Where they were going she still wasn't exactly a hundred percent sure on. Though once they got out and she saw the ledge, she had a bit of a better idea on where they'd be going. Of course apparently her father decided to make the comment about being afraid of heights. Rosalia could barely conceal a small bit of laughter, considering the irony in that statement. Especially considering he was a thief, and her mother's most famous thing was literally a giant tower that you had to climb up the side of to get into.

"Yeah, I'd say it's a bit late or that," she said towards him, as the group started making their way along the ledge. She personally wasn't too worried about getting across. After all, in order to be a decent thief you kind of needed to have a good sense of balance and to be light on your feet, so it only took her a short amount of time to get to the other side as they headed onwards from there. Rosalia glanced backwards waiting for the others to get across or something.

"Oh totally, I figured it wouldn't kill him from what I've gathered that sort of thing is kind of difficult to do anyway, but glad to hear that it hasn't seemingly healed. As stated before, he deserved it," he said with a bit of a laugh. Might as well find some amusement in the whole situation. Considering he knew that his father was fairly powerful and could easily cause more problems for all of them if he caught up to them. That wouldn't exactly end well for them from what he knew.

Jack's attention turned towards Willow as she asked what else they did, and he had to think about it for a moment, "Well, I mean the biggest thing was obviously the blowing up a bunch of boats and going to an underwater city. Other things that happened um... Oh, we found my mother, who apparently is Belle which was a bit on the surprising side to say the least considering who my father is. But other then that not a whole lot aside from what's already been said."

Rose guessed that the woman might be Snow White, but she couldn't be certain. Not without asking or having Merlin there. She hadn't heard anything about Snow White yet. She crossed over joining Cassi on the other side.

"I'm proud of you hun." She said kneeling beside her. She let Cassi catch her breath. But was there ready to help her up when she was ready.

"Cool thank you." Colby told Rapunzel. He marked the page and turned to follow the men. He didn't know any of their names. "Uh, hey. I'm Colby and this is Maddie." He said with a grin.

"Thanks for letting us join." He did not want to be cooped up here any longer. An hour would be nice to get away from the tower for a bit. He suspected that the whole group would be gathered by the time they got back.

As the pair marched along behind the soldiers, Maddie simply took in the sights. Listening in as Colby introduced them to the guards, even though the guards themselves hadn’t done so. There was a nervous sort of excitement bubbling up inside of him with every step they took away from the castle. This was somehow different from Agrabah, aside from the verdant landscape and cool climate, it had a different sense of danger. While Jafar wasn’t lurking around every corner, the further they stepped away from the tower the further they were from any real safety. It was as if Maleficent’s presence was in every shadow cast by the trees, every twig snapped under foot, and every chitter he heard off into the distance.

He pressed forward, staying close to Colby as his eyes continued to look around, searching both for the herbs needed as well as for any signs of the dragoness. ”So, what exactly are we looking for out here? Well aside from the herbs Rapunzel asked us to get. Is this just a patrol? Are we gathering stock? Just…a leisurely stroll?” For a split moment Maddie had wondered if these were even actually their guards, or if they were spies sent from Maleficents Castle to lure away the children so they could take them out one by one.

Belle had came down the flight of stairs, her hair wet and everything by the looks of it she had taken a long needed bath as she looked over at Jack talking with Sierra and Willow, she grabbed herself a plate of food and went over to join them. "How are things?" She asked looking over at Jack giving him a smile, as he mentioned her name and then reached over to extend her hand out to the two of them. "It's nice to meet you." Belle said to the two of them as Sierra looked at the woman and smiled at her. "This is Willow." Sierra said as she introduced her, seeing Willow playing with her hair was kind of cute, the door would open and both King Arthur and Queen Guinevere left the bedroom that Lancelot was in..

Outside as the group started to go further away from Rapunzel's Tower and more into the woods, Robin Hood's men looked at Colby asking what they were doing out here. "Hunting, and patrol right now supplies are pretty low since we had to pack up and leave camp pretty quickly last night." One of them answered Maddie's question, if either of the boys looked nearby there was a bunch of flowers and other plants maybe they were the ones that they were looking for that Rapunzel had requested.

