Bethany Bell

New York, Stark Tower
Skills: N/A

Bethany leaned back slightly as she watched Annie sorting out the stuff that they had found, she wasn't sure why she was going that as Bethany listened to the others speaking as they tried to come up with a plan to get back home. When a portal opened as she turned to see Strange again standing just outside of the mansion with their ship already on the ground. "Well one problem solved then with the ship being pulled out of the water." Bethany said as she followed the others through the Sling Ring Portal and back onto the mansion grounds, their ship looked in tacked for the most part.

She listened to Strange as he mentioned some sort of crystal that could get them all back home, and that a shard of it was nearby, and it seemed that it was pretty popular now as both the Brotherhood and Hellfire Club were after the thing as well to. "Alright so we get this crystal shard back and then we get the ship and go home sounds easy enough." Bethany said with a slight shrug. "So can we track this thing to get an exact location?" Bethany asked Strange as she turned to look at him.

Ed Penior

Location: New York City Stark Tower -> The Mansion
Skills:

Being back on the mansion property so quickly was a little nerve-wracking. But it saved them a lot of travel time. And who knew what other issues might arise while they had been crossing from the tower to the mansion. However, Strange was ever the bearer of bad news. They were going to have to fight their counterparts. Those with counterparts they had encountered so far were in one of those two groups. But this did mean they might be able to interact with Klara again. And maybe he could try to do what he had done with Lance and fix some of the connections wrong with him. They had to find a way to get Lance fixed too. One thing at a time.

"How long do you think until they find it? Do you have a good idea of where it is?" He wondered if Strange could just do the portal thing, grab the shard, and pop right away from it. "How unstable would a shard of this be? If the whole thing can destroy the whole of the multiverse?" Ed did not want to be responsible for destroying not just a universe but many of them.

Guin Stark

Location: Stark Tower
Skills: N/A

Guin was a bit surprised as a sling ring portal suddenly opened up, revealing the Sorcerer Supreme - who she was a little surprised and annoyed to see, since he was supposed to be working on a way to get them on home - standing outside the ruins of Xavier's mansion with their damaged ship in tow. She stepped on through the portal along with the others, not too terribly shocked when Strange revealed that he had a way to get them home - but that he needed their help to do it. It felt like they were living out the plot of a video game - there's a path to the goal, but trials and tests await ye, young heroes! Sounds like the McDonalds version of an infinity stone - or a McFinity stone Guin commented to Pietro, as Strange asked if any of them knew what the M'Kraan crystal was.

"Hmm, I'm guessing that you can't just teleport us to its exact location? Because that would be too easy," Guin commented. Yup, this was definitely feeling like a quest out of a game. She couldn't wait to fight Ganon at the end of all of this. The crystal also sounded like some major magic mumbo-jumbo. It probably then also followed weird magic rules. At least they had some magic people with them. Yeah, let's go check it out Guin said. Once the wizard finishes talking.

Runa Baldurdattir

Location: Stark Tower
Skills: N/A

Runa was silent for a moment, as others discussed the M'Kraan crystal. She knew the basics of its existence - its immense power, the potential for danger to the multiverse at large, and then its connection to the Phoenix. That same entity was her grandmother, having lived inside the Asgardian woman and conceived a child with Runa's grandfather. She didn't often speak about her connection to the Phoenix. Not everyone regarded the entity very kindly, especially after what had happened with its Midgardian host.

"I have a connection to the M'Kraan crystal," Runa said, deciding it was best to reveal this information now. "My grandmother and the M'Kraan crystal are intimately related... for my grandmother is fire and life incarnate, the entity that Midgardians call the Phoenix." Runa paused for a moment, before continuing. "I may be able to attune to the M'Kraan crystal and use it to bring us home with the aid of the Sorcerer Supreme."

