Bethany Bell

New York, Stark Tower
Skills: N/A

Bethany looked at the others as she listened to them, looking at Pietro as he was elected to start scouting around the area for their counterparts or the crystal that would hopefully get them all back home. "I'm fine with splitting up into smaller groups." Bethany said, though she wasn't really looking forward to encountering her counterpart again and having to fight her again. Bethany listened to Mary as she suggested the groups and nodded slightly. "Works for me then." Bethany said as she went over to Lance, Runa, and Annie.

"Lets head in the opposite direction then." Beth said as she turned and headed another way while the others went with whatever direction that they chose to go with. "So any idea what the crystal looks like color wise?" Bethany asked looking over towards Runa since she had the whole connection with it and all that.

Mary was a good leader, Antoinette never had a problem with following Mary around, even though she had that alter ego going on. Antoinette listened to Mary's direction as she took all ideas into consideration and then split everyone up. Antoinette moved closer to her group and nodded.
"Good luck everyone!" she said before turning to follow Bethany. Antoinette's intuition didn't yield any help in regards to finding the crystal so, she decided to rely on eyes and Runa'a affinity for it. She could contribute on the offensive or defensive should the need arise.

Guin Stark

Location: Woods
Skills: Telepathy

Guin disagreed with Mary when it came to what Pietro should do - she was confident that she'd be able to identify her Pietro vs the Pietro of this world, if not by telepathy than by the fact that this world's Pietro was cruel and callous and sociopathic. He was the spitting image of his father's worst qualities. Guin raised an eyebrow at the groups Mary picked - she knew that Edus was weird around her - but she didn't say anything. They didn't really have much time to argue about this before others came looking for the crystal. Yeeeah, soooo much fun, Guin replied sarcastically to Pietro.

She then set off with her group, Amidala flying around and enjoying checking out the trees. Guin did feel a little bit bad that her pet was on this trip with them - it was hard enough for them to survive and they were mutants, the little space lemur must've been traumatized. She made a mental note to see about rehoming the pet with Pepper once they got back home. As much as she loved Amidala, she had a feeling the space lemur would be happier and safer with Pepper - Stark Tower didn't get blown up nearly as often as the X-Mansion did, after all.

"So... What do you all want to talk about while we search for the MacGuffin Crystal?" Guin asked, keeping her mind open so she could quickly detect if anyone were to approach them.

Runa Baldurdattir

Location: the Woods
Skills: N/A

Runa was doing her best to concentrate on the shard of the M'Kraan crystal and not her relationship drama. It did, however, strike her as somewhat odd that only Lance really seemed to be effected like this. No one else had completely lost themselves in this world, or if they had, they weren't letting on. "I am sorry - I cannot give us a direction to go off of. It's as if the crystal is all around us and nowhere at once, the energy shifting and pulling and changing..." her voice trailed off. The M'Kraan crystal was connected to the entire multiverse - it wouldn't be an easy, simple thing to find. She doubted even her magic would be able to track it much more than they already had.

She followed Bethany in the opposite direction of the other group, doing her best to listen to the sounds of the forest as they walked. "Oh, the M'Kraan crystal is a beautiful pink - hopefully it should not be too hard to spot, though these woods are dense and there are many places where it might be found..." She had never seen the M'Kraan crystal in person before, but she had seen drawings of it in texts in the grand libraries of Asgard. She liked that it was pink, too - that one of the most powerful objects in existence, connected to the feminine force of life, the Phoenix, could be considered girly. There was strength in girly things.

Ed nodded at the groups. It would work well enough. It might have been good that they had Guin with them since maybe she could interfere with whatever was wrong with the Klara here. Ed felt that Frost might have been manipulating Klara to keep her from remembering herself. If so, why?

He pushed the thoughts about the Klara thing aside and started walking with Mary. He kept the shield up. He didn't want them to get hit by something undercover. He started scanning and looking for the crystal. Since they had no idea where it could be, he searched the ground and trees. It was a good thing Runa had told them it was a bright pink color. That wouldn't be camouflaged too much.

"There is not too much to really talk about I don't think..." Mary said with a slight laugh as they walked along a bit. She wasn't too sure how things were going to go, but she did know quite a bit about the crystal, at least somewhat anyway. She knew enough that they had to be extremely careful when getting a hold of the shard, since the shard itself was likely very unstable. Which knowing their luck was probably not going to be possible.

"I mean, we're looking for a bright pink crystal, which should kind of stand out, so who knows, if we're unlucky one of the other groups found it first. If we're lucky we'll find it first. All of this is basically up to chance at this point really."

"How about we just hope that it's the option of we can still get to it first as opposed to the other one..." They weren't exactly getting anywhere with regards to where they were or what it was that they were doing. They were looking for a needle in a haystack really with the wooded area, since the crystal could be anywhere, and they were stuck wandering in search of it. Sure, they were in the right area, but that didn't exactly mean a whole lot really.

Guin would start to be able to detect someone getting closer to them, actually several someones. And they were coming fast. There was a gust of wind that entered the area, almost as if it was the announcing Pietro's return, however, it very much wasn't. Instead, the gust of wind announced the arrival of a different group of people, but several of its members would be very familiar though now.

"Well isn't this interesting, turns out we aren't the only ones in the area, that's fun," Quicksilver said with a smirk. He looked at the group, and now they'd be able to see everyone else who was now in the area. They'd be able to see Phantazia and Pyro from their fight before, another man and then they'd also be able to see the counterparts for both Guin and Annie there. "This will be fun dealing with all of you now," Quicksilver added, before he took off in another gust of wind, starting to circle the area they were in now.