Layla watched as the others started to slowly cross the ledge and luckily everyone had made it across without much of an issue, when she heard a voice in the distance. "Well that wasn't all that bad really." Flynn said sighing slightly as he looked over at his daughter daughter laughing slightly. "Falling kind of sucks honestly." Flynn said to Rosalia shaking his head slightly while giving her a slight smile. The mysterious woman had made it across safely as well to luckily.

"Fire!" She could see in the distance were some archers both over the walls nearby on Maleficent's castle, and the hole that they had escape from across the gap. Several arrows were flying and started to land nearby the group as they landed onto the ground nearby. "We need to keep going." Layla said as she went over to help her sister back up to her feet, and started to move forward and back into the woods luckily the tree cover was blocking the archer's view of them. They needed to cover as much ground as possible Layla had a feeling that the men would be following them.

Megan chaffed slightly at all of the talk of her parents potentially finding her a spouse. It had gone on too long. She was no longer comfortable with the subject. Thankfully though, it turned out to be time to change Lancelot's dressings. The King and Queen vacated the room, whereas Megan was offered the chance to stay and help if she liked. While she was a medical examiner, Megan had gone to medical school and became a doctor. She was somewhat curious to see the medical practices Rapunzel would employ. And Megan somewhat darkly thought she might be able to prevent a life threatening infection if they turned out to be subpar.

"I can stay and help. I'm no stranger to blood and pain," Megan said. She never had been the type to shy away from those sort of things. She had been the only one in class excited for dissection day as a kid - and one of only three in her medical school cohort who already knew that they wanted to work with the death more than the living.

Cassiopeia opened up her eyes to see Rose and smiled tiredly. ”Thank you,” she said searched for Rose’s hand to squeeze. An arrow landed on the ground beside them, followed by several more. Cassi groaned, looking towards the castle where archers lined the wall. Layla started tugging on her, and Cass sighed as she accepted help from both women in her life. She leaned most of her weight on them while they limped into the tree line.
Cass started to feel frustrated with her injury. She was slowing them down. She didn’t want to say outright for them to leave her. The idea of being left alone terrified her, but Cassi felt terrible for needing to be looked after in this way. At least she still had the backpack with the laptop safely inside.

Willow’s eyes widened at Jack’s parental news. Her brain worked a million miles a second as she recalled the Disney movie and her psychology studies. She didn’t know Jack well, but it explained some of his outward personality. Then, Belle came over to them. Willow’s eyes widened as she stared at another actual princess. She blushed when Belle held her hand out.
Willow hesitated, caught between wanting to bow and shake Belle’s hand. It didn’t help that she was gorgeous. Wait, what?
”Hi…hi,” she stammered. ”It’s an honour to meet you.” Willow shook Belle’s hand before clasping her hands together.

Rose let Cassi lean into her as much as she needed. Trying to get them into the tree line as quickly as possible. With Cassi, she couldn't fire back at the archers. But hopefully, they could get far enough away that the arrows couldn't hit them.

"Hood! We've got to get out here faster." Rose couldn't carry Cassi. She felt incredibly useless even though she knew she wasn't at the moment. Her own wound had long been forgotten. Rapunzel would probably need to check it again when they got back. Or maybe being here in this place she healed faster. Rose didn't know. But she did know there was a sense of urgency.

"We can't lead them to the base." She added in a hiss. Cassi needed to be taken directly there, as well as the laptop. But the risk was too great to go straight there.

"We'll try not to mess with your hunting then." Colby could be stealthy when needed. But he had never hunted. He opened the book and gazed around trying to look for any of the plants Rapunzel had wanted.

He did spot the flowers. Colby knelt beside them comparing them to the photo. He was about to pluck them when he realized there were too many leaves. The plant in the book listed four to a stem, but the one in front of him had six. He wondered what plant this was, but it wasn't what Rapunzel was looking for.

"Well yeah falling would suck, but I just find it ironic that you don't like heights when one of the most famous things around here that is also kind of associated with you and my mother is a really really tall tower. Like it is kind of a thing," she said towards him with a shrug. It was kind of funny to her that he also was a thief and was worried about falling when usually having a decent sense of balance for those quick getaways or going through windows on ledges was kind of a thing.

