fun to him. "Security there is pretty standard for what you might imagine, security cameras everywhere, every single guard in the place is armed. There are a few anti-mutant sensors at the entrances, but only at the entrances. They insisted on keeping the sensors but I made them put them at the entrances only since otherwise Alcie would be setting off the sensors constantly if they were everywhere within the building. So once you get past those then you are free for the most part, not having to worry about any sort of scanners elsewhere..."

His mind wandered away from their current situation and towards his little girl. Alex was seriously hoping that Alcie was okay and that she wasn't hurt or anything. If anything happened to her while he was stuck away from the White House, he wouldn't really be able to forgive himself for it. Snapping away from those thoughts, he jumped back to the current situation with regards to the security still, "At the entrances, there is also a security checkpoint. If we are going in pretending to be members of the Secret Service then likely we'll have to pass through it at some point. Meaning that likely would be a little more concerning then the sensors themselves."

She was just standing back, listening to all of the ideas that were being thrown around with regards to getting themselves into the White House. Her mind started thinking about what they were saying about the sensors. In her mind, Oliver's idea was somewhat dumb, yes, software wouldn't really leave a trace, however you'd either have to get into the building and upload it directly, or infect the system specifically by have someone else open up an email infected with the virus or something like that. "I have a different solution to that problem that doesn't involve that sort of thing... Mr. President, any ideas of how long we have until they leave for the summit?" she said, looking over towards Alex with the last part of her sentence.

"Let's skip the formalities and you can just call me Alex... Anyway not for another 6 days or so."

"That gives me plenty of time then," she muttered, before looking back at Oliver. "The virus is alright, but they'd notice the sensors were down and likely would result in heightened security, since I doubt they'd ignore that system going down or being messed with. However I could build a small device for everyone, like a watch or something that could just let off a small pulse when within range that would cause the sensors not to go down or anything. Small enough to not draw attention, but something that could confuse them into thinking those of us who are mutants are instead humans. It would take me a day or so in order to do that, but it does sound like we'd have the time for that. Might be able to fix Cass' sight problem there with a robotic eye while we're at it. If you all want to go that route."

All of the Skrulls were down now thankfully, which meant that they didn't have to worry about any of them for a little while, until the Skrulls that were likely elsewhere on the ship decided to come investigate why their pals on the bridge weren't responding. He was glad to hear that they were only a few days away from reaching Earth now. Made him wonder if the other Skrull ships would notice this one heading towards Earth and not staying put. Then again that was a problem for another time. Right now they just needed to worry about getting back to Earth and not so much everything else that could happen in the span of 4 days, who knew what was going on back home.

"We should probably stay on alert, there are probably more Skrulls here, and if this place is too quiet then the other ones might get curious and head our way," he said with a slight nod of his head, before much like Maria, he headed out of the immediate bridge area. It was partially to check on the princess, but also partially to keep an eye out for anymore of the Skrulls. "Are you alright Princess?" Flynn asked her gently, not sure what sort of reaction he was going to expect. He and Maria at least when she yelled about needing to not kill them had switched to non-lethal combat. The others were another story.

Skrull Prison Ship - Orbiting Saturn

Mister Fantastic looked positively flabbergasted at Maria's comment, as if it was impossible to imagine not being the smartest man alive. Banner was long gone, meaning that his only real competition was Tony Stark - and, well, Reed was fairly certain the alcohol had killed Tony's brain cells off more efficiently than any supervillain could have done. "That's - that's incorrect! Anyone can know a fact, that doesn't give you intelligence!" Reed protested.

Sue rolled her eyes. "Honey, be careful, your ego is showing."

Off the bridge and back in the hallway, the Wasp looked thankful to have someone else present. Princess Anelle had lost it. Her eyes were irritated from crying, her hair was a bit of a mess, and there was a wet spot on the Wasp's chest that indicated basically Princess Anelle had been sobbing into the West Coast Avenger. "How'd it go in there?" Hope asked.

Princess Anelle sniffled, looking at Maria and Flynn. It would have been easy for her to hate them, for her to lash out and scream. But instead, her shoulders sank slightly. "It matters not whether I am alright... only how my people fare is important now," she said softly. "Either kill me as well and make me a martyr for my people, or return me to my cell. It is all the same."

Clint Barton's Homestead - Missouri: 8:50 A.M.

Bonnie bit back a slight smile at the shade Cass threw at Kwassi. Kwassi hadn't made the best first impression on her, and as a Catholic girl, she was quick to judge. She wasn't going to cling to her judgment though - if Kwassi changed her mind, then he changed her mind. She'd rather see someone change for the better than cynically doubt that it could ever be possible. Case in point, Evelyn annoyed her slightly. "Like I said, Captain America sets up a meeting in the Oval Office. We take out the Secret Service there quietly and take out the skrull imposter." They didn't need to lure the fake President away.

