Name: Amelia "The Mysic" Daniels
Age: 35
Appearance:
Ability: Telekinetics (ability to move objects, not telepathy)
Teachers: Telekinetics and Ability control
Personality: She is very quiet outside of her teaching, but she is more concerned for her students than anyone else probably could be. She would do anything to protect them and give her life if needed.
Back Story: She was adopted from an orphanage in Russia but raised by an American family with an American name. She was taught Russian as well as English but she did not know much of her life before the orphanage. It turns out her parents gave her up when they discovered her ability. She was one of the first students to join the academy and now teaches a few classes.
Name: Daphney “Mother Earth” McAdams
Age: 39

Ability: Speaking with plants and animals
Teaches: Biology
Personality: She would be the definition of Mrs. Frizzle from Magic School Bus. She is a very enthusiastic teacher eager to help her students learn. She is one of those hands-on teachers where her student will always get to see and learn something new every day.
Back Story: She was actually born and raised in Ireland. Her family lived in a small village in the countryside on a farm. Her family discovered her ability when they witnessed her helping their dying crops grow. When they also discovered she could speak with their livestock, they tried to keep her secret from everyone. When she was discovered, she had to go to the institute where she decided to stay and teach even after she graduated.
Name: Michael “Dash” Smith
Age: 36

Ability: Super Strength and Quick Speed
Teaches: P.E.
Personality: He is a bit cold and comes off as stern when you are in his class. Once you know him and outside of classes, he is a lot more laid back. He stays stern in class to make sure everyone is safe and keeping in control of their abilities. He is very hypervigilant as well and in charge of night watch to make sure all the students are in their beds when it is lights out time.
Back Story: He was born and raised in the Bronx in New York. Even at a young age he was always very physically active. It soon became a problem when he got into weightlifting in school only to discover how he could weightlift such an insane amount. Once they figured out, he was a “freak” using his family’s word, he was sent to the institute and disowned him. Having nowhere to go he was asked to stay at the school and teach.
Name: Dr. Andre “Wild Beast” Saunders
Age: 58
Job: Principal/Founder
Appearance:
Ability: Superintelligence and Super instinct (being able to sense attacks against him)
Personality: If you are his enemy, this is the last person you would want to be fighting against. He is a very calm cool and collected individual, but he is also incredibly intelligent. He is the best person to come and ask for advice with almost being able to sense the future. Attacks he could sense with perfect accuracy but not events.
Back Story: He grew up in Bristol in a small family with a lower-middle-class lifestyle. They were thrilled when they discovered how intelligent their son was until their own son would be the one to figure out that he was a mutant. He then went to school on a scholarship, hiding his true self until he could do more research and studying. Once he got his doctorate, he wanted to open the institute to give people who had nowhere to go a place to practice their mutant ability with no criticism or fear of ridicule.