"I also never plan on falling, heights aren't that bad though," she added, as her attention turned towards what else was going on around them at this point now. Namely they were still being chased and attacked by Maleficent's men, who were now currently shooting arrows at them. Why couldn't they just give up or something at this point now, but they really needed to keep moving, they really needed to not lead them anywhere else though, and they were probably just going to keep following or something.

He actually hadn't been expecting Belle to show up within a few moments of her name being mentioned, but it was kind of ironic that the instant he mentioned her she popped up. Almost like magic or something really, however he found it slightly amusing to see Willow at a loss for words or something over the whole situation. Though he didn't say anything about that, choosing instead to answer the question that Belle had more or less asked.

"Oh, you know, just hanging around, waiting or something at this point for the others to get back here, since that's about all we can do," he said to her with a shrug, before turning his attention towards the other two. He did wonder how things would go once everyone got back there. Especially considering there wasn't even a plan or anything in place, everything seemed to be betting that the others would even get back to the tower.

Maddie quirked an eyebrow at Colby as he mentioned he wouldn't mess with their hunting. A part of him wondered if that wasn't the whole reason why they were there in the first place, and then he realized neither he nor Colby had ever hunted before. Sure they'd watched their cats hunt their vicious prey of red dots and reflective lights as the sun went down back home, but neither of them had actually needed to track and capture an animal before. Maddie had seen plenty of movies where one wrong step would alert the animal and ruin the hunt for everyone, and now he was hoping that wouldn't be him.

They continued forward, walking past a patch of wild flowers, all huddled together like something out of a fairy tale. While Colby studied the flowers, comparing back and forth from the book to the real thing, Maddie crouched off to the side of him, pulling out an old moleskin journal he had full of sketches he'd done back in the real world. He hadn't had a chance to snag any of Agrabah, but things were calmer here. So he began to sketch out the flowers, drawing illustrations of them and their parts as he studied them between glances from his sketchbook. "You said you had to pack up quickly last night. What happened?" He asked the guards as his attention remained transfixed upon his book.

Rapunzel looked at Megan and smiled she was glad that she decided to stay behind and help with cleaning Lancelot's wounds, she went over towards the nearby dresser where she had set some supplies aside. "Thank you for the help." Rapunzel said, she was more or less the only doctor in Robin Hood's little band of outlaws and whatnot. Inside the basket there was some bandages and a few jars of what looked like some kind of ointment as well as a sewing kit. "Please sit up." Rapunzel said to Lancelot as he nodded groaning slightly as she held him with one arm she started to slowly remove the bandages that were wrapped around Lancelot's stomach tightly. The wound had been sewed up and looked pretty good, however the wound looked like it was pretty infected as she looked at Megan gesturing towards one of the jars of ointment. "If you could apply that to the area." She asked Megan.

Outside in the main room of the tower Belle gave Willow a friendly smile as she held out her hand towards her and returned the handshake. "It's nice to meet you as well to." Belle said, she listened to Jack as he answered her question and nodded towards him things were pretty quiet which she thought was a little bit odd. But then again a little bit of quiet was also nice for once as well to before the next day which would be the final battle with Maleficent and her forces. "So what can you guys tell me about where you all grew up?" Belle asked as she looked at the three of them Sierra smiled slightly as she thought a little bit. "Well we don't have any magic there like you do here." Sierra said as she gently wrapped an arm around Willow looking at her friend.

One of Robin Hood's men decided to stay behind with Colby and Maddie as he looked around the area just in case something or someone decided to jump and attack them. His attention turned towards Maddie asking what had happened last night letting out a slight sigh as he leaned up against a tree. "We were attacked by Maleficent's men, they did try and capture some of you young people but they failed. We decided to pack up camp and find another place to hide when we came across the tower." They answered, Maddie and Colby could hear what sounded like a twig snapping and not to far from them was an adult black bear further away, they would be able to see some of the plants that they needed for Rapunzel easily.

Layla looked at her sister and smiled slightly. "When we get back we'll get you all patched up as quickly as possible sis." She said to her sister, hoping that they'll be able to make it out of here. She looked at her father when Cassi mentioned that they needed to get away from here and as quickly as possible. More arrows started to fly, luckily though they didn't have modern day guns they were defintely more accurate than the arrows were. Luckily the group weren't getting hit by them. Robin Hood nodded at Cassi as he managed to find some thick brush nearby for the group to hide under. "Give me a moment i'll look for something." Robin said to the group.

