@FrogRFlowR

Alright, here we go.

Didn't change any of the abilities, just the background/tidbits about her behavior, a bit more info on her blood-raging, as well as deciding the Envoy would probably create an alias for herself, to avoid any past associations with her family. Hopefully this is a bit more inline with what you had envisioned for the Envoys.

Also, yes, she's totally still into doing the whole prophecy thing just don't expect her to act with any amount of urgency towards it.

So yeah, there we go. tell me if anything needs changing.

I just wanted to drop by and say that anybody who incorporates Pegasus Knights into their grand worldbuilding is a pretty swell person in my book.

It's possible that I have a character for you, but I'm not very sure yet.

@Siber Your character feels very D&D, I guess you played it before? :P
The Background is mostly Ok, but there was a few things I wanted to clarify with you.

  • Apart from Sand Elves, Elves mostly stay within their forests so there is little chance Elven Archers would protect Euphoria. Most likely, it would be half-elves. There are a few Elves that left Mica and Yeryn, and a population of half elves across Edanica, but it is unlikely that this close to the borders of Mica you'd have elves living outside. :)
  • That part of Edanica is scarcely populated. It would make sense that Euphoria lies close to the coast, to the West. Most likely, tourists would refer to people traveling by sea to and from Malia, and stop there in the way.
  • So, Lunara is your chosen God correct? As per the edit made to the OOC, part of the chosen God's essence will be inside of your character. Just wanting to make sure!

@Assallya Hey! The character's backstory is mostly fine, with plenty of details for me to use later. Like you already mentioned it could had a bit of polishing, but it's a detail. There are only two things I am worried about;

  • Evil alignments generally makes me wary. They can be fine if played well, but an "Evil" character is someone that like to hurt others and innocents for no reasons and take pleasure in it, for example. It could be someone that's cruel and with zero empathy - so they generally make pretty poor companions. This is why I am double checking to make sure this is what you wanted / mean when you picked Evil? If you want someone with no rules that is generally pretty selfish and lacks empathy, you're looking at Chaotic-Neutral. Evil are generally Demons, Devils, etc and creatures like Bugbears and Goblins that revels in hurting others and killing.
  • I also just need to make sure your character falls in with the others in that she is imbued with the divine mission to complete the mission and stops the prophecy the gods sent them on Edanica for. Despite her generally more selfish nature, even the evil gods of the Pantheon agreed to make their own Envoy work on this with the others!

@TheWendil Not a lot to say here, we had already discussed much of the finer details through PM.

@Guppy Franz You perfectly encompassed the feel of Nuniel's Empire I was going for in your descriptions of the Battlefield. I love it. Arthur seems pretty balanced and apart from a bit of polishing and colours that could be added to the sheet itself, I don't see any inherent issues with him.

@Sleeth Unique idea, which I like. Being an Undead have some implications to it, mainly the opinion of the people you will meet along the journey and, possibly, keep the fact he's an undead hidden from most of them. From your Background, I feel like your character and @Guppy Franz 's could have already met before, on the battlefield :^).

@Rune_Alchemist Good description, plenty of details and a bit of divine confusion. I also do not see any inherent issues with her.

@PigeonOfAstora I found it weird that you picked Eros at first, but it does indeed fit with the Loyalty part of him. So she comes from Brudel, is that correct? Also, I see you specialized in counter spells, which is all fine, but I suggest you also have a few offensive options. There won't always be casters among the enemies, so I recommend al casters have a few offensive options. :P

@Click This Directly inspired from Fire Emblem's Pegasus Knights. I think it was in Path of Radiance that there was a Kingdom with an order of Knights - I loved it so much. Many years later, here we are. Feel free to send me your CS!

And that is about everyone so far I think. Now that I took the time to properly re-read everyone's sheet thoroughly, I feel like the time is coming where I'll make the final roster choice. I will wait a bit for people to edit their sheet one last time and for @Click This do possibly post their characters. I think if everything goes well, the final roster could be picked by Saturday and the IC could start this week end!

When I saw Pegasus Knights I was thinking of something completely different from Click and Frog. I was thinking more akin to Warhammer.

I messed up when reading through and thought the twin kingdoms were the two cities to the south, I can make an alteration to half elf, or just be a human. In the grand scheme it won't make too much difference aside from his appearance. He probably won't go flaunting that he's technically undead, just very pale.

Edit: Adjusted character to be a half-elf to be more thematically correct with the world.

Yeah, Fire Emblem's Pegasus knights are fantastic. There's quite a few more games in the series that have kingdoms with entire orders of Pegasus Knights, too.

I think I have an idea that I can work with, but I'm worried it might be too ambitious. If you don't mind, I might have to slide into your DMs to ask a few questions in a little bit!

@Crimson Paladin Well, they're kind of badass Knights flying pegasus one way or another ^_^''

@Sleeth The Twin kingdomes are the two cities to the South, Coris and Latis. There would be Humans and Half-Elves in those kingdoms.
You might be confused with Mica and Yeryn, which are elves kingdoms up in the north in their magical forests.

@Click This Please do !

I may have 4ish years of D&D experience... let me hide in the corner in nervousness...

1. That makes sense! Will edit!
2. Again, that fits, editing... >-<
3. Lunara is the chosen God(dess?). I thought I at least edited that in for more clarity... [Insert player grumbles]

Aight Frogger, what’s up with dragons in this world?

@ERode What do you mean?
There are lots of Dragons, and Dragon kin. When you hear Dragons, what people will immediately imagine are the coloured, typical ones.

My monsters and fauna of the world are basically the D&D one, so dragons come mainly in two types; Chromatic and Metallic.

Chromatic dragons are Evil; Red, Green, Blue, White, Black.
Metallic dragons are usually either Good or Neutral; Gold, Silver, Brass, Bronze.

Apart from this, you have a certain number of creatures of dragonkin from Kobolds to Demi-Dragons and Dragonborn. So that question covers a lot of ground.

So when you say there’s a lot of Dragons, you mean that they’re generally a pretty populous monster race in this world? How well do the countries handle draconic threats then? Would one dragon be enough to fuck up cities? Or are they relatively common threats, with effective plans in place to manage and handle them?

With this being a DND-based thing, does that mean we have a host of interplanar and interdimensional gibbly goobers too? Or is it DND but without the much zanier elements of the game? Thinking stuff like Gith or Mindflayers or those funny little clock dudes.

@ERode Ok, my bad. No, I meant that there is a lot of different kind. Generally speaking, they are on the rare side. At least, fully Adult Dragons are rare, what they call Ancient Dragons.

An ancient Dragon could mess up a village or a city for sure, but in such a world courts and the like would also have mages and measures in place to counter such obvious threats in a world such as this.

The other planes do exist. Mostly untouched in my world as in DnD, so you still have the Elementals Planes, the Shadowfell and the Feywild. The Hells and Pits of Devils and Demons, etc.

In D&D (typically) Dragons stay in remote places or entirely different planes. The odds that a party of adventurers would ever end up fighting one that isn't an adolescent trying to assert it's dominance is pretty low. Ancient dragons, even evil ones, are usually wise enough to avoid conflict that would just get an even bigger fish to come out. That's why ancient black dragons aren't popping up to destroy the world as in some instances they so easily could, or they're just in hibernation. The world tends to have a certain balance to the forces in it, and the bigger players stay out of the way or they'll have to face each other. Gold dragons don't fight evil, Black dragons don't fight the good. If one comes out, the other will come out for balance, so it's better if none come at all.

Especially regarding dragons. Since they normally don't like one another too much and want to keep the status quo.

Very well said that Sleeth
