Haylen had managed to get roughly a hundred dollars into his hands before he was caught red handed. A kid, by the looks of it. She didn't seem like much to him, but his human eye flicked up to her like a scavenging animal confronted by a predator. This incident could very well have been an isolated one, since Haylen hadn't blown his cover in the slightest recently. Internally, Haylen was already thinking heavily about what to do, the machine in his mind running through his thoughts at a speed most ordinary humans could not achieve. He was on the far side away from the entrance, so if he had to, he could slip into-

All of that went out the proverbial window when the girl snapped her fingers to pull out a hundred dollar bill. Magic. There was no sleight involved, she quite literally pulled it out of thin air, and she offered it to him. It read like a trap, but there wasn't much to be taken from this cash register. If Haylen followed, on of two things would happen. Either nothing, or he'd be taken out. It was a risk, but he could handle her, probably. When she walked off, Haylen followed, flexing his grip around something in his jacket pocket tensely. It wasn't a machine he could control, but it would help if she tried to make some sort of move.

With Asa following, that made three. Well, the more, the merrier. The gang made their way into the park and were instantly hit by the smells of the food and the blaring lights and sounds of the rides and other attractions. To be honest, she had never actually been in side of a theme park. Coming from a small to of four to five hundred people, there wasn't much need for one. All they had in her town were carnivals and fairs, so this was something kind of new to her, yet still the same, minus the petting zoos and pig contests. This was actually better than the fairs and there was so much more to do, she didn't know if they could fit it all into one night. Her attention was caught by a ride Thuly excitedly pointed out, the upside down roller-coaster she called it.

Before she could say anything, her stomach instantly churned at the sight of it. She gagged silently as the coaster flipped directions "yeah, that's some...ride" she forced the last word with a second gag as she stood there watching and hid her sickly face from Thuly as best she could. Audrey didn't have motion sickness, but just looking at that machine was enough to give it to her. She prayed this wasn't the first ride Thuly wanted to go on, she would still ride it, but hopefully they could do something else first.

Thank goodness they hadn't eaten yet. She couldn't bare the thought of embarrassing herself by showing everyone what she had for dinner. "What else do you see Thules?" She tried to steer her excited friend away from the coaster, but, something told her she'd be hugging the trashcan by the ride in a few minutes.

THULILE

A shout - “I’m coming as well!” - suddenly followed them. Thulile swerved herself and Audrey around. Thuly was relieved and pleased to see Asa running after them. She liked Asa. ‘He’s nice’, she thought, ‘and he always smells really good!’ Glad to have another partner in crime, Thuly waved at the young man. “ASAAA… yes do! Come on!”

As the bubbly, blue Asa joined Audrey and Thulile, they tried to make a choice. With so many rides and bites surrounding them Thuly felt completely overwhelmed.

Being in close contact with her own feelings, she sensed that both Audrey and Asa weren’t overly enthusiastic to get into a roller coaster. Seeing the thing go upside down, did make Thuly queasy. Then Audrey asked her what else she saw.

“Maybe we should start with something simple, no?”, she suggested to her companions. “And after that, some funnel cake!” Giggling she towed Audrey and Asa to a nearby attraction.

Matilda Armstrong

"Did you return the money?" Matilda inquired, half-asking and half demanding as she turned to glare at the stranger. It was her strongest attempt to put on a brave face. "And can you take off your sunglasses and hat? Security can mistake you for a drug dealer or worse!"

With a huff, Matilda held out her hand that still held the $100 bill for Haylen. "Don't ask how I got I did this and I won't tell the owners of your lackluster attempt of a robbery, understand?"

Lucile “Lucy” O’Connor

Lucy didn't seem to notice them discussing where they would be living. At most, she thought they would be living in the truck. While she was hitchhiking, she would be sleeping underneath trees or breaking into cars to sleep in. She seemed more concerned with having a good time. Walking over toward a shooting range, she picked up the gun. Feeling the weight of the BB gun in her hand. Noticing that the ridicule was misaligned, obviously making it easier for the owner to scam people.

