This particular model chambers the powerful .45 round, the orc-stopping caliber often associated with 1911 pistols. Scarlet's standard duty sidearm, chambered in .45 ACP. • Stun Rod | A magical non-lethal tool used to stun targets. Charged from ambient energy over time, the rod can deliver a painful jolt that could knock a target as large as an Orc down within a second. However, it can only be used so many times before needing to be recharged.
//Misc: • Strike Plates | Always worn when on duty, these interceptor plates are often worn within plate carriers. The plates themselves are capable of absorbing most physical attacks and some magical attacks due to the material they are made out of, but they aren't infallible. The plates themselves are lightweight and are often worn in conforming and overlapping configurations. • Flashbangs | Small grenades meant to non-lethally incapacitate targets. Carries a magical effect that both temporarily blinds and stuns creatures within a room, or in a 30-feet radius. • Bomb Defusal Kit | A kit built to defuse most bombs, some magical. While Scarlet isn't an expert in using it, she has it on hand just in case. • Thieves' Tools | Lockpicks, slim jims, handheld mirrors and the like can be quite handy when trying to get through doors.

Scarlet can best be described as an African American woman with bronze skin, complete with freckles that dot her face. She has some defined muscles that make her look a little tougher than most women her size, being at 5'8". However, the only muscles on display are often her arms as she wears basic black T-shirts and skinny cargo pants that match whatever environment she is in. Her feminine curves share their prominence with her musculature, enough to be noticeable but in no way hindering. She normally has her hair in a ponytail of sorts, but she can change her dark brown hair to whatever suits the occasion. When on the job, she often wears gaiters, face paint, caps, and dark tactical clothes and armor in order to help her blend in with the night, and to prevent her from being identified. Her 'work wear' may vary from job to job, but almost always she dons on her soft body armor to allow faster movement, and to protect her from basic street-level attacks.

If any trope can be used to describe Scarlet, it would most likely be Socially Awkward Hero. While she's got a big enough heart to do good things when she can (or at least when they're convenient), most of the time the 'nerd' side of her personality takes center stage. With her fixation on movies and video games, she tries to use her knowledge of them to her advantage to read out situations and recognize patterns. She tries to be casual and easy going, but often finds herself a bit nervous in large groups and a litany of other social situations. Her awkwardness stems from her propensity for being rather lonely, as well as a hopeless romantic. Despite that, she always attempts to rectify that by attempting to hook up with someone, her attempts mostly being made on women she finds attractive. Men aren't immune from her attempts, either. She often struggles with her slightly hazy past, as well as the fact that she's a failed experiment, but she tries her best not to let that get her down. When the going gets tough, she tries to make light of the situation by making jokes and references, but when all else fails, she becomes more cold and distant. She doesn't react too well to fear either, often masking it with lame quips and maybe a lot of cursing. With that being said, she does have a huge soft spot for cute critters and she is rather gentle with children and animals. (Will refine as game progresses)