Antoinette McCarthy

The organizing was short lived but Antoinette didn't mind. It had kept her busy while they waited for something. Guin had returned eventually and confirmed that she might be able to make something out of what they found. To further their good luck, Dr Strange returned and had opened a portal straight to their ship.
Antoinette gathered her books and headed through the portal to this universes school. It looked incredibly run down and it made Antoinette a little sad to see the school like that, even if it wasn't her school.
Antoinette pulled her focus away to listen to the conversation as it turned to talk about a crystal she knew nothing about and the Brotherhood and Hellfire Club going after it. Antoinette sighed. Going against not one but two major bad guy groups was not an ideal situation but hopefully if they had some of the Avengers on their side, like Strange, it would go a bit better.

But the wizard is just going to keep talking about some other magical space rock that can mess with reality and is a bad thing in the hands of most people," Pietro complained mentally to Guin. This did seem to be their life currently, going after space rocks that could destroy everything. The last one they dealt with was the reality stone on Asgard, so who knew how anything was going to go with this situation/

Strange raised a bit of an eyebrow when Bethany spoke about how easy it sounded. "It may sound simple enough, however, that is going to be far from the case. Unfortunately, the most you can acquire about its location is a smaller general area with magic. The shard gives off such strong power, that it messes with most other forms of energy, including magic."

"Plus knowing our luck everything that could possibly go wrong, will go wrong," Mary added with a bit of a shrug. They didn't exactly have the best track record with that sort of thing in general. They always ended up having the worst luck when they actually needed it for something important.

"As for what you said," Strange continued, turning to look at Runa, "Was part of why it seemed like the best course of action to potentially use the shard to return you to your own home reality. I was going to ask for your aid in retrieving it anyway, as that much potential energy and power in the hands of most anyone can be devastating."

"So how about we get going then? You just said that you could get us somewhat close to where the shard is, then how about we get going."

"We shouldn't rush head first into the situation though, if we do something could happen to destroy the universe."

"But they have a headstart on us, so we should go there fast and get to it first obviously."

"There also is the whole everyone might run into some of their counterparts, so we might also want to pay attention to how we can tell the difference between everyone. Since that might come up a bit." that was a genuine problem that they had to worry about currently. Since she knew that at least Ed and Bethany had counterparts with the Hellfire Club, and that Pietro had a counterpart who was with the Brotherhood. Plus the whole other Klara who might actually be their Klara thing, and she also was with the Hellfire Club, which didn't help matters. Her attention turned towards Strange again, "We know a few of the counterparts we might easily run into... Any idea who all we might see while trying to get the shard?"

"Well obviously Quicksilver is with the Brotherhood, though he's not the only one, both the younger Stark and her," he said, nodding his head towards Annie, "Are with the group as well. As for the group with the Hellfire Club, considering the fact that you seemed to have encountered them before, you already know."

"Yeah, both Ed and Bethany's counterparts are there too... So we need to make sure to keep track of which ones are our version of everyone if we do run into them. No matter what we do, that is something to keep an eye on..." She had sort of left out the whole "other Klara" thing partially because she wasn't sure what to think of that situation. And secondly because of how that version of Klara was, it would be very difficult to get the two of them mixed up anyway.

They are just talking about how best to deal with everything and aren't talking about the fancy space rock specifically. So go now? This is kind of boring...

Bethany turned to look at Strange and shrugged slightly they always did end up running into some sort of trouble all the time that was most of the time pretty much anyway. "Well obviously it's always never going to be easy especially when we have counterparts around that we have to deal with." Bethany said to Strange, she then turned to look at Runa as she started to mention that she had a connection to the crystal through some family or something like that. She didn't know much about the Pheonix or anything like that but it seemed like it was pretty powerful.

"Since Runa has a connection to it couldn't we use her as a way to get a better location?" Bethany asked, she knew that the Hellfire Club had some magic users with them, mainly Klara as well as Ed to help with their tracking of the crystal down. Bethany looked at Klara for a moment who wanted to rush in and what not. "We should figure out a plan though since it'll be harder with our counterparts around and stuff." Bethany said to her, but it was Mary's decision anyway.

If there was a chance Runa could connect to the shard, it raised their chances. That was reassuring to Ed. He didn't like the idea of walking around with a mini-nuke in their pockets.