She took into account where she was standing, and the position of the target in front of her. Using mathematics and probability to make the shot. Pulling the trigger, she was able to shoot all of the targets. Picking out the large pink elephant, and hugging it softly before walking away. The man behind the counter was glaring at Lucy.

Noticing Audrey, Asa and Thulie walking around. "Hello. Look what I won." She said proudly showing off the pink elephant she won.

"Whoa, slow down Thuly, the park's not going anywhere." Amused by Thulile's enthusiasm, she couldn't help but laugh. Being around her was like having a younger sibling again. "We'll have plenty of time to do everything" she gave a second glance at the roller coaster as her stomach soured at the thought. "Well, mostly everything." Before they could reach the attraction the smaller girl was leading the towards, they were greeted by a familiar face.

One that hadn't been traveling with them long, but was easily recognizable even in a crowd. "Oh, well, looks like we know who to go when we need prizes, good job Lucy."

Of course he didn't return the money. That would be stupid.

Haylen followed the kid until they got to a secluded place, only to be questioned about the things he wore. She didn't seem much like a government bloodhound, and judging by how she seemed to just materialize money out of thin air, they had something in common. Haylen relented, and pulled the sunglasses off. His right eye was unassuming, a pale green. The left, however, wasn't the kind of thing a human being should have.

Where Haylen's left eye should have been was nothing more than a pink sphere in the shape of an eye where white should have been. There was something resembling an old surgical scar running horizontally across the strange eye, and Matilda might have felt it was actually watching her like a real eye.

"You're doing that with magic." He said flatly, less of an accusation and more to convey he understood it.

The young girl looked quite excited that someone said that to her. Usually being told a good job would not be a big deal, but she had never had any kind of praise in her life. “Thank you, Miss Audrey. I was thinking does anyone want to join me on the ferris wheel?” He said pointing towards the Ferris wheel in the distance. Her stomach was grumbling, she looked down at her rumbling stomach. “Or maybe I should eat something beforehand.” Admittedly she has not eaten much since her escape. But she had no money to pay much.

Does anyone have any money? I would like to purchase some food. I’ll pay you back.” She asked, her eyes moving over towards Matilda. Already reading her mind, and figuring out what her powers were. She may be oblivious to the world around her, but she was not as dull as she looked.

"It's not magic." Matilda quickly shook her head, "Anything but magic. It's -"

She lost her train of thought when she saw Haylen unveil himself. His appearance was anything but normal. A gross mockery of the mundane face with his scar and mismatched eyes. He scared her as Matilda made half a step away from him. Yet, she still quickly shoved the $100 into his hand as if the bill was cursed.

"You're like me? Both with powers?" she stuttered, "That-wait...you hear that?"

Hearing Lucy's voice inside her mind, Matilda looked around hastily before making eye contact with the telepath. "How much do you need?" The brunette thought, hoping it wasn't a coincidence.

She thought for a second of how much she would want to spend. She didn't want to go overboard and raise any suspicions. However she did want a good time."Does fifty dollars sound good? Or is that too much? Again I can pay ya back,I'm not gonna be a dick and not repay ya." A nice sentiment, but Lucy knew money was not an issue for Matilda.

"I'm with Miss Audrey near the rollercoasters. If you want to meet us there, when you're finished with whatever your doing currently. No rush of course."

Bai Yue

Bai yue had discovered the park wasn't a good target for money many people using credit cards, debit cards, an little cash so had altered her target to a group of young men who were in a gang and seemed to have cash spilling out of their pockets. Not her first time stalking a gang she enjoyed the game a bit thinking how the family needed transport and these men would soon provide the cash.
They were easy to follow disguised as a bird by her illusions and ability to fly. She was stunned how openly they talked business spilling more information than she could hope for even giving her leads on the locations of other gangs they either were aligned with or at war with, all of which she used to make a picture she planned on exploiting