Well this was not good, not good at all. Mary's mind was racing a bit considering who they were dealing with, namely the fact that Pietro's counterpart could easily cause issues for them, but also the fact that freaking Exodus was there too? Uh oh, this was going to be a bit of a problem for the to say the least.

The other group would be off wandering through the woods, being able to look around. Runa would be able to feel that they were somewhat close to the crystal, but nothing overly so really. Lance wasn't too sure how things were going to go in general at this point. His brain was still a bit foggy when it came to these people who he was wandering around with. He didn't really know much about who they were, but did know that apparently something had happened to make things that way, but he couldn't really figure out what it was that caused that.

Right now he was just sort of listening in as Runa and Bethany were talking about the crystal that they were looking for and what it looked like. There wasn't much else seemingly going on around them, though that wasn't all too surprising. Actually that was a good thing really in his mind, but currently he wasn't too sure how long that was going to last.

Which wasn't too surprising with regards to what was going on around them. There was the sound of movement nearby. Suddenly, as if out of nowhere, a very familiar looking sword went by, and Annie would feel the air rush by her as the sword just barely missed her head, before getting buried in a tree. The sword seemed to move a bit, before it managed to break free from the tree, and shooting backwards past them.

"Huh, well isn't this an interesting thing to say the least, but dang it clearly I'm losing my touch, I missed my target," Klara said, as her sword jolted back into her hand, and she looked at the group, as a few others would seemingly be with her from the Hellfire Club. Both Bethany and Ed's counterparts would be there, as would Gambit, Rogue, and one other person stepped out nearby.

"I don't usually decide to make appearances and all, but thought this was something too important to not investigate myself. And what do we find? Others after the same thing? This is intriguing isn't it?" Emma Frost commented, looking at the group.

"So it's pink gotcha that should stick out pretty easily then." Bethany said looking towards Runa and smiled glad that she had the info on her. Though she did hate the color pink but she didnt really want to say anything about it as she continued to look around the area, she then paused as her head started to pound quiet a bit and groaned as she held it. Flashes of her counterpart's life went through her head and how she ended up joining the Hellfire Club. But oddly she remembered their own reality as she looked at Runa for a moment, she knew that her friend was worried about Lance, it was already happening to her now as well. She thought about not mentioning it, but Beth knew that if she suddenly changed she might end up hurting her friends.

"Hey, uh just so you know my mind is starting to change, but I do remember our reality." Bethany told the others, when a sword came flying past Annie's head and landing into a nearby tree. Bethany turned to see that it was The Hellfire Club along with her counterpart, Klara's counterpart as well as Ed's as well to and Emma Frost appearing in front of them with Rogue and Gambit in tow to. "Oh hey looky it's my twin again." Nightlocke said as she stared directly at Bethany, they were told to get the crystal by any means necessary even if it meant to attack her own counterpart.

Antoinette continued to scan the forest as she walked with the others. It was odd not really having a sense of direction to go. Even Runa couldn’t get a read on where the crystal was. Eventually she came to a halt when she felt a gust of wind go by and then a sword was embedded in the tree in front of her. Antoinette’s eyes widened and she turned to see Klara walking past the trees, upset she had missed her target. It took Antoinette that long to realize this was the alternate Klara and they were all in trouble.
The Hellfire club came forward and Antoinette shifted back to be in line with the rest of her group. Emma Frost walked forward and having her here was never a good thing. To top that off, their Bethany’s mind was starting to warp. She looked at the alternate realities Ed and Bethany, not entirely sure she would be able to attack them. This moment was so strange.

I was expecting, more I suppose. Do you want her or shall I have my fun?” Mystery looked at her Guin, waiting for an answer.

Ed was not excited that Annie's counterpart was one of the ones that showed up. He was fond of Annie. He pushed that away. These were not their friends. Quicksilver was evil here. The others were too. He had to accept that and quickly. But for now, he could focus on Quicksilver. That was at least something he had already done. It was even a little cathartic.

Ed tried to throw a bubble shield around Quicksilver, stopping him from running around like the little maniac he was. Unfortunately, he was just a bit too fast for him. Fine, he thought. Time to use his speed against him. Ed threw up several force field walls in Quicksilver's general path. It semi-worked. While Ed had been hoping Quicksilver wouldn't have been able to stop in time and would have ended up like something out of a cartoon. Instead, the guy was able to stop. It did come with the bonus that now he had stopped moving. Maybe Mary could tie him up with some plants. As he thought that, Ed realized they were in the best place possible for Mary to fight.

Mage

Location: The woods (Hellfire Club)

Mage frowned, looking at the group in front of them. These people were a distraction from their goal. But there were different people here. When they had met the group claiming to be from a different universe, they had had a version of him with them. He wasn't here. There were two reasons for that.

"They have a larger group. I don't see the two others that were with Nightlocke's counterpart among these." How many did they have in their group? The trio they had met had been vague on the details. Had they known about the crystal originally and been keeping that close to the chest? Mage prepared to create a shield, a familiar movement to the group as he reached into a pocket to touch his shield medallion.

Guin Stark

Location: Woods (Mary's Group)
Skills: Telepathy

"Guys, someone's coming," Guin announced suddenly, detecting the thoughts of people moving rapidly towards them. The movement was so fast, accompanied with a burst of wind, that one would've been forgiven for assuming that Pietro had returned. In a way, he had. Guin's heart skipped a beat out of dread - it was the other Quicksilver, the sadistic one from this world. Accompanying him were Pyro and Phantazia, a man with pink skin that she didn't recognize, and finally what looked to be Annie and herself. Guin noticed the eyepatch covering her counterpart's eye and she couldn't help but feel guilty. That version of her was an abused and brainwashed captive - and there was probably little she could do.

