Nadia Petrova

Location: Outside of Loki's Cavern
Skills: N/A

Loki was looking really pissed off as he glared at Runa holding her staff rather tightly, and turned towards Dalisy. "Now that wasnt really nice." Loki said as a metal clicking sound went off, and Loki's chains fell off of his feet. He started turning to face Runa and quickly pulled her staff out of her hands and threw it to the side, Loki grabbed Runa by the neck. Loki stood up to his full height now and grinned as he snapped his fingers and chains appeared around Nadia and Dalisy's legs to stop them from moving.

"You should all have stayed in the hotel." Loki said as he started to walk behind Runa gently resting a hand on her shoulders, Nadia gripped her sword and really wanted to charge after him but she couldnt due to the chains on her feet. "Let her go now Loki." Nadia said as she tried to hack away at the chains, Baldur quickly stopped seeing Loki was holding Runa rather close to him. "Oh I'll certainly let her go unharmed, so long as you let me and my friend here go." Loki said to everyone loud enough so that they could hear.

Arnora Skadidottir

Location: Outside of Loki's Cavern
Skills: Axe Fighting

Eris was looking really pissed off now as she stumbled backwards holding her stomach as she started to bleed pretty badly from her injuries, thanks to the Einherjar before her. Arnora stumbled back up to her feet, using her axe as a crutch of sorts, her leg looked to be in pretty bad shape at the moment as Arnora was making her way over towards the others to help them fight against Eris. When she heard Loki speaking to all of them, she turned to see Loki was now free and standing behind Runa his hands on her shoulders.

The situation did look pretty bad in her opinion Eris turned to look over her shoulder and grinned a little bit seeing that Loki had Runa close by and managed to get a good bit of distance from Klara, Lara and Astrid. Baldur started to lower his weapon seeing his daughter was being held by Loki, he didnt want any kind of harm to happen to her. "You all should do as he says." Eris said to them all.

Being stuck between a rock and a hard place was hard to be in at that moment. Lara was sure her father knew that situation too well, as he had willingly given up his hand for such a situation. She looked between Loki and Eris, to Balder at that point. Loki had a pretty good grip on Runa, and Lara didn't want to see any harm come to her at that point, so she knew what she had to do. She put away her spear and held both her hands up to show she meant no aggression. "Loki, Eris, if you both promise to return Runa to us unharmed, uninjured and safely we can promise to let you go."

Astrid wasn't quite sure what Lara was trying to do, but it seemed to have no effect for the moment. She looked around the group and knew that out of them all some might be willing to agree to her conditions, while others might not. Balder looked about read to agree to anything, as Runa was her daughter. Seeing that fighting wasn't going to help them anymore she turned her attention towards the injured and walked over to Arnora. "Let me help you there."

Lara could tell that her magic hadn't worked the first time, especially since the god and goddess did not make a move. "I repeat myself, if you both promise to return Runa to us unharmed, uninjured and safely we will let you go. Do you agree to this?" She put more force into her voice and to her surprise it was the stranger to her that seemed to stand down. Eris put away her weapons and held up her hands.

"I agree." Lara could feel the binding take effect and she nodded at that.

"The oath is bound, Eris. Now... do you agree as well, Loki?" Lara turned back to the other god, praying to her father that by some miracle Loki would agree.

Astrid raised a brow as Eris seemed to stand down and even agreed to make sure that Runa would return to them safely. Well, that was one god down. The other however, did not seem inclined to agree to such a deal. She shook her head and turned her attention back to Arnora and frowned. It was in pretty bad shape, but for the moment they were not in the hotel. It wouldn't magically heal or just go away. Astrid fished her first aid kit out of her bag and set to work, doing some basic clean up and binding, so that standing wouldn't be as painful. "I've done what I can for now."