She glanced at Niah, thinking for a moment. She didn't know if Niah would be able to be wheelchair free with their timeline. And of course, Sparky was visibly pregnant. However as Sparky and Kwassi started talking about tech, the puzzle pieces snapped together for her. "Sparky and Niah could be our girls in the chair - essentially running the tech end of this mission, making sure to reroute cameras and whatnot to keep us in the clear," she proposed.

"Ooo, girls in the chair? That sounds wicked cool!" Amelia gushed. "Hey, Sparks, question, do people actually say I'm in and stuff when they finish hacking? I assume you know how to hack, you seem like a tech minded person, really everyone here from SHIELD seems to be pretty good at tech, although Fury I have a personal headcanon that you don't know how to use Snapchat that I would looove to be proven wrong about if you got a mo."

"I think I'm a little old for Snapchat," Fury said dryly. "More of a MySpace guy."

"I like that idea," Raynor said with a smirk. It kept his pregnant wife away from the action. And he was happy that Sparky was getting to use her skills. He knew that she felt invisible at times on the team - a part of him found it ironic she hadn't developed invisibility for her mutant power instead of flight or electricity manipulation at times. "We can sneak the President in as just another Secret Service agent, trust me, all you need is a good pair of shades and no one will recognize you. A baseball hat helps too, but it wouldn't be in character."

"Alright, it seems we have the swap planned. Going off of what... Moss, right? said, we should think strategy for the convention itself," Agent 13 interjected.

"Your cat, it detects skrulls?" Captain America said, glancing over at Goose. He stroked his cheek for a second, thinking. "Any chance you could get some more cats like that? Could be useful."

Amelia tried not to giggle too much, picturing a cat army.

"Yes, actually. There are more flerkens on this planet than you would expect - the Kree had a specific breeding program where they were sent to inhabited worlds. And each flerken lays over one hundred eggs at a time, so they reproduce readily... If we tried enough animal shelters, we should be able to find some," Mar-Vell suggested.

"Sooooo we're going kitty cat hunting? Awesome!"

Cassandra looked at Kwassi for a moment and nodded slightly, he hadn't really made any good impressions on her since she had met, at least Amelia had gone off and helped Sparky find Raynor which made her trust more than Kwassi right now. She listened to the others speaking about the sensors it was good that they were just at the entrances to the White House then. She gave Sparky a smile as she came up with a plan to and nodded the devices should be easy to make, she needed to have her eyesight back as well to.

"The watch thing should be doable then, lets go with that. Also having a Secret Service Agent with an eyepatch would draw a bit attention to. So Fury, Sparky and Niah stay behind and run interference on security tech then while the rest of us do the swap in the White House." Cass listened to Mar-Vell speak and mentioning more cats like Goose, that would be entertaining she wasnt sure how Goose would react though with others of his kind. But if it would help screening the skrulls at the convention it would help, since only Niah Raynor and Goose are the only ones who had the ability to do that to.

Evelyn looked at Bonnie for a moment, and shook her head slightly she wasnt talking about the White House, she was meaning when they got to the convention. "I meant the convention not at the White House, the plan is solid there." Evelyn said to Bonnie as she listened to the others talking as they thought of ways to get into the White House. The others talking about tech wasnt really interesting to her, she wasnt much of a tech expert either.

She smiled slightly at the idea of having a cat army trying to sniff out the skrulls at the convention though that would be an entertaining sight to see a bunch of cats running around there. For the most part they had a plan on getting the President there and she didnt have to much else to input at the moment.

Maria looked over towards Hope for a moment seeing the wet spot where the princess had been crying at, feeling really bad for what she had done to the skrulls on the bridge. "The Bridge is secured, Flynn, She-Hulk and I switched to non-lethal I can't say much for the others though.." Maria said softly as she turned to face the princess, she wasnt going to hurt the princess anymore than she had aready, and they needed her on their side as well to coming up with an idea. If she could use her power to absorb the shapeshifting ability of the skrulls she could try and act like their leader.

"You have my word that none of us will kill anymore of your people." Maria said to Princess Anelle, trying to gain her trust. "If you can tell me where your leader is right now, I might have a way to get them to stand down. I have the ability to take others powers, so I could use your shapeshifting ability to play as her if they listen to me I can tell them to not attack any of us. That way we both win, we won't hurt them and they won't attack us." Maria suggested hopefully the plan would work and no one else would end up getting hurt.

