curious question for everybody. i have a sport idea for this story called Mazechase, it's like the third task in the triwizard cup in Goblet Of Fire but turned into a sport, there are 5 people: 1 on the entrance of the maze and 1 on the exit who are called the Wagemakers who are in communication with each other as they bet their class grade percentage points on how long it takes a 3rd person who is on neither team called the Maze Racer whose sole job is to get out, but on the Wagemaker's teams are 1 other person who's job it is to keep the Racer in the maze called the Runcasters who are allowed to use their magic for this job. my question is, do you guys want this in the story, or should i leave it out?

I mean it sounds like a lot of fun :) would that be like an entrance test or something lol? Or just a sport that's in the school?

Awesome posts so far everyone, just awaiting Aard's ladies and then we can get the story going :) im thinking that Chapter 1 will be about 30 minutes worth of reading, then lead into Chapter 2: Discovery which ill talk about when we get to it, but in the meantime Chapter 1's all about getting the lay if the land and introducing each other and such

so as a little explanation, what's happening in the real world is that all the places we're going to visit have been effectively magically tainted by this man in chains, and if you guys want to, you could include where your characters disappeared at as well.

The Species i introduced are called the Doknesh, or in their tongue the oknes'Dh. if you noticed the interesting words that tell'Sa was speaking it's english but with the first letter and the last letter preceeded by an apostrophe. so for example "She wants some apple pie" would instead be "h'Se ant'ws om'se ppl'ae i'pe" they also don't have words that are one letter or two so they don't say "I" or "is". They are the humans of this realm and there's different clans, the one i introduced are scavangers of the ocean area, there's cave dwellers, and then there are more civilized ones in Tront, which is like the capitol of Immortal Hills. Also if you want to write some assholes, a derogatory name for them are the Immortal Hillbillies

Just gotta wait for the King :)

So about Chapter 2, it's primarily about the backstory on how your characters developed their abilities

Which is interesting, because they seem much closer in the future xD It will be nice to see how they open up to each other eventually, for sure :D
