If you're still accepting, I thought I'd make a sheet.

Name:
Quietus

Nickname:
Quietus took to calling herself 'Nephlygal' when Man first became aware enough to attribute names to themselves.

Age:
Immutable

Birthday:
N/A

Origin:
Nephlygal came into being when the first of living things felt the wear of age, and succumbed to the inevitable process of death, followed by decay.

Deity:
Nephlygal embodies the concepts of death, atrophy and decline.

Hair Color:
Short, black strands of hair cover Nephlygal's head.

Hair Style:
Nephlygal's hair is mostly hidden underneath her elaborate headdress, but if she were to remove it, it would appear as very shortly-cropped; almost shaven.

Eye Color:
A pair of greyed eyes, as if they were blind, nestle behind her eyelids.

Skin Color:
Her skin is a creamy white pallor, appearing to be devoid of blood and warmth.

Height:
Nephlygal lacks a constant height, arriving in many forms. Where the process of death is greatest, she is tall and prominent, but when life has begun anew and things
enjoy their humble beginnings, she is shorter and less pronounced.

Body Build:
Nephlygal has a slender form, yet it also changes with the ebb and flow of death. To those that fear her, she is said to appear unhealthy, emaciated and skeletal. However, when she comes to those who have long sought release and to hold those at the end of their lives into her embrace, she reveals a more wholesome form that can be regarded as attractive - a subtly beautiful figure with an inviting bosom. In this way, she reminds the world that the cycle of life is wholly natural and the ending is just as sweet as the beginning.

Markings:

Demi-description:
All things are born or created new, and eventually will grow old before they lose their vigour and cease to be. Nephlygal is the usher of death and decay; the personification of atrophy and the decline of life. This process, one must remember, is wholly natural, and in this way Nephlygal is a neutral goddess. Death will come to all without judgement; but finds some sooner than others. Due to human nature and the will to live, she is scorned and feared by many. For this reason, she leads a mostly solitary existence among her peers, although her presence can be felt anywhere, as mortal creatures are always in need of the release of life, and the things they leave behind are likewise destined to return to the earth. Indeed, these can be as mundane as a tool rusting in the rain, or as prominent as a civilization falling into ruin. Nephlygal is everywhere, and her embrace is inescapable.

Background:
At the beginning of time, Nephlygal slumbered, awaiting her own hour of birth. When the first living things crawled upon the world, she opened her eyes, ever-vigilant to watch over their health and well being. As time passed, it was clear that the earth could sustain only so many of them, and it was decided that all things would manifest into being, but also wither and disappear to make room for others. When the time was thought to be right, Nephlygal emerged from her resting place. The oldest among the creatures lost the strength of youth. Its body started to slow and shut down in a gradual decline before ceasing to function altogether. Its remains were broken by other organisms and returned to the earth, from whence it came. Nephlygal was charged with maintaining this portion of balance, and ever since she has brought the sick to the end of their torment, and the old to their final bedrest. She has a kinship not only with the deity of life, but that of war, for war is the greatest source of death next to disease. At the same time, she is wary of war, because it arguably brings lives to her care that have not finished their natural cycles. The only time she has seen fit to intervene with such a case was Indra's campaign of murder that cost the universe untold lives and civilizations. Indra was only saved from Nephlygal's fate when it was agreed the goddess of the elements would restrain her powers to a tiny percentage of what they were.

Personality:
Nephlygal maintains a relatively even temperament, as she is charged with a natural process of the life cycle. She carries her task with a neutral state of mind, knowing that everything will feel her influence at some point. She is thought to have a nihilistic ideology due to all things eventually ending, although she is just as capable of feeling emotion as anyone. In fact, she is more often than not ambivalent, content to fulfil her duty and contribute to the ever-constant cycle of life and rebirth. After all, the transition from nothing to life, and life to death is the most profound process of all.

Powers:
Nephlygal knows when all living things are destined to die, although this foresight applies only to sickness and age. She cannot know who will survive a battle, or escape a natural disaster.

She has it in her power to control the flow of decline, to cause material to deteriorate, or organs to fail. When a town falls sick, it falls into her care to whisk those away who cannot bear their afflictions. When the old overstay their time on the earth, she causes their bodies to wither and pave the way for new generations.

Often, Nephlygal's power over life and material being are called upon by other gods. Then, death may become a punishment to the depraved, or a merciful end to suffering.

Weapons:
Nephlygal doesn't need any weapon or implement to carry out her charge, although may be depicted among some peoples with a net, shepherd's crook, scythe or whip. With these, it is said she catches, herds, drives or reaps mortals as their lives end.

Could I move this along so that Lupus is now a full fledged god and wreaking havoc on the mortal worlds evil men putting him in the anti hero position?

That'd not be very realistic, since they've barely been here for too long a time.

It's just slowing down. If I might give my opinion, a post or two a day is definitely not dead. It's certainly much better than my 'living' Ace Combat RP that gets a post every two days and rarely one daily.

It's not dying, it's just slower than what I am used to. We used to have 10-12 pages filled out a day.

Not sure why everything is so slow. Almost all RPs are slowing down like this. but I almost prefer it. If this were any faster, I'd have to drop. :\

Let's see if I don't just FLOAT AWAY FROM THIS AGAIN!! *sigh* What can I whip up for a post here? Hmm...

Edit (because i don't wanna double post): Now, let me see if I can synchronize a time for me to be on (hopefully) once a day, during the actual day vs. 4:00 AM. :/ I should be on tomorrow, but around... time-ish. Probably when everyone is online... hopefully. See you then! <3