It appeared to Kwassi that for the most part a lot of those present focused on the wrong part of his plan. The EMP was an idea, but the general idea was more along what everyone was spitballing. Ways to trick or lower the detectors to allow for their Mutant and inhuman partners to follow through without notice. Sparky seemed to be on the same page as him however, noting the best device to carry out their plan should be small, compact, and inconspicuous like a watch. He wasn't sure if everyone was agreeing with her or him on that idea, but honestly so long as it got done he didn't care who got the credit for the watch idea. Most everyone these days has a smart watch anyways, so having a bit of higher tech on their wrist wouldn't be much of an issue.

Kwassi nodded along to the suggestions, pausing for a moment as he heard about an army of skrull detecting cats. He wondered if flerkens could find other flerkens, making their search easier. Or if they even had time to do such a search. "I can help with the creation of the dampening watch. I'm sure with all our brains combined we can create the software and programming needed to achieve our goal. In the meantime, perhaps a small group could go cat shopping and look for any more flerkens if possible." In these sort of situations it was best to divide and conquer. Getting as much done as possible in as little time.

She frowned a little bit at Bonnie putting her on the sideline but it was the right move so she nodded. She had to accept she had new limitations. How long would it be till she could run again? Her heart ached suddenly at the thought that she might never be able to again. Niah took a slow breath. No. She wouldn't accept that. She would learn how to walk with the robotic leg Dr. Larson had given her. She'd learn what all it could do.

"We're going to need a lot more cat treats." Niah smiled at the idea of having more Flerkens around. "Sparky just show me what you want me to do. I can press the buttons you want to be pressed." She smiled. She knew robotics but that knowledge didn't extend to how to hack or anything like that. It would be best for her to just be support for Sparky in this case.

"Yeah, Matt Moss." He told Evelyn with a nod. The plan for the White House was solid. They could easily get in and make the switch with the fake president. He frowned, who was Alcie? "Uh, sorry I don't pay much attention to who's who in the White House, who is Alcie?" Matt asked Alex.

"Can we get blueprints for where the convention is being held?" There were enough people with high computer competency for one of them to get them he was sure. They needed to know their exits. "Alex were you briefed on what the conference is about?" He sort of hoped there was a dossier they could look over.

As the team opted to go with the EMP design, Oli shrugged. He thought it was dangerous, but if it worked, that would be enough. Deployment of a virus carried risks too, of course, they were just of a different kind. He trusted himself to be able to write it in such a way that it left no trace, but that was how he was. He would rather have something fail due to a mistake on his part than run the risk of unknowns or on site malfunction cause issue. He'd help how it could with the watch design; he was no stranger to engineering, even if he preferred to operate in the software space. "EMP it is then." He agreed

As for the idea of Niah and Sparky running tech, Oli hesitated. He supposed he was fine for field ops, and he had his share of experience there, but most of that was combat, not the type of deception that would be required here. That being said, between Sparky's pregnancy, and Niah's newfound monoplegia, he couldn't disagree that they should sit out. Besides, he wasn't the same agent he was when he joined Shield. Between the newfound powers and changes he had to make to his personality to survive, he was confident he could at least function in the field well enough.

Sparky was a bit annoyed at Kwassi really. Typically she was the person who dealt with the technology and what not for the group, not him. Plus apparently everyone misunderstood who her entire meaning with what she had said. She hadn't been referring to an EMP field at all. She had simply been referring to more like a shield effect that wouldn't damage the sensors since that would make it obvious that someone messed with it. But nope, everyone decided to think she meant an EMP field as opposed to more of a cloaking effect, how typical this was really, people were still just walking over her and ignoring what she actually was saying. "I'm not really a hacker type truthfully Amelia, so I don't know. I build tech and mess with robotics for the most part..."

Jakobsen glanced over at Matt when he asked who Alcie was. "...She's my daughter and is only a few months old," he said in response, "She was born at the beginning of February." Of course his mind was going back to if the Skrull person who had replaced him might hurt Alcie, and the thought wouldn't exactly leave. A part of him really wanted to when they got to the White House go find her and Jade first, to let others deal with the Skrull, but he knew that wasn't the best idea. He knew they needed to take out the Skrulls, but he really wanted to find his family.

Turning her attention towards Kwassi she shook her head at him. "Actually I am perfectly capable of doing it without your help, besides unlike the rest of you I can't exactly go help you all out and go on the mission itself, so how about you let me do it and you can go find the other Flerkens. I don't need your help, and might I point out you all sort of missed what I initially said. I wasn't referring to an EMP field, since that would damage the sensors and make things obvious that someone is there. I was more of referring to almost like a shield that scrambles things ever so slightly so everyone registers as a human and not anything else." It was somewhat clear that she was somewhat annoyed with being unable to go fight with everyone else. Thing was she didn't really want anyone's help since it gave her something to do and focus on and not sit there essentially snapping at everyone with regards to not being able to go.

