Hello, outsiders!
I am LegacyAbraham and I am looking for a party to play a long-term campaign of Rime of the Frostmaiden. You might not be very familiar with this campaign, but you could still join. The main objective would be to complete all of the quests from the ten towns and move on with the game as the chapters describe the story progression. Oh, this is also a call for a DM.
About Me:
I am a 23-year-old guy who loves to roleplay and has some experience playing DnD and a lot of experience with PbP roleplays. For this game I would play Egon Oroth, a human wizard raised in the Ten Towns. I'm okay roleplaying here or in Discord. Also, know that I work and study, so my posting rate might not be daily.
What I expect from a DM:
I expect someone with some experience DMing DnD games, but if you are a newbie, that would also be fine, as long as you have at least DMed other types of games. I would expect you to dedicate some time to reading the campaign book for the game so that the story would flow with some ease and also to be able to create an environment where all players could succeed in their personal objectives.
What I expect from the group:
I would expect a group of 4 to 6 players (including myself) with at least the interest to learn the DnD mechanics and with the availability to post every 2 days (or more often). Since I am going to play a wizard, it would be better if players used different classes. Homebrew content is okay, as long as it is presented beforehand for analysis. Characters will start at level 1 and might become level 12 until the end of the campaign
Chapter 1:
The Ten Towns
Adventure quests prompt our intrepid heroes to visit the many settlements of Ten-Towns and lend a helping hand.
Chapter 2:
Icewind Dale
Tall tales lead the characters to adventure locations on the fringes of Icewind Dale.
Chapter 3:
Sunblight
A duergar tyrant is building a chardalyn dragon to destroy Ten-Towns. The characters learn of this plot and try to thwart it.
Chapter 4:
Destruction's Light
After Xardorok Sunblight unleashes his dragon, the characters must stop it before it destroys Ten-Towns.
Chapter 5:
Auril's Abode
Characters travel to the frigid island of Solstice in search of a lost orb, a book, and perhaps the Frostmaiden herself.
Chapter 6:
Caves of Hunger
Armed with the "Rime of the Frostmaiden," the characters crack open the Reghed Glacier, unsealing a dungeon of ice.
Chapter 7:
Doom of Ythryn
After surviving the Caves of Hunger, the characters enter the necropolis of Ythryn in search of ancient Netherese magic.