It suddenly occurred to her - that she could remember both this world and their own now. Her head was pounding slightly from the mixed up memories. She took a deep steadying breath, trying to focus on her most recent memories. Guin then learned that her counterpart had a device that could track the M'Kraan crystal, better than Strange had been able to. Their Guin has a device that's tracking the crystal, we need to grab it or destroy it, Guin said telepathically to the others present. It took her three tries to get the message through, something was blocking her.

There was also some weirdness since Guin was married to Pietro - but in this world, Quicksilver was her primary abuser. It was a sadistic twist of the knife. She felt like she needed to apologize to herself. "It's going to be fun beating you, asshole," Guin promised. She didn't know the pink man's powers, but the only other person with telepathy there was Guin's counterpart, and Guin imagined that her counterpart's mind had to be an absolute mess. She was confident, perhaps overconfident, she could handle these people.

Lavender Haze

Location: Woods (Mary's group)
Skills: Telepathy

The girl had once gone by Guin Stark, years ago. Forcibly indoctrinated into the Brotherhood, she had eventually been instructed to select a new, mutant name. There had been a truly awful suggestion of Techno Wizard, or just repurposing her dead father's mantle. But her entire life felt hazy at times, so Lavender Haze it became - usually just called Haze for brevity.

She tilted her head slightly, looking at the people they had encountered. It was definitely incredibly strange, looking at a version of herself, one without scars or a missing eyeball... She didn't allow her attention to linger long, however. They were close to their objective, her instrument's readings leading them to a more precise location. "You can have her," she told Mystery. The girl meant nothing to her. None of these people really did. While Haze's companions were most ruthless and excited for fights, she just... wasn't.

Runa Baldurdattir

Location: the Woods (Runa's group)
Skills: Darkness Manipulation

"Annie, are you alright?" Runa asked, alarmed. But beyond the near miss murder attempt, another thing instantly had her troubled. She recognized the circlet worn by Klara - it looked identical to one she had made for her cousin, enchanting it with a protection spell. Bethany's revelation that her mind was continuing to warp was even the more concerning. Runa felt sick to her stomach. She mumbled a silent prayer to her grandmother, a force of life and fire incarnate. They could use all the help they could get.

"Stay behind me, Annie," Runa then added. Runa was more durable - the only one there who matched her durability was poor Lance. Her heart was pained just thinking about him. She didn't want to think about him. She reached her hand out and commanded darkness, wrapping Klara up in darkness and restraining her. She extended her other hand, attempting to do the same thing to Mage, but she couldn't quite grasp him - keeping Klara restrained was taking up too much of her concentration.

The Brotherhood group looked a bit bored for a moment or so. However Exodus would join his own telepathic abilities with Haze, which would lead to a bit of a painful attack that would shoot off and hit everyone. It was completely debilitating, however it would still be fairly painful for the group. Quicksilver rolled his eyes at Guin's supposed threat, "Honestly? You lot are like, far from scary. Your threat is kind of amusing," Quicksilver said with a laugh.

Mary's head was reeling a bit from the psionic attack that had just shot through everyone, but she was trying to focus on the power sets of everyone there, and it was definitely not looking too good for them. "I'll be honest, most of the group isn't too concerning..." she ended up saying rather quickly to the others, keeping her voice down so that the Brotherhood members couldn't really hear her. "...It's Exodus that's going to be the problem...

As if right on cue with it, Exodus decided to send the entire group flying backwards with telekinesis, knocking just about everyone to the ground to go along with the lovely telepathic attack from before. Ed would slam into the ground pretty hard, before sliding across the forest floor a bit and landing at the base of a tree trunk. Guin similarly would get knocked into a tree, hitting it with a thud. Klara got sent crashing through several trees, before hitting the ground, but got up fairly quickly, and Mary got thrown backwards and ended up hitting the ground fairly hard as well.

Phantazia seemed to be trying to disrupt powers, but that didn't seem to be going too well, and Pyro was able to manipulate some fire, however he also seemed to be having some problems with doing that though. The ground began to shake though, the trees in the immediate area started almost shifting in a way, some of them seemed to be growing, their colors shifting to be more of a darkened black, not to mention they seemed to be sprouting... Limbs? The trees seemed to take on human like characteristics, a bit reminiscent of tree ents from Lord of the Rings or any other fantasy book or movie.

Mary got up off the ground, her eyes a bright red, "Okay, now that hurt, word of advice, mental attacks to a mentally unstable person, you might not like the results, especially when you're somewhere like this," she said, before the plant life started going a bit out of control around the area. A few vines shot off and tried to wrap up Exodus, but he dodged out of the way as a few of the trees seemed to start trying to grab a hold of Phantazia and Pyro. Though the one heading for Pyro was keeping a bit of a distance, as he managed to fend it off with fire to keep it away from him, for now anyway.

Quicksilver raced over now and looked a bit annoyed. Glancing around at the group, he raced around again, before deciding that he was a bit annoyed with Ed for having decided to try and turn him into a Looney Toons cartoon by having him crash into a wall, almost since he had managed to stop himself. The speedster raced over and Ed ended up getting a bit more bruised as Quicksilver managed to grab him and toss him away again. Though at least this time it didn't actually really hurt, just irritated the bruises and such that Ed had already gotten.

Nightlocke before Annie can move does manage to tie her up, though one thing is clear that the restraints aren't super tight or secure, so it might be possible for her to get out somewhat easily. Klara meanwhile was having a bit of a difficult time breaking free from the restraints that Runa had created that had tied her up. Eventually though, she was able to move her hand enough to use a very quick spell, muttering under her breath, allowing her to break free from everything. "Well wasn't that rude... And hey, do I know you? You look familiar... Can't quite place it..." she ended up saying out loud.

"Best to not dwell on it Klara," Emma responded with a smile.