"Falling kinda sucks if you end up getting injured or dying from a really tall height, ended up with a few bad sprains and broken ankles a few times in the past." Flynn said to Rosalia as his eyes scanned the area with Robin Hood, and found what looked like a supply wagon of sorts probably food for Maleficent's men in the castle it had a few guards there. The horses were unhitched and were grazing at some grass at the moment. But the wagon was large enough for them to get away from as Flynn looked at them. "There's a supply wagon we can use to get out of here." Layla said as she looked at everyone else. "Should we use that or continue on foot?" Layla asked them.

Megan examined Lancelot's wound with a critical eye, yet she did not need her medical degree to tell her that the wound was infected. If the infection was not cleared, it could spread to the blood. The resulting blood poisoning would prove to be fatal and Lancelot would die. Her thoughts strayed to the state of medicine in the world she had grown up from - just a few centuries ago and there would've been nothing they could do for him. Stomach wounds were dangerous that way. Had the wound been on a limb, they could amputate it. In this case though, the wound had to heal - more importantly, the infection had to clear.

"Do you preferentially amputate here, in lieu of clearing infection?" Megan asked Rapunzel. While she had been here until she was about ten years old or so, she hadn't learned the medicinal practices of this world. She took up the jar of ointment Rapunzel had indicated, noting that it seemed to be prescribed of various herbs - some of which she recognized as having been used on Earth, others that were foreign to her. From what she recalled of the herbs she knew, she was fairly confident this would clear the infection.

Not that Lancelot really had any other options. They couldn't amputate here. A beheading would be more practical. Megan set herself to work, cleaning the area and reapplying the ointment. She gave Lancelot a generous amount. She wished she had some sort of antibiotic to give him. The ointment she thought should work, but it still made her feel uncertain.

Even though Cassiopeia wasn’t contributing much, she was still out of breath when they stopped behind a bush. She flinched a little when Rose shouted for her father. Hood was her last name too, but it sounded like she was the one getting yelled at. Luckily, they spotted a supply wagon.
”I say we go for the wagon. It will make it much faster for us to get where we need to go. Maybe once we are close enough, we can ditch the wagon and make it the rest of the way on foot to disguise our tracks.”

Belle had a brilliant smile; it was utterly mesmerising. Willow felt herself come back into her own when she felt pressure around her shoulders. She looked over to see Sierra had put her arm around her. She felt herself wanting to lean against Sierra and stare at her for the rest of time. Sierra spoke, then looked at Willow. Willow’s heart thumped, creating a rising heat up her neck. She turned her head quickly, glancing at the ground before looking at Belle.
”Our world has 'fairy-tales'. They mention all of you, but they are merely stories. And it's cleaner there,” she confessed. ”I’m definitely not one to be found camping. More of a five-star resort person.”

"Sorry." Rose said softly to Cassi. She nodded about the cart. Even a horse from it would be helpful. "How do we want to do this?" Of the group, most were non-combatants. Rose could respect that. But she also thought it was suicidal in their current situation.

She looked at Robin Hood. She wanted to say something bitting but held it back. "We might be able to do it without killing any of them if we are quick and quiet." She didn't really think that was a good idea. If they knocked the guards out they would wake up and go get reinforcements. That raised the chance of them being found.

Colby was glad they had missed whatever adventure that had been. Going to Agrabah had been enough for him. He honestly wasn't in this for the adventure. He wanted to find a place he belonged. The adventure was interesting and all. But it was becoming real, and that was scary.

What is also scary are bears.

Colby wouldn't have listed bears as something he was afraid of. But he wasn't an idiot. You did not mess with bears.

"So uh. There are some of Rapunzel's plants over there. But I'm going to be real. I do not want to approach a bear. So let's just get away from here."

"Well if you fall from high enough you don't have anything to really worry about now do you? Honestly at a tall enough height the death probably would be quicker then being stabbed or something like that," she responded with a shrug. Of course she personally wouldn't want to go splat on the ground, but personally it was probably worse and more painful to just slowly bleed out and hope that death decides to come along to help you out or something.