There was the second part of Matt's question, and it resulted in him having to shake the thoughts that were still going through his head and to try answering the question. "The White House itself probably does, once we get back there and actually evict the Skrulls, we can pull and get just about any sort of info you might possibly want with regards to how that whole conference is going to work. So we might just need to get that sort of info afterwards, but we definitely can get that info afterwards when we actually come up with a plan for the conference itself."

"As well as could be expected I guess," Flynn said to Hope with a bit of a shrug, letting Maria explain the entire situation more. He felt a bit bad for the princess, who clearly wasn't a horrible person, telling them to either lock her up or just to kill her and get it over with. That was not something that he even wanted to really think about, killing someone or whatever who clearly isn't posing a threat just is a horrible thing to even think about doing. Hearing her words, he shook his head slightly at her.

"We don't want to hurt you princess," he said honestly to her, "We don't really want to hurt anyone really, we just want to get back home in order to stop what the Empress that you mentioned is trying to do to our world..." his attention went to Maria with her suggestion and he shook his head. "The princess already said that the Empress isn't on this ship, so that idea wouldn't work unless you are referring to the actual leader of this specific ship, then maybe we'll luck out with that..."

Skrull Prison Ship

"Yes, the Empress wouldn't be here - this is a ship for prisoners as far as I can tell," Anelle confirmed. She didn't protest though at the idea of Maria impersonating a skrull - something that Wasp picked up on instantly. Wasp furrowed her eyebrows. "Princess, can skrulls identify other skrulls on sight if you're transformed?"

Anelle shook her head. "No, we cannot. And the creation of a device that would do so is forbidden by law, as it would allow the Kree to expose us."

"So there's no way for someone to tell if you're the one giving the command - or if the Empress is?" Wasp asked.

"Only the universal weapon of the Kree accusers could," Anelle said. "Although it would be too dangerous to attempt to steal it from Ronan the Accuser. He's one of the most fearsome men in the galaxy and has killed more of my countrymen than you have tonight," she finished quietly.

The Wasp was formulating a plan. If they could get their hands on this universal weapon, it'd make their lives a lot easier back on Earth. The Kree couldn't be that bad, right? Besides, they'd have the element of surprise. The Kree wouldn't be expecting a bunch of Earth heroes to come and steal from them. "Do you know who the leader of this ship is?" Wasp then followed up.

"No, I do not... If I were to guess, I would say perhaps Criti Noll. She's a devout follower of the Empress and a religious zealot."

Clint Barton's Homestead - Missouri: 9:00 A.M.

"Yeah, because a black guy in a van outside of the White House won't set off any alarms," Fury couldn't help but quip. He didn't like that it was true, but it was true. If anyone got a glance of him inside of the van, they'd instantly assume the worst and call the police. They'd either need tinted windows on the van or Fury'd make more sense to pose as a bystander, maybe at a coffee shop or something - or even just coordinating the mission from here on the farm. "I'm going to stay here with the others. I trust you on this op. And if my trust in you all has been misplaced, you motherfuckers will live to regret it."

"Not an EMP, man," Spider-Man commented, shaking his head at Oliver. "We, like, just had an entire moment about why EMPs are a bad idea - like an idea on the same level as not loving pizza rat."

"I don't like waiting until after the fact for a plan," Agent 13 grimaced. "It seems risky to put him back in the White House without having our plan for the convention ready."

"I get that, Sharon, but I don't think we have another choice," Falcon argued. "We can set up secure communication lines, and use these magic cats to make sure the skrulls don't replace him again."

"Flerkens, not magic cats," T'Challa corrected. "Magic cats are more of a Wakandan specialty," he joked, trying to lighten the tension ever so slightly. Most people expected him to be deadly serious all the time, the leader of a supposedly impoverished third world country, or an active member of the Avengers, or even part of the Illuminati. He liked to just be T'Challa every now and then, rather than holding the weight of the world on his shoulders constantly.

"Sounds like we've got our missions," Captain America summarized. "I say we finish breakfast and then hit the nearest animal shelter. Agent Sparks, if there's anything you need for your work, don't hesitate to ask," he offered, before holding out his hand for her to shake.

Bonnie couldn't help but wonder, after Mar-Vell mentioned that the Kree liked to send flerkens to different worlds, how many other alien races were meddling with Earth. Thor and all of Asgard was heavily involved - case in point, Raynor was at their table. The inhumans on the moon had meddled with their world. Thanos and the Black Order had nearly razed the planet. The skrulls were trying to take over the Earth. Loki's Chitauri had made a mess of things in New York City. And then, there was whatever was happening with her - something Bonnie still couldn't explain, something that terrified her.

