I wonder what a 'power tier' list would look like! Dominants and Regalia aren't equal in strength, as I've apparently written in the codex, lol -- I forgot this.


I am just imagining the Avengers style line up of the Dominants.

They are all there, looking large and impressive, gods made flesh, as the camera pans across them, and then suddenly you have Godzilla and Jörmungandr dwarf them.

Lisabeth has a polite smile with bemusement as she just saw you doing something dumb.
Yrkhala is that goth on school portrait day or a police line up.
Nyx looks like she is contemplating the best way to devour your soul.

Love everyone's images - each one as a unique vibe that's in line with the character.
It almost feels like the photographer's distance implies what sort of person took the picture (professional studio, selfie, friend, stranger, fan, stalker, etc - in no particular order lmao)

Good point, Cassiel's is the most 'formal', the least personal, which fits him very well.

So, just to update:

I've written most of the first GM/environment post or whatever you'd call it. I have my own character-first post to write, but it should be fairly fast.

I'm also doing in-character banners! YES, MORE BANNERS. I decided we need something super sleek and different from the character sheet banners. This is what they'll look like -- very clean, no names or other bullshit, just your character and their dominant.

This is the banner where it will be real easy to change character image whenever you want -- it could be a mood change, clothing, whatever.

@Aku the Samurai I like how Aethalos and Usui feel like polar opposites of a sort if it makes sense. Their functional roles in their respective nations (well, ex-nation in Aethalos' case) are similar but inversely so.

@Mirandae Are we allowed to update the Home part of our character's bio? I was thinking of giving Votera giant electric death rays that can weaponize the city's vast surplus of electric and crystal power. They are outwardly peaceful but have deterrents hidden in plain sight - the windmills open up and turn into weapons if need be.

I want to create a vibe of "nice if you're nice to us, but if you want to fuck around and find out, you will"

Edit: can we also add / edit more stuff as we think of them? Like... cuisine, customs, fashion, etc...

Okay, so here's the final update for tonight (for me).

The in-character banners are done. Aeolian does art of her character herself, so I'll tinker with that when she's done. But, here is everyone else. I'll put this in the "0th" post of the in-character as well, along with a local map and how to do timestamps.



I prompted these to be a 'casual morning look' sort of. This is just a default for now. Whenever you want to change something in these in-character images, just hit me up and I'll take care of it along any requests you have for mood, clothes, etc :)

That being said and done, I'll start the in-character within 24 hours from now. I only have my own character post left to write, which I'll do tomorrow (for me).

I have a question about Crystals, how long does it take for one "chunk" to form? And why are they more abundant underground when the Regalia are above ground - do they seep into the ground when the Residue is released? On that thought, does it exhaust the Regalia to release Residue / are there finite amounts they can give in a day?

I've updated my character sheet. Neon is now Cécile Heartfilia and got a new look too. I also updated his personality a bit since he seemed too "oh wise one" perfect lol Aint no 20 year old that wise. I also included more details about Eshea for anyone who hadn't seen it.