Rosalia followed along after the others as they hurried along in hopes that they didn't get caught or anything like that again. Since they seemed to always be in the run. Not that she was complaining, it was essentially something that she was used to. However when others started leaning towards the idea of using the wagon to get away, once again Rosalia disagreed with that idea. "Problem with that is it is bigger, probably noisier, and a much bigger target for them to potentially hit us or something." she pointed out, but why was she saying anything, since odds were they were going to ignore her suggestion anyway, "Since usually when you want to make a getaway, sometimes speed isn't the best option if you are in something that can be caught up to easily by anyone on horseback. Plus getting the horses hooked back up to it will take too long..."

"Yeah, no magic except for sleight of hand tricks that people do to entertain others with, that sort of thing. No actual magic or anything," Jack added with a bit of a shrug, he was thinking of how best to describe the big differences between the two worlds or anything. Willow was mentioning the whole situation with regards to the fairy tales that exist in their world, before she went about mentioning the whole thing about it being cleaner there. Personally he wouldn't call it that, pollution and all was a very real thing.

"I wouldn't call it cleaner, definitely not that. More populated in areas seems to be a better term I'd use for it. As for the fairy tales that all of you are more or less mentioned in, well not necessarily fairy tales since some others here are from more legends and all, like King Arthur and all are from that sort of thing instead. Just in general it is stories and all you all are from at least from where we grew up..." he added to what Willow had said about the whole thing currently. He wasn't sure what else to add at the moment.

Maddie frowned as he listened to what the guard was saying. Maleficent's men had attempted an ambush on not only the guards but the children of Kansas. Suddenly the outside didn't feel so safe anymore. A pit growing inside his stomach as he finished off his sketch of the flowers before him, noticing that amongst the field there were some that Rapunzel had asked for. He was about to mention something when suddenly there was the snap of a twig. Fight or flight should've kicked in, he should have done something, but instead he froze.

All he could think about was that their time was up. Her men had followed the guards here or worse there was a mole amongst them. He watched the guard in his periphery, wondering if it was him or the other, perhaps it was a trap laid out by them to capture two of the children. Maddie could feel the static begging to well up in the palm of his hands when Colby mentioned a bear. Maddie readjusted his view and saw what was approaching them wasn't one of her men but a black bear checking out its territory. "Good call babe. I think Black bears are one of the don't fuck with bears."

"There's also cars where we are from, they are kind of like horses but they are a lot faster, and you are able to store a lot of things inc the back as well to." Sierra said to Belle as she listened to them, and smiled as she looked over at Jack as she heard them explain the world that they had grown up in, sounded a whole lot different than how things were here. "Sounds pretty interesting." Belle said as her attention turned to Willow. "Hopefully they are good stories." Belle said she was curious how different her story was here and back there to.

Rapunzel looked at Megan as she started to apply the ointment to Lancelot's wounds, he groaned slightly as he felt the cold ointment being applied and flinched slightly. "Don't be a big baby." Rapunzel said shaking her head slightly towards him as Lancelot just gave her a little bit of an annoyed look but didn't say anything as his attention turned towards Megan. "Thank you." He said to her as Rapunzel handed Megan some clean bandages. "I prefer not to amputate anything unless it is absolutely necessary if the limb cannot be saved or is to infected." Rapunzel answered Megan's question. "The ointment we just given him should be able to clear the infection, we just need to change the bandages if they become to dirty." She said to Megan.

Back outside where the boys were the bear's attention was now focused on both Maddie and Colby, and it started to let out a loud growling sound as it faced them and then let out a rather loud roar towards them. One of Robin Hood's men quickly drew out a sword looking at the two kids in front of him. "Backup slowly and quietly." He said to the two of them. "Unless you have something to try and scare it off." He said.

Layla listened to Rosalia as she brought up about the wagon thing and she had to agree the wagon would be hard to hook up the horses and then hooking it up to the wagon was going to take some time. "I agree with Rosalia here the wagon is to big of a target to be tracked, and it'll take time to hook up the horses to the wagon." Layla said looking at the others as Robin Hood nodded slightly, there was enough horses for them to hop on with two people each that could maybe work. "So do you want to take the horses and go, or continue on foot?" He asked the group.