"I mean whatever you say I guess," she concluded, though she didn't exactly sound very convinced about that, though she held her sword up and looked at the group again. "Now maybe we should have some fun don't you all think?" she added, before she used magic to summon up some fire in the palm of her hand, however she stopped short of sending it flying at anyone.

"I do have to agree, where are the others who are with you? Guessing you split up to look for the same thing that we are? Unfortunately we can't allow you to interfere with our plans."

Klara in that moment sent the fireball in her hand flying at Bethany, managing to hit her in the stomach, knocking her to the ground, she'd feel the burns appearing on her body from where the fire had hit. Luckily though she hadn't caught on fire or anything.

Gambit drew some cards from his pocket and charged up a few before sending them flying at the group. The first one he threw went wide and exploded not near anyone. The other two he sent out caused some issues at least temporary ones. One landed on the ground next to where Lance was, blasting him backwards and onto the ground. The other one managed to hit Runa, blowing up a bit in her face and knocking her down too. Thankfully she was Asgardian right? The force would hurt a bit, but didn't seem to cause too much in the way of injuries, she would just be fairly sore from the experience.

Ed was irritated. He felt like a rag doll. Having first been tossed by Exodus. He also didn't like how Mary sounded at the moment. Something seemed off. Maybe that was just the ringing in his ears...head. And of course Quicksilver hadn't been stopped. They didn't have anyone who could do cold in their group. Well Klara could do water...maybe she could do cold.

He would work with what he had. He started throwing up more force walls. Forcing Quicksilver away from the group. He wasn't quick enough to get him boxed in, but at least this way Quicksilver was distracted away from the fight somewhat.

Mage

Location: The woods (Hellfire Club)(Runa's group)
Skills: Magic

The only person in this group that Mage could guess their fighting style was Bethany. He had seen her fight already once before. But his force didn't really produce light. It wouldn't be much good against her. His skill really was in field control. But he could send blasts of force that hurt if he controlled them just right. Mage frowned everyone was knocked down already. He summoned as many force blasts as he could manage, and then rained them down on the group from above. At first he couldn't get any to rain down. He reorientated his mind. The force blasts rained down. Hitting Lance and Runa, slightly injuring them.

Bethany Bell

New York, Woods
Skills: Shadow manipilation/solidification

Bethany turned to look at the group as she was about to get ready to attack one of them, when the Klara counterpart sent a fireball directly at her easily knocking her backwards causing her to land on her back. She groaned slightly looking at her slightly scorched shirt she winced as burns started to appear over her stomach. Beth groaned as she slowly started to get back up to her feet and stared at the group, she remembered what Ed said as the best way to deal with him was to separate him from his magic stuff.

Bethany quickly sent out a whip of shadows and sent them forward as they managed to latch onto his things and tossed them to the side, but it wasnt as far as she had liked. Seeing them falling to the ground right next to Ed she looked over at the others they needed to find the crystal but they had to deal with them as well to. "Nope it's just the four of us here." Bethany lied.

Lightlocke

New York, Woods
Skills: Shadow manipilation/solidification

Nightlocke noticed that her bindings around Annie werent as tight as she would have liked as she quickly started to tighten them up around Annie giving her a slightly evil smile trying to crush her. She watched as the others of the Hellfire Club started to attack the others they needed to find the Crystal and they were clearly in the way of finding it.

"Maybe someone should go and look for it while we deal with the others here?" Nightlocke suggested, they needed to have someone search for what they were actually looking for. That or they needed to end the fight as quickly as possible as well to, they were a threat to what they were needing.

Runa quickly jumped in front of Antoinette, for which she was grateful for as it allowed her to regain her focus. Unfortunately, it was too late for her to defend herself against the alternate Bethany. Nighlock wrapped her quickly with shadows and didn't linger in tightening the bonds even though they were loose initially.
Everyone was fighting their own battle at this point so Antoinette concentrated on her assailant. First, she used her pyrokinetics so the light broke the shadow bonds. Antoinette stood and shook out her head and limbs before creating an illusion of bees. Hopefully, this Bethany was just as scared of the fuzzy buzz as her Bethany was. Antoinette sent the bees towards her foe and had them surround her. The large swarm created an angry hum around Nightlock, ready to do more damage with a nudge from Antoinette.

Mystery

Location: Random Forest – New York City

"Oh, Haze. You spoil me." Mystery's eyes instantly started to sparkle and colourful fire erupted across her hands and up her arms. She looked left and right before she shot the flames forwards. They sparkled and danced as they ran along the ground to create a wall of the colourful fire blocking the groups from further attacks on each other.
Her eyes started to glow then and flames seemed to rise higher and even began to emit the small whistle and pop sounds that firework displays often had but Mystery wasn't done yet. She pushed her arms wide to create a pathway to the recently thrown Guin. She sauntered down the hallway of flames to her target.
By this point all Mystery cared to notice was her target and nothing going on around her. Which meant the rising flames that were almost level with the trees, thanks to her illusion casting, went unnoticed by her.
"I'm glad Haze met you. Maybe now seeing how beautiful her eyes could be she'll get rid of that ugly eye patch." Mystery grinned before she shifted into her attack. By now, the grass was starting to catch on fire.

Guin Stark

Location: Woods (Mary's Group)
Skills: Telepathy, Agility, Unarmed Combat

Have you found anything yet? We're getting our asses kicked here - literally, Guin whispered telepathically to Pietro. Things were not going well. Exodus and Guin's counterpart, Haze, were telepathically assaulting their minds. Quicksilver was being an asshole. Exodus had thrown them all back, sending Guin flying into a tree. Mary seemed to have lost control and was ripping up the trees around them. And then Annie's counterpart, Mystery, was sashaying towards her, having cut Guin off from her allies by an immediately very aesthetic wall of fireworks.