Was Flynn even still alive? Was he out there in space, adrift, hopeless, and afraid? She couldn't imagine him afraid. But she hadn't been able to imagine James dying and he had been killed all the same. The universe was rarely kind to her when it came to matters of the heart. They hadn't even really discussed everything Flynn was keeping from her, with regards to what had happened with Wanda Maximoff's reality warping. And she doubted they ever would.

"I'm going to stay behind with Sparky, I think I'm entitled to that after all my time in a coma," Raynor bargained. He didn't feel like going to a bunch of animal shelters anyways. He doubted they'd be able to find a lot of flerkens, Goose seemed to be more or less unique, so even if they did, would they really be able to train them in time? He doubted it. But he wasn't going to mention these doubts, as he selfishly wanted to spend time alone with Sparky and not with anyone else.

"Well I am definitely going to the shelter!" Amelia chimed in. Hawkeye looked particularly tired, just sort of staring down at his food before rubbing his eyes slightly. Everyone was exhausted and starving, so most people went back to more or less just eating as they considered the finer details of what exactly they were going to get up to.

That was, of course, until there was the sound of a stampede coming from the stairs and three high pitched squeals of "DAAAAAAADDY!"

Cass looked at Sparky for a moment as she snapped at Kwassi and shook her head slightly, she was the best when it came to tech as well. "Sparky, you should take point on the tech side of things, pick and choose whoever you think is the best to help you with making those dampening watches, while the rest of us will go on the cat hunt." Cass said, she didnt really argue with Raynor wanting to stay by her side right now either really and he was probably recovering from his injuries to.

She looked towards Matt for a moment and smiled slightly when he asked who Alcie was. "Like Alex said, she's his daughter and a mutant as well to." Cassandra told him, she had known Alex when he was the head of OMEN at the time before he became president, though she had never met her before either at the time. "How is she and Jade doing anyway?" She asked looking over at Alex, and nodded towards Captain America as she reached for a plate and started to grab herself some cereal as well.

"The sooner we eat the quicker we can head out and get the details of the mission done with." Cassandra said as she took another spoonful of her cereal when she heard some kids running around upstairs and looked over at Hawkeye for a moment.

Evelyn grabbed herself a bowl of cereal as well to and started to eat as she leaned back listening to the others going on with the details of the mission. "I'll go on the cat hunt then." Evelyne said she wasnt a techie and wouldnt really know where she would be useful with that as she looked at everyone else. "Unless you guys need me somewhere else." She said.

Giving a bit of a shrug as she continued to eat her breakfast and got up to pour herself a glass of water. Evelyne looked over to where the stairs were as she could hear some kids squealing and yelling daddy running upstairs was kind of cute as she finished up eating the rest of her breakfast.

"Well whoever is in control of the ship then." Maria said shrugging slightly, she looked towards The Wasp for a moment as she asked the princess about skrull detection or if they had any way to tell. She was surprised though that the princess didnt object to her idea of impersonating one of their own it was better than killing all of them anyway.

She wasnt sure what they wanted to do with the Kree but if it was a way to help detect other skrulls back home it could be useful. "So whats the plan then?" Maria asked looking at Hope for a moment seeing that she had something in mind. "I impersonate this Criti Noll person and then what?"

Kwassi Asokho

Location: Batron Homestead
Skills: Photographic Memory : 16

Kwassi was about to point out to Oliver that it wasn't an EMP that they had agreed on. In fact they all agreed it would be something akin to it but not at that level. They wanted stealth tech, something that wouldn't even rouse suspicions if it went off. But before he could correct Agent Sullivan, the woman most seemed to call Sparky, went off and began to say how everyone misunderstood her plan. Kwassi tried hard not to roll his eyes at how she was misunderstood. Even though this was one of his ideas from the get go, she simply modified it with a better understanding. Ofcourse Spider-Man chimed in to help drive the point home and by then Kwassi saw no point in creating an echo chamber.

In all honesty Kwassi was unsure if her outburst was due to the immense pressure riding on this mission, or the simple fact that given her pregnant status she was more prone to hormonal outbursts. Whichever the case, he knew better than to argue with her or any of the women here. "Agreed. We are creating dampeners to help cloak our non human allies and allow them to temporarily masquerade as humans. Sparky, if I may call you that, I will be more than happy to help on the Flerken hunt if you believe you can handle this alone." He offered her a smile, hoping to mend any rough patches that may of sprung up over breakfast somehow. They all needed to work together now more than ever, so comradery was a high priority.

Oliver Sullivan

Location: Batron Homestead

Oliver shook his head for a moment. Whatever brainfog was in his head needed to get out before he fucked up in a way that actually counted. Maybe i twas the worry of breaking into the most secure building on the planet, maybe it was the realization that the skrull situation was finally coming to an end one way or another. Either way, they needed smart Oliver right now, not "Opens a door unleashing with Terrigen Mist and almost kill his teammates" Oliver, and he was far too close to the latter right now. In any case, Oli could see that something was making Sparky upset, he figured he should stay away from that.