Runa Johansson

Location: Loki's Cavern
Skills: Photokinesis

It all happened too quickly - Runa had been doing her part against Loki and the next thing she knew, her staff was gone and he had her by the neck. She was gasping for air, unable to breathe. She felt entirely powerless and helpless. And her friends, she didn't deserve them - they were ready to stand down and unleash Loki and his friend into the world just to save her life. "Don't... do it," Runa choked out. She didn't want to be the reason that Loki was freed. She was scared, but not afraid. She had already died once - she was already dead. She was willing to die if it meant Loki couldn't escape.

But she also wasn't ready to give up and let him kill her. She had already spent so much time in Valhalla scared and timid, uncertain and looking towards others for what to do. She was done with that. She wanted to take control of her life - or really, her afterlife. And maybe, just maybe, it would work - maybe she'd free herself and they'd all go home. But there was no way she was going to let Loki escape. She tried to blast him in the eyes with light, her first two tries didn't work, but on the third try she was able to blind him. The blinding light caused him to release her and Runa gasped for breath, running back over towards the others, safe again. She felt good. She had saved herself.

Well, the situation had sort of gone from bad to worse it seemed like, then again, they sort of were dealing with the gods, so of course all hell was going to break loose at some point. This time it just so happened to be Runa getting caught by Loki when she tried to hit him with her staff. The others of course were lowering their guard, since they didn't want her to potentially get hurt, but truthfully in Klara's opinion, Runa was a lot more capable from what she had seen before then the others likely thought. Klara didn't fully lower her guard, prepared to strike instantly if she was given the chance.

Thankfully, the opportunity arose as Runa managed to break free from Loki's grasp by blinding him it looked like. She couldn't help but smile, as she held her sword and charged straight at Loki, swinging her sword. Unfortunately, her aim wasn't the best for her first few swings as she did so. However, she did manage to land a fairly solid hit with her third swing, as her sword connected with Loki and she managed to get him to more or less start bleeding a lot. Well, this guy hopefully wasn't going to go anywhere or whatever soon. Maybe if they were lucky anyway.

Anger boiled in Dalisy's heart as she heard Lara talk. It was stupid. Runa was a fine enough person, but to make an exchange such as that was idiotic. Not to mention what really made Dalisy mad. The real reason Dalisy hated Lara so much. The oath. The binding. Niah. Her dear sister who lived and had no idea how much Dalisy missed her.

Dalisy funneled that anger into trying to free herself. She'd drive this sword into Loki if it was the last thing she would do. She knew that his chaos would bring danger to the world, and therefore her sister. Lara's part in all of this was just to be that constant reminder of the one person she loved in the world. As she tried to get out, she didn't seem to be having any luck though. And that just angered her even more. If she were free she'd be driving her sword into Loki.

She tried again. This time she was able to get free. She showed her teeth. It looked nothing like a grin. Runa had freed herself, Loki was blind. She swung her sword. Slicing Loki's arm.

Nadia sighed in relief that Runa was able to break free from Loki's grip, blinding him she quickly went over towards Runa and looked her over. "Are you alright Runa?" Nadia asked her friend, and turned to look at Lara as she spoke to the two gods, it didnt seem to really work on them, until she repeated it again and Eris agreed to stand down which was surprising. The goddess really didnt look happy as she stared Lara down thinking of ways to get back at her somehow.

Nadia went for Loki while he was still blinded, but he was a lot quicker than she was and managed to hit her knocking her backwards, feeling the wind getting knocked out of her as she hit the ground. Baldur ran forward and was able to knock Loki down onto the ground, as Loki turned to glare at the group. He managed to kick Baldur pretty hard and got back up to his feet, quickly dusting himself off while looking at all of them knowing that the two of them were outnumbered currently.

Arnora Skadidottir

Arnora felt really helpless as she winced a little bit while Astrid ran over and started to patch up her leg, which looked like it was in pretty rough shape. "Thank you Lara." Arnora said looking at Astrid and smiled towards her, she gripped her axe rather tightly as Baldur managed to knock Loki down wincing slightly as Loki managed to kick him pretty good and getting up. The goddess who was freeing Loki looked rather annoyed at being bound before looking over towards Loki, who was holding her wounds a bit and started to walk over towards Loki as Loki started to speak again.