"Uh, wow. Very hot - literally. And creepy. Honestly didn't know Annie had it in her," Guin quipped. She was a naturally quippy person, but she also was at a disadvantage here, as she was on the ground. She tried to kick Mystery in the jaw from her position on the ground against the tree, but she missed, her leg not extending far enough. Quickly improvising, Guin instead swept Mystery's legs out from underneath her, sending her fabulous foe crashing to the ground. "What is your deal though? I'm kinda curious now. What's your evil backstory?"

She then concentrated on the telepathic onslaught Exodus and Haze were unleashing, projecting a telepathic shield for her group. It was dampening the worst of it, which was really the best that Guin could do, especially as she was still actively fighting against evil Annie for her life.

Lavender Haze

Location: Woods (Mary's group)
Skills: Telepathy

Haze's lips briefly twitched into a smile at Mystery's thanks, a motion so brief that most people would've missed it. She was amused with Mystery's theatrics, finding the pyrotechnic wall rather beautiful. The girl that looked like her - Guin Stark - wasn't putting up much of a telepathic struggle. Haze wordlessly communicated with Exodus that she was going to refocus her efforts on the strong one, just giving him a single glance. Clearly, they didn't need both of them telepathically attacking this group. Either of them could have done this in their sleep.

At first, Haze went with a rather simple attack - she focused on the ginger one, attempting to pull her into one of her own worst memories. Yet nothing happened. Haze tilted her head, deciding on an alternative approach. She would convince the girl that her friends were her foes and that they, her foes, were her very best friends.

Runa Baldurdattir

Location: the Woods (Runa's group)
Skills: Darkness Manipulation, Staff Combat

Things were hardly going well here either. Klara had broken free from Runa's restraints, and clearly seemed to recognize her, building up the uneasy feeling in Runa's stomach. Yes, it was very possible that in this world, she had made her cousin an identical circlet. But she could hardly contemplate the uncanniness of it all before Gambit, the rake, threw a card that exploded in her face. "Arghh," Runa complained, spitting a little bit of blood out of her mouth, not really injured at all thanks to being a goddess, but she was annoyed. "I will deal with you next, scoundrel," she promised.

Runa briefly took a moment to focus on Betheny's lie, using her subtle dominion over lies to make it more believable.

She needed to focus on the sorcerer though, as he was pelting them above with blasts of energy, some of which had hit Runa. She gritted her teeth in annoyance. Couldn't these people respect the rules of combat and go one at a time? Where was the civility in this warfare? "Edus, if you had wanted my undivided attention, all you needed to do was simply ask," Runa said. She sent a rush of darkness at him, forcing the darkness into his mouth, causing him to suffocate and choke. If he died, she didn't care. But truthfully, all she wanted to do was take his magic off the board.

Runa then swung at Edus with Gandr, attempting to hit him in the head with her staff, but - luckily for him - she missed.

Mary looked over at Haze after she had gotten into her head. Haze when she went into her mind would hear a lot of noise and chaos, namely it seemed like two people were arguing. Though after Haze seemed to mess with her head, one of the voices (the seemingly more violent one) went silent apparently the one in control. The other seemed to be trying to stop them and take control back.

Whatever it was, Chrysi was the one that Haze had messed with, and that was just asking for trouble. The things that she had summoned up now weren't going for the Brotherhood group, nope, instead now they were heading for them. The trees that were moving around instantly went to make a grab for the different members of the group.

One of them instantly slammed a branch into Ed, once more seeing him get thrown backwards. He really was getting thrown around a bit at this point, if only he could actually stay on his feet for a few moments. Of course, he wasn't the only one getting attacked. Though Klara managed to catch the swing that came towards her, and she instantly used her sword to swing straight through the tree branch that tried to hit her. "Well isn't this insanely annoying!" she complained a bit, before she started turning the tree into a bunch of kindling because she was mad at this.

Her attention turned towards the pyrotechnic wall that Mystery had summoned, and she rolled her eyes a bit annoyed at this instance. Her sword appeared blue for a moment, as she pointed it straight up. Water started to fall from the sky, a rain cloud appearing over the forested area that they were in. Mystery's wall would start to die down, and now it would be more apparent where the illusion was, and where her pyrotechnics were. The wall was smaller, but not completely gone now.

Now to the rest of the Brotherhood group. Seems like with a combination of the rain and just wanting to mess with people, Quicksilver was not watching at all where he was going. And much like a cartoon character, he slammed straight into one of Ed's force fields, and he bounced off of it, landing on the ground with a thud. "Owwwwwww he complained, but he was a bit dazed for a moment anyway.

Exodus started using his powers to throw various objects at people. Finding things that could stand up to the fire and all that was getting thrown around at this point. But he did managed to find some rocks and such to throw around with his telekinesis. One of such darted through the pyrotechnics and would hit Guin in the head, causing quite a bit of blood to start coming from her head, and she'd start to feel a bit light headed from the injury.

Pyro instantly was now fighting against the rain that Klara had created to cause some damage. It took him a few tries, but he managed to create some fire despite the rain, and he figured to send straight at Klara, managing to hit her and once more she ended up getting thrown to the ground. A few small burns appeared on her body where she got hit from his attacks. Phantazia also seemed to be wanting to at least somewhat get the Asgardian out of the picture, as she started using her own powers. A few more burns appeared on her body as her powers overall started going haywire, and now she was kind of hurting a bit from Pyro's attack now.

There was a gust of wind, nearby, but it wasn't Quicksilver who caused it, as Pietro raced into the area, "What the hell is going on here?" he asked, seeing the insane chaos around him.