As for keeping track of who was who, it would be difficult. They would have to mark the people of the group somehow. Mary would be exempt. But the others would need some way to differentiate them. Especially if there was a chance of more of them losing themself as Lance had. Ed didn't understand what had happened to Lance and didn't know if there was a way to fix it.

"If anyone has a permanent marker or something, we can place a mark on the back of our hand, somewhere we can easily see, to keep track of each other. I also suggest a second mark, hidden somewhere." He hoped the meaning of why he wanted that was clear to the group.

Antoinette McCarthy

Antoinette walked over closer to the ship while the others spoke of the stone. She set her books on the ground and patted the top before she walked back over to the others. The crystal was their best chance of returning home. That was if they found it in time.
Part of Antoinette thought they should split their resources so Guin could try and repair the ship so they could make a quick getaway but there was strength in numbers and if they were going up against the Hellfire club and the Brotherhood. They would need all the help they could get.
Antoinette played with her hair and wiggled her nose while she thought about meeting her counterpart.

Dr Strange said she was part of the Brotherhood, along with other Guin and Pietro. What could have possibly happened to this world's Antoinette to make her join such an awful organization? The Brotherhood had no compassion or sense of responsibility. Even they were hardly loyal to themselves.
Antoinette looked over at Pietro and Guin, wondering what their thoughts were.

Guin Stark

Location: the Mansion
Skills: Telepathy

Yeah, and we need the lore dump - that's how our lives work as superheroes. Find an issue, learn the lore, save the day. Wash, rinse, and repeat, Guin replied telepathically to her husband. Rushing off and ignoring the information Strange had to offer would only make things even more of a shit show later on, Guin was certain of it. Besides, there was a decent point - they needed a way to quickly identify who was real. "I'm putting a telepathic token in everyone's mind - for quick identification," Guin said, before concentrating and placing the tokens in the back of the minds of each of their groups. "'Course, if I suddenly have no idea what these tokens are, then that probably means I've been replaced. But I'll take a sharpie mark anyways. Can't hurt to have multiple methods."

She understood why Ed wanted a secret second mark - it was a paranoid choice, but this was a paranoia inducing situation. She didn't really consider that some of the others would've liked for her to ask first about giving them all a telepathic token. Ordinarily, she would have - but now, she was still a bit frazzled. "I'm going to go see if I can salvage my suit," Guin then said, before walking to the ship, Amidala perched on her shoulder.

She wandered through the ship - everything was a complete mess, stuff had fallen out and hit the ground, making it look like a tornado had hit the place. Even that might've been a bit of a tame description. She finally noticed the suitcase containing her suit underneath a pile of Twinkies and other random things - Babe, your snacks are only mildly crushed and Guin tugged it on out, opening it up. The case itself was dented to hell, but the suit seemed like it didn't look too rough. "FRIDAY, how's it going in there?" Guin said, tapping her hands on the chest-plate of the suit.

The arc reactor fizzled to life and the suit glowed.

"Nice to see you in one piece, boss," FRIDAY answered.

Runa Baldurdattir

Location: the Mansion
Skills: N/A

Runa nodded as Edus asked if anyone had any sort of writing implement, and Guinevere used her mutant abilities to place telepathic coins into their minds. She focused her magics and suddenly, a pen with a thick black tip appeared in her hand. Runa drew an X on her hand and circled it, mimicking the design of some of the X-Men's own logos. She then lifted up the sleeve of her shirt, and drew another X on her lower shoulder, where it was then hidden by the fabric. "This quill will work," Runa said, before holding out the pen to whoever wished to use it next to mark themselves.

She then pondered Bethenny's question. It was definitely possible. She wasn't overly familiar with Strange's spells - each sorcerer she noticed tended to have their own specialties and methods when it came to magic. Her own magic was largely Asgardian in nature of course, but she had some Midgardian influences thanks to the reality warp the Scarlet Witch had caused. She even knew a little bit of magic specific to the Olympians, as she had briefly dated the Lord Apollo some decades ago. "It is possible - and worth a try, if you would, Strange?"