"Well it was a lot of fun messing with you all, but I think we have had enough fun for now, you'll be seeing me around don't worry we'll have some more fun later." Loki said, as Eris pulled out a few more of her golden apples and threw them onto the ground, the apples suddenly exploded with a flash, Baldur tried to bend the light but wasnt able to, temporarily blinding everyone else. When things finally cleared both Loki and Eris were gone now. As soon as Arnora was able to clear her vision she was really annoyed that she wasnt able to stop Loki from escaping and turned to face Baldur.

"Who was that woman?" Arnora asked as she leaned against her axe some more, as Baldur faced the others. "That was Eris the Greek Goddess of Chaos, Strife and Discord." Baldur answered her, Arnora didnt know anything really when it came to other mythologies really but having a god like Loki and Eris around didnt seem good at all.

Runa nodded as Nadia asked her if she was alright - she really was. She was proud of herself for having freed herself from Loki, for not needing to be rescued by the others, for them not sacrificing the world on her behalf. Seconds later, Nadia tried to attack Loki, only to be knocked backwards. Her father knocked Loki down in turn and Runa was hopeful that they'd prevail - they seemed to have the upper hand here. Loki then kicked her father and rose to his feet. There was then a blinding light and Runa covered her eyes instinctively - when she opened them again, Loki and the other goddess were gone.

"No.... No, no, no, no, no..." Runa stammered. It wasn't supposed to end this way. Loki didn't have her as a hostage. He wasn't supposed to go free. The entire universe was in danger now with him on the loose. And then her father broke somber news. Runa didn't know that other mythologies existed, but she didn't doubt that he was right. She didn't want to imagine what Loki and a goddess of chaos were up to together. "... If she's Greek, surely the Greek gods can help us?" Runa then asked softly. Maybe together they could be strong enough.

Astrid could only nod as Arnora thanked her for her help, even if she called her the wrong name. She chuckled to herself, guessing that maybe Arnora might like the other person, but that was only a guess. She wasn't here to get into anyone's interpersonal relationships, so she just smiled, nodded and then looked around. Loki and the goddess, Eris, were gone. Gone in a blinding flash of light and some more of those damn golden apples. She walked over to Runa and then gently rubbed her shoulder as she could tell the girl was in a bit of distress over what happened. "Just so you know, this wasn't your fault. I think they had this planned from the start." She spoke lowly so only Runa could hear her.

Lara looked around the cavern, a look of what seemed to be hopelessness on her face at that point. She had tried to help, hells, she had even bound Eris to her word to not harm Runa, and to just go. But it was all for nothing in the end it seemed, as the god and goddess had vanished. Though, hearing that Eris was a Greek goddess made Lara's expression turn from hopelessness to shock. "Wait, the Greek gods are real too? That was a Greek Goddess that helped Loki? W...why would she do that? Why?"

Astrid sighed a bit as they were left wondering why Eris had helped Loki, even if they were of different Pantheons. Hearing that other Pantheons existed did make Astrid second guess herself a little. If the Greek Gods were real, what about others? Roman? Egyptian? Mezo-American? The world that she had started to understand as the one she belonged to as a Valkyrie was expanding, and too fast for her to really make sense of it all. See did hope that maybe that what Runa was saying could be correct, that maybe the Greek Gods could help them fix this mess since one of their own had helped cause it.

Lara knew that Balder didn't have the answer as to why Eris had helped Loki, but she had still asked it. They were still in the cave, in Loki's prison, and they would have to figure out what to do next. She was tired, and worn out from the long day at that point. She just wanted to go back to the Hotel, but it seemed that the day was not yet over. They would have to figure out what would happen next, and what the freeing of Loki meant. She really just hoped it didn't mean what she thought it meant, that Ragnarok was on its way.

Dalisy wasn't surprised at the mention that there were other pantheons. She knew there were other ones. Her sister was part of the Roman pantheon via her mother's blood, just like Dalisy herself was Norse through her godly father. Their mortal father got around a bit among the gods. How he had attracted the attention of two gods of such different types, was beyond her knowledge. It wasn't a question she had ever asked Heimdall. She knew she didn't want the answer of how she had been born. Especially since she knew she wasn't the only Dalisy in the universes. If anyone Dalisy knew would have any idea of who this Eris woman was it would be her sister.