Over with the other group, it would suddenly start to rain out of nowhere. It had been clear skies before, but now there was a decently large raincloud up above them. Klara there tilted her head to the side, a bit confused for a moment about something, but thinking nothing of it, before she went straight at Runa. Swinging her sword directly at her, but luckily Runa would be able to catch it and somewhat block it with her staff, but it was clear she was actively trying to hurt her at this point.

"How about you pick on someone else?" she said to Runa, before kicking her in the stomach and sending her backwards, breaking her concentration enough to allow Mage to breathe again. "Who are you?" she then asked seemingly again, tilting her head to the side as she stepped forward again, twirling her sword a bit in her hand.

Lance sent a blast of light at Klara, missing her, and her attention turned towards him. Though his next blast of light slammed into her, sending her backwards and away from Runa now. "Are you okay Runa?" he asked her. Everything was going a bit haywire though at this point still though, as he didn't notice Rogue sneak up behind him, and managed to drain some of his energy, and he stumbled a bit, before Rogue sent a blast of light knocking him to the ground.

"Maybe someone should go see where the thing is," Rogue commented, before she sent a blast of light at Bethany now, managing to slam it into her and throw her to the ground. Her vision would be a bit spotty now because of the bright light she got hit with.

Gambit meanwhile sent more cards flying at everyone, not really having one specific target with his attacks. Annie ended up getting the worst of it as the cards slammed into her, exploding and throwing her backwards, burns appearing on her from the explosions, and blood coming from her head where it ended up hitting the ground. Everyone else ended up with a few burns from the attacks (aside from Runa since yay for Asgardian durability).

"Well this could be going better..." Lance muttered under his breath, sending a blast of light at Gambit now, managing to knock him down and temporarily blind him for the moment.

Bethany Bell

New York, Woods
Skills: Shadow manipilation/solidification

"These guys are really annoying." Bethany said as she got into a fighting stance as the other counterparts started to attack their group, she noticed that the rain had started to fall all of a sudden. Either it was just the weather in the area or it was Klara causing the rain to suddenly appear. When Rogue suddenly took some of Lance' power and attacked him with it, and then on her, Bethany tried to shield herself from it but she wasnt able to in time.

Bethany laid down on her back for a moment her vising blurry and covered in spots thanks to the light attack on her, Bethany really hated bright lights and her power was less effective against it as Bethany slowly started to get up looking at Lance. "Help me out with her yeah?" Bethany asked Lance hopefully both light and shadow together could overwhelm Rogue.

Lightlocke

New York, Woods
Skills: Shadow manipilation/solidification

Nightlocke turned her attention over towards Annie as she started to summon an illusion of bees around her, the one thing that Nightlocke hated the most were bees. After having a traumatic experience when she was little and being stung by a swarm of those angry little creatures.

"Bees really fucking hate them!" Nightlocke said sounding rather annoyed at Andy as Gambit managed to knock her backwards with one of his exploding cards. She started to think for a moment as her attention was back on Annie for a way to get rid of her as Nightlocke started to think of an idea and smiled to herself summoning as much darkness as she could around Annie hoping that her little idea would actually work against her.

Antoinette McCarthy

Location: Random Forest – New York City
Skills: Illusion Casting; Hand to Hand Combat;

The bees Antoinette casted succeeded in making Nightlocke rather angry but it didn’t terrify her like Antoinette had been hoping for. She took a step back to regroup and think of something else, but as she did, she got slammed by exploding cards. It sent her flying backwards until she hit the ground and hit her head.
Antoinette was rather disoriented for a moment before she managed to sit herself up. Her hand immediately went to her head and she pulled her fingers away to reveal blood. The amount of times they had all hit their head, it was amazing none of them had brain damage.
Antoinette shifted and pushed herself to her feet once more. The pouring rain wasn’t helping matters and that limited Antoinette’s ability. She let the thought of fire go and just tried to concentrate on taking Nightlocke out.
She kept her illusion of bees but instead, tried to shift them so that they were on fire. Antoinette saw no shift in her illusion and slowly the bees faded from existence. She looked around at those fighting and felt a twinge of self-pity and doubt. What was she even doing here? She wasn't a fighter like these people but she had to try, at least so she wouldn't be killed.
Focusing back on Nightlocke, Antoinette ran for her in an effort to attack. She missed her target but her dad's voice filled her head, reminding her what to do next. She shifted back onto her rear foot, turned and hit Nightlocke with a hook to her head. Nightlocke stumbled back from the force of it and Antoinette raised her hands to protect her face but was ready to strike again.

Mystery

Location: Random Forest – New York City
Skills: Illusion Casting - Sensory Inducement;

Mystery attempted to sidestep Guin’s attack but she still ended up on her back staring at the sky. Mystery started to laugh before she pushed herself up onto her elbows and looked at Guin. She grinned at her question and shrugged. She looked down and picked off invisible thread from her outfit before she sat up.
”Your Annie must be quite boring if you didn’t know she had this in her. Maybe I should pay her a little visit, show her what she is missing out on.” The fire around them started to dim thanks to Klara’s water. Mystery let that minor annoyance go and got back to her feet to answer Guin’s next question. ”Unfortunately, my tragic backstory is quite unremarkable and like most mutant little girls, my mommy and da were killed in front of me. Would you like to see?”
Before Mystery could show Guin her parent’s death, Haze’s counterpart was hit in the head by flying rocks. Mystery turned around, her eyes sparkling with fire and anger as she glared at Exodus. ”Back off, she’s mine. Worry about Quicksilver 2.0,” she suggested before turning back to look at Guin.
Mystery stalked towards her downed prey, a smirk on her face as she twisted her right hand around and around, weaving physically what she was trying to do mentally.
Fire poured from Mystery's mind into Guin's, however, her first attempt failed but Mystery pushed harder and broke past the barrier into Guin's mind. To Guin it would feel like her head, brain, all of it, was on fire. There was no fire to be seen but the raw sensation if it would hopefully be enough.
Still a foot away from Guin, Mystery crouched down, her hand still rotating slowly like a snake. The hand movement was unnecessary but Mystery did like adding creative flair to her attacks.
"How does it feel?" she asked, her voice a low purr.

