Her easy-going and laid back nature is just gone, since now she's more or less trying to mess with what Magneto is doing, with a quiet determination, and she will do it without anyone else if she has to. She'll keep going until she ends up dead.

Life Since the Reality Split: She blames herself for them failing, they had needed to be faster to stop Magneto, and because of that one minute difference, they lost. Mary is very different in this reality, she is far more willing to kill people (as shown when she killed Cecily immediately after the virus was released) as well as the full capabilities of her powers and to their full strength. She goes off on her own at times, and has ended up killing a few more people who fought for Magneto. Currently, she's trying to fix things, to prevent what happened from happening elsewhere, and to try and make up for her mistakes, for what happened in the city. So many people were dead, and in her mind it was all her fault. Now she'll do just about anything to try and make up for what happened.

Personality: Before everything went to hell, Guin would've described herself as a genius disaster bi. Now, she really does put the disaster in disaster bi. She is still impulsive, headstrong, quick witted, and sarcastic. But her grief, guilt, and survivor complex have created a lot of darkness inside of her. She doesn't care about saving the people of the world or those in New York. She just wants revenge for Magneto killing her family. She wants to make him suffer and bleed.

Life Since the Reality Split: Due to their failure to stop Magneto - her second mission, her second failure - Guin lost her family. Her father, Pepper, most of the Avengers, Happy - they all died. Guin was spared only because of an X-gene that decided to express itself at the last minute. She hated herself for it. She blames herself for the death of her family. SHIELD assumed that she was dead and she had nowhere else to go, so she stayed with the X-Men, driven by her rage towards Magneto. She tried to push everyone away early on, but she was fortunate enough to have good friends (and a nice boyfriend) to keep her from self sabotaging too much. The X-Men helped her learn about her powers, giving her enough control that an accidental touch won't trigger a switch. She doesn't know what she'll do after Magneto is killed.

Personality: Ed has lived a fairly straightforward life. He knew what his destiny was. He is, however, a product of his upbringing. This made him conceited. He has rarely failed at anything he put his mind to. Since he comes from a very structured family he does well in groups and taking orders, even if he doesn't entirely agree with those orders.

Ed is fairly understanding of other people and their ways. He knows his family isn't the right answer, but it is so encoded in who he is he never expected to be able to break one of the laws. Since he has done this now he figures the rest of the laws don't matter, he is already a dead man to his family.

Ed is determined to help people as much as he can, however, he can. In a way, he considers this his penance for breaking the laws of his family.

Since then he has been doing what he could to help people, but the loss of his sister and the breaking of the family law has broken Ed. He can never go home again. If he were to one of his family would likely execute him.

Tracking

• Type: Sympathetic
• Description: With a short incantation, and required components, this will unerringly point in the direction of the target.
• Notes: Requires some hair, blood, nail, or an item of particular importance. Works best if said item was worn consistently (i.e. wedding ring). As well as a focus, usually a compass. However, if the focus is hair, then you'd shave the head of the target and this would block the spell from connecting.

• Description: This is a ritual spell and takes a few minutes to cast. With a piece of hair or another such item from the injured person(s) this spell will help speed natural healing and if done with enough power can heal deadly wounds. After his sister's death, Ed found himself needing to use this a lot and has gotten really good with it. He can heal faster and more completely.

• Type: Thamaturgy
• Description: This is the slight of hand spell. It is a basic spell, but can be used for many small things.
• Notes: No components are needed for this spell, but the intent behind the incantation is what matters. If you lose focus while casting this it will fail. This is a basic spell, that Ed knows really well, it is one of his bread and butter spells.

• Description: A protective force appears where designated.
• Notes: A tiny shield is required for components. Ed has played around a lot with the shaping of this. He can create a half-dome shield or complete circles around people. Once created he can manipulate it more. This is what he used to kill the person who killed his sister, by making the shield inside them and then expanding it.

Personality: Cassandra was once a happy person, working for SHIELD but ever since Magneto had won and taken over New York City she's more of a shadow of her former self. She feels like she is partly to blame for what had happened, if she had powers or abilities at the time she could have prevented it from happening probably. She'll still try and be as helpful as possible for the others who are trapped inside of the city. She is fiercely protective over her younger sister Carolina and would do just about anything to make sure that she is safe, she's is willing to help and give advice if anyone asks for it as well to.

Life Since the Reality Split: The moment the vial that Cecily had broke containing the virus that could kill every human in the city was the moment her life changed forever. Luckily her X-Gene was able to manifest just in time, though at first she didn't know what exactly she had. One day she was working on fixing something for the group, she was using some power drill when she lost her grip on it. What would have injured someone enough to send them to a hospital the drill bit hit her skin it ended up breaking it instead of her skin finding out that it was dermal armor she had.