She closed her eyes. Thinking of her sister. Then opened them again, but she didn't see the Cavern. Niah was fine, alive, and unhurt. Her heart ached. Knowing she couldn't reach out to her. Knowing that even though she knew exactly where and what Niah was up to she couldn't just show up and say hi. Dalisy blinked away the image. Then she reached up and touched the necklace her godly father had given her.

The Bifrost opened. "There, let's go back to the hotel. We can figure out what to do next." Though the temptation to find where Loki had gone and open the path to him there was strong. She went through this path and into the hotel.

Klara was a bit hopeful with everything that was going on, that they might succeed, but given the fact that they were against not one, but two gods made things a bit more difficult overall with everything. Loki was getting knocked around, and Eris had gotten knocked around before they all turned their attention towards Loki. Things seemed to be going their way over all with regards to the fighting, when Loki decided to quite literally blindside all of them, and blinded the group with a burst of light, before he seemingly disappeared along with Eris.

"...Well that went well over all now didn't it?" Klara commented, glancing over at the others as it was mentioned who exactly Eris was, and people questioning if it would be better to include or maybe try talking to the Greek gods about everything. She thought for a moment, as she looked at the others after the whole fight and all. "Well, we could see about getting some aid from the Greek gods, or at least see if they'd be willing to help for the most part. Not sure if they will, but couldn't hurt to ask..." Klara nodded, agreeing with Runa's suggestion about asking the Greeks.

Nadia didnt like the fact that Loki and Eris had gotten away, as she looked over towards Baldur for some more answers. "I'll have to contact Mimir and have him set up a meeting with someone from the Greeks." Baldur said as he watched Dalisy summon the Bifrost for all of them to go through. He turned towards Lara asking why Eris had helped them he truly didnt know why she even helped Loki out in the first place, something big was going on by the looks of it. "I do not know it'll be something that we will have to find out together." Baldur said to them as he made his way over towards the bifrost turning towards the others.

"Lets get going and return to the hotel." Baldur said as he entered the bifrost that Dalisy had made for them, Nadia looked at Klara and nodded slightly. "At least none of us got killed I guess." Nadia said as she turned towards Runa and gave her a quick hug, she was glad that Runa was able to get herself freed Loki's grip. "It wasnt your fault that Loki and Eris had gotten away, so don't blame yourself for that." Nadia told her before heading into the bifrost.

Arnora Skadidottir

Arnora was a little bit annoyed that Loki had managed to break free and escape, she closed her eyes and sighed as she leaned herself up against her axe. "Well thats just great he got away." Arnora said, though she didnt blame anyone of them for what had happened, they were technically mortals outside of Valhalla and they could die if they were killed outside. Arnora watched as Dalisy opened up a portal with the bifrost for them to go through to get back to the hotel.

"Thanks again for patching me up." Arnora said to Lara and gave her a slight smile her leg was really hurting as she started to limp her way back over towards the portal and stepped through to the hotel, and immediately took a seat on a nearby chair as she watched Baldur heading off to meet with the Thanes and Odin to probably tell them what has happened,

Meanwhile some unknown location...

Loki and Eris had barely managed to get out of the cavern thanks to the pesky group of Einherjar, he leaned back slightly as he recovered from the wounds as well as Eris. In the distance there was a mixture of cyclops and jotunn, they were dragging what looked to be massive animal crates containing various kinds of monsters and other creatures. "The others won't notice right?" Loki asked Eris as she turned towards him and nodded.

"They are a bit to busy with whats going on in the Pit and fighting amongst each other to notice a few monsters here and there go missing." Eris answered and smiled as she unrolled a map setting it down on a nearby table it appeared to be a very large arena of some kind with various pictures of monsters on certain areas of the map. "Good, we can focus more on our project more closely then we just need to find the right number of contestants." Loki said smiling evily.
