The Boys is set in a universe in which super powered people are recognized as heroes by the general public and are own d by a powerful private corporation, Vought International, which aggressively market and monetize their heroes and ensure positive public opinion and popularity for their heroes. Most of the true intentions of these heroes are just for the money and fame, and they will go to great lengths to keep that going, covering up scandals, paying people off, and overall being superficial in the name of saving people and Justice. Their latest motives are to influence the American government and get contracts with not just the cities, but the military. There has been unrest after the atrocities of heroes have been covered up for decades, and a rebellious group has formed to expose Vought international for what they really are, and uncover dark secrets along the way.

This will be a small group role-play based on the world and setting of The Boys. All characters will be OC characters, and although the overarching plot may be similar, there is lots of room to change and move the plot as the characters develop. You do not need to have watched the show to roleplay this, as general superhero knowledge will suffice. Your character can be a normal human, or a super powered individual. There are a multitude of backgrounds and options you can take in your fight against Vought

I am looking for a few people who are interested in joining the small group roleplay. The preferred roleplay method will be discord, for ease of access for myself and other members involved. The writing expectation will be at least a paragraph, more is appreciated, but quality over quantity. Post frequency is minimum weekly with the option of multiple daily posts depending on activity. You must be 18+ as the show as well as this roleplay will have adult themes.

@Zyx Preferably discord, just makes things easier! And it really depends on the power. As long as it’s not anything super overpowered and makes it boring we can work with it. Wouldn’t be an interesting RP if everybody was a Homelander/Superman type

Nope! As I said in my post, you don’t need to have even watched the show. It’s based around the setting and overarching plot of the first season, but the concept is fairly simple to grasp. Superhero stuff. And it’ll be mostly OC content so no spoilers or anything if you’re worried bout that. It’s pretty flexible.