Following up on the Flerkens, Oli asked, "Is there any good way to tell a Flerken from a regular cat that won't cause a public panic?" He looked Goose up and down, not really seeing anything that made him seem different on the surface from a regular housecat, "Are they all orange at least? Oh! Could Goose tell them apart?" That seemed liked the most obvious solution, Flerkens had to be able to identify one another, if they couldn't how would they make more Flerkens? This hinged, of course, on Goose being cool with being their Flerken detector, and Oliver had no idea how Goose would feel about helping.

Niah had to control her features when Cass asked about Jade. Realizing that going to the White House would involve meeting her again did not give Niah warm fuzzy feelings. She focused on her breakfast. They had something resembling a plan. It was better than some of their older plans which were stumbling into the situation and hope it works out. Which was how she had gotten shot and how Sparky had ended up in the Quantum Realm. Hopefully, they wouldn't be facing any issues like that. It was only shapeshifting aliens that could perfectly copy anyone and everyone. Her furrowed brow evened out.

"As much as I'd love to go on the Flerken hunt, I think I'll stay here." She let the group know. There were a few reasons why she was deciding that. She did love the idea of going to find Flerkens, but she knew she'd be sad to leave all the other animals behind. She also knew that she wasn't ready for that much activity. And she wanted to spend a bit of time trying to walk. Bonnie would be pissed she suspected and hoped she would go Flerken hunting.

She smiled brightly at the sound of kids. That was a pleasant sound. That was something she fought to survive every day. This place was a good reminder of why they did what they did. And Niah could see why Barton protected it so closely.

"Ah, congrats." That was what people said when other people said they had a kid, but it sounded a little awkward coming from Matt. He had come to the conclusion he wouldn't be having children. He couldn't have them as a male or female. Maybe if Cass wanted kids they could adopt or do surrogacy. He'd let her decide. He froze a little as he realized what his thought had been. Did he want kids with Cass?

"She's only a few months old but her x-gene is active?" He didn't know a lot about how mutants got their powers but he was pretty certain it was later in life, usually around puberty. "Uh, I'll go on the Flerken hunt. I like cats. And...cat-like creatures." He smiled. He thought about the dog that Skrull-Roman had given Flynn and wondered how it was doing. Had Skrull-Flynn cared for the dog? Was the dog a Skrull? Was that something they could do?

"It's not active," Jakobsen said to Matt with a slight shrug, "And before you ask no didn't have her tested for it, but I do know she has it and I'm not going to explain how I know. The sensors at the White House are pretty sensitive even though it isn't really active, yet but odds are it will be when she's older." That was about all he was going to say about it, at the moment they had to focus more on the situation at hand, that being that they had to deal with the Skrull problem still. Which was a major sort of problem that was threatening the world still.

Of course, a part of him did wonder if Jade figured out that something was off about the Skrull that had replaced him. That was a bit of a comforting thought, at least he thought it was comforting. Then that would mean a whole other slew of issues. He looked over at Cass when she asked how Jade and Alcie were doing, "As far as I know, alright last I saw them, not sure right now or anything like that..." Currently he had no idea where they were or if they were okay, he was hoping for the best, but was mentally going through the worst in his mind.

"Who said I was going to be working this or whatever alone?" she asked, raising a bit of an eyebrow at the guy. Yup, he definitely seemed like a big idiot in her mind. Since if he paid any attention at all, he'd know that obviously Niah was going to be sticking with her, "At the very least Niah can help me, so you can go off and play with cats, have fun with that," she added with an eye roll now. The guy was an idiot, he didn't pay any attention to anyone except for himself. She didn't bother correcting him with her nickname that typically her friends were the only ones who called her that, and everyone on the team (aside from him) were her friends.

Now Sparky glanced over to look at the others, "It will just take me a while, but once the thing is designed shouldn't be too hard to actually assemble it and ensure that it works... Now for the other thing, might I suggest that Cass and maybe Bonnie both stay behind so that I can see about outfitting Cass with a robotic eye so that at the very least she can maybe see..." Yeah, she was not wanting Kwassi anywhere near her, which was part of the reason she wanted Bonnie to stay behind. Plus she figured that Bonnie might want to stay behind and keep an eye on Niah.

Goose meanwhile had been just sitting there purring like crazy, but now it seemed like he might be getting annoyed with the group with referring to them wanting to get other Flerkens/Cats. In response to this, he jumped up onto the table and started knocking things over. As in he would specifically look at people, before knocking over cups and other things clearly on purpose.