Don't diss the Twinkies ever. They can survive a lot, there is a reason why that is my go to food. Aside from the fact that they taste good Pietro said mentally to Guin. He was finding this entire situation to be a bit boring in general for him currently, since there was way too much talking and not enough time spent doing anything. Pietro looked at everyone else, before shrugging slightly, taking the pen from Runa and started doodling a bit with it on his arm, before holding it out to whoever wanted it.

"It will take a few moments to see if the spell will work," Strange responded, starting to cast a spell.

"A plan... Right, that would make some sense..." Mary commented, thinking for a moment on what sort of thing to do. Her head was swirling a bit from a few different things. One because she just felt sick for some strange reason, the other being that Chrysi wanted to take off to go mess with things.

Right now she was just trying to think of how to do this, since they also still had to deal with the whole Klara situation, and they didn't have any sort of way for them to potentially tell Runa about it until later. And by then they likely would be dealing with the real Klara, or well, who probably was the real Klara. They still didn't have any definitive proof on that sort of thing. "Well aren't there a million different ways this entire situation could go wrong. You might as well give up and just accept that everything is all screwed up for you. And I'm not just talking about how you're crazy in the head."

"Shut up, you aren't exactly helping."

"Hey! Maybe you'll just pass out again! That would be fun, still don't know what caused that to happen though. But hey, you did whatever off in lala land, and I actually dealt with a situation that you kind of ignored."

She really didn't want to have to really discuss this sort of thing, especially considering there might be someone who wants to cause them problems among the group, but considering what they were going to do, they didn't exactly have any sort of choice with it. "Obviously the main part of the plan would be getting the crystal shard before either of the other groups do. That is the number one priority. And of course the whole be careful with the shard thing since it could just destroy everything. If we can't get an exact location and only can get a general area, we should split up to try and find it quicker. Now, of course as mentioned there are the problems of the counterparts. Everyone pretty sure you all know each others powers and never thought we'd actually be discussing something like this but we are, we need to figure out the easiest ways to combat each of our powers. Or at least, the powers for those we're going to encounter. Let's start with an easy one, that being the speedster."

"Well that's easy. Either cold of some sort of since cold and speed just do not mix. That or finding a way to trip me, since that would likely result in me crashing and probably breaking some bones in some way. Which would then pop into place again which would hurt and then take a moment or two to heal, and you get a chance to actually do something."

"Yeah, not sure how to do the cold or whatever with this group, but it's honestly not that hard to trip you you sometimes don't pay attention to where you're running."

"Only sometimes, I am getting better about that..." Pietro responded with a shrug. Want to come back out here? Strange is doing some spell to try and narrow down where the magic shard is, and now we're basically discussing how to best combat our counterparts.

"Who wants to go next in the sharing of what might stop your counterpart. Since we might as well go through this whole thing now..." Mary then said. Strange was still casting his spell and using his magic, it was going to be a little bit longer before they actually had any sort of location to work off of.

Bethany Bell

Bethany took the quill that Runa had made while Guin made the mental token for them all as well to, she made a little X-Men logo on the top of her hand and then pulled up her left shoulder to do the same thing as well to before handing it off to the next person who wanted it. Bethany listened to the others as they started to think of ways to take down their counterparts, which was going to be interesting as Pietro mentioned his weaknesses. "Well mine is fairly easy as well to, usually i'm at my weakest is whenever there is a bright light, the brighter it is the harder it is for me to use my powers." Bethany said taking a moment to look over at Lance.

"If Lance isn't all green and hulked out and stuff i'd imagine darkness would probably be the same thing as well to." Bethany suggested giving a slight shrug light and darkness were very much different sides of the same coin so it would be interesting to see that actually happen with her counterpart.

Ed took the pen from Bethany and did the same markings on himself that Runa and Bethany had done. He was irritated at Guin for invading his mind, but she had a point. As such, he bit the irritation back. It better have been just a token, not anything she could manipulate later.