She along with the remaining X-Men were all trapped inside of the city itself, SHIELD presumed her along with Guin to be dead due to Magneto's attack. Having nowhere else to really go Cass decided to stay with the X-Men still blaming herself for failing the city, and doing whatever she can to help Mary and the others try and take back the city or be a pain in the ass to Magneto's plans.

Personality: Lance even before everything was a bit withdrawn, prone to anger at times, and for the most part, he's still like that. He cares about Guin and worries about her since she lost everyone, and by most standards he still had his father around (it was more than a little bit complicated). He doesn't really know the group too much, but he's willing to help and try and do the right thing, since he's not sure what he'd do otherwise with what's been going on in the city.

Life Since the Reality Split: Lance, unlike most of the others with the X-Men group, had been at Stark Tower in the lab when the virus got released. He didn't realize anything was wrong until he heard a commotion going on, as people around him started collapsing like flies. People started collapsing and he started trying to figure out what was happening as several Avengers started experiencing weird symptoms that he didn't know what was causing it. Thor was the only one with him who was unaffected by everything, and they were trying to figure everything out. When people started dying, that's when things really hit him the worst. They all were dying, and Lance had no idea what to do, so he went to do the best thing and that was at least try and make it so that people weren't on the ground and were at least comfortable. His father was the last one of those who had been infected. And right before he would have died from the virus, he suddenly shifted into the Hulk. Lance was a little worried about that, but then he was startled to hear his own father's voice talking to him, as opposed to the more childlike anger of the Hulk. Further figuring it out, they realized that the Hulk had once again saved Banner, but unlike last time, it was where if he shifted back he'd die. The trio ended up trying to find any other heroes still in the city, and they ended up running into the Thing (Ben Grimm) of the Fantastic Four, his rock like powers had protected him from it, and eventually they ended up joining up with the X-Men. And Guin, and Lance was the one who had to tell her what had happened to her family at Stark Tower. Now he's determined to help the X-Men, and he's hoping they can stop Magneto and get some closure and revenge for everyone who had died.

Personality: Carolina is still a loving and caring individual and would do just about anything for those that she considers her family. However she is still sad about everything that has happened during the virus getting out into the city, the only family she has left is the team and her sister Cassandra. Which she'll do whatever she can as well to protect them and Cass, she just wished that she was stronger and more powerful to help out as well to fight against Magneto and the Brotherhood. She tries to make the others happy anyway that she can think of as well to try and lighten the mood with the team.

Carolina was surprised that Cassandra couldn't get in contact with SHIELD and then finding out that they had presumed her to be dead. She has been doing her best to try and make the others as happy as they can even though things seem very bleak right now.

Personality: Jade covers up her intense inner pain and trauma through aggressive comments, sarcastic remarks, and an unhealthy amount of alcohol. She believes that she's better than everyone else, that she's cleverer than everyone else, and being the person to kill the Devil didn't help to reduce her ego. She's even dating the head of the world's foremost intelligence organization, O.M.E.N. But beneath all of her crap and bullshit, she really does care about helping other people - she just has a funny way of showing it.

Personality: Thalia typically is a more caring person than she might seem. She tends to try and put the needs of others above her own, and she'll do whatever it takes to help out if need be. Her personality has mellowed out over the past few years, no longer being the girl who flirted with most people and cared only about her looks. Now she's a lot more of a fighter, and she's been doing all she could to gain more knowledge in everything, particularly how the world seems to work nowadays. Sometimes that old arrogance resurfaces, but she typically is able to keep it under control and too herself. Occasionally, the more monstrous side of what she was came to light, but she was fairly good at keeping that part of her personality hidden, only having it pop up with regards to her temper. Or if she used her powers too much.

Life Since the Reality Split: Thalia had been living more or less off the grid, using fake names and creating a whole new identity for herself following what happened in Coventry. Partially to protect not only herself from people learning the truth of what exactly she was, but also to protect others from what might happen if she lost control and more or less gave into the monster instincts that resided within her. Over the past few years, she gained a better understanding of who, or really what, she was, and could easily keep all of that at bay, but she kept to herself for the most part. When she heard what had happened in New York though, she knew that she couldn't just stand by and watch what was happening in the world. Especially considering how many people had died. Even though she didn't typically see eye to eye with OMEN, or any other government agency for that matter, she wasn't going to just stand by and do nothing. Thalia headed towards New York, eventually meeting up with everyone there to try and figure out how to stop Magneto. The fact that she technically wasn't classified as a human anymore definitely was a perk for going into a city that had all humans completely eradicated from it.