"Just saying it had already been stated that the Empress wasn't anywhere near this ship," Flynn said with a bit of a shrug with response to Maria. Not his fault that some people didn't pay attention to everything that was really spoken to them. Of course, he paid attention to what was said to him, now, whether or not he actually did what he was told to with that information was a whole other story. Authority for the most part was not something he cared for when it came to things that he firmly believed in. If the person in charge chose to do something against what he thought, he definitely was either going to say something or just flat out not listen to the orders given.

However currently that wasn't something he was thinking, not really, since currently everyone he was with all had the same goal in mind and the same sort mindset really. He listened to what Hope was saying, and was starting to understand the sort of plan that she was going with. "Well we'd have to come up with a good reason for this Criti Noll to be talking to the other Skrulls. Plus we'd have to ensure that the real Criti Noll doesn't interrupt us, so we'd need to ensure that we deal with her first and foremost before any other person. Just knock her out or something and lock her in a cell. Just to ensure that she doesn't get in our way for this plan to work."

Skrull Prison Ship

Anelle hesitated, before nodding. If the alien woman could replicate her powers, then she could perfectly mimic Criti Noll - provided that she first made contact with her. Skrulls couldn't absorb everyone's memories and personality traits from afar, it required physical touch. They could shapeshift to mimic someone without the touch, but it was the touch that made their shapeshifting so powerful. "Odds are, Criti Noll would have been on the bridge," she said softly. "You would need to search the bodies for her... Although you wouldn't know who you were looking for so...."

Wasp internally winced. To go through with this plan then, they needed to lead a traumatized young woman through the field of corpses and unconscious skrulls, searching their faces for the one they were interested in, forcing her to confront the results of the Avengers actions. Would that be enough to push Princess Anelle over the edge, to have her join the Empress rather than help them out? "Are you going to be okay doing that, Princess?" the Wasp asked.

"...If it saves my people, I would do anything," Anelle said quietly.

Clint Barton's Homestead - Missouri: 9:10 A.M.

Barton sighed, before plastering a smile on his face as he was tackled by three small kids - one girl with long brown hair, and two little boys. The kids looked like there were a few years spread in ages between them all, but the oldest, the girl, couldn't have been older than eight years old or so. "Hey rug rats, don't you all have school today?"

"Mommy said classes were canceled because your friends are here!" the little girl chimed in helpfully.

"And she said we're your problem since she needed Mommy time," the older of the two boys added.

Hawkeye smiled, shaking his head slightly. "Oh boy, lucky me. Well! How about we get some breakfast, and then, you can come with us to go pick out some animals, okay?" Hawkeye asked, as he got up from the table and got some things for his kids ready. The kids got into their seats at the table, looking around the table happily, although they clearly weren't phased by seeing Avengers around. The youngest boy locked eyes with Goose and gasped.

"Pussy cat!!!!" he squealed, before jumping onto the table, knocking his bowl of cereal into Captain America's lap, as he tried to grab Goose by the tail. He latched onto Goose and Goose screamed, leaping upwards and latching onto the ceiling rafters with his tentacles. The kids all started screaming - not out of fear, but excitement.

"Do it again!!!!!!"

Fury was trying not to laugh, but failing. "Look how the mighty flerken has fallen," he teased, before getting up. "I'm going to sit out the flerken retrieval mission. I'm too old to go to an animal shelter." He also didn't want to go with a bunch of hyper screaming little kids who doubtlessly would want to adopt EVERY animal in the place.

"Not to worry, your friendly neighborhood Spider-Man is on the case!" Spider-Man exclaimed. He aimed his right hand upwards, shooting out some webs and launching himself up to the ceiling. He crouched on the rafter next to Goose. "Hey there, Mr. Kitty Cat - or are you a Mrs. Kitty Cat? My name's Spider-Man, you wanna come down for some kitty cat treats?"

Goose looked at Spider-Man for a moment, before walking over and sniffing him slightly. After a few moments, the cat started rubbing up against him, since to Goose he was clearly one of the good hoomans.

Agent 13 raised an eyebrow. She didn't exactly want to be with the screaming children either, and they still had a lot of unknowns to deal with. "I'm going to see if I can find out anything online about the convention and get us a list of who's attending." She didn't want to wait to get that from the White House. She got up and headed up the stairs to the rooms they had been staying in.

"Wow, don't everyone volunteer at once," Cap said, shaking his head. "I'm going. Sam, Buck, T'Challa you in?"

"'Course I am, you know I'd never pass up on a chance to pet some dogs," Falcon said with a grin.

"I may have a hard time refraining from adopting all of the animals in the shelter... But yes, I would like to go," T'Challa agreed.

The Winter Soldier just nodded.

