No problem @Fetzen, skills are what you'd might expect. For example a very stereotypical Neo Norse might have skills such as Sailing, Axe Fighting, Fishing, Singing, Athletics and Navigation, all things that they would have reasonably picked up from their background. In the same way, a New Yorker Merchant would know things about Trade, Ships, Multiple Languages, and Negotiation while a Knight of the South would be well versed in Riding, Jousting, Courtly Etiquette and maybe the finer points of Evangelical Christianity.
Of course you don't need to just follow stereotypes. Mr. Norse might have found himself a home on land and picked up some sort of trade skill like Shoe Making/Cobbling or Woodworking. The Merchant might have been an ex-mercenary prince and thus knows a great deal about Leadership, Tactics and Fighting while the Southron Knight might be half blood with an Evangelical Father and an Occultist Snowbird Mother and thus also knows some things about the Eldritch Lore of Occultism or rugged Survival tactics like trapping, tracking and hunting.
If you need some more inspiration, D&D or Pathfinder skills could work well, maybe Dwarf Fortress too.