"I am mostly defensive. However, I know that I would be very dangerous if I were unscrupulous. If he has gone full Sith, removing my tools would be how to deal with my ability to cast. I cannot cast my shield spells without a token." He removed from his pocket a small shield talisman.

"To be safe, if he carries a staff, remove that from him as well. Unless he has spells, I do not know if that would remove him from the fight. Except for healing."

Ed did not say as much as he could. If he spoke about the family and how the laws were as unenforced here in this world as they were at home, it would give too much away. He understood his counterpart's choices too well. That didn't make them right.

Antoinette didn't mind the telepathic token in her mind. She thought it was a good idea for the most part but she took the quill and made a mark on her hand and one on her abdomen before passing the quill off. She stared at the mark on her hand, vaguely liking the design and thought of getting a tattoo once she was back home.
Antoinette looked up when Mary suggested they go around and talk about what would counter their power. Antoinette listened patiently to everyone else before she spoke up.
"Well my illusion casting is based on if I can manipulate a person's mind and confuse their senses and my intuition enhancement is sort of along the same. So I would suggest a mental block of some kind or using Ed's shield's perhaps. As for my pyro, water," she said with a shrug.

Guin Stark

Location: the Mansion
Skills: Telepathy

Love it, so we're doing some Batman style worst case scenario preps Guin whispered back into Pietro's mind. She closed the case and carried her suit off of the ship, coming back out to see the others. She got back just in time to catch Edus and Annie's explanations on how to stop themselves. Some days, Guin would've probably just jokingly (and somewhat vulnerably) said that her counterpart could just be taken out with a good punch to the face, lacking real discipline as a telepath. Today, that was especially tempting for her to say, particularly as the Guin of this world was a prisoner of the Brotherhood.

"Don't let my counterpart near any sort of tech," Guin settled on. "And if you don't have good psychic defenses, just think of an annoying song on loop. It'll probably drive her crazy. Or crazier," Guin suggested with a shrug. Part of her did hope, deep down, that she might be able to help her counterpart from this world. But she also had to wonder how much of Guin Stark was really left here - and if helping her might just be putting her out of her misery.

Runa Baldurdattir

Location: the Mansion
Skills: N/A

Runa paused for a moment. She did trust these people - but at the same time, she did not like the idea of sharing all of her weaknesses. Of course, most of them had fought her before and already knew how to handle her. There was not really anything that she had to fear. She considered protesting that her counterpart was nowhere to be seen so far, and that it would not be needed. But Runa instead bit her lip slightly, before speaking. "If you are attacked by my counterpart, you would be best served by removing her tongue," Runa said bluntly. "Touch her staff and the enchantment will cause you to bleed from your eyes and ears, as you will be judged unworthy by the talisman."

"Should you separate her from the staff, you will need to remove her hands - so she may not call it to her," Runa continued. "Her powers over darkness can be mediated through Lance's light, but if he is in his other form, that may not be an option. Bethenny may be able to dispel some of her darkness with some effort." She then hesitated for a moment, before finishing. "Do not allow her to utter a spell. Do not allow her to cast. I know that I am not invincible, but she may be... Yet to be truthful, I do not think we will encounter her. There's been no sign of another Runa given to us so far."

Listening to what everyone decided on what likely was the best way to combat each of their powers was interesting to say the least. Mary was thinking a bit on the whole situation. Pietro they didn't exactly have extreme cold that they could use against the speedster unless you technically counted Klara, or well fake Klara? Using her control over water to create ice. That in theory could work. Lance and Bethany essentially could cancel each other's powers out. Illusions really just needed to have someone be able to focus enough and when doing that could result in them breaking free from it.

Ed's counterpart likely would be the harder one to deal with, since magic sometimes could be a bit unpredictable. And if his counterpart was fine with the idea of potentially seriously injuring or killing someone, that made it a bit harder to predict what he'd do. She was lucky with the fact that her counterpart was not around, and even though Runa spoke about how best to stop her, they likely weren't going to run into her counterpart either.

