Things weren't exactly the best currently, since they were still stuck in the box, and no matter what they could do or tell themselves, it would all seem very real. Carolina would be able to at least somewhat come up with what the problem was. The main thing was that they would have to break Mastermind's focus, considering the fact that they would need to be outside of the illusion to do that.
"Mind prison would be putting it lightly, considering no matter what you tell yourself, it is real to your head and could kill you."
"...Is there a range on it? Since otherwise just "walking through" the wall or illusion might not work out too well..." Lance ended up asking, not entirely sure what to really think about it and all.
Pietro had to think about it, and he shrugged a bit, "Honestly I don't know... But because of that, we might need to figure out a way to deal with it while we're stuck..."
"I mean we could try sending attacks that would technically go through the wall and hope we hit him? Otherwise I'm out of suggestions on this one..." Carolina would think of something else though, that being that Avalanche's powers would effect the entire environment. Sure it would likely effect every other area of the building, but it might be enough to distract Mastermind. Then again, they'd also begin to notice that the walls were getting seemingly closer to them now.
"Right, ok, just have to get through what likely is still a flaming hallway, got it, no problem," she commented, though she understood why she was likely the one going charging in, after all, she was a lot more resilient to everything going on around them, plus she likely could get there faster then either of them. Taking a bit of a deep breath, she instantly charged forward, her feet leaving the ground as she bolted straight for Pyro.
Her scales were glittering in the light, though her shadow very much didn't resemble what she looked like, actually the shadow looked like a full sized dragon, which was a bit weird, and she personally didn't notice it, as she tackled Pyro with her claws. There was a bit of blood on the ground, as she seemingly ripped out his throat, causing him to not move from the ground anymore.
However, this did lead to the next problem of the hallway still being on fire. Aside from just the likely hood of the structural damage it likely was causing, it also meant that Jade and Ed would have a much harder time going through. Raising her hand, Thalia twisted her arm slightly, turning her hand as time seemingly went backwards within the hallway itself. It only had to go back a few minutes, and eventually, aside from a few very faint scorch marks, the hallway looked like it was back to normal.
"Ok... Well, now what?" she asked the other two. There was a bit of blood coming from her eye a little, looked almost like a tear of blood or something like that, she did look a little unsteady on her feet for a brief moment, but she was still standing. Then again she had just used her temporal powers to practically reverse time enough to stabilize the structure from the fire.
Over where Cass was, she would manage to get up close to Wanda in order for her to swing and land a few punches on her. It was enough to knock Wanda backwards and almost caused her to stumble to the ground. Keyword being almost. Wanda's eyes flashed red with both anger and her using her powers, as more rubble and metal started swirling around them. "You need to learn to not fight me," she said to her, before the objects went flying at Cass.
Most of the objects seemed to just sort of bounce off of her. It was the last bit of metal though, all it takes is one lucky shot, and that was what brought Cass down. Despite her powers of the dermal armor, Cass does have a few weak spots, and Wanda had found one. A shard of metal rammed right into Cass' eye, going straight through and into her brain with enough for to kill her instantly.
As for Guin where she was, currently nothing seemed to be going on. She was all alone still.