"Sparks, work on the quinjet?" Raynor suggested. The quinjet had air conditioning. He liked air conditioning. As far as he was aware, Hawkeye's home did not have air conditioning. It was also a little weird to him to see the kids running around - and part of him was a bit jealous, as his own kid hadn't been born yet. Would his kid look at him and the world with such curiosity and joy? Or would they be like him - cruel and angry all the time?

"Are we going to take a truck or something to the shelter then?" Amelia asked.

Barton nodded. "The truck's got room for someone to ride shotgun with me, kids will be in the carseats, the rest of you will have to ride in the truck bed. Once the kids finish breakfast, we can head out - and Spidey, you might want to throw the cat down at some point, I imagine we'll need Goose with us."

Mar-Vell nodded. "Flerkens have an instinctive ability to recognize their own kind."

Bonnie nodded, smiling slightly at Sparky. "Yeah, of course. I ought to study Niah's prosthetic some and take another look at Cass' wound anyways, make sure everything is healing smoothly. Niah, hun, when you're ready, we can go out to the quinjet and camp out in the medical bay."

(Everyone who is going flerken hunting, go get in the truck bed this round!)

Cassandra looked at Sparky for a moment and nodded towards her, she needed to be able to see fully and having literally half of your vision was more of a hinderance. Though she wasnt super thrilled having her eye being poked and prodded at really, it was kind of getting annoying now to but she needed a replacement eye. "That works for me, and I can be more helpful with you guys there anyway." Cassandra said, as she gave Hawkeye a slight smile as she watched three kids hugging him. She looked at Matt for a moment and gave him a smile, she hadnt thought about having kids to much.

She laughed slightly seeing one of the kids grabbing Goose' tail seeing the cat jumping up into the rafters. "I'll go and meet you guys at the Quinjet then and we can get started." Cass said as she got up and looked over at Matt gently rubbing his shoulder and gave him a quick kiss on the cheek as she grabbed her plate, she trusted that the group wouldnt have to much of a hassle with some alien cats like Goose. She went and sat her dishes down into the sink, and made her way out of the house and towards the Quinjet's medical area.

"I'll go on the cat hunt then." Evelyne said as watched as three of Hawkeye's kids came running in and hugging him which was kind of cute to see. Goose was being a cat and knocking some stuff off of the table when one of Hawkeye's kids grabbed and yanked his tail, hearing Goose yowling and jumping up onto the rafters in the ceilings and spider-man grabbing him. She watched as Cass stood up and putting her dishes away and made her way towards the quinjet.

Evelyne did the same as well to grabbing her plate and setting them into the sink and made her way towards the truck. Seeing the truck Evelyne climbed onto the back of the truck sitting in the bed of hit. She was pretty sure that by sitting in the truck bed it would draw a bit of attention to themselves.

Maria Novikova

Location: Skrull Prison Ship -> Bridge
Skills: N/A

Maria looked towards Princess Anelle and nodded slightly, completely ignoring Flynn's first comment though they would need to come up with a plan just in case the other skrulls wanted to talk to Criti Noll person. "We'll make sure that the others won't harm anymore of your people Princess." Maria said trying to reassure her that they wouldnt kill another skrull. She just hoped that the other skrulls won't attack them if she failed at impersonating one of them as Maria stood up and made her way back towards the bridge.

Maria looked over at the others who were on the bridge. "How are things going on up here?" Maria asked looking at all of them for a moment seeing the bodies of the other skrulls that were killed and winced slightly. She just hoped that whatever plan that Hope had in mind would actually work out for all of them.

Kwassi Asokho

Location: Batron Homestead > Truck
Skills: Photographic Memory : 16

There was so much to unpack there that Kwassi felt as if it was about to get whiplash from how much Sparky was going back and for with her words. Sure, she had said that she could do it without his help, but in the same breath she mentioned wanting to be of help since he wouldn't be able to physically be in the mission. So it was only the next logical step to believe she wished to work on the device alone, giving her contribution where she could and allowing the others to do theirs out in the field. But now it seemed she only wished to work alongside the other females that she knew. Kwassi had met fierce Wakandan warriors capable of dismantling a man in mere seconds, and yet this Sparky carried the same intensity and ferocity over the need to keep him away from a task.

Luckily he had no real complaints. Who worked on the device didn't really matter so long as it worked in the end. So Kwassi was more than willing to go out on a Flerkin hunt. Hopefully Goose wouldn't eat anyone on the ride there and he only wished they could find a few more. He got up and gave a nod towards T'Challa before washing his dish and placing it in the drying rack next to the sink."Spider-Man will you be joining us on the Flerken hunt? I would love to pick your brain on the ride there." He nodded towards the truck to web slinging hero, as if to ask him to follow along and speak if he wished to. Kwassi grabbed onto the side of the truck, stepping onto the tire before hopping onto the lip of the bed and sitting down.