"I say we take the horses." Flynn suggested, it looked like the guard's hadn't come their way yet which was probably a good thing then, it gave them time to try and plan some more. "I can provide a distraction if needed to hide our escape." The woman said looking at the group Layla looked at the woman and her creepy hand companion but didn't say anything about the hand. "Maybe a distraction could work, what do you all think?" Layla asked.

The idea of being jostled around on horseback with an injured leg was unappealing to Cassi. She was probably going to vomit by the end of this. How attractive. Cassi looked down at her injured leg, feeling the swelling and the irritation. She sighed and looked up at Rose. ”If you let me fall, friends off.”
If anything, Cassi was hoping she would pass out on the way back to Rupunzel’s from the pain. It would suck to have to be awake through all of it. She kept breathing steadily, thinking of returning to the tower where she would be safe and fixed up. She just had to make it there. Hang on a little longer, Hood.

Willow shrugged at Jack’s comment. Maybe the air was better here, but it didn’t make up for the cleanliness she felt was necessary, like proper shampoo, body wash, and deodorant. She didn’t realize how much she loved all her hair products and make-up until she had to try and make do without. Not to mention the dirt inside the houses. The bugs. Yes, Rapunzel tried to keep a sterile environment, but it was no hospital.
”I think the stories we were told, at least by Disney, were a bit more sugar-coated than they are.” Some of the tales here were a little more Grimms with a splash of Disney. Or completely off. That was the thing with reality. It’s never what you think it should be.

"I'll ride with you." Rose offered to Cassi. She nodded. The horses were the best plan. The cart really would be too much and too easy to track. The horses they could take a bit circuitous and make sure they covered their tracks. Even splitting up if needed.

Rose got her bow ready. And nodded. Waiting for Flynn before heading in to grab a horse. Hopefully, the guards had left the saddles on so they didn't have to try to ride bareback. There would be no time to re-saddle the horses.

"I'm sure lightning would scare it." Colby offered as he backed away. He was mostly joking. That wasn't a great plan if he was honest. Sure he was impulsive and often did dumb things without thinking. But the danger of a forest fire was not lost on him if he tried to hit the bear with lighting. Or at least near it.

Too bad he didn't have one of those horn blasts or bear mace. He wasn't a hiker really. He knew there were some good woods near them, but he had never gone into them.

Maddie felt as the bears eyes locked onto the pair of them. It’s cold gaze peering at the two boys as they attempted to back away slowly so as to not provoke it to run. Once it began to growl however, Maddie froze in his tracks, fear creeping into him as he began to wonder if this was how it would all end. Stabbing Maleficent, evading Jafar, all simple tasks. But a black bear? That might get them killed. It was a pathetic way to die in the grand scheme of things given what all this world had to offer in terms of it. A guard asked if the boys had anything to frighten it, and Colby offered a response. They had just been practicing their magic, and while the lightning spell was new to them, Maddie had taken to it quite naturally. He continued to back away with Colby, eyes transfixed upon the bear as he knew better than to turn his back to it. He gave his boyfriend a nod, feeling the prickling of static against the palms of his hand arcing over towards his fingers. He took in a deep breath, and as he exhaled he let out the bolt of lighting a few feet away from the bear in an attempt to scare it off.

”I dont think thats gonna cut it Colbs…” Fear colored his every word as he watched the bear in the distance. He’d probably just agitated it, and if he was unlucky…then it may just go barreling towards them. Maddie swept his hands in large motions in front of himself as he began to craft a new spell. The water in the air began to get thick and pool around the creature before dispersing into a massive cloud of fog that cut its line of sight from him to them. Hopefully it was enough to disorient the bear, but he’d need help from his boyfriend to finish pulling it off. ”Colbs…any chance you can try that teleport spell? We dont have to go far, just in a different direction than what the bear had seen us in. Throw it off the scent you know?”

"And here I thought my bedside manner was poor," Megan mused. She was amused with Rapunzel's chiding of Lancelot. And she was not particularly surprised to hear him groan with pain. In Megan's experience, men tended to have a lower pain tolerance. She accepted the bandages from Rapunzel and finished up bandaging Lancelot's wound, pleased with her work.