Scarlet was not always Scarlet. 25 years ago, she was born as a man named Mitchell Shephard. As Mitchell, she grew up in a rather unloving household. Much was asked of her, and she was always held up to high expectations. She coped mainly by watching TV, cartoons and playing video games, pretty much growing up behind a CRT screen. She got above average grades in school, and lived an otherwise boring life. However, she didn't apply herself as much as much in school as her parents wanted her to, as she believed that she had no future with the Abomination lurking beyond the stars. She grew up wanting to be an actor, wanting to be some kind of action hero that would save the day, but she had a feeling that it was a pipe dream. The existence of the Abomination put her in a state of depression and had her pursue a life of true hedonism, as she believed that with the world ending, there was no point of pursuing her goals anymore. Scarlet turned 19. The world didn't end. She was just as surprised as almost everyone else when it turned out that the abomination was defeated. Her parents celebrated, but Scarlet felt empty and almost dead inside for quite a while. She continued on her routine, not even bothering to put in the effort to change her gender presentation when she learned that she was actually trans. She worked a shit job, got shit pay, and lived life for another two years. Shortly after she turned 21, she got absolutely wasted, and rode on the back of a motorcycle being driven by another drunk. Needless to say, she was killed in an accident shortly after.
Her unloved upbringing, while traumatizing, also turned Scarlet into a kind soul. The moment she got her state ID (and later her Driver's License), she listed herself as an Organ Donor. Just about every part of her body was used for those who needed it. Typically, brains are cremated with the rest of one's remains before being buried. However, as per Scarlet's own request on her organ donor form, her brain was to be donated too. A company, who was working on all kinds of medical magic and technology, purchased Scarlet's brain for pennies on the dollar and revived it. After probing her head a bit, they learned of her ideal body, her rather nerdy interests, and her wishes to become an action hero. And so the company, through the use of magic 3D printers, created her ideal body, and implanted her brain with corresponding muscle memory and knowledge on the use of vehicles and firearms. She was drilled military discipline into her unconsciouosness. What happened in her previous life was made foggier by attempts to erase it. Her brain was properly transported into her new body, and she was brought back to life. Scarlet woke up, and felt a sense of joy and euphoria once she found out what kind of body she had. After getting a feel of her new body, Scarlet answered numerous questions given to her by the scientists in charge. After hours of diagnostics and questioning, the results were in. Scarlet was a failure. Of what, she wouldn't know. But the company kicked her to the curb, and told her "good luck". She was on her own now.
From then on, Scarlet had to find her own way around. She initially had to crash at her friend's place until she got back on her feet, but as she got used to her new body and did some odd jobs, she found out that she was really good at fighting, shooting and driving. This led her into a criminal lifestyle of sorts, having to turn to unscrupulous work just to keep the lights on. The nerdy parts of her past life gave her an edge, as she was able to recognize patterns and irregularities in her environment. In that time, she got herself a new forged ID, with her new name "Scarlet Rabushka". It wasn't until 2 years after her reawakening that she found out that she could be a licensed contractor, in which she can do these 'odd jobs' that involved fighting, shooting and driving but in a more legal manner. She easily qualified for such a license (having a forged ID with no criminal records helped), and got her start doing security work. Every now and then, she got to be the action hero she dreamed of, but for the most part, it was mostly just boring patrol work. In that time, she earned her codename "Venom Bean", based off of an inside joke regarding Sean Bean and the Metal Gear games. Her exploits in smaller jobs got her contracted in places other than the United States, ending up in places like South Africa and Australia. With more experience under her belt as well as a few new expensive toys in her tactical bag of holding, she ended up signing on a large contract with the Organization of Magical Regulation. The contract had her fulfilling the duty of Armed Security and Crisis Response. Not everyone in the OMR was an armed combatant, so when the chips went down, it was up to her to throw hot lead and bring everyone out of the fire. With a sparkle in her eye, Scarlet signed the contract, and was on her way.

Badass Normal | Scarlet has no special abilities of her own, other than her imprinted memories on the operation of various weapons, vehicles and equipment. From criminal to contractor, she can pick locks, field strip most firearms and reassemble them, drive most vehicles at high speeds with precision and skill, perform CQC, and do other tactical stuff. Since most of these memories were imprinted, however, she doesn't have perfect form when it comes to performing them. Since it is simply imprinted muscle memory, she's slightly 'rusty' when it comes to moves she's done before in her career, and will be awkward when it comes to things she hasn't done before. Regardless of style, she has a lot of skills in that kitted out brain of hers.
Tactical Bag of Holding | Scarlet always has a small bag of holding that she has on her persons at all times. What looks like a fanny pack on her right hip is a large storage of weapons and equipment that she can use to her advantage. The bag itself was far from cheap, but it has given her an edge in almost every situation. In one moment, she could look like an unassuming tourist, and in the next, she's a commando out for blood.

Ahab’s clothing style is very business-oriented, mostly wearing dress shirts, slacks, and ties when working. Even during more causal events, his choice of clothing is always more formal even when it is unnecessary. Ahab likes to keep up an appearance of being civil, much to the chagrin of his orc brethren. This fact does not bother Ahab, as he wants the approval of the other races.
Personality:
Ahab is curious about everything around him, whether it be other people, cultures or scientific topics. Is not uncommon for him to ask frequent questions about these topics, something that could be quite annoying to other people. Ahab is very prideful, especially when it comes to his scientific work. Quickly becoming angered if disrespected or his work discredited. But this anger is rarely seen, as he has different methods of controlling his anger. Using mostly deep breathing, and recruiting Shakespear. Being gentlemen towards others, never saying a bad word towards anyone. Some people would think they could walk all over Ahab, but he is quick to remind them that he is not someone to cross. Ahab is an introvert, keeping mostly to himself. Speaking only when he feels it is necessary. Because of this trait, he does not have many friends.
To people that he does not know, or to most of his colleagues he can be perceived as cold and abrasive. The small group of friends he knows had mentioned how friendly he is. He is interested in people that he thinks that are “smart”. He unintentionally annoys people by constantly talking about his favourite topics. Ahab s very serious about his work not taking any shortcuts and being lazy when it comes to his work. Ahab. Have an obsession with movies from the past.