Guin Stark

Location: Woods (Mary's Group)
Skills: Telepathy, Stamina, Unarmed Combat

Guin really was not having a good day. The trees were no longer attacking the Brotherhood and instead were going after them - "Shit," Guin cursed. Rain poured down on the fiery wall that had separated Guin off from the rest of the group - it was smaller, but still there. And then out of nowhere, a rock hit her in the head, and Guin's ears rang for a moment. She instinctively reached up with her hand to the wound, and she pulled it away, finding her hand covered in her own blood. "Shit," she repeated. Guin was barely focusing on Mystery's creepy monologue, her head feeling a bit lighter than would be safe. She kept one hand against the wound, putting pressure on it as best as she could.

"Yeah, one asshole at a time, wait your turn, Pinkie Pie!" Guin shouted at Exodus, agreeing with Mystery for once here.

At first, nothing happened. And then suddenly, Guin's mind was on fire. It was searing hot, like flames were devouring every bit of tissue that made up her brain. The blood loss didn't make things any easier. Guin stifled a cry, clenching her free hand into a fist, her knuckles glowing white from the intensity. "You. Tell. Me," Guin wheezed, digging in and using all of her psychic might, as she Uno Reverse'd the attack back at Mystery. It wasn't as intense or powerful as the original, but now Mystery would be the one with her mind aflame.

Her hand was shaking as Guin removed it from her head wound, and she stepped forward, and punched Mystery right in the nose. It was hard for Guin to tell as there was already blood on her hand, but Mystery's nose was bleeding now as the psychopath was sent stumbling backwards. Guin walked forward and punched again, this time knocking Mystery down to the ground.

She hoped the others were having better luck in their fights than she was.

Lavender Haze

Location: Woods (Mary's group)
Skills: Telepathy

Haze was beginning to lose what little interest she had had in this fight. The ginger one was now on their side, despite how fractured and conflicted her mind was. Mystery's fire wall had been doused, but she seemed to be having fun and Haze wasn't worried. Exodus was hardly even trying by Haze's estimation, as he chucked rocks at people. And Quicksilver was clearly not paying much attention either, running straight into things. She sighed slightly. Phantazia and Pyro were dealing with the Asgardian, and Haze privately had her money on the latter rather than the former when it came to success.

But then, a new face entered the fray - well, not so much a new one. It was a face that Haze knew very well. His pale eyes lacked their usual cruelty however, something she noted with slight interest. No one seemed to really be looking to engage her though, so Haze decided she would deal with the newcomer. It had worked so well on the ginger that Haze decided to try it again, attempting to force her way into his mind and turn his heart to their cause, but it didn't work.

Runa Baldurdattir

Location: the Woods (Runa's group)
Skills: Asgardian Magic

It was raining furiously now - Klara's doing, Runa assumed. Of course, not this Klara. This one acted as if she had spent the last decade drinking far too much Asgardian ale and now found her brains scrambled and confused. This Klara swung at her with her sword, a killing blow had Runa not blocked it with Gandr. Klara landed a kick to her stomach though, and Runa let the force send her stumbling backwards as to avoid falling over. "I am Runa, daughter of Baldur and Nanna, granddaughter of Odin and Frigga, and Nepr and the Phoenix, sister of Forseti. I am the goddess of darkness and lies, protector of the lost and broken. I am your blood. And you would do well to remember that, Klara Thordattir."

An explosion then went off - exploding cards precisely - and Runa gathered a few burns on her body. She winced though, seeing what bad shape Annie was in. This fight wasn't going well. Klara and Runa could fight here for decades, but her friends were mortal and easily wounded. Bethany seemed okay though at least. And Lance, as confused as he was, was more worried about her than himself.

"Be brave," Runa warned Lance. She did not feel guilty for what she was about to do, but she did feel sad, knowing that this would be terrifying to him as he was now. She reached out with her magics, whispering a spell, and triggered the transformation of Lance into a Hulk. They needed a monster now who could smash and destroy. They needed the Hulk. Runa then turned her gaze back to Klara, though she spoke to Mage. "As for you, your family would be ashamed of what you have become. You have broken their laws. But it is not too late. You may redeem yourself now, by fighting against these murderers and snakes. Or you may die for their cause by my hand."

Ed Penior

Location: The woods (Mary's group)
Skills: Shield

Ed was tossed. He felt like a sack of potatoes. He groaned a bit. Wishing his sister was there to heal him and the others. But he knew he wouldn't be here if she had lived. Just like the other him, that was somewhere in these woods. His life changed when Thanos destroyed Cardiff.

The good news was it sounded like Quicksilver had finally smashed into one of his walls. If he bubbled him, that would get him out of the way. He looked for Quicksilver and once he spotted him lying on the ground, flicked his hand to bubble him a shield. He couldn't do anything about the fire, but Klara had that handled with the rain.

Mage

Location: The woods (Hellfire Club)(Runa's group)
Skills: Magic

Mage had almost been suffocated. He had been freed and gave a rewarding nod. Mage was about to back down and chose a different tactic. He would let the girl claiming to be from Asgard fight Klara. The pair seemed well-matched. He could deal with someone less magically inclined.

But the girl said something that drew his attention. She had called him by his name. And she had evoked the family laws. He frowned. How much had his counterpart told this group?