"Well, that's a start... We need to be careful and keep an eye on everyone and hopefully things don't go too out of whack... Which sadly kind of is our calling card at times." You know, a thought crossed her mind that maybe the team should actually do more splitting the team up into two smaller groups and practice fighting or something. Since then it would give them a better idea of the groups weaknesses and how best to adapt to situations where you might encounter someone with similar abilities.

"Chaos does tend to follow us around. So this will be a fun thing," Pietro responded with a shrug.

"The only counterparts we won't have to worry about it seems like are mine, Lance's and Runa's, and since we were all sharing power weaknesses and all anyway, mine tends to be that the main part of my powers, the chlorokinesis, tends to require plant life or something, which can easily be destroyed by fire, which is my worst nightmare to have to deal with at times honestly."

"Is my counterpart there then, since I mean, why would mine be here and not on Asgard?" Klara ended up asking. It was a fair question a bit, and one Mary didn't really want to answer. However she didn't need to, as Strange interrupted, having seemingly completed his spell.

"There has been rumors of an Asgardian girl running around with the Hellfire Club who supposedly is described as having a somewhat similar appearance to you. So it would not be too alarming to find out if it is your counterpart."

"Oh. Well if that's the case disarm her sword easily the main thing that makes her dangerous. Other things are easier to deal with then that. Sword makes her more dangerous, everything else just sort of is there really."

"I haven't been able to determine an exact location for the shard. However I was able to determine a 100 yard radius of an area that is easily giving off the power that is seeping from the crystal. Smaller area, and with enough people shouldn't be too difficult to search the area to find it. It likely is closer to it then the Hellfire Club or the Brotherhood were initially working with, so this will easily catch us up in how quickly we move."

"...Well let's get going then, might as well maybe get this over with..." Strange in response used his sling ring to open up a portal to what looked like another wooded area of sorts. "If anyone else needs something from the ship, get it now, other wise let's get this over with so we can maybe get home."

Ed was thankful Strange had responded and opened the portal before he could speak. He would have simply said that there was someone who was apparently a Klara with the Hellfire club. It wouldn't be a lie. Not one that Runa could detect. She didn't mention the thing about not countering her lies. But that was something the group should know anyway.

He prepared a shield to go up as Ed crossed through the portal. He wondered if disarming the Klara with them would be effective at making her weaker. If she was who he thought she was, he doubted it. He mentally stored away the ways to deal with each group member. This fight could get messy.

Bethany listened to everyone else as they started to mention about their weaknesses against their powers and nodded slightly as she looked at everyone else. Klara, Runa and Edus were probably going to be the toughest to get rid of whenever they did encounter their counterparts. She turned to look at Klara and nodded towards her, she Ed and Mary were able to meet this reality's version of her. "Yeah like Strange said we did see your counterpart there before we all met up with you guys." Bethany told her, as Strange opened up a portal and looked through the other side.

"Lets head on out then." Bethany said as she started to walk through the portal and onto the other end she took a moment to start looking around the area. "Should we split up into smaller groups and search that way we can cover more ground quicker?" Beth asked looking at the rest of the team to see what they decided to do, it would help a little bit and cover more ground as well to.

Antoinette felt good about going over everyone's weaknesses. It was a nice review even though she trained with most of them and that required to know fighting style and powers in order to overthrow them. Still, Antoinette felt fairly confident that between them all, they would be able to handle their counterparts.
Once Strange opened the portal, Antoinette walked through after Edus. They were in another heavily wooded area which made for good cover but also difficult to see enemies lurking about. She scanned the ground around them, trying to decide what a good direction to head in first would be. No information yielded itself to Antoinette and she seemed even more confused and disoriented than she had before. She wiggled her nose in concentration, trying to benefit the group in some way.

