"When you do this for long enough, most things don't really surprise you anymore" Full Name: Elias Ricard Thornton
Age: 52
Appearance: Elias' appearance is fairly similar to the photo that was presented before. He is a relatively tall individual, light skin, black hair that's just well kept enough to inform you that he takes care of it without going so far as to apply hair gel. There is a scar by his right eye from an accident that he doesn't talk about. He's comfortable dressing formal, though his clothes are relatively worn in their quality rather than sharp pressed. But they're comfortable, and isn't that what really matters?
Worldview (Personality): Elias is a fairly calm person, taking things at a steady pace that allows for one to work without being overly stressed. He has a keen eye for detail, but isn't overbearing when it comes to the efforts of his colleagues. He's pretty good at what he does but isn't overly proud of it, and that experience has led him to realize that some things should be taken at their own pace and appreciated, rather than always being focused on the result or the next task.
Position: Research & Development
Magic: Where Elias excels is the creation of potions. With the proper ingredients he can make substances that can boost the abilities of the user, or toxic brews which harm his enemies. If these ingredients are of higher quality then he can make more potent concoctions. These can be ingested or distributed across an area via an aerosol.
Resume (Background): The eldest of three siblings, Elias apparently worked as a teacher when he was young. It was during an accident that he refuses to talk about that he gained the scar above his eye, which also made him aware of the magical world. He put that dedication to learning to the task of unraveling the secrets of magic, though he didn't get very far into the direct arcane and deep secrets of the universe.
During the course of these efforts he came to the attention of MagiCorp. These experiments were not cheap after all, and it was hard carrying out those studies on a teacher's salary. Rather than resorting to a life of crime, this seemed like a better alternative for everyone involved.
Other Junk (Misc.): He makes a very good coffee