"If you know that much, then you know I am the last male. My family dies with me." The girls didn't powers. His sister had been an exception because of her twin status. It also wasn't entirely true. He had a grandfather, and an uncle left. But neither were going to have children again. He was the only male left who could carry on the family gene.

Mage pulled at his magic, preparing his shields. Unsure of what threat would come next, but wanted to be ready for it.
Create a shield to protect Klara if Runa attacks her again. (that's what he has planned, but if he can bubble the Hulk when that happens he'd shift to that)
Things weren't going well for this group at all. Mary was about to send more vines out, when she seemingly stopped, putting a hand to her head. She was currently fighting back against Chrysi (and Haze's mental messing) so she was a bit frozen at the moment, and it was incredibly difficult for her to fight it off, however, she seemed to be able to stop herself, for the moment anyway. Though who knew how long that whole situation might last right now.

"This... Isn't going... Too well..." she managed to say, shaking her head a bit, clearly trying to clear it and get back to actually potentially doing something useful for their side of the conflict. Which was definitely needed with this group in general.

Ed would manage to trap Quicksilver in a bubble, and despite the smart thing to attempt to do being phasing through the bubble, Quicksilver decided to just sit there and start pounding on it a bit. He seemed to be extremely pissed off with regards to the entire situation, and was just trying to take his frustration out on the bubble that he was stuck in.

"Well clearly I missed something?" Pietro said, looking at the chaos that was going on around them currently. He looked at the group that was fighting against him, and thinking of who likely was the best person to currently deal with right now. Of course, his counterpart was currently in a bubble thanks to Ed, and currently unable to get out of it. He found it funny how the speedster wasn't just trying to go right through the bubble, but he thought nothing of it. Pyro was being dealt with by Klara decently well since she was putting the fire out. And Guin seemed to be dealing with Annie's counterpart. That left 3 people. Exodus, Phantazia, and Guin's own counterpart. They were a bit outnumbered at the moment, and out powered. Phantazia could easily disrupt their powers (though it seemed like she was failing at that), Guin's counterpart if he had to guess could mess with people's minds, and Exodus was just insane power wise. They were so horribly screwed with this situation since those are just counting the three people that no one is directly fighting right now. Not helping the situation was the whole instance with Mary's head, considering someone was messing with her mind or something, on top of the psychopath and all.

Pietro shrugged a bit at the whole situation, before he took off running. He managed to slam into Exodus, sending him flying into a tree trunk with a loud crack. That amount of force likely would have seriously injured just about anyone, however this was Exodus, so while it did injure him, he wasn't out of the fight quite yet. "Well this is getting us no where..." he managed to mutter under his breath.

Exodus managed to jump back up and instantly started throwing Pietro around like a ragdoll with his telekinesis, knocking him into trees and various other objects. However, the speedster started to spin around like a tornado to break free, before appearing right next to him and whirling around, managing to catch him in the head with a kick, sending him flying back again, throwing him pretty far at this point, and this time it seemed to have been able to do a bit more damage to him.

"Well, we're running out of things to really do at this point. Perhaps we can do a bit more then?" she commented, before the water started swirling around her. Pyro managed to throw a decent amount of fire at everyone else, and actually managed to slam some into her, throwing her back from the force of the steam that ended up created from her wall of water. "Well isn't that rude now!" she snapped as water started swirling some more, and she shot it straight at Pyro, though it narrowly missed him. And he started to work making the flames bigger in the area to make it more difficult for the group to do anything.

Off in the distance, the group would be able to hear a kind of familiar roar as if the Hulk suddenly decided to make an appearance...

Klara looked at Runa, clearly a bit confused still, and somewhat trying to place what her words were saying exactly. Or well, more of just being confused by her existence. "Wait, no, that's not right, you're a goddess of light. Not darkness... Hold on, that's not right either... Not both, just one or the other... Why does that sound weird..." she ended up saying, lowering her guard seemingly for a moment.

Lance also had no idea what it was that Runa was going on about, or why she had told him what she had. Though he felt a sudden anger build up inside of him, and he looked down at his hand, which was starting to turn a eerie shade of green. "What the hell?" he asked, incredibly confused as the color creeped up his skin as he started to shift.

Well, now maybe things would potentially be a bit more even now with a super strong monster fighting with them right? Hopefully he'd be fighting with them anyway, since it was a bit difficult to control what it was Lance was going to be doing at this point, even when he kind of was able to control shifting, Lance had problems controlling his actions. And considering he had no idea what was going on at this point, this was definitely going to be interesting. If Mage tried to create a shield around him, it didn't last for long, as he ended up smashing right through it.

Annie would find herself fully encased in a dome of darkness, as Nightlock succeeded in covering her entirely. She wouldn't be able to see anything at all, and every sound that was taking place outside of the dome would be incredibly muffled. Making it a bit difficult for her to be able to tell what was going on outside of it. Bethany would partially be able to wrap Rogue's leg, however she'd manage to break the hold that the darkness would have on her ankle, keeping herself freed from it.

Lance ended up ripping up part of the ground, before throwing a rather large chunk of the earth letting out a loud roar as it went flying straight at Mage. It almost hits him, but Rogue ended up managing to get over there quick enough to smash the rubble apart, leaving both of them unharmed. Things seemed to get a little bit more evened out for the group, at least for now. He instantly started breaking the ground, sending more rubble flying everywhere, though it wasn't exactly choosing who it hit.

Some of the rubble just barely missed hitting Bethany, a large piece of the ground just flying right past her head. Rogue managed to break some of the rubble that was heading for her and Mage, while others were dodging. Klara though didn't get out of the way, still somewhat confused by what Runa was saying, and managed to knock her backwards with the force, but she obviously wasn't down for the count still, though she did instinctively fix the circlet on her head that had gone askew and almost knocked off. That definitely was a bit weird.
