To begin, digest only that information you need to know for your class/race. That alone should be a wealth of information.

Also, I find that homebrewed settings are easier to join than the actual DnD settings. Less info to digest, usually.

I am nice 99% of the time. I have been mean a few times but afterward I feel like crap. this was about me talking to someone for nine years almost and found out a few things were just said to be said

@Kuro@HaleyTheRandom As it turns out, my 16-year-old son has asked me to put together a DnD campaign. I told him and his friends I could have it ready in a year. They are currently working on a campaign which will probably run through to October or November. THey play once a week for about three or four hours. I should be able to get it ready by then.

So far, I have a map; it is an island campaign. The map is not labeled yet. The Island setting contains sixteen major islands and several smaller scattered islands. They will need to purchase passage on a local ship to get from one to the other, until they unlock a portal system I am devising. But they will need to battle waves of undead to get that far.

The sixteen islands are inhabited by three human nations including Dwarves and Tieflings, an Elven nation, a Drow nation, a Dragonborn nation, a Hobgoblin nation, and an island of the undead.

The last time I played DnD was before I was married in 2002. WE used ver. 3.5 I need to look over ver 5 for this one.

I enjoy fresh tomatoes, any kind on pizza, ketchup, tomato sauce, and salsa.
But I dislike canned tomatoes, tomato soup, tomato juice, and "day-after" tomatoes (leftover fresh slices stored in the fridge for another day).

Been trying this Brown Sugar Cinnamon Poptart creamer with my coffee. If you want to try it, you can find it at, like, Walmart or wherever probably. Walmart is where we got it for ourselves, so it's probably there.

It's odd, but I think it has a better flavor with iced cold brew rather than used in a hot cup of coffee. Granted, it could be the different coffee & the type of roast, but for some reason it feels much sweeter with iced coldbrew. With hot coffee, it's kind of just your average creamer, not much there to discuss.
