Ben was unsure what he had done to deserve so many common classes with Eris and Varis. If he did not get the pair, he was all but guaranteed to get one. Whoever made the schedules had an odd sense of humor. Or perhaps this was simply his own misfortune. Regardless of the truth he was left without direction on where to go or what to do. Lilie had requested he leave the dorm until just before sunrise and at first he believed it a blessing. He had meant to compare the map his father had shown him with the current layout of the grounds as he had been putting off the task for much too long. However, interacting with Eris was somehow physically draining. He would have liked to return to the dorm to doze off for an hour or so, but that was not possible.

A foreign, muffled voice brought him out of his thoughts. Yes, the radio; he hadn't touched it since class considering Eris had most of his attention. Stars above, Eris had his attention. The man would have a field day if he could read minds. As much as Ben would have liked to ignore him, he preferred to stay in Varis' good graces lest he lose out on the opinions of both heirs. It was unfortunate that he somehow managed to retain the traditionalist and dismissed the modernist as he had fully expected the opposite to happen. Such was life.

Ben brought out the radio in time to hear the Marivaldi heiress' voice. He fiddled with the switches, the settings somehow having changed in the rustle of his bag. Fortunately he was able to retain the connection somehow. "I've a mind for a walk instead, the first night has left me with much to do and I would enjoy a stroll while I still have the time," Ben said.

As Salem stepped out of his final class, he couldn't help but stretch out his arms and back. It was never his style to want to stay in such a posture or act so formally. He honestly didn't see how Aaron did it. It must've been exhausting. Nevertheless, Salem didn't want Lilie to go through it alone, so he signed up for the same course so that they may at the very least be able to help stave off the boredom that was no doubtedly going to come from showmageship. As he was packing his bag, he noticed she left with rather a bit of haste, hardly saying her farewells as she bolted out the door. Salem couldn't help but raise an eyebrow at the display, deciding he would ask her about it later. Whatever it was, he'd hate to be the reason she was late to it.

"Well...there goes that for any afternight plans." Salem let out a little sigh as he slung his bag over his shoulder and began to make his way out. His steps paused as the morning mist curled around his ankles, cooling him instantly as the cold bite served to wake him up. He found himself leaning up against the walls of the building, thinking of home for a brief moment. The mornings spent slipping out into the greenhouse as he found a hidden spot amongst the foliage and read. There were times he attempted to use his magic to affect the flowers growing around him. But he hadn't known what to do yet, how to manipulate the flowers and make them grow. Now here he was, at the Noila Academy, taking classes with a Starag no less. It was weird, but it felt as a way to show just how far he'd come.

Salem rolled his shoulders, pushing himself off of the wall and pulling out his phone. Lilie was busy, Aaron no doubtedly licking a boot, he hoped that Max wasn't too preoccupied. He opened up his phone, noticing he was the last person he'd messaged, wondering how it is that Max happened to be receiving more messages than Lilie had from him. Hey, hope today wasn't too bad for you. I got to do a bit of Transmuting today, and learned how to shrink objects. Apparently it can be extremely dangerous *shrugs*