Guin Stark

Location: the Mansion -> Woods
Skills: Telepathy

Guin had already grabbed what she needed from the ship - her suit. A small part of her was afraid to bring it with her, afraid that Magneto might try to use it against her. But she also knew that wearing the ship would give her a huge boost in terms of power - one that they might need to secure the MacGuffin crystal. So despite her better judgment, Guin kept the damaged case containing her suit with her. Hopefully Magneto wouldn't personally show up to get the crystal anyways - that felt like something he'd have his lackeys do. "Let's go save the Legendary Silver Crystal and our princess, then," Guin quipped, before going through Strange's sling ring portal.

In the woods, Guin paused for a moment, using her telepathy to reach out into the nearby area. She didn't hear anyone there besides them. "Looks like the Hellfire Club and the Brotherhood haven't showed up to crash the party yet, so we should try to be as quick as we can," Guin advised. "Maybe instead of splitting up, we have Pietro run through the woods and canvas them quickly. He can do it faster alone than any of us could." And hopefully, they could then just grab the MacGuffin and get out of there - though Guin suspected it likely would not be that easy...

Runa Baldurdattir

Location: the Mansion -> the Woods
Skills: N/A

Runa had her belongings that she needed, and she quietly stepped through the sling ring portal. She was doing her best to focus on the task at hand, rather than worry more about Lance's psyche and whether he would ever truly return to her. It was a little easier to keep her mind off of it once she had the M'Kraan crystal to think about. She almost wished for a good fight with the Hellfire Club and the Brotherhood, if only for the distraction that violence would afford. But at least for the moment, it seemed that they were alone.

"It is not a bad idea to have Pietro quickly scout, but I feel we should send off groups as well - just so as to not place all of our hopes in one speedster," Runa counseled. "Particularly when the other Quicksilver could arrive at any moment - and cause chaos for ours and our plans."

"With counterparts running around, we probably shouldn't just send Pietro running around like that. We should split up into groups since that also will make things a bit easier in the long run when it comes to looking around..." Mary said, nodding her head in a agreement. She took a look at the group, sorting people through into who would make the most sense to be with the others. Ok, so here's what we'll do. We'll split into two groups while Pietro scouts out the area too and he can just sort of meet up with whatever group eventually. The first group will be Guin, Ed, me and Klara... That leaves Runa, Lance, Annie and Bethany... We split up to cover more ground, but under no circumstances should anyone get separated from their group completely and keep each other within eyesight... Because that could cause problems if the others then run into your counterpart."

Her thinking with the group arrangement was that they had someone who had some form of mental power (Guin it was her telepathy, Annie with illusions that more of bent perception), someone who was a main magic user of sorts (Ed and Runa really), and someone who was more of a physical fighter (Klara, and Lance at times) leaving her and Bethany to join whichever group. She hadn't really liked the idea of putting both Bethany and Runa on the same team because of the darkness thing, however she wanted to be there to keep an eye on "Klara" along with Ed in case she might try anything, or give anymore proof that she might not really be who she says she is.

"Ok, that works for me, guess I'll see you all in a little bit then?" Pietro said with a shrug, before taking off. This is fun, dealing with potentially alternate versions of ourselves that probably want us dead or something, this will be fun right?

"Alright, find a piece of a crystal, get the hell out of here, don't die, got it. Though damaging the crystal anymore would be a bad idea too. Since that could make it more unstable and likely to unravel the universe as we know it. Anyway, whose going which direction? I don't care where we go as long as we get going already."

"We just pick a direction and sort of spread out a little bit to look. Since we can't just stand here around all day," Mary then said, before deciding to just pick a direction, and heading that way, hoping at least that her group would maybe decide to follow along. Klara shrugged a bit, before she followed along after her, clearly a little bit bored or something at the moment.

Lance was staying quiet for the most part, and Runa at most was able to potentially sense the crystal was in the area. Unfortunately, much like Strange, she was unable to pinpoint a better location, or potential direction to start off with, it was still just in the area. One thing she could tell though was that the energy it was giving off was shifting, fluctuating, so that might potentially explain why it was difficult to figure out where it was.

"...So which direction should we go in?" Lance ended up asking, looking at those who were in the second group.