History/Bio:
Born in Kirishi, Russia living with his mother and father on their farm. During his childhood, he was more interested in science and reading than plowing fields. Hiding from his parents during the day, reading medical and scientific books in his treehouse. Because of his insistence to read books instead of helping his father, he would be constantly beaten by him. This made Ahab hate his father, when he was a teenager he fought back and almost killed his father. Running away from home joining a gang of hoodlums named Morks. Uses his knowledge to figure out creative ways to break into the business with less amount of evidence. Being caught at the age of sixteen he was arrested and sent to juvie. There he turned a new leaf and went clean. Finishing high school and getting into a prestigious college in Germany. Soon getting his PHD and master degree in physics and chemistry.
Working all over Europe,mostly in Germany, France and Switzerland. Being apart of various projects like finding cures for ailments, or working on a project involving black holes. His attention was changed from these projects, when he joined OMR because of their higher rate of pay. And the idea of exploring unknown places.

Martial Arts: With a lot of free time on her hands, Lhoris has a long background of training in boxing, wrestling and savate, which was a strong basis for her to also be trained in MMA on the OMR’s recommendation.
Music: Lhoris often calls music ‘her first love’ and is a world-class talent with the fiddle, accordion, piano, saxophone, and drums. Her singing voice is equally world-class.
Archery: Lhoris’ chief weapon of choice is the longbow. Even without magic, she is an incredibly accurate shot as well as a quick draw.
Magic
Lhoris’ primary area of magical skill and expertise is potions. She can brew and enchant potions and other consumable magical items. She is a walking encyclopaedia of worldwide potion lore. From the typical European ‘eye of newt and toe of frog’ witchcraft, to African Witch Doctor Muthi, to Chinese Blood and Qi pills. This is less useful in field work itself but she is frequently asked to prepare batch orders of potions by the OMR.
Much more useful in field work are her other magical fields; healing, and arrow enchantment. By laying her hands on an injured party, she can use her mana pool to heal the body’s wounds directly. She can also enchant the arrows she uses with a variety of effects such as homing or explosive.

Biography
Lhoris was born in 17th Century Marne, France, in a settlement of Elves that lived inside the woodlands. In spite of the rising tension in the country as a result of the Nine Years’ War, the village she lived in was very insular. Trade in potions with the nearby towns supported what little there was of “an economy”. Still, Lhoris was always fascinated by stories and other potion methods from the outside world. During the Jacobite Rebellion around 1750, Loris travelled to Scotland and taught herself English. The flow of information directly as a result of the Seven Years War was far greater than in Rural France and Lhoris learned a lot. Sadly, her time away from home was cut short.
The French Revolution occurred, and the neighbouring towns began raiding the forest settlements and killing Elves. Not content with nobility, anything that wasn’t a working class human being was a target, and several of Lhoris’ childhood friends were burned as Witches. She hastily returned home and helped the Elves fight back with several years of guerilla warfare. Everything changed when Napoleon took power, who saw the benefits of magic in his dreams of conquest and employed the Elves in his service. Lhoris travelled to Egypt and did not aid directly in fighting, but in potioncraft, study and research.
The tide of the war turned and Lhoris was recalled to France. Upon Napoleon’s defeat, she was captured by the British and returned to Scotland after striking a deal where she would defect to the British Empire. The sheer number of wars she assisted with helped greatly in her studies which became her main focus. During the Opium War, she took the opportunity to study Chinese potioncraft. During the Zulu War, she took the opportunity to work with the Witch Doctors. She didn’t care about the wars. The machinations of powerful humans didn’t interest her. She was already two hundred years old and had seen so many regimes rise and fall. Human power was fleeting. Potioncraft was eternal.
Lhoris stayed in service to the British during the Great War, where she returned to her home forest in Marne and began teaching the other Elves all the things she had learned in her travels as they produced potions for the Allies. Upon her request and as reward for her services, the British let Lhoris stay home. Sadly this peace was to be short lived as just a few years later, the Nazis occupied France. The forests were decimated and the Elves scattered. The Nazis had been doing their own research into the occult and the peaceful elves were no match for pure offensive magic. The Elves retreated west and joined resistance cells in the Cities. A way of life that had been maintained by the Elves for over a millenia, gone forever in just one war.
After the war, the world agreed that it did not want this to ever happen again. The non-magical humans formed the United Nations. The magical races formed the Organization of Magical Regulation. Lhoris herself assisted the founding of the organisation but refused a position of authority. She did not want the paperwork involved, and told the other founders to “write to her if they ever need help”. She then moved once again back to Scotland, and lived a fairly solitary life in the small town of Pitlochry.
